#FASHIONFILES: Hot or NOT? Zendaya in Vintage Valentino at HBO’s “Euphoria” Season 2

After closing out 2021 with a string of highly theatrical promotional looks for the Spider-Man: No Way Home holiday promo tour, Miss Zendaya is kicking off the new year with the kind of focus-pulling red carpet look we’ve come to expect from her. And she’s showing once again just how savvy she and her stylist can be about when to go big and how to go big.

She opted for old-school glamour with a vintage vibe. HBO mounted a very low-key and sparsely attended red carpet for the premiere of the new season of Euphoria (cast only, one photographer, pretty much no one else in attendance – more of a photo call posing as a red carpet, really). When you compare this look to what she was sporting just a few weeks ago on red carpets, it comes of extremely low-key, which seems like a fine route to go for a cable series season premiere (as opposed to Disney-sponsored Marvel blockbuster premiere). It underlines the slight seriousness of the role (for which she won

I love it! So for you is it Hot or Not?

“You treat me ice cold / I feel your flames / You let me sink, then sail / You give me heaven and hell / You threw me in jail, then you put up my bail,” Wray sings.

As Lady Wray’s new single “Joy & Pain” and other singles prove, Pieces of Me, out Jan. 28, via Big Crown Records, will be an album worth getting your hands on. She last released “Thank You” before closing last year.

#HipHopNews: Drake Flaunts Buff Body In Shirtless Selfie

Drake is back with another thirst trap. After sharing steamy photos from his trip to Turks and Caicos, the “Way 2 Sexy” rapper is heating up the ‘Gram with another series of pics, this time from his trip to Miami, including one shirtless selfie.

Champagne Papi showed off the results of his upper body workout while posing in the bathroom mirror of the Setai Hotel. He made sure to give fans a full view of his chiseled physique, with his sweatpants pulled down just enough to reveal his tatted torso.

In addition to his abs, Drake flaunted stacks of $100 bills in bags alongside pairs of Crocs. His IG slideshow also included a powder blue G-Wagon and pics of him partying with his OVO crew including Baka Not Nice and OVO Niko.

“There’s a point in the ‘fake it til you make it’ theory where you actually gotta make it…” he captioned the photo gallery.

His followers reacted accordingly. “I meaaaannn…. The photo dump of all photo dumps,” wrote Coco Robert, while DJ Carnage added, “You look insane.”

Drake has been enjoying the first week of 2022. Prior to Miami, he vacationed in Turks and Caicos and welcomed the new year on a yacht off the coast of St. Barts.

He was expected to appear on Gunna’s new album DS4EVER, but their collaboration “Pussy Power” was pulled at the last minute for unknown reasons.

Georgia Beats Alabama, Clinches National Championship Ending 41-Year Drought

INDIANAPOLIS - Georgia has ended its four-decade dough as National Champions after a tough defensive battle against Alabama on Monday. The Bulldogs beat the Crimson Tide 33-18.

The game was defined by two powerhouse defenses. No. 1 Alabama leads No. 3 Georgia 9-6 at halftime of the CFP championship game as each struggled to take it into the end zone.

The Crimson Tide lost top receiver Jameson Williams after he hurt his left knee in the first half at the end of a 40-yard catch. It was a non-contact injury. The All-American, a transfer from Ohio State, returned to the sideline in street clothes midway through the third quarter. He had four catches for 65 yards. Coach Nick Saban told ESPN at halftime that young receivers would have to step up.

"They've got talent. So they've got to play with competitive character and have a chance to make some plays. They're capable," Saban said. "They don't have the experience, but they're going to get it tonight."

Georgia coach Kirby Smart says his team needs to avoid mistakes on offense.

We've got to settle down," he said. "We haven't had probably one drive where we didn't have negative yards starting where we had to back up."

Georgia got an incredible break when Payton Bowles blocked an Alabama field goal attempt and took over possession

The game opened up from there with Georgia breaking the touchdown drought after five field goals between the two Southeastern Conference rivals. A 67-year-old run by James Cook set up Zamir White’s 1-yard score that put the Bulldogs ahead of Alabama 13-9 with 1:20 left in the third quarter.

Alabama was able to respond and regain the lead thanks to a nonchalant-looking fumble recovery and Bryce Young's short touchdown pass to Cameron Latu.

Young's 3-yard scoring pass gave the Crimson Tide an 18-13 lead with 10:14 left against Georgia. Young was tackled behind the line on a 2-point attempt.

The score was set up when Georgia quarterback Stetson Bennett lost the ball while Christian Harris was dragging him to the turf. Bennett was trying to throw the ball, but it appeared to come out before his arm moved forward and it was ruled a fumble on the field. Replay upheld the call.

Alabama safety Brian Branch almost casually collected the ball as he was headed out of bounds, getting one foot in bounds.

But the lead was short-lived. Stetson Bennett's 40-yard touchdown pass to Adonai Mitchell gave Georgia a 19-18 lead.

The Bulldogs responded with their most pass-happy drive of the game. Jermaine Burton had a 10-yard catch to open the drive before drawing a pass-interference penalty.

Bennett was sacked but answered quickly with the scoring pass to Mitchell, a freshman.

Georgia's James Cook was stopped on the 2-point run.

Georgia then ran away with it beating Alabama.

Robert Durst, Wealthy Killer At The Heart Of HBO's 'The Jinx,' Dead At 78

Robert Durst, the onetime New York real estate scion convicted of one murder and suspected of others, died Monday at age 78.

Durst died in Stockton, California, where he was serving a life sentence. His lawyer, Chip Lewis, told The New York Times that Durst went into cardiac arrest at a hospital near the prison and could not be revived.

He’d contracted COVID-19 and was briefly placed on a ventilator last year, contributing to his preexisting health problems.

“Mr. Durst passed away early this morning while in the custody of California’s Department of Corrections,” Lewis said in a statement. “We understand that his death was due to natural causes associated with a litany of medical issues we had repeatedly reported to the court over the last couple of years.”

Durst, who has been incarcerated since his 2015 arrest, is estranged from his family, which operates some of the most prestigious real estate in New York City.

His trial was delayed due to the pandemic, but Durst was ultimately convicted in September of shooting his friend Susan Berman in the back of the head in 2000 ― out of fear, prosecutors alleged, that she would give up information about his connection to the death of his first wife, Kathleen McCormack. He was sentenced to life in prison in October.

McCormack vanished in February 1982 after allegedly telling a friend she was afraid of Durst. She is presumed dead, although her remains have never been found. A grand jury indicted Durst in her death in November, but he died before he could be tried.

In the wake of McCormack’s disappearance, Berman had served as a spokesperson for Durst, a college friend of hers. However, she later fell on hard times.

In 2015, Durst was dramatically arrested in New Orleans ― with a latex face-and-shoulders mask and over $40,000 in cash ― for Berman’s shooting, just hours before the final episode of a documentary about him, “The Jinx,” aired on HBO.

During filming of “The Jinx,” Durst seemed to inadvertently admit to the killings. While off-camera, but in the presence of a microphone he didn’t know was recording, he muttered “Killed them all, of course.” Jurors heard part of the 2015 recording at his trial.

He was held without bail, having attempted to flee a murder charge in Texas more than a decade prior.

In 2003, Durst was tried for the murder of a neighbor, Morris Black. He claimed that Black’s gun had gone off while Durst was trying to defend himself, and admitted to dismembering Black’s body out of concern, he said, that authorities would not believe him. He was ultimately acquitted.

Durst had been under growing scrutiny for McCormack’s disappearance, with a New York prosecutor reportedly seeking his indictment. In their victim impact statements, several of Berman’s friends and family members implored Durst to tell McCormack’s family what he allegedly did with her body.

American Idol Runner-Up Clay Aiken Running For Congress

Former “American Idol” star Clay Aiken wants to represent North Carolina in Congress.

On Monday, Aiken announced that he is making a second bid for a congressional seat from North Carolina, this time seeking the Democratic nod in a more liberal district than eight years ago.

The Raleigh native previously ran for the U.S. House of representatives in 2014 and now plans to run this year in the Durham-centric House district that’s now open.

“As a loud and proud Democrat, I intend to use my voice to deliver real results for North Carolina families,” Aiken said on his website.

The 6th Congressional District also includes Chapel Hill and other Orange County communities currently represented by long-serving Rep. David E. Price, who announced in October that he would not seek reelection this year.

“The people in the Triangle gave me the platform that I have, and I wanna use it to give back to them,” Aiken told the News and Observer in a written statement. “I want to be a loud voice for the Triangle when I get to Congress, I will tell you that. And we need a big voice.”

Aiken explained that Price is responsible for getting him into politics. “One of my first experiences in politics and government was asking Congressmen Price to speak to my eighth-grade class — an invitation he graciously accepted,” Aiken shared on his website. “He is a legendary legislator who has delivered from the Triangle for over 30 years and leaves big shoes to fill. I’d be honored to take his place.”

Before Aiken won second place on American Idol in 2003, he was a special-education teacher. Since his involvement in the show, Aiken has released several albums, appeared on Broadway, hosted a Christmas special on Television, and served as a UNICEF ambassador.

In 2002, the singer was also a runner-up on “The Celebrity Apprentice,” the reality show hosted by Donald Trump.

During the 2016 presidential race, Aiken defended Trump against accusations of racism, citing his time on the show with him. After the deadly Unite the Right rally in Charlottesville the following year, Aiken apologized for defending Trump.

As a member of Congress, Aiken said that he would advocate “inclusions, income equality, free access to quality health care and combating climate change.”

“I also believe we need more civility in our politics, and North Carolina deserves representation in Washington who use their positions to make people’s lives better, not to advance polarizing positions that embarrass our state and stand in the way of real progress,” Aiken stated on his website.

The Democrat also claims that he will use his voice to secure voting rights, free health care, and a women’s right to choose.

The former singer is expected to face a competitive primary. According to the Washington Post, the Democrat who wins will be heavily favored in the general election

Miguel and Nazanin Mandi Vacation at Amangiri Together 4 Months After Separation

Are Miguel and Nazanin Mandi working things out?

via: AceShowbiz: More than three months after confirming their split, the “Sky Walker” crooner and his estranged wife sparked reconciliation rumors after they’re spotted vacationing together.

On Sunday, January 9, the “Dreamcatcher” actress shared on Instagram Story a video of her ex driving what appeared to be a golf cart. In the clip, the two were seen smiling and laughing together.

Nazanin went on to share a mirror selfie of her and Miguel. She also posted several other pictures from their trip in the middle of the desert on her Instagram feed. One photo saw her wearing a ring on that finger.

Fans have since assumed that the pair have rekindled their romance. One person in particular gushed, “Sooo happy to see the two of you together! You guys always keep it real, and it’s so appreciated #couplegoals.”

Another exclaimed, “Queen!!! sooo elated to see you & migs together again! I knew you’d find you way back to one another. I love you guys.” A third added, “Yesssssssssss! RING BACK ONNNN!” Someone else then chimed in, “Omg thank the heavens y’all passed the test! You’re better together! I love y’all!”

The getaway came after Nazanin and Miguel went public with their separation in September 2021. “After 17 years together, Miguel and Nazanin Mandi have decided to separate and have been for some time now,” their representative declared in a statement to PEOPLE. “The couple both wish each other well.”

Nazanin and Miguel first met when they were 18 years old back in 2005, long before he signed his first record deal and she began her modelling career. Nazanin once shared that she’d asked whether he had a girlfriend, to which he responded, “No, but I’m looking for one,” and the two traded numbers. “Ever since then, it’s been one hell of a ride,” she said.

Miguel and Nazanin then became an item and stayed together. The twosome, who dated for 10 years before getting engaged in 2016, tied the knot at the Hummingbird Nest Ranch in Simi Valley, California in November 2018.

We wish nothing but the best for the two.

Maya Angelou coins distributed by US Mint make her first Black woman to appear on quarters

U.S Mint announced it has begun shipping out the first quarters featuring trailblazing American women, beginning with poet, writer and activist Maya Angelou, the first Black woman to appear on the quarter.

Part of the American Women Quarters Program, the Angelou coin is one of four expected to be shipped this year through 2025. George Washington's likeness remain on one side, while the other will have the honored women. The women that will be featured include Wilma Mankiller, the Cherokee Nation’s first female principal chief, Anna May Wong, the first Chinese American Hollywood film star, Adelina Otero-Warren, a leader in New Mexico’s suffrage movement and Sally Ride, an astronaut and physicist who was the first American woman in space.

Angelou is depicted on the coin with her arms uplifted. Behind her are a bird and the rising sun, which are "inspired by her poetry and symbolic of the way she lived."

"It is my honor to present our Nation’s first circulating coins dedicated to celebrating American women and their contributions to American history," Mint Deputy Director Ventris C. Gibson said in a news release. "Each 2022 quarter is designed to reflect the breadth and depth of accomplishments being celebrated throughout this historic coin program. Maya Angelou, featured on the reverse of this first coin in the series, used words to inspire and uplift."

Could you trade a bobby pin for a house? Meet the TikTok star who did

The push for the coin program started in 2017, with the support of U.S. Rep. Barbara Lee, D-Calif. Lee drafted legislation with help from Rosa Gumataotao Rios, a Treasury official who oversaw the U.S. Mint under President Barack Obama.

Lee created the Circulating Collectible Coin Redesign Act with two Republicans, U.S. Reps. Anthony Gonzalez of Ohio and Deb Fischer of Nebraska. It was signed into law in 2020 and the public was able to nominate potential honorees last year.

Angelou, who died at 86 in 2014, rose to national prominence with her 1969 debut memoir "I Know Why the Caged Bird Sings." She was widely recognized as part of the Civil Rights Movement, working alongside fellow activists such as Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X.

The poet made history as the first Black poet to write and read a poem at a presidential inauguration, when she read "On the Pulse of Morning" at President Bill Clinton's first inauguration in 1993. She was later given the Presidential Medal of Freedom, one of the highest civilian awards in the U.S., in 2011 by then-President Barack Obama.

"As a leader in the civil rights movement, poet laureate, college professor, Broadway actress, dancer, and the first female African American cable car conductor in San Francisco, Maya Angelou’s brilliance and artistry inspired generations of Americans,” Lee said. "If you find yourself holding a Maya Angelou quarter, may you be reminded of her words, 'be certain that you do not die without having done something wonderful for humanity.'"

While Angelou is the first Black woman to appear on the quarter, for years there has been a push to put more Black woman on U.S. currency. Abolitionist Harriet Tubman, who rescued about 70 enslaved people through the Underground Railroad, was proposed to replace Andrew Jackson — who owned enslaved people — on the $20 bill.

The movement began during the Obama administration, but was delayed by former President Donald Trump, who called the move "pure political correctness."

White House press secretary Jen Psaki said shortly after President Joe Biden's inauguration in 2020 the Treasury Department was looking at ways to "speed up the process," according to The New York Times. However, The Washington Post reported Tubman might not be on a bill before the end of his term, or a potential second term.

Antonio Brown a ‘happy guy’ at strip club after getting fired by his team

This time around, it wasn’t Antonio Brown who was topless. Despite getting unceremoniously fired by his team last week, we’re told Brown was a “fun, happy guy” as he dropped new music at a strip club on the Upper East Side on Sunday.

But as usual, drama wasn’t far behind the NFL star — because security was on high alert for a woman he didn’t want to see.

On January 2, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers star removed his jersey midgame, threw it into the crowd and ran off the field, later claiming that it was in protest against a coach who tried to force him to play even though he had serious ankle pain. He was quickly kicked off the team.

But by the weekend Brown was contentedly working on his side hustle as a rapper, celebrating the release of his new song “Pit Not The Palace” at jiggle joint Sapphire.

“He was a fun, happy guy. He was dancing and taking pictures nonstop — engaging with everyone,” a

We’re told Brown — who released his debut track “Whole Lotta Money” in 2020 — was welcomed to the strip joint by a flock of photographers and once inside, “instead of throwing jerseys, he was throwing singles at the dancers and the crowd,” the source said.

Brown hit the stage with Richie Romero, Andrew Stone and some of the dancers to perform his new single. The crowd threw money at him and he even gave them a little striptease by flashing his abs, we’re told.

Meanwhile, insiders told us the club took precautions in case model Ava Louise, who claimed to The Post that she and Brown hooked up before his on-field meltdown last week, was spotted at the venue.

“There were strict instructions not to let her in… or he wouldn’t ,” the insider said, “A few girls who looked like her weren’t allowed in because they weren’t sure if it was her.”

For someone who is suddenly unemployed, Brown has certainly been busy. His club appearance came after he donned a crazy fur jacket to shoot a music video for the song in the Diamond District over the weekend. On Friday, he was spotted at Harbor NYC celebrating Misa Hylton’s birthday. Hylton’s son with Diddy, Justin Combs, and Mary J. Blige also attended.

Publicist JP Andrade, who just launched The Born Pablo Collective branding company told us he and Brown are teaming up.

“We are planning to work together and there are very big things planned. We’re working on a project that will grow my new company and his music career. [We] plan on disrupting the entire entertainment industry,” Andrade said.

Calvin Simon, a founding member of Parliament-Funkadelic, has passed away at age 79. Funk icons Bootsy Collins and George Clinton confirmed Simon’s death in separate social media posts.

“Rest in peace to my P-Funk brother Mr. Calvin Simon,” George Clinton’s Facebook post read. “Longtime Parliament-Funkadelic vocalist. Fly on Calvin!”

“We lost another Original member of Parliament/Funkadelic,” Bootsy Collins wrote on Instagram. “A friend, bandmate & a cool classic guy, Mr. Calvin Simon was a former member of Parliament/Funkadelic. He’s in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, inducted in 1997 with fifteen members of P-Funk! R.I.P Bootsy baby!!!”

Simons was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.

Nia Long Recalls Disastrous Date with Chris Rock

*Nia Long revealed in the early 90s that she once had a disastrous date with comedian Chris Rock.

As reported by The Blast, she told TV One TV in 2018, “Dudes sending flowers, diamonds. My doorbell rings at 4 o clock in the morning, and there’s this beautiful box of diamond rings that were brought in on a private jet and delivered in the middle of the night. All that was so overwhelming for me.”

“I remember Chris Rock and I were set up on a blind date. He was on Saturday Night Live. He picked me up. We went out. We hated each other,” Long recalled. “I was like, ‘This dude is not even that f**** funny. And he’s the only dude that has ever given me a false number.”

“Yes, I did it purposely. She was kind of obnoxious,” Rock later admitted when the two appeared on “The Wendy William Show.” He stopped chasing her when Long made a comment about her side-d*ck supplier.

Rock said, “So, at some point in the day, I go, ‘Are you seeing anybody?’ And she says, ‘No, but I know where I need to get some d*** if I need it.’”

Long also briefly dated comedian Chris Tucker. In an interview with AV Club, the actress revealed, “I bought myself a BMW. It was so cute. I was shooting “Friday” at the time, and Chris Tucker and I saw each other on the freeway, on the way to the set,” she said.

Long continued, “He had a busted window with a pizza box over it because he couldn’t afford to fix the window! We get to work, and he goes, ‘When I grow up, I want to be just like you.’”

When they went on another date two years later, Tucker by that point was a household name.

“Cut to—all the money he made. Two years ago, we go out to dinner, and he picked me up in—ready?—a Phantom Rolls-Royce, which—I couldn’t even figure out how to get the damn car door opened. I said to him: ‘Oh, you want to be like me? I think the tables have turned.’”

And there you have it!

NFL: Dolphins, Bears and Vikings Fire Head Coaches

Out with the old and in with the new. Black Monday is officially here, which means pink slips for many that have disappointed this NFL season.

The biggest shock is the firing of Miami’s Brian Flores. The coach won three seasons back-to-back and, according to ESPN, is a top candidate for many teams following his removal. The general manager, Chris Grier, is expected to stay.

Flores was the most surprising casualty on Black Monday. The Dolphins owner, Stephen Ross, announced, “I made a decision today to part ways with Brian Flores. After evaluating where we are as an organization and what we need going forward to improve, I determined that key dynamics of our football organization weren’t functioning at a level I want it to be and felt that this decision was in the best interest of the Miami Dolphins. I believe we have a talented young roster in place and have the opportunity to be much better in 2022.”

Next up for firings was Minnesota’s head coach Mike Zimmer and executive vice president and general manager Rick Spielman. Not a surprising decision as the Minnesota Vikings missed the playoffs for the second year in a row. The Vikings finished 8-9 this season.

Chicago also decided to part ways with their head coach and general manager, Matt Nagy and Ryan Pace. The Bears finished 6-11 season and the coach stumbled to make the team a winning team. In 2018, Nagy made Coach of the Year.

Finally, the New York Giants want a new general manager. Though they are retaining head coach Joe Judge, as of now, Dave Gettleman is out. The Giants went 4-13 this season and performed one of the worst seen in Giant history.
