#RHOA: Sheree Whitfield’s Jail-Bird Boyfriend isn’t coming home anytime SOON!
During the latest episode of The Real Housewives Of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield stated that her boyfriend would be getting out of prison pretty soon, in fact, later in the year. Tyrone Gilliams was previously scheduled to get out in 2018, but if reports are accurate, that might not be the case after all.
According to a report from BET.com, Tyrone’s request to get out of jail was shot down by the New York Federal Court. Gilliams wanted to get out early and petitioned the court for an early release, but it didn’t work out as planned.
RadarOnline claims Tyrone was put in prison for 120 months back in 2013 because of securities fraud and wire fraud charges. The organization claims he was supposed to get out later this year.
In 2016, his attempt to challenge his sentence was denied. Radar stated that in January of this year, Gilliams claimed the conviction was based on faulty evidence, including the charge that he was the leader of the group.
Tyrone also alleged that his lawyer was incompetent, leading to an unfair sentence. The man supposedly begged the court to let him out.
The judge, Deborah A. Batts, denied his March 20th filing because he didn’t offer any new evidence to corroborate his story.
He barely made a new case; he just shifted blame on to the other men he worked with and his supposedly “incompetent” lawyer. To make matters worse, Tyrone will be sitting in prison for even longer.
Gilliams will now get out on the 14th of November in 2022, making his sentence a little over four years. That’s a long time to sit in jail. It appears as though Sheree might have to get a new man after all unless she wants to wait forty-eight months.

The stars of "Empire" gave all 300 or so crew members a sweet jacket at the Season 4 wrap party, as a thank you for making the hit series possible ... According to TMZ.
Taraji P. Henson, Andre Royo, Bryshere Y. Gray, Gabourey Sidibe, Jussie Smollett, Ta’Rhonda Jones and Terrence Howard all went in together to buy about 300 bomber jackets as gifts for the crew ... according to our "Empire" sources.
The fly custom jackets are from Alpha Industries and go for $150 a pop, so if you do the math ... that's a lot of dough for the gifts. Each person who got one also received a tag from the cast saying, "With Love & Appreciation..."
The mid-season 4 premiere of "Empire" airs Wednesday night on FOX.
#MUSICNEWS: Monica Shares Her Thoughts On Working With Brandy Again
For quite some time, there has been this misconception that Brandy and Monica are at odds. Rumors that the R&B divas were beefin,’ originated with their classic song, “The Boy Is Mine.” While they both denied that there were any problems, it appeared that their song was life imitating art. Monica was allegedly mad that Brandy performed the song solo on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.” While Brandy was reportedly upset when Monica opted to take the name of the duet for the title of her second album. Sadly, that wasn’t the last of their alleged public beefs.
There has always been another elephant in the room when it comes to their relationship. It’s clear they’re not best friends, but definitely not enemies either. However, the ladies have thrown subtle shade towards one another over the years. At one point things even allegedly became violent between them in the late 1990’s, but neither of them have yet to thoroughly clarify that in public. After their second duet, “It All Belongs To Me,” released in 2012, their rumored feud seemed to be behind them. Throughout the years though, Brandy and Monica sparked more rumors of bad blood between them, by sometimes displaying that love-hate thing.
Recently, Monica sat down with ESSENCE Now studio ,where she shared whether or not she would ever work with Brandy again.
In an interview with ESSENCE Now Studio, Monica was asked if she would ever work with her alleged R&B rival, Brandy. Always a class act, Monica paid homage to Brandy placing her among the musical greats:
“Brandy is one of our greats, from that era,” Monica said.
Despite their rumored rivalry, Monica is all about the music. While she realizes that she and Brandy may never be able to duplicate the success that “The Boy Is Mine” garnered, there’s always room for more music. The mother of 3 spoke on why she believes “The Boy Is Mine” resonated with fans:
“You take two girls who are complete opposites, you blend them together and you make a record and you have Mekhi Phifer in the video— and the good part about it is, in the end, we turn on him. Girls collectively enjoyed not just the sound, but the visuals. That song was so well produced and created —because we didn’t know each other before we recorded it— but it automatically made people think and assume we did. And I think that comes with great production. Rodney Jerkins, LaShawn Daniels.. all of them were in this room and they were giving their ideas and they were young and just lively at heart. And I think they saw the vision when they created the record, so I’m just very fortunate that they brought me into it,” said Monica.
Monica has been a straight shooter and well respected in the industry. She’s been in the game a long time, with no plans of stopping. She’s currently working on new music and was asked if she would work with Brandy again:
“One thing about Brandy and I, I think there’s always room for us to work and do whatever we want to do or chose to do with each other. Always. I always tell people: We’re not trying to duplicate what we did before. We understand that that’s a moment in time. But when we make other music, we don’t want it to be the idea that we’re trying to re-do a that [‘The Boy Is Mine’].”

#HIPHOPNEWS: Rich The Kid Throws Jabs In Lil Uzi Vert Diss "Dead Friends"
A month after teasing a Lil Uzi Vert diss, Rich The Kid has officially dropped the track titled “Dead Friends.”
The DJ Mustard-produced song’s hook features references to two of Uzi’s biggest hits, “XO Tour Llif3” and “Money Longer.” Rich raps, “All them dead friends/You a middleman/You a little man/Your money getting shorter.”
Most of the track is centered around the Rich Forever boss’ boasts, but he also sends some shots such as “You niggas’ll change for fame, it’s a sad game.”
“Dead Friends” premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 Radio program on Monday (March 26), and the host asked Rich about the jabs at Uzi. The Atlanta rapper confirmed it’s a diss track despite noting that he recorded the song before their issues surfaced.
“I’m just letting people know how money changes people and how I stay with the money,” he said. “It’s funny. I made this song months before all that shit, so whatever darkness comes to light. You listen to the song, you know what’s going on.”
The two artists have exchanged barbs this year, with Rich recently claiming Uzi was trying to copy his style.
Although he doesn’t mention Uzi by name, Rich’s new track features a few bars that are subliminally aimed at the Philadelphia-based rapper.
“All them dead friends/ You a middleman/ You a little man,” Rich spits in reference to the chorus of Uzi’s hit song “XO Tour Llif3.”
Rich later raps, “Your money getting shorter,” a clear jab at Uzi’s double platinum-selling single “Money Longer.”
Britney Spears’ Dad Jamie Is Looking Into Ending Her Conservatorship
There may be a light at the end of the tunnel for Britney Spears’ conservatorship. According to sources the pop princess’ father, Jamie Spears, is looking into ending the court-approved order.
“Jamie is actively consulting with Britney’s medical team to determine if the conservatorship of Britney as the person should finally come to an end,” the insider says. “It’s just a question of timing as she is about to begin the tour, so the thinking is to do it at the conclusion.”
Britney, 36, is scheduled to kick off her Piece of Me world tour in Tokyo on June 3. She will travel across Asia, North America and Europe before the trek concludes in England on September 1.
The Grammy winner has been under the guidance of the conservatorship since 2008, after she was hospitalized for psychiatric evaluation in the wake of a highly publicized breakdown and divorce from Kevin Federline, with whom she shares sons Preston, 12, and Jayden, 11. The arrangement states that due to an undisclosed mental illness and past substance abuse, Britney cannot make personal or financial decisions without the approval of her father and lawyer Andrew Wallet.
“If anyone knew the real Britney, they would know that she would rather be remembered for being the great mother she is rather than the artist she is,” her ex-boyfriend David Lucado told The New York Times in May 2016. “And if anyone could see her interactions with her kids, they would know that there is no need for a conservatorship over Britney’s personal life.”
In recent years, Britney has accomplished plenty, including a four-year residency in Las Vegas. “She is feeling confident enough to take control of her life again,” a source told Us exclusively in February. “The progress Britney has made just in the last several years has been tremendous.”
Star Jones Marries Fiancé Ricardo Lugo on a Cruise Ship!
Star Jones is officially a married woman (again). The attorney and former panelist on The View wed her fiancé Ricardo Lugo on Sunday. They were engaged last summer.
The ceremony took place on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship in the Bahamas, according to a report from People. The service was attended by 150 of the couple's friends and family, including Tina Knowles-Lawson and former Real Housewives of Atlanta star Phaedra Parks.
Lugo, a graduate of University of Wisconsin Law School and Benedictine College, currently works as an attorney in the law office of Jeffery M. Leving, according to a January press release from the company. The firm specializes in helping fathers fight for custody of their children in a divorce. Lugo himself is divorced father of one son, named Jake.
The 56-year-old bride posted several photos to her Instagram page of the unforgettable cruise. "Yesterday was my birthday...and today is our wedding day at sea," she wrote in a caption.
According to a report from Us Weekly, Jones and Lugo first went public with their relationship in July 2016 at the 8th Annual Children’s Museum of the East End Family Affair in Bridgehampton, New York. The couple then quietly got engaged about a year later, confirming the news in October 2017.
"We're engaged. Not talking about it," Jones told Us at the time. "He’s wonderful. I’m happy and that’s all anybody outside of my family needs to know."
In addition to being a lawyer, Lugo is also the Chairman of the Spanish Action Committee of Chicago. According to the Chicago Tribune, he previously worked in the Cook County State’s Attorney’s Office not long before his engagement to Jones, as an assistant state's attorney. He was laid off, along with 16 other prosecutors, in August 2017 due to county budget cuts.
Jones was married once before, to investment banker Al Reynolds. They wed in November 2004, but announced plans to divorce in March 2008.

Giants Owner John Mara is sick and tired of questions about Odell Beckham Jr.’s behavior.
At the NFL owners meeting in Orlando this week, Giants owner John Mara told reporters that the video “wasn’t helpful” and seemed to resent the attention to it in the first place.
“I guess my response to that is I’m tired of answering questions about Odell’s behavior,” Mara said, per the New York Post. “He knows what’s expected of him, and now it’s up to him.
Beckham is slated to become a free agent following the 2018 season and could receive one of the largest contracts for a receiver in recent memory. Whether or not that’s going to happen in New York might be a premature debate, but it certainly seems like the two sides need to get back on the same page.
Gina Rodriguez To Star As Carmen Sandiego In Netflix’s Live-Action Feature
Viva The Latina is on fiya! The Golden Globe-winning actress Gina Rodriguez is set to produce and star as Carmen Sandiego in Netflix’s live-action feature film.
According to Deadline: She will produce Carmen Sandiego through her I Can and I Will productions alongside Kevin Misher and Caroline Fraser who will also produce. Misher’s Misher Films produced Miss Bala.
This is an extension of the brand as Netflix last year announced a new Carmen Sandiego animated series for 2019 with Rodriguez voicing the title character.

Birdman & Lil Wayne Reunite Again … So Could ‘Carter V’ Finally Be Dropping?
2018 just might be the year that the Carter V drops! Why you say? Because Lil Wayne and Birdman seem to be back on good terms, or at least it appears that way. Cameras caught Weezy and the Cash Money head-honcho at LIV night club in Miami on Sunday an from the looks of things they were even partying together.
Wayne was hosting the night along with Chris Brown, Floyd Mayweather, Von Miller, Fabolous and Yo Gotti. According to reports Birdman was there partying with a group of folks and Wayne stopped by his booth and hung out a for almost an hour.
When it was all over the duo snapped a photo together and apparently they are back on father and son status. Birdman posted the image with the caption: “Me & My SON.”
This is now the second weekend in a row they’ve run into each other at the Miami club. Sources told HH they have been speaking in recent weeks and are working on settling Wayne’s $51 million lawsuit and getting the “Carter V” finally released.
It’s a major step considering they have been embroiled in a legal battle over unpaid royalties since December 2014, and Wayne at one point had even written off his once mentor and father-figure
Stormy Daniels Bags Best ’60 Minutes’ Ratings Since Obamas’ Post-Election Sit-Down In ’08
Stormy Daniels’ 60 Minutes interview with Anderson Cooper drove the CBS newsmag to 21.3 million viewers, up +111% from last week and its most watched episode since Steve Kroft’s interview with Barack and Michelle Obama in November 2008, shortly after he was elected president.
That decade-old interview had attracted 24.5 million viewers, with all three segments devoted to the president-elect and his wife.
Previously this morning, Sunday’s 60 Minutes hit 16.3/27 in the 56 Nielsen metered markets – a big night for Stormy, being way up compared with previous Sunday’s 7.6/13. Back on November 16, 2008, the Obamas’ interview clocked a metered-marked 17.4/26.
Cooper’s taped interview with Daniels will repeat tonight on his CNN primetime show, AC360.
Interest in Daniels’ story had been running high for weeks, reaching the boiling point Sunday. Several hours after the interview wrapped, the porn star who claims to have had an affair with now-president Donald Trump still was No. 1 trending topic on Twitter in the United States.
In Sunday’s broadcast, Daniels for the first time described the threat she says a man made against her in 2011 in a Las Vegas parking lot, unless she dropped her story, after she had agreed to tell all to a tabloid.
Daniels also said for the first time that she wasn’t attracted to Trump, which some pundits had predicted might trigger a POTUS Twitter tirade this morning. She also claimed to have spanked the future President of the United States in his hotel suite the day she met him, using a magazine that had his face on the cover.
This morning, Trump tweeted, all-inclusively:
Daniels’ controversial and much-dissected two-segment sit-down with Cooper started about 35 minutes late on the East Coast, due to NCAA basketball game overrun.
In advance of Sunday’s broadcast, Daniels’ very media-savvy attorney, Michael Avenatti, worked overtime plugging the interview, while CBS News released just one maddening 10-second tease in which Daniels did not open her mouth and Cooper said he was unsure why she was doing the interview.
In the walk-up to Sunday’s taped interview, there had been much speculation as to whether it would join the pantheon of “most watched” news interviews.
