#RHOA: Where Is Claudia Jordan Now? Inside Her Life Since Leaving RHOA
Claudia Jordan is living her best life today, years after stepping away from The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The model and radio personality appeared on RHOA back in Season 7, but has been keeping busy in the past decade since her one season on the show. And now we're taking a closer look at Claudia's time on RHOA and her life today.

Claudia has been traveling and recently took to Instagram on Oct. 3, where she revealed that she was hanging out in Charlotte. In the photo, Claudia can be seen wearing a black zip-up bodysuit, while she kicked up a foot against a wall and smiled for the camera with the Charlotte skyline behind her. "Rooftop," she wrote in the caption of the post, along with three diamond emojis.

When Claudia isn't traveling across the nation and working hard in her career (more on that down below), she is living in Dallas, where she is devoted to her hobbies, like gardening. Claudia took to Instagram on Oct. 2, where she posted a series of photos from her home garden. She snapped so many photos of the jalapeños, rosemary, tomatoes, and basil that she grew herself. "My garden," she wrote in the caption of the post.
According to her Instagram bio, the former RHOA cast member is an "actress, host, fearless truth teller, cat mom, cook, and friend," and is a "political junkie." Her career includes being a radio and TV personality, as well as the co-host of the podcast, Accidentally Informed. Claudia's career not only includes hosting her own podcast, but she also makes frequent appearances on other podcasts.

Claudia was on RHOA Season 7, which aired in 2014 and concluded in 2015. At the time, Claudia admitted to being "nervous" about joining the cast. "If anyone kind of starts with me, I will pop off and say something smart, but there will be no violence; there will be no embarrassing myself. I'm 41 years old. I'll probably pull a hamstring or something," she said on an appearance on the Rick Smiley Morning Show prior to joining RHOA.

Her tagline that season was: "Don't hate me because I'm beautiful. Hate me because I'm here to stay." During her time on the show, Claudia got into it with Nene Leakes during a "read-off" where she threw some major shade toward her. And Claudia told BravoTV.com in March 2015 that she didn't expect to get into it with Nene. "I had no intentions of coming on the show and coming for Nene so I could have this scene with her," she said. "I thought we kinda had fun with it. I don't like to argue, but I am damn good when it happens."

Where is Claudia Jordan today?
Claudia left the ATL behind, and she is currently living in Dallas. Claudia last appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen in March 2023. At the time, she said that she still keeps in touch with some of the RHOA ladies even after moving away from Atlanta. “I still speak to Cynthia all the time. Kenya. Kandi sometimes. Demetria as well," she said at the time.

#NewMusic from Lalah Hathaway Releases New Album ‘Made In Chicago’
Five-time GRAMMY Award-winning  soul singer, songwriter, and producer Lalah Hathaway has officially released her highly anticipated new studio album, Made In Chicago.
Rooted in Hathaway’s signature warm, intimate, and profoundly soulful vocal delivery, Made In Chicago serves as a deeply personal homage to her hometown roots.

The conceptual foundation for the project grew organically out of a single vivid image. Hathaway envisioned herself in a leather coat, looking out at Lake Michigan with the sprawling Chicago skyline in the distance. From that specific visual, a flood of  music came back to her, channeling the sounds, memories, and distinct energy that echoed her childhood in the city.

“I feel these songs live at the intersection of nostalgia and melancholy,” Hathaway shared regarding the emotional core of the record.
Across the album’s nine tracks, Hathaway masterfully traces her Chicago upbringing, effectively reimagining her past while actively pointing toward her future artistic direction.
To bring the evocative vision to life, Hathaway crafted the album alongside her longtime collaborator and co-producer, Phil Beaudreau. The lush, atmospheric production is further elevated by elite instrumental contributions from Moonchild saxophonist Amber Navran, saxophonist Hailey Niswanger, and acclaimed flutist Elena Pinderhughes.

Made In Chicago is available to stream and download now across all major digital platforms.

Freddie Jackson, the Grammy-nominated R&B singer known for chart-topping hits like “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake)” and “You Are My Lady,” has died. He was 69.
Jackson died on Monday, Oct. 5, just three days after his birthday, according to a statement shared to his Instagram account on Tuesday, Oct. 6. No cause of death was given.

“It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Freddie Jackson, who went home to rest last night.🕊️,” the post read. “Freddie was more than a legendary voice. He was a kind, generous soul who loved his fans, his family, his friends, and his music with everything he had. For decades he gave us the songs that became the soundtrack to our love stories, our celebrations, and our most treasured memories. That gift will live on forever.”

The statement continued, “To everyone who ever sang along, danced, or felt something when Freddie took the stage: thank you. You were family to him, and he carried your love with him always. Please keep his family, friends, and loved ones in your prayers during this difficult time. Details regarding arrangements and how to honor his legacy will be shared in the coming days.”

The statement was signed by “the Freddie Jackson family,” and concluded by saying Jackson’s legacy and voice “will live on forever.”
The singer announced in 2024 that he’d been diagnosed with kidney disease, and said in a video at the time that while his journey had “challenges,” he hoped to “face it with openness and resilience.” He also partnered with the National Kidney Foundation to raise awareness.

“It is important to me that I share this with you, not just as a part of my personal story, but as a way to make a positive difference,” he said.  “As I take this step, I’m turning my personal experience into a platform for greater understanding and advocacy. With your help, we can work towards better awareness and improved outcomes for everyone with kidney disease.”

Jackson was best known for dominating the R&B charts in the 1980s; 10 of his songs were No. 1 hits, including “Rock Me Tonight,” which spent six weeks atop the charts in 1985. He also notched seven crossover hits on the Billboard Hot 100, and was nominated for two Grammys in 1986: Best New Artist and Best Male R&B Vocal Performance, for “You Are My Lady.”
The star was born and raised in Harlem, and grew up watching stars like James Brown and Aretha Franklin perform at the famed Apollo Theater. He cut his teeth singing gospel music at the White Rock Baptist Church, where he met future collaborator Paul Laurence.

“I grew up in Harlem, eating collard greens and fried chicken,” Jackson told the Los Angeles Times in 1988. “That’s not learned soul, it’s not acquired in some singing school or from copying what you hear on records. I live soul. That’s what you hear in my music or in the music of any Black singer.”
He played the New York club scene before briefly moving to the West Coast to front the band Mystic Merlin. But before long, he was back, and even sang backup for Melba Moore before releasing his debut album Rock Me Tonight in 1985.

Jackson released a number of albums over the years, most recently in 2023. He also appeared on TV shows like The Golden Girls, and had a duet with Irene Cara on the soundtrack of the 1989 movie All Dogs Go to Heaven.

“I say that you have to stay true to who you are and what it is that you do, and where it falls it will fall,” he said in a 2009 interview. “There’s an old saying in my family that what comes from the heart will touch the heart and it will stay in the heart. And I think that that’s what my music has done.”R&B balladeer Freddie Jackson has died, his family announced on Tuesday, just days after the singer celebrated his birthday. He was 69.A Harlem native, Jackson got his professional start in the late 1970s as a member of the California funk group Mystic Merlin before building a solo career that made his voice a fixture of 1980s R&B. His catalog includes “Rock Me Tonight (For Old Times Sake),” “You Are My Lady,” “Have You Ever Loved Somebody” and “Jam Tonight.” He carried that momentum into the 1990s with “Do Me Again.”

"Freddie was more than a legendary voice," the family said in a statement. "He was a kind, generous soul who loved his fans, his family, his friends, and his music with everything he had. For decades he gave us the songs that became the soundtrack to our love stories, our celebrations, and our most treasured memories. That gift will live on forever."

A cause of death has not been revealed.

Suspect Charged in Death of Former Nickelodeon Star Kianna Underwood
An arrest has been made in the death of a former Nickelodeon star killed in a gruesome hit-and-run car crash in New York City.
On Tuesday (Sept. 29), authorities announced that Michael Griffiths has been indicted in connection with the death of Kianna Underwood, who was slain in January after being struck and run over by a vehicle while crossing a Brooklyn intersection.
Griffiths, 72, was taken into custody and hit with multiple charges, including leaving the scene of an accident resulting in death. However, Griffiths, who lives a short distance from the site of the crash, claims he is not at fault for the 33-year-old’s death.

According to reports, on Jan. 16, Underwood was crossing the street against a red light at the intersection of Pitkin Avenue and Mother Gaston Boulevard in Brownsville when Griffith, who was driving a black 2021 Ford Explorer SUV, initially struck her.

After the first collision, Underwood was run over by a second vehicle, identified as a black sedan, heading west on Pitkin Avenue, with the victim being dragged for two blocks before her body became dislodged on Pitkin Avenue, near Osborne Street. While Griffiths claims to have gotten out of his vehicle in an attempt to flag down the second driver and tend to the victim, he’s accused of fleeing before police arrived on the scene.
“I did nothing wrong,” Griffiths, who claimed he was headed to work at the time of the crash, told the New York Daily News days after the incident. “At the time it was a little bit darkish. It felt like I hit something, and I pulled over and stopped.” He also attributed his brisk departure from the scene to fear of a medical episode due to being without his medication.

“I felt like I was going to faint,” he told the outlet of his reaction to the collision. Griffiths also admitted to stonewalling police when first questioned about the incident, which he says his attorney advised. According to the city, Griffiths’ vehicle has 41 violations in connection to this, including 25 for exceeding the speed limit.

The driver of the black sedan has yet to be identified or apprehended.
A native of New York City and raised in Harlem’s Abraham Lincoln NYCHA housing complex, Underwood’s interest in entertainment was sparked in childhood. First appearing in local fashion shows and being cast in commercials, Underwood landed a supporting role in the 1998 film The 24 Hour Woman, but caught her big break with a voiceover role as Fuchsia Glover in Bill Cosby‘s Nick Jr. show Little Bill.

In 2005, Underwood returned to Nickelodeon for All That‘s tenth and final season, but faded from the spotlight soon after, eventually creating cause for concern due to her erratic behavior, bouts with homelessness, and drug abuse.
In 2023, fellow Nickelodeon alum Angelique Bates called for Underwood’s friends and peers in the industry to intervene in the fallen star’s downward spiral. “I don’t know what the whole situation is,” Bates said at the time.
“You don’t know if there’s addiction. You don’t know if there’s mental illness. You don’t know what is at play right now,” she said, adding that fundraising wouldn’t be enough. “There has to be a plan to make sure that they’re getting all the proper assistance.”

In addition to Little Bill and All That, Underwood’s credits include a voiceover role as Dakota in the animated TV movie Santa Baby and a minor appearance in Death Of A Dynasty, Damon Dash’s 2003 film inspired by the fall of Roc-A-Fella Records and a foreshadowing of his eventual split with Jay-Z.

Mayor Zohran Mamdani to Deliver Free Child Care to More Than 10,000 Low-Income Children
More than 10,000 children from low-income families will be moving off a voucher waitlist for free childcare, according to New York City officials.
Mayor Zohran Mamdani announced Monday that this will support the Child Care Assistance Program. The program provides subsidized care for children from 6 weeks to 13 years old and through 19 for children with special needs.
Over the next few weeks, families with children on the waitlist will be able to apply. If eligible, they will receive a voucher to cover the cost of care at a provider of their choice. Officials say the average voucher will save each family $17,000 per year.

"For the first time in 15 months, New York City is taking children off the voucher waitlist - and this is only the beginning. We will continue to do so on a rolling basis," Mamdani said.
The expansion is supported by a $1.2 billion investment from the state toward the city's free childcare initiatives. The state has dedicated $475 million specifically for the vouchers.
Families will be invited to apply on a rolling basis over the next few months, according to city officials. Families that have an income under 300% of the federal poverty line, are unhoused, or have a child with special needs are prioritized, as mandated by the federal government.

The city also added a new feature to its childcare map and website, allowing families to search for licensed programs and filter for those that accept the vouchers.
"Today's historic free childcare expansion will bring relief to thousands more families across New York City," Gov. Kathy Hochul said in a statement. "In partnership with Mayor Mamdani, we're building a childcare system that lifts up every family, from launching 2-K and expanding 3-K to moving families off waitlists and into high-quality care. No family should struggle to afford the child care they need and deserve, and I'll keep fighting to deliver universal childcare for every family across our city and state."

Mamdani has made childcare a main priority for his administration.
The city extended nearly 100,000 3-K and Pre-K offers before the start of this school year. The 2-K program is also providing free preschool for more than 2,000 children.
"I know there are cynics out there who reject our efforts to deem universal childcare a public good. Those who might label this kind of initiative as idealistic, radical, or naive, and yet, we also know that that same cynicism was once applied to public schools. It was once applied to public parks, to subways, to libraries, to sewers, to trash collection, even to street lamps," Mamdani said.

TV Pastor and creator of PTL Jim Bakker Dies: Disgraced Televangelist Was 86
Jim Bakker has died. The famed (and disgraced) televangelist and ex-husband of Tammy Faye Bakker was 86 years old.

Bakker's death was announced by his wife, Lori, in a statement posted to his Instagram account, which revealed he had died on Monday, October 5. "It is with a broken heart that I share that my beloved husband, Jim Bakker, went home to be with the Lord this evening," Lori Bakker began.

"For 66 years, Jim gave his life to preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He was a pioneer of Christian television, but to me, he was my husband, my best friend, and the man I was honored to walk beside through so many seasons of life and ministry. Jim loved people deeply. He loved this ministry, and he loved the friends and partners who stood with him throughout the years. Even in his final days, his heart was still for the work of God and for the Gospel to continue reaching the world," she continued.
No cause of death has been shared at this time. Born January 2, 1940, Bakker began making a name for himself in the TV space alongside his then-wife, Tammy Faye Bakker, in 1974 with The PTL Club (a.k.a. Praise the Lord Club), a Christian television program that was hosted from an abandoned furniture store in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Eventually, PTL grew to the point of broadcasting worldwide as its own PTL Television Network, which included various programs, including a late-night TV series. As the brand expanded, Heritage Village ministry headquarters and complex moved to specially constructed studios in Fort Mill, South Carolina, which became Heritage USA, the site of the Bakkers' theme park and residential complex.
Bakker's success continued through the 1980s until his empire was revealed to have been raised through his ministry for his own benefit by selling thousands of "lifetime memberships" to a luxury hotel, when only one 500-room hotel was ever completed. An investigation into Bakker's activities uncovered that most of the funds went to his company's operating expenses, but he kept millions for himself.

Bakker was also accused of using hundreds of thousands of dollars in ministry funds to pay his church secretary, Jessica Hahn, to keep quiet after she alleged that Bakker and PTL Club co-host John Wesley Fletcher drugged and raped her. Bakker argued that any encounters were consensual.
Ultimately, Bakker was indicted in October of 1988 on 24 federal counts of mail and wire fraud, and conspiring to defraud the public. The case exploded when Hahn's allegations came out. After a five-week trial in 1989, Bakker was found guilty on all charges and sentenced to 45 years in prison. He only served five.

Three years later in 1992, Tammy Faye Bakker divorced Jim after decades of marriage, going on to marry Roe Messner. Meanwhile, Jim Bakker married Lori Beth Graham in 1998 after he was released from prison, and went on to create The Jim Bakker Show, which ran from 2003 to 2006.
Bakker shared two children with Tammy Faye Bakker, including Jay and Tammy Sue. Meanwhile, he adopted five children with Lori during their years of marriage. Bakker's televangelist empire may not have lasted forever, but it inspired plenty of pop culture contributions, including the 2021 biopic The Eyes of Tammy Faye, starring Jessica Chastain and Andrew Garfield, as well as HBO's megachurch comedy The Righteous Gemstones, among others.

Playboi Carti And Lucki’s Crews Clash In Bloody Fight At ComplexCon LA
A violent altercation broke out between the entourages of rappers Playboi Carti and Lucki during ComplexCon at the Los Angeles Convention Center on October 3, 2026.
Video footage that emerged online shows a chaotic fight involving multiple individuals from both camps. The melee reportedly erupted near the event venue, capturing intense moments between the two groups.

One clip appears to show Playboi Carti observing the fight from inside a nearby car, while another video reveals Lucki with a significant neck injury being assisted into a vehicle. According to TMZ, four people sustained stab wounds during the confrontation.
Eyewitness accounts suggest the clash began after an argument between Lucki and Destroy Lonely, another rapper associated with Playboi Carti’s circle. The dispute escalated when Destroy Lonely reportedly threw the first punch, triggering the wider brawl involving both entourages.

Following the incident, a fan page dedicated to Lucki communicated with the rapper via direct message to confirm he is okay despite his injuries. Meanwhile, XXL has reached out to the teams representing both Playboi Carti and Lucki for official comments, but no statements have been released yet.
The tension between Lucki and Destroy Lonely reportedly dates back to summer 2024. Their feud began over relationship issues linked to Destroy Lonely’s ex-girlfriend. It worsened when Destroy Lonely seemingly dissed Lucki in a rap verse claiming he had "surpassed" his favorite rappers. Lucki responded by questioning Destroy Lonely’s credibility and his association with the Opium collective, igniting a series of subliminal and direct exchanges between the two artists.

This violent confrontation at ComplexCon highlights how ongoing personal and professional disputes in the hip-hop community can sometimes escalate into dangerous public incidents.

Halle Berry Is Seen Out With Son Maceo, 12, Days After Ex Olivier Martinez’s Child Abuse Claim
Halle Berry was seen with her son Maceo on October 4 amid a temporary restraining order.
According to People, Berry’s time with the 12-year-old has been limited to daytime hours until an October 16 hearing.
Berry’s ex-husband filed a petition alleging Berry abused their son. Berry has firmly denied the claims.

Halle Berry stepped out with her son Maceo on October 4, marking the pair’s first public appearance in the wake of her legal battle with ex-husband Olivier Martinez following his allegations of abuse. According to People, the Monster’s Ball actress was spotted watching the 12-year-old play soccer in Los Angeles amid Martinez’s temporary restraining order.

Berry and her fiancé Van Hunt joined Maceo—whom she welcomed with Martinez in 2013—as the pre-teen enjoyed a soccer game indoors at a Los Angeles Sky Zone trampoline park. Per the publication, the X-Men star was seen chatting with her youngest child before settling in to watch him play. According to an eyewitness, Berry—who’s also a mom to daughter Nahla with ex Gabriel Aubry—kept a low profile and seemed “pretty subdued.”

“At one point a fan asked for a selfie, but she nicely turned him down, saying she was with her kid,” the source claimed. “She and Van mostly looked at their phones and chatted occasionally.”
Berry’s weekend outing with Maceo comes amid a temporary restraining order, which has limited her time with her son to daytime hours on Mondays and Tuesdays as well as Saturdays and Sundays, until an October 16 hearing.

Martinez—who was married to Berry from 2013 to 2015—alleged that she abused their son during a September 26 incident, claims that Berry’s attorney has firmly denied. In a statement shared with InStyle, Berry’s attorney Marina Beck said, “To say this filing is entirely meritless and deliberately misleading would be an understatement.”
Olivier Martinez and Halle Berry attend the premiere of ‘Extant’ on June 16, 2014 in Los Angeles.
“In a way, today’s filing is not entirely unexpected from an individual with a well-documented history of erratic, possessive and violent behavior,” Beck continued.

“Fortunately, Halle is used to this kind of outrageous conduct from Mr. Martinez and, while she is deeply saddened, she will not allow it to deter her from fighting for Maceo’s best interests and providing him with the love and support he needs,” the lawyer added. Reps for Martinez did not respond to InStyle’s request for comment at the time.
Martinez was granted a temporary restraining order against Berry after he filed a petition on October 1, claiming the star “physically abused our son, Maceo, by jumping on him, putting her hands around his neck, and choking him.” According to People, the French actor—whom Berry currently pays $8,000 per month in child support—is requesting sole custody of their child.

Sophie Cunningham Tells A’ja Wilson to ‘Grow Up’ Over Fever Fan Confrontation
Sophie Cunningham has some strong words for A'ja Wilson following the Las Vegas Aces star's confrontation with a fan during the WNBA playoffs: "Grow up."
The Indiana Fever guard addressed the incident on her No Hesitation podcast, pushing back on Wilson's response to a spectator who stood and pointed at her during Game 2 of the teams' first-round playoff series. Cunningham argued that players who want the same passionate fan culture found elsewhere in professional sports also have to accept criticism from the stands.

"We're gonna go for them for just pointing and saying, 'You fouled!'? Like grow up! What are we doing?" Cunningham said.
The exchange happened late in Indiana's 99-89 win over Las Vegas after Cunningham was whistled for a foul on Wilson. A fan seated near the baseline stood and pointed toward Wilson, prompting the four-time MVP to approach him and repeatedly say, "You don't point at me."

Several Aces players stepped in before officials assessed Wilson a technical foul.
Arena security temporarily removed the spectator from the seating area but later permitted him to return. The Fever said security interviewed the fan and witnesses and determined that he had not violated the venue's Fan Code of Conduct.
Wilson had a much different assessment after the game.
"You don't step toward me," Wilson told reporters. "You never should sit and point at me. That there is unacceptable."

Wilson acknowledged apologizing to her teammates for the technical, but said she would not allow spectators to cross boundaries. "You can hate me with all your heart," she said. "But you don't know me. But I guarantee you will respect me."
Cunningham now says she believes the fan remained within the bounds of normal sports behavior.
"I've heard the worst of the worst. It's part of it," she said, referring to criticism she has received throughout her career. "If you really want sports fans, then you're gonna get sports fans. That includes pointing. That includes getting yelled at."
She went further, arguing that Wilson potentially could have faced a suspension. Cunningham suggested the Aces star's standing within the WNBA affected how the situation was handled, calling Wilson "the LeBron James of our league."

Wilson had actually invoked James herself after the incident. While speaking with Aces coach Becky Hammon following the loss, Wilson reportedly said, "No way he does that to LeBron," referring to the fan approaching and pointing at her.
Hammon said afterward that she didn't see the beginning of the confrontation but was surprised by Wilson's response.
"I've never seen A'ja Wilson go like that," Hammon said. "So whatever was done, I can tell you she felt very disrespected in that moment."
Cunningham, however, said Indiana wasn't looking to remove Wilson from the series.

"We wanted her to play," she said. "I think that makes for good basketball."

Chris Brown's Ex-Girlfriend Diamond Accuses Him of Sending Death Threats to Her Boyfriends

Chris Brown denied harassing ex-girlfriend Diamond Brown after she accused him in court documents of threatening men she dated following their split.
Diamond alleged that Brown’s threats ended two relationships, called his behavior “extremely frightening,” and said he has not seen their daughter, Lovely, in six to seven months.
Their ongoing custody and child-support dispute includes Diamond’s request for increased payments and Brown’s alleged refusal to disclose his finances, though he currently covers her rent.

Chris Brown’s ex-girlfriend Diamond Brown, with whom he shares a child, has alleged that the singer-songwriter has sent death threats to men she’s dated following their split.
As reported by TMZ, court documents filed as part of their ongoing child support case detail alleged “disturbing behavior” from Chris, who split from Diamond approximately two years ago. In the documents, she alleged that Chris has continued to exhibit “extremely angry” behavior towards her whenever she has dated other men following their break-up, even though he’s currently got a new partner.

“He has made death threats against my most recent boyfriend, and continued threats to not only him, but also to his twin brother. I understand that he has also had third parties make threats,” she claimed in the docs. “[He did the] same thing with another gentleman I started to see approximately two years ago after he and I broke up. … Both of these relationships broke up because of Chris’s harassment. should not be left to be scared to move on with my life because of Chris’s anger and resentment.”

She added that Chris is often touring or has other work-related commitments that mean he’s not around much, but he’s failed to see their daughter, Lovely, in the last “six to seven months.” Diamond described Chris’ alleged behavior as “extremely frightening.” She also detailed an incident in which he argued with her in front of their daughter at a birthday party, which she found “harmful and especially inappropriate.”

Additionally, she has alleged he “attempted to harass [her] through social media.” She has indicated that she is trying to avoid filing a Domestic Violence Restraining order, in the hopes that he would agree to “stop this scary behavior.” According to the documents, she said her income is roughly $1,500 per month, and he has refused to provide child support for their daughter.

In an email from Chris Brown’s lawyer to Diamond Brown’s legal team, he denied the accusations of harassment. “Chris denies this and in fact I continue to see your client posting things that are inappropriate. Please send me specifics to address so I can understand and assist if this is really happening,” the email read.
In another filing, as reported by TMZ, she said that Chris currently covers her rent, but she is requesting an increase in child support payments. He has allegedly refused to hand over his financial details to determine how much she should request from the father of her child. Earlier this year, she filed a lawsuit against him over child support and custody disagreements earlier this year.

Ed Sheeran Breaks Silence on Cousin Jethro’s Harsh Callout: 'Haven't Spoken in a Very Long Time'
Ed Sheeran has finally appeared to acknowledged the cousin who spent weeks publicly dismantling his character—but he did it without giving Jethro Sheeran the satisfaction of hearing his name.
According to Page Six, during his most recent Loop Tour stop at Atlanta’s Mercedes-Benz Stadium, Ed briefly addressed the family feud that erupted after Macklemore’s removal as his opening act. “You might have seen [my relative] recently on social media,” he told the crowd, according to video from the show. Ed added that he and the unnamed relative had not “spoken in a very long time.”

That carefully restrained response landed nearly three weeks after Jethro, a rapper and producer who performs as Alonestar, unloaded years of personal and professional grievances on Instagram. “Finally it’s all coming out!” he wrote in September. “I’m ashamed of my cousin Ed.”
Jethro called the Grammy winner “selfish,” “malicious,” and a “coward,” accused him of mocking his mental health, and claimed Ed had their collaborative songs removed from streaming services. The first cousins worked together early in Ed’s career on tracks including “Raise Em Up,” “Real Life,” and “All Falls Down.”

Jethro also claimed he took Ed into his first studio, put him onstage, and supported him when he was bullied at school. When commenters suggested jealousy was driving the attack, Jethro responded with the line that turned the family dispute into a roast: “Jealous of what? His looks? His guitar playing?”
The public rupture began after Macklemore performed “Hind’s Hall,” displayed images from Gaza and repeatedly shouted “Free Palestine” during two September shows at MetLife Stadium. Macklemore later said Ed and his team removed him from the remaining Loop Tour dates after several stadium operators refused to host concerts with him on the lineup.

Ed disputed that characterization, saying promoter Messina Touring Group made the final decision after negotiations with the venues failed. “I would never let down the fans who had made plans, nor would I abandon the touring crew and the other support acts and musicians who rely on me for work and to make a living,” he wrote.
The explanation did not contain the backlash. Ms. Rachel accused Ed of having “caved” to people punishing support for Palestine, while Colin Kaepernick said the stadium owners were “openly colluding” to protect their money and power. The remaining opening acts subsequently exited the tour in solidarity with Macklemore.

Ed addressed the broader controversy during his Sept. 19 show in Philadelphia, where he apologized for how he handled the crisis and admitted, “I am making mistakes.”
He also called the devastation in Gaza “catastrophic and unjustifiable” while denying that he was complicit in the conflict. During his speech, Ed also said he felt abandoned by people close to him.
His Atlanta remarks make clear that the cousin leading the family revolt has not been part of his inner circle for some time. Jethro, meanwhile, has continued discussing Ed publicly—including during a September interview with Don Lemon—and teased a song called “Eject” as his musical response.

Macklemore has since announced a three-date Free Palestine Tour in Europe, with proceeds benefiting organizations supporting Palestinians.

Trump Makes Appalling Comments, Says to Let Iran ‘Take Out Los Angeles, San Diego’: ‘Small Price to Pay’
Donald Trump just made some of the most shocking and dangerous comments of his presidency.
The 80-year-old President of the United States spoke during a campaign rally on the Nebraska State Fairgrounds on Monday night (October 5) in Grand Island, Nebraska.

Trump attended the event to campaign for incumbent U.S. Sen. Pete Ricketts and Gov. Jim Pillen ahead of the November midterm elections. During the event, he spoke about the war in Iran and the high price of gasoline right now.
At the rally, Trump spoke about a measure to make red-dyed diesel more affordable by allowing anyone to purchase it tax-free for any reason.
He also made distressing comments, implying that he would be fine if Iran took action to strike out cities like Los Angeles or San Diego in Southern California.

“And again, remember, with the war, it’s just artificial. It’s a little bit high. It’s a small price to pay for keeping the world safe, keeping our country safe,” Trump said. “They can take out a city. Let ’em take out Los Angeles, let ’em take out San Diego. This is a very small price to pay, and it’s going to be over with very soon. It’s essentially almost over with. And they might keep going a little long, you know, they always say they have a big threshold for pain. They need it. Let me tell you. They need it. But it’s going to end very soon. And it will end one way or the other.”

California Governor Gavin Newsom has already responded.
Newsom tweeted, “After sending the National Guard and Marines to occupy California, Donald Trump is now saying our foreign enemies should ‘take out’ Los Angeles and San Diego. He is deranged and dangerous.”
