#MAGFAB: Ariana Grande for Vanity Fair - November 2024
Ariana Grande put on a showstopping display in an array of looks as she and Wicked co-star Cynthia Erivo graced the cover of Vanity Fair's November issue.
The two starlets are set to appear as unlikely friends Glinda and Elphaba in the much-anticipated adaptation of the 2003 Broadway musical.
And posing for a stunning shoot with the publication, Ariana, 31, slipped into an elegant pale blue satin gown, adorned with black satin gloves and bow detailing, for one of three special covers on the issue.
The former Nickelodeon star then channelled her inner Marilyn Monroe by posing in a glamorous white midi dress alongside her co-star Cynthia, 37, who was dressed in an edgy black and white look.
Meanwhile Ariana was in stark contrast to her sunny onscreen character Glinda, this time dressed in a glamorous black lace gown.
For her solo cover, Cynthia was clad in a stunnning dark green off-the-shoulder dress, teamed with a black hat and a gold headpiece.
In the magazine's accompanying interview, Ariana finally addressed the ongoing criticism surrounding her 'changing voice' and has suggested she wouldn't have received such backlash if she was a man.
Earlier this year, the singer shocked fans by speaking in two distinctly different voices during an appearance on Penn Badgley's podcast, Podcrushed, in June while delving into her childhood and her experiences working for Nickelodeon.
One clip in particular ignited social media shock, as it showed Ariana dipping into a lower, huskier voice in an unguarded moment, before suddenly pitching her voice considerably higher.
Addressing the furore, Ariana said: 'There is a part of the world that isn’t familiar with what it takes to transform your voice, whether it’s singing or taking on a different dialect for a role or doing a character voice for something.
'When it’s a male actor that does it, it’s acclaimed. There are definitely jokes that are made as well, but it’s always after being led with praise: "Oh, wow, he was so lost in the role," and that’s just a part of the job, really,' Ariana claimed.
'Tale as old as time being a woman in this industry,' she added. 'You are treated differently, and you are under a microscope in a way that some people aren’t.'
At the time, Ariana responded to criticism and indicated that part of the issue was that she had gotten used to speaking in her higher voice for Wicked, in which she stars as Glinda.
'Habit (speaking like this for two years) and also vocal health,' she explained in her TikTok comment.
'I intentionally change my vocal placement (high / low) often depending on how much singing I'm doing,' she continued, adding an emoji with tears streaming down its face.
'I've always done this BYE,' she added to abruptly end the speculation.
While Ariana did not specifically mention it, several fans speculated that she switched back to her higher voice to avoid using vocal fry — a slightly croaky vocal tone that occurs when people speak in low, relaxed tones — as many people believe that vocal fry can damage a person's vocal cords or singing voice.
Ariana and Cynthia graced this month's Vanity Fair cover, ahead of the November 22 release date for their upcoming Wicked film.
In Jon M. Chu’s upcoming two-part film adaptation of Broadway's hit musical, Ariana plays Glinda The Good Witch, while Cynthia stars as Elphaba Thropp, The Wicked Witch Of The West.
Elphaba is a young woman, misunderstood because of her unusual green skin, who has yet to discover her true power while Glinda is a popular young woman, gilded by privilege and ambition, who has yet to discover her true heart.
Following the release of part one this November, the second film is scheduled to be released November 26, 2025.

#RHOA: Porsha & Dennis Shed New Light on Their Relationship Today: “After 5 Years
Porsha Williams has some brand new art to add to the walls of her Atlanta home, thanks to her ex-fiancé Dennis McKinley. The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member took to her Instagram Story over the weekend where she showed off the portrait that her ex and the father of her daughter, Pilar Jhena "PJ" McKinley, gifted her.
This present from Dennis was apparently a long time coming, according to Porsha, who had been wanting the art of herself for some time. "Finally gave it to me after 5 years lol. Thank you [Dennis]," Porsha wrote after Dennis carried the portrait into her home, adding the words "co-parents" and "gift" to the caption.
Dennis also posed alongside the larger-than-life painting, depicting Porsha. "Thank you," she wrote over the photo of him and the painting, together.
It's just a little unclear who made this painting of Porsha. But it's very clear that she is now very excited to have it in her house. In the video she posted to her Instagram Story of Dennis carrying the painting, Porsha can be heard calling the portrait "beautiful" while someone in the background stated that it's "the different faces of Porsha."
In addition to gifting Porsha her own portrait over the weekend, Dennis spent some quality time with his ex and their daughter. He took to his Instagram Feed over the weekend where he posted the sweetest photo of Porsha standing behind PJ with her arms wrapped around her. PJ, on the other hand, looked delighted to be standing on her mom's feet with a lollipop in hand.
Porsha also took to her Instagram Feed this weekend to give another "big kudos" to Dennis for enrolling their 5-year-old daughter in etiquette lessons. The mom-of-one revealed that PJ had graduated from her etiquette lessons, which turned into a celebration for their family and PJ's friends.
"So proud of you [PJ]," Porsha wrote in the caption of a reel, capturing PJ seated around a dining table with friends, putting her lessons to use. "Dennis big kudos to you for signing her up for this class...mom and I learned a lot as well. lol."
In a separate Instagram post, she added, "Family 1st."
After filing for divorce from estranged husband Simon Guobadia in February, according to a recent post on her Instagram Story, Porsha is very single. She re-shared a post to her story on September 22 highlighting her relationship status. "Today is National Singles Day?" the meme she posted stated. "Let me step into the light. Thank you for celebrating me."
Porsha had been married to Simon for 15 months before their split earlier this year. Amidst it all, she has been able to continue to co-parent with Dennis as they focus on their adorable daughter. Porsha split from Dennis in 2019.

#HipHopNews: Texas Attorney Holds Damning Press Conference Outlining 3,285 Individuals Claiming to Be Victimized by Diddy
Diddy's attorney Erica Wolff has released the following statement to XXL in response to the Buzbee Law Firm's press conference.
"As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasized, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus," the statement reads. "That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors. He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation."
ORIGINAL STORY (Oct. 1):
A Texas law firm has announced they are representing more than 100 people who claim Diddy and his associates raped, sexually assaulted and sexually exploited them after investigating 3,285 claims.
On Tuesday (Oct. 1), The Buzbee Law Firm and the AVA Law Group hosted a press conference at the law firm's Houston office where they formerly announced his team is representing over 120 individuals who plan on suing Diddy and others.
"Our team has had, at this point, 3,285 individuals with people claiming to be victimized by Sean Combs," Tony Buzbee said.
The alleged incidents happened between the years of 1991-2024.
Buzbee now represents 120 individuals who will bring civil cases against Diddy to court.
There are 60 males and 60 females.
The tally includes 25 people who claim they were minors when the incident occurred.
"The youngest victim at the time of the occurrence was 9 years old," stated Buzbee who also represented plaintiffs in the Travis Scott Astroworld Festival lawsuits.
Buzbee clarified this is not a class-action suit and all the cases will be filed individually. Defendants will include banks, pharmaceutical companies and hotels. He also claims there are other people involved who will be named at a later date.
"The day will come when we name names other than Sean Combs," Buzbee continued. "The names we are gonna name are names that are gonna shock you."
Buzbee and his team requested any other victims to contact them at 1-800-200-7474.
The wave of over 100 potential new cases comes after attorney Buzbee announced last week he would be representing over 50 people with claims against Diddy and urged more people to come forward.
Diddy has already been sued 12 times in the last 11 months with people, including his ex-girlfriend Cassie, making similar claims against the Bad Boy Entertainment founder. Diddy settled the Cassie lawsuit a day after it was filed. However, he has denied the claims in all follow-up suits
Ms. Lauryn Hill Issues Statement Amid Pras Accusing Her Of Fraud In New Lawsuit
Early Tuesday morning (Oct. 1), Pras Michél filed a lawsuit accusing Ms. Lauryn Hill of fraud, breach of fiduciary duty, breach of contract, accounting, refusal to permit an audit of The Fugees’ tour, and more.
She’s since responded to her former bandmate’s claims in a new statement.
“Some clarity and facts need to be presented,” Hill began. “I’ve been silent and pushing through because I understood that Pras was under duress because of his legal battles and that this was perhaps affecting his judgment, state of mind and character.”
The Miseducation rapper, then, addressed each alleged concern in a seven-part breakdown.
She also shared that she expanded her tour to include The Fugees because of Pras’ legal issues and his need for money to “aid his legal defense.”
Hill claimed that Pras was given a $3 million advance for the tour to pay said legal fees. “Wyclef and myself deferred our full advances to make sure he had what he needed and was able to go. I covered most of the tour expenses, as the majority of the tour advance had gone to Pras,” she continued, accusing Pras of being in breach of the agreement that was set forth to repay the advance.
The 49-year-old reiterated how she absorbed the brunt of production costs for the tour, adding that Pras “basically just had to show up and perform.” He also allegedly “thanked” Hill for “saving his life.” Hill claimed to have “receipts” to corroborate that statement.
Despite “not in the business of kicking anyone, especially when they’re down,” Hill says it’s “absolutely disheartening to see Pras in this position,” but she isn’t “responsible” for the decisions that led to his conviction or the subsequent consequences. Yet, she will remain “compassionate” when it comes to him.

The Miseducation rapper, then, addressed each alleged concern in a seven-part breakdown.
Hill called Pras’ lawsuit “baseless,” noting that it’s “false claims and unwarranted attacks.” She fired back saying that the filing “notably omits that he was advanced overpayment for the last tour and has failed to repay substantial loans extended by myself as an act of goodwill.” She also noted that the tour in question was in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of her debut solo album, The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, and was scheduled to proceed with or without The Fugees’ involvement.
She also shared that she expanded her tour to include The Fugees because of Pras’ legal issues and his need for money to “aid his legal defense.”

Raven-Symoné mourns the death of her father
Raven Symone has lost another family member. The actor is mourning the death of her dad, Christopher Pearman, 63. She announced the news on Instagram on Tuesday, October 1, with an old family photo of her and her parents, "My life has been long and abundant. And the path I’m on started with a dream," she wrote in the caption. "Hope he is watching with a smile on his face."
Raven started in the entertainment industry as a child actor with support from her dad and mom, Lydia Gaulden. In a 2006 interview for The Cheetah Girls, she explained, that her parents were her managers for the majority of my career. "When I turned 18 they said, 'Do what you want.' So I got a new manager," she explained. "But they’re still actively involved with my career. It just kind of took the pressure off of them. They’re with me 100 percent of the time and support me 3,000 percent."
Her first big break was when she was three on The Cosby Show, which came out in 1990, and she has 74 credits for the series on IMDB.
An actor from the show, Gary LeRoi Gray, was in her comments sharing sweet memories of her father, “I will always remember him on the Cosby set providing games for us to play and telling jokes to keep us busy,” he wrote. “I’m so sorry Raven. My condolences to everyone in the family! Love you.”
Her dad's passing comes nearly a year after Raven lost her younger brother, Blaize, who died in November 2023. She revealed the news in December on Instagram, "It was a little bittersweet for me, to be honest, because last month I lost my brother, Blaize," she said in a Reel. "He was battling colon cancer for about two years, and he is in a better place now. He's loved and missed, and the emotions that have been weaving in and out of my body and mind and my family have been a roller coaster."
Rest in peace.
Boosie apologizes to his gay daughter
A contrite Boosie Badazz is now seeking forgiveness for saying he doesn’t want his gay daughter, Iviona “Poison Ivi” Hatch, at his house with her girlfriend for fear she will “contaminate” his other daughters.
Iviona finally lashed out at her father, the Baton Rouge-born rhymer named Torrance Hatch Jr., after he went off about his daughter during an interview with rapper Yung Miami of City Girls.
“She still can’t bring her situation to our house. My daughter is grown,” Boosie said while speaking on Yung Miami’s “Caresha Please!” live podcast. “Because I don’t want her to contaminate the other … It’s a generation we’re raising. I don’t want her to contaminate her six, seven other sisters who look up to her.”
As the audience moaned audibly in the background, Boosie continued on his diatribe against his daughter and said resolutely he wants his other daughters to remain heterosexual.
“I want them to bring me grandchildren the right way,” Boosie continued.
After two years of silence about her father’s hurtful words, Poison Ivi felt compelled to address Boosie on her Instagram platform.
“If the world really knew all the things and the hurtful things you told me before and I forgave, you wouldn’t even understand,” she said on her Instagram video. “And no matter how you feel? At the end of the day, n—- I’m yo blood. I am your daughter. And me, I feel like I done been through the most with you. And every time, I turn around, it’s like you bashin’ me. And it’s like, the whole world can go against you, but as a woman, since I been a lil girl, I never would go against you. And I think, I’m really fed up.”
Poison Ivi also blasts her father for never sitting down to talk with her about being gay, but opted to do “six or seven” interviews to publicly condemn her when he never taught her the bible.
“He talkin’ about God and how I grew up. I know MY God from Neeta, from my mama. My mama send me scriptures every morning. My mama put me in the Church. I don’t recall not one time, me getting up with you and you taking me to the Lord’s house. I didn’t learn that from you. I learned the hustle from you. I learned not to let nobody play with me from you; even if it’s you!”
After being resoundingly rebuked by his daughter, Boosie returned to social media to seek forgiveness.
“Never meant to hurt you,” Boosie wrote on an IG post that featured a photo of him with Ivi, “Daddy bby.”
Boosie remains defiant in the aftermath of the overwhelming fan backlash for characterizing his daughter as a contaminant. “Yall won’t make me look like a bad father,” he wrote. “I love my kids I’m a good father.”
Boosie shared a second photo with Ivi with the caption, “God got us,” followed by the age-old axiom, “What is understood doesn’t need to be said.”
Eric Benét Recalls Joe Jackson Repeating Halle Berry's Name Behind Him at an Awards Show
Legendary singer Eric Benét shared an epic tale of senior shade that he dealt with regarding Michael Jackson’s late father, Joe Jackson.
In a video posted to his official TikTok account labeled “TRUE HOLLYWOOD STORIES,” Benét recounted a story about sitting in front of Jackson at an award show and being taunted by him repeatedly saying Halle Berry’s name in his ear.
Normally, that’s a nice name that rolls off the tongue quite well. But at the time, Benét was divorced from Berry.
“The first thing I thought was, it’s pronounced ‘Halle’ not Holly,’” said Benét. “Next thing I thought was what the actual F is happening right now?”
For the life of him, Benét couldn’t imagine why Jackson would do that. “Does he think he’s being witty? Is he trying to introduce himself to me?” pondered Benét. “Is that the ice breaker? Is he bonding with me on some suspected Hollywood villain type shit?”
To diffuse the weird situation, Benét nervously laughed it off, thinking it was over. But it wasn’t.
“Two minutes later, I feel that heat on the back of my neck and smell that old man cologne,” Benét added before explaining the realization that he’d come to. “So now I realize he’s testing you. Is Eric Benet a punk? Can I do this to him all night and he won’t do nothing?”
In the heat of the moment, Benét pondered whether he would actually get into a fight with Jackson. “Am I about to get into an altercation with the man who whooped little Michael Jackson’s ass? Is that what’s about to happen right here on this awards show?” he said.
Luckily, that didn’t happen. Benét politely told him to stop — and that was the end of that.
The shade that Benét experienced from Jackson feels spiritually similar to the shade that iLoveMakonnen experienced from Drake nearly a decade ago — and it just so happens that it involved an Benét comparison.
In a recent interview with NPR Music, iLoveMakonnen explained how he knew his relationship with Drake had changed — ultimately leading to their falling out. He revealed that things got weird at the 2015 Wireless festival. “That’s when I knew something was weird,” said iLoveMakonnen. “Just ’cause when I came out on set…and I started losing weight too, right—Drake had made a little joke like, ‘He a little Eric Benét-ass looking nigga.’ You know, like, ha-ha. And then I just started to feel this vibe.”
TikToker Mr. Prada Arrested in Connection to Louisiana Therapist’s Murder
Law enforcement has arrested TikToker Mr. Prada in connection with the death of a therapist whose body was found wrapped in a tarp along a Louisiana highway over the weekend.
20-year-old Mr. Prada, whose real name is Terryon Ishmael Thomas, was wanted on several charges, including aggravated criminal damage to property, resisting an officer, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle following the murder of William Nicholas Abraham, 69. Abraham’s body was discovered on Sunday along Highway 51 between the community of Fluker and the Village of Tangipahoa, approximately 60 miles northeast of Baton Rouge, where he worked.
The Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff’s Office revealed that Abraham’s body was found partially concealed along the roadside. The local coroner determined that the therapist died from blunt force trauma, ruling his death a homicide.
Thomas was arrested in Dallas, Texas, on Tuesday evening. According to jail records, he remains in custody without bond. Police had been searching for Thomas after he fled a traffic stop in Baton Rouge, crashing a stolen black Lincoln MKZ before escaping the scene. A Baton Rouge police officer identified Thomas in a photo lineup as the driver who fled.
Thomas, originally from Newellton in Tensas Parish, had a significant following on TikTok, amassing over 3.9 million followers.
Authorities have yet to provide a motive for the murder, and it remains unclear whether Thomas and Abraham had any prior connection. Abraham, a licensed professional counselor and motivational speaker, was well-known in his community, with his office located near Baton Rouge’s Mid City South neighborhood.
Cardi B Underwent Additional Surgery To Have ‘More Butt Injections Removed’
Cardi B recently gave fans an update on her butt injection removal process. The 31-year-old shared in an Instagram live stream that she had an additional surgery earlier this year to continue drawing out the silicone from her buttocks, stating:
“In January, right after I shot ‘Like What,’ I went and got surgery. I got some more butt injections removed.”
She added:
“You know, it takes rounds to get your butt injections removed. I got some of my butt injections removed. And I also went to fix, like, you know, certain things [with] my fibrosis.”
Cardi B, real name Belcalis Marlenis Cephus, has been candid with her millions of followers about wanting to restore parts of her body. During a previous live session in December of 2022, the Grammy winner revealed that “95%” of her biopolymers were removed from her behind. She previously stated in an interview with GQ that she initially got the silicone shots for $800 in a basement in 2014, prior to her being rich and famous.
In that same live video the mom of three, who welcomed her most recent daughter with estranged husband Offset earlier this month, gave stark advice against the procedure, cautioning viewers:
“All I’m going to say is right, if you’re young, if you’re 19, 20, 21, and sometimes you’re too skinny, and you be like ‘OMG I don’t have enough fat to put in my a**,’…so you result to a** shots, DON’T F*CKING DO IT…I am super super super super against motherf*cking a** shots.”
Wendy Williams Breaks Silence on Diddy’s Arrest and Investigation: ‘It Is About Time’
Wendy Williams, who has suffered from a series of health issues in recent years, has been openly critical of Diddy, 54, throughout her career. The former television host added that she was horrified over the security footage of Diddy allegedly beating his ex-girlfriend, Cassie (real name Cassandra Ventura), which was released earlier this year.
“You know how I feel about that? It is about time. To see this video on TV of [Cassie] getting pummeled… it was just horrific.” she said to the outlet on Tuesday. “But now you have to think, how many more times? How many people? How many more women? It’s just so horrible.”
Last month, Diddy was arrested in New York after being indicted on charges of racketeering, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in prostitution. The rapper has refuted all the allegations against him and pleaded not guilty. He is currently in jail at the Metropolitan Detention Center, awaiting trial. Since the arrest, Diddy has been denied bail twice but filed a notice of appeal on Monday, September 30, to overturn the ruling.
On Tuesday, a Texas law firm revealed during a press conference that Diddy has been accused of sexual assault and sex trafficking by 120 victims. The group includes 60 men and 60 women with 25 of them claiming they were minors at the time of the alleged incidents. While the identities of the victims have not been publicly revealed, lawyer Tony Buzbee shared that some of the names will be a “shock” as they are “people we all know.”
“He cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus,” Wolff said. “That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.”
Williams’ decision to speak out about Diddy’s current legal situation is no surprise to anyone who has kept up with their feud over the years. Williams and Diddy’s ups and downs began in the ‘90s when the TV personality spoke out against him on her radio show Hot 97. In 1998, Williams was fired from the broadcast and has claimed that Diddy played a role in her exit.
Following her radio career, Williams found success on her eponymous talk show. Before the program wrapped up in 2022, Williams covered a variety of hot topics including Diddy’s various name changes and his relationship ups and downs with Cassie.
“When you date a mogul, it’s really difficult to avoid them because if you use your head you never know when they’ll pop up on the scene,” Williams claimed during a 2015 episode of the Wendy Williams Show. “He can hire a plane right now … land on the roof of the hotel she’s staying, pay people off at the front desk, ‘Give me a key and let me up in her room.’ I’m already paranoid as a person.”
In 2017, Diddy appeared on Williams’ show and the duo seemingly resolved their tension.
“I know I piss off a lot of people, including you, but this is a full circle moment,” Williams said after Diddy gave her props for being one of the first female hip-hop journalists. “Everybody get into adult conversation.”

According to a report released by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office in Atlanta on Tuesday, October 1, and obtained by Us Weekly, Quan (real name Dequantes Lamar) died from an accidental drug overdose on September 5. He was 34.
The report noted that “several drugs were found” in Quan’s system, “including fentanyl, alprazolam, codeine, promethazine and THC.” Quan is believed to have shown “no signs of trauma” when his body was found in his Atlanta home by his brother, per People.
An incident report stated that Quan’s brother “told police that he woke at 3 a.m. on the day of his brother’s death and noticed the rapper asleep on the floor by the kitchen with food in his mouth.”
The report added that “a woman ultimately called police … at 11 a.m.” after noticing Quan had stopped breathing, noting that she had seen Quan earlier but assumed he was “asleep.”
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office confirmed Quan’s death to Us Weekly last month. At the time, TMZ reported that Quan’s family were “shattered and heartbroken by his sudden death” and were “desperately searching for answers.”
Quan’s music career peaked in 2013 when he released the track, “Type of Way,” which climbed to No. 50 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was later certified as gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, indicating it attracted sales of over 500,000 units.
The hit track became an anthem for the 2013 Michigan State football team, who welcomed Quan to join them on the field when they celebrated their victory over Stanford in the 2014 Rose Bowl.
John Amos’ daughter reveals she found out about her father’s death “through the media”
As previously reported on Tuesday (Oct. 1), it was revealed that "Good Times" actor John Amos passed away in August. His son, K.C. Amos, confirmed the unfortunate news in a statement shared by The Hollywood Reporter.
Hours after John's passing went public, his daughter, Shannon Amos, stated that she learned about her father's death from news headlines. "I am without words," she began in an Instagram post. "Our family has received the heartbreaking news that my dad, John Allen Amos, Jr., transitioned on Aug. 21. We are devastated and left with many questions about how this happened 45 days ago, learning about it through the media like so many of you."
Shannon continued, "This should be a time of honoring and celebrating his life, yet we are struggling to navigate the wave of emotions and uncertainties surrounding his passing. Still, there is some semblance of peace in knowing my father is finally free. My family and I deeply appreciate the outpouring of love, calls, and texts. Please continue to hold our family in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you." The content creator and plant medicine advocate also shared a video of her dancing with John during better times.
As reported earlier this year, Los Angeles authorities launched an investigation after Shannon claimed that John wasn't receiving the right care from K.C. As she explained to the publication, the inquiry was closed after police found no evidence of wrongdoing.
“While I acknowledge the efforts of the LAPD on my father’s case, I am disappointed with their conclusion since no one from my family has seen or spoken to my father since July 2023, when K.C. Amos, Eugene Brummet, and Belinda Foster removed him from a medical facility against doctors’ orders,” she said. “We continue to receive outreach from care providers, medical professionals, and others with evidence that raises concerns over his well-being and whether he is receiving the care his health requires.”
Christina Aguilera Continues To Spark Concern With 'Super Skinny' Look Amid Ozempic Accusations

Christina Aguilera Continues To Spark Concern With 'Super Skinny' Look Amid Ozempic Accusations
Christina Aguilera continues to make her fans worried with her new look. The 43-year-old sparked concern as she looked "super skinny" in a new fan-taken video that circulated online on Tuesday, October 1.
The said clip featured the star looking in high spirits while chatting with friends at a Barry’s Bootcamp event. The blonde beauty rocked a black bodysuit that hugged her tiny figure, while completing her style with leather boots.
Upon catching wind of the video, Internet users couldn't help but notice the Genie In A Bottle hitmaker's major weight loss with some of them accusing the singer of taking Ozempic. “Ozempic is not what a girl wants or what a girl needs," one user commented.
"Her unhealthy weight loss isn’t from working out it’s from taking this ridiculous diet the celebrities are doing right now and she doesn’t look good for it either," another echoed the sentiment. “Wait she lost all that weight because of ozampic not exercise," one other added.
Someone else opined, “I don’t think she works out . She just doesn’t eat.” Another critic said, “Ozampic is not a fitness,” while another wrote, “I’m sorry I’m gonna probably get hate for this, but I think she’s too thin."
Christina, however, didn't seem to be bothered by wild speculations regarding her weight loss. "I have a maturity now where I just don't give a f**k about your opinion. I'm not going to take it on," Xtina told Glamour for the August 2024 issue. "It must be your responsibility to take up your space. Other people's opinions of me are not my business."
"I started to fill out, and then that was unacceptable because it was like, 'Oh, she's getting thicker.' Then I had industry people: 'They liked your body and how you were as a skinny teenager,' " she continued.
The star's perspective, however, shifted, especially as a mother. "Your kids trigger things in you that you don't want them to go through," she explained. "And it's almost like you're reliving this whole thing again. ... You just want the best for your kids."

'Scream 7' Gets Official Release Date After Major Setbacks
Prepare yourself for a chilling return to Woodsboro as "Scream 7" a.k.a. "Scream VII" is set to hit theaters on February 27, 2026, confirmed by returning star Neve Campbell. Campbell, reprising her iconic role as Sidney Prescott, broke the news on social media with a cheeky Instagram post teasing a "killer 2026." Alongside her, the franchise's creator Kevin Williamson will helm the director's chair.
This release marks three years since the franchise's last outing with "Scream VI" in 2023 and the return of Campbell, who previously skipped "Scream VI" due to a salary dispute.
However, the franchise has faced challenges in recent years. Melissa Barrera, who starred in the fifth installment "Scream" and "Scream VI," was fired for her pro-Palestinian stance, while Jenna Ortega, another key cast member, departed due to scheduling conflicts with her "Wednesday" production.
Despite these setbacks, the fate of "Scream 7" remained in the air until Campbell's recent announcement. Courteney Cox is also in talks to reprise her role as Gale Weathers, although a deal has yet to be officially finalized.
Guy Busick, who penned both "Scream" (2022) and "Scream VI", is handling the screenplay for "Scream 7". Executive producers include Radio Silence, the filmmaking team behind the Barrera- and Ortega-led installments.
Plot details remain under wraps, but Campbell has hinted that the sequel will focus on her character Sidney. Rumors abound that Patrick Dempsey may return as Detective Mark Kincaid, Sidney's husband since the events of "Scream 3".
The "Scream" franchise has grossed over $908 million at the global box office since its inception in 1996. "Scream 7" is set to be a global release for Spyglass Media and Paramount Pictures.
Amazon Yanks Bestselling Memoir Alleging Abuse in Kim Porter and Diddy’s Relationship
Amazon confirmed the removal of a memoir, Kim’s Lost Words: A Journey for Justice, which alleged an abusive relationship between the late Kim Porter and hip-hop icon Sean “Diddy” Combs. The book, released under the pseudonym Jamal T. Millwood, claimed to expose Diddy’s violent behavior towards Porter, including physical abuse and sexual coercion.
Porter and Combs’ children strongly denounced the memoir as fabricated, which led to Amazon’s decision. “We were made aware of a dispute and have notified the publisher,” an Amazon spokesperson stated. The book was pulled from the site after reaching the No. 1 spot on Amazon’s bestseller list in September, following news of Diddy’s recent legal troubles.
The memoir’s publisher, Chris Todd, claimed to have compiled the story using documents and tapes from sources close to Porter and Combs. However, Todd has not commented on the book’s removal, and its credibility remains under fire. Despite its initial success, the book is no longer available for purchase on Amazon.
Chanel Brand Names Lupita Nyong’o Newest Esteemed Ambassador
Fashion season is in full swing, especially with Paris Fashion Week being a global extravaganza. A-list actor Lupita Nyong’o has been named Chanel’s newest ambassador, as reported exclusively by WWD.
Check this out, the French fashion house announced following the actress’s appearance at its Spring 2025 ready-to-wear show, held at the Grand Palais on the final day of Paris Fashion Week.
Regarding Chanel’s track record, Nyong’o, 41, joins the ranks of previous esteemed ambassadors, including Whitney Peak, Margot Robbie, Riley Keough, Charlotte Casiraghi, and Kristen Stewart.
While speaking to the Associated Press, the actress expressed her excitement about this new role, stating, “It’s a great honor. Chanel is a legacy brand with a long history. And to be the newest face of it feels monumental. I feel very, very proud and excited to take this new journey with a brand that I think is dynamic and always feminine and regal.”
When reflecting on the influence of fashion, Nyong’o reflected on the impact of fashion icon Bethann Hardison, whose pioneering work for diversity in the industry during the 1960s and 1970s left a lasting impact. Hardison gained recognition after participating in the historic 1973 Battle of Versailles fashion show and became one of the first prominent Black models.
“I would hope that there is a message for little girls,” Nyong’o said. “My work as an actor and as an author, as a podcast maker, and now as a brand ambassador, is to change that by just occupying the space.” She emphasized how representation in these roles can inspire others and reshape perceptions, saying that when someone occupies a space that was once empty, it alters how people see themselves and the world around them.
As for Hollywood, Nyong’o voiced the lead character in The Wild Robot, a DreamWorks Animation feature that premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 8, 2024, and was released in U.S. theaters on Sept. 27, 2024.
Rob Marciano Lands New Weatherman Role at CBS News 6 Months after “GMA” Firing
Rob Marciano is reportedly returning to our TV screens! According to a report from journalist Oliver Darcy in his daily Status newsletter, Marciano is joining CBS News. Previously on Good Morning America and ABC World News Tonight With David Muir, PEOPLE confirmed earlier this year that Marciano, 56, exited ABC following complaints of alleged bad behavior.
CBS News and Marciano’s reps did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
On May 1, just one day after news broke that the meteorologist would no longer be working with ABC, a former coworker Swetha Sharma told PEOPLE about her experience working with him. She explained that Marciano was quick to anger, although many people had positive experiences working with him as well.
"He was nice but that also wasn't everyone's experience with him," Sharma said. "There were always stories about him about his temper. No one that worked with him or witnessed his behavior is surprised by any of this."
A source, on the other hand, told PEOPLE on May 2 that there was no truth behind claims that he had a bad temper.
"Rob is always positive, hands-on and never anything but professional," the source said, labeling the firing as a “hit job.”
"People enjoy working with him and he's not difficult to work with," he added.
The source went on to say that several people at the network were shocked by his departure, noting it was "unbelievable he was let go."
"The Rob Marciano being portrayed is not the Rob Marciano we know," he said, continuing to say that he never heard "anything but praise" for Marciano and his work ethic. “Rob has always been nothing but professional. He is truly invested in his segments, cares a tremendous amount about his final work product."
A female editor who worked with Marciano on his weather segment shared similar sentiments, explaining that “Rob was always such a nice guy and I loved when he stopped by my edit room to check on his weather packages."
Another female colleague of Marciano’s told PEOPLE at the time that she wasn’t "exaggerating" when she calls Marciano the "nicest, most professional and respectful person I’ve ever worked with."
“He was hard-working and kind to everyone,” she maintained. “So many people in news can be cut-throat, or creepy, or generally unpleasant, but Rob is not one of them. He’s the definition of a standup guy."
A third female co-worker who spent a decade at CNN with Marciano told PEOPLE that her "heart hurts" seeing all of the negative reports about the weather reporter.
"Rob is great. No one championed my career in that building more than he did and no one took care of the crew in the field better than he did in my 10 years of working there," she said. "I had plenty of really bad encounters at CNN and people who treated me terribly."
The insider continued to say that Marciano "answered the calls and said, 'Let's get coffee and you can tell me about it.'"
"He listened. He helped,” she said.
Burger King’s Launches New Spooky Lineup Menu Inspired By ‘The Addams Family’
This Halloween season, Burger King is stepping into spooky season with a lineup inspired by MGM Studios’ 2019 animated version of ‘The Addams Family.’ Kicking off on October 10th, burger lovers can enjoy a new menu that pays homage to the creepy characters. The fast food joint offers Gomez’s Churro Fries, Thing’s Rings, Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake, and Wednesday Whoppers. While the new menu may be perfect for the ghoulish season, the items will only be available briefly at select Burger King locations.
“Halloween holds a special place in our brand’s history, and we know our guests look forward to seeing what delicious and kooky creations we come up with each year,” Pat O’Toole, Burger King’s chief marketing officer, said.
The Wednesday Whopper is deemed the highlight of this year’s Halloween offerings, bringing a splash of color to the chain’s flamed-grilled burgers. The sandwich will still include all of the beloved toppings of the classic burger but on a vibrant purple bun. If you’re curious about the interesting hue, Burger King assures you that the color comes naturally from purple potatoes. In addition to its color, the bun will also feature black sesame seeds to add to the eerie feel.
Meanwhile, if you’re craving something a bit sweeter, Gomez’s churro Fries are the perfect treat. Covered in cinnamon sugar and served with chocolate dipping sauce, the churro fries are sure to leave you wanting more. However, the sweet desserts don’t end there. Morticia’s Kooky Chocolate Shake, made with ice cream and purple and black cookie crumbles, adds to the list of sweet treats with its swirl of chocolate cake batter-flavored fudge.
Closing out the menu, the Thing’s Rings onion rings are a good choice to complement your Wednesday Whopper. The idea is a nod to The Addams Family’s iconic disembodied hand, Thing. But, of course, no meal is complete without a toy, and Burger King has included limited-edition toys inspired by The Addams Family’s characters.
Nonetheless, Burger King is no stranger to Halloween-themed treats. If you recall, the franchise released Halloween whoppers with black buns. Unfortunately, the burgers were a flop, but the fast food chain has learned from its mistakes.
This release marks three years since the franchise's last outing with "Scream VI" in 2023 and the return of Campbell, who previously skipped "Scream VI" due to a salary dispute.
