Singer/actress Brandy performed an almost perfect tribute to her idol/collaborator Whitney Houston last night (3/10/2019) in Miami Garden, Florida. She was belting out “I’m Your Baby Tonight” and walking down a set of stairs at the Hard Rock Stadium when she took a tumble that knocked the shoes off her feet!
Fans Race to Brandy’s Defense After Getting Shamed About Her Weight — Again!
Brandy fans are defending the singer-actress against another round of weight jabs and rumors after “Love and Hip Hop Hollywood” star Moniece Slaughter posted a shady Instagram message.
“Praying that your baby is born healthy and strong @4everbrandy. Sorry, I didn’t make it to EMC in time to congratulate you in person,” Slaughter wrote Monday, July 2.
The petty, shady post is the latest in the beef between Slaughter and Brandy and follows the reality star blaming the “Star” actress — who recently became a series regular — for her brother’s disappearance last year.
“The Norwood family and my family have been very good friends for the past 15 years. … And she knew what he struggled with from … his addiction, as my Mom had confided in her about that prior to,” Slaughter said in a video of her brother’s schizophrenia and bipolar mania. “And she knew about the mental health issues he was suffering with. And privately she convinced him not to take the meds. She convinced him that a little wine here and there would be okay.”
Slaughter said Brandy’s convincing led her brother down an “emotional downward spiral” where he assaulted their parents and fled the home, leading to a police search for him.
The new post led fans to swiftly defend the crooner by dragging the LHHH star.

Brandy has faced rumors about her weight for a while now and addressed things head on back in March when pregnancy rumors ran rampant.
“I didn’t think the pregnancy thing was body-shaming,” she told TrueExclusives. “I didn’t feel that from people who obviously saw that I put on weight and thought I was pregnant. I went on a foodcation, because I’d been eating clean for like seven-something odd years, in the gym, every day, playing tennis. I’m like, ‘Yo, I’m tired of this crazy discipline. I need something to eat! I want some pizza, I want some pasta, I want some cake! I want something other than salmon, broccoli, and asparagus.’”

This week, the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star made her two million Instagram followers extremely happy with a handful of pictures.
In the photos, Leakes looks like she was about to make her loving husband and best friend, Gregg Leakes, very happy.
The former “Glee” actress dazzled in a loose-fitting nightgown that featured a bra-like top which revealed a lot of cleavage.
The business mogul had her long honey gold hair in a simple yet chic ponytail.
Leakes had on perfect makeup and completed the look with a pair of backless high heels.
The television host used her captions to say there is something special on the way.

After nearly two months, Blac Chyna has officially kicked Mechie to the curb.
According to TMZ, the two got into a huge argument on Monday over Mechie’s behavior on social media. Sources close to the reality star say that she is sick and tired of Mechie’s constant flirting with other women, so she gave him the boot.
Lucky for Chyna, a fresh break up makes for good music. Sources say Chyna went straight to the booth after the couples big blow up to let off some steam.

The network has given a put pilot order — meaning it’ll likely go to series or there will be penalties attached — for the project from writer Gary Janetti, who will executive produce with Robert Zebecks, Jack Rapke, and co-executive producer Jackie Levine. Nickleby, Inc. and Compari Entertainment are attached in association with Warner Bros. Television.
The sci-fi cartoon originally debuted on ABC in 1962, was revived in 1984, and also aired in syndication.

The Movie “Girls Trip” has passed The $100 Million At Box Office!
Universal’s hit summer comedy – Girls Trip – is crossing $100M at the domestic box office today (August 17th), according to a report. The Malcolm D. Lee directed film starred Regina Hall, Queen Latifah, Tiffany Haddish and Jada Pinkett Smith and followed four old college friends who travel to Essence Fest in order to reconnect. It is producer Will Packer’s third title to cross $100M after Ride Along and Straight Outta Compton.
As of August 15, 2017, Girls Trip has grossed $98.8 million in the United States and Canada and $8.4 million in other territories for a total gross of $107.2 million, against a net production budget of $19 million.
Girls Trip opened on July 21, 2017, alongside Dunkirk and Valerian and the City of a Thousand Planets, and was projected to gross around $20 million from 2,583 theaters, with industry experts saying it could debut as high as $30 million. It made $11.7 million on its first day, including $1.7 million from Thursday night previews at 2,195 theaters. The film grossed $31.2 million in its opening weekend, finishing second at the box office behind Dunkirk and marked the largest opening of director Malcolm D. Lee’s career. In its second week the film dropped just 37% and grossed $19.6 million, finishing 3rd at the box office behind Dunkirk and newcomer The Emoji Movie,[21] and in its third week the film made $11.4 million, finishing 4th.
Ezekiel Elliott’s Accuser Admitted to Discussing Extortion Plot With Friend
Just one day after #EzekielElliott officially appealed his six-game suspension for his offseason behavior, a new report has surfaced claiming Elliott’s accuser admitted to trying to extort the baller.
According to reports back in 2016, Elliott’s ex and accuser, Tiffany Thompson, reportedly sent text messages to a friend about selling sex tapes of Elliott and herself. The friend then encouraged Thompson, saying that explicit tapes could be used as blackmail, which prompted Thompson to respond, “I want to bro.”
The text messages were collected as part of the year-long NFL investigation into the alleged incident, where Thompson accused Elliott of abusing her multiple times.
In the 160-page report prepared by NFL investigators, Thompson reportedly admitted registering an email address called “ezekielelliott sex vids” in August, one month after the text exchange. But, she denied creating it to blackmail the baller. However, photo evidence of bruises that appeared during the week Thompson was rooming with Elliott were reportedly enough for the league to conclude that Elliott committed domestic violence.
In any case, the NFLPA has used the evidence to question the accusers motive and credibility.

Brandy was rushed to the hospital early Friday morning. The 38-year-old singer was flying from Los Angeles to New York City on Delta airlines when she lost consciousness. Reportedly, paramedics rushed to the scene to administer help.The airline called for help, paramedics arrived quickly and she was then she was removed from the plane.
Brandy ‘regained full consciousness’ while she was being treated on the jetway. And then she was taken to the hospital. We can now report she’s been released from the Hospital.
The following statement has been released, in response to Brandy’s recent hospitalization.
Brandy has been released from the hospital and is now at home resting. She has been traveling extensively as part of an ongoing tour and several personal appearances. In recent days she has taken more than 10 long haul flights including internationally. She was in the studio all night last night until it was time for her to leave for the airport to catch a 5:45 am flight. The stress of all of the traveling and working so incessantly has exhausted her. She will be relaxing for the next few days.
Is Brandy pregnant? On Monday (May 22nd), the singer posted a photo and caption on social media, that led some to speculate that she was pregnant. In the photo, Brandy’s stomach area seams to be protruding. She shared the photo with the caption:
Dear God, I can finally see you in me. Continue to use me so that I may continue to know the joy of being used by you. I promise to cut back on my clap backs. #wink I love you
Actress and singer Countess Vaughn also commented, writing:
Congrats on the baby I’m soooooo happy for you and I love you.
Brandy has yet to confirm or deny whether she is expecting. Her boyfriend, Sir The Baptist, has yet to comment. Earlier, Brandy posted a cute pic of the couple together on social media.
