#FASHIONFILES: Alton Mason Dons Berluti For Antidote Cover Shoot

With a new cover shoot, Alton Mason takes the spotlight once more. Antidote magazine’s fall-winter 2021 issue features the dancer and model on the cover. Alton is dressed in Berluti, showcasing the luxury brand’s vibrant menswear.

Alton serves up dynamic poses inside the magazine. On a minimalist studio set, he connects with photographer Lee Wei Swee. The latter captures Alton from a variety of perspectives for a fun fashion shoot.

Yann Weber, meanwhile, styles Alton for Antidote. Alton wears Berluti’s elegant tailoring and colorful patina-inspired treatments front and center. Alton also talks to Antidote about making his big-screen debut as Little Richard in Baz Luhrmann’s “Elvis.”

At a ceremony in Australia, Alton met Luhrmann by chance and complimented the director’s hair. After learning that Alton can dance and sing, Luhrmann decided to postpone his flight the next day so he could take him to his favorite movie house.

“That’s what we did,” Alton explains, “and that’s where he suggested I audition for the role of Little Richard. It was an incredible chain of events! I’m utterly grateful, because I’d never dared to dream of doing such things. It’s beyond me how it happened! “

#RHOA: Kenya Moore Caps Off a Busy 2021 with the Most Glorious Photo

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is jumping into the new year with nothing but positive vibes.

Kenya Moore has certainly had plenty of good tidings, good cheer, and "gone with the wind fabulous" moments to look back on as the year comes to a close.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member had quite the eventful 2021, with more than a few memorable — and extra special — noteworthy experiences, including making her debut on Season 30 of Dancing with the Stars, joining an iconic cast of Housewives from coast-to-coast for a luxurious Turks and Caicos vacation on the Peacock series The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip, and being a proud mom to her precious daughter, Brooklyn Doris Daly.

Recently, Kenya took to Instagram to share a light-hearted snapshot of herself, which seemed to exemplify the RHOA mom's lively year. "Catch air…not feelings," Kenya captioned the December 14 post, which showed her in mid-air while jumping on a trampoline.

Although Kenya definitely dealt with her fair share ups and downs this year, including her divorce from Marc Daly after four years of marriage, the RHOA mom headed into the tail end of the year on a high note. She put on her dancing shoes to compete on Dancing with the Stars with partner Brandon Armstrong and went on to reveal how much participating in the competition meant to her. “Turning 50 has been a rebirth for me,” Kenya wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “I’ve decided to claim my life back…be the strong woman I want to be for myself and my daughter."

Speaking of Brooklyn, Kenya has made sure to capture a bevy of adorable moments with her baby girl. Both of them recently enjoyed some pool time as the mother-daughter duo went swimming together.

Recently, Kenya and her 3-year-old daughter also had some festive fun checking out Christmas light displays, as well as hanging out with fellow RHOA cast member Kandi Burruss and Kandi's 2-year-old daughter, Blaze Tucker.

In addition to her special mother-daughter moments, Kenya spent part of her 2021 living it up in Turks and Caicos with RHOA's Cynthia Bailey, The Real Housewives of New York City's Luann de Lesseps and Ramona Singer, The Real Housewives of New Jersey's Melissa Gorga and Teresa Giudice, as well as The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills' Kyle Richards for Peacock's vacation series, The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. Kenya recently shared a fun group photo from the getaway with her fellow Housewives.

#NewMusic from Joss Stone Laments Heartache On ‘Breaking Each Other’s Hearts’

One thing we know the new year will bring is a new album from songstress Joss Stone. The singer gave us a preview of her new set, titled Never Forget My Love, by dropping off its soulful title track as the lead single. Now she's offering another listen and look with her follow up "Breaking Each Other's Hearts" and its video."Breaking Each Other's Hearts" gives us soul with high drama thanks to a fully orchestrated sound. The listener's ears are met with the swell of strings from the very beginning to let us know that this one will be emotional before quieting down for the verse.

There is where Joss gets to the heart of things as she sings about the way she and her guy are tearing apart their love. "All the mistakes I've made / I wish they would all go away / It's as if they were tailor-made for me," she sings. "It gets harder to believe / As the day goes by / I keep asking myself why." That leads back to the drama as the chorus ramps up the feelings. This push and pull continues throughout the song until the end, with Joss ending on a sweet final note before the strings play her out.

The video also picks up on the song's energy, showing Joss as a simple woman waiting for her man to come back home. When the chorus arrives, she transforms into a diva decked out in a sparkling gown and jewelry as she belts out the chorus. Once she gets out her feelings, she's back to normal until the next swell of emotion sends her back to her other persona once again. The pattern continues until eventually she's left with the diva persona while her man stumbles home drunk before the clip fades to black.

There's still no official date for when we'll be getting the newest project from Joss Stone, but it seems there's going to be a lot to love when it does arrive

#HipHopNews: Dababy Flirts With Lizzo In The Comments Of Her Butt Video Post

DaBaby has found himself in Lizzo's Instagram comments section once again.

The day after Christmas (Dec. 26), the "Truth Hurts" artist went on her IG Page to flaunt her backside. In the soundless clip, captioned, "What’s under the hood?!," Lizzo is seen wearing a hoodie, which she lifts up to reveal her butt. Under the hoodie, she's wearing a pair of booty shorts, which don the words "Fake Ass" on the center of her rear-end.

DaBaby, a fan of Lizzo's IG posts, typed a peach and a waving emoji in the comment section of her upload, seemingly showing love to Lizzo's voluptuous video.

The Charlotte, N.C. rhymer dropping peach emojis under Lizzo's social media posts isn't anything new, though. Back in March, DaBaby left three peaches in the comment section of an IG upload Lizzo shared promoting Rihanna's Savage x Fenty lingerie line.

Rihanna later caught Baby's comment and playfully called him out, writing, "Don’t be looking at my good sis too hard now."

DaBaby appears to be keeping a low-profile these days following the controversy that was sparked surrounding himself, DaniLeigh and their newborn daughter.

Last month, Dani accused the rapper and father of her first child of calling the police on her while she was at his residence in North Carolina. The two later exchanged words via Instagram Live, with DaBaby ultimately demeaning the R&B singer via social media while she was in the background.

DaniLeigh, who was charged with assault in connection to the incident, but wasn't taken into custody, later informed her fans that she had left DaBaby's home and was safe with her child.

Days later, Dani's brother challenged the rhymer to a fight for disrespecting his sibling, but the Kirk MC made light of the proposition.

Nonetheless, maybe Lizzo and DaBaby, who collabed on her "Truth Hurts (Remix)" in 2019, might revisit their musical synergy and deliver a new joint effort in 2022.

The Idiot from Georgia Rep Marjorie Taylor Greene Calls Kwanzaa ‘Fake Religion’ As Cultural Holiday Begins

*What the hell is wrong with this nutcase?! Oops. We think we just answered our own question. We’re referring to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.)  who is telling young Republicans to “stop” wishing people a happy Kwanzaa.

The controversial lawmaker, whose habit of stirring up controversy posted a holiday message to College Republicans via Twitter on the first day of the African American cultural celebration.

“Wishing you a happy and prosperous Kwanza!” the political group wrote Dec. 26, misspelling the name of the holiday which was created in 1966 as an alternative to Christmas that embraces family, community and culture and is based on African traditions.

“Stop. It’s a fake religion created by a psychopath,” Greene wrote in a reply tweet. “You aren’t bringing in new voters, you are turning them away. People are tired of pandering and BS.”

Umm, errr, does somebody wanna tell this complete moron in a dress that Kwanzaa can’t be a fake religion because … it is NOT a religion. As mentioned above, it’s a cultural holiday. Duh!

For those who aren’t up on the history of the holiday, Maulana Karenga created Kwanzaa, a seven-day festival in 1966 as a way for Black people around the world to honor the cultural traditions of Africa.

The show was scheduled to return September 20 for Season 13. Initially, it was premiere delayed for weeks after Wendy tested positive for a breakthrough case of Covid-19. Prior to her Covid diagnosis, the show said she would be stepping back from promotional activities ahead of the premiere due to ongoing health issues.

Dr. Dre’s Ex-Wife Scores Massive Divorce Settlement 100$ Million

One of Hollywood’s messiest divorces also will mark one of the industry’s most costly.

Dr. Dre and ex-wife Nicole Young reached a massive divorce settlement Tuesday that will see Young walk away from their 24-year marriage with $100 million. Sources familiar with the settlement tell Rolling Stone that the two sides have finalized terms of their split, with the Death Row Records co-founder forking over more than one-fifth of his fortune and roughly half of his liquid assets. Young will be required to move out of their Malibu beach house by the end of the month but will keep a Rolls Royce, Range Rover, Escalade limousine, and Spyder motorcycle as well as all of her jewelry.

The $100 million settlement concludes an 18-month divorce proceeding that played out in the press following Young’s filing in June 2020 and Dre’s move to enforce a prenuptial agreement signed in 1996. But powerhouse attorney Samantha Spector fought the validity of the prenup, arguing that Young had signed it under “duress.” (The couple share two adult children, Truice and Truly.)

Lawyers for both parties did not immediately respond to Rolling Stone’s request for comment.

Over the past year and a half, the battle between the 56-year-old rapper and producer — whose real name is Andre Romelle Young — and Nicole Young, 51, aired plenty of dirty laundry. Nicole claimed in court papers that Dre kicked her out of their home in early April and “plotted to secretly transfer their assets, to deny Nicole her equal share.” She also accused him of multiple instances of domestic abuse, including holding a gun to her head twice and punching her in the head and face, all of which he denied. In April, Nicole won her bid to compel three of Dre’s alleged mistresses — Jillian Speer, Kili Anderson, and Crystal Rogers — to testify in the case. Likewise, Dre filed a separate lawsuit in September, claiming that Nicole stole $353,571.85 from the coffers of Recording One studio in Sherman Oaks.

Legal observers say the turning point in the case came earlier this year, when Spector successfully pushed for the removal of Laura Wasser, another superstar divorce attorney, from Dre’s team. Spector and Wasser have squared off in the past, most notably in the Johnny Depp-Amber Heard divorce (Wasser represented Depp, while Spector was on Heard’s team). Likewise, Howard King, who had repped the couple on previous legal matters, was barred from representing Dre in the divorce. As a result, Anne Kiley, whose clients include Brad Pitt, took over as the point on Dre’s legal team.

With Wasser and King out, Nicole added more firepower to her legal team, bringing in attorneys Lisa Helfend Meyer and Bryan Freedman to untangle intellectual property issues given the record producer’s vast library of music created during the couple’s union. According to Tuesday’s settlement, Wasser and King each agreed to pay Nicole $50,000 to put to bed any potential claims between them. Both Dre and Nicole have agreed not to appeal the agreement.

Although Dre is often dubbed the hip-hop world’s first billionaire, divorce papers filed with L.A. Superior Court on Nov. 18 place his net worth at $458.2 million, with $182.7 million of that sum in cash, $6.3 million in stocks, and $269.2 million in property and assets, including intellectual property. Dre was believed to be worth considerably more after Apple bought his Beats Electronics in 2014 for $3 billion; his stake was reportedly worth $800 million at the time. It is unclear what accounts for the discrepancy.

‘Ain’t Too Proud’ Becomes Latest Broadway Musical to Close as COVID Hits Theater Business Hard

Broadway is losing another show. “Ain’t Too Proud – The Life and Times of the Temptations,” the jukebox musical about the influential vocal group behind “My Girl” and “Ain’t Too Proud to Beg,” will play its final Broadway performance on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at the Imperial Theatre.

Barring any additional COVID cancellations (a big ask these days), “Ain’t Too Proud” will have played 488 performances and 21 previews when cast members take their final bow. The announcement comes as the theater business is grappling with a wave of COVID-related closures and cancellations, as a resurgent pandemic threatens its tentative recovery. In recent days, “Jagged Little Pill,” “Thoughts of a Colored Man” and “Waitress” all announced they would end their runs.

Shows such as “Aladdin,” “The Lion King,” “Hamilton” “Harry Potter and the Cursed Child” and “MJ the Musical” have been forced to cancel performances after there were breakthrough cases of COVID in their respective companies. “Ain’t Too Proud” had its own COVID issues, suspending performances on Dec. 15 due to coronavirus cases. It’s been difficult to gauge the full financial impact of the rise in cases of COVID in New York City because the Broadway League, the trade association that shares tickets sales for the theater business, no longer breaks down grosses for each show.

“Ain’t Too Proud’s” producers said the musical recouped its entire investment on Broadway. A national touring production of the show is underway and will visit more than 50 cities across the country. “Ain’t Too Proud” will enter its final three weeks on Broadway and will resume performances Dec. 28 at The Imperial Theatre and at the Kennedy Center in Washington, DC.

Kim Kardashian Blasted for Posting ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’ Spoiler on Instagram

Spoiler Alert: If you haven’t seen ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home,’ you might want to stay away from Kim Kardashian’s Instagram story.

Kardashian watched the Tom Holland/Zendaya-starring film over the holiday weekend, evidently in a personal theater, and shared two very unamiguous updates with her 273 million followers. She deleted the posts soon after blowback ensued, but by then it was far too late. Frustrated fans sounded off on Twitter, lashing out at Kim for her blunder. (And some, of course, did point out that the new addition to the Marvel Cinematic Universe premiered over a week prior and could be considered fair game as far as plot details at this point.)

Earlier this month, Kardashian and Pete Davidson rented out a private theater at Atrium Stadium Cinemas in the latter’s home of Staten Island. TMZ wrote that they “chatted with staff and fans—like PD usually does—and they even took pics with folks.”

Spider-Man: No Way Home has been dominating the box office since its release on Dec. 17. The latest entry in the Tom Holland series grossed $1.05 billion worldwide in just 12 days, making it the first movie to surpass $1 billion in box office sales since Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker in 2019. The only other films to have hit these numbers in less time have been Avengers: Endgame and Avengers: Infinity War, which crossed $1B in five and 11 days. No Way Home is also the only movie released during the pandemic to hit $1 billion.

Chris Noth takes lonely stroll through Central Park on Christmas amid scandal

Chris Noth was seen walking in Central Park all by his lonesome on Christmas Day amid mounting sexual assault allegations against the actor.

The embattled “Sex and the City” alum, 67, was photographed looking somber as he went for a stroll on his own while others were spending the holiday with loved ones.

Noth seemed focused on a conversation he was having over the phone as he made his way through the park. At one point, he was spotted sitting on a park bench with a crotchety expression on his face.

The “And Just Like That…” actor didn’t seem to be hiding from the public, though, as he took off his face mask to expose his identity for any passersby to see.

He sported a navy peacoat, a green beanie, a blue and gray patterned scarf, ashen slacks and brown shoes as he puttered along.

Noth has been keeping a relatively low profile since four women came forward to accuse him of sexual assault, though he did emerge last week to tell the paparazzi, “I’ll now let the chips fall where they may. My statement is my statement, that’s all I can give,” referencing his blanket denial.

The first two accusers spoke to the Hollywood Reporter for a story published on Dec. 16, claiming Noth had forced himself on them in separate incidents in 2004 and 2015, with one of the women saying she ended up bleeding in a hospital.

A third woman then came forward to the Daily Beast, saying that Noth allegedly forced himself on her in 2010 in the back office of the New York City restaurant Da Marino.

And last week, New York-based singer Lisa Gentile claimed during a press conference that Noth had accosted her in 2002 in her apartment after giving her a ride home from Da Marino, the same restaurant where the third woman had allegedly been assaulted.

Noth, whose “SATC” character, Mr. Big, was killed off in the newly released HBO revival, has vehemently denied all of the claims.

His “And Just Like That…” co-stars have also spoken out, with Sarah Jessica Parker, Kristin Davis and Cynthia Nixon saying in a joint statement, “We are deeply saddened to hear the allegations against Chris Noth.

“We support the women who have come forward and shared their painful experiences,” the actresses added. “We know it must be a very difficult thing to do and we commend them for it.”

In the wake of the allegations, Noth was fired from the CBS series “The Equalizer” and dropped by his agency, A3 Artists. Booze brand Entertainment Arts Research also pulled out of a deal to purchase Noth’s tequila line, Ambhar, for $12 million following the backlash.

In addition, Peloton scrapped an advertisement starring Noth shortly after the Hollywood Reporter story came out.

The collection will include new Cardi B Classic Leather sneakers in metallic shades and a new apparel line that accentuates NYC at night. This will be the “Bodak Yellow” spitter’s second drop with Reebok. Her first launch, which was called “Let Me Be…In My World,” was released back in August.

“Nighttime in my hometown of New York is such a beautiful, magical experience, and I’m happy to see this magic come to life with my latest Reebok collection,” Cardi said in a statement. “These pieces are easy to wear from the street to the club while still letting you feel comfortable, confident and unique. The colors were “inspired by special moments with Kulture and Cardi’s life as a mom,” according to the footwear and clothing brand.

Cardi’s “Let Me Be…In My World Nighttime” collection will be available to shop on Dec. 29 at 10 a.m. ET online on Reebok’s website and at select stores.

Warriors Commentator Criticized for Mocking Nuggets Player Facundo Campazzo by Doing Accent

A commentator for the Golden State Warriors received criticism on social media after he mocked Denver Nuggets player Facundo Campazzo during a Tuesday night game.

It all began after Andre Iguodala was fouled by Campazzo, who wasn’t happy with the call. The Warriors commentator then pointed to soccer being “the main sport in Argentina” and referenced what many believe to be some soccer player’s affinity to flopping in the hopes of getting a penalty called.

“How can you call this? I was wronged,” he said while using an accent to make fun of Campazzo. The 30-year-old Nuggets player was born in Argentina.

Campazzo wasn’t the only Nuggets player who got caught in the crosshairs of the Warriors commentator when it was suggested that Austin Rivers only re-signed with the Clippers because the team’s coach was his dad, Doc Rivers.

“He played for the Clippers for three and half years. He got a big contract extension when—oh wait, his dad was the coach. That seemed to work out alright,” he said. “I’m just saying if you’re going to give the money, might as well give it to your kid.”

The Nuggets ended up walking away with a win against the Warriors. The final score was 89-86.

Draya Michele Hopes For Second Chance At Savage X Fenty Deal

As 2021 comes to a close, New Year’s resolutions become a theme once again. Draya Michele is no different. The former Basketball Wives star recently took to her Instagram story to manifest the return of her Savage Fenty endorsement.

“I would like my @savagexfenty deal back in 2022. Just wishful thinking,” she wrote over a picture wearing a red set from Rihanna’s highly requested brand.

In 2020 Draya received backlash for her insensitive response to the shooting incident between Tory Lanez and Megan Thee Stallion.

“I predict that they had some sort of Bobby and Whitney love that drove them down this type of road and I’m here for it – I like that. I want you to like me so much you shoot me in the foot too.”

The 36-year-old was immediately dragged for her tone-deaf comment. She later followed up with a series of apologies on social media.

“I truly don’t glorify domestic violence… I was trying to say just love me deeply, she said in a tweet. “But while trying to be funny I offended many, including Meg. And I’m sorry.”

Draya’s reaction was documented on of her Zeus Network show, Dosses of Drea back in September.

After her Instagram story plea reached The Shaderoom, the Pennsylvania native took to the comment section to emphasize her growth since the incident. She started by owning her mistake in front of the world.

“I definitely learned a lot from this experience and I was adamant about making sure my apology was as loud as a harmful comment,” she wrote.

In the new year, Draya looks to be “bouncing back.”

Only time will tell if Draya’s redemption plea is enough to represent Rihanna’s brand.

Former NY Governor Andrew Cuomo will not be charged for alleged assault of two women

Former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo won’t face criminal charges related to allegations he assaulted two different women, including a state trooper. After a “thorough investigation,” Westchester District Attorney Miriam Rocah announced that Cuomo would walk free despite the “credible” sexual harassment claims.

“Our investigation found credible evidence to conclude that the alleged conduct in both instances described above did occur,” she said in the statement. “In both instances, my office has determined that, although the allegations and witnesses were credible, and the conduct concerning, we cannot pursue criminal charges due to the statutory requirements of the criminal laws of New York.”

Cuomo previously faced charges stemming from the account of a state trooper, who claimed he asked for permission to kiss her as she guarded his Westchester County home. Fearful of the “ramifications of denying the [ex-] governor’s request,” she consented, prompting him to kiss her on the cheek while saying, “Oh, I’m not supposed to do that” or “Unless that’s against the rules.” The accusations eventually led to his resignation from political office.

Cuomo also denied allegations that he grabbed a second woman at a White Plains High School event and kissed her on the cheek “without seeking permission for such a greeting.”

The announcement from Westchester D.A. Rocah comes about a week after a Long Island prosecutor chose not to pursue criminal charges against Cuomo. The same trooper had accused the former governor of inappropriately touching her at an event at Belmont Park in September 2019. Like Rocah, however, Acting Nassau County District Attorney Joyce Smith said that the allegations “were credible and troubling but not criminal under state law.”

Cuomo still faces sexual harassment accusations from several women. His actions are currently being examined in a federal investigation as well as multiple probes around the state

Anti-Vaxxers Arrested While Protesting Mandate At A Brooklyn Burger King

Five anti-vaxxers were arrested after storming a New York City Burger King in protest of the COVID-19 vaccine mandate.

On Tuesday, several demonstrators stormed a Brooklyn Burger King. They were captured on video yelling at the restaurant’s employees who refused to serve them after they failed to show proof of vaccination, as required in New York City. Protesters then began shouting “lead us out” when police entered the building. Among the anti-vaxxers was Mitchell Bosch, who also participated in the January 6th Capitol riot.

In one video, Bosch gets on his knees and surrenders to the police as they ask the crowd to leave. He is seen being arrested in that same video as someone in the group shouts, “shame on you.” In a separate clip, Bosch gloats about getting arrested, all in the name of being a “freedom fighter.” During that clip, he puts the camera down at one point and is heard clashing with police officers who are trying to calm him down as he calls the COVID-19 mandates “bullsh–.”

The angry mob was upset over the current proof of vaccine mandate in NYC and the one taking effect this week that requires all employees at businesses to be vaccinated.

During the Burger King clash, Bosch, Michael Mitchell, Augusto Alarcon, Ethan Boisvert, and Bradford Solomon were arrested and charged with trespassing.
