BAD NEWS FOR KELLY ROWLAND; Kelly Rowland Debuts Low in the UK

Kelly Rowland's presence on UK television doesn't appear to be helping her records sales. Kells's cd "Here I Am" debuted at #56 on the UK music charts, after an equally poor showing in the US.

Awwww, That is SAD I happen to like the CD. I hope things look up better for her in the future. I think she promising!

Mary Mary Christmas Tour Cancelled: Doctor Grounds Pregnant Erica

As Erica Campbell’s due date nears, Mary Mary has cancelled the “Have A Mary Mary Christmas Tour” to give the expectant mother some time to rest.

The group has been on the go non-stop this year reaping the rewards from the “something Big” project, keeping a whirlwind, cross-country schedule making promotional appearances and collecting several awards. All this while they are in the process of prepping for their very own reality show. But SOMETHING BIGGER is in store.the third child of Erica and the group’s producer, Warryn Campbell.
Doctors advised that keeping pace with such a rigorous schedule placed her at risk for pre-mature delivery. The projected due date is February 12 (incidentally the day of the 2012 Grammys) Erica said in a recent interview.

The following apology was issued on Facebook:

“Sorry everyone, we had to cancel the “Have A Mary Mary Christmas Tour.” Just know that I have the greatest passion for whom I sing about and a great love and respect for whom I sing to, so I’ll be back to what I liv for as soon as I take care of mommy business.” – Erica Campbell

Tuesday, was also the deadline date for the “Something Big” contest where churches had a chance win a free concert from Mary Mary. All dates are cancelled including a scheduled New Year performance.

Given the medical opinion, the ladies recognize what their priorities must be.

Vivica Fox Talks Ending Engagement

Vivica Fox is opening up for the first time about her called off engagement to Omar "Slimm" White... Vivica hit up "Access Hollywood" this week and opened up for the first time about her break up with Slimm. As it was first reported, the two called it quits months ago, and haven't spoken since.

So when host Billy Bush asked her about being ringless, Vivica said they are indeed no longer engaged, and she feels it's ok to call things off at ANY time before the wedding when you just don't feel right. She spoke about the warning signs she saw and how it was difficult finding someone to marry her for HER...not for the celebrity she is. And not for taking them on a shopping spree. WOMP!
She then said she fell in love with a six pack and a smile...and look where that got her. Ha!

Viv revealed she's enjoying staying single for now and was ready to do the family thing, i.e. kids. So she's open to dating again.

She also dished about her new Hallmark Channel movie, Annie Claus is Coming To Town. Nice.

T.J HOLMES CHANED INITIALS CNN for BET!

CNN news anchor TJ Holmes just made a major move. He's leaving his post at the mega media company--Turner Broadcasting Company--for a multi-platform deal with BET Networks!
TJ is a well-known, well-respected reporter and anchor for the news channel (as well as one of the cutest), so it came as a surprise to most when the announcement was made today. According to BET's press release:

BET Networks announced today a multi-platform talent agreement with award-winning journalist and television personality, T.J. Holmes. The deal with Holmes includes a new show on BET as well as content on BET.com in which he can bring his many talents to some of the most important and interesting stories to BET’s audience.

About the switch up, BET's Stephen G. Hill, President of Music Programming and Specials at BET Networks, commented:

“We are simply ecstatic to have T.J. Holmes coming to our fold. He’s been an outstanding news anchor and we look forward to working with him in a variety of new ways on BET. It’s now upon us to develop vehicles that capture his intelligence, curiosity about the world, warmth, humor and compassion. It’s a challenge that we are happy to have. We look forward to weaving T.J.’s mixture of credibility and charisma into our fabric.”
That is good news. It should bring BET back into the news reporting fold they once were instead of all this “ish” on their networks now!

Prince William & Kate’s Royal Christmas Ornament

It has been an incredible year for Prince William and Kate Middleton, and things just keep getting better for the Royal newlyweds.
According to a report, the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have received a custom-designed Christmas ornament to commemorate their first holiday season as husband and wife.
The ornament is blue, gold, and white and embossed with the initials “W” and “C.” The words, “Duke and Duchess of Cambridge, 29th April 2011” are also inscribed referring to their wedding date.

Royal Crown Derby, the ornament’s manufacturer, is selling the 22-carat gold-embossed pieces for $130 each.

Jennifer Hudson looking FAB for Vanity Fair

She might have lost weight recently but one thing is certain, Jennifer Hudson has certainly lost none of her charm.
The 30-year-old singer looked every inch the Hollywood star as she posed in a flowing sunshine gown in Los Angeles.
The strapless chiffon ensemble not only brought plenty of glamour but it also emphasised Jennifer’s curves to perfection.

Jennifer was looking sultry as she pouted her rose tinted lips towards the camera and stroked her fingers through the loose curves in her hair.
The amber dress complemented her skin tone to perfection and nipped her in at her tiny waist before flowing down covering her feet in the swathes of chiffon.

Jennifer’s glamorous appearance was in aid of a Vanity Fair photo shoot which took place in Los Angeles.
Last week Jennifer looked as pretty as a princess as she took to the stage at the Disney Magic Kingdom Christmas parade in Florida.
The American Idol star donned a larger than life ball gown which boasted shining silver embellishment and huge layered skirt.

Beyonce Being Sued For $100 Million Over Unreleased Video Game

Beyonce Knowles has recently been issued a lawsuit by video game makers Gate Five who are asking the singer to pay $100 million for not honoring their original contract for a video game developed in her honor. The game was in the middle of development when Beyonce supposedly abruptly pulled out of the multi-million dollar project and Gate Five is not happy. Check inside for more on this new developing suit against the pregnant singer.

The video game deal was originally put on the table in mid 2010 where the singer was excited about creating a game called ‘Starpower: Beyonce’, which no doubt would have been a hot commodity but for some reason the singer backed out of the entire deal after already agreeing to the production. Gate Five first tried to sue Beyonce in April of 2011 with claims that her removal from the project put 70 staff members out of jobs and created the business a loss of over $7 million that goes along with the the $100 million probability of profits earned. When she pulled out, Gate Five claims they were unaware of the singer not wanting to ink the deal anymore and was left with a lot of baggage to deal with.
Beyonce’s legal team has tried to dismiss Gate Five’s case to only have the Manhattan Supreme Court on Tuesday regect them and rule that there will indeed continue to be a lawsuit…….Merry Christmas.

Beyonce is reportedly worth 3x that lawsuit amount and thats not including her networth with business savvy hubby Jay Z so we dont see this lawsuit ruffling her feathers at all. What do you think about this new lawsuit against the Queen B?

Terrell Owens Birthday On a Budget
Terrell Owens turned 38 Last week and he's getting wiser with age ... because instead of dropping a fortune on a birthday blowout ... the financially strapped football star has decided to celebrate on the cheap.
For years, T.O. would spend thousands of dollars to honor his special day with high-end bashes all over the country.

But now that he's low on green ... Owens has decided to do the responsible thing ... and have a low-key birthday dinner with his GF and some close friends.
Owens has been telling friends he feels "humbled" by his recent financial troubles ... insisting he's "more grateful for those that love him and have stayed in his corner."
As for his future in the NFL ... we're told T.O. is still confident he'll be back in the league by the end of the year. I don’t think so.

Discovery CEO: Key to OWN Success is Black Viewers

*Discovery Communications CEO David Zaslav on Tuesday urged patience for OWN after insisting his cable network joint venture with Oprah Winfrey will only grow over the next two years.

“My job, Oprah’s job, is to create a meaningful audience for OWN over the next two years. That’s what you should watch for and we’re on our way,” Zaslav told the UBS 

Global Media and Communications Conference when asked about recent bumps in the road for the launch of the U.S. cable network.
Besides Winfrey being more hands-on with OWN, another weapon to secure long-terms goals for a TV channel devoted to improving people’s lives are African-American viewers.

Zaslav pointed to the docu-series “Welcome to Sweetie Pie’s” on Saturday night, about an African-American family running a soul food restaurant, and a recent episode of “Our America With Lisa Ling” that profiled African-American men in prison. Both shows outperformed with African-American TV viewers.
“The African-American community is finding OWN faster than the rest of America,” Zaslav said. Another potential hit show that will drive viewers to the cable network is Winfrey’s new talk show “Oprah’s Next Chapter” and a reality show surrounding legendary African American model Beverly Johnson.

Zaslav insisted advertisers remain supportive of OWN.

“We’re just getting going. They’re (advertisers) are excited about the mission,” he said.
“We just have a fair amount of work to do over the next two years,” the Discovery Communications topper added.

Charles Grant Arrested for Bad Checks
Colquitt County arrested Charles Grant who appeared on last week’s RHOA was recently arrested for writing bad checks. The thing is that this charge is a felony because the amount of the check was over $500. This isn't just overdrawing your account at the Piggly Wiggly y'all. Charles has been in some trouble before, like that whole time the pregnant chick died in the barfight in Louisiana. Let's hope he is not on probation or he could be in a world of hurt. Bless his heart, I hope he can come up with some cash to retain a lawyer!

But you do know that Birds of a feather because Marlo was caught up in the same ish herself a few times before.

I wonder if Charles regrets saying about NeNe that he "took that piece back to the hotel" because he wanted nothing to do with her. Since she's "very rich" and all she could have helped him out. NeNe posted on her Bravo blog this week about the snippy behavior at Peter's Bar 1 opening and Charles complaining that she didn't speak to him:

I spoke to those I wanted to speak to and those who didn't get a hello knew why. I spoke to as many guests as possible and had a couple glasses of wine. Bar One is a beautiful lounge in a nice location. These girls will not give credit where it's due, because their goal is to tear you down and put out false information, just as they tried to do with me, Gregg, and Charles. But that didn't work either!

Bravo reported that the show got 3.3 million total viewers. And Season 4 is up 27% from last season.

BONUS: Word on the street is that NeNe's nemesis Sheree is in hot water. The contractor of "Chateau Sheree" is allegedly a fraud and has been issued a cease & desist letter. No surprise there. Never thought for a minute Sheree "I-got-my-Aston Martin-reposessed" Whitfield was about to build this mansion from the ground up.

Meanwhile, NeNe is supposedly filming an upcoming episode of "Glee."

Real Housewives of Atlanta" newcomer Marlo Hampton has split with NFLer (and NeNe's rumored former side piece) Charles Grant. She also spoke on his recent arrest...
Charles Grant, who appeared alongside Marlo on this past week's episode of RHOA, was arrested last week on felony charges involving bad checks. Marlo, who is not yet an official co-star, confirmed that not only is the arrest news true, but the two have called off their engagement:

"I truly regret that this has happened to him”,says Marlo "While my relationship with Charles ended earlier this year, I hope he will put these challenging circumstances behind him and move forward."
No wonder she and NeNe have been acting like besties for months now.

SHADE??? Janice Dickinson Says America's Next Top Model is Rigged???

Outspoken former super model Janice Dickinson says America's Next Top Model is rigged and that Covergirl ultimately picks the winners.
Janice Dickinson is known for being outspoken, but she's really going after her former boss Tyra Banks and "America's Next Top Model."

In an interview for FilmOn posted Monday, the supermodel turned reality TV star says the modeling competition, which she served as a judge from Seasons 1-4, is rigged.

Janice says she quit the show after realizing her vote never counted. Instead, she claims CoverGirl ultimately picks the winner (the winning model signs a $100,000 contract with the cosmetics company and appears in nationwide campaigns).
The video refutes earlier statements Janice made saying she was fired from the show. Back in 2005, she told Radar Magazine, "I got fired. After a few episodes I began getting labeled a bitch, and that got to me. I was just telling the truth and I was saving these girls from going out there and being told that they're too short, too fat, their skin's not good enough. I was to 'America's Next Top Model' what Simon Cowell is to 'American Idol.'"

Janice Dickinson's bold claims come right before the finale of "America's Next Top Model: All Stars." Previews for Wednesday's episode show that one of the three finalists is disqualified after disclosing information to the producers. The disqualification would be a first in the show's 17 seasons -- and to come during the finale will surely raise questions.
The CW, the network that airs "Top Model," has no comment. Sources close to production tell toofab Dickinson's claims are absolutely not true. Calls to Covergirl and 10x10 Productions were not returned.

Chanel Iman has a bottle perfume that cost ONE MILLION DOLLARS?

It is said the rich-poor divide has never been more pronounced. And now, the launch of a million dollar perfume is set to really divide the haves and the have nots.
Encrusted with diamonds and rare gemstones, the luxury perfume bottle costs a whopping $1 million, or £750m.
Thankfully though, it's all in aid of charity.

Celebrity jeweller Martin Katz teamed up with designers at DKNY to create the glittering masterpiece, which is set to go on a world tour before being sold off for humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger.

The apple-shaped bottle is carved from yellow and white gold and sparkles with 2,700 round brilliant white diamonds weighing 15.17 carats.
On the side the Manhattan skyline is shaped out of 183 golden yellow sapphires, which are set into top quality white gold.
The cap is embellished with a 2.43 carat flawless vivid yellow canary diamond, while yet more diamonds make up the DKNY logo.

Katz, whose team spent over 1,500 hours making the bottle, is known in Hollywood for his creative use of rare and unusual diamonds.
He is famed for decorating the stars at the Oscars, Golden Globe and Emmy Awards.
The opulent bottle will be exhibited around the world before it is finally sold from DKNY's facebook page next year.

All proceeds will to Action Against Hunger - an international humanitarian charity.

Down in Atlanta Radio Personality Frank Ski’s 8th Annual Wine Tasting Event
Following the success of his YouthBowl event, Frank Ski held his 8th annual Wine Tasting Event at Frank Ski’s Restaurant and Lounge.Guest that were in attendence were Greg Street, Devyone Stephens and many of Atlanta’s past Mayors including Kasim Reed, Shirley Franklin, Bill Campbell, and Andrew Young plus more. The event was filled with decretive art, easy listening music, and was overall an eloquent event.

Napa Valley honored Frank Ski by giving him huge bottles of wine to be auctioned off. Greg Street was also honored at the wine tasting, not only for donating to the Frank Ski Kids Foundation, but also for contributing so much to the community and helping out our youth.

This was the first time Frank Ski held his wine tasting event anywhere public, where as it’s usually held in the private comfort of someone’s home.

All of the funds raised that night went to the Frank Ski Kid Foundation.

She is no doubt one of the most high profile and controversial stars to agree to grace the magazine's front cover.
But Lindsay Lohan’s Playboy cover shot big reveal has been thwarted and a picture of the upcoming issue has been leaked online.
The 25-year-old actress is seen straddling a Playboy bunny shaped chair which manages to cover her modesty, but reveals the curve of her breasts.

Wearing just a pair of black high heels, Lindsay has her hair in big blonde curls falling around her shoulders, and she is seen pouting into the camera with bright red lips, matching her seat and the curtains in the backdrop.
Lindsay, who was reportedly paid $1million for the shoot, had planned to reveal her nude cover on the Ellen DeGeneres show on December 15.

The actress had to pose for the magazine photographers twice, as the original attempt did not satisfy Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.

Speaking about the snaps which appear in the January/ February issue of the magazine, Hefner spoke about the inspiration behind the racy shots.

He said: 'It's a classic tribute, inspired by the original Tom Kelley nude pictorial of Marilyn Monroe. [It's] classy, very classy,' the New York Post reported.
'It turned out very well. I would say that I had some reservations early on, but after a couple of false steps, everybody came on board and it's going to be very exciting,' Hefner added.
At the time Lindsay posed for the photos, Dina Lohan, Lindsay's mother said the shoot was 'tastefully done'.

Speaking to The Insider's Christina McLarty she said: 'It was an opportunity for her and she's done thousands and thousands of covers, so this was just something...she's 25 now. It was just something that was her decision...we have a contractual say in how far it goes and her and Mr. Hefner will decide.'

Dina continued: 'She'll pick five covers, he'll pick the one, but she has a say. I don't want to get into the contract, but it will be tastefully done.'
This is not the first time that Lindsay has bared all for a magazine, in 2008 she covered herself in just a sheer pink scarf posing on the front of New York magazine.
Lindsay has been keeping a fairly low profile of late and last month she spent just four and a half hours in jail, after being released early from her 30-day sentence, due to overcrowding.

The sentence also requires Lohan to undergo 18 psychotherapy sessions and appear monthly at court hearings between December 2011 and March 2012, she also has to complete more community service.
