Lupita Nyong’o is RADIANT On Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2015 “New Face Of Beauty” Issue
Academy Award winning actress Lupita Nyong’o is absolutely stunning on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar UK May 2015 issue, dubbing her “The New Face of Beauty.”
We don’t necessarily agree with her being the “new” face of beauty since she’s been serving gorgeousness since she hit the scene, but she definitely embodies all things beautiful.
Shot by Alexi Lubormirski, the Kenyan beauty is radiant, flashing her pearly whites with a beautiful pink flower in her hair. The Lancôme ambassador, whose rise to fame has been nothing short of a whirlwind, sits down with magazine journalist Sophie Elmhirst in London for the cover story.
In a snippet from her interview, the Yale graduate opens up about finally getting to a point where she’s comfortable enough with herself to let loose and dance in front of people. She said before, she was afraid to dance and would be worried if she looked “cute”. But now, she doesn’t care. She’s owning who she is and doesn’t care who’s watching. She spilled,
“There was a time when I was afraid to dance. My older sister would dance with abandon,’ she continues. “She would do it to entertain. I was so mortified at the thought of wiggling my body in any direction. And I wrestled with myself, because I didn’t want to be so self-conscious. I wanted to be able to enjoy music and not care that I looked cute. I don’t know when something switched in my head, but I’m so glad it did, because I feel like dancing, and being able to enjoy one’s body for oneself is such a precious, precious thing. For yourself, you know?’ She pauses. ‘If this had happened to me at a time when I couldn’t dance – ha – my God, I think I would be way more of a wreck.”

BRAVO is confirming the news of NeNe’s and Kim’s new show and has released the working title, “NeNe and Kim: The Road to Riches."
Earlier I reported about an new reality series starring friends-turned-enemies-turned-friends again NeNe Leakes and Kim Zolciak-Biermann. And now, BRAVO has confirmed the news (along with the ladies) and have revealed the working title.
After publicly reconciling on “Watch What Happens Live” back in December, the ladies are now gearing up to bring their crazy, rollercoaster friendship to a brand new reality show. We told you the show would be serving up a Thelma and Louise road trip tease and that was also confirmed.
Per the press release, the ladies will drive out of their comfort zones and across the country to discover America on a one-of-a-kind adventure. The road to L.A. may be paved with good intentions, but that doesn’t mean they won’t occasionally drive each other crazy. NeNe and Kim together non-stop? You know they’re going to get into it.
The ladies took to social media to announce their new projects. NeNe captioned, " IT'S OFFICIALLY @kimzolciakbiermann and I have our own spin off show only on #BRAVO! We announced it today in New York City with our entire Bravo & True Entertainment family. Thank you for believing in us we are about to hit The Road To Riches."
Kim happily announced, "It's OFFICIAL!!! My girl @neneleakes and I are doing a show together! We are in NYC today together and made the BIG announcement!! We are so excited for " Road to Riches #dontbetardyfortheBiermann's #BRAVO"
And, of course, their hubbies were there to support their new venture. NeNe's husband Gregg Leakes and Kim's hubby Kroy Biermann came out to NYC to be with their significant others for the big reveal. The Biermanns have plenty to celebrate as they will also be starring in brand new season of “Don’t Be Tardy."

What? Man Throws Banana Peel At Dave Chappelle In Racist Attack!
Comedian Dave Chappelle was attacked last night by a New Mexico man during a performance. Christian Englander is being accused of throwing a banana at Dave in a racist attack that landed him in jail on battery and disorderly conduct charges.
Witnesses say the comic responded by using the senseless act as material for his show for over an hour, remarking at one point that he wish he could throw a tuna casserole back at the assailant.
One person in attendance says Chappelle and Englander’s exchange started after Chappelle noticed someone in the crowd writing in a notebook in the middle of the show.
“It’s about half way thru Dave’s set and it’s been really good. Dave being hilarious, New Mexicans being dumb and yelling, ‘I’m rich bitch’. Typical. All of a sudden Dave’s face turns. He see’s someone jotting in a notebook and he gets real serious. ‘What are you doing sir? Why would you be writing during the show?’ Dave, I’m sure, thinks the guy is writing down jokes to post online or whatever. It turns out however, the dude is sketching in his notebook. Dave asks him to see it and turns it into a little piece, flipping thru the book.
The crowd eggs him on to sign one of the pics for the guy, and eventually Dave relents. Dave says he’s gonna write a note on another page for the guy, and asks him his name. [The guy says Johnny Appleseed.] Immediately, Dave is like ‘F*ck this. I thought we were having a real conversation’ and quits on the note and gives him the notebook back. As he’s giving the notebook back, this guy in a winter vest and day glow hat sitting next to Appleseed stands up, throws a banana at Dave. Throws it sidearm, and books it for the exit.”
That guy was Englander who authorities say was heavily intoxicated at the time.
CALM DOWN FOLKS! Kanye West Did Not Drop New Album
The Internet was buzzing on Monday afternoon after a photo of what appeared to be the track list to Kanye West’s forthcoming album hit the Internet.
Immediately, fans speculated that the rapper quietly released his anticipated project on Tidal, a brand new music streaming site. But as exciting as that would have been, it was untrue.
After logging onto the site, all that appears is previous albums from Yeezus. As for the track list, the rapper’s rep tells E! News that too is bogus.
And although Ye can’t officially be added to the small group of artists to quietly release albums, we are positive when he does, it is sure to be an anomaly.
Laurence Fishburne’s Mom Says She’s Facing Eviction & Actor Won’t Help
Laurence Fishburne’s 80-year-old mother says she’s facing eviction, and she can’t seem to track him down. Hattie Crawford Fishburne spoke with the New York Post about her strained financial situation.
Besides giving him life, Hattie bankrolled the Blackish star’s career (which is something that a parent would do, right?) years ago, and now he won’t even call. As Hattie puts it, “He’s gone Hollywood!”
Hattie says Laurence promised to hold her down. “For 20 years, I funded my son’s career,’’ she said. “He promised me he would take care of me. He promised me a house, a golden retriever, a calico cat. To this day, I have not got a Christmas present or a ‘Thank you, Mama’ present. He hasn’t given me a penny. I’m so hurt and disappointed.”
The last time these two spoke was more than year ago when his father, Laurence Fishburne Jr., died. It’s unclear how they fell out for the second time in the last couple of decades.
In 1994, when Hattie was getting evicted from an apartment in Brooklyn, she blasted her actor offspring for turning a cold shoulder.
This current apartment is a $1,500 a month apartment in Los Angeles. The retired teacher says she can’t cover the rent with the $3,000 a month she gets from a pension and Social Security (a landlord told the Post that the apartment situation has since “changed,” but Hattie still thinks she’s getting booted).
Hattie says she’s suffering form arthritis and other ailments, and is basically broke. “I can’t buy food, clothing and shelter, go to the theater,” she said.“I haven’t bought a dress since I retired. I need to find a benefactor.’’
Laurence’s net worth of $20 million. He hasn’t commented on his mother’s interview.
His last family-related issue to go public involved his daughter, Montana, exploring a career in porn. He obviously didn’t take that well.
Looks like The Game is in trouble AGAIN! He Sucker Punched An Off-Duty Copy
The Game better make sure his lawyer is on point. Turns out the rival basketball player he sucker punched (in self defense, according to the Compton rapper) is an off-duty cop.
We couldn’t make this sh*t up if we really tried.
Reports TMZ: Law enforcement sources tell us the guy who got into it with the rapper during the hoops game over the weekend is a rookie cop … who was off-duty at the time.
It’s interesting — as TMZ first reported … Game is saying the guy threatened him before the fight by hinting he was going to get a gun out of his gym bag. For his part, the punchee told responding officers Game is the one who issued a death threat. Our Game sources say he denies that.
We’re told LAPD is investigating the Game for battery — and also the off-duty officer. If he really did threaten to get his gun … he could be in big trouble.
Let’s point out the obvious—the Game has a history of dishing out fades. Also, as a general rule, cops don’t usually like rappers. This is not a good combination for Jayceon Taylor.
Did T-Pain Diss Aaliyah After Being Criticized For Using Her Vocals In A Song?
Let it be a lesson learned that you should watch your mouth when referring to Aaliyah, at least a lesson learned for T-Pain. Over the weekend T-Pain held a listening session for his latest project where he debuted a new song that featured vocals from an unreleased Aaliyah track titled "Girlfriends". After previewing the track, T-Pain goes into detail about how he's gotten criticism for using Aaliyah's vocals on the song. Let's face it, people still aren't over the Lifetime movie massacre. They're sensitive when it comes to Baby Girl. Hell, they even gave Drake problems. It seems the only person who used her vocals and met little to no criticism was Chris Brown in "They Don't Know".
Anyway, fans weren't too happy when T-Pain likened the criticism to an a****** dying and everyone saying they loved them at the funeral. "I ain't discrediting Aaliyah in any kind of way but you know how when somebody's an a****** their whole life and people go to their funeral like 'this is the greatest man there ever was'..." Instantly T-Pain was heckled and booed by attendees who were trying to figure out why he would insinuate Aaliyah was an a****** or that people only like her now that she's dead. "I'm not saying Aaliyah," Pain answered, "I'm just saying because she passed, nobody's good enough [to use her music]. If she was still alive everyone would be saying 'Ahh she's trying to be like Beyonce'."
Chile, T-Pain, how far in your mouth can you stick your foot?
To be fair, judging from the snippet the song sounds cute and as an Aaliyah stan, I've been waiting for them to finish "Girlfriends" somehow. But T-Pain should consider not speaking. It's not really his strong suit. If he felt Aaliyah was overhyped, why did he opt to use her vocals on a song?
