Chrissy Teigen for Elle UK - January 2019
There is no doubt that Chrissy Teigen is the clap black queen, which is one of the reasons that I like her. Also she knows how to get things pumping on twitter. You can catch the model on the January 2019 cover of ELLE UK magazine. On the cover which was shot by Gilles Bensimon, Chrissy is wearing head to toe CHRISTIAN DIOR RESORT 2019. In the issue, she talks the internet, how she met husband John Legend and so much. Continue below to read some excerpts from her interview.
On her stretch marks:
Everyone Photoshops them out. It’s insane. And I don’t want anyone to feel like they’re the only ones. I was on a Victoria’s Secret shoot and it was a big turning point for me to see those women with scars and stretch marks and bruises. Who’s to say it’s even a flaw?

On fashion:
Fashion is definitely kinder to women now. Some brands cater to a lot of different body types, so it’s obvious now who supports women and who doesn’t.’ And it isn’t just fashion – it’s across the board. I’ve never seen women have more fight in them than now. We’re ready to stir the pot and bring issues to light.
On husband John Legend:
We just clicked. It wasn’t like 'he’s so sexy!' But he did make the first move, for sure.Every time someone asks John for a selfie and he says, 'I never do this', I think back to the night we met when I said it, but not about selfies. We spent 12 hours together, so that’s like 12 dates, right?

On internet trolls:
It’s not like I don’t want to ruffle feathers. If it’s something we really believe in, such as the tented camps [Trump’s child separation policy], then I’ll talk about it.

On her online community:
I have relationships with people I’ve never met, but I’ve talked to on Twitter for, like, six years. To me, that’s a friend.’

#RHoA: Kandi Has A Message To You Fans that Claim She's Obsessed With Porsha's Relationship
Kandi Burruss is tired of Real Housewives of Atlanta viewers pegging her as the Porsha Williams-obsessed villain in the latest season of the series.
In fact, she touched on her intentions behind the chatter during a recent interview and explained just why she chose to consult the other ladies before going to Porsha, herself, with the tea about her man.
As fans may recall, Kandi sat down with Porsha recently, where she explained her concerns over her fiancΓ©, Dennis McKinley, tattooing women of his past all over his body.

"In most situations, if somebody tattoos a person's name on them or whatever, whatever you take it as in, this really means nothing," she told her pregnant cast mate. "But if you find out that person had been doing that a lot with different other people, it's like, 'Well, OK, maybe I shouldn't jump so quickly to think, OK, this is gonna be as serious as he's portraying it to be, because his skin ain't exclusive.'"

After Porsha failed to receive her criticism as constructive, Kandi further explained her comments on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen and touched on fans of the show slamming her for her involvement.
"With my friends, if I know something, I'm gonna let them know," she said. "I ran the information past some of the girls to see if I should even have that conversation with Porsha. I didn't mind having the conversation, myself. I feel like Porsha, she just didn't wanna know from me."

Are her comments justified?

#Empire: Did you Know that Taraji P Henson at first TURNED DOWN the role of Cookie Lyon?
Aren’t we glad she did! Taraji P. Henson did not accept the job when it was initially offered to her because she had decided she was done with acting. However, she eventually recognised the value of the role of Cookie, creating one of our fave characters of the drama series.

Thanks Cookie!

The initial leg of Obama’s book tour for her memoir Becoming, which brought her to 10 cities across the U.S. and Europe, was so popular that some VIP packages went for as much as $3,000. On Tuesday, her publisher and event promoter Live Nation announced that due to the tour’s success, it is adding more stops.

The 2019 tour will also include a rescheduling of European stops Obama missed due to former President George H.W. Bush’s funeral. A yet-to-be named moderator will appear in conversation with Obama at every stop—Oprah, Reese Witherspoon, and Sarah Jessica Parker are just a selection of those already announced.

Murdered Journalist Jamal Khashoggi and other journalists are Time's Person of the Year
Slain Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi and other journalists that Time magazine called "the guardians" were named Time's Person of the Year for 2018 on Tuesday. Khashoggi and the group were chosen over special counsel Robert Mueller, Russian President Vladimir Putin and President Trump, who were listed as finalists on Monday.

Mr. Trump was named the first runner-up Tuesday. Mueller was the second runner-up.

The other journalists named with Khashoggi were the Capital Gazette newspaper in Maryland, where five people were killed in a mass shooting earlier this year; imprisoned Reuters reporters Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo; and Maria Ressa, founder and editor of a news site in the Philippines. Time recognizes the person or group of people who most influenced the news and the world "for better or for worse" during the past year.

Khashoggi was killed two months ago. The journalist, who had lived in the U.S. and wrote for The Washington Post, had been critical of the Saudi regime.

U.S. intelligence officials determined that Saudi security officials were most likely acting on orders from Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman when they killed and dismembered Khashoggi inside the Saudi Consulate in Turkey. Mr. Trump, who views the crown prince as an ally, has been reluctant to accept the CIA's findings.

"His murder has prompted a global reassessment of the Saudi crown prince and a really long overdue look at the devastating war in Yemen," Time's Editor-in-Chief Edward Felsenthal said on NBC's "Today" show. Khashoggi was the first deceased person named Person of the Year, Felsenthal said.

Reesa is an award-winning Philippine journalist who, along with the online news service she heads, has been sued for tax evasion. Her website has been critical of the government of Philippines President Rodrigo Duterte, and she claims the charges are politically motivated.
Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo have been imprisoned for nearly a year in Myanmar after investigating a massacre of Rohingya Muslims. In June, four journalists and a sales assistant were killed by a gunman at the Capital Gazette newspaper.

In addition to Mr. Trump, Mueller and Putin, the magazine said six other finalists made its shortlist for this year. They were:
Christine Blasey Ford
"Black Panther" director Ryan Coogler
March For Our Lives Activists
Meghan Markle
South Korean President Moon Jae-in

Kim Kardashian Says Kris Jenner’s Disapproval of Her Ecstasy Use Helped Her Kick The Habit
Late last month, Kim Kardashian revealed on “Keeping Up with the Kardashians” that she was high on ecstasy on two of the craziest moments in her life – when she married Damon Thomas in 2000 and when she filmed a sex tape with Ray J three years later.

Since then, despite Ray’s refutation in regards to their 2003 sexcapade, the social media extraordinaire has spilled even more tea about her drug-ridden past, specifically how her mother helped her kick the habit.

“I would tell my mom everything,” Kardashian said in an interview with Busy Philipps on “Busy Tonight,’ “We always had such a close relationship. So I would come home and be like, ‘Oh my God, Mom. I did ecstasy last night.”
“I remember this so clearly,” Kardashian said, adding that she was “so young.” “So she was just so upset thinking I was going to turn into something and be this crazy drug addict. And I was just like, ‘You know what, she’s so right. I’m so over it. This is so not me.’ And I just never did anything again.”

However, in her revelation, Kardashian failed to provide a timeline. But in November, a source told PEOPLE that the socialite is far removed from those days, saying, West “definitely does not do drugs and hasn’t for years – and even then she barely dabbled.”⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
“Here’s the thing,” Kardashian continued on ‘Busy Tonight,’ “People that were close to me that obviously know that life of mine, they’re like, ‘I can’t believe you said that.’ And I was like, ‘Well, I mean, I never really hide anything.’”

“It’s just weird to people: I’ve done ecstasy, but I don’t drink, I don’t smoke weed, I don’t do anything,” she said. “So it’s weird to have done that.”

Chris Brown Hit With Lawsuit After Allegedly Refusing To Pay Tour Wardrobe Designer
Perry L. White is the costume designer who claims Chris Brown stiffed him for $10,000 after his work on Brown’s recent tour, Heartbreak On a Full Moon.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, White claims that Brown “has not paid me for wardrobe/clothing that I designed plus made for his tour.”

White posted a video earlier this year from Brown’s tour on Instagram celebrating his work.

On his website, White describes himself as an “exclusive” fashion designer, having worked with Queen Latifah, Macy Grey, Nicole Murphy, and E.J. Johnson. He has even collaborated with Prince,  Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, and LL Cool J. The documents say White is in possession of “contracts and receipts” to support his filing.
Brown has been involved in a slew of litigations this year, including fights with Nia Guzman, his baby mama, his former manager accusing him of withholding drug tests in their case, and even combating drug pushing allegations.

Brown plans to appeal the court’s decision.

Cardi B Pops Off On Haters Who Think Divorce Is A PR Stunt
Last week, Cardi B announced she and Offset were broken up and that they were getting a divorce, which set social media on fire being that days before the announcement the two were all loved up and kissy on stage.
Since the announcement, folks have been chiming on about the breakup and a lot of people feel like it's a publicity stunt, especially since she made the announcement a week before the Migos rapper releases his new album.

Well, Bardi says that's the farthest from the truth because she would NEVER put out bad press about her family for publicity.
The "I Like It" rapper hopped on her Instagram Live to chat to her fans and haters to clear up some things following the breakup announcement. The 26-year-old rapper said she REALLY hates how people are accusing her of using her relationship to make headlines.

She posted the video after Offset broke his silence about the split and new details about how he was trying to keep the threesome news on the low came out. More on that in a few.

In the video, Bardi addressed the rumors that the split is all a PR stunt:

"I really don't like how people are saying me and my husband - or whatever he is right now to me - are doing it for publicity," she said. "I wouldn't put my family in a bad name for no f*ckin' publicity because at the end of the day - 10 years from now - my daughter, she's going to be looking at these type of things and she's going to be asking me about these type of things. There's a kid involved, so ain't no type of publicity that I would ever want that will have my daughter looking at me crazy when she gets older. I don't even give a f*ck about publicity, so why would you f*ckin' think I would put my family in some bullsh*t?"

She then added, "I feel like I'm handling it pretty well. I'm doing pretty good."
The "Bodak Yellow" rapper then addressed the rumors about how their whole relationship was fake from the jump. She said she met this man, he was on her a**, she gave him a chance, and then "we fell in love with each other." She admitted things weren't always gravy, but they really did love each other.

"People do fall in love. We never did anything for f*ckin publicity b*tch. You think I would get pregnant for publicity? Think we want to put our life out there for what? What we gain from publicity? Nothing. People fall in love, people get married, people have kids. I don't regret anything. At the end of the day, I don't regret anything. I have my daughter."

As a newbie in the industry, she said Offset taught her alot about the business and she's grateful for that.
The "Be Careful" rapper also addressed her recent court appearance after two strip club bartenders accused her of ordering people in her camp to beat them down. She ended up copping misdemeanor reckless endangerment and assault charges
Bardi said court this week "was pretty cool" and that it's nothing like the blogs make it seem. She said she doesn't think the court thing is really that serious. She said she's from the hood, so this is nothing to her. Oh, ok.
Also, she addressed chicks who keep coming for her on social media. SHe said she has been seeing females subbing her on social media and she wants it to stop if they really don't want no smoke.

"Stop throwing subliminals if you don't want to throw the hands with me or my bitches because I hate that sh*t. Everybody want to sub me, but they don't want no smoke."
Maybe not the smartest statement to make at this time.
She went on to say she's not going to be subbing females back and forth. If they don't like her, she encouraged them to hit her on DMs and pick which one of her friends they want to fight because she has a lot of friends that like to throw hands. She said she's scared to throw hands now because "b*tches be wanting to sue me."

Ha.
In music news, she said her "Money" video should be coming out this week. And she also said she would like to work with Lil Kim. Not even on some petty mess, but she has always had love for Kim and would love to hop on track with her.

Kathie Lee Gifford Is Leaving The ‘Today Show’
NBC News chief Noah Oppenheim announced this morning that Kathie Lee Gifford has decided to exit Today show, where she has hosted the final hour of the four-hour franchise since 2008. Kathie Lee made it official to viewers during the broadcast.

Today celebrity correspondent Jenna Bush Hager, who returned to work Monday after taking a week off to mourn the death of her grandfather, President George H.W. Bush, and who often shows up on Hour 4,  is odds-on fave to replace Kathie Lee, though Hager already is doing heavy lifting on the Today hour recently vacated by Megyn Kelly.

But Gifford, while paying homage to her “beautiful Egyptian goddess” co-host Hoda Kotb during this morning’s traditional “bittersweet” on-air exit announcement, said only “I know somebody wonderful will be sitting in this seat afterwards” adding, “I have my idea of who might be absolutely wonderful –  but there is a great pool of talent and beauty and heart right within our family.”
Then, maybe thinking she’d said too much, Kathie Lee added, “And, if they come from outside the family they will soon become family, because you all treat everybody that way.”

Today show has a catastrophic recent history of bring in people “from outside the company” to host: aka Billy Bush, Megyn Kelly.

LeBron James, and Dwyane Wade meet for the last time for their Final Matchup!
LeBron James and Dwyane Wade met for the 31st time as opponents on Monday night as the Lakers beat the Heat 108–105 at the Staples Center in Los Angeles. The pair entered tied in their all-time head-to-head at 15–15, but LeBron took the rubber match.

Wade is expected to retire at the end of 2018-19. He announced his return to Miami on a one-year contract in September.
“I feel it’s right to ask you guys to ask you to join me for one last dance, for one last season,” Wade said in a video. “I’ve given this game everything that I’ve had, and I’m happy about that. And I’m gonna give it for one last season, everything I have.”

LeBron reflects on the friendship him and Wade created on and off the floor. He expresses his gratitude for Dwyane Wade making his move to Miami “seamless.” LeBron finishes by breaking down the final two possessions of guarding each other as they both shut each other down.

Meghan Markle breaks royal tradition again at British Fashion Awards
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are creating a new relaxed branch of the monarchy. Here are 7 times the royal couple have broken protocol.
Meghan Markle made a surprise appearance at the British Fashion Awards on Monday wearing a sleek one-shoulder black Givenchy dress — but it was her nail color that made headlines.
The Duchess of Sussex appeared at the awards show to present her wedding dress designer and Givenchy’s artistic director, Clare Waight Keller, the British Womenswear Designer of the Year award. Markle styled her baby bump-hugging velvet black dress with gold bracelets, metallic Tamara Mellon sandals and dark nail polish.

Her dark-colored nails caught many people’s attention because, although it’s not an official protocol, it’s widely known Queen Elizabeth II does not approve of colorful nail polish on members of the royal family, U.K.’s OK! Magazine previously reported.
Fake or colored nails are reportedly seen as “vulgar” in the royal family and wearing a more neutral shade is part of the royal etiquette.
Essie revealed the queen’s hairdresser sent the nail polish brand a letter in 1989 requesting the shade “Ballet Slippers,” a pale pink color with a sheer finish.
“[It’s] the only color Her Majesty would wear,” the brand stated.
Aside from the occasional red nail polish on her toes, Kate Middleton is usually seen donning neutral nail shades, following the unofficial protocol that’s been put in place.

Markle is known to make bold fashion choices that do not follow the royal protocol. She made headlines last November when she and Prince Harry stepped out for a photocall following their engagement announcement and was seen without nude tights. The royal family has a policy of women wearing pantyhose at official engagements.
“I would say that’s really the only hard, steadfast rule in terms of what the queen requires,” royal expert Victoria Arbiter said.
The Duchess of Sussex was first spotted with pantyhose at a party for Prince Charles’ 70th birthday in May, just days after she tied the knot.
Markle also broke royal protocol when she wore a Carolina Herrera dress that exposed her shoulders at her first Trooping the Colour. The tradition is for royal members to wear dresses that cover their shoulders.

#WTH?!? 'Sister Act 3' Is Headed To The Small Screen Without Whoopi Goldberg
Twenty five years after Sister Act 2: Back in the Habit became an instant comedy classic it looks like Sister Mary Clarence is moving on.

Whoopi Goldberg announced that she will not be reprising her role as the lovable lounge singer turned sassy nun in Disney’s  Sister Act 3 during an interview on Good Morning Britain.
The View moderator explained that the movie would reimagine the Sister Act series instead of continuing it.

“We’ve been all over Disney begging and they’ve decided that they’re going to go in a different direction with Sister Act. So it won’t be Sister Act 3, it’ll be a brand-new rendition of Sister Act,” Goldberg explained. “And I guess I’ll walk through a scene and that’s how they’ll say I was part of it.”
Variety reports that Sister Act 3 will appear exclusively on Disney’s new streaming service, Disney+, which is scheduled to launch in late 2019. The fresh version of the story will be created by Insecure co-executive producer Regina Hicks and Star show runner Karin Gist.

No information on who will be starring in the movie or how exactly Hicks and Gist will be revamping the storyline has been released just yet.

Would you watch?

The 2019 Oscars Might Not Have a Host At All
Despite the alleged “ultimatum” given to Kevin Hart amidst the outcry over his response to resurfaced offensive tweets, it seems the the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences didn’t have a back-up plan in mind when the actor-comedian quit as the 2019 Oscars host.

The Academy has been sent scrambling for a replacement in the wake of Hart’s departure, but some reports suggest that they may just go without a host at all for next year’s Oscar ceremony — something that hasn’t happened since the 1989 ceremony.

Variety reports that the Academy was “blindsided” by Hart’s departure and are scrambling for a replacement, as there was no contingency plan in place by the Academy or the ceremony’s broadcaster ABC. Though the usual ideas were thrown around such as a late-night host, the Academy is wary of hiring anyone “who might be too edgy.” But then there’s the opposite effect of a host who plays it too safe, which could cause those already record-low ratings to take a hit.

So the Academy is apparently considering going with no host at all. Variety writes:

Another option being tossed around is not having any host at all, but rather “a bunch of huge celebs, something ‘SNL’ style, and buzzy people” to keep the show moving, the insiders said. A stunt like a group monologue was floated, one source added.

A host-less Oscars would solve one of the ceremony’s biggest problems: the excessive runtime. With the number of categories to be awarded and the amount of celebrity presenters — not to mention joyless gimmicks — the Oscars more often than not go over their anticipated 3-hour run-times.

It wouldn’t be the first time the Oscars went without a host. The 1969, 1970, and 1971 ceremonies all aired without a host and without a hitch. Though the only following time the Oscars went host-less in 1989 resulted in the infamously disliked musical number with Rob Lowe and Snow White. So yes, while it’s super fun and not a waste of time at all to see Armie Hammer break out a hot dog cannon in bits like last year’s “regular people” Oscar sequence, maybe the 2019 Oscars could benefit from trimming the fat and going without a host.

Surely the Academy will come to a decision before the ceremony’s broadcast on February 24, 2019.

James Alex Fields Jr. Sentenced To Life In Prison For Murder Of Heather Heyer
Neo-Nazi James Alex Fields Jr. was sentenced Tuesday to life in prison for killing Heather Heyer in a vehicular attack in Charlottesville, Virginia, last year.
Fields was sentenced to one life term for the murder, along with 419 years for another nine charges, according to NBC Washington. The jury also recommended he be fined nearly half a million dollars. He still faces a federal hate crime case.

The 21-year-old extremist, who is associated with the hate group Vanguard America, was charged with first-degree murder and nine other felonies after he intentionally rammed his vehicle into anti-racist counterprotesters following the “Unite the Right” rally on Aug. 12, 2017, killing one and injuring dozens more. Fields was found guilty of all 10 charges on Friday, and faces 30 charges in a separate federal case concerning the same attack.

He reportedly showed no emotion during his sentencing.
On Monday, Heyer’s mother, Susan Bro, said in emotional testimony that Fields tried to silence an activist by killing her daughter.
“Heather was full of love, justice and fairness,” Bro said, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch. “Mr. Fields tried to silence her... I refuse to let him.”

During the trial, prosecutors showed evidence that Fields referred to Heyer as “that one girl who died, or whatever” and that he said her death “doesn’t fucking matter,” according to BuzzFeed. Days before the deadly rally in Charlottesville, he sent a photo of Adolf Hitler to his mother, along with the text, “We’re not the one [sic] who need to be careful.”

AND FINALLY FROM THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART FILES
‘HAVEN’T YOU HEARD?’
I was so distracted by what looks like a lady wrestling a bird that I overlooked the other bird just chillin’ on this guy’s hat. Don’t let one asshole distract you from another. That’s a good life lesson.
