#FASHIONFILES: Louis Vuitton FW 2023 Menswear with Colm Dillane
KidSuper founder Colm Dillane, Brooklyn’s homegrown superhero, returned to Paris Fashion Week, as the luxury fashion equivalent of an ‘artist as residence’ in the creation of the Louis Vuitton Autumn/Winter 2023 menswear collection.

Mr. Dillane, 31, is considered to be a great storyteller. In 2021, the prestigious LVMH Prize awarded him the runner-up Karl Lagerfeld prize with two other designers.
The evolution of the design studio organization at Louis Vuitton Mens is now in the hands of former race car driver — and accomplished LVMH executive — Pietro Beccari.
Now that the FW 2023 Louis Vuitton show is over, speculation is running rampant about prospects for a permanent appointment for Colm Dillane.

As astute minds who know the LVMH group well have stated, this may continue as a slow process. Given the kind of financial success Louis Vuitton is enjoying, there is nothing to fix at the moment.

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Receives Birthday Flowers from Daughter and Estranged Husband on Her Big 52nd Birthday!
Kenya Moore received a sweet gift on her 52nd birthday. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star shared a photo of a pink orchid that she received from her estranged husband Marc Daly and their 4-year-old daughter Brooklyn on Tuesday.
"Thank you for my flowers Brooklyn and Marc," she shared on her Instagram Story.

In addition to the floral arrangement, Moore also received a social media shoutout from Real Housewives of Dubai's Lesa Milan, who shared, "Happy Birthday Gorgeous" on her Instagram Story.
The thoughtful gesture from Daly and Brooklyn comes after Moore revealed earlier this month that she hopes the pair's divorce will be finalized "soon" on Watch What Happens Live.

"The world's longest divorce," Moore told host Andy Cohen about the nearly two years that had passed since her split from Daly in May 2021.
Moore later revealed the holdup in finalizing her divorce from Daly. The Special Forces: World's Toughest Test star admitted they didn't sign a prenuptial agreement before tying the knot.

When asked why the divorce was yet finalized, Moore told TMZ: "No prenup, so yeah, unfortunately."
However, the reality star reiterated that she felt "confident that it will get resolved soon."

Earlier this month, the Bravo star also opened up about having their marriage troubles exposed on RHOA during an appearance on Tamron Hall.

"It was a struggle just to work through our differences even during the show," she admitted. "A lot of it was exposed, just how we weren't getting along or weren't on the same page."

"As I said before, I felt like my voice was stifled a lot because I felt like I had to be a certain kind of wife to get along with him and his personality," she added. "That's not what a marriage is about."
Moore and Daly first wed in June 2017. They split for the first time in September 2019. Though they seemed to briefly rekindle their romance in February 2020, Daly confirmed in January 2021 that the couple had split once again.

That May, Moore filed for divorce, with court documents stating that she had been living in a "bonafide state of separation" since September 2019 and that their marriage was "irretrievably broken."

#HipHopNews: XXXTentacion's Estate Drops Lil Uzi Vert Collaboration On 25th Birthday
XXXTentacion would have been 25 today. In honor of the late rapper’s birthday, his estate has released a posthumous collaboration with Lil Uzi Vert called “I’m Not Human.” The acoustic ballad appeared on X’s YouTube on Monday as a gift to fans.

“A gift from Jah…Thank you #liluzi 1.23.23,” read a message on his official Instagram.

The emotional song struck a chord with fans. “I’m glad they ended up making this song. I could listen to it forever,” wrote one, while another said, “You can literally see the effort Uzi put in it which reflects the respect he has for Jah.”
Uzi has previously shown love to X. While on stage at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash Festival in Chicago last summer, the rapper paused his set to honor X. “That was like my only competition,” he said.

When previously asked about a posthumous collaboration, Uzi admitted that he was hesitant about the idea.

“I would love to do a song with him, but I’m really weird on stuff like that,” he said during Adin Ross’ Twitch show. “I’m really weird because I understand that they’re not here living, and what if that’s not the vision that they really want?”
It’s been over four years since XXXTentacion’s tragic death in June 2018, but his legacy lives on.

“Happy birthday Jah, another year without you here physically, however you will always live in our hearts and memories,” read a post on his IG Story. “Your amazing fans have continued to support you, and keep your legacy thriving. We are eternally grateful for them and the times we’ve shared. Here’s to continuing to have you touch millions of hearts around the world LLJ!”

Last week, jury selection in X’s murder trial began in Florida. Three suspects–Michael Boatwright, Dedrick Williams, and Trayvon Newsome–have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and armed robbery charges. They face life sentences if convicted.

The NFL announced Tuesday that multi-talented recording artists Babyface, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Chris Stapleton will all play a part in the NFL pre-show. Here's what they'll be performing:

Babyface — a legendary R&B artist, songwriter and producer — will perform "America the Beautiful."

Ralph — a recording artist, Broadway star, original "Dreamgirl" and Golden Globe-winning actress on the show "Abbott Elementary" — will sing "Lift Every Voice and Sing," the Black national anthem.

Chris Stapleton — a highly-acclaimed country singer who has won eight Grammy Awards and 10 Country Music Association Awards, as well as the 2023 Merle Haggard Spirit Award (given by the Academy of Country Music) — will perform the national anthem.

As has been the case for a number of years, all three songs will also be performed in American Sign Language.

Colin Denny, a Deaf Native American and proud member of the Navajo Nation, will be performing "America the Beautiful."

Troy Kotsur, a renowned Deaf actor who won a 2021 Academy Award for his work in the film "CODA," will be performing the national anthem.

Miles will also be providing the ASL translation of the Super Bowl Halftime Show, which will be Rihanna's long-awaited return to live performing. The U.S. Navy will also do a flyover to commemorate 50 years of women flying in the service.

NYPD Assert They Were Recording Apollo Theater Fans For Social Media
Police officers lock down the scene after two NYPD officers were shot in Harlem on January 21, 2022 in New York City. One officer was killed and the other remains in critical condition at Harlem Hospital. The officers were shot while responding to a domestic violence call near the 32nd precinct in Harlem. A video went viral over the weekend showing the New York Police Department recording Drake fans as they departed his Apollo show. After the internet reacted to the clip with disdain, the NYPD released a statement explaining their actions and reassuring the public that they weren’t attempting anything nefarious. Instead, the department claimed the footage was being gathered for social media use.

“The officer depicted in the video is a Community Affairs officer involved with the 28th Precinct’s social media team,” the statement read, according to Rolling Stone. “The officer was taking a video for an upcoming Twitter post that will highlight local community events. The video will not be utilized for any other reason.”

Mayor Eric Adams, who was in attendance for the show, doubled down on the NYPD’s intentions, releasing a statement of his own, reports ABC7. “Well, first we have to be honest with ourselves. Twitter is not real and those little people that goes back and forth all the time talking to themselves,” Adams said.

“When you have those that are sitting at home in the corner of the room, trying to find a reason to divide NYPD from everyday New Yorkers, then they are going to say that. Thumbs up to that great captain up in the 28 Precinct. I know that precinct. I know that captain. He’s very community-minded and community-centered and I commend him for doing so.”

“It was a large event,” he added. “Drake back at the Apollo! We want that. We want our police and community involved,” the mayor exclaimed.

Drake’s Apollo performance was detailed as one of “gratitude” and took place on Jan. 21 & Jan. 22.
His setlist included forty hits and fan-favorite cuts such as “Feel No Ways,” “Trust Issues,” “One Dance,” and more. Across the two nights, special guests included 21 Savage, Lil Uzi Vert, and Dipset.

Beyonce Sparks Pregnancy Rumors Following Dubai Concert
Beyonce Knowles continues to make headlines following her concert in Dubai, but this time is for a different reason. The R&B diva is rumored to be pregnant with her and Jay-Z's child again after photos and videos from the show at Atlantis The Royal resort leaked online.

For a portion of the private show, the mother of three rocked a short pink dress with bejeweled details completed with matching gloves and stockings. While she looked relatively fit and trim throughout her body, her belly appeared to stick out a little more than usual, prompting the pregnancy speculation.

"Is Beyonce pregnant... or has she just gained weight?" a curious fan asked on Twitter. Another user tweeted, "There has been opinions circulating that people think Beyonce is pregnant during performance in Dubai. Is Beyonce baking a bun?"

Many others have since weighed in on it, with one wishing the best for Bey and her supposed pregnancy. "Yes she looks baby bump healthy bless her," the said fan wrote. Another simply commented, "pregnant," while another agreed as saying, "Yes I agree looks like she is pregnant."
Some others begged to differ though. "She's said in the past her weight fluctuates, so we'll just have to wait and see," one person argued. Another claimed, "Probably just holiday weight."

Someone quipped, "That's that Popeyes chicken," as another brought up reports of Bey's reported recent foot surgery as the possible cause of her sticking out belly, "At first I thought so too, but after hearing about her foot surgery, it's probably just a little extra weight because she can't exercise. Still looks great."

The pregnancy rumors aside, Beyonce faced backlash following her performance in Dubai, a country which has zero tolerance to LGBTQ+. Speaking in defense of his daughter, Matthew Knowles told TMZ on Tuesday, January 24 that the "Lemonade" singer's show in the Middle East country "united a really diverse crowd" and brought people together.

The 71-year-old insisted that his daughter has "always stood for inclusiveness" and would never do anything to "deliberately hurt someone."

Matthew also teased an upcoming Bey tour. "She'll announce it when she's ready," he told the outlet.

Amy Robach Jets Out Of NYC Solo As T.J. Holmes Is Accused Of Affair With Another Junior Staffer
Amy Robach is traveling alone amid reports of T.J. Holmes' alleged other office affairs. The ABC News reporter has been spotted flying out of New York City after reportedly getting blindsided by the extent of her boyfriend's past relationships.

The 49-year-old was seen arriving at JFK Airport on Tuesday, January 24 to catch a flight out of NYC. She appeared to be in good spirits despite T.J.'s alleged scandalous affairs, flashing a smile at paparazzi while entering the airport.

The "Good Morning America" co-anchor was carrying a teal suitcase and a large backpack. She dressed casually, but still looked stylish in a black top and leggings, topped with a gray coat which she teamed with a pair of black boots. She also accessorized with aviator sunglasses, while her blonde hair was pulled in a messy updo.

Amy's solo trip comes amid new report that T.J. might have had an in-office romp with another junior staffer. According to Page Six, the alleged encounter happened in 2015, the same year he allegedly had a months-long affair with subordinate Jasmin Pettaway.

The second woman, whose identity has yet to be disclosed, was reportedly in her mid-20s and worked as an overnight associate producer at ABC at the time of the alleged encounter. Sources say the two would be in his office sometime after 3 A.M. with the door closed.

The sources claim "a bunch of rustling" could be heard coming from inside the room and that the woman emerged looking "completely flush" and like "a deer in headlights." It's unclear if she reported the encounter to HR, but one source alleges that T.J. may have used his power to seduce the young woman.

"He was in a position of power over her," the source says. "I do think it was like a, 'Here's this good-looking younger girl, and she's here in my office, let me make a move,' sort of thing," the source adds, describing the situation as "similar" to Jasmin's.

T.J. was also accused of cheating on his wife Marilee Fiebig with married "GMA" producer Natasha Singh starting in 2016. According to The Sun, Amy was "blindsided" by her boyfriend's past relationships with other co-workers.

"She had no idea the scope of TJ's alleged past office romances," a source claimed. "She certainly did not foresee that their relationship was going to cause major upheaval - outside of her own marriage. She did not expect this to blow up into a scandal," the source dished, adding that the mother of two feels like she's "collateral damage" in the scandal.

Page Six, however, reported that Amy was not "blindsided," at least by T.J.'s relationship with producer Natasha. According to the informant, the former CNN anchor was "up front" with Amy about his former relationships.

Madonna Biopic Starring Julia Garner Scrapped Due To World Tour Despite Years Of Hard Work
The highly-anticipated Madonna biopic is taking an indefinite hold. The Julia Garner-starring project, which the music icon was going to direct herself, is no longer in development at Universal Pictures.

Variety reported on Tuesday, January 24 that the project, which was first announced back in 2020, gets paused as the 64-year-old Queen of Pop prepares to go on a world tour. Though the project is not moving forward in development, it's said that the singer is still intending to make a movie about her life in the future.

In June, a source confirmed to PEOPLE that the Madonna film project was in "active development" and Julia was the "choice to play Madonna in the biopic." The 28-year-old Emmy winner would have potentially joined "Uncut Gems" actress Julia Fox, who was reportedly in talks to play the singer's longtime friend Debi Mazar. Debi is an actress known for "Empire Records" and "Goodfellas".

Madonna announced back in October that she was almost done writing the script. "Grateful for the success of Madame X, that my script is almost finished, and for the support of my beautiful children!" the "Material Girl" hitmaker captioned a series of selfies on Instagram at the time showing her sitting in front of her typed screenplay.

News that the biopic is off came a week after Madge announced her "Celebration" tour, which will start on July 15 at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, Canada. Earlier this month, she took to Instagram to share the details of the tour. She recruited her famous pals, including comedian Amy Schumer, actor Jack Black, rapper Lil Wayne and DJ Diplo, to help her out.

In the clip, Amy said, "Madonna, I dare you to do a world tour and play your greatest motherf**king hits." Madonna asked her, "Four decades, as in 40 years?" After asking if everyone around the table will come to the tour, she agreed, "F**k, yeah!"

Shemar Moore and Girlfriend Jesiree Dizon Welcome a Baby Girl!
Shemar Moore is officially a dad! The S.W.A.T. actor, 52, and girlfriend Jesiree Dizon have welcomed a baby girl, a rep for Moore tells us
"Shemar Moore and his partner, Jesiree Dizon, are happy to announce the birth of their baby girl.  The family is very happy and healthy," says the rep.

The model, 39, shares a 5-year-old daughter Charli with actor Stephen Bishop and also has a son, Kaiden, from a previous relationship.
The actor revealed his exciting baby news earlier this month, sharing that the baby had a very meaningful due date during his appearance on The Jennifer Hudson Show.

"I'm Shemar Moore, 52½ years old. My mother is in heaven, right now it'll be the three-year anniversary on February 8," he shared. "And on February 8, I'm going to make one of her dreams come true because, in real life, Shemar Moore is about to be a daddy."

The audience erupted into applause, with Hudson congratulating the actor on his joyous baby news, saying his mom was "smiling down on him from heaven."

"I'm so excited. I'm sorry she can't be here. I was worried for a while that it was a 'that ship has sailed' kind of thing but God had my back, and things lined up."
Moore continued, "It's going to be the best part of... My life is already pretty grand, but I know whenever God does call my name, once I get this experience, I'll be able to go to heaven whole."

Just before his mother Marilyn Wilson Moore's death in 2020, he told PEOPLE he had shown her a sprawling 9,000-square-foot Los Angeles home he intended to buy, seeking her approval before he signed an offer.

"I brought my mom to the house," the Criminal Minds alum told PEOPLE at the time. "She looked around and then she said, 'This is my son's home. I'm proud of you, Boo. And I hope it gives you a great life.' "

The actor became determined to keep her memory alive in his new home.
"My house is beautiful, but it's empty without her," said Moore of his 7-bedroom, 9-bathroom abode. "There's always going to be that void. But I'm doing my best to make it me, to make it my mother's son's home."

Social media slams Oscars after 'The Woman King' doesn't receive a single nomination
As previously reported, nominations for the 2023 Academy Awards were announced today (Jan. 24). The ceremony, also widely referred to as The Oscars, was designed in 1928 to celebrate achievements in the film industry. However, many are calling out the organization after The Woman King failed to receive recognition in any category.

The Woman King was released on Sept. 16, 2022 and sees Emmy Award-winning actress Viola Davis as the star of the film. In the movie, viewers are taken back to the 1800s and follow a fierce all-female colony of warriors called the Agojie who protect their African kingdom of Dahomey. Their skills, bravery and commitment are unparalleled by any tribe. The film takes from actual historical events as the Agojie existed as one of the few female tribes in modern times. Their reign lasted from the 17th century until the late 19th century. Despite raking in over $94 million at the box office, the Oscars did not deem the project worthy of any nominations.

“It honestly pains me that The Woman King got shut out in every category. I can forgive snubbing Viola Davis — she already has her Oscar gold, but they recreated the Kingdom of Dahomey circa 1820. It deserved Best Costume Design and Best Production Design at the very least,” one disappointed person tweeted. Last week, before the nominations, an admirer of the film shared their thoughts on Twitter: “The journey of IZOGIE [and] NAWI. Probably THEE highlight of The Woman King for me. Probably my favorite on-screen duo EVER as well. An inescapable story of mentorship, sisterhood [and] love, transmitted by the physical [and] emotional excellence of Lashana Lynch and Thuso Mbedu. AgojiΓ©!” The post contained moving scenes from the film.

Following today’s announcement, another person wrote, “When The Woman King hits streaming, a lot of people are going to be confused about why it was completely shut out of the Academy Awards. Feels like a missed opportunity.” One nomination that stood out, in particular, was actress Ana de Armas being acknowledged for her role as Marilyn Monroe in Blonde. “The Woman King didn’t get a single nom, but y’all nominating Blonde for [an] award?! Y’all so unserious!” a post read. Another mentioned a recurring theme when it comes to representation: “Danielle Deadwyler for Till and Viola Davis for The Woman King, both Black nominees who were front-runners all season, being snubbed in Best Actress, is diabolical. There are zero Black nominees in that category for a second year in [a] row.”

Paris Hilton Is a Mom! Star Reveals She and Husband Carter Reum Have Welcomed a Baby Boy
Paris Hilton is starting 2023 with a new title — mom!The businesswoman and media personality, 41, and husband Carter Reum recently welcomed their first baby together, a son, via surrogate, PEOPLE can confirm.

"It's always been my dream to be a mother and I'm so happy that Carter and I found each other," the new mom says. "We are so excited to start our family together and our hearts are exploding with love for our baby boy."

Sharing the exciting news on Instagram Tuesday, Hilton posted a close-up photo of the baby gripping her thumb. "You are already loved beyond words πŸ’™," she wrote.

Hilton has previously been open about her desire to become a parent alongside Reum, 41.
During an interview in December, the Love Rush fragrance founder discussed the couple's plan to have a baby after the pair tied the knot late last year, sharing that she and Reum began the in-vitro fertilization (IVF) process during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

"We started going and doing it like a few months in because the world was shut down, We knew we wanted to start a family, and I was like, 'This is perfect timing. Usually, I'm on a plane 250 days out of the year, and let's just get all of the eggs stocked and ready,' and we have tons of them just waiting."

Hilton and Reum got engaged in Feb. 2021 after more than a year of dating and tied the knot in a three-day wedding ceremony that November. A longtime friend of the Hilton family, Reum — a Chicago native — is an author, entrepreneur, and started venture capital firm M13.

"I have gotten the unique opportunity to get to know the real Paris on a daily basis, just the two of us during these past 15 months, and I couldn't be more excited and lucky to have her as my future wife and partner," Reum said in February 2021. "She shines with her kindness, work ethic, authenticity and her voice in making the world a better place, and she will do the same as a future mother and wife."

In an April episode of Nikki and Brie Bella's The Bellas Podcast, Hilton discussed the excitement she and Reum share about expanding their family.
"I love being married. I just feel like I finally found my perfect match and I just feel so safe," Hilton said of Reum. "I finally have my home and I just can't wait to start a family and have kids."

Explaining that she and Reum have "been talking about kids since the beginning — since the first couple, like, months of dating," Hilton said that the pair "would love to have twins."

"I think that would be amazing," the "Stars Are Blind" singer added, before noting that they would like "three or four" children overall.

Lloyd Morrisett, co-creator of 'Sesame Street,' dies at 93: 'He will be sorely missed'
Lloyd Morrisett, co-creator of the iconic children’s television series “Sesame Street,” has died. He was 93. Sesame Workshop, the nonprofit organization behind “Sesame Street,” shared the news of Morrisett’s death in a tweet Monday and confirmed his death to USA TODAY via email. A cause of death was not given.

“Sesame Workshop mourns the passing of our esteemed and beloved co-founder Lloyd N. Morrisett,” the organization wrote alongside a photo of Morrisett posing with a Muppet. “Lloyd leaves an outsized and indelible legacy among generations of children the world over, with 'Sesame Street' only the most visible tribute to a lifetime of good work and lasting impact.”
After receiving his bachelor’s degree at Oberlin College, Morrisett did graduate work in psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles, according to the official Sesame Workshop website, later earning a Ph.D. in experimental psychology from Yale University.

In 1968, Morrisett co-founded the nonprofit Children’s Television Workshop (which would later be renamed Sesame Workshop) with former publicist Joan Ganz Cooney, who called Morrisett “a trusted partner and loyal friend” in a statement shared by Sesame Workshop via Twitter Monday.

“Without Lloyd Morrisett, there would be no Sesame Street,” Cooney said in the statement. ”It was he who first came up with the notion of using television to teach preschoolers basic skills, such as letters and numbers.”

She added: “He will be sorely missed.”
"Sesame Street" aired its first episode on public television on Nov. 10, 1969. The landmark educational children's series introduced the world to beloved Muppet characters, including Big Bird and Oscar the Grouch, and helped pave the way for inclusion, diversity and learning onscreen. Morrisett worked as a writer on the series for 56 episodes from 1969-2010.

"'Sesame Street' (premiered) in '69, the year of both Woodstock and the moon landing, and carried on the optimism of the '60s," Ron Simon, curator of television and radio at the Paley Center for Media, told USA TODAY in 2019. "It was certainly an offshoot of the civil rights movement and brought together a multicultural cast and creative team."

The series, which moved to Warner Bros. Discovery's HBO Max streaming service in 2020, has also broken new ground for children’s television in recent years, introducing human and puppet characters dealing with issues such as homelessness, foster care and autism.

Tiffany Haddish Defends New Movie 'Landscape with Invisible Hand' Premiering at Sundance
Tiffany Haddish is speaking up in defense of her new movie.
The 43-year-old actress and producer was quick to respond to a question from a reporter who called it ironic that the studio backed Landscape With Invisible Hand had its premiere at the 2023 Sundance Film Festival in Park City, Utah on Monday (January 23).
According to Deadline, who has the video, the cast and crew were answering questions at the post-screening Q&A, when an audience member asked if any had “found it ironic that you have a film that’s about exploited young artists and also has studio financing having its world premiere at an indie film festival.”

Tiffany didn’t hesitate to answer and didn’t mince her reply.
“First of all, I’m a producer on this film, and I didn’t feel exploited,” she stated. “I feel like it’s very clear [director Cory Finley] stood up for what he believed in, and I think that’s what every artist should do.”

Tiffany and Cory were joined on stage by Michael Gandolfini and Kylie Rogers.

Landscape with Invisible Hand centers on two teenagers who come up with a plan to ensure their families’ futures when an occupying alien race’s promise of economic prosperity leaves most of humanity impoverished and desperate.

Brian McKnight Faces Backlash After Naming Another Son Brian McKnight, After Being Accused of Disowning His ‘Older Black Children’
R&B singer Brian McKnight and his wife, Leilani Malia McKnight, have welcomed a child, Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight. The couple announced the birth of their baby boy in a joint Instagram post.

“‘For this child we have prayed and the Lord has granted us the desires of our hearts’ 1 Samuel 1:2 God’s greatest gift, our son is here!!! [white heart]  Brian Kainoa Makoa McKnight [white hearts] We are so in love!!!! [red hearts],” wrote McKnight, who, with his wife, experienced the death of their newborn son, Kekoa Matteo — which he shared about in a May 2022 Instagram post.
Their post reached over 28,000 likes on Instagram, where fans flooded their comments section, sending over congratulatory remarks.

The McKnight’s public photo was soon accessed by several media outlets, whose comments sections were not so congratulatory. Quite a few fans wondered what inspired the couple to name their child Brian McKnight when the “One Last Cry” singer already has an older son named Brian McKnight Jr.

“Wait… your oldest is named Brian McKnight Jr, then you turn around and name this one Brian McKnight?… the audacity”
“Doesn’t he already have a son named Brian?”
“Not he disowned the first Brian Jr and decided to start back at one”
“But his disowned his older black children.”

McKnight has previously faced backlash from fans after being accused of abandoning his Black biological children from previous relationships: Brian McKnight Jr., Niko McKnight, and Briana McKnight, following his recent act of purchasing a 2023 BMW 4 Series Gran Coupe, for his wife’s daughter, Julia aka Jules.

Leilani also has a son, Jack, from a previous relationship.
His three children have even called him out in the past on social media for reportedly disowning them. McKnight’s second son, Niko, recently blasted his father for being “the biggest narcissistic, sociopathic a–hole.”

In 2019, McKnight’s eldest Jr. criticized him in a now-deleted Instagram post, stating that he “abandoned” him as well as his siblings.

“I don’t think there is any situation that merits the way my father has chosen to treat my brother, my sisters, and his grandchildren, one of which being his first born’s, first born son, who also bares our name,” he wrote.

McKnight’s daughter, Briana, joined her older brother in outing her father for, she says, constantly putting her “behind other kids that he would call his own while I’m cast into a land far, far away in the back of his mind.”

Disputing his children’s claims with a six-minute video, the 53-year-old denied any acts of him being a deadbeat father, suggesting that he and his offspring, which don’t follow him on any social media platform, fall into the “estranged” category.

Mike Tyson Faces $5 Million Lawsuit for Allegedly Raping Woman in Early 1990s
Mike Tyson is looking at a $5 million lawsuit after the former heavyweight boxing champion was accused of violently raping a woman in a limo in the early 1990s.

According to an affidavit filed in Albany County, New York, the alleged victim said she met Tyson at a nightclub and was invited into his limousine. She was under the assumption he would take her and another individual to a party. While driving to the location of the party, Tyson attempted to kiss the victim, which she denied, before he allegedly raped her.

“I met Mike Tyson in the early 1990s at a dance club called Septembers,” the affidavit read. “My friend and I were hanging out with him and his limousine driver. Tyson told us about a party and asked us to join him. My friend was going to drop off her car and Tyson said he would pick her up in the limousine.”

“He then pulled my pants off and violently raped me,” the lawsuit stated. “As a result of Tyson’s rape, I suffered and continue to suffer from physical, psychological, and emotional injury.”

The charges were filed under New York’s new Adult Survivors Act, which gives survivors of sexual abuse a one-year window to file complaints that would otherwise be prevented by the statute of limitations.

The unidentified victim is seeking $5 million in damages, as she has “been unable to maintain and/or develop healthy relationships with men or anyone in general” and has “experienced extreme emotional suffering including but not limited to nightmares, panic attacks and flashbacks.”

Back in February 1992, Tyson was convicted of rape in Indianapolis. He was sentenced to six years in prison and was released on parole after three years.

Spotify Cutting 600 Jobs As a Result Of Over Spending in 2020
Spotify is the latest tech company to announce a wave of layoffs as recession whispers loom.
On Monday, the streamer confirmed that it would eliminate approximately 600 people within its global workforce, which accounts for 6% of its total workers. The Sweden-based company informed staff via an internal memo sent by CEO Daniel Ek. After receiving the email, staffers were left to anxiously await “one-on-one” conversations with their managers informing them of their fate. Spotify Chief Content Officer Dawn Ostrof also revealed her departure from the company.

The move arrives as Spotify works to cut costs in certain areas. This revelation is disheartening, especially considering that the company inked a three-year deal in 2020 with controversial podcast Joe Rogan worth an estimated $200 million. Additionally, that same year, Spotify acquired The Ringer, a podcast network and website covering pop culture and sports, for an estimated $250 million.

“In hindsight, I was too ambitious in investing ahead of our revenue growth,” Ek wrote, though he didn’t expound on any specific investments.

Sadly, this rash of layoffs is not exclusive to the music platform. Most of the tech sector is being forced to cut down its workforce after mass hiring to meet increased growth during the pandemic. Days ago, employees with Google were left blindsided by the terminations of both newly promoted and tenured workers. On January 18th, Microsoft announced 10,000 staffers would be axed.

Spotify is set to pay up to $65.5 million in severance to affected employees.

Kanye West could be denied entry to Australia over anti-Semitic remarks, minister says
Ye, formerly known as Kanye West, may not be suitable for an Australian visa because of his history of anti-Semitic remarks, a government minister said on Wednesday, as pressure mounted to deny entry to the award-winning US rapper.
Minister for Education Jason Clare condemned Ye’s “awful” anti-Semitic comments involving Hitler and the Holocaust, saying others who had made similar statements had been denied visas.

“People like that who’ve applied for visas to get into Australia in the past have been rejected,” Clare said in an interview with CNN affiliate Nine News. “I expect that if he does apply he would have to go through the same process and answer the same questions that they did.”

A spokesperson for Ye did not immediately respond to a request for comment.
Australian media reported that Ye would visit the country to meet the family of his partner, Bianca Censori, who grew up in Melbourne.

Ye has been dropped by major corporate partners, including Adidas, and banned from Twitter because of anti-Semitic remarks and outbursts on social media against other celebrities.

Australia has previously refused or revoked visas to far-right figures for failing the “good character” test. British conspiracy theorist David Icke had his visa revoked in 2019, just before starting a speaking tour.

Gavin McInnes, founder of the Proud Boys, a male-only group who identify as “Western chauvinists,” was denied a visa in 2018 after a public campaign that included a petition with 81,000 signatories, according to Australian media.

Opposition leader Peter Dutton, immigration minister under a previous government, said Tuesday that he would be inclined to ban Ye but that it was a decision for the government.

“His anti-Semitic comments are disgraceful, his conduct [and] his behavior are appalling,” Dutton told 3AW radio. “He’s not a person of good character and the minister has the ability to stop somebody coming into our country of bad character.”

Peter Wertheim, co-chief executive officer of the Executive Council of Australian Jewry, met officials on Tuesday to argue for an entry ban.

“We had a sympathetic hearing,” Wertheim said on CNN affiliate Sky News. “We’ve made the case that this particular individual does not meet the character test and that it would be in the national interest not to grant him a visa and we set out our reasons in some detail in that letter.”
