Mariah Carey Signs To Epic, Announces "#1 To Infinity" Album
Mariah is releasing a new album soon. It appears to be a greatest hits style, #1's albums. Pre-orders start Monday, but check out the cover:

The album cover comes on the heels of a ton of Mimi-related news. First, Mariah Carey has been signed to an exclusive contract with Epic Records, a division of Sony Music Entertainment, it was announced by Antonio ‘L.A.’ Reid, Chairman and CEO, Epic Records.
“I couldn’t be more thrilled to be back together again with Mariah,” he said. "There is really no one who comes close to Mariah as both a songwriter and a singer, and as the world knows, her vocal range is legendary and truly incomparable. Her music is indelibly etched into our culture, and she’s shattered so many chart records that she’s now firmly entrenched in the history books. With a fierce and loyal fan base that covers every corner of the globe, I have no doubt Mariah will do it again."
Her first release will be Mariah Carey #1 To Infinity, arriving in stores May 18th. The collection will gather all 18 of her Billboard Hot 100 #1 singles (17 self-penned). Included as the final track on the collection is Mariah’s breathtaking new single, “Infinity” (co-written and produced by Mariah).

SAY WHAT? Phaedra Parks, I’m not getting DIVORCED I’m still MARRIED?
The other night on Watch What Happens Live the guests in the clubhouse were Real Housewives of Atlanta stars Porsha Williams and Phaedra Parks. The ladies talked divorce, engagements, RHOA reunion, and more with Andy Cohen.
Andy asks Phaedra about how she felt when Apollo spread the Mr. Chocolate story. “It was very disturbing because obviously it wasn’t true, but people do crazy stuff when they are having marital issues.” She then threw a whole lot of shade at the other husbands (aka Peter) because Apollo’s friend Bun does call to check on the boys but “others” talk a lot about the situation but don’t actually call to see how the kids are doing without their dad. She did say that Gregg has, so that leaves peachy Peter.
Phaedra plays coy about her marital situation. The bartender brings up her “divorce” and she corrects her that she’s still married. Andy tries to clear it up and says she’s going to stay married but she just slyly smiles and says “I’m still married.”
Phaedra is asked if she thought it was shady of NeNe to walk out of her event. “No, I don’t think it was shady because NeNe came all of the way from New York to attend the event and she came so she could support me and she also came so she could uplift young men. She did not want to destroy the event by arguing. So for her to come and be mature enough to not engage in foolery, I’m very proud of Miss NeNe.”
A viewer wants to know if Phaedra was afraid during the garage scene with Apollo. “I was very concerned. It was very frightening. It was very intense.” She says “Bun was very helpful and he’s one of Apollo’s very true friends.”
Another caller asks about Phaedra’s marriage/divorce situation and she again says “I’m still married” and when the caller starts praising Jesus for that, Phaedra thanks her. Sounds like these two aren’t calling it quits if her comments tonight mean anything…
When someone says Phaedra is looking thin she admits she’s been doing a lot of liquid diets lately.
The poll question was “do you think the truce between Kenya and Phaedra will last?” and 80% answered No. Andy asks Phaedra what the status is. “She got what she wanted, the conversation, so I thought we were all good but..just wait for the reunion, so that you can see what really happens.” Andy says “I thought the reunion was really dramatic in a totally different way than normal. It was very non-ratchet.” Porsha pipes up sarcastically “we’ve had a ratchet reunion?” Phaedra says “well, I would’ve voted for a snatch and grab.”

YAY! J. Cole Finally Gets His College Degree!
J. Cole is having a great year so far. First he goes platinum, and it the first solo artist to do so without a musical feature in decades. Now, he’s also received his college degree.
Reports AllHipHop: The rapper told The Village Voice, “I’m gonna send it to my mom.”
St. John’s University presented the North Carolina rapper with the honor in Queens, on April 9. He would have gotten it sooner, but it was withheld due to an overdue library book.
Cole explained to the Voice:
“I owed money for a library book that I didn’t turn in,” he admitted sheepishly. He has “no clue” what title it was but apparently even one vanishing book cost him his degree. “If you have any outstanding fee, that translates to money. There’s a price associated with it. I never paid. That’s why I don’t have my degree.”
“Tonight, I guess they let me slide,” he laughed. Nearly a decade after the fact, Cole already knows exactly what he’s going to do with his long-awaited piece of paper. “I’m gonna send it to my Mom.”
J. Cole graduated Summa cum laude in 2007 and maintained an impressive G.P.A. of 3.82.
Beyoncé becomes first person to hit 30 million Instagram followers
Once again the worst terrorist group on earth (try shading their queen to understand what we mean), the beehive have proven they stay loyal to their Queen, Beyoncé.
The Drunk In Love singer has become the first person to rack up 30 million followers on the photo sharing site, Instagram.
Behind her in the followers rankings are Kim Kardashian-West, who has has 29.8 million followers, and Taylor Swift, who has 27 million.
The Stars react to Hillary Clinton’s 2nd presidential bid.
Hillary Clinton has announced she’ll be running for president in the 2016 elections. This marks Clinton’s second bid, after playing coy about it last year. Last night, April 12, the 67-year-old former New York senator and Democratic party leader, and wife of former President Bill Clinton, announced the news on her website, hillaryclinton.com. Her Twitter later confirmed the news.
In a video message posted on her website, Clinton among several others, including a pregnant woman and her partner, express their hopes for the future.
“I’m getting ready to do something too — I’m running for president,” Clinton says. “Americans have fought their way back from tough economic times but the deck is still stacked in favor of those at the top. Everyday Americans need a champion and I want to be that champion. So you can do more than just get by — you can get ahead and stay ahead because when families are strong, America is strong.
“So I’m hitting the road to earn your vote. Because it’s your time. And I hope you’ll join me on this journey.”

Are you kidding Me? Cle “Bone” Sloan Says He Refuses To Snitch On Suge Knight, On The Stand
Cle “Bone” Sloan, the man who Suge Knight ran over with his car and survived, refuses to snitch against the Death Row Records founder. Yep, Sloan said this in court while testifying.
Reports TMZ:
The man who got run over by Suge Knight, and survived, tearfully testified in court that he would not “snitch” and help prosecutors put Suge in prison.
Cle “Bone” Sloan was called to the stand during Suge’s preliminary hearing Monday AM, and the prosecutor raised the topic of snitching.
Sloan got emotional and declared he “doesn’t want to be used to send this man to prison.” He added, “I screwed up and Terry’s dead.”
It’s amazing … the guy who was laid up for weeks with two fractured ankles, two torn ligaments in his knees and a shoulder injury from Suge plowing over him — took the stand and tried to take the blame for Terry Carter’s death … seemingly taking some heat off Suge.
The question is, does Bone realize that by saying he refuses to snitch and send a man to jail that he pretty much confirmed that the man should be sent to jail? Just saying.
John Legend Launches New Initiative “Free America” To End Mass Incarceration
R&B crooner John Legend is using his star power for the greater good. The “All Of Me” singer has launched a new campaign to help fight against and bring awareness to mass incarceration, one of issues he touched on during his Academy Award winning speech this year.
Today, the Oscar winner announced his multiyear initiative, FREE AMERICA. John will travel to Austin, Texas on Thursday to meet and perform for inmates inside of a Texas prison. He will also join a press conference with state legislators to discuss Texas' criminal justice system, according to reports.
During an interview with the AP, he said,
"We have a serious problem with incarceration in this country. It's destroying families, it's destroying communities and we're the most incarcerated country in the world, and when you look deeper and look at the reasons we got to this place, we as a society made some choices politically and legislatively, culturally to deal with poverty, deal with mental illness in a certain way and that way usually involves using incarceration."
After visiting Texas, the “Glory” singer will travel a state prison in California and will co-host a criminal justice event with Politico in Washington, D.C. He will also call on a few of his celebrity friends and different organizations around the nation who are committed to ending mass incarceration to join him in his fight.
"I'm just trying to create some more awareness to this issue and trying to make some real change legislatively," he said. "And we're not the only ones. There are senators that are looking at this, like Rand Paul and Cory Booker, there are other nonprofits that are looking at this, and I just wanted to add my voice to that."

Kendall Jenner had Amber Rose kicked out of Coachella Cabana and NOT The event itself?
Amber Rose has been feuding with the Kardashian family for months, ever since she criticized Tyga for dating 17-year-old Kylie Jenner. Although her older sister, Kendall Jenner, has remained mum about the feud, she showed whose side she’s on this weekend when she allegedly kicked Rose out of a Coachella cabana.
According to Us Weekly, Rose and a few of her friends showed up early to the McDonald’s and Chevrolet Pool Party at the Bootsy Bellows estate and accidentally sat down at a cabana reserved for Kendall.
When Kendall eventually showed up and spotted Rose, she immediately had her kicked out of the cabana.
“No way, this is not happening.” Kendall allegedly said, before having an escort remove Rose.
When the escort came over to Rose, she allegedly replied, “Well, my drink is here!” However, the escort insisted she leave and Rose got up and gave Kendall a side-eye as she walked away.
Neither star has confirmed or denied the story, but the rumor is definitely reigniting heat around the Rose-Kardashian feud.
Rapper The Game Will Be Looking For Love In New VH1 Reality Show
The Game stays on the grind. Besides working on The Documentary 2, and 2-piecing a cop, the Compton rapper will be starring in a new VH1 series called She Got Game where his celeb friends will help him “find love.”
Since VH1’s hit show Marrying The Game, and his relationship with Tiffney Cambridge, is a wrap, Game will be seeking out the help of his celebrity friends to find him a woman he will be willing to settle down with. Each celeb buddy will select a woman to go on tour with the rapper…and pretty much see what happens.
The 10-episode series is scheduled to premiere in the summer of 2015.
“Relationships are hard. And The Game knows that working in the entertainment business makes it even harder,” said Susan Levison, EVP, Original Programming & Production, VH1 via a press statement. “In this series, he gets to try a different strategy, taking the advice and suggest.”
The Game, born Jayceon Taylor, will serve as an executive producer on the show.

In Atlanta the Celebs came out to Attend UNCF’s “An Evening Of Stars”
The United Negro College Fund hosted its 36th annual “An Evening of Stars” event to celebrate and support higher education. Hosted by “black•ish” star Anthony Anderson, some of the entertainment industry’s biggest names gathered at the Boisfeuillet Jones Atlanta Civic Center in Atlanta last night for the premiere fundraising event.
During the ceremony, scholarships were awarded to students from UNCF and celebrities to help them financially to get through college and ultimately to help to support their dreams.
Further fueling dating rumors, “Empire” co-stars Trai Byers and Grace Gealey were all smiles…TOGETHER on the red carpet. If you haven’t heard, there have been rumors circulating for weeks that these two are an item. Neither of them have confirmed or denied whether they are dating or not, but if they are, we’re NOT mad.
“Empire” breakout singer/actor Jussie Smollett hit the carpet before he was set to take the stage to perform alongside British singer Estelle.
Returning for the third consecutive year, “black•ish” actor/producer Anthony Anderson chopped it up with Jussie on the carpet before getting to his hosting duties.
And the two had a little fun before heading inside. Ha!
“Braxton Family Values” star and singer Toni Braxton turned heads in a jaw dropping, extra revealing Zeynep Erdogan couture dress. The 47-year-old stunna was spotted walking in with her mother Evelyn and sons Diezel and Denim before strutting her stuff down the carpet:
The R&B songstress later hit the stage to serenade the audience with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds. She also took the podium with her son Diezel (who has autism) to announce their joint UNCF scholarship for students with autism. Nice!
Rapper/actor Ludacris was all smiles on the carpet and with good reason. His new action flick Furious 7 is smashing the box office, raking in $800 million globally in less than two weeks. The ATL rapper also dropped his newest LP Ludaversal two weeks ago and he’s gearing up to be a dad again as his wife Eudoxiee is pregnant with his third child.
British songbird Estelle came out for the night’s festivities in an Amanda Wakeley x Saloni London look before rocking the stage with Jussie.
“Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Demetria McKinney brought her man Roger Bobb along as her date. She will be starring in a new drama flick titled Sons 2 the Grave, also starring Darrin Dewitt Henson.
“Love & Hip Hop” creator Mona Scott-Young has plenty to celebrate after news broke that MempHitz LOST in the 2012 defamation case he filed against her and VH1 producers. We know she's happy.
Gospel singer Yolanda Adams slayed the carpet in a white (although it looks powder blue in the pic) one-shouldered dress before she took the stage to perform.
Retired NBA baller Grant Hill and singer Tamia brought the coupledom fab on the carpet.
Soul singer Kem kept it dapper in a black suit with white trimming.
"Being Mary Jane" star and former NFL running back Thomas Jones was looking great on the carpet.
And Morris Day and The Time were also in the mix.
