#MAGFAB:Vice President Kamala Harris for Vogue US - October 2024
If politics is a game best played in temperate weather, Kamala Harris’s arrival in Ripon, Wisconsin, on October 3 caught the luck of an unseasonably warm sun. It’s 71 degrees—by Wisconsin standards, summer—when Air Force Two touches down and Harris rides to Ripon College for a rally. As she nears, the twin downtown storefronts of the florist and the laptop-repair shop are playing Frank Sinatra ballads for passersby. Ripon, a flat, quiet city of fewer than 8,000 people, is a peculiar destination for the Democratic nominee for president: The Republican Party was founded here, in 1854. But for Harris, whose campaign seeks a stabilizing path against her opponent’s angry chaos, it’s a place, as fair as any, for the making of unlikely friends.
In an hour, Liz Cheney, the former Wyoming congressperson, former chair of the Republican Conference, and daughter of a vice president—a woman who has never voted for a Democrat for president—will endorse Harris onstage. Before heading out to join her, the vice president will meet me in the basement of the student union. Two chairs have been set up, angled toward each other, with flags between them. I’m shown to one, then the other. I am fussed over by aides, who readjust the draping of the flags. The process authority of American power, the way it calmly drives on like a swimmer down a clear lane, has rarely been so palpable to me; in the space of a few minutes I am greeted by more friendly and laconic people—coming in to check something, nodding, and vanishing again—than I can count. Photographers file in and take their positions, training their lenses on the chairs. I feel I’m entering bilateral talks on behalf of a small, wayward nation.
Then the vice president enters amid a rain-like patter of footfalls, and the energy in the room changes. “Hi! How are you? Good to see you again!” Harris says, grabbing my hand and folding down into the opposite seat.
She is dressed in an easygoing black suit with a plain white blouse, a few pearls on a double necklace, and black patent leather heels. Since becoming vice president, in 2021, Harris has sought reductions in gun violence, middle-class jobs in clean energy, drinking water for poor communities, and a strategy for Americans’ reproductive freedom. Before our meeting, I talked with more than 20 of her former colleagues and collaborators, who described Harris in these projects as a roll-up-the-sleeves leader. I ask what her first call would be on reaching the Oval Office.

#RHOA: Oh? #TWIRL Brit Eady Calls Kenya Moore’s Bravo Booting ‘Karma’, Says Season 16 Will Be ‘Lighthearted’ Despite Drama
A #RHOA newbie is opening up about the shocking fallout that led to an OG being booted from the Bravo show. “Karma is real,” said the insurance professional.
Brit Eady was a guest this week on the “Love and Fly S***” podcast, and the reality star discussed Kenya Moore’s actions toward her.
As previously reported Kenya announced in June that she wouldn’t be returning to The Real Housewives of Atlanta with some reports claiming she was “fired” and others alleging that she was “taking a break” from season 16 with an option to return.
The announcement came amid reports that Kenya violated production’s code of conduct by blowing up photos of Eady seemingly performing oral, sex, and after audio leaked of Moore alleging that the #RHOA newbie was an escort.
In the aftermath of Kenya’s shocking #RHOA departure, the star who was initially suspended for her actions, told TeamTwirl that she had a “clean conscience” and was looking forward to thriving in a “nontoxic environment.”
“The rumors and narrative about me randomly showing nudes or revenge p is 1000% untrue,” added the former Miss USA. “I have proof and will share soon.”
Now Brit Eady’s speaking out and she’s not holding back.
On Wednesday, Eady and her husband Mike Cunningham sat down with “Love and Fly S***” podcast hosts Jenna Nia and Donay for a discussion on their love story.
Things got especially interesting however when Jenna Nia brought up #RHOA and alleged that she witnessed Kenya and another housewife gossiping behind Brit’s back.
“I personally met Kenya and I swear to God, the first day we were all in the room that I met Kenya–I could hear her and another person talking about you,” said the host. “They were just teaming up on her.”
She then said that she attended and worked the red carpet at the Kenya Moore Hair Spa opening where the alleged revenge porn was displayed and was shocked to see what went down.
“I had just gotten on the carpet and told her, ‘Congratulations, I’m so happy for you, this is empowering women,'” siad Jenna Nia. “And then she turned around and did the complete opposite, she chose to make the event about you and it was just craziness.”
“Karma is real,” replied Brit.
“My girl Brit will forever go down in history as the one that got the girl off the show,” said Jenna Nia. “When her fans see what really happened and how it played out… it was diabolical.”
According to Brit, things got intense and fans will have to watch how things play out.
“You gotta remember, what you put out; someway, somehow, will come right back and tenfold. Karma is real, and well will see on season 16 how it all unravels. A lot of people are going to be shocked. It gets intense It’s tough discussing this, but outside of that situation, it’s still going to be a very light-hearted show. It’s going to be fun, and I think people will get a closer look at who I really am.”
Standing firm on her principles, she added.
“I am somebody where I stand firm on my own two feet, and I’m fine with standing alone if it means standing on what’s right. Real recognizes real, and I think everyone will be pleased with what they see.”
The #RHOA newbie also made sure to send some shade noting that Kenya might have been jealous of someone “half her age.”
Kenya Moore has yet to respond to Brit Eady’s karma claims.

#HipHopNews: Teyana Taylor Fires Back At Kayla Nicole’s “Disrespectful” Comments On "Unapologetically Angel"
Teyana Taylor has caught wind of Kayla Nicole’s comments on a Thursday (Oct. 10) episode Angel Reese’s "Unapologetically Angel" podcast. During her sit-down with the WNBA star, the sports journalist was asked about the “the craziest thing [she's] done in a relationship.”
“I was dating a guy and he dumped me through a text message, and he dumped me for this singer/actress who was famous at the time," Nicole responded. The Pepperdine University alumni later revealed that she dressed up as said celebrity for Halloween. It didn’t take long for social media to connect the dots, with old photos surfacing of her dressed as Taylor from Ye’s “Fade” music video.
Taking to Instagram on Saturday (Oct. 11) night, the “Gonna Love Me” artist penned a lengthy response. “F**k the Iman part. I’m divorced and happily so. However, her choice of words [was] very distasteful and uncalled for,” Taylor wrote. “She knew exactly what she was doing. That lady said, ‘She was famous at the time’ [and] also said, ‘[I don't care] who sees it.’ It was very distasteful and uncalled for. Most importantly, she knew people would dig, so automatically my name is attached to the nonsense.”
The Harlem songstress later accused Nicole of pulling the “Black card” when it came to Taylor Swift dating her ex, Travis Kelce. “[She] turned around and tried to bully the Black woman that was married to her situationship [that] she claimed ‘dumped her’ for me,” Taylor continued. “Dressing up like me for what?”
She concluded, “Crazy part about it all is, I actually showed love under her pic when she posted it, like I did the other 3,736,262,626 people that dressed up as me for Halloween. Whole time I [didn’t] even know she was being shady. Now I do. So, in that case, petty panties on. [I] had my lil’ fun, I said what I said, and now I’m done and headed back to set!”

Kanye West Accused Of Hiring Employee To Investigate Kardashians And Follow Wife
A former “director of intelligence” for Kanye West, now known as Ye, has filed a lawsuit against him. In the ‘suit filed on Thursday (Oct. 10), the unnamed plaintiff claims he was instructed to tail the Kardashian family for allegedly partaking in “sex trafficking.”
The accuser also alleged that West asked him to hire private investigators to follow his wife, Bianca Censori, while she visited family in Australia. Per Variety, the lawsuit states, “John Doe was also tasked by Ye with investigating the Kardashian family and their alleged connections to criminal enterprises, including claims of sex trafficking.”
Elsewhere in the document, the plaintiff mentions a time when West allegedly became furious at him for reporting an incident of child abuse at his Donda Academy. According to John Doe, West screamed at him, “You’re f**king dead to me!” and allegedly played a threatening “recording of scary voices.”
The plaintiff is suing for “retaliation and emotional distress,” which he claims has negatively impacted his mental health and ignited PTSD from his military service. The Doe has also claimed to have experienced panic attacks and anxiety and is looking to gain unpaid wages from his last few pay periods.
He was reportedly hired by Yeezy in December 2022 as a “deputy campaign director” and was then promoted to “director of intelligence.” A few of his responsibilities included “generating ideas” to keep Ye relevant in media. The Doe also reportedly handled various issues such as “recovering lost or stolen items.”
Kanye West has yet to address allegations against him.

Judge Mathis Says Reconciliation With His Wife Linda Is On The Horizon
Judge Greg Mathis’ persistence in winning his wife back is paying off. As we previously reported, the star of TV’s court show “Mathis Court With Judge Mathis,” whose first name is Gregory, got served in mid-August when Linda Mathis filed for dissolution of their nearly 40-year marriage.
But recently, the TV judge has opened up about their relationship and says he’s confident they’ll be back on track soon.
Judge Mathis recently shared to TMZ that the two have been doing well in recent weeks and dropped a reassuring line: “We will be reconciled shortly.”
Mathis didn’t shy away from saying he hadn’t been making Linda a priority. In fact, the judge said one big change he’s made is staying home with her, cutting out all the things that used to take him away from their marriage.
“It’ll take a few more months for me to stay home,” he said. “I haven’t left home since the time I got in trouble with her. I put off all my speaking engagements around the country, so, I’m home.
Greg and Linda, who were college sweethearts, got married in 1985, more than a decade before the premiere of “Judge Mathis,” which ran from September 1999 to May 2023. “Mathis Court With Judge Mathis” hit the air in earnest in September 2023.
Mathis, 61, is the longest-running Black male television host and second-longest-reigning arbitrator in courtroom TV history (behind Judith “Judge Judy” Sheindlin). In 2022, he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
The pair share four children Jade, 39, Camara, 36, Greg Jr., 35, and Amir, 34

‘A Different World’ Cast Extends HBCU Tour After Selling Out
The cast of A Different World is extending their HBCU college tour after receiving overwhelming support from students across the country. Originally planned as a 10-city tour, the event has been extended due to sold-out crowds and continued demand. The tour, featuring stars like Kadeem Hardison, Jasmine Guy, Darryl M. Bell, and Cree Summer, has already visited prominent historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) such as Spelman College and Howard University.
The Impact of A Different World
The cast members have expressed their delight with the reception they’ve received on tour. Darryl M. Bell, who portrayed Ron Johnson on the hit show, commented, “There are all these students today who are super fans of the show, and none of them were even alive when the show first aired.”
Bell attributed the show’s continued relevance to its depiction of issues that resonate with students today. “Whether it’s the stress of classes, how to pay for school, or student protests, these are all issues that still matter,” Bell added.
The tour’s initial success has sparked excitement for the next leg, which kicks off at Bowie State University on October 17. With additional stops planned throughout 2025, the tour is set to visit more HBCUs across the nation. Sponsored by Wells Fargo and Cisco, the event also aims to raise scholarship funds for students.
The cultural significance of A Different World has grown over the years, especially among Black college students. The show, which ran from 1987 to 1993, followed the lives of students at the fictional Hillman College, an HBCU. Many credit the show for inspiring them to attend real-life HBCUs. Bell noted, “Our show depicted the African American community in a way that people could say, ‘That’s me.’”
As the tour extends, cast members are excited to continue celebrating the legacy of A Different World and its impact on both past and present generations. “It’s really about the passion of what the show has meant to our fans,” Bell concluded.

Lizzo Breaks Down What She Eats in a Day Amid Major Lifestyle Change
Lizzo continued to get candid about her health journey, sharing an Instagram video of herself discussing her daily diet.
The 36-year-old detailed her daily meal plan “as a former vegan who added protein to her diet.”
The “Good as Hell” singer noted that after trying veganism, she adapted her diet to include animal-based proteins after discovering a new culture’s approach to eating.
“Someone suggested I try a Japanese diet because it’s one of the healthiest diets in the world, and it has some of my favorite foods,” Lizzo, whose real name is Melissa Jefferson, explained in an Oct. 10 Instagram video. “After tests and research, I found that animal proteins helped me have more energy, lose weight, and helped with my mental fog.”
And while her current diet includes animal proteins and products, Lizzo shared that she hopes to adjust that one day.
“I aspire to one day be a raw, alkaline vegan,” she explained. “Until then, this is the diet that’s helped me reach my goals and help me feel good in my body.”
Noting that veganism is a sensitive subject with many coming to the diet for variety of reasons, the Grammy winner added that she approaches health and nutrition for others without judgement.
“I’m not gonna judge you,” she said. “Do what’s best for you in your life at that moment. All that matters is that you’re happy. And if you’re happy, I’m happy.”
In the clip, Lizzo shows herself eating three full meals including a breakfast of lemon water, egg white cups, cauliflower hashbrowns, and fruit, a snack of okra water, a lunch of a buffalo chicken lettuce wrap with mustard and homemade peach tea, and a dinner of grilled chicken, asparagus, and carrots.
The singer’s latest update is one of many recent videos Lizzo has shared while on her health journey.
“Changing your body does not always change your problems or solve them,” Lizzo shared in an Oct. 2 TikTok. “But what I will say is everything gets better when you put a little bit of focus, a little bit of time, a little bit of intention and a lotta bit of love into it.”
She’s Her Own Inspiration
The singer has been documenting her weight loss journey on TikTok with videos of her workouts, including one that explained how she pushes through workouts.
"I was doing Stairmaster today, and I was doing a higher level than normal," the sweat-drenched star explained, noting that in order to avoid quitting early, she dropped down to a lower speed. "Sometimes when you want to give up, it's really just because you've been pushing yourself too hard. Don't give up, just take it easier on yourself."
Nobody’s Perfect
"I overate yesterday, and I'm feeling really bad about it," she shared while detailing the ups and downs of her journey. "I'm trying to remind myself that my body needs that nourishment and if my body deserves comfort then my brain deserves comfort too."
And no, despite what critics think, she isn't using Ozempic, the Type 1 Diabetes medication also used for weight loss.
"Y'all are making such a commotion for a b--ch that's still obese," she said. "Y'all are breaking your backs making blog posts about a b--ch that's still 200 pounds. Where is this kerfuffle coming from? Why are people so shocked? Do I really look that dramatically different or have you just not been paying attention?"
"If you have been keeping up, you've seen that I've been putting this work in, honey, every single day," she continued. "And not just work on my physical body, but you've been seeing the work I've been doing on my spiritual, my mental and emotional."
The Grammy winner stepped out for lunch at Nobu wearing a sheer black and white dress by Jean Paul Gaultier with a black bodysuit under. She topped the look with a leather trenchcoat draped on her shoulders, large silver hoop earrings and black sunglasses.
"I'm not going to lie and say I love my body every day," she told The New York Times in April 2024. "The bottom line is, the way you feel about your body changes every single day. There are some days I adore my body, and others when I don't feel completely positive."
Her fitness journey comes after she announced in August 2024 that she was taking "a gap year & protecting my peace."
After all, in 2023, she faced a lawsuit from several of her former backup dancers who accused her of creating a "hostile, abusive work environment" and weight-shaming them. She ultimately denied the accusations.
"With passion comes hard work and high standards," she wrote on Instagram. "Sometimes I have to make hard decisions but it's never my intention to make anyone feel uncomfortable or like they aren't valued as an important part of the team."
"I know what it feels like to be body shamed on a daily basis, she continued, "and would absolutely never criticize or terminate an employee because of their weight."

Questions continue to swirl around Rihanna and A$AP Rocky's relationship status. Are the couple secretly married, or are fans reading too much into clues dropped by the duo? Let's dive into the latest rumors and what the couple has shared about their life together.
The couple has often provided glimpses into their relationship and family dynamics, frequently expressing joy in their journey together, especially about parenthood. However, the speculation escalated recently due to a captivating interview Rihanna gave during a Savage X Fenty event in Los Angeles, where she might have accidentally dropped some hints.
During the interview, when the reporter praised Rihanna's motherhood, she responded with an interesting choice of words, "Motherhood, wifehood-ish - wife-ish-hood." This cryptic phrasing left fans buzzing, suspecting that the couple might have already exchanged vows in private.
Rihanna further elaborated on her family dynamics, saying, "Just being a home body, I love it. I love to be a home-maker. I have a lot of women in my home right now. And I just like to be exciting and celebrate things. I'm trying to build new traditions for our little family that we built."
Her excitement about both the present and future traditions has endeared her even more to fans who admire her commitment to creating a loving and celebratory environment.
When broached about family traditions, Rihanna enthusiastically stated, "Hello?! Spooky season... Next is Thanksgiving with my in-laws, 'cause that's not a thing in Barbados. And then Christmas is a very, very big thing for us. So we're going to do it up. All the thing you're going to do, girl. I ain't no different."
Her mention of "in-laws" and the affirming phrase "That's my family for life, regardless" only added fuel to the marriage speculation. Yet, Rihanna made it clear that their bond transcends legal titles or formalities.
ASAP Rocky echoed similar sentiments when he spoke to Billboard. He remarked on the harmony they find amidst their busy lives, celebrating their compatibility and understanding. "[The relationship] is going great. I don't think there's a more perfect person because when the schedules are hectic, she's very understanding of that. And when the schedule's freed up, that's when you get to spend [the] most time together. It's all understanding and compatibility."
Regardless of whether or not wedding bells have chimed for Rihanna and ASAP Rocky, what remains evident is the strength and joy of their partnership. Fans continue to support the couple, reveling in the snippets of their love and family life that they share so graciously.

Judge sets trial date in Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs racketeering and sex trafficking case
Musician and producer Sean “Diddy” Combs, who is charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking and transportation to engage in prostitution, will go to trial in May 2025.
The judge in Combs’ federal case set a trial date for May 5, 2025 at a court hearing in New York on Thursday.
Combs, who has pleaded not guilty, was present in the courtroom, as were several of his family members. Combs’ ankles were shackled, and he was wearing a jail-issued tan button down shirt and khaki pants. He smiled widely to his family as he was led into the courtroom by a U.S. Marshal, taking a moment to wave toward them sitting in the second row.
Prosecutor Emily Johnson said the prosecution anticipates its case could last three weeks but added that a superseding indictment could affect the length of trial, meaning additional charges or defendants could be added to the case.
Combs’ attorney Marc Agnifilo said they will put on a defense case that would likely take one week.
Judge Arun Subramanian also said he will issue an order barring both sides from making statements about secret grand jury material and other non-public evidence in the case. He asked Combs’ lawyers to draft a proposal.
The order comes after Combs’ attorneys on Wednesday filed a motion accusing the government of leaking a video of the hip-hop mogul beating his former girlfriend to CNN. They did not provide evidence for their claims.
Hours later, Damian Williams, the US Attorney for the Southern District of New York wrote to the judge that “the government was not in possession of the video before its publication by CNN,” so there is no “factual basis” for Combs’ attorneys’ assertion.
The 2016 hotel surveillance video published exclusively by CNN in May shows Combs dragging and kicking his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura.
Combs initially denied allegations of abusing Ventura, which were included in a November 2023 lawsuit she filed before the video was made public. Following the release of the video, Combs apologized.
Combs’ lawyers’ motion on Wednesday further asked the judge to consider barring the footage from trial.
Johnson on Thursday called the motion a “means to try to exclude a damning piece of evidence.” The judge said he would make a decision about a potential hearing regarding the alleged media leaks after reading the legal arguments.
Combs’ court appearance on Thursday was his third since his arrest and his first in front of Judge Subramanian, a Biden-nominated jurist who has been on the bench since last year. He was assigned the case last week after Judge Andrew Carter recused himself.
Combs’ lawyers have said they want to go to trial quickly since he was twice denied bail.
Combs is awaiting trial in federal custody at Brooklyn’s Metropolitan Detention Center.

Christian Siriano Blasts Housewives For Being Cheap
Fashion icon Christian Siriano has been stylist the hottest stars for years, including several of Bravo’s real housewives. The designer, though, just revealed why people shouldn’t expect to see housewives wearing his works as often anymore. Read on to find out what happened.
This situation all started when Christian was a guest on Watch What Happens Live. During his segment, Andy Cohen asked him about his experience working with housewives.
Shockingly, Siriano claimed that working with them is no longer his top priority because they allegedly don’t pay for their clothes.
At a later time, the designer further went in on the elite group of women, implying that they are cheap and looking for handouts. “A lot of people like free clothes, and not everyone needs free clothes,” he quipped.
For reference, his former Bravo clients include RHONY‘s Bethenny Frankel and RHOC star Heather Dubrow.
None of the housewives have responded to his accusatory comments just yet.
The Only Housewife Who Pays
Christian did elaborate that not every single housewife has stiffed him on the bill. In fact, there’s one reality TV star that he applauds for always paying for his services.
The only housewife who pays, according to Siriano, is none other than Bronwyn Newport. She is one of the new cast members of RHOSLC Season 5.
He even went as far as calling Newport his number one customer, thanking her for consistently paying for his work over the years.
The designer created Bronwyn’s first confessional look for the premiere of the fifth season. And based on his statements, fans can probably expect her to be showing off more of his looks in the future.
It’s clear that Newport takes fashion very seriously, as she’s gained a large online presence for being a fashion influencer and flaunting her style on IG.
Season 5 of RHOSLC is only a few episodes in, so it’s going to take some time for viewers to gain an honest opinion of Bronwyn.
Especially since she’s one of three new housewives making their debut this season. That being said, this Siriano shout-out might have given her fast-track approval among fans.
In a Reddit thread, RHOSLC viewers gave their support to the newbie for doing the right thing by paying for Christian’s clothes. Here are a few of the comments:
“Good for you, Bronwyn. Great way to make an entrance: with REAL money and wealth.”
“Another reason to love Bronwyn! She’s so great thus far.”
“Credit where credit is due.”

Bath & Body Works Apologizes for ‘Ku Klux Klan’-Like Packaging Design
Bath & Body Works, the smell-good retailer, known for its potent fall and Christmas candles, had to pull its “Snowed In” candle this week because of it’s packaging design.
The candle was supposed to be wrapped in a festive red covering with a picture of a snowflake, but it didn’t look like the angelic, crystalline white flakes that are normally associated with winter-inspired packaging. Instead, to some, the snowflakes looked like KKK hoods.
Users on X began criticizing the candle’s design Tuesday, dubbing the design a “klandle.” The company pulled the candle from its website and apologized in a statement to TMZ.
Critics said the pattern looked similar to the white hoods worn by members of the KKK, an American white supremacist terrorist group that emerged after the Civil War and when egal slavery had ended. The KKK is the oldest hate group in America, according to the Southern Poverty Law Center, and was created to enforce violence and terror against newly freed people.
Critics called for the product to be pulled from shelves and for those behind the packaging to be fired.
“This sort of thing can easily be prevented by hiring the so-called ‘DEI’ candidate,” one X user wrote.
“@bathbodyworks Your lack of diversity in the workplace shows exactly why the candle got approval. No one black, Hispanic works there? Smh,” one X, formerly Twitter, user wrote.
“How would you not know that the image and the design does not reflect that amongst the worst of hatred ‘Klu Klux Klan?’ Accountability,” another user tweeted.
“@bathbodyworks did an awful marketing strategy. It doesn’t look like a snowflake. Someone has some explaining to do. I don’t buy klandles, another user shared.
The candle is no longer available for purchase on Bath & Body Works’ website.
Amid backlash over the candle, Bath & Body Works issued an apology, saying they are in the process of removing the item from stores.
“We are committed to listening to our teams and customers and committed to fixing any mistakes we make—even those that are unintentional like this one. We apologize to anyone we’ve offended and are swiftly working to have this item removed and [are] evaluating our process [going] forward,” Bath & Body Works said in a statement, per TMZ.

Curry Brand Launches the Curry 12 Globally in ‘Gravity’ Colorway
The highly anticipated Curry 12, Stephen Curry’s latest signature shoe, is set to make its global debut on Friday, October 18, in the ‘Gravity’ colorway. Designed to reflect Curry’s gravitational pull on the court, the Curry 12 features a sleek light gray upper with green and black accents that emulate particles floating through the universe. Curry shared insights about the design process that led to the Curry 12, saying, “We were in Portland four years ago, and they brought in every shoe that was ever made. They brought in a bunch of inspirational pictures, and I just put it all on the table, just show me what you like… From there, [the designer] kind of understood what my design language is and how he could take their inspiration and say, ‘Okay, this is what works.’”

The first of many outer space-inspired colorways, the ‘Gravity’ is designed to enhance precision, movement, and comfort for today’s elite basketball players. The shoe boasts a breathable engineered mesh upper, an external 3D-molded TPU heel counter for enhanced fit, and a die-cut foam sockliner for added comfort. Additionally, the combination of UA Flow cushioning and a segmented Pebax plate in the forefoot ensures players can cut, stop, and start with precision.
Stephen’s signature shoes have continued to evolve, with each new version building on the success of the previous models. The Curry 12 ‘Gravity’ made its on-court debut this summer, propelling Curry to yet another incredible basketball achievement. The shoe’s release follows the success of the ‘Red, White and Blue’ and ‘Curry Tour’ colorways, which have been celebrated by fans and athletes alike.
Curry Brand’s global launch of the Curry 12 marks the beginning of a journey exploring the mysteries of the galaxy, with each upcoming colorway paying homage to different aspects of Stephen’s game. Later this fall, expect releases such as the ‘Wardell Mode’ on November 8 and ‘Shooting Star’ on November 22, each offering a unique blend of design and performance.
The Curry 12 ‘Gravity’ will be available at Under Armour Brand Houses globally, UA.com, and select retailers like Dick’s Sporting Goods. As Stephen Curry’s star continues to rise, his latest signature shoe promises to inspire hoopers worldwide and push the boundaries of performance and style.
Doritos Is Opening Its First Restaurant in the Most Unexpected Location
Doritos, the late-night snack of legend, has had quite an eventful year in the marketing department. In December 2023, fans got more than they bargained for with the release of Doritos-flavored liquor in partnership with Empirical Spirits. In August 2024, the limited-edition Cool Ranch Zero Gravity chips sent Doritos on SpaceX’s Polaris Dawn mission to be enjoyed by astronauts in high Earth orbit. Now, there’s a Doritos activation in the works designed to reach a broader, more (literally) down-to-earth audience. Doritos After Dark will be the brand’s first-ever restaurant, and it opens this month with a menu aimed to satisfy serious snackers.
Located in the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles — home to the Kings, Lakers, and Sparks basketball teams — Doritos After Dark will be open during all regularly scheduled games this season. Any ticketholders to those events can visit the restaurant, a sleek sit-down space offering appetizers, entrees, desserts, and even cocktails infused with the flavors of nacho cheese and crispy corn tortilla chips.
Here Are the Most Popular Snacks in America, Per State
Doritos After Dark, according to the announcement, aims to provide an experience that “elevates every dish on the menu with the undeniably bold flavor and crunch of Doritos, inviting fans to feed their late-night curiosity.”
Here’s a quick overview of some of the menu items you can expect:
Doritos Flamin’ Hot LimΓ³n Late Night Rita: This mouthful of a cocktail is a classic tequila margarita with crushed Doritos Flamin’ Hot LimΓ³n chips on the rim.
Doritos Spicy Sweet Chili Ramen-Rito: This ramen/burrito mashup features grilled chicken, ramen noodles, crushed Spicy Sweet Chili Doritos, charred corn, fresh scallions and cilantro. It’s served with Doritos Flamin’ Hot aioli and extra crushed-up chips on the side.
Doritos Flamin’ Hot Nacho Veggie Dumplings: These pan-fried vegetable dumplings are dressed in Flamin’ Hot Nacho Doritos-studded chili crisp. Described as “unapologetically hot,” the dish is topped with green onions and cilantro.
Doritos Nacho Cheese Texas-Style Loaded Nachos: A platter of classic nachos that features brisket, barbecue sauce, nacho cheese, pickle slices, and sweet onions. Of course, the chips themselves are Doritos, for extra flavor.
Doritos Nacho Cheese Crunchtastic Vanilla Cone: For dessert, Doritos has created a treat sort of like a Drumstick, featuring a scoop of vanilla ice cream in a waffle cone that’s been dipped in chocolate and rolled in crunchy, savory Doritos Nacho Cheese crumbles.
If you can’t score tickets to an NBA/WNBA game, or you simply aren’t into basketball, there’s still a chance to get in on this Doritos-stuffed menu. On November 15, for one night only, a so-called Doritos Night Market will pop up at Peacock Place, 800 Olympic Boulevard in Los Angeles, from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. Not only will this event feature an “immersive, neon wonderland,” according to the press release, but also an array of Doritos After Dark menu items, all of which will be free to the public.
