This is a true statement, but who the hell did this?
On Wednesday morning, Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina’s ABC11 Eyewitness News tweeted the crazy political polling news:
Indeed, according to this Federal Election Commission filing, Deez hails from Wallingford, Iowa.
Mr. Nuts has filed the necessary paperwork with the Federal Election Commission, along with 535 other presidential hopefuls. He’s based in Iowa and is listed as an independent.
The candidate polling at 9 percent in North Carolina against Trump and Clinton isn’t a real person. But 15-year-old Brady Olson, who lives on a farm in Iowa and gamed the FEC filing system, certainly is.
Deez Nuts, the Independent candidate from Iowa, is polling at 9% in North Carolina for President of the United States.
Sadly, Deez Nuts does not appear to exist. But Brady Olson does.
“When I heard about the Limberbutt McCubbins story, I realized I could,” Olson tells The Daily Beast.
Brady Olson is 15 years old. He filed to run for the President of the United States with the FEC on July 26 as Deez Nuts.
It’s important to note that the FEC requires prospective candidates to fill out a single page of basic information, doesn’t verify any of the identities submitted, and places all of the forms on its website, assuming the information has been properly filled in.
Olson is pumped by his rising poll numbers. Despite the hurdles—the president has to be at least 35 to take office, after all—he plans on winning the whole thing.
“The U.S. would have to pass an amendment to take out Article 2,” says Olson. “But Congress wouldn’t do that—after being so embarrassed after losing to Deez Nuts.”

PRAYERS: Former president Jimmy Carter says cancer has spread to his brain
(AP) Former president Jimmy Carter said that the cancer doctors discovered earlier this year on his liver has also been found on his brain. Carter, 90, said he will receive his first radiation treatment for the disease Thursday afternoon.
"I'm perfectly at ease with whatever comes," Carter said at a news conference.
Carter said Thursday that doctors found "four spots of melanoma on my brain -- small spots" after first discovering cancer during an Aug. 3 operation to remove a tumor from his liver.
During that surgery, Carter said, doctors suspected that the cancer had originated in another part of his body. They later discovered the melanoma spots, about "two millimeters" in size, on his brain.
In May, during a trip to Guyana to monitor elections there, Carter fell ill with a "very bad cold" and returned to Atlanta early. Doctors performed a complete physical examination and found the tumor on his liver.
By the end of June, doctors were certain that he would need to have an operation on his liver, Carter said. But he chose to delay surgery in order to complete a book tour for his memoir published this year, "A Full Life: Reflections at Ninety."
"The doctors told me that it was a very slow growing cancer, apparently it wouldn't make any difference between the middle of July and August, so we scheduled it when I got through with the book tour," Carter said.
Carter said that an MRI scan the afternoon after the cancerous mass was removed from his liver revealed that melanoma had already spread to his brain.
"I just thought I had a few weeks left," he said during the news conference at the Carter Center in Atlanta. "But I was surprisingly at ease -- much more so than my wife was."
The former president will be treated at the Winship Cancer Institute, about two miles from the Carter Center. Both the institute and Carter's organization are affiliated with Emory University.
Carter is the second-oldest living president, separated by just over 100 days in age from George H.W. Bush. Carter, the 39th president, served in the White House from 1977 to 1981.
After his presidency, he has continued his humanitarian and human rights work through the Carter Center. It was for that work that he was awarded a Nobel Peace Prize in 2002.
For now, he noted that his cancer treatment will become his "top priority."
"The Carter Center is well prepared to continue on without any handicap," Carter noted.
Several members of Carter's immediate family -- his brother, two sisters, his mother and father -- have all died from cancer.
Beyond his international travel schedule, Carter and his wife of 69 years, Rosalynn, have maintained a life in Plains, Ga., his hometown. He noted that he doesn't expect cancer treatment to halt his usual contributions to his place of worship, Maranatha Baptist Church.
"I plan to teach Sunday school this Sunday -- and every Sunday as long as I'm physically and mentally able," Carter said.
He noted that the well wishes have poured in from President Barack Obama and the first family, as well as all of the living former presidents.
Former secretary of state Hillary Rodham Clinton and current Secretary of State John F. Kerry have also called to wish him well.
"It's the first time they've called me in a long time," Carter joked.
Carter spoke to a full room of journalists, reflecting on -- and occasionally joking about -- his legacy in the White House and as a global humanitarian.
He called his work with the Carter Center "personally more gratifying" than his presidency, though he joked that he wished he might have been able to serve a second term and then engage in humanitarian work after leaving the White House.
"I think I have been as blessed as any human being in the world," Carter said. "So I'm thankful and hopeful."

Well…it looks like Kenya Moore just sealed the deal on her new storyline for the upcoming 8th season of “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”
Meet truck dealership owner Eugene Casciaro. Yesterday, I brought you pics of the “RHOA” beauty’s haircare launch in ATL and we noticed a man on Kenya’s arm. Nothing from the pics screamed they were dating, but now we have the two on our coupledom radar…after we did a little digging.
It appears the 44-year-old former Miss USA queen and the 40-year-old entrepreneur are getting quite cozy with one another. It’s clear he will at least make a cameo on one episode of “RHOA,” since cameras were rolling during her haircare launch a few days ago. But, he may be getting extra camera time as a new love interest of Kenya’s.
And they're not just spending time together in front of the cameras. Earlier this month, Eugene posted a few pics of himself and Kenya in the stands while viewing a professional baseball game between the San Francisco Giants and the Atlanta Braves in ATL. The twosome was all smiles as they snapped up a few coupledom selfies.
Eugene owns his own truck dealership, Nvision Truck Sales Inc, based in Atlanta. And we hear he makes a pretty penny from his business. From what we can tell, he’s a manly man who likes to enjoy outdoor and masculine activities, including monster fishing, hitting the gun range and he also enjoys golfing.

According to MugShots.com, back in 2009, Eugene was arrested in Dekalb County after being charged with a few felonies and misdemeanors, including obstructing a law enforcement officer, criminal damage to property, theft by taking and simple battery. Yikes!
He was jailed on July 13, 2009 then released the next day after posting a $15,200 bail. No word (that we could fine) on if he was actually convicted of those crimes.
Hmm...so what do you think...is this Kenya's NEW man? OR is he just part of a possible new storyline?

Your FIRST LOOK Of Lady Gaga On The 'American Horror Story: Hotel' Set
YESSSSSSS! The Countess has arrived!
We finally have our first look at Lady Gaga's character on the set of "American Horror Story: Hotel," and she looks pretty Gaga-esque.
Gaga's Elizabeth, the Countess and owner of Season 5's Hotel Cortez, was spotted filming on location for the series on Wednesday night outside of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA). Wearing a red caped gown and the metal arm piece from the first "Hotel" teaser, Gaga walks through Chris Burden's street lamp sculpture at the Wilshire Boulevard entrance to the museum as some sort of black tie party takes place around her.
A fan also uploaded a video to YouTube of Mother Monster entering the sculpture to the music of Dinah Washington's "Coquette."
So what could it all mean? For starters, the footage left some fans on Reddit perplexed as they theorized whether or not "Hotel" will be set in the present day. Although FX President John Landgraf previously said it's his "hope" that Season 5 takes place in the modern day, the network has yet to reveal exactly what era the show will be in. But this new footage could give us some clues.
Burden's sculpture "Urban Light" was installed outside the museum in 2008. If "Hotel" is acknowledging the piece's real-life location at LACMA, then we can expect at least some episodes to take place sometime between '08 and today. But, Ryan Murphy also might be using the sculpture to reference the era of them lamps themselves. Burden's piece is made up of restored cast iron street lamps from the 1920s and '30s. Could it also take place then?
One thing we can guess is that "Hotel" will likely flash to the years 1989 or 1990 when Aileen Wuornos murdered several men -- Lily Rabe will portray the infamous serial killer this season. Knowing Murphy's style though, "Hotel" will probably jump between a variety of eras.

Detective In Biggie Smalls Murder Dies After Apparent Heart Attack
Detective Russell Poole, the man known for investigating the death of Notorious B.I.G has died.
According to the Los Angeles Times, Poole died of an apparent heart attack while speaking with the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s homicide investigators about a cold case.
In 1997, Poole was the lead investigator in Biggie’s untimely passing. Christopher Wallace, the late rapper’s legal name, was shot and killed in Los Angeles after leaving a Soul Train Music Awards after party.
During the investigation, Poole accused LAPD police officer, David Mack, of scheming with former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight to kill the New York rapper. But shortly after, Poole was forced by then, police chief, Bernard C. Mack, to cease all investigations on the accused officer.
Two years later, in protest to how the unit handled the investigation, Poole retired.
Poole eventually filed a lawsuit against LAPD for preventing him to go public with the evidence, which went against his Fist Amendment rights. Poole went on to start up his own detective services.

During a lengthy, emotional and often-incoherent interview with In Touch magazine just one day after the SoulCycle incident, Lamar Odom insists he didn’t assault or “ambush” his ex Khloé Kardashian outside SoulCycle and claims it was a big misunderstanding between him and his “wife.”khloe soul cycle
“We spoke [beforehand],” Lamar explains to In Touch magazine at Shutters on the Beach hotel bar in Santa Monica. Continuously referring to Khloé as his “wife,” he tells In Touch, “A misunderstanding between me and my wife became public. It’s hurtful. That woman is my wife. Without the ring on my finger. [Even] with her picture being taken with another man, that woman is my wife.”
“She’s [my] soul mate,” Lamar told the mag in his rambling interview. “I can’t control it. We’ll never part. I would never consider myself serious with another woman. To sum it up, if a man is attempting to court Khloé, he’s probably wasting his time.”
Lama OdemLamar also said that seeing Khloé with other men “is weird. And the weirdest part about it is because I really know how she feels about me.”
In Touch caught up with the former NBA player again one day later, but the interview was cut short when Lamar had to go lie down in a car.

OOPS! Caitlyn Jenner Could Be Charged With Vehicular Manslaughter!
If convicted, the former Olympian faces up to a year in county jail.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department has completed its investigation into the car crash Caitlyn Jenner was involved in this past February that left one woman dead.
According to ABC7, detectives are recommending that the district attorney charge Jenner with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter. According to the report, Jenner was not speeding, but she was still traveling at an unsafe speed for road conditions when her Escalade rear-ended two cars, pushing Kim Howe’s car into oncoming traffic, causing the fatal crash.
TMZ had previously reported that Jenner was unlikely to face felony charges, however, if convicted on the misdemeanor charge, she faces up to a year in county jail.
According to the Los Angeles Times, detectives will also present evidence against Jessica Steindorff, the driver of the Toyota Prius involved in the crash who has filed a lawsuit against Jenner. Detective Richard Curry told the paper Steindorff was driving on a suspended license and could be charged with a crime.
Meanwhile, Jenner is also being sued by Howe's stepchildren, William Howe and Dana Redmond, who filed a wrongful death lawsuit claiming the former Olympian was driving at unsafe speeds. They also alleged she was negligent when she rear-ended the car, causing their mother's death.
BLOOP: Judge Denies Glory Johnson $20,000 Per Month Spousal Support From Brittney Griner
Sorry Girl…not today, According to TMZ: WNBA superstar Brittney Griner will NOT have to shell out $20,000-per-month to her estranged wife Glory Johnson … so says a judge who just REJECTED Glory’s request in court.
As we previously reported, Johnson says Griner needs to pony up TONS of cash for “spousal maintenance” — to keep up the lifestyle to which Glory became accustomed during their 28 day marriage.
Glory had said she needed $20k per-month to pay for things like food and hired help. In addition, Johnson wanted Griner to pay the monthly bill on her swanky Mercedes Benz.
But in court, the judge SHOT DOWN Johnson’s request — all of it — including an additional request that Griner pay $10k to cover Glory’s legal bills.
Johnson is currently pregnant with twins — and has strongly insinuated that Griner has a financial obligation to take care of the children. The battle for child support will undoubtedly continue.

Jill Scott & Lauren London Reunite For John Singleton’s “Snowfall” Series
“Baggage Claim” co-stars Jill Scott and Lauren London will be reuniting for a new television series. And none other than Hollywood filmmaker vet John Singleton will be helming the project.
Jill and Lauren will be joining FX’s upcoming “Snowfall” drama series. According to THR, the plot will follow the beginnings of the crack cocaine epidemic in L.A. in the 1980s. Jilly From Philly will play Sharon “Cissy” Saint.
Cissy appears to be a single mother (who isn’t standing for any nonsense) with a son named Franklin (played British actor Damson Idris). Frustrated in both her personal and professional lives, Cissy has sacrificed her dreams to give Franklin opportunities she never had. To spice things up a bit, Lauren will star as Franklin’s party-girl aunt, Louise Saint.
No word (yet) on will it will hit the small screen, but we will definitely keep you posted.
