Adele Offered To Sing At Michelle Obama’s Birthday: Will She Do It?
It looks like Adele has pretty much become the person to call for a beautiful song sang from her album. Ha. According to reports, everyone is desperate to snag the singer for an event, but the only person the Britain-born starlet is considering on is Michelle Obama. Yes, Adele has been approached with an offer to sing at the First Lady’s 50th birthday party at the White House.
But get this! Michelle’s birthday isn’t until January 17th. However, her team are already preparing on how they can make that particular day the biggest celebration ever, and what better way to do that than to have Adele sing a couple of her hits in front the President and his beautiful wife? Surely, she wouldn’t want to diss Michelle by turning down such a wonderful offer, right?
A source said: “America’s First Lady will be holding a huge celebrity-packed party for her birthday at the White House next year and, as she adores Adele and Beyoncé, she has asked them both to sing. Adele has said she’s still thinking about it and waived her usual fee for the high-profile private performance. She will sing a selection of her most-loved hits for the First Lady and her friends. The Obamas will pay Adele’s expenses as it’s a private party, not a State one.”
Well, Adele hasn’t agreed on doing anything as of yet — she’s still using the “I want to spend time with my son” excuse and has supposedly even turned down Jennifer Aniston’s offer after being asked if she’d want to sing at the actress’ wedding in May. Not even their tight relationship could convince Adele to agree. Wowza!
Beyonce has already confirmed that she’ll sing at Michelle’s birthday.
