Ciara for Cosmopolitan US  November 2018 says she Worked Out 3 Times a Day After Giving Birth to Daughter Sienna!
Ciara is opening up about her health and fitness routine.

The stunning "Dose" singer is on the cover of Cosmopolitan's November issue, in which she opens up about everything from her ambition to dealing with trolls to her workout routine after giving birth to baby girl Sienna Princess Wilson last year. Ciara and husband Russell Wilson welcomed their daughter Sienna in April 2017, she also shares a 4-year-old son, Future Zahir Wilburn, with her ex, Future.

After giving birth to Sienna, Ciara tells Cosmo she hit the gym up to three times a day.
"It was kind of like, wake up in the morning, breastfeed, eat a small meal, go train, come back in, breastfeed, eat another meal, go train, then come back, have another meal, and then a third training session at night," she tells the magazine. "It was a good challenge, one I set for myself, not for anyone else. Taking care of myself makes me feel really good. And I want to keep it sexy too, you know."
With a seventh album on the way, Ciara continues to deliver hits for her fans, like her latest song "Dose," which dropped last month. Talking about her ambition with Cosmo, Ciara shares, "I never thought, I can't be because of the color of my skin, I can't be because of my gender. No dream is too big. I want to be a billionaire. The more resources, the more you can do. But I think my greatest accomplishment 10 years from now is that I would have a successful life as it pertains to my marriage and being a mom. It's cool to want to do all these creative things, but it's no good to gain the world if you lose your soul."
Ciara also shares that she was inspired by Destiny's Child after watching them perform on a morning news show.

"They were killing it, and I just went, 'This is what I want to do. I'm gonna be an entertainer,'" she recalls. "The first goal I wrote down was to get discovered. The second was to sell 3 to 4 million records. Third, have longevity."

As a result of all of her success, Ciara has to deal with unwanted attention from trolls online. So how does she deal with it?
"When someone comes for you and you didn't send for them, you keep your eye on the prize," she tells Cosmo. "I know what my mission is. I know what I'm hoping for and working hard for every day. And that's my focus. I'm not going to let people steal my joy. I move on. New day, new opportunity, new energy, let's go."

Cosmo's November issue hits newsstands on Oct. 9.

Fox and CBS tied for first in Wednesday’s ratings, when the season premieres for “Empire” and “Star” duked it out with the start to a new “Survivor” and the Season 20 finale of “Big Brother.”

ABC’s “A Million Little Things,” the lone drama series premiere on broadcast last night, got off to a bit of a slow start at 10 p.m. It’s direct lead-in, the debut of “Single Parents,” didn’t exactly light the world on fire either. The new shows fared fine in their ABC time slots.

Rihanna makes surprise appearance at Sephora in Singapore for Fenty Beauty anniversary
Rihanna makes a surprise visit to Sephora Ion Orchard in Singapore to mark the first anniversary of her makeup line, Fenty Beauty, on Oct 1, 2018.

Even pop star Rihanna needed a touch up after making a surprise appearance at Sephora Ion Orchard on Monday (Oct 1) where a crowd had gathered to catch a glimpse of her.
The founder of Fenty Beauty used her own Invisimatte Blotting Powder to do the job.
Hot off an appearance and masterclass in Dubai over the weekend, she made her way to the store at about 9.45pm to celebrate the first anniversary of the brand.
Around 200 invited guests and media were at the store as the 30-year-old Barbadian mingled with beauty fans and posed for selfies. A sizeable crowd of hundreds had gathered outside the store hours before she arrived.

The star, whose real name is Robyn Rihanna Fenty, was joined by Fenty make-up artists Hector Espinal and Priscilla Ono.

Just before the event, she announced her surprise appearance via Instagram stories, saying "Surprise Singapore! I'm here! Come meet me @sephorasg ion mall tonight. We ain't done celebrating @fentybeauty's anniversary yet. Can't wait to see ya there!"
The brand, which launched worldwide in September last year, is best known for introducing an inclusive, much-lauded 40-shade foundation range.

Since then, the line has expanded to include everything from eyeliner and eyeshadow palettes, to lipsticks and brushes.
The most recent additions to the range were four shades of her long-wear Stunna Lip Paints liquid lipstick. Initially, it came only in a universal shade of red, called Uncensored, meant to match any skin tone. The new shades, which were released one by one online via Sephora over the past week, are also universal shades. They are Unveil, a light brown, Uncuffed, a rosey mauve, Unbutton, a peachy nude and Uninvited, a rich black shade.

As of Monday, the liquid lipsticks are also available in Sephora stores.
On Sunday, Rihanna was in Dubai for the first live Fenty Beauty Artistry & Beauty Talk with 250 fans.

Fenty Beauty is produced by the Kendo division of French luxury goods conglomerate LVMH, which makes cosmetics for popular labels such as Marc Jacobs Beauty and Kat Von D Beauty.

Halle Berry Rips Apart White Man Who Tried to Accuse Her of Sexual Assault
Someone accused Halle Berry of sexually assaulting him, and the actress was none too pleased about it. In fact, not only did Berry deny it, she blasted the accuser and got a big response for it.

“Bumped into Halle at a party,” wrote a man name Heath Wilson under Berry’s comment section of an unrelated post. “I was a little drunk and knocked the drink out of her hand. I tried to apologize, but she grabbed me by my genitalia and said ‘This is how you can say sorry.’ I told her no, but she persisted.”
“I was lucky enough to get away but imagine how many of her victims weren’t able to escape her clutches,” the man added. “Just telling my truth. #whowillstandwithme.”

“I don’t know you, bruh,” responded Berry. “And you don’t get to make comments about me like this. I have never met you, nor have I ever disrespected anyone the way you have suggested. Now get a life and get the f— off my page with that bullsh–. Peace chicken grease.”

After Berry’s response, Wilson made his Instagram page private, so it’s safe to assume he was blasted by her fans as well.

Meanwhile, a lot of folks seemed surprised by the actress’ words and tone. Others, however, said they knew she could get a little “hood” if necessary.
“I knew about Halle when I saw the outtakes from her on the ‘Bernie Mac Show,’” one person wrote. “Tasha jumps up like she was going to get out the casket and do something. When Halle said ‘Well, get your ass out then,’ I screamed and watched that clip at least five more times. She was so smooth and natural with it so yeah, I can see her typing every single word of that response.”

“People always act shocked when a Halle or Obama or Mariah’s Black[ness] flies out their ass,” another person wrote. “They are old school, mixed people who identify with Blackness. They know what the game is, and I’m sure have had to defend themselves too many times to name.”
There were also some who said the accuser was trying to ride the coattails of the #MeToo movement, and they thanked Berry for setting him straight.
“I’m glad she gathered him,” one person commented.
“This made me cackle,” someone else wrote. “I love this. Go Ms. Berry.”

#BROADWAYNEWS: Kinky Boots will end its NYC run on April 2019!
“Kinky Boots,” the Cyndi Lauper-Harvey Fierstein collaboration that won the best new musical Tony Award in 2013, will end its Broadway run next spring.
The lead producers, Daryl Roth and Hal Luftig, said Friday night that the final performance will be next April 7. At that point, the show will have had 34 preview and 2,507 regular performances, making it the 25th-longest-running Broadway production in history.
The musical has been a significant hit — it has grossed $297 million just on Broadway, and it is also currently on tours in North America and Britain, and playing in London and Hamburg, Germany. There have also been productions in Korea, Canada, Australia and Japan (where the show returns next spring).

The musical, adapted from a 2005 film, is an inspirational and rousing tuner about a young Englishman who decides to make boots for drag performers in an effort to save his family’s shoe factory. The show, which won six Tony Awards, features music and lyrics by Ms. Lauper, a book by Mr. Fierstein and direction by Jerry Mitchell.

NYPD Sergeant Says Promotion Was Denied Due To His Support Of Colin Kaepernick
According to The Daily News, an NYPD sergeant is claiming his promotion was denied  Friday due to his support for Colin Kaepernick.
Sgt. Edwin Raymond, 33, said he was scheduled to be promoted until cops under him reported allegations regarding his handling of two domestic violence complaints.

“It is unfortunate. I did a press conference in support of Colin Kaepernick, using his status to put a spotlight on issues in policing that need to be fixed,” Raymond claimed. “Because of the controversy a lot of cops criticized him. Me being aligned with him was seen as standing with the enemy.”

Raymond scored No. 26 out of 1,325 sergeants on his lieutenants’ test.
Ed Mullins, the president of the Sergeants Benevolent Association, said the case is yet another example of a double standard and criticized the NYPD’s disciplinary system.

“Decisions are made on the sly, and there are people who have pending charges and still get promoted, and others whose promotions are held back for reasons that are never explained,” Mullins said. “If this doesn’t appear to be retaliation, then I don’t know what is.”
Two former federal prosecutors and a federal judge are looking currently looking into the case. A senior police official said the department received complaints about Raymond’s conduct in enforcing orders of protection and an investigation is pending.

“The department takes domestic violence very seriously and is obligated to look at these incidents,” the official said.  The NYPD declined to comment.
Raymond was featured in the documentary “Crime and Punishment,” where he talked about quota-driven cops manipulating their power.

“Quota-driven broken windows policing causes more collateral damage — arrests and summonses for their own sake. It doesn’t affect crime,” said Raymond.
The allegations against him refer to an incident Sept. 17, 2017. Police in Brooklyn North responded to a domestic violence call claiming that a woman saw an ex-boyfriend and called 911. When the cops got there, they checked their phone and saw an order of protection, yet Raymond let him go anyway.

Raymond says that story is false. He claims the man was sitting in his vehicle with his current girlfriend when the ex, and mother of his three children, walked by. She took a bat and bashed in his car mirror. The man fled from the car and called 911. The angry ex then ran inside to her mother’s building.
Raymond says when he arrived, he spoke with the man, who asked the cop not to arrest her. “She’s the mother of my kids,” the man said. “The damage to my car won’t cost anything.”

Raymond gave the message to responding officers not to arrest him. The cops then said the woman has an order of protection against him and wanted to arrest him anyway. The man has been arrested 20 times prior.
“It was nonsense,” Raymond says. They (the cops) completely manipulated the situation…They turned the woman into the victim.”
“These cops went thinking the numbers would give their claims more plausibility, and unfortunately the department is choosing to entertain this and use it as a dagger to end my promotion,” Raymond claims. “They are not happy with me. I don’t enjoy having to speak out, but it’s historically what makes the department budge.”

Jemele Hill Joins The Atlantic As Staff Writer Covering “Intersection of Sports, Race, Politics, Gender and Culture”
Back in August, host Jemele Hill announced her departure from ESPN after nearly 12 years with the company, following a slew of controversies surrounding sports and politics.
Since then, Hill has signed on as a columnist for The Undefeated, and according to a new announcement, Hill will also be joining The Atlantic as a staff writer, focusing on “the intersection of sports, race, politics, gender, and culture.”

The magazine’s editor-in-chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, announced the news on Monday morning in a tweet, in which Hill quickly confirmed.

“Jemele is a wonderfully talented journalist who is famous for her acute commentary, fearless writing and encyclopedic knowledge of sports, Goldberg continued in a statement. “But what drew us to Jemele, in particular, is her deep commitment to reporting.”
In turn, Hill said the new move “made perfect sense,” as she will use her new opportunity to discuss the crossroads of race, sports, and politics, just months after facing criticisms for drawing the same comparisons at ESPN.

“You can’t talk about sports without talking about race, class, gender, and politics,” she said in a statement. “I want to explore the complications and discomforts with a publication that has a long history of supporting this kind of work.

Louis CK Performs At Comedy Cellar Again, to the Anger of Many!
Louis C.K. performed a set at New York City’s Comedy Cellar again this weekend and apparently still won’t address his sexual misconduct.

The disgraced comedian popped into the club for a surprise set on Sunday night for the second time since last fall, when he admitted to sexual misconduct. Two people at the show spoke about it.

“When [Louis C.K.] got up he expressed gratitude for the cellar/audience having him, and that he knows not everybody is happy about him performing,” James Richards wrote in an email, adding that the comedian never specifically apologized or addressed his sexual misconduct against a number of female comedians.

Another person at the show, who asked to remain anonymous because the individual did not want attention, corroborated that account, saying that Louis C.K. “made a joke about how it wasn’t ‘unanimous’ that people were excited to see him.”

“He talked about how he took a ‘really long break’ and was coming back now, but beyond those two mentions, didn’t really acknowledge his past / the allegations,” wrote the audience member via email.
The 51-year-old comedian appeared at the club in August for his first public set since his admission, launching a widespread conversation about redemption in the age of Me Too and what people expect from him now. Despite the many reports and think-pieces, it seems he has not learned much since that performance.

As for his latest set, there have been conflicting reports about whether anyone walked out. Page Six reported that two women walked out, but Richards said that as far as he knew, “nobody left

Comedy Cellar owner Noam Dworman said last month that the club would “institute a new policy” allowing any audience members who weren’t pleased with a comedian onstage to leave without having to pay their checks.

“Essentially, swim at your own risk. We don’t know who may pop in that’s not on the lineup. If someone does come in that you don’t want to see, you are free to leave, no questions asked, and check completely on the house,” he said at the time. “Having said that, we don’t expect Louis back anytime soon.”
Richards said that Louis C.K. seemed “very nervous at first” and that his jokes included quips about “his kids, his physical health, a story of watching a professional ice skater dying during an act” and “a surreal and wacky bit about a freaky Friday scenario.”

The other audience member said one of the jokes about his 9-year-old daughter “made people uncomfortable.”
“There were a few jokes that I thought made people uncomfortable mainly because of the context,” the person said.

“One was a joke about taking his 9 year old daughter to Old Navy and seeing that they have boyfriend shirts for 9 year old girls, and then graphically describing, ‘Oh, is my 9 year old supposed to be f-ing her boyfriend all night and taking his shirt?’ and another was about how much he liked ‘his doctor touching him.’ He had a Freudian slip, saying ‘I love it when my father touches me’ (instead of doctor).”

That audience member said that despite the laughter and applause Louis C.K. received, others there said the set made them feel “some discomfort because of his past and how some of his jokes kind of [came close to] the line.”
“I talked to a few women sitting near me afterwards, and they described a similar sense of tenuous discomfort, like, ‘Is it OK to laugh at this?’ especially some of the edgier jokes.”

To that, we have to say we’re still not sure.

Jamie Lee Curtis on How the New Halloween Relates to the #MeToo Era
The new Halloween picks up 40 years after the John Carpenter original, and in some ways, things haven’t changed: Michael Meyers is still terrorizing teenagers on Halloween night, and he’s still creeping around in that mask.
But one thing isn’t the same is Laurie Strode. In David Gordon Green’s new film, Jamie Lee Curtis’ original scream queen has become a mother and a grandmother — and when Michael breaks out of prison and returns to Haddonfield, she’s waiting for him. It’s a story about chills and thrills and an insane mass murderer, sure, but it’s also a story about a woman taking back control of her own life.

“Ultimately as we are learning in so many areas, women are trying to take back the narrative in their own lives from men who have abused them, in myriad ways,” Curtis said Saturday and PEOPLE and EW’s TIFF studio. “And this is just one example of it.”
Four decades later, Laurie has a daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and a granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak), and although neither was alive the first time Michael went on a killing spree, the repercussions of that night still affect them.

“I don’t know if 40 years ago I would have ever thought that Laurie Strode would have a daughter, let alone a granddaughter,” Curtis said. “I just don’t think I ever took it that far. Trauma is a generational disease because it affects everybody in the family. So that’s what I think is so exciting about [this film]. They’ve explored that through the relationships between mother, daughter, granddaughter.”

Halloween will hit theaters Oct. 19. Watch the full interview with Curtis above.

#RHoA: Kenya Moore says she won’t Know the Gender of Her Baby Until After She Gives Birth!
Kenya Moore is in the final stretch of her pregnancy, and she’s sharing new details about her bundle of joy.
The first-time mom, who is welcoming a baby this fall with husband Marc Daly, told E! News Tuesday that her due date is in November around Thanksgiving.
“Everything is good and healthy,” the former “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star said. “This is the home stretch, and I’m being as healthy as I possibly can and being as positive as I can.”

Moore, who recently shared a photo of her stunned-looking husband feeling their unborn child kick, added that the couple doesn’t yet know the gender of their baby. This is despite fans continuing to share their input as to whether it’s a boy or a girl. But the 1993 Miss USA winner and her hubby do have a name in mind either way.

“My cousin actually said it at a family function once. Marc and I both looked at each other and we were both like, ‘Oh my God! That’s an amazing name,'” she said. “It means so much to us. It has great significance to us.”

Moore has been candid about her journey to motherhood both during her time on RHOA and after. On the show last season, she was seen at the doctor getting a pregnancy test and later trekked to Barbados to visit a fertility clinic off-camera.
And since confirming she’s with child on the season finale of RHOA in April, Moore has shared several details about her pregnancy. They include some of her first ultrasounds, bodily changes and planning a baby shower with Daly.

While the ex-reality star won’t be sharing her journey to motherhood in front of Bravo cameras, she has sparked speculation that she’s shooting a pregnancy special for E!

“I do have a project up my sleeves,” she told the entertainment channel’s website. “They’ll get an inside glance into as many moments as I can, and whatever I chose to share with the public, they definitely see a lot that I experienced from baby shower to birth to planning stages.”

Good Luck!

#Empire: Season 5 Episode 2 Spoilers: Death of Major Character Inevitable
“Empire” season 5 kicked off with many of the questions from the fourth’s installment answered. With the storyline presented, viewers will not have to wait further to know who was killed off, and it was both a relief and a sad affair for the viewers because the departed was a major character.

It was revealed that the dead person in the coffin that was previously shown in the teaser of “Empire” season 5 pilot episode, titled “Steals from the Thief,” was Eddie Barker (Forest Whitaker). After being named the head of Empire Entertainment and eventually becoming the new antagonist, Barker unexpectedly died.

Forest Whitaker’s departure was definitely quick and surprising so showrunner Brett Mahoney explained why this happened. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, he shared that part of the reason was the actor’s availability to work on the set.

“If Forest Whitaker says he’s going to be available, I definitely would have made it work,” he said. “But when it appeared that he wouldn’t be as free as we would need in terms of being someone who could be our villain for this season and be there for several episodes and when we needed him, this idea of allowing the character to die in the premiere kind of freed me up creatively to think differently about what we could do.”

Meanwhile, “Empire" season 5 episode 2, titled “Pay for Their Presumptions,” will continue at the time following Eddie’s funeral. Cookie and Lucious will strive harder after losing the Empire to Eddie. The upcoming episode will show the viewers whether or not the duo can get back the power they once had in the music industry.

Part of the “Empire” season 5 episode 2 synopsis reads: “Cookie and Lucious learn the difficulties of launching an artist without Empire Entertainment’s resources, and their future with new artist Treasure is jeopardized.”

“Empire” season 5 airs Wednesdays at 8 p.m. on Fox

#HipHopNews: Lil Wayne’s ‘Tha Carter V’ Headed For No. 1 Debut
Lil Wayne is returning to the charts HUGE!

The rap titan’s long-awaited album Tha Carter V is expected to debut at No. 1 on next week’s Billboard 200. According to HITS Daily Double, the album is on track to move 475-525,000 equivalent album units in its first week, of which 165-180,000 are traditional sales.

The combined 23 tracks on C5 earned 49.5 million streams in the first 24 hours on U.S. Spotify, marking the second largest debut in the history of the streaming platform behind Drake’s Scorpion (80.5 million). Tha Carter V has since surpassed 100 million streams on Spotify, according to Chart Data. Wayne also occupies 23 out of 25 of the top songs on Apple Music in the U.S.
While the numbers are impressive given Wayne’s seven-year gap in the Carter series, they are still a far cry from 2011’s Tha Carter IV, which sold 964,000 copies in its first week (prior to the streaming era).

After much anticipation, Tha Carter V arrived Friday featuring appearances from Kendrick Lamar, Nicki Minaj, Travis Scott, Snoop Dogg, and the late XXXTentacion.

Elsewhere on next week’s charts, look out for Logic, whose album YSIV is projected to do 90-110,000 copies (45-55k traditional) in its first week. Meanwhile, Kanye West is expected to release his album Yandhi sometime this weekend.

#BoxOfficeNews: 'Night School' wins the #1 spot at The Box Office!
Universal topped the weekend box office for the second weekend in a row, this time with the comedy Night School starring Kevin Hart and Tiffany Haddish.

Universal's PG-13 comedy Night School from producer Will Packer topped the weekend chart with an estimated $28 million. While short of BoxOfficeMojo's pre-weekend forecast, this is a solid start for the $29 million production, which received an "A-" CinemaScore from opening day audiences, a grade contrary to the mixed reviews from critics. Additionally, the film played to an audience that was split 50-50 male-to-female and of the overall audience, 59% was aged 25 or older.

How the film plays from here, however, will be interesting. Looking at past releases starring Hart, the opening is ahead of 2014's About Last Night ($25.6m opening) and just behind Think Like a Man Too ($29.2m opening). About Last Night, however, could only manage a 1.9x multiplier and Think Like a Man Too just 2.23x, which would suggest a run anywhere from $53-62 million if Night School follows suit.

Internationally, Night School brought in an estimated $5.5 million from 19 markets including a $2 million debut in the UK and a $1.2 million opening in Australia. The film will open in Spain in mid-October followed by openings in Italy (Nov 8), Mexico (Nov 9), Germany (Nov 15), Russia (Nov 29), France (Dec 5) and Brazil (Dec 20).

Kendall Jenner and Ben Simmons Are DONE!
After a summer of break-ups and make-ups, claims of stalking, and ex-girlfriend drama, Kendall Jenner and NBA superstar, Ben Simmons, have called it quits.

The Hollywood hotshots got together in May, just days after the NBA star broke it off with his R&B boo, Tinashe.
However, after rumors surfaced of a budding relationship between the two, Jenner was spotted smooching on Gigi and Bella Hadid’s brother, Anwar. Weeks later, Simmons and Jenner moved in together, in a $25,000 per-month rental in L.A.

Throughout their four-month relationship, the two also dealt with the drama of Simmons’ ex, who he, at one point, even accused of stalking him. But, despite all the drama, according to Us Weekly, the two apparently just grew apart due to conflicting schedules.

“Kendall is so busy and has so much going on and doesn’t want to wait around for anyone,” a source said in August, as the couple’s relationship began to “fizzle” out. “She’s definitely not set on him and she’s playing the field and having fun. She’s young, traveling the world and successful.”

“Kendall just loves being with her friends. That’s her main priority right now,” the source told Us Weekly. “She has a small group and doesn’t stray. She knows who to trust and who not to. She’s young! All she wants to do is go out and party with her friends with no drama.”

Lauryn Hill Slapped with Lawsuit from American Express For Owing Nearly $400K in Credit Card Debt
Lauryn Hill owes American Express close to $400,000 after raking up that much in credit card debt.
The credit card company has sued the former Fugees frontwoman, according to a filing obtained by Bossip Friday, Sept. 28. In the documents, Hill is accused of skipping out on paying a six-figure credit card bill, which tallies up to $371,892.39.
The lawsuit from American Express National Bank states the “Killing Me Softly” singer managed to owe the debt based on “the price of goods sold and/or services rendered,” but failed to pay it. Along with Hill being listed as a defendant in the filing made in New Jersey Superior Court earlier in September Hill’s company, “MLH Touring,” is also named.

American Express said in court documents it tried to collect what Hill owes them but claims the performer “often refused” and the bill has gone on unpaid.
The gossip site said it wasn’t clear at the time of its report what Hill has specifically dropped so much dough on.
This is the latest bout of legal trouble for Hill.

In July, she sued her cousin who she accused of failing to pay back a $65,000 loan.
Gerald Hill is being taken to court for breach of contract as the performer claims Gerald never planned to pay her back after a year. She said he agreed to pay 10 percent interest if the loan wasn’t paid back in three months.

As for her AmEx suit, she has not responded. But on Saturday, Sept. 29, she did post a Facebook message to fans apologizing for having to cancel a concert in Houston after doctors urged her to rest her strained voice.

Kanye West Clarifies “Abolish The 13th Amendment” Tweet; Celebs And Media React
Kanye West continues to be Kanye West. After making a pro-Trump speech during Saturday Night Live, the MAGA cap-wearing rapper sent a “message of love” suggesting that we “abolish the 13th amendment.” If he was looking for more attention, he certainly got it.
In his initial tweet, West said that his hat “represents good and America becoming whole again.” He added, “We will no longer outsource to other countries. We build factories here in America and create jobs. We will provide jobs for all who are free from prisons as we abolish the 13th amendment. Message sent with love.”

About an hour later, he realized what he just tweeted and started to walk back on his comments.

“The 13th Amendment is slavery in disguise meaning it never ended We are the solution that heals,” he clarified.
He continued saying that we need to “amend the 13th amendment. “We apply everyone’s opinions to our platform,” he added.

It didn’t take too long for people to respond, obviously.

Captain America himself, Chris Evans tweeted: “There’s nothing more maddening than debating someone who doesn’t know history, doesn’t read books, and frames their myopia as virtue. The level of unapologetic conjecture I’ve encountered lately isn’t just frustrating, it’s retrogressive, unprecedented and absolutely terrifying.”

Atypical star Michael Rappaport called West out as well. “When you say ‘We’ you’re talking about Kendal & them right?
Cause you’re not speaking for anyone else up in here.”

Soledad O’Brien didn’t hold back and slammed West: “The 13th amendment abolished slavery. Re-upping this from the last time: @ye is truly an idiot. Message sent with distaste for idiocy.”

Legends of Tomorrow star Brandon Routh chimed in as well.  “Advice of the day: stop following Kanye West. He’s a constant contradiction. The the fact that he has 28 million followers…Might do well to clear your headspace of his incoherence.”

#RHoP: ‘Real Housewives of Potomac’ Star Ashley Darby Supports Husband Michael After Sexual Assault Claim
Ashley Darby posted a message in support of her husband, Michael Darby, after news broke that he was arrested for sexual assault.
The post came two days after TMZ reported that Michael, who is 29 years older than his wife, was charged with felony assault and misdemeanor improper sexual contact for allegedly groping and grabbing the butt of a cameraman on the show.

Orville Palmer claims that the September 1 incident happened while they were filming for the show at a house in Maryland, after which Michael gave him a “flirtatious look.”
He said he put down his camera and told Michael to stop before telling his supervisor what had happened. He filed charges three days later.

NBC Miami reports Opens a New Window.  that the cameraman filed for a restraining order against Michael and claimed in court documents that another incident happened in August, when the restaurateur kicked him in the butt while he was filming. His request for a restraining order was denied.

If convicted, Michael could face up to 11 years in prison and thousands of dollars in fines.
The show’s production company and Bravo suspended Michael after the sexual assault charges were filed, saying in a statement to TMZ Opens a New Window. , that the network has “comprehensive policies and guidelines relating to the safety of cast and crew. We take all allegations seriously and then proceed accordingly with our producing partners.”

Bravo has suspended Michael Darby, husband of Ashley Darby from the network's "Real Housewives of Potomac" series.
The news comes after Darby, 59, was charged with groping a cameraman while the show was filming in Potomac, Maryland, on Sept. 1.

In a statement to USA TODAY Saturday, Bravo said the network takes all allegations seriously.
“Bravo has comprehensive policies and guidelines relating to the safety of cast and crew which production companies are required to follow, in addition to their own protocols they have in place,” the statement read. Cardi B Takes Pic With Nicki's Ex-Meek Mill (Again)!
When it comes to power players in Hip Hop right now, Cardi B is certainly on the list. So, it comes as no surprise the "I Like It" rapper was front and center at Billboard's inaugural R&B Hip Hop Power Players event held at Legacy Records in NYC.

The event was put on to celebrate and toast 100 talented and accomplished executives, artists and tastemakers who made this year's list.

Bardi ran into her nemesis Nicki Minaj's ex-boyfriend Meek Mill and snapped a picture with him, rapper Marlo, and Quality Control's Pierre "Pee" Thomas. After the picture started making its rounds on social media, people have been teasing that a Cardi B/Meek Mill collaboration is in the works. Hey, it's not too far-fetched that these two would hop on a track together. And we all know why.
Meek was the man of the hour as he was honored with the Impact Award, presented by political commentator Van Jones.

"A lot of people stood up for me and a lot of people broke their necks for me," the MMG rapper said. "I thought it was only right to use some of my platform and my power to actually reach back and help the people that stood up for me." Mill went on by saying, "I would like to thank Atlantic Records, Roc Nation, my family, everybody, Billboard for getting recognized. You know where we come from we don't even get recognized for the shit we do most of the time so it's almost surprising and overwhelming when we get in these type of situations." He concluded saying, "I'm going to continue doing what I'm doing and making change and impact. And still spitting that hot shit like I do."
"I have personally witnessed him stand in front of the Governor of his own state and that governor say 'yes, yes, yes' to his demand for justice," Van said as he presented Meek with the award. "You are about to witness the rise of a new kind of hip-hop superhero who is moving the culture from saying my pain is about me to my pain is about us. Saying my breakthrough for myself on the charts is going to be a breakthrough for the community in the courts, and who is not just going to make hits but make laws."

Good for you! As for Cardi Hmmmmmmmm……….

#MusicNews: To Pay Tribute To Aretha Franklin at American Music Awards
Music legend Gladys Knight, along with soul veterans Ledisi and CeCe Winans, were tapped to tribute the late Queen of Soul Aretha Franklin at the American Music Awards next month (Oct 2018). The October 9th tribute at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles will focus on Franklin’s gospel roots and her 1972 album Amazing Grace.

“When I heard some of the initial ideas for the tribute, I knew without a doubt that this tribute will go down as one of the best in American music,” a statement from Sabrina Owens, Franklin’s niece and the executor of her estate, reads.

Franklin was one of Gladys’ good friends; she previously paid tribute to Aretha on the eve of her funeral in Detroit, Michigan, singing “You’ll Never Walk Alone” during a gig in a local park, which is to be named after Franklin.

Last month she recalled the close relationship she shared with her fellow soul legend.

“We were both little girls, and I say little girls even though, you know, we have, like, three or four years between us, but we had that same road to go and over the years I saw her grow and hopefully she saw me grow,” Knight told Entertainment Tonight. “We were both blessed enough to be working all the time, so if we were anywhere near where we were going to be playing, she would just show up. I would show up (to see her).”

Meanwhile, record executive Clive Davis, who signed Franklin to Arista Records in 1980, is reportedly planning a tribute show titled Clive Davis Presents: A Tribute to Aretha Franklin on Nov. 14 at Madison Square Garden in New York.

#POLITICS: Willie Nelson Unveils New Election Anthem: ‘Vote ’Em Out’ At Massive Austin Rally
Country music legend Willie Nelson unveiled his new election-themed song “Vote ’Em Out” on Saturday at a massive rally for Democratic Senate hopeful Beto O’Rourke in Austin, Texas.

Nelson performed his musical call to action at Austin’s Auditorium Shores after singing several of his hits, including “On The Road Again” with O’Rourke, who seeks to unseat Sen. Ted Cruz (R-Texas) in the November midterm elections.
Nelson, who announced his endorsement of O’Rourke earlier this month, belted out the lyrics to “Vote ’Em Out,” which stresses the importance of Americans’ right to vote.

“The biggest gun we’ve got is called the ballot box/ If you don’t like who’s in there, vote ’em out,” the song says.

The rally was attended by roughly 55,000 people, Auditorium Shores told the Austin American-Statesman.
It wasn’t the first time O’Rourke has performed with Nelson. He joined the music legend on stage a couple months ago at the singer’s annual Fourth of July Picnic in Austin.

Cruz, an unwavering conservative who failed in his bid for the 2016 GOP presidential nomination, had been heavily favored to win a second Senate term at the start of this year’s campaign. But O’Rourke, a House member from El Paso, has generated widespread enthusiasm for his candidacy and pulled close to Cruz in several polls.

Nelson has taken heat from some of his conservative fans over his support for O’Rourke. His link on his Facebook page to a news article announcing his plans to headline O’Rourke’s rally on Saturday prompted some angry responses.

One fan griped on Nelson’s page that “If thats true [then] I’m done after 45 years with the Red Headed Stranger.”
“By Willie, that smoke has finally got you!” the fan added. apparently referring to Nelson’s longtime use of marijuana.

Nelson has shrugged off the naysayers.
“I don’t care,” Nelson said earlier this month on ABC’s “The View. “You know, they’re entitled to their opinions and I’m entitled to mine. ... Everybody has a right to an opinion.”
