Former "Scandal" star Columbus Short was about to take the mic at his own album release party at the Infusion Lounge at Universal City Walk when he was literally yanked from the stage in the middle of a sound check!
Sheriff's deputies accompanied bounty hunters, who had been following the actor's movements for months, and hauled him out of the venue and directly to Los Angeles County Jail.
The 32-year-old father of two has been at to attempting to follow a lifelong passion for music. But after he was ousted by "Scandal" creator Shonda Rhimes, he's stayed in trouble with the law -- mainly due to domestic violence issues.
According to the organization that netted him up, headed up by Lucky Luciano, an LA-based bounty hunter, Short's bond had been set at more than a quarter-million-dollars but was revoked by the bondsman who thought Short was a possible flight risk. Columbus also jetted to Barbados around this time last year to avoid authorities and was arrested upon his return.
Luciano told Splash News, "[Columbus has] known I have been looking for him and he made a stupid joke saying that I would never find him and little did he know I was going to find him on the night he was promoting his music. I get the last laugh I guess."

Additionally, "Empire"-curated windows will be on display at Saks Fifth Avenue's New York and Beverly Hills flagships from Sep. 10 through Oct. 7.

The “RHOA” ladies are back together for production of the upcoming 8th season of the hit BRAVO series. And most of the ladies—new and old—were in attendance.
A few nights ago, Kenya Moore hosted a lavish launch party for her Moore Haircare line at the historical M Rich Building in Atlanta. And of course, it was gone-with-the-wind fabulous.
Before twirling inside, the haircare owner snapped it up with former “Fashion Queens” co-host Miss Lawrence and Eugene Casciao.
The former Miss USA queen looked gorgeous in an ivory flowy gown serving up goddess tease with her hair sweeping past her shoulders for a sleek look.
“RHOA” co-star Kandi Burruss Tucker showed off her cute growing belly and her lady lumps in a gold printed frock. Baby Tucker will make his/her grand entrance into the world in January.
Newcomer and transgender model Amiyah Scott was on the scene showing off in a black cut-out jumpsuit.
She snapped a few selfies....

It appears she’s returning for the new season as well. She was also at Cynthia Bailey’s eyewear launch filming with the cast.
R&B songstress Keke Wyatt, who released a new video “Lie Under You” recently, came out to support Kenya’s new endeavor.
And it looks like Claudia Jordan, who lost her peach recently, may be returning in some capacity. She popped up with "Hit The Floor" star Rob Riley after partying with him in Barbados recently.
The cameras were rolling trying to catch everything the ladies were dishing about as they chopped it up with one another.
Kenya took the stage to thank everyone for their support of her haircare line. From the looks of the pics, it appears everyone was on their best behavior, but we'll see what really went down once the new season airs. Stay tuned to see if Amiyah and or Kim will really be on the show.
HOORAY!!!! Michael Vick Just Finished Paying Off $20 Milli Debt From 2008 Bankruptcy!
Michael Vick raked in over 120 million dollars during his NFL career … but he currently has less than 550k to his name … this according to newly filed docs in his bankruptcy case.
The NFL star filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2008 …. claiming he owed over 20 million dollars to creditors with his assets dwindling due to his infamous dog-fighting scandal and having lost numerous million dollar endorsements.
Vick has made a miraculous comeback … signing a 6-year 100 million dollar deal in 2011 with the Eagles … which has helped pay off a huge chunk of the people he owed money to in the bankruptcy.
Vick’s bankruptcy case has been active since 2008 … attempting to pay off all the debt. The NFL stars cash flow isn’t looking too hot at the moment with him only having $538,889 in his bank.
The ex-NFL star had a total of $806,117 in the beginning of April but at the end of June – minus all of his expenses and payments to creditors – he was left with only $538,889.
Based on court records … last year Vick had over 2 million in his bank accounts but paying off all his debt has left his with next to nothing leftover.
However, the biggest update in the bankruptcy is Vick has finally settled with the last creditor in his case. This means all the debt he owed to the various 50 creditors has been handled … which means his bankruptcy will be coming to an end after nearly 7 years.

YIKES! Madame Tussauds To Beef Up Security Following Provocative Nicki Minaj Wax Figure
Nicki Minaj’s wax figure has garnered more negative attention than expected, and now, Madame Tussauds is speaking out.
Earlier this month, the famed wax museum revealed a statue of Nicki posing on all fours with her butt sticking up in the air. Unfortunately, the figure, which Nicki says she “loves,” is now making headlines after a visitor took a snapshot with the statue pressing his private against the rapper’s backside while pulling her hair.
Madame Tussauds released the following statement regarding the seemingly offensive photo.

Nelson Mandela’s Grandson Charged For Raping 15-Year Old Girl
Nelson Mandela’s grandson has been charged with raping a 15-year-old girl inside a South African bar bathroom.
Mbuso Mandela, 24, appeared in a Johannesburg court Monday. He will stay in police custody until at least Friday, when he is given a formal bail hearing, South Africa’s Star newspaper reported.
The teenage girl was having dinner with some friends when she excused herself to go to the bathroom, her family’s spokesman told the Daily Sun.Mandela allegedly attacked her inside.
“He grabbed her and raped her inside one of the toilets,” the spokesman said.
IT GETS WORSE….After the attack, the Mandela family tried to interfere with cops’ investigation, the victim’s family claimed.
Mandela family matriarch Winnie Madikizela-Mandela sent her bodyguard — disguised as a cop — to the victim’s home, the spokesman said. The undercover bodyguard allegedly told the girl’s family that police would not arrest the suspected rapist.
“When the father asked to see his badge, he didn’t have one. It turned out he had been sent by Winnie,” the family spokesman said
The victim’s family is furious over the way the Mandelas have handled the situation.
JUST DISGUSTING! Former Subway Spokesperson Jared Fogle Pleads Guilty To Child Porn Charges!
Longtime Subway pitchman Jared Fogle agreed Wednesday to plead guilty to allegations that he paid for sex acts with minors and received child pornography in a case that destroyed his career at the sandwich-shop chain and could send him to prison for more than a decade.
Prosecutors allege that Fogle knew the pornography had been secretly produced by the former director of his charitable foundation, which sought to raise awareness about childhood obesity and arranged for Fogle to visit schools and urge children to adopt healthy eating and exercise habits.
Authorities said Fogle offered to pay adult prostitutes a finder's fee if they could connect him with minors for sex acts, including some as young as 14 or 15 years old.
"This is about using wealth, status and secrecy to illegally exploit children," U.S. Attorney Josh Minkler said.
A tight-lipped Fogle sat in federal court with his hands clasped and quietly answered "no" when the judge asked whether he had any questions about his rights. He is expected to enter the formal plea at a later date to one count each of travelling to engage in illicit sexual conduct with a minor and distribution and receipt of child pornography.
The agreement released by prosecutors said Fogle will pay $1.4 million in restitution to 14 minor victims, who will each receive $100,000. He will also be required to register as a sex offender and undergo treatment for sexual disorders.
The government agreed not to seek a sentence of more than 12 1/2 years in prison, and Fogle agreed not to ask for less than five years, according to court documents.
Federal judges have wide discretion in sentencing, and Fogle could get a longer sentence. The child-porn charge carries a maximum penalty of 20 years in prison. The count involving sex with a minor is punishable by up to 30 years.

Fogle "knows that restitution can't undo the damage that he's done, but he will do all in his power to try to make it right," defense attorney Jeremy Margolis told reporters.
The married father of two, he added, has a "medical problem" and "expects to get well," but he did not elaborate.
As Fogle left the courthouse, several people jeered him amid a throng of TV cameras, onlookers and protesters.
One man shouted, "Hey, Jared, leave those kids alone." Others waved signs accusing authorities of going light on Fogle while giving many minorities rougher treatment.
Fogle, 37, became Subway's pitchman after shedding more than 200 pounds as a college student, in part by eating the chain's sandwiches. He was the public face of the company for more than 15 years - a period in which its number of locations tripled, making Subway the world's largest restaurant chain.
Subway suspended the partnership in July after agents raided his home in the affluent Indianapolis suburb of Zionsville, and the chain said this week that it had ended its relationship with Fogle.
Federal prosecutors allege in the documents that Fogle traveled to pay for sex acts, including with minors, from 2007 until as recently as June and that he repeatedly planned business trips to coincide with his sexual pursuits.
Fogle is accused of having sex with two 16-year-old girls at hotels in New York City. One of the girls told investigators she had sex with Fogle three times in November 2012, when she was 16, and again two months later, in January, when she was 17.
The girl told Fogle her age when they first met, according to the documents.
After that meeting, Fogle allegedly texted the girl and offered to pay her a fee if she could find him another underage girl to pay for sex acts.
During these discussions, Fogle "stated that he would accept a 16-year-old girl, while stating that the younger the girl, the better," the documents said.
Posts to social media place Fogle in New York around the dates of the alleged sex acts.
Tweets from Subway's official account indicate Fogle attended events ahead of the New York Marathon in November 2012, appearing in a segment of a news program on Nov. 1 and sitting on a panel with Subway teammates the following day.
The documents also alleged that Fogle on multiple occasions received sexually explicit images and videos produced by Russell Taylor, 43, who ran the charitable Jared Foundation.
Two months before Fogle's home was raided, authorities arrested Taylor on charges that he produced and possessed child pornography. Investigators said they discovered a cache of sexually explicit photos and videos Taylor allegedly produced by secretly filming minor children at his home.
Prosecutors also allege that Fogle received from Taylor multiple images and videos, some of which were taken by a video camera hidden in a clock radio that filmed children changing clothes or bathing. Some were taken in buildings where Taylor lived.
The documents said Fogle knew those depicted were minors, some as young as 13 or 14 years old, and in some cases knew the minors involved by name and had met them "during social events in Indiana."
Assistant U.S. Attorney Steven DeBrota said investigators pored through some 159,000 text messages, 27,000 emails and 47,000 images and are "fairly confident" that evidence does not suggest any other victims beyond the 14.
Fogle's history with Subway reaches back to his days at Indiana University. The college paper published a story on his weight loss that was then picked up by national media.
Soon after, Subway's advertising agency reached out to Fogle and asked if he wanted to be in a TV commercial. The ensuing ad campaign resonated in part because Fogle seemed like such a regular guy, which made weight loss seem simple and achievable.

After 11 years together, Megan Fox and Brian Austin Green are calling it quits.
An insider told Us Weekly, “Megan has separated from Brian. They decided on it six months ago.” Though reason for the split remains vague, another source close to the 29-year-old actress and 42-year-old former teen heartthrob told the mag, “Things have been rocky.”
Megan and Brian, who were last photographed together having lunch on June 9, have two young children: Noah, 2, and Bodhi, 18 months. Their reps have yet to comment.
NO WILL SMITH in Bad Boys + NO THANKS: Bad News For Bad Boys Sequels
Sony announced it plans to release more sequels of the Will Smith/Martin Lawrence action comedy, “Bad Boys.” But what they didn’t tell us is Will Smith may NOT star in the sequels!
WTH! Apparently Sony thinks the movie has been so slow-moving that Smith might not star, instead opting to produce. Or maybe it’s because Michael Bay isn’t returning to direct or because Smith’s too busy foolishly planning to reboot The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air instead of accepting he’s a bad boy for life. BB3 better get it together while there’s still time, or we can hold out hope for BB4.
“Bad Boys 3″ will be released on February 17, 2017 and “Bad Boys 4″ is slated for July 3, 2019.
The previous two “Bad Boys” films have grossed over $400 million worldwide.
