5 Stabbed at Rabbi’s Home in NY; Suspect Identified as Thomas Grafton  is in Custody!
Ramapo police said a man armed with a knife attacked a rabbi's home on the seventh night of Hanukkah
Five people were stabbed and transported to nearby hospitals
The NYPD found and arrested the alleged attacker in Manhattan later that night
Authorities say five people were stabbed at a rabbi's home late Saturday night in Monsey, New York, the latest and most violent in a string of anti-Semitic attacks in the greater New York City area in the last few days.
Ramapo Police Chief Brad Weidel said the suspected attacker entered the residence around 10 p.m. armed with a knife. Saturday was the seventh night of Hanukkah and was being widely observed in Monsey, a hamlet that is home to thousands of Orthodox Jews. There were as many as 70 people in the rabbi's home at the time of the attack.

The Hasidic organization Chabad, citing sources in the community and witnesses at the scene, said someone in the home threw a table at the attacker, chasing him off. He then allegedly tried to gain access to the synagogue next door, but the occupants barricaded themselves inside. The assailant then fled the scene in a silver sedan, according to witnesses.
By midnight, the suspect was located in Harlem and taken into custody by the NYPD.
Police identified the suspect as Thomas Grafton, 37, of Greenwood Lake in Orange County.
A senior law enforcement official told svereal media outlets he was caught in his vehicle. License plate readers on the George Washington Bridge and in Harlem helped police zero in on the car's location, according to the official.
Weidel said the suspect is expected to be charged with five counts of attempted murder and one count of burglary.
The Orthodox Jewish Public Affairs Council said the five victims, all Hasidic, were transported to local hospitals with stab wounds. As of Sunday morning, at least two were believed to have been critically injured.

OJPAC co-founder @YossiGestetner alongside @HikindDov of @AmericansAA listing steps that gov and LE can take to tackle the rise in attacks: 1) Full responses after an attack, 2) long term stepped up security and 3) publicizing the consequences the attackers faced for those acts.
The attack took place in the house of Hasidic Rabbi Chaim L. Rottenberg during a Hanukkah celebration, Michael Specht, supervisor of the town of Ramapo that also services Monsey, told NBC News.

Rottenberg runs the synagogue next door to his home. Video obtained shows Rottenberg holding a gathering at his home after the attack, addressing a group of Hasidic men and leading them in song.
At a news conference outside Rabbi Rottenberg's home Sunday morning, New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo said the rabbi's son was one of the stabbing victims, noting that he was "recovering."
One of the victims who was in critical condition after the attack sustained "wounds to the head," Cuomo said.

"It's important for me to express to the rabbi and to all the people of the state of New York that this is intolerance, meets, ignorance, meets illegality," he said. "This is violence spurred by hate, it is mass violence, and I consider this an act of domestic terrorism." "These people are domestic terrorists, and the law should reflect that, and they should be punished as if it was an act of terrorism," Cuomo added, noting that he would include a proposal along those lines in his "State of State" address at the beginning of next year.
The NYPD Counterterrorism Bureau said it's "closely monitoring" the situation.

A senior law enforcement official said the FBI was sending criminal and counter-terror investigators to Rockland County to assist local authorities. The attack comes on the heels of half-a-dozen hate crimes across New York City in recent weeks that targeted the Jewish community.
In just the last week alone, including those stabbed in Ramapo, at least 10 Jews have been injured in the spate of violence in New York City and surrounding towns. That follows the attack on a Kosher supermarket in Jersey City earlier this month that left a cop and three civilians dead.
Mayor de Blasio said Friday that police presence would increase in Crown Heights and two other Brooklyn neighborhoods with large Jewish populations.

New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo issued a statement shortly after midnight that read in part, "This was a despicable and cowardly act, and I am directing the State Police hate crimes task force to immediately investigate and to use every tool available to hold the attacker accountable to the fullest extent of the law. State Police are currently on the scene assisting local law enforcement."

#RHOA: Terrifying car crash caught on video outside of ‘RHOA’ star Kenya Moore’s home!
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore shared some terrifying video of a car ramming into her mailbox and flipping over in front of her house on Thursday.
In the video, which was captured on Moore’s security cameras, a car is seen driving by her Georgia home and smashing into the star’s large cement mailbox — which sent the vehicle flying through the air and flipping over once before crashing onto its side.

A spokesperson for the Sandy Springs police department confirmed to Page Six that a vehicle struck a mailbox and overturned.
The spokesperson said there were minor injuries and that the driver was cited for failure to maintain lane.

#Empire: Actress Bre-Z Debuts Her New Girlfriend!
Talented rapper/actress Bre-Z of hit Fox series, “Empire,” was once extremely private about her personal life. But she switched things up and recently showed off her new girlfriend on Instagram.
Bre-Z, who currently stars in The CW’s hit series “All American”, debuted her girlfriend, makeup artist Chris Amore, on social media while spreading holiday cheer. Her caption read:

“MERRY CHRISTMAS!” Chris shared the same steamy photos with her boo.
Bre-Z’s relationship may come as a shock to some considering that earlier this year, she told Nylon Magazine that she wanted her sexuality to remain a private matter in order not to distract from her career.
“I love everybody. But when it gets down to whatever is underneath my clothes, whatever is inside of my home, or in my bedroom…”
Bre continued: “I feel like at some point, being in the public eye, you have to keep something for yourself. And that’s just what I choose to keep for me.”

It looks like Chris Amore was able to give Bre-Z a change of heart!

#HipHopNews: Young Buck Arrested And Held Without Bond!
Young Buck didn't get to enjoy the holidays like the rest of us, and it's all because of his latest legal issue.
According to a Thursday (Dec. 26) report from News Channel 5 of Nashville, Tenn. , Buck was arrested on a felony fugitive from justice warrant on Dec. 20. He was apprehended by Ashland City, Tenn. police. The warrant was issued in Georgia, yet the charge connected to the warrant is not yet publicly known.

Buck is not eligible for bond because he's considered a felony fugitive from justice. Buck will have to stay behind bars until his scheduled court date, which is slated for May 7, 2020. XXL has confirmed this report with the Cheatham County Sheriff's Office.
The rapper previously served time for violating his probation related to 2012 gun charges. Authorities determined that he violated his probation when he allegedly threatened to burn his ex-girlfriend's house down back in July 2016.

Prior to his latest bout with legal trouble, Young Buck was caught up in his beef with 50 Cent. Earlier this year, Buck dropped two diss tracks aimed at the G-Unit founder. The beef appears to stem from 50's unwillingness to let Buck out of his G-Unit contract unless Buck pays him $300,000. On his 50 diss, "Foofy Freestyle," Buck doesn't hold back his feelings about 50 and their business dealings.

"This not our first falling out, know how to handle it now/Banks gone, ain't nobody there to settle it now/Them other niggas need verses from whoever around," Buck raps on the song. "Come on, Foofy—this Instagram shit done got goofy/Let's focus on them $2 million that nigga robbed me/Let's talk about them bitches you burnt, them hoes chargin'/You know what I learned? How not to be a father!

Don Imus, pioneer of radio shock jock genre, has died at 79!
Radio shock jock Don Imus, one of the pioneers of his genre, died Friday less than two years after retiring, according to a family statement given to NBC New York.
He was 79.He died Friday after being hospitalized at the Baylor Scott and White Medical Center in College Station, Texas, his family said. The cause of death was not divulged, but early this year Imus said on air that he had prostate cancer.

"Deirdre, his wife of 25 years, and his son Wyatt, 21, were at his side, and his son Lt. Zachary Don Cates is returning from military service overseas," the family said.
The controversial morning personality’s last day on the radio was March 29 of last year. He announced Jan. 22, 2018, that he was retiring, telling fans: “Turn out the lights ... the party's over."
The grizzled radio man was best known for his outsize cowboy hat and penchant for making controversial, often offensive, statements.
In 2007, MSNBC dropped its simulcast of the "Imus in the Morning" radio program after he used a racial slur to describe Rutgers University's mostly African American women’s basketball team.

He was also fired from his gig on CBS radio for the same remark. He returned to the airwaves, at New York's WABC (AM), after eight months of exile.
Imus was born in Riverside, California, raised on a cattle ranch near Kingman, Arizona, and started in radio in New York in 1971, according to a bio released by his family Friday.
A challenging childhood that included an arrest for fighting and the divorce of his parents culminated in an unremarkable public school career, the bio states.

"He graduated with no honors and no skills, a rare stroke of luck because a broadcasting career required neither," it says.
Imus went on to take his acerbic tongue and steadfast identification with the American working man to the realm of ratings gold. He was inducted into the National Association of Broadcasters Radio Hall of Fame in 1989.

On Friday, friends and colleagues reacted to his demise.
"He will long be remembered as one of the true giants in the history of radio," New York sports radio legend Mike Francesa said on Twitter.
Joe Scarborough of MSNBC's "Morning Joe" said on Twitter that the program "obviously owes its format to Don Imus. No one else could have gotten away with that much talk on cable news."

Imus is also survived by four daughters, Nadine, Ashley, Elizabeth and Toni, and two sons, Wyatt and Zachary.

George Michael's Sister Dies On Singer's 3-Year Death Anniversary!
Three years after George Michael‘s death on Christmas Day in 2016, his sister Melanie Panayiotou was found dead in her London home.
According to TMZ, the 55-year-old was found by her sister, Yioda on Wednesday (December 25). While her cause of death has not yet been revealed, the death is not being treated as suspicious by police.

Following news of Melanie's passing, her family released a statement to Entertainment Tonight, per their lawyer John Reid. "We can confirm that very tragically Melanie has passed away suddenly," the statement began. "We would simply ask that the family’s privacy be respected at this very sad time. There will be no further comment."

Just last month, Melanie spoke about her brother's film, Last Christmas, telling Big Issue, "Yog [her nickname for George] adored Christmas and he loved the idea of this film. I am sure he will be enjoying seeing Emilia [Clarke]'s amazing light bulb smile, something they share, across the celestial miles." She added, "And, most importantly, we all, together with our dear departed Yog (my 'very proud to be gay' brother — contrary to what you may have read recently!) wish a very merry, merry, Christmas."

As fans know, Michael passed away at 53-years-old on Christmas Day in 2016. Three months later, the coroner revealed that the singer died of natural causes and suffered a dilated cardiomyopathy with myocarditis and fatty liver, People reports.

Beyonce’s Publicist Shuts Down Rumors She’s Performing In Ghana NOT True!
It turns out Queen Bey won’t be taking the stage in Ghana after all.
Her long-time publicist, Yvette Noel-Schure, addressed headlines that Beyonce would be performing in Ghana the weekend of Dec. 28.
She wrote,“This is not true. Beyoncé is not performing in Ghana this weekend” “Just here to deliver the truth. The official truth and nothing but the truth. Beyoncé is nOT performing in Accra, Ghana this weekend. To all you have returned ‘home,’ have the most beautiful time. #onelove”
The clarification comes after reports from Beyonce’s fan pages claimed the singer was hitting the stage in the African country. One page tweeted back in October,

“Beyonce will celebrate Christmas in Ghana this year with her family, according to one journalist she has projects there on December 26, some say it is a special Christmas concert but the journalist declined to reveal what it is about.”
While she’s not performing, there were photos of Beyonce, her husband Grammy-Award winning rapper Jay-Z and their daughter Blue Ivy reportedly landing in Ghana Saturday (Dec. 28).
According to reports, she’s there to celebrate the Year of Return. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo kicked off the Year of Return in Washington D.C. last September. The year recognizes August 2019 as the 400-year-mark since Africans arrived in the United States as slaves. Since then, celebrities like Boris Kodjoe, Nicole Ari Parker, Idris Elba, Diggy Simmons, and Anthony Anderson have made their way to the country.

There is a “Deadpool 3” In The Works At Marvel!
Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that a “Deadpool 3” is in the works at Marvel Studios.

Taking to hit talk show ‘Live With Kelly and Ryan,” the actor told the popular show hosts Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest that another sequel to the movie series is in motion.
“We’re working on it right now with the whole team,” Reynolds informed the show hosts, audience and viewers. “We’re over at Marvel, which is the big leagues all of a sudden. It’s kind of crazy.”

According to Variety, Deadpool was one of only a few characters that were owned outright by a studio aside from Disney. However, he came home to Marvel Studios president Kevin Feige and his team when Disney acquired Fox for $71.3 billion.

The first two films were developed with Fox film leadership.
However, Emma Watts, Fox films former president of production, will no longer be overseeing the franchise as she did the first two films, according to insiders behind the scenes familiar with the project. Instead, she will remain in the Reynolds business moving forward in 2020 overseeing different projects including a video game action-comedy, “Free Guy” under Fox, as well as Steven Spielberg’s West Side Story, the ”Avatar” Franchise and Ridley Scott’s “The Last Duel.”

Deadpool has been pretty consistent with its success over the years with “Deadpool” and “Deadpool 2,” earning a combined $1.5 billion worldwide. Budgets for the films were reported at $58 million and $110 million prior to marketing costs.

‘RHOP’ stars Candiace Dillard and Monique Samuels’ assault charges dropped!
After attempting to file assault charges against one another, the Maryland state attorney’s office has dismissed the cases of both Monique Samuels and Candiace Dillard.

The “Real Housewives of Potomac” stars took legal action against each other in November over a physical altercation that took place in October. Dillard, 33, was the first to file assault charges, leading Samuel’s to counter-file, claiming her actions were in self-defense.

Public Affairs Director Ramon V. Korionoff confirmed to Us that the State’s Attorney’s Office for Montgomery County, Maryland tossed out charges on both sides. Both ladies were facing time behind bars.
Samuel’s attorney, A. Scott Bolden, told Us in a statement, “Consistent with [Dillard’s] prior bad acts, offensive words and conduct, and her reputation for physical threats and verbal outbursts on the show, through third party interviews and the review of other evidence, the government concluded not to move forward against my client, Mrs. Samuels.

Bolden went on, “And while the government decided not to pursue my client’s defensive claim against Candiace, we are very satisfied that justice was done. It is our sincerest hope that both parties can move forward without any further judicial actions or involvement and that this dispute can be resolved through mediation or a thoughtful conversation between the parties, without threats, goading or bad behavior that Candiace is so well known for.”

Dillard’s lawyer, James L. Walker, Jr., his client “has been sadly attacked, physically and personally, by Mrs. Monique Samuels and her legal team! Even today as she is vindicated and there is no proof whatsoever that she committed a crime against her castmate, they are still attacking her.

“We would hope that Mrs. Samuels is getting help and treatment, as the evidence we saw clearly showed her as the aggressor and bragging about her assault on our client,” he continued. “We are prayerful that all parties can move on now and that Mrs. Samuels and her representatives will cease and desist with the verbal attacks and grandstanding against our client as this decision today releases Mrs. Samuels from criminal prosecution, but a civil court would still most likely find her actions to be legally actionable and considered assault!”

Colin Kaepernick’s Nike Air Force 1 Sells Out in ONE DAY!
That was quick! According to CBS News, the Colin Kaepernick and Nike Air Force 1 collaboration, “True to 7” has sold out minutes after debuting Monday.

As described on the Nike site, “The newest iteration, the Nike Air Force 1 x Colin Kaepernick is inspired by the voice of the athlete and his True to 7 storytelling. The luxe black leather upper is accented by a reflective swoosh and other high-touch accents in white and black. The shoe also incorporates a series of graphics including a portrait of Kaepernick embroidered on the heel tab, his personal logo on the tongue, a patterned sock liner and a number seven hangtag.” And directly under the description is an unclickable button saying simply “sold out.”

“This Air Force 1 season, Nike partnered with a collective of collaborators to design an AF1 that connects to their life personally. Colin was identified because we believe his voice and perspective inspire many generations on and off the field,” Nike said in a statement to CBS News.
On the sole of the sold-out sneakers is a subliminal message with the date “08 14 16” on the sole of the right shoe which signifies the first date Kaepernick didn’t stand during the playing of the national anthem. This significant moment started his protest against racial injustice as he started taking a knee officially during the national anthem on Sept. 1, 2016.
The Nike/Kaepernick collaboration helped Nike and the ad agency that created the ad win an Emmy for outstanding commercial at the 2019 Creative Arts Emmy Awards. The commercial, titled “Dream Crazy,” features Kaepernick alluding to the sacrifice he made by initiating the #TakeAKnee movement, which ultimately cost him his career in professional football. “Believe in something even if it means sacrificing everything,” he says in the ad.

Kaepernick, who played in Super Bowl XLVII for the San Francisco 49ers in 2013, lost his job in 2016 after taking a knee during the national anthem to protest racial injustice in America. The act sparked the controversial #TakeAKnee movement. Although the NFL said that it is not colluding on keeping Kaepernick from getting signed, he sued the league and eventually settled out of court for an undisclosed amount last year. He still remains a free agent.

“Cats” Has Been Pulled From Oscar Awards Consideration After Low Box Office Numbers and Poor Reviews!
It has been a little under two weeks since the film “Cats” arrived in theaters, and movie makers are already trying to forget the box office failure once and for all.

The musical fantasy film based on the stage musical of the same name has turned out to be a complete flop for Universal Pictures. Due to the lack of critical acclaim and extremely low box office ticket sales, Universal has decided to pull the movie’s “For Your Consideration” campaign. Taylor Swift, amongst other stars of the film, are also distancing themselves from the diminished project. The film is also notably absent on the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences streaming platform, where Academy members can stream contending films.

“Cats” has earned only $6.5 million at the box office on its opening weekend, a dismal number compared to the $100 million that it cost to create the movie.

Kevin Hart's Wife Details How She Found Out About His Affair, Which He Calls 'Lowest Moment of My Life'!
The comedian opens up about the scandal on his new Netflix docuseries.
Fans have already heard a lot from Kevin Hart when it comes to his cheating scandal, but his wife Eniko Parrish gets the spotlight and shares her side of the story on his latest Netflix special.ADVERTISING
Dropping today, “Kevin Hart: Don’t F— It Up” follows Hart through a number of his high-profile ups and downs, including his affair and the controversy around hosting the Academy Awards. The third episode, out of six, focuses almost entirely on his cheating and the fallout, which he calls “the lowest moment of my life.”

In 2017, Hart received video of a sexual encounter he had with another woman in Las Vegas, while Parrish was pregnant. One of Hart’s friends, J.T. Jackson, was arrested and charged with extortion back in May 2018 for allegedly trying to get money out of Hart in exchange for the clip. Jackson, so far, has been cleared of attempted extortion, attempted concealing and selling stolen property, and unauthorized use of personal identifying information.

He’s still facing an additional count of identity theft, the case is ongoing. Jackson has denied all the allegations against him.
“How I found out was a DM,” Parrish explained on the docuseries. “I don’t know who it was, sent me an edited video of Kevin and another woman. I was pregnant at the time. I was about 7-8 months pregnant, I was having breakfast, I opened my phone and immediately I just lost it. I called him crying, I’m like pissed. Right then and there I kept saying, ‘How the f–k did you let that happen?'”

“You publicly humiliated me. Your whole, everything’s on Instagram, everything’s on social media. It was an ongoing fight all the time,” she recalled, through tears. “Every single day. I kept questioning him, like, ‘If this is what you’re gonna do, I don’t want to be a part of that.'”
As for why she stayed with him, Parrish said it came down to family.
“I kept worrying about the baby, I have to maintain a level head, I think that’s the only thing that really got me through,” she explained. “I wasn’t ready at the time to just give up on my family. I wanted Kenzo to be able to know his dad and grow up, so it was a lot. It was a lot for me, but we’ve been through it, we’ve gone through it, we passed it and he’s a better man now because of it.”

“I’m happy that it kind of happened,” she continued, still visibly emotional. “I get sensitive every time I talk about it. Sorry.”
Parrish said she does believe in “second chances” and forgiveness, but added, “three strikes, you’re out. As long as he behaves, we’re good.”
After Parrish got the spotlight, Hart spoke about the incident as well, saying the “toughest thing was telling my wife” and adding that there’s “no easy way to have that conversation”.”

“The worst part is just knowing how you made somebody feel,” he continued. “When I got to see that firsthand with Eniko, when I got to see the affect my reckless behavior had, that was crushing. That tore me up. That really tore me up.”

“That’s probably the lowest moment of my life because I know what I was responsible for,” he said, explaining that he really leaned on his inner-circle — and his trainer, especially — to get him through it.
Added trainer Ron “Boss” Everline: “We worked out three times a day. He needed to clear his f–king mind. Kev realized he f–ked up, there was tears, a lot of emotion, public humiliation for his wife … he f–ked up and he needed almost a slap in the face to sit his ass down.”
As for the allegations against his former friend, Hart noted that everything was still ongoing and said he had a hard time accepting that all this could have come from someone so close to him. “I still can’t find it in my heart to say that it’s the person they say is involved,” he added, never mentioning Jackson by name.

“Kev was crying for days hurt, he still doesn’t believe it,” said Parrish. “He’s like still in shock.”
“To this day there’s still a piece of me thats like there’s no way,” added Kevin, who wasn’t blind to the fact this possible betrayal by a friend caused pain similar to the pain he inflicted on his wife.
“What I was able to take from it is that the same hurt I caused an individual — an individual being my wife — that same level of pain came right back to me,” he said. “It sucks that what happened happened, but now your eyesight is even more clear.”
The entire incident has led to trust issues for Hart, who is wary of allowing new faces into his circle of trust.

The City of Dallas dismissed from lawsuit over police shooting!
DALLAS (AP) — A federal judge has ruled the city of Dallas is not liable for an off-duty police officer fatally shooting a man in his own apartment last year.
On Monday, U.S. District Judge Barbara Lynn dismissed the city from civil lawsuit that the family of Botham Jean brought after the 26-year-old was killed by Amber Guyger.
The ruling leaves the 31-year-old former officer as the sole defendant in the suit, which argues she used excessive force and that better police training could have prevented Jean's death. It makes a large financial settlement unlikely.

In her brief ruling, Lynn wrote that she was upholding a magistrate judge's decision and dismissing the city because the suit failed “to state a claim upon which relief can be granted."
Guyger was found guilty of murder for Jean's death and sentenced to a decade in prison in October. She testified at trial that she mistook Jean's apartment for her own on the floor below and thought he was an intruder.
Jean, an accountant from the Caribbean island nation of St. Lucia, had been eating a bowl of ice cream when Guyger entered his home and shot him.

His death drew national attention for its unusual circumstances and as one of several prominent killings of black men by white police officers.

A lawyer for Jean's family did not immediately respond to a request for comment Thursday.
