Angela Simmons Poses As Cover Star For KONTROL Magazine’s Winter 2016 Issue
Angela Simmons serves as cover star for KONTROL magazine’s Winter 2016 issue. In addition to her Pastry footwear, the entrepreneur and fashion maven recently launched a faux fur line, Foofi & Bella, with her friend Sanya Richards-Ross – plus, she’s gearing up for her new WE tv reality series, Growing up Hip Hop, with Romeo Miller, Egypt Criss and more.
While she has a lot on her plate, she tells the mag that, “It’s all about time management and doing what you have to do…you make a decision that this is what’s got to get done and get right to it.” Angela also attributes her grind to having people like her father, Rev Run, and uncle, Russell Simmons to look up to.  “I’ve definitely learned a lot from them [her father and uncle]…honestly how could I not?” she says. “They know so much about business and the industry and I’m really blessed to have that kind of wisdom in my life”

As for rumors swirling about beef brewing between Angela and her “GUHH” costar, Kristinia DeBarge, she addresses it; saying: “Me and Kristinia? We’re cool. There’s no issue there. She’s a great girl and a lot of fun.” However, on talks of her and Romeo being an item, she laughs and says: “You will just have to watch the show and see…”

Growing up Hip Hop is on, at 10p ET on WE tv.

As for the GOP response South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley Takes Aim At Donald Trump In State Of The Union Response

South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley delivered the Republican Party's State of the Union response on Tuesday night, slamming Obama for economic policies and his health care plan.
WASHINGTON -- In the Republican response to President Barack Obama's final State of the Union address Tuesday evening, South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley (R) sought to undo some of the damage done to the GOP brand by the wave of anti-immigrant rhetoric popularized by real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Haley, a daughter of Indian immigrants, cautioned against demonizing people who yearn to enter the U.S. in hopes of attaining a better life, even amid a wave of anxiety over national security following terror attacks at home and abroad.

"Today, we live in a time of threats like few others in recent memory," Haley said. "During anxious times, it can be tempting to follow the siren call of the angriest voices. We must resist that temptation. No one who is willing to work hard, abide by our laws, and love our traditions should ever feel unwelcome in this country."
However, even as she strove for middle ground by welcoming "properly vetted legal immigrants, regardless of their race or religion," Haley objected to allowing refugees into the U.S. "whose intentions cannot be determined."
Haley's call for calm resembled words spoken by President Barack Obama after he announced last year that his administration would continue accepting Syrian refugees in the wake of the deadly Paris terror attacks. Moreover, the governor appeared to be directly responding to Trump and his army of supporters -- a message Haley may have been expressly selected to deliver by her party.

The current front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination has stoked fears of foreigners by describing Mexican immigrants as rapists, promising to build a wall along the country's southern border and calling for a ban on all Muslims entering the United States. His rhetoric has alarmed the Republican establishment in particular because it could cost the party votes from key moderates and independents during the general election.
Haley made national headlines last year when she called for the removal of the Confederate flag from the South Carolina statehouse grounds following the racially motivated Charleston church shooting in which nine people died. She later called the flag's removal “a real proud moment for South Carolina.”
In her response to the president's State of the Union address on Tuesday, Haley also criticized the president for falling "far short of his soaring words." The governor faulted Obama for nagging wage stagnation, a massive national debt, a health care program "that has made insurance less affordable," and "chaotic unrest in many of our cities."

She signaled that after the president's final year in office, Republicans would have a chance to lower taxes and debt, and to strengthen the military and the country's bonds with international partners.
“We have big decisions to make. Our country is being tested. But we’ve been tested in the past, and our people have always risen to the challenge. We have all the guidance we need to be safe and successful," she said. "Our forefathers paved the way for us. Let’s take their values, and their strengths, and rededicate ourselves to doing whatever it takes to keep America the greatest country in the history of man.”

#RHOA: Patricia Moore: Kenya Moore’s Mother Prompts RHOA Filming Twist!
Patricia Moore, Kenya Moore’s mother, gets an unexpected, and on camera, visit by Kenya tonight on RHOA. But who is Kenya Moore’s mother, what happened to Kenya’s mom, who raised Kenya, and where does Patricia Moore live now? BravoTV previews feature Kenya Moore, her dad Ronald Grant, a young child, another woman, and friend Brandon DeShazer taking a private bus to a purported residential section of Detroit, Michigan. But where does Patricia Moore exactly live?

The entire Kenya Moore, Patricia Moore showdown on RHOA 8 Sunday is not exactly how it seemed. BravoTV’s RHOA production house True Entertainment has a near perfect record of not filming persons without a consent to film contract. For Sunday’s episode, if Patricia Moore did not consent to film, then BravoTV viewers should not expect to see Patricia’s face or even hear her voice. And there could be additional precautions. BravoTV appears to have taken extra caution in Sunday’s telecast by blurring out street signs, addresses, and homes so as to not reveal details about Patricia Moore’s residence, location, or neighborhood.

To handle Sunday’s episode, BravoTV is using a closed filming environment, a bus, in which all members on the bus consent to film. But if you look carefully, even the images outside the bus’ windows, likes residences and license plates, are blurred out.

Ronald Grant and Patricia Moore were both 16 years old at the time that Kenya was born. Patricia’s father owned a construction company. Patricia’s mother owned a clothing store, claimed PEOPLE. After Patricia became pregnant, her parents were allegedly unhappy and sent Patricia to live with her sister Lori Moore at Central Michigan University. Sometime thereafter, Patricia then asked Ronald permission to give the unnamed child up for adoption. Ronald refused and had his mother Doris Grant agree to raise the then unnamed child. Patricia refused to name the child. Lori allegedly gave the RHOA star her name “Kenya” in reference to the country because “she was dark and beautiful.”

Two years ago, Ronald explained his history with Patricia. He said that Patricia before Kenya’s birth told him to take a “vow. You tell nobody. I tell nobody.” Ronald Grant says he told Patricia Moore “how in the world do you think that that is going to work?” He added “I said Amen, I am not going to have no part of that.”

WOW!

UGH…YOU, AGAIN! Lindsay Lohan Reportedly Yelled Racial Insults at a Bartender Before Spitting in Someone’s Face
Lindsay Lohan is at the center of a bizarre incident that reportedly took place in New York City over the weekend.
According to Radar, Lindsay and her sister Ali were posted up in the bathroom of Vbar   in Greenwich village in the late hours of Friday night when the bartender asked the pair to leave. For whatever reason, Lindsay wasn’t feeling it and she popped off — eventually hurling racial insults at the man.
“They walked in off the street and made a beeline for the bathroom. They didn’t order a drink or anything. They were in there for around 20 minutes and then the bartender started knocking on the door and asked them to come out. When they didn’t come out, he then asked them to leave and Lindsay became aggressive and belligerent,” a source said.

“Lindsay came out and her eyes were glazed over and she started yelling at the bartender – who is originally from West Africa – ‘This is New York. You’re not from here.’”
“What stunned everyone is when she was talking to him in a mock African accent and she kept asking him if he was from Ghana. It seemed like a racist attack.”
At this point, other drinkers who were watching events unfold and were disgusted by Lindsay’s behavior intervened and asked the hard-partying pair to exit the bar.
“They wouldn’t leave and all hell was breaking loose and that’s when Lindsay spat in our friend’s face. The bar then erupted and everyone was yelling at them to leave,” a second source said.

Lindsay – who has had multiple stints in rehab – and Ali then did leave only to then try and get back into the bar but were thwarted as the bartender had locked the door, the eyewitnesses said. Bizarrely, the sisters then got out their cell phones and started filming people inside.
“They came back with their lights on their cameras and they put their face up to the windows. Lindsay was slamming her hands on the windows. She was messed up,” said the first source.

Finally the sisters walked away, but the drama was not over – especially for the barman, who had been the first to tell the Lohans to leave.
“About half an hour later, a friend of Lindsay’s came to the bar and tried to fight the bartender. He got in his face taking a really aggressive stance and was threatening him,” a source claimed.
“Another person in the bar attempted to film it and then Lindsay’s friend stole her phone and ran out of the bar with it. We then chased him and restrained him till the cops arrived. It was madness.“

Four NYPD officers responded to the scene and questioned Lindsay’s male friend.
The petrified bartender, who suffered a scratch on his arm in the brawl, told Radar he has never experienced anything like it.
“I was scared because I didn’t know what would be the end result,” he said. “Especially when you are a black guy in New York and seeing as they (the Lohans) were totally racist and kept asking me where I was from.”
“Luckily the cops were really nice and they understood. They asked me if I wanted to press charges and I said ‘no I just want him to leave’. The cops told the guy to stay off the block. They told him if he comes back they would arrest him.”
“If that was me and someone spat in my face, I would have lost control. If you spit in someones face you don’t consider them a human being. Their behavior was disgusting,” the bartender added.

Immediately after the incident, Lindsay posted a Johnny Depp quote on her Instagram which read: “Just keep moving forward and don’t give a shit about what anybody thinks. Do what you have to do, for you.”
