#RHOA: 'Real Housewives of Potomac' Star Ashley Darby Confirms Split From Luke Galbranson
Sorry, Ashley Darby and Luke Gulbranson shippers, the couple has decided to call it quits! The Real Housewives of Potomac star confirmed on Sunday's Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen that after less than three months of dating, it's officially a wrap for the Bravolebrities.

"Luke and I are not romantically involved anymore," the 34-year-old reality star told Cohen and the audience, responding to the speculation that spread after the two had deleted photos of the other from their respective Instagram accounts late last month.

She explained that her ongoing divorce with estranged husband Michael Darby -- with whom she shares sons Dean, 3, and Dylan, nearly 2 -- is to blame for their split.

"It was my situation with Michael that affected Luke and I," she shared, noting that she and Michael "have a really hard time" co-parenting and separating. "Really, my life is very complicated. As you guys can imagine, I'm going through a very difficult situation."

But Darby noted that Gulbranson "was a trouper," adding that the Summer House alum "went through some things" during their time together. She also revealed that she had even met his entire family during their time together. "They were amazing, I fell in love with them. So great," she said.

Darby and Gulbranson made headlines with a flirtation that struck up at last year's BravoCon in New York City. ET spoke with the Potomac star about her text exchange with the 39-year-old reality star, where she told ET, "They're actually super innocent. I invited him to come hang out with us."

Admitting that she's in her "hot girl villain era," Ashley agreed that Luke "is a man."

"I know he is! And that's like a little bit intimidating for me honestly," Darby confessed. "He's really hot and he knows it."

Blushing, Ashley quipped, "I can't believe how hot my face is at this moment...I have to admit, I get a little tingle when I look at Luke's picture -- so that's a good sign."

Darby's "unconventional" marriage to Michael has long been a focus of discussion amongst the RHOP OG's co-stars and viewers alike. In the beginning, there were questions about why a beautiful, young pageant queen would tie the knot with an older businessman, who largely already lived his life. Then, as the seasons went on, new questions started to poke at the ins and outs of their relationship, with claims of infidelity and suspicion of inappropriate behavior becoming a main theme in the show's storylines.

Back in October, she chatted with ET about the "difficult decision," explaining that "I just really am a different person than I was was when he met me."

"I do want people to remember that we're human, that I'm a human," she said as a message to viewers, "and I really do wish that I could operate in this very linear, 'This is how it's gonna go and so it shall be...' but these emotions are really complex, and I just I hope people do have an understanding of that. It's been a challenging time for me."

The star couldn't exactly boil down her decision to end things to one reason, but shared that she and her estranged husband "just have different expectations for the relationship." After Darby gave birth to her and Michael's sons, she shared how she was ready to put some of their past habits behind them, like inviting third parties into the bedroom.

"It has just sort of been a long time coming," she lamented. "And yes, there is something that happened, that I do share in this season, that was sort of the pivotal moment that made it come to fruition, but ultimately ... it's just been piling up, if you will."

But don't count the mom of two out just yet! Despite her trials with Michael and the brief stint with Gulbranson, Darby told Cohen on WWHL that she isn't worried about getting back into the dating scene. "This is my first relationship after. And it's nice to be reminded that I am that girl and I love to love and I love to be loved," she told Cohen, even encouraging him to put his matchmaking skills to work as he did for her and Gulbranson. "Give me all the love!"

#MusicNews: Vedo Featuring Chris Brown on New Single “Do You Mind”
Singer Vedo teams up with superstar Chris Brown to start the new year with the brand new single “Do You Mind”.
This is the second single from platinum singer/songwriter Vedo’s upcoming sixth studio album “Mood Swings” which will release January 13th.

The catchy upbeat record was produced by Spiff Sinatra and Hero the Producer. Vedo shares about the song:

LISTEN HERE
“Do You Mind was actually written a while ago and is just now being released. The collaboration happened because I stayed persistent. I had asked CB on separate occasions to do a verse on a song and his reply would be I don’t think it’s time. His reasoning was that he didn’t want to overshadow me on the song, he wanted me to keep building a presence so that the song wouldn’t become a “Chris Brown” feat VEDO record. I had to respect that.”

Vedo had previously worked with Chris Brown, helping to pen his recent hit “Warm Embrace”. He has also contributed to a number of hits for Usher, Ella Mai, Ari Lennox and more.

#HipHopNews: Tory Lanez Hires Suge Knight's Lawyer Ahead Of Court Hearing
Tory Lanez has new legal representation. Following his conviction for shooting Megan Thee Stallion, the disgraced rapper has reportedly parted ways with the lawyer who represented him during the case, George Mgdesyan.

According to legal reporter Meghann Cuniff, who covered the high-profile trial, Lanez has hired David Kenner, the famed criminal defense attorney whose clients have included former Death Row Records CEO Suge Knight. Kenner also represented Snoop Dogg during his 1996 murder trial, for which he was acquitted.

“Regarding Tory Lanez’s Tuesday court date, yes, there is a date listed on the jail roster,” Cuniff tweeted. “It’s not on Judge Herriford’s calendar, and he’s got a bunch of other stuff at the time. Attorney David Kenner confirmed to me last week he’s now representing Tory.”
On Dec. 23, Lanez was found guilty in the July 2020 shooting of the “Savage” rapper. Following a nine-day trial and seven hours of deliberations, a Los Angeles jury convicted him on all three counts-assault with a semiautomatic handgun, carrying a loaded, unregistered firearm in a vehicle, and discharging a firearm with gross negligence.

“Anyone with actual experience in criminal law (not all lawyers) will tell you he’s joining the case a bit late: Before trial would have been better,” adds Cuniff.

A hearing is scheduled for Tuesday. While Kenner’s hiring may be part of an attempt to overturn Lanez’s conviction, “any post-conviction motion regarding false evidence or witness testimony is very unlikely to come this quick,” claims Cuniff.

Lanez, who has remained behind bars since his conviction, faces up to 22 years in prison and could be deported to his home country of Canada when he is sentenced on Jan. 27.

#BCS: The Georgia Bulldogs repeat as college football's national champion, thrashing TCU
The University of Georgia Bulldogs showed why they're the best team in college football — again. With an unrelenting and dominant performance in the national championship game, Georgia swamped Texas Christian University 65-7 to finish undefeated and repeat as national champions.

The 65 points scored by Georgia are the most in a (BCS/College Football Playoff) championship game.
TCU came in as a huge underdog and the team had no answer for Georgia. After the kickoff, Georgia stopped TCU's opening drive, and then scored first with a 21-yard rushing touchdown by senior quarterback Stetson Bennett. The Bulldogs marched down the field in less than three minutes slicing through TCU's defense.

It was a sign of things to come.
TCU quarterback Max Duggan is sacked in the second quarter during the College Football Playoff National Championship game on Jan. 9, 2023.

UGA forced a fumble on the Horned Frogs next offensive effort and the turnover led to another Georgia score — a 24-yard field goal to go up 10-0 midway through the 1st quarter.

But third-ranked TCU answered on its next drive. Quarterback Max Duggan marched the Horned Frogs 75-yards for a score. Like the Georgia QB, Duggan, the Heisman runner-up, rushed for a touchdown to cut the Bulldog lead to 10-7. It would be TCU's only points of the game.

Georgia responded right away with a 37-yard Bennett touchdown pass to extend the lead to 17-7. The Bulldog defense stopped TCU on its next series and then marched 92-yards for another Stetson Bennett rushing touchdown for a 24-7 Georgia lead in the second quarter.

Georgia simply dominated to lead 38-7 at the break, scoring on all six of its possessions (the first team to do that in the playoffs). The Bulldogs racked up 354 yards of offense in the half and averaged 9 yards per play.

TCU started the second half on a positive note — forcing a Georgia punt. But the Horned Frog offense was stymied yet again and the Bulldogs picked up where they left off — with another touchdown pass by Bennett to extend the lead to 45-7.

With 11-minutes left in the third quarter, the game was essentially over.
Bulldog quarterback Stetson Bennett would account for six touchdowns (two rushing and four passing) and was taken out of the game 95-seconds into the fourth quarter.

Georgia came into the contest undefeated (14-0) and the defending national champions. Led by Bennett (a former walk-on QB), Georgia overwhelmed the Southeastern Conference — the best conference in college football. Georgia was ranked number one for most of the season.

Texas Christian is a private university in Fort Worth, Texas, with an enrollment of about 12,000. It came in to the title game with a 13-1 record and the Big 12 Conference champions. Before the season began, TCU was picked to finish seventh in the conference and was a 200-to-1 longshot to win the national championship. But the Horned Frogs surprised legions of football fans all season long with their ability to win. They couldn't find a way past Georgia though in the most important game of the year.

The Southeastern Conference has dominated the Division I FBS college football playoffs. Since 2014 when the CFP began, an SEC team has won the title six times. Before Georgia, no team had repeated as national champion in the CFP era.

One notable Bulldog didn't get to witness the victory. Georgia's famous mascot, Uga X, did not make the trip to southern California for the championship game. The bulldog is a common fixture at Georgia games wearing a UGA uniform and hanging out in an air-conditioned doghouse on the sidelines. His owners told WTOC television the cross-country flight would have been too difficult for the 9-year-old bulldog.

It's safe to say Uga X will enjoy the upcoming victory parade in Athens, Ga.

#BoxOfficeNews: Box Office Results: M3GAN Exceeds Expectations, Avatar Continues Ascent
In a surprising twist, the Blumhouse thriller M3GAN proved quite formidable at the January box office, pulling in a terrific $30.2 million in its debut weekend after posting an $11.7 million Saturday, per Deadline. Another example of why studios continue to count on low-budget horror films (M3GAN was produced for just $12 million) for easy cash.

Elsewhere, Avatar: The Way of Water continued its stellar run up the charts. The pic exceeded expectations in its fourth weekend, accruing an astonishing $45M million to raise its domestic haul to $516.7 million. James Cameron’s epic hit the half-billion mark in 23 days, faster than Rogue One: A Star Wars Story and Top Gun: Maverick, who each took 32 days to achieve the same total.

Globally, the long-awaited sequel has netted a massive $1.7 billion and is just $208 million away from overtaking Spider-Man: No Way Home ($1.9B). Never doubt James Cameron, folks. By comparison, the original Avatar grossed $50M in its fourth weekend domestically, while The Force Awakens nabbed $42 million (en route to a $936M domestic total), and Spidey swung to $32 million. How high will The Way of Water fly? Your guess is as good as mine.

Meanwhile, the Tom Hanks drama A Man Called Otto reaped in $4.2 million from 637 theaters and will continue its expansion in the weeks ahead, while Marvel’s Wakanda Forever continues its leggy run, adding $4.2M in Week 9 to bring its domestic total to $445.4M.

Still, the best news about this weekend is how closely it resembled pre-Pandemic times. Around this time in 2020, before you know what hit the fan, 1917 led the way with $39.2M in its third weekend (the film’s first in wide release, if I’m not mistaken), while The Rise of Skywalker and Jumanji: The Next Level enjoyed fourth and fifth weekends of $15.05M and $14M, respectively. Obviously, times have changed, and esteemed pictures such as Babylon ($13.5M domestically thus far) and I Wanna Dance With Somebody ($19.6M) continue to need help finding an audience. Even so, this week’s numbers are promising.

Box Office Results: Domestic Top 10 Movies
1.) Avatar 2
2.) M3GAN
3.) Puss in in Boots 2
4.) A Man Called Otto
5.) Wakanda Forever
6.) I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Sony) 3184
7) The Whale
8.) Babylon
9.) Violent Night

Joey Fatone Sings 'Bye Bye Bye' During Impromptu Performance at Miami Drag Brunch
Former *NYSNC member Joey Fatone gave an impromptu performance during drag brunch at the Palace in Miami — to a very enthusiastic crowd.
The world-famous South Beach bar shared video of the moment to its social media pages on Sunday, the clip capturing the moment Fatone, 45, joined drag queens Tiffany Fantasia and Elishaly D’witshes on the floor to perform the *NSYNC hit “Bye Bye Bye.”

While the queens might have lip-synced the 2000 tune, Fatone broke out into song, singing along (in harmony too) to the beloved boy band banger.

He also effortlessly slipped back into the “Bye Bye Bye” choreography, mimicked by fans for decades since its release. As the song played out, Fantasia and D’witshes gained their footing with the dance, as Fatone guided them through it with each move.

The brunch-goers couldn’t seem to contain their excitement, singing along and cheering Fatone on. The song ended with riotous applause for the singer, and he darted off quickly back to his seat.

“WHAT A WEEKEND ITS BEEN ALREADY!!” the Palace wrote. “We had the honor of being visited by *NSYNC’s own Joey Fatone, who joined us and sang one of their biggest hits with our queens for our visitors. You never know who’s going to attend our shows!”

Fatone is one of the founding members of *NSYNC, alongside Justin Timberlake, Chris Kirkpatrick, Lance Bass and JC Chasez.

Since the band’s hiatus was announced in 2002, Fatone has gone on to explore a variety of other career paths. In 2007, he competed on Dancing with the Stars with Kym Johnson, and narrowly lost the Mirrorball trophy, earning second place. He’s since returned to the ballroom twice — once as he and Johnson teamed up again, and another time as a trio member.

From 2010 to 2015, he joined Steve Harvey’s Family Feud as one of the show’s announcers, and has made several appearances on the Food Network.

He returned to the stage in 2019 to compete as “Rabbit” on the Masked Singer, where he ended up tying Rumer Willis for fourth place.

He told PEOPLE at the time that his stint on the show surprised people, reminding them of his talent, with some people even suggesting that he launch a solo career. “People are like, ‘I didn’t know you had the voice and chops. You should do an album,'” he said. “I’m like, ‘Eh, I’d be fun to do one.’ It’s not my forte in the sense of doing a solo career.”

He added that he’s “not even worried about” releasing his own album or launching a solo career in a way that emulates his band member Justin Timberlake.

That summer, he teamed up with three fellow former boy band stars — Backstreet Boys’ AJ McLean and Nick Carter and Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris — for a limited engagement in Las Vegas.

He told Variety the idea came originally as a “Rat Pack meets the Pop age now,” but turned into “more of a celebration of our bands and a homage to pop culture.”

The four-night event, which included sit-down conversations with the stars as well as performances of each of their bands’ respective hits, took fans “through a bit of history,” Fatone said.

He spends his time now hosting Game Show Network’s Common Knowledge and spending time with his two daughters, Briahna, 21, and Kloey, 12.

Jane Fonda And Her Co-Stars Became 'Problem For Director' On Set Of '80 For Brady'
Jane Fonda admits she and her "80 for Brady" co-stars couldn't stop talking on the set. The 85-year-old actress, Sally Field, Rita Moreno, and Lily Tomlin became a "problem for the director," Kyle Marvin, because they had so much fun on set that they found it hard to get back into character and start working.

"Getting us to stop talking to each other and start playing our characters. You know, we just - whether it was Rita and I singing - she starts a song and I finish it and vice versa. And I don't know, we just, we really enjoyed it," she joked to People magazine of the "problem."

Jane had known her co-stars for decades so was thrilled to get to work with them. She said, "You know, I've known Lily for 50 years. I've made three other movies with her and another one is being shown on Sunday, by the way. 'Moving On', which I love, dark comedy.

"I've known Sally 40 years, and I just so admire her and watching her process of creating the character during the course of filming was really special."
And Rita, 91, was delighted to be cast alongside such "spectacularly special actresses." She gushed, "So, you know, when the names were first mentioned to me, I said, 'Who?! Who did you say is in this?! Oh, my God, that's incredible.' And you know, it was incredible. It was fabulous."

"This woman who is next to us here, Jane Fonda, is sensational and funny. And the movie, I'm happy to say, it's so wonderful to sit here and not be even a little bit nervous. It's funny, it does everything it's supposed to do, this movie."

"And this woman is - I keep saying 'This woman' because she's right next to me and you can't see her - but Jane is just spectacular, and she's funny."

Jane praised Rita's work ethic and admitted she was "in awe" of her. She said, "I mean, when I started to feel tired, I'm 85, but she's 91, and she never got tired. She was so full of energy and imagination and joy. I mean, look at her. I just, you know, I'm in awe of her, and she's my new role model."

Stranger gifts autistic 11-year-old Colorado boy $15,000 piano after hearing him play
You may need to grab some Kleenex as this story is sure to warm your heart. As reported Friday (Jan. 6) by CBS News, about a year and a half ago, Isaiah Kofie was absolutely stunned when he heard his autistic son, Jude Kofie, beautifully playing a keyboard that was stored in the family’s basement — especially since the child never took a single lesson.

The surprised father grabbed his cellphone to record and the video quickly went viral on social media. Although Isaiah is an immigrant from Ghana supporting his wife, their four children and regularly sending money to other relatives in their home country, he knew he had to nurture his son’s undeniable talent and eventually purchased him a larger keyboard. After hearing of Jude’s remarkable story, a rather large present from someone arrived on the family’s doorstep. “So one day it just shows up at the house?” a CBS News reporter asked Isaiah regarding the $15,000 grand piano his son was gifted. “Yes,” the father replied.

“All for free. Who does that?” the grateful father continued in the interview. As it turns out, once piano tuner Bill Magnusson heard 11-year-old Jude play and learned of his family’s circumstances, he stepped in. The good samaritan used his father’s inheritance and purchased a $15,000 piano — estimated to be worth $45,000 — for the litter learner and promised to tune it once a month for the rest of his life. Magnusson has also devoted some of those funds to professional lessons for the child. In a video of the interview shared by the network, Jude was over the moon with excitement.

WATCH
When asked by the station’s reporter how he managed to get so good at playing the piano, Jude responded, “It’s a miracle.” Magnusson, who compared the child’s talents to one of the greatest composers of all time, agreed: “He’s beyond special. He’s Mozart-level. It’s coming from somewhere beyond.” While holding back tears, the donor said, “We’re family now.” Isaiah, also overcome with emotions, added, “Somebody to just love your son like that, by making sure that his future is secured, we are super thankful.”

More than 400 arrested following insurrection in Brazil's capital
Brazil President Luiz InΓ‘cio Lula da Silva condemned those involved. Brazil continues to reel from the insurrection that took place in its capital on Sunday (Jan. 8). Video footage and images shared around the world showed a massive mob storming the National Congress, the Supreme Federal Court, and Planalto Palace in apparent support of Jair Bolsonaro, the country’s former head of state. Anti-riot police and the Brazilian Armed Forces eventually arrived to disperse the unruly crowds.

Many compare the situation to the siege on the United States Capitol two years ago, which left five dead before order was restored. Additionally, four officers who responded to the attack died by suicide. Several have since been handed down lengthy prison sentences with many more still awaiting prosecution. The House of Representatives adopted one article of impeachment against Donald Trump over accusations of inciting the ordeal, making him the first U.S. president to be impeached twice.

In the wake of Brazil‘s chaos, more than 400 individuals have been arrested, according to BrasΓlia Governor Ibaneis Rocha. He also apologized to the nation and its current president, Luiz InΓ‘cio Lula da Silva, in a public address. Not along after, Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes suspended Rocha from his position for 90 days as the government continues its investigation.

President Biden reacted to the incursion on social media, promising to assist if needed: “I condemn the assault on democracy and on the peaceful transfer of power in Brazil. Brazil’s democratic institutions have our full support and the will of the Brazilian people must not be undermined.”

Last fall, Bolsonaro lost his campaign for re-election against Lula, who is now the first to take on Brazil’s top post for a third term. Much like fellow far-righter Trump, Bolsonaro deemed the election unfair in a farewell speech before departing to Florida. In a series of tweets, he denounced yesterday’s events and repudiated himself from involvement.

Smeagol (which rhymes with bagel) stars as Tom‘s character’s companion in the big screen movie.

“We had 8 weeks of preparation once we received the script and saw some of the actions that they required to prep him and train him to do those actions,” Smeagol‘s trainer Brittany Long shared in a recent interview. “The hardest thing about that was a lot of it was outside and during very very cold months of the year.”
Tom and Smeagol were joined at the screening by their co-stars, Rita Wilson, Mariana Trevino, Alessandra Perez, Rachel Keller, Christiana Montoya, Truman Hanks, Kelly Lamor Wilson, Mack Bayda and director Marc Forster.

Dr. Dre sends cease and desist to congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene over ‘Still D.R.E.’ use
Dr. Dre has demanded that Republican congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene cease the unauthorised usage of his music, after the rapper’s ‘2001’ song ‘Still D.R.E.’ was used in one of Greene’s promotional videos.
The controversial Georgia representative – who has a history of sharing far-right conspiracy theories and other extremist views – recently posted a video to her social media celebrating Kevin McCarthy’s election as House Speaker. In the since-removed clip, an instrumental taken from ‘Still D.R.E.’ can be heard playing.

As TMZ reports, Dre condemned Greene’s usage of the song, telling the publication: “I don’t license my music to politicians, especially someone as divisive and hateful as this one.”
Dre’s legal team also sent a letter to Greene demanding she cease using his music. “You are wrongfully exploiting this work through the various social media outlets to promote your divisive and hateful political agenda,” Dre’s attorney, Howard E. King, wrote in the letter. “Demand is hereby made that you cease and desist from any further unauthorized use of [Dr. Dre’s] music.”

Greene has long been an ally of Donald Trump, made antisemitic remarks, and spread conspiracy theories such as a belief in the widely-debunked Qanon. Early last year, her Twitter account was suspended after she violated the social network’s COVID-19 misinformation policy. She was elected to congress in 2020, and reelected last year.

According to TMZ, Greene has since been locked out of her Twitter account after Dre’s legal team requested the video be taken down by the social media company. In a statement, MTG addressed the rapper directly: “While I appreciate the creative chord progression, I would never play your words of violence against women and police officers, and your glorification of the thug life and drugs.”

Dr. Dre is the latest in a long line of artists who have demanded their music not be used without their permission by right-wing politicians. The likes of Neil Young, Rihanna, The Rolling Stones and Adele are among the many acts who spoke out against their music being played at Trump rallies, with some going as far as issuing cease and desists.

“Criminal Minds” actor Shemar Moore is becoming a father for the first time at 52 years old with girlfriend Jesiree Dizon, and the baby will be a girl!
Moore uploaded their two-minute gender reveal video onto his Instagram where fans were able to see the couple finding out about their bundle of joy’s sex through the way of a helicopter that let out pink powder.

Before it was revealed that he was having a girl, Moore, who was wearing a bright pink sweater, shared his excitement about becoming a father.

“Today, ya boy Shemar mother f—–g Moore, Shemar Franklin Moore is about to find out if he’s gonna be a daddy to a little girl or to a little boy, a lil homie,” he said into the camera.

The caramel hunk continued to note that while this is an exciting time for him, he wished his mother was physically present to be able to be a part of this experience.

“Mama I did it! Mama’s in heaven. I miss her so much I wish she was here. She’s smiling, she’s so proud. Wanted to make this happen while you were here, but you’re still a part of all of this.”

Moore’s mother passed away back in 2020 at 76 due to multiple sclerosis and a heart condition.
“Mama’s smiling from Heaven [dove emoji]… Miracles happen… Here comes the BEST part of my life [heart emoji]” Moore wrote as his caption.

The “Brothers” actor was met with compliments in his comment section as well as comments referencing his infamous “Criminal Minds” line calling his partner Penelope Garcia, “baby girl.”

“Now you can continue your ‘baby girl’ slogan!”
“I can hear him saying ‘baby girl’ like he used to in Criminal Minds”

While this will be Moore’s first child, this will be his girlfriend’s third. Dizon already has a 5-year-old daughter, Charli, whom she shares with ex-boyfriend Stephen Bishop. She also has a 16-year-son, Kaiden, whom she shares with another man.

Hugh Jackman Denies Using Steroids for ‘X-Men’ Films: Not Worth the Side Effects
Hugh Jackman got jacked all on his own.The “Logan” actor has addressed rumors that he juiced up on steroids to portray “X-Men” character Wolverine across the decades-spanning franchise.

“No, I love my job. And I love Wolverine,” Jackman said during HBO’s “Who’s Talking to Chris Wallace” (via Variety) when asked if he took steroids for the role. “I got to be careful what I say here, but I had been told anecdotally what the side effects are of that. And I was like, ‘I don’t love it that much.'”

Jackman added, “So no, I just did it the old-school way. And I tell you, I’ve eaten more chickens — I’m so sorry to all the vegans and vegetarians and to the chickens of the world. Literally the karma is not good for me. If the deity has anything related to chickens, I’m in trouble.”

Jackman is set to reprise playing Wolverine for “Deadpool 3” opposite Ryan Reynolds’ titular antihero. The Tony winner confirmed that the upcoming MCU installment will be a totally different iteration of the character.

“When I keep thinking of me and Ryan, of Deadpool and Wolverine, which are classic comic-book rivals, there’s also a dynamic that I’ve never really got to do before as Wolverine,” Jackman told Chris Wallace. “I just thought, ‘This is going to be fun. Something I’ve never done before. I can’t wait.'”

The “Son” actor told IndieWire’s Eric Kohn that his turn as the Wolverine made him worry about being typecast as a gruff action star.

“I didn’t want to do the same things,” Jackman said. “You know, the role of the hero action star. I mean, it was the meat-and-potatoes of a lot of American film, that archetype. It was all various forms of heroic guys in tough situations. I was like, ‘Uh, no. This is a problem.'”

Australian actor Jackman also addressed being approached for the role of James Bond prior to Daniel Craig’s casting, saying, “I had a look at it. I was like, ‘If I’m doing that and Wolverine, I’ll have no time to do anything else.’ I clearly find it more interesting to play people who color outside the lines.”

Netflix Announces The Second Season Of ‘Wednesday’
A new school year is opening at the Nevermore Academy. Netflix recently surprised fans with the trailer for the second season of its hit series “Wednesday,” starring Jenna Ortega.

Although the less-than-one-minute video doesn’t have much information regarding the upcoming season, the announcement confirms season two with a quick recap of season one, which successfully wrapped in 2022.

Tim Burton’s “Wednesday,” the Addams Family spinoff series focused on Gomez and Morticia Addams’s daughter, positioned at the #1 place on the platform. “Thanks to everyone who made this upcoming season possible,” Ortega tweeted. “This has all been pretty surreal.”

Co-showrunner Miles Millar shared with TVLine his thoughts about season two. “We felt like we just touched the surface with those characters, and the actors are so amazing in those roles,” Millar said. “Catherine is, I think, an iconic Morticia. The relationship between Wednesday and Morticia is also essential to the show, and the idea that Wednesday is trying to forge her own path outside the family is important.”

The show’s creators Alfred Gough and Millar also shared their reaction to the series‘ renewal, stating: “It’s been incredible to create a show that has connected with people across the world. Thrilled to continue Wednesday’s tortuous journey into season 2. We can’t wait to dive head first into another season and explore the kooky spooky-world of Nevermore. Just need to make sure Wednesday hasn’t emptied the pool first.”

Season one features Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia and Luis GuzmΓ‘n as Gomez; Isaac Ordonez plays Pugsley; Victor Dorobantu voices Thing, and George Burcea plays Lurch.

The cast includes Gwendoline Christie, Jamie McShane, Percy Hynes White, Hunter Doohan, Emma Myers, Joy Sunday, Naomi J Ogawa, Moosa Mostafa, Georgie Farmer, and Riki Lindhome.

Andy Cohen ‘hoping’ to interview Jen Shah before she heads to prison
Andy Cohen wants to get some closure with Jen Shah before the embattled “Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star heads to federal prison.
“I’m hoping to go talk to Jen this weekend,” the “Housewives” honcho, 54, said Monday on SiriusXM’s Radio Andy, per @bravobygays.

“I’m hopeful that I can do that sit-down [interview] with her in front of some cameras and deliver that to you,” he elaborated. “I’m really hoping to do that.”
Cohen’s comments came just days after Shah, 49, was sentenced to six and-a-half years behind bars for running a nationwide telemarketing scheme that targeted thousands of people, predominantly the elderly.

Following the New York City court hearing, the Bravolebrity — who was facing a maximum of 14 years — issued an apology to the victims as well as her family.
“I am profoundly and deeply sorry,” she tearfully said while looking at her husband, Sharrieff Shah, and their sons, Sharrieff Jr. and Omar.

Jen confessed to going “against” her core values of “humility and loyalty and respect” before acknowledging that her actions “hurt innocent people.”

She is scheduled to surrender on Feb. 17.
The reality star was arrested in March 2021 as cameras rolled for “RHOSLC” Season 2. Though she initially pleaded not guilty, she changed her plea in July 2022.

Her eventual admission seemingly cost her a seat at the “Salt Lake City” Season 3 reunion, which filmed last month in Manhattan.

Jen told her Instagram followers on Dec. 16 that the decision had been reached after discussing with Bravo the topics she would and would not be able to touch upon during filming.
“I was clear with Bravo that out of respect for the courts and a standing judicial order, I would not be in a position to discuss anything related to my legal case or sentencing,” she explained, claiming that the network “found this unsatisfactory and said they expected to discuss this ‘storyline.’”

“That expectation has no regard for me or my family’s well-being,” Shah added. “So under legal advice, I will not be attending reunion.”

Back in October at BravoCon 2022, Cohen implied that the network had cut ties with Jen after she pleaded guilty.

“Once we wrapped [filming for Season 3, and] she pled guilty, I think that was kind of, unfortunately, the end of, you know, the engagement there,” he told inquiring fans.
Cohen also planted the seed of a one-on-one with Jen during the three-day event. “But I hope to sit down with her and talk to her at some point on camera,” he added, “because I have a lot of questions for her.”

“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. ET on Bravo.

Willie Aames Says 'I'm Gutted' After Eight Is Enough Costar Adam Rich's Death: 'My Only Little Brother'
Eight Is Enough's Willie Aames is grieving the loss of his longtime friend Adam Rich.
After news of Rich's death broke on Sunday, Aames shared his love for his former costar on Facebook.

"This morning [my wife] Winnie woke me with the heartbreaking news of Adam Rich's passing," he wrote. "I'm gutted. Adam was more than a colleague. He was very much my only little brother. A lifelong friend."

He also detailed some of Rich's thought processes in the past few years, stating the actor considered returning to Hollywood. "These last few years Adam had dreams of renewing his career. He was one of those kid actors that our generation will always remember."

Aames also remembered Rich's role as Nicholas Bradford on Eight Is Enough, with Aames beside him as Nicholas's brother Tommy Bradford. "I can't tell you how many parents have told me they named their first child 'Nicolas' after his Eight Is Enough character. The diminishing fraternity of kids that grew up in the golden years of family television has lost another of our own. I will miss him deeply."
He ended the post, "Rest 'A.R.' You were the cutest TV kid of them all," adding the hashtag "#heartbroken."
Eight Is Enough's Betty Buckley also shared an emotional tribute to Rich online. "Adam Rich was a light and my young pal for the four seasons I was blessed to work with him on Eight Is Enough," she captioned an Instagram gallery of photos. She also called him, "so sweet, funny, fresh and natural. He brought a lot of joy to all of us on the show and to our audiences."

Buckley said she and Adam had "remained friends all of these years," and called his death a "shock."

"Sending my love and deepest condolences to his friends and family," she wrote. "In recent years Adam dedicated himself to providing inspiration for others with mental and emotional illness. I will miss him greatly πŸ’”"
Rich died on Sunday at the age of 54. A cause of death has not been revealed, though case notes from the Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office confirm that Rich died in his home and indicate that further investigation is needed to determine an official cause of death.

A law enforcement source ruled out foul play in conversation with TMZ, who was first to report Rich's death.
In addition to his time on Eight Is Enough, Rich also appeared ABC's Code Red in 1981 and 1983's Dungeons & Dragons, in which he voiced teenage wizard Presto the Magician.

Don Cheadle says Marvel gave him 2 hours to agree to a 6-movie deal
"Iron Man," which kicked off the Marvel Cinematic Universe way back in 2008, starred Terrence Howard as Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) best friend and confidant, Lt. James Rhodes. But when Marvel Studios offered Howard only $1 million to return for the sequel, the actor chose not to return; he later claimed that Downey Jr. took his paycheck.

Thankfully, Marvel found a solid replacement for the star: Don Cheadle. The "Ocean's Eleven" and "Hotel Rwanda" actor has played Rhodey (aka War Machine) in seven movies and appeared in two Disney+ shows: "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier," and "What If…?"

But speaking to GQ recently about his career, Cheadle said the studio gave him only two hours to agree to a six-picture deal ahead of "Iron Man 2."

The actor recalled that he was at a birthday party for one of his children when the call came through.
"I was at my kid's laser-tag birthday party," he said. "They called me and said: 'This is what's happening. We're giving you the offer. If you don't say yes, we're going to the next person. This has to be — this is going to happen very fast.' So they said, 'Why don't you go ahead and take an hour and decide if you want to do it?'"

The actor said he wasn't told much about which projects he'd be in aside from a few "Avengers" movies. He recalled Marvel telling him, "This is what it is, so you kind of have to say yes or no."

He said the studio also didn't tell him what he could expect from War Machine's arc in the MCU, saying only, "We don't know any of that, but this is what it is, so you've got an hour."

Cheadle said he talked through the offer while playing laser tag before accepting. "We played laser tag for two hours, and I was talking to my wife, and we just kind of thought about it and talked to my agent and tried to get as much information as we could," he said.
Though Rhodey is a full-fledged Avenger, he's always been Iron Man's sidekick — but he's soon set to lead his own movie, "Armor Wars," in 2024.

The star also teased what to expect from the movie. "In every successive film, he's coming more and more out of Tony's shadow and becoming his own person," Cheadle said. "But I still think we haven't really figured out who he is and really dug into that. So that's what the movie is for."

Reebok Honors the Divine Nine With New ‘Yard Love’ Collection
Reebok is continuing its pledge to stand “United Against Racism” and is honoring Black greek organizations with  a new capsule collection, “Yard Love.”

The new hoodie and t-shirt capsule honors the divine nine and will come in the colorways used by the historic sororities and fraternities: pink/green, crimson/cream, black/gold, blue/white, blue/gold, crown/gold, purple/gold.

According to a press release by Reebok, the collection was built to shine a light on the important work of these organizations and to pay homage to those who fought against racial isolation and racial barriers on predominately white college campuses through the founding of these groups at the start of the 20th century.
