#MAGFAB: Ciara for Sports Illustrated - Swimsuit Issue 2022

Ciara is about to “Level Up” her swimsuit game.

The singer, 36, is joining the likes of Kim Kardashian, Maye Musk and Yumi Nu as a cover model for the 2022 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Posing in a sexy leopard print one-piece by LaQuan Smith and a cowboy hat, the mom of three looks confident in the water on her cover shot, as photographed by Ben Watts in Barbados.

In another photo, the “1, 2, Step” singer rocks a distressed denim two-piece as she kneels in the island sand.

Describing the moment she got the call to be on the cover as “a special day,” Ciara told the publication she had “always dreamt of being on this cover, ever since I was really young,” citing Tyra Banks’ famous covers as inspiration.

“It’s always been pretty significant in the entertainment space,” she said. “So it’s a big dream come true for me.”

The star is fresh off her Met Gala 2022 appearance when she wore a sparkling black-and-silver Michael Kors gown complete with 40-inch hair extensions to the glamorous event.

Back in March, Ciara twinned in orange with her family when husband Russell Wilson was traded to the Denver Broncos, and the NFL player was quick to share his excitement for Ciara’s SI cover, calling his wife “a ray of light.”

“She tilts rooms when she walks into them; it really seems like all the furniture just slides her way,” he told the magazine.

“As you can probably tell, I’m incredibly proud of my wife,” Wilson said, adding she will “use the visibility that comes with being on the cover to inspire even more people.”

Ciara and kids Sienna, Future and Win joined quarterback Wilson to celebrate his trade to the Denver Broncos.

It was a very orange family event when Ciara and kids Sienna, Future and Win joined quarterback

The couple knows plenty about inspiration; the duo runs the Why Not You Foundation, a nonprofit that enables young people to access education and health programs to empower them to change the future.

“I always say I’m a woman of ambition on a mission,” Ciara told Sports Illustrated. “I’m going to go after what I want and believe I can get it.”

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Gets Emotional About How ‘DWTS’ Helped Her Get Out of a Dark Place

Fans were devastated when “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” star Kenya Moore was eliminated from the dancing competition series “Dancing with the Stars” during the “Horror Night” episode. The reality star was crushed, but during a recent appearance on “The Real,” Moore revealed how that experience came just in time and helped her during one of her darkest moments.

While reflecting on her time on the show, co-host Loni Love asked the 51-year-old if she felt out of her element considering the work she’s done for her show on Bravo. Moore admitted that she initially felt out of place “because they were all pros and a lot of the contestants, the celebrities, they had pro experience, and I was just this girl from Detroit who took free classes at the community center.”

However, the former MISS USA 1993 winner said, “after I got the call to do the show, I was so elated,” before adding that the opportunity “came right on time because I was so down on myself.”

The mother of one said at the time she was going through a tough divorce from Marc Daly that had played out in the headlines as well as dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic and “just trying to figure out how to be a single mom; how to take care of my business.”

Loni highlighted that fans got to see another side of Moore, outside of her “RHOA” persona, to which the star agreed, adding, “I felt free, like, this is who I am. I’m just going to take off all the layers and let people see who I am, and it was just so liberating, and it felt so good being there.”

Loni could sense Moore getting overpowered by her feelings, and invited the star to share. At first, she was hesitant, seemingly for fear she’d cry but eventually, Moore gave in to her emotions, revealing that being on the show “was just a great experience” as she held back tears.

As previously reported, Moore and Daly are parting ways after four years of marriage. The former couple married on June 10, 2017, welcomed their daughter in 2018, and separated in September 2019. The former couple attempted to reconcile, but ultimately split for good in 2021.

She continued about the dance competition show, “You know, it just took me out of this really dark place, and it just made me feel alive again, like valuable again, where people can see me because I wasn’t seen in my marriage, and I had this wonderful partner who just made me feel great to just be there every day.”

Brown also hinted at tour in support of this new album. “Tour announcement coming soon…Me and [side eye emoji]….Finna f*ck the summer up [red heart emoji],” Brown shared on Instagram stories this past March. #HipHopNews: Scarface To Perform Classic Songs For Final Time On Farewell Tour

After almost 40 years in the game, Scarface is ready to bow out. On Tuesday (May 17), the Houston rap legend announced the aptly-titled Farewell Tour, a 32-city swan song that will bring the gospel of Brad Jordan to the American people for the very last time this summer.

The nationwide trek kicks off in Oakland, California on July 8 and wraps up in Odessa, Texas on August 27, with stops in cities including Los Angeles, Seattle, Washington, D.C., New York and Dallas along the way. ‘Face’s set at LL COOL J’s Rock The Bells Festival on August 6 falls on the 20th anniversary of his acclaimed 2002 album The Fix.

Scarface will be joined on the road by his band, Formaldehyde Funkmen, to help bring classic hits such as “My Block,” “Guess Who’s Back” and Geto Boys’ “Mind Playing Tricks on Me” to life for the final time. Fans who sign up to his special VIP meet and greet will get to hang out and take photos with ‘Face before the show, along with receiving a limited edition “Face Mob” commemorative baseball jersey

Since emerging as part of the Geto Boys in the late 1980s, Scarface has made an indelible mark on Hip Hop. A master storyteller, he helped pioneer the rise of Southern rap and provided the blueprint for rapping about mental health and internal struggles while influencing generations of MCs — from JAY-Z, Nas and The Notorious B.I.G. to UGK, Killer Mike and Isaiah Rashad.

In recent years, though, the 51-year-old’s health has suffered. In 2020, he endured a brutal battle with COVID-19 that resulted in organ failure and over a year of dialysis treatment. ‘Face received a kidney transplant from his son, Chris, last September and has been recovering well, but needless to say the entire process has taken its toll.

Scarface delivered what he thought was his final ever show at a sold-out House of Blues in Houston last November, but it appears he wasn’t quite ready to say goodbye and wanted to take the show on the road for one last victory lap. This may not be the end of Scarface’s music career just yet, though.

“I’m done with the rap,” he told Houstonia magazine ahead of his aforementioned House of Blues concert. “If I could, I would love to go into a different lane of music. Maybe blues or rock. Maybe alternative. I want to do something different now.”

Tickets for Scarface’s Farewell Tour go on sale on Wednesday (May 18).

ABC Is Open To Having Chris Rock Host The Oscars For A Second Time

After a memorable ceremony this year, ABC president Craig Erwich has opened the door to Chris Rock being a potential host for next year’s Academy Awards ceremony. Erwich told sources that despite Will Smith slapping  Chris Rock, he thought it was a “really successful year for the show.” He explained,

“My assessment of the Oscars was that it was really a successful year for the show. Obviously there was a lot of controversy, which overshadowed a lot of the positive things about the show, but I was really happy with the program. Even before that very unfortunate moment, the show started off up year over year, and we came back in a big way.”

Erwhich also told sources that he’s open to Chris Rock hosting the 2023 ceremony. It would be one way to address the controversial topic head-on, and get it out of the way, so the focus could return to the nominees and not the scandalous moment that shocked the world.

As previously reported, at this year’s Oscars ceremony, Chris Rock was slapped in the face by Oscar winning actor Will Smith over a G.I. Jane joke, made at Will’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith’s expense.

Despite the controversial moment, this years Oscars appeared to be a success! The ceremony which was hosted by Wanda Sykes, Amy Schumer and Regina Hall, was reportedly up nearly 60% in audience and 73% in the key demo in comparison to last years  hostless 2021 Oscars, capturing 16.6M viewers.

While Craig Erwich regrets what happened with Will Smith and Chris Rock, he thinks the Oscars is on a positive upswing that he hopes continues next year:

“It was the biggest bounce back of any award show this season. If you look at what they were trying to do, which is really bring entertainment back to the program, they had three amazing hosts, clips, and incredible musical performances, I thought it was a great way for the show to reclaim its place on the mantle. There’s always things to learn and we’ll endeavor to do even better next year.”

Chris Rock hosted the Oscars in 2016, making him one of the most memorable host to ever grace the stage. Between his jaw dropping  jokes, witty banter,  and addressing the controversial “Oscars So White” firestorm, he definitely set the bar high for future host.

Kris Jenner’s former bodyguard claims momager is ‘TOXIC’ and ‘addicted’ to fame in scathing tell-all interview

KRIS Jenner's former bodyguard has claimed she's "toxic" and "addicted" to fame in a scathing interview.

Mark Behar claimed the momager, 66, enjoys the "horror" stories that her family creates as it increases their publicity.

"Kris has ruined so many athletes’ lives. Look at Lamar [Odom], she ruined his life and she nearly destroyed Scott [Disick].”

Khloe was married to Lamar from 2009 until 2016 and Kourtney has three kids with Scott, her on and off ex of 10 years.

Mark claimed Kris and her daughters are happy to cut people out of their lives after "using" them.

“You’ve got to understand that with this family, that if your fame goes down they don’t have a story,” the New York native said.

“Kris is addicted to fame and the horror stories keep them going. They go after people they use to make them bigger stars.”

In the past, the Kardashians have ousted Jordyn Woods and Larsa Pippen from their inner circle.

Mark said the only Kardashian he likes is Kourtney because she "doesn't have drama".

LOSING HER VOICE? Kim Kardashian accused of changing her VOICE to sound more like Pete

He said: “She’s always been fine. She looks good, she presents herself good, she dresses good, doesn’t wear a whole ton of makeup.”

Kris has been slammed for her treatment of her staff in the past.

OUTRAGEOUS TREATMENT

Last week, the Kardashian matriarch faced backlash for her behavior towards her personal chef.

In an episode of The Kardashians, Kendall went to visit Kris at her $20million mansion.

Kris asked if the model, 26, wanted a snack and yelled "chef!" to call him over.

Viewers were horrified at her "entitled" behavior and for not addressing the chef by saying, "please" or "thank you".

DIVA MOMAGER

Meanwhile, last summer Kris was caught telling camera crew to "shut up" during an interview at the Kylie Cosmetics office.

In the tongue-in-cheek opener for the Inside Kylie Cosmetics: Part 2 video, Kris strutted into the offices wearing a white trouser suit.

As the cameras rolled, she was asked: "So, who are you?"

Without skipping a beat, Kris replied: "Kris F***ing Jenner."

Travis Scott gives $1M in scholarships to 100 HBCU students

Travis Scott’s Cactus Jack Foundation has awarded $1 million in scholarships to 100 students at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs) this year. The foundation announced on Tuesday that the money was given to graduating seniors to help ensure they graduate in 2022.

The scholarships were part of Scott’s Project HEAL effort that he announced in March. Part of the multi-million dollar initiative went to a pledge to increase his previous year’s donations, which the foundation achieved tenfold.

With Scott’s support, the Waymon Webster Scholarship Fund provided HBCU students with $10,000 in grants. The scholarship was designed to award students with a 3.5 GPA or higher an opportunity to graduate on time after enduring financial hardships in their final semester. The scholarship was named after Scott’s grandfather, Waymon Webster, an HBCU alum and educator at Prairie View A&M University.

“Excellence abounds in every Black household, but too often opportunity does not – and Black students are left behind or counted out. So that’s what my family and I set out to change,” Scott said in a statement. “We congratulate all 100 scholarship recipients this year. I know we will see great things from them – and we are already looking forward to increasing our work next year.”

Thanks to the scholarship pledges, 100 seniors, divided among 38 HBCUs, were able to finish the year out with a degree in hand in 2022. Among the colleges whose students received grants from Cactus Jack Foundation are Alabama A&M University, Central State University, Florida A&M University, Jackson State University, Morehouse College, Texas Southern University, Grambling State University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and Prairie View A&M University.

Florida A&M University student Nisha Encarnacion, a native of St. Croix, was able to receive her degree in pharmacy, all while supporting her mother and her daughter. She sent a “thank you” video to the foundation.

Marc Morial, president and CEO of the National Urban League, commended the Grammy-winning rapper and his foundation for their dedication to helping HBCU seniors.

“Black students are less than half as likely to graduate from college as white students, and financial pressure is the primary reason,” Morial said in a statement. “We applaud Travis Scott and the Cactus Jack Foundation for investing in the next generation and congratulate the 100 Waymon Webster Scholarship recipients on their graduation.”

Sarah Jessica Parker Hasn't Spoken to SATC Costar Chris Noth Since Sexual Assault Allegations

Sarah Jessica Parker is opening up about where her relationship with Chris Noth stands five months after the actor was accused of sexually assaulting multiple women.

via People:

While speaking with The Hollywood Reporter in a joint interview with husband Matthew Broderick published Tuesday, the 57-year-old And Just Like That… actress — who also serves as a producer on the Sex and the City revival — briefly addressed the allegations against her former onscreen husband.

“I don’t even know if I’m ready to talk about it, but I don’t think … I wasn’t reacting as a producer,” Parker said, adding, “I should have worked on this because I’m just … it’s just …”

When asked if she’s spoken to the 67-year-old Good Wife alum, Parker simply replied, “No.”

Shortly after multiple women came forward in December with allegations that Noth had sexually assaulted them, Parker and her AJLT costars, Cynthia Nixon and Kristin Davis, broke their silence in a joint statement posted to Instagram.

“We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth,” read the statement. “We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences. We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

The first two allegations against Noth appeared in a story by The Hollywood Reporter in December. Both women shared similar accounts of how he allegedly sexually assaulted them, but Noth — who has been married to Tara Wilson since 2012 — denied the claims. He said both interactions were “consensual.”

“The accusations against me made by individuals I met years, even decades, ago are categorically false,” he said in a previous statement. “These stories could’ve been from 30 years ago or 30 days ago — no always means no — that is a line I did not cross. It’s difficult not to question the timing of these stories coming out. I don’t know for certain why they are surfacing now, but I do know this: I did not assault these women.”

When a third woman accused him of sexual assault in a Daily Beast report, Noth, again, denied the situation occurred.

“The story is a complete fabrication, and the alleged accounts detailed throughout read like a piece of bad fiction,” a rep for Noth told PEOPLE in December. “As Chris stated yesterday, he has and would never cross that line.”

Sarah is smart to stay FAR away from Chris Noth and any conversations pertaining to his character.

Congressman Madison Cawthorn Speaks Out After Losing Bid for Re-Election

Rep. Madison Cawthorn has conceded his race in the GOP primary for North Carolina’s 11th District.

The 26-year-old Congressman – who was backed by former President Donald Trump – lost his bid for re-election to opponent Chuck Edwards on Tuesday (May 17).

Shortly after calling Edwards to concede, Rep. Cawthorn released a statement about his lose.

“Congratulations to @ChuckEdwards4NC on securing the nomination tonight,” Rep. Cawthorn tweeted. “It’s time for the NC-11 GOP to rally behind the Republican ticket to defeat the Democrats’ nominee this November.”

A member of the Republican Party, Rep. Cawthorn made history when he became the youngest member elected to Congress back in 2020.

Over the past several weeks, Rep. Cawthorn has found himself involved in a lot of online controversies.

During an interview on the Warrior Poet Podcast from April, Rep. Cawthorn made comments about alleged orgies and drug use among his Washington, D.C. colleagues.

Then a photo of him wearing women’s lingerie leaked online, followed by a video of Rep. Cawthorn naked and thrusting his genitals into another man’s face, before a video of one of his male staffers touching his crotch was also leaked.

NYC to give the Notorious B.I.G. a massive tribute for late rapper's 50th birthday

This Saturday (May 21), the city of New York will honor the Notorious B.I.G. in a major way for what would have been the late rapper’s 50th birthday.

With celebrations no doubt happening throughout the city, the biggest is sure to be that the iconic Empire State Building located in Manhattan will light up in red and white to pay homage to one of the greatest rappers to ever touch a mic.

An illuminated crown will also spin around the building’s mast, reminding everyone that Biggie — whose real name is Christopher Wallace — is and forever will be the “King of New York.”

The Brooklyn rapper would be proud to know that right in the very borough that he grew up in, the Barclays Center will show video montages including Biggie’s hottest songs on the enormous display area above the arena’s entrance.

The tributes for the fallen star don’t stop there — the Metropolitan Transportation Authority has announced that they will have a special edition MetroCard with Biggie’s likeness. The MetroCard will be available for transit users (or fans who simply want to snag some cool memorabilia) at the Lafayette Avenue, Clinton – Washington Ave. and Atlantic Ave. – Barclays Center stations. The three locations are near the “Sky’s the Limit” rapper’s former Bedford-Stuyvesant neighborhood.

Amazon Music is also giving fans a special QR code that can be used at the Clinton – Washington Ave. station. The scan will unlock an Instagram filter honoring the “Mo Money Mo Problems” rapper’s legacy.

On Friday (May 20), the late rapper’s mother Voletta Wallace and children CJ and T’yanna Wallace will be present at a special ceremony at the Empire State Building. Other family members and notable figures in the hip hop community are also expected to attend.

The legendary rapper was just 24 when he was shot and killed on March 9, 1997.

Brandy responds to Jack Harlow interview: "I didn't know he rapped"

Hip Hop newcomer Jack Harlow left Black people stunned when he couldn’t identify one of the most iconic R&B voices in modern history.

During a visit with New York’s Hot 97 radio station, the hosts thought it would be fun to test his knowledge of music. As they cued up an easily recognizable “Angel in Disguise” by Brandy, the rapper could not figure out what it was. He even incorrectly guessed Aaliyah.

While Black Twitter immediately came for him, with responses like “Not recognizing Brandy’s voice is why he shouldn’t be doing Black music,” the singer never joined in on the topic — until now.

Last night (May 16), the “Angel in Disguise” hitmaker tweeted, “I will murk this dude in rap at 43 on his own beats and then sing his ass to sleep.”

One fan responded, “Not you sat on this for a few days and now deciding to reply after it died down. It’s not that deep.” Brandy saw the message and replied, “I know I’m mad late… but it was a joke. I didn’t know he rapped so I was just Poking, but I see now this was a big thing a few days ago.”

Another fan jokingly added that people should tread lightly when it comes to the singer by mentioning her 2019 hit single, “Full Moon.”

“Hello! Are ya’ll awake? This is not a drill. Brandy said ‘We can dance if you want. Get it cracking if you like,'” the user said.

After receiving comments from fans, Brandy must have felt that her response was a bit too harsh because the Vocal Bible followed up with, “See, I can have a little fun too hehe…. all love,” and included red heart emojis.

The 24-year-old Louisville, Kentucky rapper was born in 1998, the same year that the song that sparked the debate was released.

Andy Cohen apologizes after screaming 'Shut up!' during 'Housewives' reunion

Part 3 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion aired on Tuesday night, and per usual there was a lot of yelling. Executive producer Andy Cohen normally hosts the reunion specials, but apparently his vast experience in dealing with the cast has not fully conditioned him to the bickering.

Hostile confrontations are the name of the game when it comes to Housewives reunions, but sometimes it gets so chaotic that it is hard for the audience to follow. Cohen attempts to wrangle the cast and maintain order; however, even he sometimes tires of all the yelling. At the top of the show he stood up and yelled at Teresa Giudice and Margaret Josephs because they wouldn’t stop yelling at each other.

“Shut up!” Cohen yelled. “I got a dinner reservation, honestly.”

Later in the show, the two housewives were at it again and a furious Cohen gritted his teeth and screamed “Shut up!”

While some viewers were taken aback by Cohen’s reaction, the majority of fans on Twitter appreciated his candid response to the quarreling stars. That being said, he took a moment at the end to address the outburst.

“I want to apologize to all of you for screaming at you several times,” Cohen said. “Man, sometimes when I get with the Jersey girls, I turn into a Jersey girl.”

Cohen later discussed his outburst on Watch What Happens Live. He admitted that he “lost it.” That being said, he also took a poll and 96% of viewers thought he was in the right.

Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen airs Sunday to Thursday on Bravo.

Christopher Meloni Likes to 'Work Out Naked' at His Home Gym: 'And I Don't Black Out the Window'

Christopher Meloni hates it when people work out shirtless at public gyms — but when it comes to his home gym, the rules don't apply.

The Law & Order: Organized Crime star, 61, tells PEOPLE that when he's exercising at home, he goes nude.

"I work out naked. It's my gym," he said at the 2022 NBCUniversal Upfronts in New York City on Monday, explaining that there he "can do whatever I want."

"And I don't black out the window," he adds. "And I'm okay with that. My wife is not."

Meloni says that he'll work out with his wife, Sherman, but he prefers to have that time to himself.

"We'll hit the gym, but you know, I'm not to be spoken to," he jokes. "It's like interrupting a monk when he's in the middle of his monk-ing."

Adding that he's "very serious" in the gym, Meloni says that he's the type to wear the big headphones to block out any outside noise, and would rather be at his trainer's gym rather than a group one, where he'll just get frustrated with the other exercisers and their bad habits.

"People don't put the weights away, and I'm OCD," he says. "I'm like, how hard is it [to put them away]?"

Meloni says that he'll start putting the weights away for other people "the whole time."

"I'm like, you're outta your f---ing mind," he says, and sometimes calls those people out.

"I've walked out" of the gym, he says.

The Wet Hot American Summer star's physique has been a hot topic the past year after social media went crazy over a photo of his perfectly rounded butt. Meloni joked to Men's Health in September that his "ass" is having a cultural moment.

"I catch flies with my ass cheeks, like a Venus flytrap." Meloni joked to the outlet. "I'm clever with my ass cheeks!"

To keep that butt (and the rest of his body) in shape, Meloni will spend 80 minutes doing box jumps, pullups and a move he calls "the saw" — all of which he considers a light workout.

But to Meloni, exercising is "therapy, church, meditation, and a kind of personal reengagement where the brain and the body get to talk to one another."

Tops Assistant Manager Says 911 Dispatcher Hung Up On Her During Mass Shooting Because She Was Whispering

The assistant manager at the Tops location in Buffalo is reflecting on some of the moments during the tragic mass shooting at the supermarket where 10 people were killed. The assistant manager, whose name is Latisha was working during the shooting and says when she contacted 911 and the dispatcher hung up on her because she was whispering.

heard gunshots. “I waited for him to stop and he just wouldn’t stop. So I tried to call 911 and I was whispering because I would hear him close by and when I whispered on the phone to 911, the dispatcher started yelling at me saying why are you whispering? You don’t have to whisper. And I’m trying to tell her like mam he’s in the store. He’s shooting he’s an active shooter, I’m scared for my life. And she said something crazy to me and then she hung up in my face. Then I had to call my boyfriend to tell him to call 911.”

“I can’t sleep. I can eat a little bit, but I just keep hearing gunshots and just seeing the bodies,” the assistant manager said. She had reportedly been working with Tops for over a decade but spent the last three years at that Buffalo location.

As of right now, Latisha is saying she can’t even imagine returning to work after the terrifying incident. “I know a lot of the regulars,” Latisha said. “I know a lot of residents that come in there. I’ve been here for three years. That store is very important to that community. I didn’t realize how important it was until I started working there. They love that store. That is just a traumatic experience to have in that community like that.”

Meanwhile, that dispatcher’s name has not been made public and if Latisha’s story is true, it is uncertain if the Buffalo police will address the matter.

Alec Baldwin’s ‘Rust’ Movie Expected To Resume Production Months After Cinematographer’s Tragic Death

Alec Baldwin’s Rust movie, which halted production in October following the death of its cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, is expected to continue filming, with a producer saying he’s confident the motion picture will be completed. Halyna was tragically killed in New Mexico after a prop gun that Alec was holding was accidentally discharged while the actor rehearsed a scene. Though the mother-of-one was rushed to a nearby hospital, she had succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead shortly after.

The film industry was stunned by the incident, particularly since Alec had been given a fully loaded gun instead of handing him an actual prop. An investigation concerning Halyna’s death is still ongoing, but from what Anjul Nigam — a producer on the film — has said in a new interview, Rust is expected to carry on with production in due time, with clear expectations that the movie will certainly be completed in the near future.

Speaking to The Hollywood Reporter, Anjul explained, “Rust is obviously a horrific tragedy. The investigation will hopefully be resolved soon and will unveil what happened. Obviously, there will be people out there who will have negative perspectives, but we’re confident about continuing to make quality movies. We’re confident we’ll be able to complete the movie.” His comment comes shortly after the New Mexico Environment Department claimed that execs overseeing Rust’s production had violated safety protocols on set — an allegation which producers are strongly denying.

New Mexico’s environment cabinet secretary James Kenney stated the fine they had charged Rust Movie Productions in the amount of $136,793 — the maximum civil penalty allowed by state law.

“Our investigation found that this tragic incident never would have happened if Rust Movie Productions, LLC had followed national film industry standards for firearm safety,” James expressed. “This is a complete failure of the employer to follow recognized national protocols that keep employees safe.”

Alec’s attorneys trailed with a statement of their own soon after, saying they appreciated that their client had been exonerated in the lengthy investigation to back up their argument that the actor can’t be held accountable for the incident since he was not aware of the gun was loaded, to begin with. “We are grateful to the New Mexico occupational health and safety bureau for investigating this matter,” they said. “We appreciate that the report exonerates Mr Baldwin by making clear that he believed the gun held only dummy rounds.”

Meanwhile, in March, Alec and his wife, Hilaria Baldwin, announced the news that they were expecting their seventh baby together in a doting video posted to the lifestyle guru’s social media page. Then, in May, the expectant mom revealed that the gender of their forthcoming arrival was a girl.

Sha’Carri Richardson Speaks Out About Abusive Relationship with Jamaican Athlete

*Olympic sprinter Sha’Carri Richardson says she is “healing” after breaking up with a female hurdler from Jamaica.

Richardson, 22, has revealed on social media that she was in a relationship with the abusive unnamed athlete, whose family didn’t approve of their same-sex union.

“I was in a relationship with a Jamaican athlete that never cared about me from jump,” she wrote in a post on social media.

“I was abused and stole from yet protected her from the judgment of her country & family while they dragged me. I had to deal with homophobic [sic] and so much more that I’m still healing from,” Richardson added.

Sha’Carri first revealed her sexuality last year after her victory in the U.S. Olympic trials. At the time, she credited her then-girlfriend with helping pick her bright orange wig — see photo below.

“She said it just spoke to her, the fact that it was just so loud and vibrant,” Richardson said of her hair color in an interview with USA Today. “She felt like [orange] was loud and encouraging and, honestly, dangerous… That’s who I am. She just wanted me to be able to make a statement — let’s continue to show the world I’m a force to be reckoned with.”

The name/identity of Richardson’s girlfriend has not been revealed for her safety.

NYC Model Takes Legal Action After Wrongly Committed to Psych Ward

*A New York City model is taking legal action after she was wrongly committed to a psychiatric ward, stripped naked, and drugged.

Abeba Davis, 39, says she visited the emergency room at Queens the Hospital Center in January 2021 to obtain medication for her treatment following a sexual assault.

When she reported the attack to the NYPD and filed charges, the department assigned her to the social worker. As reported by Daily Mail, after speaking with the social worker at the hospital, Davis was escorted by staffers to the facility’s psych ward, made to take her clothes off, given unknown pills, and ultimately committed for at least 10 hours.

“I’m begging. ”Please, I’m not crazy.” And they’re like, ”Yeah, yeah,” because the person next to me is also saying they’re not crazy,” Davis told the New York Daily News.

“No one hears me, I was just like nothing to them. I was just a naked black girl sitting in the corner begging to get out saying, ”I’m not crazy. I’m not crazy.”’

Davis said there was no discussion with the social worker about a mental health evaluation. “She didn’t say anything about me getting a psychiatric evaluation,” said Davis.

Once staff brought her to the psych ward, Davis said her personal belongings were confiscated and a security guard blocked the door to the exit.

Davis said she was transferred to a room and “surrounded by mental patients.”

Per Revolt, a doctor reportedly wrote in their notes, “Patient has no mood or psychotic symptoms, denies suicidal/homicidal ideations” and also noted that the “Patient has fair insight and judgment.”

When her social worker returned several hours later, the woman apologized and said that they made a mistake. Davis was released the same day.

Davis said the event left her so traumatized that she had to move to Florida. She has since filed a lawsuit with Queens Supreme Court against the hospital.

“It’s that worst nightmare where you know the more you try to get the attention of the orderlies to tell them you’re not crazy, the more that you are playing into the narrative for an orderly that you should be there,” Davis’s attorney, William Igbokwe, said.

Keyshia Cole Responds to Backlash Following Offensive Comments From Antonio Brown

R&B singer Keyshia Cole has been trending on Twitter following allegations and back and forth between her and former NFL star Antonio Brown.

We first saw the two cozied up for Brown’s music video “Don’t leave” but dating speculations really began to heighten after Keyshia Cole posted on her IG, “I miss him” and “Missing him a lot” with pictures of the two together.

Brown then posted a video of what appeared to be Keyshia Cole with a lower back tattoo of the initials AB with the caption that reads, “You ain’t pimpin ‘until you hit an r&b diva.”

Keyshia can be seen in the comments of the reposted video stating, “This the second time you posted this ab but the captions changed don’t be mad at me no more babe, I said I apologize.”

AB has since gone live with his own comeback, stating, “Keyshia I’m a player, like we don’t want you keyshia, stay out my s*hit, you heard?”

Fans took to Twitter to share their thoughts.

One tweeter said, “Keyshia Cole egged Bow Wow’s car, then beat a bitch up over birdman and now got AB tatted on her (sad emoji).

Another user said, “Keyshia Cole really be forgetting that she’s Keyshia Cole and I hate that for her.”

Another person said, “Yall forgot keyshia cole just lost her mom, adopted father and her long time dog, tragically. Every decision ain’t gonna be like yours. Show her some compassion. Damn!

Keyshia went live in an attempt to explain her decisions and recent relationship speculations.

“When I said the other day, two days ago that I miss a certain someone and then a certain someone said a certain thing, that kind of was just everywhere.” She continued, stating “I did not expect him to say what he had said. Now that he said what he said it’s obvious that that’s the stance on things and I have to accept that. It’s a little hard for me especially right now with so much loss and so much going on. Now I’m losing this too? When you like somebody, you like somebody,” said Keyshia.

Woman Refuses To Leave Flight After Allegedly Making Racist And Homophobic Remarks

A couple who allegedly hurled racist and homophobic slurs while on a flight is going viral after the incident was recorded o “Couple yelling racist & homophobic slurs wouldn’t deboard plane today leaving West Palm Beach. A free show to all on board” is the name of the video that TikTok user Charolotte Dalessio posted on the platform. In the video, viewers can see a white couple talking to what appears to be a flight attendant or some form of a flight security officer.

“You don’t like the words coming out of my mouth,” the woman says to the flight attendant. As the attendant tries to speak, the woman talks over him, saying, “Free speech is dead.” The flight attendant then reiterates that the couple will be “coming off” the flight,” to which she replies with a head shake and “no, we’re not coming off.”

“Then you’re going to have to take everyone off,” the woman says as the flight attendant seemingly goes to get airport security.

“This is ridiculous. You guys see what’s happening in America? You didn’t like what he said, and now we’re getting kicked off a plane,” the woman said to a man next the couple on the plane.

Throughout the situation, the woman can be heard yelling out random comments like “You guys, we’re going to turn into China” and explaining her admiration of Elon Musk, who has recently been outspoken about the right to freedom of speech. She even told the passenger that she was going to sue him for calling them out for their alleged racist and homophobic remarks. She also claimed that they were being removed from the flight because they were Trump supporters and mentioned that they aren’t getting that “f***in’ vaccine.”

Relatives of Buffalo Shooter Blames COVID-19 Isolation for Massacre

Oh heck nah! Relatives of the Buffalo supermarket shooter are using COVID as a reason for the massacre. They told The Post on Monday that 18-year-old Payton Gendron likely snapped because he was paranoid and had been isolated due to the pandemic.

Like is it hard for people to believe everything isn’t a mental illness? Sometimes it’s just RACISM.

They also said that they had no clue that he was an alleged white supremacist but did say he clearly needed help after threatening his high school classmates more than a year ago.

They don’t know if he ever received help.

“I have no idea how he could have gotten caught up in this. I blame it on COVID,’’ said Sandra Komoroff, 68, who is a cousin of Gendron’s mom, Pamela, when referring to the teen’s alleged hate-fueled rampage that took the lives of 10 black people at a Tops Friendly Market on Saturday.

“He was very paranoid about getting COVID, extremely paranoid, to the point that — his friends were saying — he would wear the hazmat suit [to school],” she added.

“And then he got COVID just a few weeks ago. … He went to family functions with a respirator mask on. He totally wasn’t going to get COVID — and then he got COVID.”

“They were vaxxed to the max,” she added in regards to the family. “I don’t know if it was a bad case, I just know he caught it.”

Apparently, Gendron had “bought into the fear of COVID.”

“That’s the only way to say it. And when you’re home all day on the internet, you’re missing out on human contact,” Sandra said. “There’s a lot of emotions and a lot of body language you’re not getting [as] when you see their face.”

Her husband, Dave Komoroff, 68, also addressed the matter, saying, “In theory, [COVID] could have affected what they call the lizard brain — the part of the brain that controls aggression.

“I can’t say it’s impossible, but maybe that would happen one out of so many millions of times.”

Before Saturday’s massacres, Gendron had allegedly written a 180-page white supremacist manifesto that rambled on about his racist philosophy and also outlined his step-by-step plans for the slaughter, law enforcement sources have said.

The chilling document also detailed how he’d become “radicalized” online because of “extreme boredom” amid the early days of the pandemic, the New York Post reported.

The Komoroffs denied knowing anything about Gendron’s horrific racist thinking, with Dave adding, “He’s very smart.

“I don’t know where he went online — the dark web, or wherever — but apparently he got into some nasty stuff. He’s smart enough to get into dangerous stuff online, which may be the average person wouldn’t know how to get into.

“I mean, I’m trying to figure it out myself.”

When asked about his threats at his school in June 2021 — when Gendron was asked about his future plans and said that he wanted to commit a slay-suicide — Dave responded, “My question is, and I don’t know the answer either, but did they do something?”

“The parents are well-to-do. Did they put him in some kind of therapy? Because when they get the civil lawsuit, that’s what’s going to come out. Someone’s gonna ask, ‘What did you do last year after this incident?’ They’ll ask the parents, ‘What did you do? What did you do to help this kid?’

“The parents are both college-educated. They’re intelligent. They’re engineers. They’re not hill people. ‘Did you think he needed any help?’ ”

At the time, State Police took him to the hospital for a psych evaluation but he was released a day and a half later.

“There should have been lightbulbs going off,’’ Sandra said. “This kid should have been in some kind of empathy training that teaches these are human beings.”

Other than that, the teen and his family checked all the boxes of “what you would consider normal,” they added.

“It is a good family, a very good family. It’s unconscionable to me what happened. They’re very average people, God-fearing,” Sandra said.

“I don’t understand the racist thing, because my family is the farthest thing from racist. I’ve never heard a racist comment from him, from his parents. It’s almost like he just snapped. Something in him broke.

“The whole family is in shock.”
