#RHOA: What's Tea?☕ NeNe Leakes, 56, sparks plastic surgery rumors
The 56-year-old former star of the Real Housewives Of Atlanta recently took to Instagram to share a short video of herself out at an event with a different appearance months after it was revealed she would not be coming back to the Bravo show.
She showcased her curvaceous figure in a clinging black off-the-shoulder dress featuring several cutouts down it.

She showcased her stunning looks with shiny lip as her platinum blonde locks were worn down.
People were quick to react to her different appearance as one commenter wrote: 'Hold the hell up. Where the hell is NeNe.'

A different comment read: 'Hold the hell up. Where the hell is NeNe,' Another stoked the flames of plastic surgery speculation.
They wrote: 'Her doctor should win an award. She has come a mighty long ways.' Earlier this year it was announced that NeNe will not be returning to the Real Housewives of Atlanta — at least for now.

The reality star, who will star in the Lifetime drama Hunting Housewives with Denise Richards, will not be part of season 16 of the popular reality series, according to TMZ back in February.
The outlet reported that NeNe had not been in talks with the RHOA producers, and she has not been pursing talks with them either.
This will come as a huge disappointment to fans who have been making social media posts requesting she return to the drama.
NeNe, who was a breakout star when the show launched, left in 2020 and filed a lawsuit two years later alleging that she was subjected to a toxic work environment suffused with racism.

#MusicNews: Chris Brown Reacts To Petition To Cancel His South Africa Concert: "Can't Wait To Come"
Chris Brown is slated to take on Johannesburg’s First National Bank Stadium in South Africa on Dec. 14 and 15. Despite one of the dates already being sold out, some people don’t want to see the R&B singer take the stage, especially in light of his alleged abusive past.
Earlier in the month, Women For Change launched a petition in hopes that the South African government would reconsider their decision to let the “No Guidance” hitmaker perform. "When I saw the news that Chris Brown was coming to South Africa, I was shocked and deeply disappointed," the non-profit organization’s executive director, Sabina Walter, told BBC.

She continued, “The petition was started to send a strong message that we will not tolerate the celebration of individuals with a history of violence against women.” At the time of reporting, it shows over 39,000 signatures — more than 6,500 of which occurred on Wednesday (Oct. 16).
Brown responded to the outrage on Tuesday (Oct. 15) by leaving a comment underneath Women for Change’s TikTok repost regarding the incident: “Can’t wait to come.” It’s unclear whether he was poking fun at the organization or simply being genuine, though the artist’s remarks garnered a whopping 1,000 replies and nearly 7,000 likes.

The two South African shows are a part of the musician’s “The 11:11 Tour,” which wrapped up its North American leg in August. With Ayra Starr and Muni Long joining him on select dates, the Grammy Award-winning musician swept through major cities like Boston, Philadelphia, Houston, Oakland and Las Vegas.
Ahead of the trek, Brown debuted the deluxe version of 11:11, his 11th studio album. It welcomed new tracks like “Go Girlfriend,” “Delusional” and “Freak.” On the last-mentioned track, he took jabs at Quavo, which sparked a trade of diss records and shots between the two online.

#HipHopNews: Method Man Shares Whether He Thinks Rap Is A “Young Man’s Sport”

Method Man got real during his appearance on “Drink Champs” at 2024 REVOLT WORLD and spoke on something that's been a long-standing debate in Hip Hop: the idea that rap is a "young man's sport." He didn’t hold back, making it clear that while the game has always leaned toward the younger generation, many of the older heads are still making major moves.

“This has always been a young man’s sport... You can’t blame them for that,” Method Man said, acknowledging the reality that Hip Hop is constantly evolving with new faces. However, he quickly pointed out that many OGs are still relevant, defying the notion that once you hit a certain age, your time in the spotlight is over. “Some of those guys that came from this earlier era are still relevant today... The older cats have been filling up arenas with unity. A lot of us together, and that s**t is crazy to me,” he added.

What stood out was his take on how older artists are filling arenas and putting on for their generation in ways that still move the culture. Yes, the younger rappers are drawing crowds, but the unity among the older generation creates moments that can’t be ignored. Method Man is tapping into something that’s been brewing for a minute — Hip Hop may be a young man’s game, but the OGs still have the power to bring people together and make an impact.

But there’s also a deeper issue that he touched on. According to Method Man, it’s not the industry execs causing tension between older and newer artists — it’s coming from within the culture. “It’s coming from our own, the people that are around us because they are already compromised by your success, which is crazy,” the living legend said. He hinted at the internal drama, where people close to artists might be contributing to the disconnect by not wanting to see others thrive.

The conversation highlighted the struggle of staying relevant as an older artist while watching the younger generation rise. In the end, Method Man sees the bigger picture. The game will always welcome new faces, but as long as you deliver quality and maintain unity, there’s room for everyone at the table. And the OGs? They’re not going anywhere.

Serena Williams Gives Health Update After Neck Surgery
Health is wealth and in this era, anything even remotely concerning is worth looking into. Serena Williams recently gave fans an update on her health after having to undergo neck surgery upon discovering a cyst that could have been cancerous.
The 43-year-old tennis legend found a lump in her neck this past May, had an MRI done, and learned that she did not need to get it removed if she didn’t want to because, at the time, it would not have any severe effects on her health. She opted not to have it removed, but the lump continued to grow over time.

Williams had more tests done, including a biopsy that revealed the lump tested negative for cancer, and was told by her doctors that she should have it removed because it could get infected or begin to leak. “So this is me removing it,” she said in a video she posted showing herself lying in her hospital bed. “I am feeling so grateful, and fortunate everything worked out, and most of all I’m healthy.” Watch below.

Back in May I found a lump showing on my neck. I immediately went to the doc got a mri and was told I have a brachial cyst. Have you ever heard of that? They said I don’t need to get it removed if I don’t want. So I did not get it but it kept growing. I decided to get more test and 3 test and one biopsy later everything is still negative but doctors advised I get it removed asap because it was the size of a small grapefruit and it could get infected or worse leak. So this is me removing it. I am feelimg so grateful, and fortunate everything worked out, and most of all I’m healthy. I still made it to American doll with Olympia as promised. And yes all is ok. ???? #fyp #foryourpage #serenawilliams #mom
On X, Serena Williams expressed sadness at the fact she missed Glamour Magazine’s Woman Of The Year Awards and tennis legend Rafael Nadal’s retirement; however, reiterated the importance of prioritizing one’s health. “I am still recovering, but getting better,” she wrote. “Health always comes first.”

The 23-time Grand Slam title winner in singles competition has been enjoying life since retiring from tennis in 2022. This past July, she hosted the 2024 ESPYs and capitalized on one of the biggest moments of the year by referencing Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us” during her opening monologue.

“And if I’ve learned anything this year, it’s that none of us—not a single one of us, not even me—should ever pick a fight with Kendrick Lamar,” she said. “He will make your hometown not like you. The next time Drake sits courtside at a Raptors game, they’re gonna Forrest Gump him.” Williams also hosted a star-studded afterparty with attendees such as Ciara, Russell Wilson, Kelly Rowland, Mustard, O’Shea Jackson Jr., and more. Watch the monologue below.

Angel Reese Says Her WNBA Salary Isn’t Enough To Pay Her Rent

Angel Reese has quickly risen to become one of the hottest names in the WNBA, and her name has garnered her plenty of opportunities outside of the sport she loves. The star athlete recently shared that her side endeavors are helping her fund her lifestyle, as her WBNA salary currently does not “pay her bills.”

While on Instagram Live, Reese lightheartedly encouraged her haters to keep hating because “hating pays the bills.” She then went into how her role on the Chicago Sky doesn’t cover her main expenses, such as rent.
“Hating pays them bills, baby. I just hope you know the WNBA don’t pay my bills at all,” she said. “I don’t even think that pays one of my bills. Literally, I’m trying to think of my rent for where I stay at. Let me do the math real quick. I don’t even know my [WNBA] salary. $74,000?”

After her friend crunched some numbers and confirmed Reese’s salary doesn’t cover her $8,000 rent, the LSU alum jokingly exclaimed, “I’m living above my means!” Check out the clip above.
“Babe, if y’all thought… That WNBA check don’t pay a thing. Did that even pay my car note?… I wouldn’t even be able to eat a sandwich with that. I wouldn’t even be able to eat. I wouldn’t be able to live,” she went on.

In addition to lucrative sponsorships, Reese is able to supplement her WNBA income with various side endeavors, with her most recent project being her Unapologetically Angel podcast. She launched the show in September 2024 and has already released episodes featuring Latto, Mariah The Scientist, Kayla Nicole, Dwyane Wade, and more.

However, it looks like Reese’s stature in the league is only going to get better, as she was recently named on Sports Illustrated‘s list of the 50 Most Influential Athletes of 2024. The 22-year-old has made headlines this season for her impressive performances, including setting a league record for the most consecutive double-doubles.
Additionally, the Chicago Sky forward broke the WNBA single-season rebounding record and became the first rookie in any American professional basketball team to achieve back-to-back 20-rebound games since NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal did so in 1993.

Diddy Photographed With Alleged Male Victim At 1998 White Party
Sean "Diddy" Combs arrives at the White Party hosted by Sean "Diddy" Combs and Ashton Kutcher to help raise awareness for Malaria No More held at a Private Residence on July 4, 2009 in Beverly Hills, California. Grant/Getty Images
Diddy was reportedly photographed with one of his alleged male victims in a photo from 1998. Page Six reports that they have obtained photos from one of Combs’ White Parties, with one of them including a shot of him with the unidentified male. The unnamed male, who was 16 at the time, could be seen in the photo with Sean Combs, 28 at the time, in the Hamptons. Combs’ arm was seen draped around the teenager on a lawn in front of the festivities.

John Doe filed a lawsuit on Monday (Oct. 14) alleging that Combs sexually assaulted him during the day of that photo. Doe claims that the disgraced mogul said he “had the look of a star” and then demanded him to “remove his pants.” Doe alleged that Combs told him that the act was a “rite of passage” in the music industry to become a star, asking the kid, “Don’t you want to break into the business?”

Out of fear, Doe claims to have conceded to Combs’ demands, acting out of “anxiety” and “fear.” While he didn’t reportedly know it then, Doe realized over the years that Combs sexually assaulted him that day.
“As a result of Combs’ sexual assault onto John Doe while he was a minor, John Doe experienced damages including pain and suffering, mental anguish, physical impairment and emotional torment,” the lawsuit reads. “Because of Combs’ power and notoriety, Plaintiff was afraid to report what had happened. John Doe became yet another sexual assault victim of Combs through the same pattern and abuse of influence Combs exercised over others previously.”

John Doe was one of six people who recently filed a suit against the Bad Boy Records founder on Monday, with others claiming he raped, abused, and threatened them over the years.

Sean Combs’ team responded to the allegations, telling the outlet that Doe’s claims were unfounded, stating that their client “has never sexually assaulted anyone… adult or minor, man or woman.”
“The press conference and 1-800 number that preceded today’s barrage of filings were clear attempts to garner publicity. Mr. Combs and his legal team have full confidence in the facts, their legal defenses, and the integrity of the judicial process,” the statement to the outlet read.

Drake’s new hairstyle leaves fans shocked and confused

In the ever-evolving world of hip-hop, few artists generate as much buzz as Drake. Recently, the Toronto rapper has found himself at the center of social media backlash due to a new hairstyle that many are comparing to an iconic look from Snoop Dogg in the 2000s. The hairstyle features two braided pigtails adorned with light blue bows, which has led to a flurry of reactions online.

In the ever-evolving world of hip-hop, few artists generate as much buzz…
Drake shared a mirror selfie showcasing his new look, which quickly caught the attention of fans and critics alike. The outfit, a denim shirt paired with blue jeans and an oversized leather jacket, complemented the playful hairstyle. However, the response was far from positive. Many users took to social media to express their opinions, with comments ranging from amusement to outright criticism.

The speculation surrounding Drake’s mental state has intensified following his recent public appearances. During a speech at a Toronto club, he opened up about dealing with fake friends and feelings of betrayal. This candid moment prompted Charlamagne Tha God to comment on The Breakfast Club, suggesting that Kendrick’s lyrical jabs have left Drake feeling vulnerable.
Adding to the drama, reports surfaced of Drake going on an unfollowing spree on social media, which further fueled the narrative that he is struggling with personal issues.

Drake’s recent public appearances
Despite the backlash, Drake continues to make headlines. He was recently spotted at 21 Savage’s Freaknik22: The Sequel alongside Lil Yachty. The event took place in Atlanta, Georgia, and showcased the camaraderie within the hip-hop community. Fans are eager to see how Drake will navigate the mixed reactions to his new look and the ongoing speculation about his emotional well-being.

What’s next for Drake?
As Drake continues to evolve as an artist, fans are left wondering what his next move will be. Will he address the backlash directly in his music? Or will he continue to experiment with his style and persona? One thing is for sure: Drake knows how to keep the conversation going, whether it’s through his music, fashion choices, or public appearances.

Drake’s latest hairstyle may have sparked controversy, but it also highlights the complexities of celebrity culture and the scrutiny that comes with fame. As fans and critics alike weigh in on his choices, one thing is certain: Drake’s impact on hip-hop and pop culture is undeniable, and his journey continues to captivate audiences around the world.

This incident underscores the intense scrutiny that public figures, especially in the hip-hop community, face regarding their personal choices and style. Drake’s ability to generate discussion, whether positive or negative, demonstrates his significant influence in popular culture.

The varied reactions to Drake’s new look also reflect broader conversations about masculinity in hip-hop, cultural appropriation, and the pressure artists face to constantly reinvent themselves to stay relevant.
As the discourse surrounding Drake’s choices continues, it’s important to consider the impact of social media on celebrity culture and mental health. The instant and often harsh feedback celebrities receive can have significant psychological effects, raising questions about the boundaries between public personas and private individuals.

T.I.'s son, King Harris, arrested in Dunwoody
Atlanta rapper T.I.'s son, Clifford "King" Harris, Jr., was arrested in Dunwoody on Monday.

He was charged in August 2022 with speeding, knowingly driving a motor vehicle on a suspended license and driving under the influence of drugs.

In September 2024, there was an arraignment notice returned and a bench warrant issued.
The day after he was arrested in Dunwoody and taken to the DeKalb County Jail, King was released to Pickens County and there was a recall ordered for the bench warrant.

His current status is unknown.

'Big Meech,' Black Mafia Family co-founder, released from jail, finishing sentence in halfway house: report

Flenory was arrested in 2005 and later sentenced to 30 years in prison after he was convicted on charges related to drug trafficking and money laundering. He is expected to be released on Jan. 27, 2026, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Demetrius "Big Meech" Flenory, the infamous co-founder of the Black Mafia Family crime enterprise, has been released from jail and will finish his sentence at a halfway house, TMZ reported Wednesday.

The Federal Bureau of Prisons tells the entertainment media outlet that Flenory was transferred Tuesday from FCI Coleman Low in Wildwood to community confinement overseen by the Bureau of Prisons Miami Residential Reentry Management Office.
Flenory was arrested in 2005, and in 2008 he was sentenced to 30 years in prison after being convicted on charges related to drug trafficking and money laundering. In 2024, a judge shortened his sentence by almost three years.

According to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, Flenory is expected to be released on Jan. 27, 2026.
Who was the Black Mafia Family?
The BMF was founded in 1985 in Detroit and was led by brothers Demetrius and Terry Flenory. The crime syndicate was a drug-trafficking and money-laundering operation.

Newsweek reported that BMF had over 500 members nationwide and made more than $270 million between 1989 and 2005.
In 2000, the Flenory brothers built a cocaine distribution network through their Los Angeles–based drug sources and their connections to Mexican drug cartels.

According to Newsweek, Demetrius also launched BMF Entertainment, a hip-hop music business that served as a front for the brothers' money laundering and other sources of income.
But in October 2005, the Drug Enforcement Agency conducted a drug raid, arresting 30 members of the BMF. During the raid, $2 million in cash and assets, including weapons and cocaine were seized. That same year, the Flenory brothers were indicted on multiple charges.

Citing court documents, Newsweek reported that the brothers pleaded guilty in 2007 to operating a continuing criminal enterprise "involving the large-scale distribution of cocaine" in the U.S. from 1990 to 2005.
Demetrius and Terry were sentenced to 30 years in prison for being leaders of the BMF criminal enterprise.

Tyra Banks Closed the VS Fashion Show With a Strut and a Smize
Tyra Banks closed the VS Fashion Show? Sorry, what year is it again? The 50-year-old model, who was once a staple of the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show runways, made her grand return to the catwalk on October 15 for the revamped presentation, which was resuscitated following the brand’s very public downfall and subsequent rebranding.
Banks closed the show in a black bra and bedazzled corset, which was paired with a stunning silver cape that she modeled the heck out of, to no one’s surprise.

Tyra Banks walks the runway for the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show 2024 on October 15, 2024, in New York City.
The former America’s Next Top Model host and inventor of the “smize” was one of several returning models who had retired their Angel wings under Victoria’s Secret’s previous management, including Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Adriana Lima, and Alessandra Ambrosio. Millennial Angels like Joan Smalls, Josephine Skriver, Taylor Hill, Behati Prinsloo, Jasmine Tookes, and Gigi and Bella Hadid, who dominated the VS Pink era, also returned to the runway.

Of note, transgender models Alex Consani and Victoria Sampaio also walked the VS Fashion Show. This comes six years after the brand’s former chief marketing officer made transphobic comments in a Vogue interview, triggering major changes at the company. The remarks were considered the tipping point for the brand, which was already under fire for their narrow beauty ideals. In 2019, after 24 years, Victoria’s Secret shelved their annual fashion show and embarked on a rebrand.

When they announced their return in May 2024, the company promised a more inclusive presentation. In addition to history-making models Consani and Sampaio, Ashley Graham and Paloma Elsesser, two plus-size models, made their VS Fashion Show debut last night.
While Tyra Banks’s VS Fashion Show return feels a bit like déjà vu, we can say with certainty that this is not 2004’s Victoria’s Secret. But, was it a success? That’s still up in the air.

On the other hand, tributes poured from other celebrities, including Charlie Puth and Paris Hilton. "I am in shock right now. Liam was always so kind to me. Angie Martinez, DJ Scratch, and more debunk rumors of DJ Clark Kent’s passing
On Wednesday (Oct. 16), The Source and other publications reported on the death of DJ Clark Kent. Not long after, several Hip Hop peers hopped on social media to debunk what was revealed to be a rumor gone viral.

“DJ Clark Kent has not passed away,” shared DJ Scratch in an Instagram message. “Stop traumatizing the family [by] posting he has passed!” In addition to screenshotting Scratch's post on his own account, Pete Rock added, “A lot of y'all online need to get a life. Quick to report some s**t. [Shaking my f**king head]. [I] can't stand some of y'all.”
Taking to Twitter, Angie Martinez debunked the news with an announcement of her own. “The article that The Source and others have posted about the passing of DJ Clark Kent is false,” she wrote. “Clark is home with his family. Please refrain from sharing any other false information. It is hurtful, deeply irresponsible, and untrue.”

The Source then delivered an explanation of the error to the Power 105.1 talent, stating, “The Source was contacted by a family member who brought that information to us as it was reported on other outlets. We are pleased to hear of the well-being of DJ Clark Kent and apologize to the family for reporting the false information.” Martinez responded to the website, assuring that said contact “was not a credible source.” Clark Kent hasn’t yet spoken on the situation.

Back in August, it was revealed by The Hollywood Reporter that a documentary on the iconic beatsmith is in the works. Titled God’s Favorite DJ: The Story of DJ Clark Kent, the film serves as Martinez's directorial debut and will feature appearances from JAY-Z, Questlove, and more.

“DJ Clark Kent is a rare gem whose influence is seen in nearly every era of Hip Hop’s history books,” Martinez expressed. “With our 50-year-old culture susceptible to outside perspective and agenda, it’s important that we spotlight the heroes who push the art form with purity and authenticity. I am honored to help share Clark’s many truths with the world.”

Nick Jonas Abruptly Exits Stage After Being Targeted By Laser Pointer During Jonas Brothers Concert

Video footage of Nick Jonas rushing off stage during a recent performance is circulating the internet.
The incident occurred during the Jonas Brothers’ stop at the O2 Arena in Prague on Tuesday (Oct. 15). Apparently, an audience member pointed a red laser directly at the “Jealous” singer, which spooked him. The viral clip shows Nick Jonas signaling “time-out” to security as he jumps up from the piano and rushes off the stage. The show was subsequently paused for several minutes.

An O2 spokesperson addressed what happened with Entertainment Weekly:
“We can confirm that the Jonas Brothers’ performance had to be interrupted for several minutes due to the use of a prohibited laser pointer by the person. The organizing service responded to this fact immediately. After a few minutes, the band continued their performance and went back on the stage.”

An insider shared with Daily Mail that Nick Jonas feels “relieved” security had the proper “training” and everything went “exactly as planned Not that Nick or his brothers ever want to think of a catastrophe or a tragedy, they have ways of being present with their team if they ever think they are in danger and that is exactly what we saw in Prague.”

The Jonas Brothers tour is set to continue as planned and fans can expect to see them tonight in Krakow, Poland.

DJ Akademiks’ Twitch Channel Temporarily Deactivated After Hosting Livestream w/ Adin Ross: ‘T’ll Be Back’
Fans of DJ Akademiks will have to view his popular livestreams anywhere other than Twitch for the next couple of days.
The platform recently deactivated the culture commentator’s account following a recent stream he conducted with (banned) streamer Adin Ross.

According to Complex, Ross was suspended indefinitely from Twitch back in February of last year, and Akademiks hosting him on his channel was a direct violation of Twitch’s community policies.
At this time, the platform has not publicly disclosed the specific reason for giving Akademiks the boot. He did, however, react to the situation on his X account and clarified that the ban is only temporary.

After DJ Hed advised him to “stay on stream,” Akademiks wrote:
“I Will. I’ll be back streaming tonight on YT at 8 PM EST for another 7 hours with over 17,000 watching concurrently the whole time . Anyhow.. Hows ur podcast views lookin tho? Prolly could use a Kendrick Lamar stimmy huh?”

He added in a follow-up post:
“Oh Btw… it was a 72 Hr Suspension on Twitch. Shouts to my Twitch partner manager… Ngl they did warn me over like 4 times in the past bout streaming with Adin. They def dont fw that n***a lol. we on YT til then.”

Mariah Carey Addresses Her Few Grammy Wins, Says Her 'Best Album' Was Overlooked

Mariah Carey has some thoughts about how she’s been treated by the Recording Academy, the organization responsible for the Grammy Awards.
Believe it or not, the 55-year-old chanteuse has only received five awards at the ceremony over the years.
During a recent interview, she opened up about the relatively minimal recognition that she’s received considering her lengthy and historic career. She also said that her “best album” was overlooked.

While on the Las Culturistas podcast, Mariah was told that she didn’t “have enough” wins at the ceremony.
“They scaaaaammed me,” she agreed, via EW, adding, “They toy with me.”
Mariah also referred to her 1997 album Butterfly as being “probably [her] best album.” She noted that it got “zero accolades.” At the Grammys that year, her singles “Honey” and “Butterfly” were both nominated but did not win.

What Grammys has she won?
Mariah won her first two Grammys at the 1991 ceremony, where she was named Best New Artist and was awarded Best Pop Vocal Performance, Female for “Vision of Love.” Her next and final wins came in 2006 for her album The Emancipation of Mimi (Best Contemporary R&B Album) and her song “We Belong Together” (Best R&B Song and Best Female R&B Vocal Performance).

Her last nomination at the Grammys was in 2009, when she snatched a nod in the Best Gospel Performance category for her song “I Understand.”

Cynthia Erivo Responds to ‘Offensive’ Fan Edits of ‘Wicked’ Poster: ‘It Degrades Me’
British actress Cynthia Erivo speaks about the movie "Wicked" during the Universal Pictures and Focus Features presentation at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace at CinemaCon 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada, on April 10, 2024. - Credit: Valerie Macon/AFP/Getty Images
Everyone involved with the film adaptation of Wicked was aware of the pressure they would inherit from the fan base of one of Broadway’s most beloved musicals. And yet, this acknowledgment hasn’t made any of the budding criticism around the movie, out Nov. 22, any easier to encounter. When the official poster for Wicked wasn’t an exact replica of the illustrated Broadway artwork, fans made their own edits to it — but Cynthia Erivo, who portrays Elphaba in the film, has called the changes “the wildest, most offensive thing I have seen.”

Erivo sounded off on her Instagram Story after coming across fan-made posters that edited the Wicked poster to show Elphaba with her eyes covered by a black witch hat. The new photos also adjusted the placement of Glinda’s (Ariana Grande) hand to the position of the original poster. “The original poster is an ILLUSTRATION,” the actress wrote. “I am a real life human being, who chose to look right down the barrel of the camera to you, the viewer …because, without words we communicate with our eyes.”

The next slide of Erivo’s Instagram Story shares the original poster, as opposed to the edited one she reposted from a fan account. “Let me put this right here, to remind you and cleanse your palette.” The side by side comparison highlights other tweaks, including the addition of a red lip instead of the green lipstick of the film poster. “Our poster is an homage not an imitation,” Erivo continued. “To edit my face and hide my eyes is to erase me. And that is just deeply hurtful.”

The actress grouped the changes in with being as offensive as AI videos of Elphaba and Glinda fighting and the running “is your p—y green?” meme. “None of this is funny. None of it is cute,” she said. “It degrades me. It degrades us.”
Grande did not directly criticize the edits, but did re-share the original Wicked poster on her Instagram Story without comment.

Jimmy Carter Fulfills Wish to Live Long Enough to Cast Ballot for Kamala Harris

Former U.S. President Jimmy Carter waves to the congregation after teaching Sunday school at Maranatha Baptist Church in his hometown of Plains, Georgia on April 28, 2019. Carter, 94, has taught Sunday school at the church on a regular basis since leaving the White House in 1981, drawing hundreds of visitors who arrive hours before the 10:00 am lesson in order to get a seat and have a photograph taken with the former President and former First Lady Rosalynn Carter. Former President Jimmy Carter fulfilled one last personal wish while in hospice care: casting his vote for Kamala Harris.
Carter, who turned 100 on October 1 and has been in hospice care since February 2023, had one goal left before passing—voting in the 2024 election. His grandson Jason Carter shared, “He’s only trying to make it to vote for Kamala Harris.”

On Wednesday, October 16, Carter’s wish came true. With the help of his family, the longest-living U.S. president filled out an absentee ballot, which was delivered to a dropbox at the Sumter County Courthouse near Plains, Georgia, by his daughter-in-law, Becky Carter.
“He feels good about it,” said his son, Chip Carter. “It was a good morning for him and good for us that he got it done.”

Chip confirmed that his father, a lifelong Democrat, voted for Harris without hesitation. “He’s never voted for a Republican in his life,” Chip said proudly.
Jason Carter, speaking at the Democratic National Convention, explained why his family is so firmly behind Harris. “Kamala Harris carries my grandfather’s legacy. She knows what’s right and fights for it with strength, decency, and a smile.”

Live Nation Hit with $5 Million Lawsuit Over Massive Ticketmaster Data Breach
Live Nation is in hot water yet again after a data breach at Ticketmaster affected over 560 million customers.
The hacking group ShinyHunters allegedly stole personal information, including names, addresses, emails, phone numbers, and credit card details.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, it took Live Nation nearly two months to notice the breach, raising serious concerns about their security.
The lawsuit claims Live Nation failed to protect this sensitive information, leading to privacy violations and a spike in spam calls, texts, and emails. The complaint argues that the company didn’t implement adequate data protection measures and delayed notifying those impacted.

Now, the affected users are seeking $5 million in damages, holding Live Nation responsible for its negligence in safeguarding customer data.
