#RHOA: Porsha Williams Considering a Return Amid Reported RHOA Cast Shake-Up
Porsha Williams may be making her Real Housewives of Atlanta return next season if Bravo cuts her a big fat check.
“Bravo has been trying to get Porsha to come back to The Real Housewives of Atlanta for the possible cast shakeup, but she’s playing hardball,” a source told Entertainment Tonight. “Bravo offered Porsha a lot of money to return, but she declined.”
The Bravo vet exited the series after Season 13, where she fought incessantly with Kenya Moore and Marlo Hampton over rumors about sleeping with a stripper during a cast trip. Since her departure, the show has clearly gone down the drain. With only Kandi Burruss and Kenya left, it’s clear they can’t run a show by themselves. However, if Bravo wants P Willy to return, the offer has to be just right.
Will Porsha make her big return?
“Porsha is telling friends she wants to be the highest-paid Housewife on any franchise. Porsha could return, but as of now, she and Bravo have not come to an agreement,” the source added.
During another interview with ET this year, Porsha said she loves that the fans and network want her back on the show. Although a deal hasn’t been reached yet, you never know what could happen.
“I’ve never written it off; I’ve never talked down on the show. I love what the girls are doing. I love that the brand is still as strong as it was before,” she added, “and you just never know … never say ‘never.'
Nobody from Bravo or Porsha’s team has confirmed or denied her intent to return to the Real Housewives of Atlanta. However, with the current direction of the show, we wouldn’t be surprised if Bravo does meet her demands to secure her peach for Season 16
The Real Housewives of Atlanta two-part reunion begins September 3, 2023, at 8/7c on Bravo.

Earlier this month, the musician teased the song on an Instagram Live session. “The irony is that my favorite part of the entire song is the very end… Like the last 30 seconds. Can’t wait for you all to hear it,” Minaj noted on Twitter.
For those who’ve followed the rapper’s illustrious career, the upcoming debut of Pink Friday 2 will signify her first album release since 2018’s Queen. The latter boasted hits like “Chun-Li,” “Good Form,” and “Barbie Dreams.” It peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 chart.
In July, the “Do We Have A Problem?” artist cryptically tweeted, “Yesterday, I worked on my current TOP 2 songs off [Pink Friday 2]. The eargasms you’re all about to have. Ooh, child, get ready!”
“Last Time I Saw You” finds Minaj exploring a softer, more contemplative side, a contrast to her typically fiery verses and audacious stage presence.

Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who worked to free Americans detained abroad, dies at 75
Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson, who also served in Congress, as ambassador to the U.N. and as energy secretary in the Clinton administration, has died, according to the Richardson Center for Global Engagement, the organization he founded to promote international peace and dialogue. He was 75.
Richardson died at his summer home in Chatham, Massachusetts, the organization said.
"Governor Richardson passed away peacefully in his sleep last night. He lived his entire life in the service of others – including both his time in government and his subsequent career helping to free people held hostage or wrongfully detained abroad," Mickey Bergman, vice president of the Richardson Center, said in a statement Saturday.
"The world has lost a champion for those held unjustly abroad and I have lost a mentor and a dear friend," the statement added.
Richardson was first elected to New Mexico's newly formed Third Congressional District in 1982. Richardson served in the U.S. House until 1997 when he was appointed by President Bill Clinton as U.S. ambassador to the United Nations. He later served as Secretary of Energy from 1998 to 2000.
He was elected governor of New Mexico in 2002. His accomplishments as governor, according to the Richardson Center, included improving the state's job numbers and boosting economic development by bringing the movie industry to New Mexico, which resulted in more than 140 major film and TV productions. He also built a light-rail system from Albuquerque to Santa Fe, and partnered with Virgin Galactic to build a commercial spaceport.
In 2008, he sought the Democratic nomination for president, dropping out after Iowa and New Hampshire.
After serving two terms as governor, Richardson turned his attention to global conflict resolution and the release of political prisoners, particularly Americans wrongfully detained abroad. The Richardson Center, founded in 2011, is credited with successfully negotiating the release of hostages and people imprisoned in several countries including North Korea, Colombia, Sudan, Cuba and Myanmar.
Richardson was involved with recent efforts to bring home WNBA star Brittney Griner and U.S. Marine Trevor Reed.
Richardson also co-founded the Foundation to Preserve New Mexico Wildlife with actor Robert Redford.
President Joe Biden remembered Richardson as a "patriot and true original" who "seized every chance to serve and met every new challenge with joy."
"Few have served our nation in as many capacities or with as much relentlessness, creativity, and good cheer," Biden said in a written statement on Saturday, noting Richardson's roles as an ambassador, a Cabinet secretary, a governor and a congressman.
"But perhaps his most lasting legacy will be the work Bill did to free Americans held in some of the most dangerous places on Earth," Biden added.
The president noted the two first crossed paths when Richardson was a staffer on the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, which Biden served on as senator.
"Over the years, I saw firsthand his passion for politics, love for America, and unflagging belief that, with respect and good faith, people can come together across any difference, no matter how vast," Biden said.
Secretary of State Antony Blinken said Richardson was "driven by a fierce belief in the power of diplomacy."
"He demonstrated the value of engagement and charted an inspiring path for future generations of public servants to follow," Blinken said in a statement.
"I'm sad to hear of former NM Gov Bill Richardson's passing," Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, who previously served as a U.S. representative from New Mexico, said in a statement Saturday. "He was a champion for Tribes, elevating Indian Affairs to a cabinet level. He helped me ensure Native students received in-state tuition. He was a true friend and one of our country's valued diplomats."
Former Vice President Al Gore, who served alongside Richardson in the Clinton administration, said in a statement, "He was an exceptional public servant, a relentless advocate for those unjustly held overseas and a true friend. I send my deepest condolences to the Richardson family during this difficult time."
Richardson was born in Pasadena, California, and grew up in Mexico City and in Concord, Massachusetts. His parents were of Mexican descent. He earned a bachelor's degree in political science and French from Tufts in 1970 and a master's degree from Tuft's Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy in 1971.
Richardson is survived by his wife, Barbara, and a daughter.
#RIP Jimmy Buffett, Margaritaville Singer and Entrepreneur, Dead at 76
Jimmy Buffett, king of “island escapism,” has died at the age of 76. His social media account confirmed the news early Saturday morning that he “passed away peacefully the night of September 1st surrounded by his family, friends, music and dogs.” Alongside his Coral Reefer band, the “Margaritaville” singer described his music style as “drunken Caribbean rock ’n’ roll,” full of themes of relaxation and enjoying life without regrets. Hits like “Cheeseburger in Paradise,” “Come Monday,” and “Volcano” reflected his manifesto of taking life easy. In fact, all three songs are a part of “The Big 8,” a.k.a. songs that are almost always sung at Buffett’s concerts in the 80s.
As Buffett’s popularity grew, so did the list of hits demanded by Parrot Heads (fans of Buffett). Songs like “Son of a Son of a Sailor,” “It’s Five O’Clock Somewhere,” and “One Particular Harbour” were added to the unofficial permanent setlist. Buffett knew that people wanted to hear the hits and he delivered — but not without acknowledging how passionate his fans were. He told a radio station in Texas that he had to “play the ten that everyone wants, or else we’ll get killed.”
Buffett wasn’t only inspired by a tropical paradise in his music; in 1987, he opened the Margaritaville Cafe in Key West, Florida. He eventually grew to own 23 restaurants and 33 resort and hotel locations, with more under construction and development. Jimmy Buffett’s Margaritaville was the subject of YouTubers Eddy Burback and Ted Nivison themed restaurant quest, where they took a road trip to eat at every single Margaritaville restaurant in North America.
Outside of music and being a restaurateur, Buffett made several cameos in film and television, with his most beloved being in the 2015 film Jurassic World. As dinosaurs began attacking the theme park guests of Isla Nublar, one guest (Buffett) began running, but not without carrying two margaritas in hand.
His family’s farewell message embodied the impact of Buffett: “He lived his life like a song till the very last breathe and will be missed beyond measure by so many,”
‘Rustin’ Trailer: Colman Domingo Portrays Civil Rights Leader Bayard Rustin, Architect of the March on Washington
On the 60th anniversary of the March on Washington, Netflix released the trailer for “Rustin,” which explains how civil rights leader Bayard Rustin defied the odds to plan the historic event.
“On Aug. 28, Black, white, young, old, rich, working-class, poor will descend on Washington D.C.,” Rustin, portrayed by Emmy winner Colman Domingo, says early in the clip, which chronicles the lead-up to the monumental march.
As Rustin prophesied, on Aug. 28, 1963, more than 250,000 people gathered near the Lincoln Memorial and millions more watched on live television while Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. delivered his “I Have a Dream” speech. The march is remembered as one of the greatest peaceful protests in history, but Rustin’s story has gone largely untold.
Directed by three-time Tony Award-winner George C. Wolfe from a screenplay by Julian Breece and Dustin Lance Black, with a story by Breece, the Netflix film salutes Rustin as “one of the greatest activists and organizers the world has ever known.”
The official synopsis explains: “He challenged authority, never apologized for who he was, what he believed or who he desired. And he did not back down. He made history, and in turn, he was forgotten. ‘Rustin’ shines a long overdue spotlight on the extraordinary man who, alongside giants like the Reverend Martin Luther King Jr., Adam Clayton Powell Jr. and Ella Baker, dared to imagine a different world, and inspired a movement in a march toward freedom.”
The jazzy trailer underlines the challenge that lay before Rustin — organizing the massive demonstration in just eight weeks — while also highlighting his reality as a Black gay man in 1963 America, where he faced a unique brand of discrimination, including from within the ranks of his fellow activists.
“To hell with Bayard Rustin. His attention-grabbing antics make him an easy target, and let’s not mention the unmentionable,” NAACP Executive Director Roy Wilkins (Chris Rock) jabs early in the clip, alluding to Rustin’s sexuality. Later, Rep. Adam Clayton Powell (Jeffrey Wright) tells Rustin, “Your mere presence would derail the fight for racial justice in this country for a good 10-15 years.”
Rustin fires back: “On the day I was born Black, I was also born a homosexual.
The footage also gives a first look at the film’s all-star cast — including Rock, Glynn Turman, Aml Ameen, Gus Halper, CCH Pounder, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, Johnny Ramey, Michael Potts, Wright and Audra McDonald — as they portray the legendary civil rights leaders who participated in this watershed moment in the fight for racial equality.
The clip ends with footage of Rustin’s vision come to life. “We are committed to the cause of altering the trajectory of this country toward freedom. They either believe in freedom and justice for all,” he says as the camera pans over the quarter million people gathered on the Washington Mall. “Or they do not.

Mark R. Wright, Alex G. Scott, David Permut, Daniel Sladek and Chris Taaffe also serve as executive producers. Last week, Variety exclusively revealed that Lenny Kravitz wrote and recorded a new song, titled ‘Road to Freedom,’ for the film.
The film will debut as an official selection at the Toronto International Film Festival, before opening in select theaters on Nov. 3. “Rustin” begins streaming on Netflix on Nov. 17.

Lyrica Anderson Appears To Defend Erica Mena For Calling Spice 'Blue Monkey' During Altercation
Lyrica Anderson has weighed in on the drama between Erica Mena and Spice. When offering her two cents, the "Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood" star appeared to defend Erica for calling the latter "blue monkey."
Taking to Instagram Story, the singer shared a video of her walking in the parking lot while saying to the camera, "It's like rules to arguing now." She added, Are you really thinking about how to argue with somebody when you're mad mad?"
Erica and Spice got into a heated argument while they were at a restaurant with Shekinah in a recent episode of "Love & Hip-Hop: Atlanta". At the table, Spice confronted Erica about being upset at her ex-husband Safaree Samuels, who cried for Spice when she was in the hospital instead of his divorce from Erica.
"Why did you feel the need to compare us," Spice asked. In response, Erica said, "I was his wife and he felt nothing." Spice then hit back, "That don't have nothing to do with me... Your problem Erica is you feel like you're the first woman to be divorced... you're the first woman that's left with two children to fend for. I've been doing it for 14 years welcome to the club."
Erica then noted that she has been a single parent for 16 years, but Spice upped the ante by saying, "With your son that don't like you. My son loves me." Erica was furious to hear Spice's words, prompting her to get up and flip the table.
While Lyrica sided with Erica following the altercation, producer Van Lathan begged to differ. "Erica Mena called Spice a 'monkey,' ... That is an anti-Black slur, meant to dehumanize Black women, Black people. Until further notice, Erica Mena is a vile, racist woman," he argued.
Cardi B And Megan Thee Stallion's Copyright Lawsuit Over 'WAP' And 'Thot S**T' Tossed By Judge
Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion have scored a major legal victory. The two female rappers were previously hit with a copyright lawsuit for allegedly stealing the lyrics for "WAP" and "Thot S**t", but a judge dismissed the case on August 29.
Filing the lawsuit last year was Denise Jones, a rapper who performs under the name Necey X. Denise claimed the two rap stars chose to "copy and paste" her "Grab Em by the P***y" lyrics into their songs.
U.S. District Judge Andrew L. Carter, however, ruled that Cardi and Megan's own words were not "substantially similar" to those in Denise' song. "The lyrics over which plaintiff asserts copyright protection are no more than common phrases, employed frequently in popular culture and other Hip-Hop songs," said the judge.
"The concept of using 'p***y so wet' as a rhetorical device in a song is neither original nor unique to plaintiff," the judge added. "Likewise, defendants have provided examples of at least three songs pre-dating ['Grab Em'] which use some variation of the phrase 'n***s wild'n.' "
"Defendants' lyric, 'why you in the club with n***as wild'n,' poses a question to the rapper (or to the audience), while plaintiff's lyric refers to the rapper's effect on a single individual," the judge further elaborated. "Thus, the phrase is used in different ways and has different meanings such that an ordinary listener would not identify defendants' lyric as being appropriated from plaintiff's song."
Denise also accused Cardi and Megan of stalking and harassing them, but the judge shut down the allegations as well. "Plaintiff makes generalized allegations about fearing for her safety from alleged stalking and harassment by the 'cartel' that she equates to the music industry at large," the judge wrote. "but plaintiff neither identifies any negligent conduct on the part of defendants or any special duty to avoid causing emotional distress."
Sheryl Lee Ralph Rebrands Nonprofit “The Diva Foundation”
It was originally founded in 1990 to raise awareness and help prevent the spread of HIV and AIDS.
Sheryl Lee Ralph’s nonprofit organization, The Diva Foundation, has been advocating for the awareness and prevention of HIV and AIDS for decades. The 66-year-old actress recently rebranded the program and is expanding its efforts as new issues have arisen around the country.
The Diva Foundation, originally founded in 1990, will now also focus on five “pillars,” namely Health Awareness, Women and Girls, LGBTQ+, Social Justice & Racial Equity, and Food & Housing Insecurity. “I have always believed that the core of effective artistic activism is trusted messengers,” Ralph said in a statement. “Trusted messengers make a world of difference because they make people feel seen and heard. They are transparent vessels that bring their lives and full experiences to the table to help others.”
She also spoke about the work that The Diva Foundation has already done and some of the help she has received to assist its new endeavors. “The Diva Foundation works hard to ensure that the people who serve are represented by messengers they can trust. I’ve been blessed to have the support of many volunteers, fellow celebrities and influencers, and corporate partners to make this vision a reality,” she said.
Norman Lee, a tech executive and longtime volunteer, will be working with Ralph on the organization’s rebrand. “I have been so blessed to have been a part of this work for the last 18 years,” Lee said.
This is especially personal for him, as he lost two of his aunts to AIDS. “When I began volunteering with The Diva Foundation, it started with DIVAS Simply Singing! and me dedicating my time and work in memory of two of my beloved aunts who died from AIDS complications,” Lee added. “Over the years, getting to do work in South Africa with our Sisters Circle program or launching new virtual programming like DIVAS Health Awareness Week and hearing the feedback from persons impacted by our service to the community motivates me to want to keep going to reach even more people.”
This follows the actress delivering the commencement speech at Rutgers University this past May. She reflected on the COVID-19 pandemic and how it affected the students. “I could have just imagined what it was like when you first came here to the campus as freshmen,” she said to the graduates while donning her own cap and gown. “Our country and the world took a tragic and difficult turn. Kobe died, George Floyd was killed, and then the world and everything changed when COVID-19…shut down the world. But, you stayed the course, you never gave up, you kept doing. We need people who have been through something and still have so much to give and share—that’s you.” Check out the full speech HERE https://youtu.be/TwHSWubKnQM
Deion Sanders addresses critics after Colorado defeats TCU: "I’m 'bout to get comfortable"
Deion Sanders is turning naysayers into believers one win at a time following the University of Colorado Boulder’s victory over Texas Christian University in his NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision debut.
The former NFL standout has faced months of critics doubting his coaching abilities and roster of new recruits after making the jump from the Southwestern Athletic Conference, where he led Jackson State University to back-to-back titles as head coach.
On Saturday (Sept. 2), he shut down chatter about his team being an underdog that did not stand a chance at winning against TCU when the scoreboard read 45-42. The Fort Worth school was ranked No. 3 when it lost to the University of Georgia during the College Football Playoff title game in January. Colorado was ranked among the worst teams, but it came out of the gate this season playing prime-time football. And the only people who are surprised are the doubters.
“We’re gonna continuously be questioned because we’re going to continue to do things that have never been done. That’s the way our life has presented itself,” said Sanders in a post-game press conference. “We do things that have never been done, and that makes people uncomfortable.”
The two-time Super Bowl winner added, “When you see a confident Black man sitting up here talking his talk, walking his walk, coaching 75 percent African Americans in the locker room, that’s kind of threatening. Oh, they don’t like that. But guess what? We gone consistently do what we do because I’m here and ain’t going nowhere, and I’m ’bout to get comfortable in a minute.”
Saturday’s game also proved especially monumental for Deion’s son, Shedeur Sanders, who broke the university’s passing record. “For real? Shedeur Sanders? From an HBCU? The one that played at Jackson last year? The one you asked me why would I give him the starting job?” mockingly asked Deion to onlooking reporters. Shedeur transferred from JSU when his dad accepted the head coaching gig for the Buffaloes. In his debut as the star quarterback, he carried out a 510-yard passing performance, shattering the 474-yard record set in 2011 by Tyler Hansen.
BeyoncΓ©'s chromed-out 'Renaissance' tour opens in LA with Offset, Lil Wayne, and more
BeyoncΓ© has already proven she has the power to make the world stop — remember the unexpected release of her self-titled album in 2014? — but after night one of the “Renaissance World Tour” stops in Los Angeles, there is no downplaying her influence.
The singer’s live spectacle was a star-studded fest from its opener to those in the audience on Friday (Sept. 1). For the first time since the tour launched in May, BeyoncΓ© enlisted the help of artists such as DJ Khaled to liven up the already amped-up crowd before she hit the stage at 9 p.m. The producer brought out the likes of Lil Wayne, Roddy Ricch, Wiz Khalifa, 2 Chainz, who performed hits “Watch Out” and “I’m Different,” and Offset, who performed Migos’ 2016 hit “Bad and Boujee.”
Among the sea of thousands of fans and BeyHive members were countless celebrities standing in awe of the Recording Academy’s most nominated female artist. Issa Rae, Tyler Perry, Gabrielle Union, Tracee Ellis Ross, Meghan Markle, Prince Harry, Keke Palmer, and more were spotted decked out in chrome and silver disco ball-inspired looks for the two-and-a-half-hour performance.
“Wow. BeyoncΓ© is incredible, but seeing her live is next level. It’s brilliant and inspiring to see someone have so much fun and display such skill and excellence onstage. What a time! Bless you, Bey! And THANK YOU!” exclaimed Palmer in a tweet after watching the dazzling show.
The sold-out show was the first of three slated for this weekend at SoFi Stadium in Inglewood. Her final show before moving on to Vancouver will take place on Monday (Sept. 4), also known as Bey Day, when she celebrates her 42nd birthday. According to Billboard, the multi-city trek has been on track to cross over the half-a-billion-dollar mark since early August. The celebration of her seventh studio album, RENAISSANCE, signifies her first tour since 2016’s “Formation World Tour.”
As noted by the flood of fan praise online, the 100-plus stage costumes seen throughout this tour, the use of robotics, jaw-dropping stage visuals, and pop-up appearances from Blue Ivy, BeyoncΓ© has cemented herself among music’s GOATs.

Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are preparing for a divorce, according to a new report.

The sources went on to say that the couple has had “serious problems” for at least six months.
“We’re told over the last three months, Joe has been caring for their two young children ‘pretty much all of the time,’ even as his band was touring. We’re told Joe currently has both kids, as the group plays around the U.S.,” TMZ reports.
Joe and Sophie have attended events together, but in recent weeks, Joe has been seen not wearing his ring.
They also recently sold their Miami mansion after buying it one year ago.
The two were first linked in 2016, and got engaged a year later. In 2019, they were married in Las Vegas, and welcomed their first kid Willa in 2020, and another in 2022.
Joe Jonas Reportedly Preparing to File for Divorce from Sophie Turner After 4 Years of Marriage
Joe Jonas and Sophie Turner are preparing for a divorce, according to a new report.
Sources with direct knowledge tell TMZ that the 34-year-old Jonas Brothers star had his people consult with at least two L.A.-area divorce lawyers, and he’s preparing to file documents to end his marriage to the 27-year-old Game of Thrones actress.

Donald Trump’s GA Trial Will Be Livestreamed
Fulton County Judge Scott McAfee ruled Thursday that all court proceedings related to former President Donald Trump’s election interference case will be streamed live for the public, CNBC News reported. He also ruled that members of the press would be allowed to use their computers and cell phones inside the courtroom, provided that the devices are not used to record the trial.
Fulton County State Court’s typically broadcast judicial proceedings on its YouTube channel, with Trump’s proceedings not being any different. The livestreaming will give the public unprecedented access to what will be one of the most high-profile trials in American history.
Earlier this month, congressional Democrats called for Trump’s federal criminal trials to be televised.
“If the public is to fully accept the outcome, it will be vitally important for it to witness, as directly as possible, how the trials are conducted, the strength of the evidence adduced, and the credibility of witnesses,” California rep Adam Schiff and 37 members of his caucus wrote in a letter addressed to Judge Roslynn Mauskopf, who heads the administrative offices of U.S. Courts.
Trump, the current Republican presidential front-runner, faces 13 felony counts, including racketeering, soliciting false statements, and criminal conspiracy. He pleaded not guilty Thursday and will be arraigned on Sept. 6.
Trump has been iffy on whether he wants cameras at his upcoming trial in Georgia. In a separate case against him in New York City–where he is accused of filing false business records–Trump’s lawyers opposed a request from media outlets in the court.
But another of Trump’s lawyers, John Lauro, said earlier this month that cameras in court would be fine.
“I personally would love to see that,” Lauro told the media adding, “I’m convinced the Biden administration does not want the American people to see” Trump on trial.
