Boris Kodjoe and More Honored At The 2012 AdColor Awards
The 2012 AdColor Awards took place last week. Boris Kodjoe, Soledad O’Brien of CNN and rapper David Banner were among the celebrities who helped founder Tiffany R. Warren celebrate the sixth annual AdColor Awards and Industry Conference, an elaborate soiree that illuminated advertising excellence in the minority community.
Boris Kodjoe, a conscious actor, philanthropist and entrepreneur was honored with the 2012 ADCOLOR All-Star Award presented by Omnicom Group. Past All-Star Award recipients include influential members in multicultural society like: Actor-comedian George Lopez, television host Cristina Saralegui, activist, entrepreneur and “Father of Hip-Hop,” Russell Simmons, businessman and former NBA champion Earvin “Magic” Johnson and Queen Latifah, multiplatinum recording artist and award-winning actress.
Additionally, Soledad O’Brien, Host of CNN’s “Starting Point” & Co-Founder of the Soledad O’Brien & Brad Raymond Foundation also received The CATALYST award presented by Draftfcb in honor of her exceptional track record in the media industry. In attendance at the 2012 ADCOLOR Awards were David Banner, rapper/ entrepreneur; Michele Thornton, Vice President, TV Adsales, Centric TV; and Harry Shum Jr., dancer, actor-Glee, choreographer and singer. Tracey Edmonds Launching ‘Alright TV’ in March
Tracey Edmonds is expanding her TV, film and music empire. This summer, we learned that Tracey was joining forces with BET founder, Bob Johnson, to launch a new faith-friendly channel called, ‘Alright TV’. According to reports, the channel, which will be led by Tracey and hosted on YouTube, will feature inspirational programming geared towards family related issues. Tracey confirmed the news in a release, explaining:
“Alright TV will offer first rate buzz-worthy content in the areas of comedy, reality, self-help, music, and talk that promises to empower and entertain family audiences of all ethnicities and socio-economic backgrounds.”
Tracey recently announced that folks can expect to watch the new show, next March 2013.

That is a DAMN shame… How do you go from being one of the youngest stars on top, to now a thousandaire…? That is crazy, but according to CelebrityNetWorth.com, Bow Wow’s net worth is $10,000! In the land of Hollywood- where bottles of Ace alone go up to $5,000 a night, the former ‘Lil Bow Wow’ child star is hurting to pay child support???? Bow Wow just found his self in trouble after lying to court after his new role on 106 And Park. Bow Wow claimed he only received $4,000 from his label YMCMB so the judge ordered him to pay $3,000 a month for child support for baby Shai. This was before they learned about his new BET gig. I refuse to believe that bow wow is broke! Bow Wow used to sell records and had hits. Dont forget about the movies & guest tv spotsand he had those sold out scream tours every year! I think he doesn’t want his baby mama to take all his money so hes hiding it…letting cars that he dont drive no more get repo to prove a point to the courts. Just my opinion..

Q Parker CELEBRATES "The MANual" RELEASE In ATL With FRIENDS!
Q Parker celebrated the release of The MANual at Aurum in Atlanta.
Q, who hopes the disc will foster better communication among couples, posed with his wife Sharlinda at the party. Sharlinda, may be appearing on the STYLE Network's upcoming "Big Rich Atlanta" series (a spinoff of "Big Rich Texas") as a friend posted a "congrats" on her Facebook timeline saying, "Congrats on your new album Q. And congrats on Big Rich Atlanta Sharlinda!"
Sharlinda, who posed with daughter Kahdijiha Rowe and her twin sister Sabrina, has not confirmed her casting (and neither has STYLE) but there are already reports about Kahdijiha getting into a fight with a "cast member" who has quit the show because of the brawl. And since the "Big Rich" series usually pairs mother and daughters, it would seem like Sharlinda is involved as well.
Life coach and wellness expert AJ Johnson came out to support Q.
Former Day 26 singer Anthony Q was seen at the release.
R&B singer Sammy bundled up in a cap, scarf and sweatshirt to support The MANual.
"R&B Divas" co-stars Nicci Gilbert and Syleena Johnson posed together.
Former Destiny's Child member Latavia Roberson also hit the red carpet with Syleena. Latavia's still looking fab these days.

Ne-Yo's fiancee Monyetta Shaw kept her outfit simple pairing black leggings with a white blouse and black top. Looks like she's getting that post baby bod action in after having her 2 little ones back to back.

Rihanna Releasing $250 ‘Unapologetic’ Special Edition Album
Rihanna offering special edition of new album for $250, and fans are venting their outrage at the cost. RiRi will release her sixth studio album on Nov. 16, and die hard fans are particularly being targeted with the $250 deluxe version, which is said to be a “limited edition art piece for a true collector,” according to Us Magazine. Fans our going in on social networking site Twitter, where Rihanna’s $250 deluxe album has been a hot topic.

Beyonce Spotted In The Studio With Miguel
Hmmm… Wonder what these two are cooking up.
Miguel shared the photo via Twitter of him in the studio alongside Beyonce, and it was captioned; “…woah. creating for Virgo’s all weekend.” He didn’t give any addtional deets on what they’re working on, but Bey recently released a video of herself in the studio looking over some music, so maybe we can look forward to a hot new track from the two of them on her upcoming fifth studio album.

Actress Lisa Bonet (who most of us fell in love with as Denise on ‘The Cosby Show’) has remixed her new hair. For years, the 44-year-old actress has rocked waist length locs. And recently, she stepped out at an event, with a shaved side, channeling her inner Cassie. And while we’re certainly a fan of all things shaved, loc’ed, with a salt-and-pepper-remix, some folk aren’t really feeling it. What do you think of Lisa’s new shaved side–is it NOT age appropriate (is she too old to rock this style) or are you a fan?
Video: Mya – “Take Him Out” (Ft Spice)
Mya’s back on the music scene, and has dropped a brand new video for her single “Take Him Out,” which appears on the deluxe edition of her latest album K.I.S.S..
The 33 year-old went with a Reggae vibe, enlisting Reggae artist Spice for a feature on the track. In the video, Mya handles washing the clothes, cleaning the house, and goes to work as a trash collector; while her man stays home keeping the couch warm.
It’s a colorful clip with a few black & white dance scenes from Mya and her accompanying ladies.

Neffe has given several interviews about her book and there's been no hint of any tea spilling concerning her famous sister or her mother. Neffe says the book is intended to help people in similar situations to keep pushing forward.
The launch party for Neffe's book is scheduled for November 10th at Kandi Burruss' Tags boutique in Atlanta.
Adrienne Bailon Lands More TV Time, Announces ‘X Factor’ Gig
Reality star Adrienne Bailon has landed a new TV gig. According to a few tweets, the ‘Empire Girls’ reality star just announced that she’s joining ‘X-Factor’.
The former Cheetah Girl will be a new Pepsi PreShow Live host, along with Jesse Giddings. This comes on the heels of fans learning that both Khloe Kardashian and Mario Lopez will host the show. This week, Simon Cowell tweeted:
So the good news is X factor is going out live this week on Wednesday and Thursday. The show is going to be incredible. At rehearsals now.
