Channing Tatum Named People’s Sexiest Man Alive!

Move over, Robert Pattinson . Take a seat, Ryan Gosling. You’re soooo five years ago, Brad Pitt. 
The Sexiest Man Alive, according to People Magazine, is Channing Tatum. 
How did the actor, who bared almost all in Magic Mike this year, react to the news? 

“My first thought was, ‘Y’all are messing with me,’” Tatum tells the publication that awarded him with an honor previously bestowed upon such famous guys like Johnny Depp and George Clooney 

Rihanna GETS NAKED For GQ's "Men Of The Year" Issue, 

Rihanna has been on the cover of several magazines. This time with some sexy twist, the singer goes naked for the upscale GQ magazine. 

For Rihanna, stripping down for cameras is not a problem. And while she has the body to flaunt, the singer grabs every chance and opportunity to display it. On the cover of GQ men's magazine once more, the singer appears completely naked in the picture with only a motorcycle jacket draped over her shoulders. 

The 24-year-old singer decides to give her fans an early Christmas treat by posing naked for the December issue of the magazine. Her recent tattoo under her breasts can be seen in the picture. She got the tattoo as a remembrance of her grandmother Dolly who passed away this year. 

During her interview for the magazine, Rihanna wasasked what it is about men that turn her on. The singer answered and admits that she likes it when a man is able to take charge of the relationship.

"I like to feel like a woman," she said. "I have to be in control in every other aspect of my life, so I feel like in a relationship, I wanted to be able to take a step back and have somebody else take the lead. I could absolutely be dominant, but in general, I'd rather... How do I say this in, like, a non-X rated version?" 

"Love makes you go places you probably wouldn't ever go, had it not been for love. But I think everybody still has their limits," the singer added….Well alright then 

It’s Off To Germany For The Mtv European Music Awards 

Celebs headed over to Frankfurt, Germany this weekend for last night's MTV European Music Awards.  Kanye West was up for an EMA , so he hit up Frankfurt's historic Festhalle with his girl Kim K., who was conveniently asked to be a presenter. 

The twosome cuddled up in the audience...and backstage too: 

Kin rocked a couture Stephane Rolland dress for the occasion, that had a train that looked like cassette tape ribbon. 

Before she hit the stage to perform, Alicia Keys hit the carpet in a green, sheer & black Stella McCartney Summer 2012 Collection dress.  

Good look for her.  And loving the metallic pumps. 

She performed her single "Girl On Fire" with an actual ring of fire present.  Alicia also accepted the Global Icon Award on behalf of Whitney Houston. 

Rita Ora gave us a familiar scene as she hit the stage with her bleached blonde hair and umbrella. 

And clearly chick loves herself some red lace as she rocked a full jumpsuit and matching jacket, plus this lace bodice red gown for the carpet:

She posed it up with Taylor Swift (who copped 3 out of the 5 awards she was nominated for) and Kim.  Nicki Minaj also won for Best Hip Hop.

Rick Ross Sued For Leaving Concert Early 

When Rozay cut an hour long set down to 15 minutes he didn’t anticipate that he’d be hit with a $226,000 lawsuit. 

SM Global Union had a contract with Ross to pay him $90,000 for an hour long set in Miami. When Ross left after only completed a quarter of the set SM Global filed a suit to not only sue Rozay but Meek Mill and Waka Flocka who SM Global Union says did not promote the concert on their social media pages. The company wants $226,000 

Jay-Z and Coldplay Annouce NYE 2012 Concert at Barclays Center NYC 

JAY Z and Coldplay are coming to Barclays Center for two performances, including a special New Years Eve concert LIVE from Brooklyn! 

We’re pleased to announce that, on Monday, 31 December, Coldplay will round off a memorable year by performing a very special co-headline show with JAY Z at Barclays Center, Brooklyn. 

The New Year’s Eve show will be preceded by two headline shows for the band, at the Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT on 29 December and at the Barclays Center, Brooklyn on 30 December. Naturally 7 will be the support act at the December 29 and 30 shows. 

This will be the second time in two years that Coldplay has celebrated new year with long-term friend and collaborator JAY Z, the band having shared the bill with him at a  The Cosmopolitan Grand Opening  2010 in Vegas.. More recently, JAY Z performed onstage with Coldplay at the spectacular London 2012 Paralympic Games Closing Ceremony.

Frank Ski’s Kids Foundation Local Legends Luncheon 

The Frank Ski Kids Foundation hosted the Local Legends Luncheon at Frank Ski’s Restaurant & Lounge. The Local Legend Luncheon Scholarship Program rewards and spotlights deserving senior young ladies and her high school and also gives her a lasting memory as she dines with local legends like Xernona Clayton, Monica Pearson, Keisha Knight-Pulliam, Pearl Cleage and Valerie Jackson. 

The ladies who are apart of the luncheon are exceptional students who are selected for a celebrity lunch by the Frank Ski Kids Foundation to recognize the top outstanding high school students.  The lunch honored Pearl Cleage and Valerie Jackson. 

The event was hosted by Tanya Ski, Pearl Cleage and Valerie Jackson gave insight to the girls on what it takes to become a successful, strong women. 

Certificates of recognition were provided to each girl along with a scholarship in the amount of $1,000 to help toward their college application fees, and tuition. 

The students selected were: Tylon Moore, Mundy’s Mill High School, Clayton County Schools; India McCoy, McEachern High School, Cobb County Schools and Bria Delane, McEachern High School, Cobb County Schools.

Details on Snagging Inauguration 2013 Tickets for Obama’s Re-Election 

Party, anyone? The inauguration ceremony for President Barack Obama will take place on January 21st, 2013 in Washington D.C. With 332 electoral votes to Mitt Romney’s 206, President Obama defeated his running mate, winning his second term in office, causing for political types to celebrate even harder this go ’round. The event will include the swearing-in ceremony, the inaugural address, the parade, and 11 official balls. As a backstory, The inauguration for President Obama’s first presidency in 2009 made record-breaking attendance numbers and was among the most observed events ever on a global level. That ceremony was attended by major celebs, including Beyonce (who performed at the inaugural ball), Oprah Winfrey, and Denzel Washington. No word yet on what big names will be in attendance , but I will keep you updated. 

Some guidelines, for instance, from the office of U.S. Sen. Chris Coons (D-Delaware.):

Demand for Inaugural tickets far exceeds the number available, therefore my office will be conducting a lottery in late December to distribute the tickets alloted to my office. There is a limit of one request per household address.

As a Senator for Delaware, my office is only able to distribute tickets to state residents. You must be a current Delaware resident to receive Inaugural tickets from my office.

Please do not make your travel plans contingent on receiving tickets. My office will do its best to notify you in a timely manner if you have received tickets in the lottery.

Tickets will most likely be for standing room only areas. Due to crowds, security procedures and the length of the ceremonies, ticket holders should expect to be standing outside in winter weather for several hours.

All children old enough to walk must have their own ticket. Strollers are not allowed in any ticketed areas. Event organizers discourage bringing young children to the Inaugural ceremonies due to weather conditions, the length of time you will spend standing and limited access to restroom and dining facilities.

There are many ways to participate in the Inaugural festivities that do not a require ticket. While a ticket may place you physically closer to the swearing-in itself, the majority of people will view the Inaugural ceremonies from the National Mall where tickets are not required.

Following the presidential inauguration ceremony at the Capitol will be the traditional parade on Pennsylvania Avenue which will end at the White House, where an official reviewing stand is also under construction.

Organized by the Joint Task Force-Military District of Washington, participants are selected by the Presidential Inaugural Committee. Marching bands, marching units, mounted units and other performers are collected by the Armed Forces Inaugural Committee and are currently accepting applications to perform. 

However, Tickets are not needed for the parade.

Tickets for the event are in high demand, and nearby hotels are already booked up. Senators and representatives that were elected will distribute the tickets for the swearing-in ceremony in January. Here are a few tips if you are planning on attending: 

Don’t make travel plans until you get a ticket confirmation. 

Due to crowds, tickets will most likely be for standing room only. 

Children that are old enough to walk must have a ticket. 

Strollers are not allowed in ticketed areas. 

Even if you don’t have a ticket, the majority of people will be viewing the ceremony from the National Mall where a ticket is not required.

Did Bobby Brown Disrespect Whitney Houston At Las Vegas Club? 

During the Soul Train Awards weekend in Las Vegas, New Edition put on a helluva performance. Saturday night, the group, Bobby Brown included, performed at the event’s LIVE concert. One of the big after parties went down at Las Vegas’ ‘Vanity’ night club. So what’s the story here? Well, Bobby Brown (and Miguel) were in attendance (along with a number of club-goers) and according to reports, at one point in the evening Bobby hopped on the mic and popped slick. 

What happened? An insider gave an account saying that when he was on the mic, some of the folk in the crowd started yelling Whitney Houston’s name and that sorta-kinda annoyed Bobby. I checked in w/ a few attendees and all give a conflicting account on what he actually said about her (some say he said ‘He’s a married man and his wife is…’, while other say he said ‘I’m not here for her or that, I’m Bad A** Bobby Brown’…etc.). What we know for sure is that DJ Franzen (who was DJ’ing the party) was not here for whatever negativity Bobby, allegedly said. Reportedly, he pulled Bobby’s mic, mid club rant and recounted his version of what happened on twitter:
