Dawson’s Creek Cast Reunites in 20th Anniversary Photos for Entertainment Weekly!
The cast of Dawson’s Creek has reunited and fans everywhere can’t get enough! We no longer have to wait for our lives to be over to see Dawson, Pacey, Joey and Jen back together once again. While your favorite ’90s cast members aren’t reuniting on the small screen, they did get together to celebrate the twentieth anniversary of one of television’s most groundbreaking tv series.
Dawson’s Creek was one of the first television shows to give us teenagers dealing with real world problems, and who oftentimes spoke more like adults that adolescents. The show also gave us an authentic – if slightly exaggerated – version of high school drama that fans couldn’t get enough of. The series ran from 1998 to 2003 on The WB and made its cast instant stars and household names. Dawson’s Creek focused on the lives of budding filmmaker Dawson Leery and his friends as they navigated growing up and growing apart. The show mixed typical coming of age drama with romance and sometimes scandal, in order to create one of television’s most loved and memorable shows.
To celebrate the 20th anniversary, Entertainment Weekly has gathered the original cast including James Van Der Beek (Dawson Leery), Joshua Jackson (Pacey Witter), Katie Holmes (Joey Potter), Michelle Williams (Jen Lindley), Busy Phillips (Audrey Liddell), Kerr Smith (Jack McPhee), Meredith Monroe (Andie McPhee), and Mary Beth Peil (Evelyn “Grams” Ryan) for the first time since the show went off the air. “I think we’ve all sort of seen each other over the years, but not everybody all together,” Holmes told EW about the reunion photos. Creator Kevin Williamson also chimed in, adding that their reunions never last long enough even when they do happen – saying, “I run into James and Josh, Katie, Michelle, and I just get a big smile on my face. It’s just a very, very special time in my life.”
Fans of the show have grown up with the characters and with all seasons currently streaming on Hulu, Dawson’s Creek has earned an entirely new fan base as well. Parents who were once fans are now introducing their own kids to Capeside, creating a growing popularity amongst an entirely new generation. Actress Meredith Monroe, who played Andie McPhee, told EW that part of the magic of the show was where it was filmed. “It was like growing up together,” she said. “I felt like I was so grateful that it was shooting in Wilmington. We all got to really connect in a way that I don’t think we would have had we been in New York or L.A.”
Dawson’s Creek was known as much for its dialogue as it was for not holding back when it came to its storylines. While other teen-centric shows were more focused on the lifestyles of the rich and famous, the residents of Capeside were dealing with everything from having a parent in jail to students having affairs with teachers to heartbreaking love triangles. It was a show where teenagers often delivered intense monologues that changed the way teens spoke on television. Joshua Jackson spoke about how important it was for the characters to have those meaningful dialogues saying, “Kevin never insulted the audience and never insulted [the actors] by dumbing us down. I loved that part.”
The EW cover story is definitely causing fans to fall down the nostalgia rabbit hole while they hope and pray that someone, somewhere will make a reboot of Dawson’s Creek happen despite the fact that Williams’ character was killed off in the show’s finale. “It would have to be a reinvention of sorts,” Van Der Beek said when asked about the possibility of a reboot. Holmes seems content to just leave things be, saying “What I love about this show is that it existed at a time pre-social media, pre-internet, and it was nostalgic when we were shooting it. So I really like it where it is, to be honest.” Kevin Williams shot down the idea of a reboot created by him, but did admit he’d be ok with someone else at the helm:
“Dawson’s Creek was me expressing myself at that point in time. And here I am, at another age, at another point in time. I don’t know what I could emotionally bring to the table. I can’t wait for someone else to do it. I don’t think it’s going to be me. But I’ll be happy to watch it.”
The full set of Dawson’s Creek reunion photos will be available when the next issue of Entertainment Weekly hits stands on Friday.

#RHoA Brielle Comes for NeNe’s RoachGate: 'No Roaches Over Here!'
Girl have a seat Brielle Biermann is trying to fuel #RoachGate once again.
The 21-year-old daughter of Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Zolciak Biermann made a reference to their feud with NeNe Leakes on her Instagram Story Wednesday when the Biermann household was visited by the Orkin pest control company.
“We have Orkin come every now and then. He comes regularly. Good to see you again,” Brielle said in the footage as she zoomed in on the inspector. “No roaches over here!”
#RoachGate first started in October 2017 when Kim and Brielle visited Leakes’ home and allegedly found cockroaches in her bathroom. An old video resurfaced showing the Don’t Be Tardy reality star filming what appeared to be black bugs.
Soon after, Leakes slammed the mother-daughter pair, claiming “prejudice.”
In the comments section of a separate Instagram account, Leakes called the duo “racists.”
“@briellebiermann We don’t have roaches! If you found 1, u brought it with u or it fell outta yo funky p—y! Please know I will get You all the way together when you start f—ing with me and mine!” Leakes wrote in a since-deleted post.
“Kim & her daughter oops whole family are racists! What her daughter did at my home, (which she nor kim were invited to so be clear abt that as well) was pure disgusting, racist, learned behavior etc,” Leakes wrote, adding, “children are NOT off limits when you allow your child to talk to adults any kind of way, post disrespectful things on social media and so on. Kim is a calculating bio polar racist with a horrible mouth, who uses black folks for her come up.”
Zolciak Biermann jumped to her daughter’s defense shortly after on Instagram, writing, “Nene has said and done some things that are absolutely disgusting, however I will take the high road as you will see it on the show soon enough, but you WILL NOT make it seem as though my daughter did ANYTHING wrong! She never posted this video nor would she!”
The feud over roaches has also played out on the current tenth season of RHOA. Brielle’s Orkin reference comes ahead of the season finale, airing Sunday, during which Leakes and her husband Gregg dress up in a “Roach Pest Control” outfit and a cockroach costume, respectively.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.
#EMPIRE: Five Things to Expect from Empire Season 4
Season 4 of Empire seems to be shaping up to be a return to some sense of normalcy but with the twist that things are going to change just enough to let people know that a very big shift has occurred. After all things have been happening at such a pace that Lucious is no longer the man he once was and could possibly be moving away from that role as much as possible, if only to make others around him wonder just what’s going on. Whether he’s a new man or not is going to be something that only he’ll know for while yet.
It’s going to be an interesting season.
5. They’ll be paying tribute to Prince.
There’s been word that a Prince song will be played during the season that will pay respects to the fallen icon. This is something that a lot of shows have done since Prince passed on, and it’s been touching how much regard so many have managed to give the world famous star. His life was an inspiration to a lot of people and it just seems right that he would show up on a show like this, at least for a brief moment.
4. Forrest Whitaker can sing.
Forrest will show off the fact that he has a set of pipes on him this season and will also emerge as a mentor to Lucious once again, as he was already a mentor to a younger Lucious back in the day. The greatest thing is that there’s already chemistry between Forrest and Terrence Howard since the two have known each other for some time. That makes everything a little smoother since they know how to react to one another.
3. Lucious is back to his old self.
The amnesia that he’s finally overcome seems to have made him into a much more docile and decent person, but now that he’s beginning to remember things it could be that he will go back to his old ways. However it could be that he’ll change just enough to become what might be an estimate of a good man. It’s a hard thing to tell since Lucious is quite adept at making people believe what he wants them to.
2. We’re going to see a new side of Cookie.
As the new CEO you might not see her jumping across a table at anyone again but you will certainly see her telling people how it is just like always. Cooke is not a nice person when it comes time to conduct business and that’s not bound to change. But now that she’s in charge she’ll likely have to be much more calm and reserved in how she deals with people. Look for her to shred them as much as is possible from a verbal standpoint at least.
1. The focus is returning to the Lyon family.
There have been a lot of guest stars on the show and a lot of fans feel that this has taken away from the story. In this season the focus will be placed back on the Lyon family in an attempt to bring them back into the main part of the story.
It should be a wild season for Empire....Fasten your seat belts!

Vivica A. Fox Lands New CBS Talk Show called ‘Face The Truth’
Vivica A. Fox is heading back to the small screen. The actress and producer inked a deal with CBS Television Distribution to host a new syndicated talk show.
According to reports, the show will be called “Face The Truth” and is described as a “conflict-resolution yakker” in which guests reveal their problems to a panel of experts in related subjects who aim to provide constructive feedback. The studio audience will then get the chance to weigh in and vote on who’s at fault in the situation.
Panelists set to appear on the show include “Bar Rescue” host Jon Taffer, attorney and advocate Areva Martin, psychologist Dr. Judy Ho, and actress/life coach Rosie Mercado.
The show was created by producer Jay McGraw’s Stage 29 Productions, home of the syndicated series “The Doctors” and “DailyMailTV.” McGraw, Carla Pennington, Patricia Ciano, and Phil McGraw are executive producers.
“‘Face the Truth’ is a fresh addition to the television landscape,” said Jay McGraw, “We have an incredibly talented cast with strong opinions who deliver a show that is entertaining, informative and highly watchable.”
Apparently “Face the Truth” has been in development for some time and after NBCUniversal announced that it was canceling “Harry”, CBS saw an opportunity to capitalize on those viewers with a new fresh show.
The series is set to debut this fall and will air on 10 CBS-owned stations, including the Eye’s outlets in New York and Los Angeles.
Fox whose book “Every Day I’m Hustling” is slated for release in April, also has a slew of films releasing this year including Mr. Malevolent, Sharknado 6 and Caretakers.

Jeremy Meeks and Girlfriend Chloe Green Expecting First Child
Millionaire heiress Chloe Green is pregnant with Jeremy Meeks‘ baby, multiple sources confirm to Us Weekly. Meeks, 34, and the TopShop heiress began dating last summer while he was still married to his baby mama, Melissa.
Meek’s estranged wife filed for divorce the same day he and Green were spotted cuddled up on a yacht in St. Barts.
The baby is Green’s first. Meeks shares a 9-year-old son, Jeremy Jr., and 2 stepchildren with Melissa.
“Chloe and Jeremy are very much in love and she thinks they will get engaged at some point,” a source told Us Weekly.
Meeks gained overnight fame when his mugshot went viral on social media in 2014. Thirsty women dubbed him “felon bae” and “prison bae”.
After serving two years on robbery charges, Meeks was swamped with modeling and TV offers. He signed a lucrative deal with White Cross Management modeling agency. He purchased a home and a white Maserati for himself.
Last week Meeks agreed to pay to Melissa $1,000 a month in child support retroactive to Nov. 1, 2017. A judge granted the two joint custody of his son.
NFL facing looming Kaepernick redux as fellow kneeler Eric Reid remains unsigned
ORLANDO — The offseason presses on for the NFL. And with it, the undone nature of player protests and what kind of long-term resolution remains on the table – if any. But with the league’s annual meeting in Orlando wrapping on Wednesday, a more pressing point is coming to the forefront that could present yet another befuddling public relations problem for NFL commissioner Roger Goodell.
Colin Kaepernick is completely off the NFL grid and his collusion case against the league has shifted into a full-court press of depositions. The issue of anthem kneeling is still lingering, with some owners clearly still adamant that such protests come to an end. But one new wrinkle in this continued PR nightmare of the league is becoming more prominent: former San Francisco 49ers strong safety Eric Reid can’t get any traction whatsoever in free agency.
When pressed for whether Reid’s nonexistent market is sending yet another message to players – intended or unintended – Goodell’s stance shaped up like the familiar shrug that he has consistently delivered regarding Kaepernick’s unemployment.
“Guys, I’ve said this repeatedly to you: the 32 teams make their individual decisions on the players that they think are going to best help their franchises,” Goodell said Wednesday. “Those are decisions that they have to make. They do that every day. They do that in the best interests of winning and putting the best franchises together. They’ll make those decisions. I’m not directly involved with those.”
In light of the collusion Kaepernick is already alleging in his own circumstance, the nonexistent pursuit of Reid by NFL teams has certainly been raising eyebrows amongst players and agents since free agency began two weeks ago. Particularly given the reality that Reid not only kneeled with Kaepernick in San Francisco, but also repeatedly suggested that Kaepernick’s employment should have been a part of the platform negotiated between owners and a player’s coalition over the last six months.
Prior to free agency, Reid wondered whether his support of Kaepernick or anthem kneeling might cost him a job in the NFL. And when he was greeted with a flat market, he indicated on Twitter that the problem was in the ownership ranks – not among football evaluators.
“GMs aren’t the hold up broski. It’s ownership,” Reid tweeted on March 15, speculating on potential issues in free agency. “People who know football know who can play. People who know me, know my character.”
That Reid remains unemployed is notable for a variety of reasons. Not only is he a 26-year-old former first-round pick who made a Pro Bowl as a rookie in 2013, he’s considered (at worst) to be an above-average starter at his position amongst NFL evaluators. He’s also gotten the endorsement of some of the best safeties in the NFL – including the Philadelphia Eagles’ Malcolm Jenkins and New England Patriots’ Devin McCourty – who have each expressed dismay that Reid has gone weeks in free agency without interest from teams.
Both Jenkins and McCourty have said publicly they believe Reid’s lack of a free-agent market is due to his being outspoken about social justice and supporting Kaepernick. The proof of that – beyond the reality of Reid’s skill set being deserving of a job – is elusive, largely for the same reasons it has been difficult to prove that the league colluded against Kaepernick. Like Kaepernick, there has been no “smoking gun” to suggest flatly that teams aren’t signing Reid because of his previous activism or his support of a player who is accusing the NFL of a conspiracy.
There’s also the reality that the safety market has been oddly flat in this free agency, suggesting that Reid is feeling the same frosty reception as others at his position. To that point, former Packers safety Morgan Burnett signed a relatively modest three-year, $14.3 million deal with the Pittsburgh Steelers, and former Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu took a fairly cut-rate one-year deal for $7 million from the Houston Texans. Another solid starter – the New Orleans Saints Kenny Vaccaro – has also yet to sign in free agency.
Chris Brown Still Pining for Karrueche Tran Three Years Later
It’s already been three years since Karrueche Tran broke up with Chris Brown after he fathered a love child with Nia Guzman. Since then, he’s been spotted with several other women, while Tran has recently started dating former New York Giant Victor Cruz.
Many would probably think that three years is plenty of time for the R&B star to get over his former flame, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. At least according to a couple of messages that he posted, especially one in particular.
In one of them, Brown shared a photo of Tran and Cruz and had something kind to say about them. “They look really good together,” he wrote in the now-deleted message.
But it was the singer’s second post that seemed to indicate that he still pines for his ex, even though she’s moved on and looks content these days.
“Want you to be happy even if it hurts me. Little foot,” he wrote. Brown then added two Taurus emojis to his message, since he and Tran share the same astrology sign.
At this point, it’s not surprising that the “Claws” actress hasn’t responded to her ex’s messages since she was granted a five-year restraining order against him in 2017. So the fact that Brown actually wrote about her on social media may seem risky to some.
In fact, Wendy Williams said Brown violated the restraining order with the two posts, and Tran should now contact the police.
“Karrueche if I were you I’d definitely call the cops and have them involved,” she stated. “Victor Cruz, if I were you I’d definitely be watching my kneecaps because Chris Brown seems so lunatic. He seems like one of those kind of guys, ‘If I can’t have you then neither can the Giants’ … Smack him in the knees end his career. Scary, real scary.”
From here, we’ll have to see if Tran actually does pursue legal action for Brown’s post, or if she just ignores it and moves on.
Aaron Judge Is The Latest Athlete To Sign To Adidas, As The Three Stripes’ Influence Grows
adidas has its pulse on the culture right now. The sneaker conglomerate has locked down Pharrell Williams and Kanye West, traveled across the pond to link up with Stormzy, and dominate the court with the help of James Harden, Andrew Wiggins, and Kristaps Porzingis. Now the quest to own the baseball field continues with the signing of New York Yankee slugger Aaron Judge.
Tuesday morning, the three stripes took to Twitter to announce the latest member of the family— and judgment day is here, as the 25-year-old Yanks star joins the likes of Kris Bryant and Carlos Correa.
Judge told Sports Illustrated that he never thought he’d sign an endorsement deal this early in his career as he hasn’t even been in the majors for a year, but he’s excited.
“The coolest part is that they’re not all about sports, and that was so clear in one of my first meetings with them. They’re about lifestyle and showing who I was and who I am as a person. It’s what made the choice easy,” Judge said. He’s ready to go even harder in the upcoming season and prove his success wasn’t a fluke.
And adidas is out to prove that the resurgence is no fluke either— the three stripes are here to stay. The German-born company has the rock—and growing market share— right now. Thanks to the ever-evolving nature that is fashion, what was cool is now cool again.
“The fashion cycle we are in, which is casual and retro, plays to their sweet spot,” says Matt Powell, NPD Group’s sports industry analyst. The adidas Superstar has gone from being the show of choice for Run-DMC to everyone’s go-to staple, as the simplistic and equally as affordable Stan Smith has become a cool factor. Its stock price can’t be ignored either. adidas has seen a steady growth over the past few years that can’t be disputed. The growth first became disruptive and apparent in 2016, when adidas sales growth outpaced both Nike and Under Armour. The attention to sustainability, like recently revealing it has sold more than one million pairs of sneakers made of ocean plastic.
The attention paid to the disruptors in culture is being recognized and appreciated, with commercials featuring the likes of Kendall Jenner, James Harden, 21 Savage, Young Thug, and Playboi Carti. The three stripes are doing it their way and so are people joining the family— just ask Kanye West who made the move from the Swoosh to adidas and has even outfitted his Yeezy collection with Boost technology.
The brand offered him more money than we did. “He took our offer because we offered him full creative reign,” explained adidas Global Director of Entertainment Jon Wexler on Twitter. Kanye isn’t the only mega rap star to ponder switching sides— allegedly Drake is, too, as he’s “looking for an exit and a new deal that would afford him more creative control.” While no party involved in the matter has made comment, he was spotted rocking a pair of Yeezy boots in early March.
While Nike is still the No. 1 sports brand in the United States, adidas is swinging and not missing. Besides, the real winner when it comes to brand competition is customers.

Kid Who Hugged Cop In Viral Protest Photo Feared Dead In Family Car Plunge off Cliff!
A boy who hugged a cop in a photo that went viral amid national unrest over police shootings was missing after his family’s SUV plunged off a cliff in Mendocino County, California, killing at least five, according to the sheriff.
Mendocino County Sheriff Tom Allman on Wednesday identified the deceased parents as Jennifer and Sarah Hart, both 38, of Woodland, Washington, who were found still inside the upside-down car in shallow water. The bodies of three of their adopted children, 19-year-old Markis, 14-year-old Jeremiah and 14-year-old Abigail were recovered nearby.
Allman believes the boy from the viral photo, Devonte, 15, and two other siblings, Hannah, 16, and Sierra, 12, were also passengers in the vehicle when it plummeted into the ocean on Monday. Calls to 9-1-1 alerted police.
The viral moment when Devonte Hart and a police officer hugged at a demonstration.
“We know that an entire family vanished,” Allman said at a news conference Wednesday.
Despite reports of turmoil in the family, Allman said law enforcement believes the tragedy was an accident.
In 2014, Devonte provided a unifying moment amid nationwide demonstrations after a police officer escaped indictment for fatally shooting teenager Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri. At a protest in Portland, Oregon, a police officer saw Devonte, then 12, holding a “Free Hugs” sign and asked to share an embrace.
The two hugged, and the image of the black child and white officer became a sensation on social media.
