Aretha Franklin Cancels Upcoming Concerts Due to Health Concerns!
Aretha Franklin has decided to cancel her two upcoming concerts at the request of her doctor.
The 75-year-old entertainer was set to perform at her 76th birthday party on March 25 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center before headlining the 2018 New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in late April.
“Aretha Franklin has been ordered by her doctor to stay off the road and rest completely for at least the next two months,” Aretha’s team said in a statement. “She is extremely disappointed she cannot perform at this year’s New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival as she had expected and hoped to.”
