Whoa, Baby! is often hilarious and always honest and down-to-earth. Readers will empathize with the candid unglamorous experiences of parenting. From falling asleep with the pump on to swollen legs and lack of sleep, Rowland and Dr. Bickman cover every surprising challenge that new moms face.

#RHoA: Did Phaedra Parks Lie About Finalizing her Divorce from Apollo?
HMMMMMM, Last month, Phaedra Parks went on Entertainment Tonight and revealed she's officially single.  She said her divorce from Apollo is final and she's ready to move on with her life.
Interestingly, no one could find any documentation to back that up.  Now, Apollo is calling her bluff.
When he filed for divorce from jail the other day, it took most folks by surprise since Phaedra has already said the divorce was filed for and final.  Not so much, apparently.

TMZ reports: Apollo filed his divorce petition in Georgia on Thursday ... requesting joint legal custody of their 2 children and an equitable split of their assets. He says they separated in June 2014 after nearly 5 years of marriage.
In the docs, he says they can no longer live together as husband and wife and the union is "irretrievably broken." He doesn't mention the fact he's doing 8 years in a federal pen for financial fraud.

The site says they were unable to find documentation that Phaedra had previously filed.
So did she lie?

Oh No! L Kanye West is being Kept Away From His Kids
Earlier this week news leaked that Kanye West had been released to his wife Kim Kardashian's care after leaving the hospital following an eight day stay in the psychiatric ward at UCLA Medical Center.
Turns out that's not quite the case... Insiders tell X17
"Kanye wanted to just come back home after he left the hospital, but both Kim and his doctors thought it was best for him to stay at an alternate location."
"His doctors wanted him to be focused solely on his recovery, which couldn't be done in a house full of people and staffers. Kim wanted to shield the kids from finding out that anything was wrong with their dad. Saint is obviously too young to grasp what's going on, but North isn't."
Meanwhile rumors are swirling that Kim and Kanye's marriage has reached its breaking point.

Trombonist Jeff Bradshaw stricken with rare disease, loses 50 pounds
Trombonist Jeff Bradshaw has been confronted with a devastating illness. He is hoping to raise awareness for his plight as well as funds for his growing medical costs due to diverticulitis, a condition in which small, bulging pouches develop in the digestive tract.

“I was in rehearsal some weeks back with Carol Riddick, Will Downing, Jeff Veasley and experienced pain in my abdomen and couldn’t play. I was rushed to the hospital and did CAT scans and blood tests. I was told an abscess had formed in my intestines. It has been a journey. I have lost 50 pounds,” he says during an interview with Quincy Harris on Philly’s FOX29. “I am fighting, man, I am fighting.”

Bradshaw has been dazzling the music world for the past 25 years. He is one of the go-to guys for horn players in the music biz. He’s collaborated with everyone from Michael Jackson and Jay Z to Erykah Badu, Jill Scott and Kirk Franklin. Bradshaw’s dad was a trombonist and his son also plays. He has played a significant role in neo-soul revolution in Philly along with The Roots, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Jill Scott, King Britt and others. He has collaborated with the Roots for years and calls them brothers. In fact last year he performed with the Roots on The Tonight Show in support of his newest CD, HOME.

Bradshaw was just diagnosed with a severe and unusual case of diverticulitis disease. This illness has caused major intestinal challenges for Bradshaw who was recently hospitalized and who will have to undergo numerous intensive treatments.

“God is able. I can complain and I say [don’t] have medical insurance. The GoFundMe page JeffLiveJeff was the idea of my big sister Jill Scott, who said to me, ‘You’ve given so much to so many people and you’ve given so much on stage to so many artists. It is time for some of that love to come back.’ I didn’t want to do it. I didn’t want people to think Jeff Bradshaw who has recorded this and that, why does he need help? I thought about all the millionaires who are no longer millionaires, who are down. I thought about all the people who have been so high in life who are now down. Everybody gets to ride that train. Fortunately for me, so many of my peers and colleagues are coming together to help me with these mounting medical bills,” Bradshaw says.

We have come together to launch this GoFundMe page on behalf of our dear brother, friend and beloved Artist/Musician Jeff Bradshaw. He has been diagnosed with a severe and unprecedented case of Diverticulitis Disease. This disease has caused major intestinal challenges which now require Jeff to undergo a long series of intense treatments which now have spawned into deeper intestinal conditions. These treatments are very expensive and with little to no insurance, our friend cannot receive the care that he needs.
Jeff has shared his musical talents with the community, churches, Jazz fans, and other artists world wide for over 24 years. His music spreads joy and love in so many places. If you know Jeff, you know he plays with his heart and soul and touches all with his amazing gift! That’s why we are asking you to help us, help Jeff Bradshaw, in his time of great need.

Bradshaw’s newest recording HOME is a Philadelphia homecoming of sorts recorded at the Kimmel Cener. It is executive produced by two-time Grammy winner Robert Glasper and features performances by Glasper as well as Black Thought, Marsha Ambrosius, Will Downing, Kim Burrell, Take 6, Najee, Bilal, Eric Roberson, Tweet, Kenny Lattimore and Trombone Shorty. The album was recorded live at the acclaimed Kimmel Center in Philadelphia — Jeff’s hometown. As a boy, he used to play outside in brass bands right around the corner from the Kimmel Center. Bradshaw’s new CD is like coming full circle and is a dream come true.

Bradshaw admits that his diet over the years contributed to his illness. “You need to have a high-fiber diet. We have been on the road for 20 years eating fast foods. I won’t say don’t eat red meat. I didn’t eat a lot of fiber. I eat Philly Cheesesteaks, hoagies, Italian subs. Make sure you eat a salad a day, fresh vegetables. I am no longer eating fried foods, red meat and pork,” he explains.

There will be a benefit concert in January 2017.

Derek Lam, Marc Jacobs & Phillip Lim don’t want to dress Melania Trump either
You know what truly surprises me? That this whole “will designers agree to dress Melania Trump?” thing has turned into a major story. Who would have thought that Sophie Theallet’s letter – wherein she announced her refusal to work with Melania and encouraged other designers to make the same choice – would be the talking-point in the VENN diagram of politics, celebrity and fashion? We already know how Theallet feels, and we already know how Tom Ford feels (he refused to dress Melania YEARS ago). We also heard that Tommy Hilfiger was up for dressing Melania, should she choose to go that way. Now Women’s Wear Daily contacted other American designers to see what they had to say.

Diane von Furstenberg: Donald Trump was elected and he will be our president. Melania deserves the respect of any first lady before her. Our role as part of the fashion industry is to promote beauty, inclusiveness, diversity. We should each be the best we can be and influence by our example.

Marc Jacobs: I have no interest whatsoever in dressing Melania Trump. I didn’t see [Sophie Theallet’s] letter. Personally, I’d rather put my energy into helping out those who will be hurt by [Donald] Trump and his supporters.”

Cynthia Rowley: In the midst of this heated debate, the question actually seems somewhat irrelevant. She can simply purchase whatever she wants, so how can we control it? Just because she’s shown wearing a designer does not mean that designer is endorsing her, her husband or any of their beliefs. Checking someone’s ethical beliefs before they’re allowed to purchase, sets up an exclusionary dynamic that feeds into the exact mentality that is preventing us from moving forward in a positive direction. Some people say fashion and politics should never mix, but when given the choice, I think you should address and dress your conscience.

Thom Browne: Out of respect for the position of the first lady of our United States, I would be honored to be considered to design for any first lady of the United States.

Derek Lam: What a tough question to answer now that the election has been decided! I’ve been slammed on social media when expressing an opinion about the election outcome. I was warned by people that I should not make an opinion which could alienate a client. Having been duly warned, my response is, while I have incredible respect for our country’s political institutions, I find it challenging to be personally involved in dressing the new first lady. I would rather concentrate my energies on efforts towards a more just, honorable and a mutually respectful world. I don’t know Melania Trump personally, so I don’t wish my comments to seem I am prejudging her personal values, but I really don’t see myself getting involved with the Trump presidency.

Phillip Lim: It’s been such an emotional roller coaster of an election process. The result has only confirmed my belief that we must stand for what we represent as a brand, so my sentiment is still the same. As a global brand, we are always looking to partner with individuals that we have authentic relationships with — ultimately, women and men that share similar set of values, desires and ideologies: inclusion, diversity, justice, consciousness, innovation…. With that said, we do not have a current relationship with Mrs. Trump and I don’t foresee a relationship developing under the Trump administration.

Vera Wang: We have not been contacted by the Trump campaign or administration thus far. But the first lady-elect should support American fashion, as did her predecessors.
[From WWD]
I think Cynthia Rowley makes a very interesting point, which is that Melania could simply go out and buy a Tom Ford dress and tell everyone that she’s wearing Tom Ford and what could he do about it? Nothing. Because you really can’t control who buys your products, you can only control who you agree to “dress,” as in you can only control who you work with, the bespoke items you might create for the FLOTUS, and whether or not you want to exert some control over the “style” of the sitting First Lady. Now, that being said, I think ultimately most American designers will refuse to create looks for Melania or work with her in any way. She might choose to wear those designers’ clothes off-the-rack anyway, and if so, that’s the way the cookie crumbles. But I think for her few public appearances – because I am growing more and more certain that Melania will be mostly invisible as FLOTUS – she will probably go with the few designers who agree to dress her, whether or not they’re American.

SADNESS: Oakland fire kills at least 30 people at warehouse party.
It is always something. At least 30 people died and authorities said they feared the toll could rise as high as 40 in a fire that broke out during a rave at a converted warehouse in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Oakland fire chief Teresa Deloche-Reed said at least another 25 people were unaccounted for as of Saturday morning and authorities were working to verify who was in the cluttered warehouse when the fire broke out around 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Alameda County Sheriff’s Office spokesman Sgt. Ray Kelly said authorities were prepared to deal with 30 to 40 deaths.
Between 50 and 100 people were believed to have been at the party when the fire started, Deloche-Reed said. It was not immediately clear what started the fire, but there did not appear to be sprinklers in the building, she said.

Did Mariah Carey Exposes Herself to Papparazzi?
Yikes!
Mariah Carey has sure suffered so many wardrobe malfunctions these days. Less than a week after she had a nip-slip in a bikini during a beach trip with her new boy toy Bryan Tanaka, the 46-year-old now flashed her bare crotch when stepping out with a mystery man in New York City on Thursday night, December 1.

Mimi was pictured leaving Philippe Chow restaurant in a cleavage-baring bedazzled short dress that she paired with a black leather jacket, pointed heels and some diamond necklaces. As she chose to skip underwear, the songbird's private part was totally visible under the tan fishnet stockings.
She didn't seem to care, though. She smiled at paparazzi while continuing to strut her stuff on the street alongside the man, who opted for more casual look in a black jacket over a shirt and pants of the same color.
Carey took a break from her new dancer boyfriend Tanaka to have a dinner date with the mystery dude as she was gearing up for the Sunday, December 4 premiere of her highly-anticipated E! docu-series "Mariah's World".

Recently, Piers Morgan slammed the "We Belong Together" hitmaker in a Daily Mail article, accusing her of staging her nip-slip earlier this week to attract more viewers.
