Former B2K singer is out of his coma and breathing on his own after a club fight in China left him
It was a scary weekend for Raz-B. The the former B2K singer was reportedly on life support and in a coma after breaking up a fight during a club performance in China. Now, the 28-year-old appears to be in stable condition.
Sources close to the singer say that Raz (born De'Mario Thornton) is now breathing on his own, awake and responsive according to TMZ. During a show in China on Thursday, the crooner was hit in the face with a glass bottle after he rushed into the crowd to break up a fight.
Shortly after the initial incident, Raz underwent minor surgery to stitch up a gash on his lip, and issued a statement to TMZ after the procedure was done: "F--k this sh-- hurts," he said."I have a f---ing hole in my lip. Thank God I made it to the hospital."
Though he is doing better, doctors want to keep the singer a few more days to be monitored. Thank God he’s okay!
