The Daily Buzz For July 15

Dwayne Johnson is The Highest Paid Actor he says ‘Greatness Is Never Achieved Alone'
Who would’ve ever thought that Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson would go from wrestling every week for the WWE to becoming the world’s highest paid actor?

The action hero earned the honor of Forbes’ highest-paid actor on their annual Highest Paid Celebrities list, racking up a cool $64.5 million this past year.

Speaking on his new title, The Rock shared some poignant words on Instagram.
This is what he had to say below!
“The wolf is always scratchin’ at the door” was the first thing I said when we found out from @forbes I was officially the world’s highest paid actor. Well, actually the first thing I said was “Aw shit!”, then I said the wolf part. Receiving news like this will always serve as my anchoring reminder to continue to work even harder. We not only want to “embrace the grind”, but take the grind to new levels. I learned a few invaluable lessons a long time ago that can help all of you guys out there succeed at whatever it is you’re doing. Greatness is never achieved alone. Surround yourself with hungry, brilliant individuals who not only buy into your philosophy, but who are all willing to work just as hard as you. Power of teamwork. And don’t ever forget where you came from. I was evicted at 14yrs old and completely broke by 23. Every day I wake up as if that eviction notice is right around the corner waiting for me.. which is why I always say, “the wolf is always scratchin’ at the door”. He’s scratchin’ cause he’s hungry and never satisfied. We embrace and respect our past (even if it was f*cked up), but we never let it define our future. Let’s stay hungry and chase that greatness. I will now jump in my pick up truck, go to work and figure out whether or not I need psychiatric therapy for this damn wolf that’s become my best friend. #Celeb100 #SevenBucksProductions #HardestWorkersInTheRoom #1WolfOnThePlanet

Congrats!

RHoA: Oh? Kenya Moore Kicks Porsha Williams Out of Her Housewarming Party!
OH MY! Kenya Moore threw longtime enemy Porsha Williams out of her Georgia mansion at a recent housewarming party.
The 35-year-old reality star and castmate Phaedra Parks arrived to the party extremely late and that’s when the drama began.
“Kenya got really nasty really quickly with Porsha,” an insider reveals. “She told her she was not invited into her home and that she had to go immediately."

“Porsha didn’t leave right away, so Kenya went over again and told her to go," the source continues.
Surprisingly, there was no further resistance from Porsha, who famously knocked Kenya to the ground and dragged her by the hair during RHOA’s violent Season 6 reunion.
“The housewarming party was filmed for the upcoming season,” dishes an insider, so Kenya “just had to amp up the drama factor with Porsha.”

CHILE……..They at it already!

Tarajii P Henson, Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alicia Keys, Chris Rock & More Describe 23 Ways You Could Be Killed If You’re Black in America
Stars like Beyoncé, Rihanna, Alicia, Chris Rock, Taraji P. Henson, Kevin Hart, Janelle Monáe, Swizz Beatz, Common and more have united a new video, pointing out 23 ways you could be killed if you are black in America.
They each take turns naming simple things like: “Failing to signal a lane change”.. just as Sandra Bland did and “Riding in your girlfriend’s car with a child in the back”.. just as Philando Castile did – that have led to black people losing their lives. Eric Garner, Oscar Grant III, Trayvon Martin, Tamir Rice and Sean Bell are a few others amongst the list.

As it nears its end, viewers are left with the message: “In other words, just for being black in America, and doing absolutely nothing, these everyday actions can be seen as.. not servile enough.”
Alicia also urges individuals to “go WeAreHereMovement.com to tell President Obama and Congress that the time for change is now.”

New Music Video: Donell Jones feat. David Banner – Never Let Her Go
Donell Jones has returned once again, with his latest single “Never Let Her Go” featuring David Banner.
Premiering the video on Wednesday (July 13), the R&B crooner is ready to devote himself 100% and never let his lady get away.

Opening in Atlanta’s swanky DS#17 Lounge, Banner kicks off the bouncy single with a vicious verse, while swooning a blond-haired vixen. Donell arrives at the club, rocking his signature black brim hat and shades, along with what looks like a bullet-proof vest.
Singing about turning up with his lady at home, Jones sets a fun, but seductive mood on the track that he describes as “R&B with a twist.”

“Treat her like a queen, and she know she really is / I’ma never let her go / Make her feel like she’ll never get tired of this,” he sings while getting up-close-and-personal with his sexy co-star.

Tichina Arnold Says She Never Intended For Ex-Husband's Sex Tape To Go Public
In a recent interview with People, actress Tichina Arnold spoke on the release of her husband's sex tape with another woman and how it was not what she expected to happen. Arnold says that when she found out about the tape, she sent it to "very close people", just to inform them of why she was leaving her husband of three years, Rico Hines. Arnold said, “I did not expect it to go public the way it did," but she assures us that "no one from my side leaked it.”

Though the sex tape may have been the public's first time hearing about Hines' infidelity, Arnold says that his cheating became a "pattern". While she says that his mistakes does not make him a bad person, she felt it was imperative that she rid herself from that situation as soon as possible. “I had that feeling of, you know, beyond him being my husband, this is supposed to be my friend, my confidant. Somebody who I can trust. And when you can’t trust the person that you sleep with every night, there’s a problem,” she says. “I could no longer trust him. I could no longer lay with him. And it doesn’t make him a horrible person. We all make mistakes, but not with me and not on my time and not in my life,”
Hines was Arnold's second husband. After this relationship, she says that she has no intentions on getting married again. Since their split, she says there are many issues she's still facing. She claims that people are upset about the divorce, but she had to do what was best for her.

My girl doing what’s BEST for her!!!!!  Dem shoes are HOT tho!

New Couple Alert? Nick Cannon & Chilli Dating????
Are Nick Cannon and Chilli (real name Rozonda Thomas) secretly dating? This week, reports surfaced that the “America’s Got Talent” host TLC member were low-key seeing each other.

What sparked the rumors? According to the New York Daily News, they were at WDKX’s Summerfest Concert in Rochester. TLC was headlining the show and let a few nosey folk tell it, Nick and Chilli got cozy the ENTIRE evening. One insider says Cannon joined Thomas before and after the performance and watched on adoringly as her band performed its ’90s hits, which include “No Scrubs” and “Waterfalls.” A spy claims,

"He watched Chilli intensely and lovingly as the group performed, then couldn’t keep his hands off her backstage. They are definitely together!”"

If the rumors are true, we wouldn’t be surprised. They’ve been friends for years. Nick is currently in the middle of his divorce from Mariah Carey. Since his 2014 split from Carey, he’s been linked to super model Jessica White and Nicole Murphy. Chilli has been linked to actor Brad James, Wayne Brady and Usher, whom she dated years ago. Neither Canon nor Chilli have commented on the speculation.

OMG! Taylor Swift Has A Stalker?
The reality of celebrities getting stalkers is more than real. We may think it is a joke but many celebrities have to take precautions to avoid crazy people. Remember about a month ago there was a report about someone trespassing Taylor Swift’s property when she was not there? Yup, well I wouldn’t be surprised if this incident is related to her two previous incidents.
The obsessed fan who made a trespassy plea of matrimony at Taylor Swift’s Rhode Island mansion was arrested just 2 days before exposing his penis on the road. Law enforcement busted the culprit, Joseph Bernatche and he was busted on Tuesday morning for running in the middle of the street and flashing his penist to passing motorist.
He was released the next morning where he made sure that he made it to Taylor’s house and started to confess his undying love to her. He is really crazy and these incidents after incidents became very disturbing.

I do not know if Taylor was home when this occurred but if I was her I would be terrified. We hope that everything works out in her favor!

Matt Damon: Idris Elba Should Play James Bond
He’s no stranger to spy thrillers, and Matt Damon just endorsed Idris Elba as the man to take over the James Bond gig once Daniel Craig is done.
The “Jason Bourne” stud told Access Hollywood that casting the “Luther” star would actually serve to take the 007 franchise to the next level.

Damon declared, “I like Idris. I think he’s brilliant. I’ll watch him in anything. He makes everything he’s in better and he would make that franchise better. He’s awesome.” There’s no word on Elba’s casting just yet, so stay linked here further details.

Are Lil’ Kim and Azalea Banks headed to Celebrity Big Brother?
Are rapstresses Lil’ Kim and Azalea Banks headed to Celebrity Big Brother? Reports are saying YES and that Kim could become one of the highest-paid celebrities to take part in the series.
“Producers are thrilled they’ve finally got her. It’s taken a lot of cash but they are confident she will be worth it,” an “insider” told the paper.
“This will be Kim’s chance to set the record straight and have her say on all the rumours [about her]. Bosses are hoping she will be outspoken inside the house and make it an explosive series.”

Oooh man! What a shitshow that’s gonna be! We’ve already seen what happened with Kim and Nicki – I can’t imagine Banks is gonna be much easier to deal with given her recent track record on Twitter. Thots?

Serena & Venus Williams’ Dad Richard Williams Reportedly Suffers Stroke
Before Serena Williams and her sister Venus Williams hit the grassy tennis court at Wimbledon in London, their father Richard Williams had a massive health issue.
Richard’s current wife Lakeisha Williams allegedly confirmed the unfortunate news to RadarOnline revealing he was hospitalized last week and has been experiencing debilitating memory loss.

"His condition is fair – he's up and walking around but he's not at 100 percent," Lakeisha told the site.
We noticed Rena hanging out with her pops on SnapChat a few days ago, but she remained mum about his health.
While their father recovered at home, Serena and Venus were battling it out at Wimbledon and kept it a secret. No one knew anything. Serena went on to win her 22nd Grand Slam title and she also copped the Doubles trophy with her sister Venus.  She did mention after her Singles win that her father couldn't be there, and she blew him a kiss.

Just another testament to the strength both Serena and Venus exude. Prayers up for their dad!
