In the new issue, which is out July 20, the first lady graces the cover of the iconic magazine and is all smiles as she poses from the White House balcony.
“Good Morning America” got an exclusive first look at her cover, where she opens up about her life at the White House, views on how the country has changed since her husband President Joe Biden took office and juggling her career as an English and writing professor.

Before her husband was elected president, some doubted that she could keep teaching. However, six months after moving into the White House, Biden has proved many wrong, teaching Zoom classes and grading papers while on the road.

“I heard that all the time during the campaign,” she told Vogue. “Like, ‘No. You’re not going to be able to teach as first lady.’ And I said, ‘Why not? You make things happen, right?’”
When Biden was second lady while her husband was vice president, she said she was always aware of her platform. These days, she wants to make the best use of the position she has and crosses the country for many speaking events, visits to vaccination sites and promoting the American Rescue Plan.
“When I became second lady -- and there was so much I wanted to do -- I always said, ‘I will never waste this platform … And now I have a bigger platform and I feel every day, like … What could I give up that I would want to give up? Nothing. If anything, I feel like adding more things but I know it’s not possible, because you want to stay centered, because you want to do things well. And there’s so much to do,” she said.
While her busy schedule has taken a toll on her marriage since her husband has taken office, President Joe Biden told Vogue that he’s really proud of her and they’re still making it work.
“I miss her. I’m really proud of her,” said the president. “But it’s not like we can just go off like we used to. When we were living in Delaware and married, once a month we’d just go up to a local bed-and-breakfast by ourselves, to make sure we had a romantic time to just get away and hang out with each other.”
“And the other thing is, she’s been traveling all over the country. And doing major events for me … and for the country. And so I’ll find that I’m working on a hell of an important speech and I'm distracted. And then I may not be working on one and I want to go and hang out with her, and she’s working on an important speech! Or grading papers. We have to figure out a way -- and I mean this sincerely -- to be able to steal time for one another. I think that’s the deal.”

Lil Nas X has achieved a lot since he debuted two years ago with his single “Old Town Road.” He had millions of streams in 2019 and a pair of 2020 Grammy Awards stacked on his shelf, all off one EP titled 7. Fans want a proper debut album, though, and the wait may finally be over, as Lil Nas X dropped the trailer to his upcoming project, Montero.
Lil Nas X dropped the trailer on Tuesday (June 11), and the preview draws inspiration from Disney’s Marvel Cinematic Universe. The clip starts the same way the Marvel movies do, with the opening credits showing the various superheroes from different scenes from the films.
But instead of superheroes, Lil Nas X uses the number of characters he portrayed in his music videos, such as the cowboy from “Old Town Road” and the red-haired stripper dancing his way to Hell in “MONTERO (Call Me By Your Name).” Lil Nas X also blessed fans with a snippet of a new song produced by Take A Daytrip that played in the trailer’s background.

BREAKING: Bill Cosby’s Sex Assault Conviction Overturned By Pennsylvania Supreme Court!
Bill Cosby’s sex assault conviction has been overturned by Pennsylvania’s highest court after finding that an agreement with a previous prosecutor prevented him from being charged in the case.
via AP: Cosby has served more than two years of a three- to 10-year sentence at a state prison near Philadelphia. He had vowed to serve all 10 years rather than acknowledge any remorse over the 2004 encounter with accuser Andrea Constand.
The 83-year-old Cosby, who was once beloved as “America’s Dad,” was convicted of drugging and molesting the Temple University employee at his suburban estate.
He was charged in late 2015, when a prosecutor armed with newly unsealed evidence — Cosby’s damaging deposition from her lawsuit — arrested him days before the 12-year statute of limitations expired.
The trial judge had allowed just one other accuser to testify at Cosby’s first trial, when the jury deadlocked. However, he then allowed five other accusers to testify at the retrial about their experiences with Cosby in the 1980s.
The Pennsylvania Supreme Court said that testimony tainted the trial, even though a lower appeals court had found it appropriate to show a signature pattern of drugging and molesting women.
Cosby was the first celebrity tried and convicted in the #MeToo era, so the reversal could make prosecutors wary of calling other accusers in similar cases. The law on prior bad act testimony varies by state, though, and the ruling only holds sway in Pennsylvania.
Prosecutors did not immediately say if they would appeal or seek to try Cosby for a third time.
The justices voiced concern not just about sex assault cases, but what they saw as the judiciary’s increasing tendency to allow testimony that crosses the line into character attacks. The law allows the testimony only in limited cases, including to show a crime pattern so specific it serves to identify the perpetrator.
In New York, the judge presiding over last year’s trial of movie mogul Harvey Weinstein, whose case had sparked the explosion of the #MeToo movement in 2017, let four other accusers testify. Weinstein was convicted and sentenced to 23 years in prison. He is now facing separate charges in California.
In Cosby’s case, one of his appellate lawyers said prosecutors put on vague evidence about the uncharged conduct, including Cosby’s own recollections in his deposition about giving women alcohol or quaaludes before sexual encounters.
“The presumption of innocence just didn’t exist for him,” Jennifer Bonjean, the lawyer, argued to the court in December.
In May, Cosby was denied paroled after refusing to participate in sex offender programs during his nearly three years in state prison. He has long said he would resist the treatment programs and refuse to acknowledge wrongdoing even if it means serving the full 10-year sentence.
This is the first year he was eligible for parole under the three- to 10-year sentence handed down after his 2018 conviction.
Cosby spokesperson Andrew Wyatt called the parole board decision “appalling.”
Prosecutors said Cosby repeatedly used his fame and “family man” persona to manipulate young women, holding himself out as a mentor before betraying them.
Cosby, a groundbreaking Black actor who grew up in public housing in Philadelphia, made a fortune estimated at $400 million during his 50 years in the entertainment industry. His trademark clean comedy and homespun wisdom fueled popular TV shows, books and standup acts.
He fell from favor in his later years as he lectured the Black community about family values, but was attempting a comeback when he was arrested.
“There was a built-in level of trust because of his status in the entertainment industry and because he held himself out as a public moralist,” Assistant District Attorney Adrienne Jappe, of suburban Montgomery County, argued to the justices.
Cosby had invited Constand to an estate he owns in Pennsylvania the night she said he drugged and sexually assaulted her.
Constand, a former professional basketball player who worked at his alma mater, went to police a year later. The other accusers knew Cosby through the entertainment industry and did not go to police.

In other Verzuz news, millions of fans are still riding high off of Soulja Boy and Bow Wow’s battle, which took place over the weekend. It turns out that the event almost didn’t happen, however. Today, a viral clip made its rounds on the internet that showed Soulja getting into a spat with security who, at first, refused to let his entourage backstage with him. “Check this out, I don’t know who you could tell, but if they don’t let my artists in, I’m about to leave right now, and there won’t be no live or no event,” he said in the footage. Luckily, everything worked out.

New Line’s ‘House Party’ Remake Adds Shakira Ja’nai Paye, Andrew Santino, Bill Bellamy!
Shakira Ja’nai Paye, Andrew Santino and Bill Bellamy have joined the cast of New Line’s re-imagining of House Party, the 1990 cult classic comedy.
The trio join Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Tosin Cole, Karen Obilom and DC Young Fly, among others, on the roll call for the remake, which is intended to stream on HBO Max.
Music video director Calmatic is making his feature directing debut with Party, which is being produced by The SpringHill Company, the banner run by LeBron James and Maverick Carter.
The original movie focused on two best friends and their efforts to throw the party of the year and their hijinks involving bullies, parents, girls and police.
The new, 21st century take, penned by Atlanta writing duo Stephen Glover and Jamal Olori, is being kept on the down-low.
Reginald Hudlin, who wrote and directed the original, is exec producing with Warrington Hudlin. Spencer Beighley and Jamal Henderson of SpringHill are also exec producing.
Executives Richard Brener, Josh Mack and Victoria Palmeri are overseeing for the studio.
Paye can be seen starring opposite Ashton Sanders and Jeffrey Wright in the Netflix feature All Day and a Night. Additionally, she is a member of Obama’s Other Daughters, an all-Black women improv and sketch comedy troupe.
Stand-up comedian and actor Santino currently appears in FX’s acclaimed comedy Dave. He also starred in the Jim Carrey-exec produced Showtime series I’m Dying Up Here and appeared in the 2020 comedy Friendsgiving.
Bellamy is the stand-up comedian who made his name on HBO’s Def Comedy Jam and is credited as the person who coined the term “booty call.” One of the first MTV VJs, Bellamy recently appeared in HBO’s Insecure and with Selma Blair in indie thriller A Dark Foe.
Paye is repped by UTA and manager Bryan Brucks. Santino is repped by UTA and Ziffren Brittenham. Belamy is repped by Innovative and Main Title Entertainment.
Counting On Cancelled at TLC Following Josh Duggar Arrest!
TLC has cancelled the 19 Kids & Counting spinoff Counting On after 11 seasons, our sister site Variety reports. The cancellation comes after 19 Kids star Josh Duggar was arrested for possession of child pornography.
“TLC will not be producing additional seasons of Counting On,” the network said in a statement. “TLC feels it is important to give the Duggar family the opportunity to address their situation privately.” The Season 11 (and now series) finale aired in September.
Counting On debuted in 2015 and followed Jessa, Jinger and Joy-Anna, three daughters of 19 Kids & Counting mom and dad Jim Bob and Michelle Duggar. Josh Duggar, Jim Bob and Michelle’s eldest son, was not featured on the series, but his wife Anna and their six children were.
Josh Duggar was arrested in April on federal charges of receiving and possessing child pornography. He pled not guilty and is currently awaiting trial. If convicted, he faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
19 Kids & Counting was a long-running reality hit for TLC, following Jim Bob and Michelle and their huge brood of children in Arkansas. It debuted in 2008 and ran for a total of 10 seasons. But TLC cancelled the series in 2015 after allegations arose that Josh Duggar sexually molested a number of underage girls, including some of his sisters, while he was a teenager. TLC then launched Counting On to focus on the Duggar daughters, keeping Josh off camera.
Transgender Woman Crowned Miss Nevada USA, Becomes First in Pageant History: 'My Win Is Our Win'!
History was made for the LGBTQ community in Nevada over the weekend.
On Sunday, Kataluna Enriquez beat out 21 other contestants to win the crown of Miss Nevada USA. With the title, Enriquez, 27, becomes the first transgender woman to win a competition in the pageant's history.
"Congratulations to our new Miss Nevada USA @mskataluna 👑 History made!" Miss Nevada USA wrote on their Instagram page beside a photo of Enriquez in a rainbow dress with her new crown and sash.
Ahead of Sunday's competition, which was held at South Point Hotel Casino & Spa in Las Vegas, Enriquez won the Miss Silver State USA pageant, according to her Instagram.
She will now compete for the Miss USA title in November.
Following her victory, Enriquez celebrated the accomplishment in a post on Instagram Monday.
"Huge thank you to everyone who supported me from day one. My community, you are always in my heart. My win is our win. We just made history. Happy pride," she wrote alongside several rainbow hearts.
Enriquez also posted a photo before winning the crown and revealed that she had made the rainbow gown herself through her clothing line, KatalunaKouture.
"In honor of pride month, and all of those who don't get a chance to spread their colors. ❤️🧡💛💚💙" she wrote of the custom dress.
In addition to owning KatalunaKouture, Enriquez is a healthcare admin and fashion designer, according to her short bio on Miss Silver State USA's Instagram.
"At a young age, Kataluna fought multiple challenges in her life," the page reads. "Now she uses her life experiences and shares it in her platform #BEVISIBLE, a campaign to combat hate through vulnerability."
"As a survivor of physical and sexual abuse and a proud Transwoman of color, she aims to break barriers and represent those who aren't always represented and continues to support numerous non-profit organizations and LGBTQ+ youth," the post added.
17-Year-Old Erriyon Knighton Breaks Usain Bolt’s Records, Qualifies for the Olympics!
Erriyon Knighton is the 17-year-old Florida native who just broke Usain Bolt’s record and is on his way to the Olympics.
According to Yahoo! Sports, Knighton is set to be one of the youngest athletes to represent Team USA this summer after he finished third in the men’s 200-meter final at the Olympic trials in Eugene, Oregon, this past Sunday. Knighton could very well be the youngest American male to make it to the Olympic track and field team since Jim Ryun in 1964.
It wasn’t until Knighton became a freshman at Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida, that he began competing in track and field. In his first major competition, he won fifth place in the 200-meter dash. His idea to participate in track and field came as a suggestion from Knighton’s high school football coaches.
At the beginning of 2021, Knighton chose to run professionally, later signing a contract with Adidas and hiring top sports agents Ramon Clay and John Regis.
“It’s only my third season running track,” Knighton told Track & Field News earlier this year, Yahoo! News reports. “I’ve been extremely successful in both training and competition. I believe if I work hard, I will eventually develop to be a world-class athlete. I’m soaking it all up, all the knowledge.”
This will be the second time now that Knighton has broken Bolt’s youth records. Knighton ran the 200 in 20.11 seconds earlier this month, beating the previous under-18 record Bolt set in 2003. This past Sunday, Knighton ran a 19.88 in his semifinal heat at the Olympic trials, knocking out Bolt’s under-20 world record he achieved in 2004.
The Weeknd to Co-Create and Star in New HBO Series The Idol!
The Weeknd is developing a new HBO series alongside Euphoria creator Sam Levinson. The Idol will follow a female pop singer who becomes romantically involved with a Los Angeles club owner—who also happens to be a cult leader. The Weeknd is slated to produce, co-write, and star in the drama.
In addition to the Weeknd and Levinson, the show will be co-created by Reza Fahim, who works with the Weeknd as a creative producer. Joseph Epstein will serve as co-writer and showrunner on the project, while Ashley Levinson, Kevin Turen, and Aaron L. Gilbert will co–executive produce alongside Sam Levinson.
Andy Dick Arrested and Facing Charges for Felony Assault With a Deadly Weapon!
Over the weekend Andy Dick was arrested for felony assault with a deadly weapon. Police confirmed Dick’s latest legal run-in to Page Six, with the LAPD saying that the 55-year-old comedian was apprehended on June 26.
He was released from jail Tuesday after posting a $50,000 bond.
Elisa Jordana, who is reportedly engaged to Dick, said on her YouTube show Kermit and Friends that Dick assaulted his lover Lucas with a metal chair. She claims “he could have killed him.”
She says that Lucas was taken to a hospital and that “I saw pictures, I saw video; it’s not good.” Jordana described Dick’s behavior as getting out of control in the time leading up to the incident.
“It was getting worse and worse and worse,” she stated. “Everyday there was some kind of problem. There were signs something was going to happen.”
Jordana claims that Dick had recently been evicted from his home, then moved to a hostel, then got kicked out of there. She also detailed multiple recent incidents at restaurants. “He stole cutlery, he stole a wine glass, he stole plates,” she says. “He asked for a doggie bag so he could put all that in.”
Jordana talked to Us Magazine and told that outlet that things between her and Dick are “not going too great” after detailing his arrest for her YouTube show.
“He’s mad at me,” she continued. “I regret saying it, but I want to help. I want someone to help me. It’s very hard dealing with these things. I love Andy and he is the best in many ways. In hindsight maybe I shouldn’t have said anything, but I did. And I feel alone.”
She also had nice things to say about him, stating “He’s a cute guy. A talented guy. He’s helped me tremendously, he makes me laugh, he has a lot of characteristics that are really good.”
In 2019 Dick was charged with groping a ride-hailing service driver. The year before that he pled not guilty to misdemeanor battery and misdemeanor sexual battery for allegedly groping a woman. And the year before that he was booted from working on an indie film after he was accused by those on set of groping cast and crew. He denied those claims, but said “I might have kissed somebody on the cheek to say goodbye and then licked them. That’s my thing — I licked Carrie Fisher at a roast. It’s me being funny. I’m not trying to sexually harass people. I didn’t grab anybody’s genitals.”
Page Six adds that Dick recently started up a podcast titled ADickted to Love, where he intends to talk to doctors, recovery specialists, therapists, and others about getting his life on the right track.

On Monday (June 28), proud dad Safaree announced the news on Instagram, sharing a photo of himself holding his and his estranged wife's newborn baby boy.
"MR Straittt jr is here!! 🙏🏾 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾," he captioned the pic. Safaree also posted a photo to Instagram Story of his son holding his finger. "Another me…. That's all the world need," the reality star captioned the shot, adding angel and laughing emojis.
Erica has yet to post about her son's arrival. As fans know, the Love & Hip Hop alum filed for divorce from Safaree in Georgia's Fayette County Superior Court last month. Per documents, obtained by TMZ, Erica asked for primary physical custody of her and Safaree's one-year-old daughter, Safire, but stated she's willing to share joint legal custody.
News of the reality star's divorce filing came weeks after Erica and Safaree took to Instagram to announce that they were expanding their family.
"More Life♥️✨ Who wants that perfect love story anyway," Erica captioned the first of her three posts that shared shots from her pregnancy photoshoot, which showed a pregnant Erica posing with Safaree in front of a huge, gold vault.
Erica and Safaree welcomed their first child together, 16-month-old daughter Safire Majesty Samuels, in February 2020 — months after they tied the knot.
Erica also has a 14-year-old son, King Javien Conde, from a previous relationship.
Ray MacDonnell, All My Children star, dies at 93!
So long, Dr. Joe Martin. Ray MacDonnell, whose character was one of the founding families in All My Children, died June 10 of natural causes in his Chappaqua, New York home, his daughter, Sarah MacDonnell, confirmed to Michael Fairman TV. He was 93.
MacDonnell created the role of Joe Martin on All My Children in 1970. He led the cast until his retirement in 2010, though he came back for several episodes — including the soap's heartbreaking 2011 finale. Next to Erica Kane (Susan Lucci), Joe Martin was the longest-running original character on the soap created by Agnes Nixon.
MacDonnell's contribution to daytime was so notable that he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Daytime Emmys in 2005.
Born in Massachusetts, MacDonnell studied at Amherst College before scoring a Fulbright Scholarship to the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. His early work in acting included a stint on The Jack Benny Show and the role of Phil Capice on the CBS black and white soap The Edge of Night.
He is survived by his wife Patricia and his three children.
Blair Underwood’s Wife, Desiree DaCosta, Files For Divorce After 27 Years Of Marriage!
Actor Blair Underwood’s 27-year marriage is over, his wife Desiree DaCosta has filed for divorce.
via: The Blast: According to legal documents, obtained by The Blast, DaCosta filed for dissolution of marriage on June 29, 2021. In this case, many fans of the ‘L.A. Law’ actor knew this may be coming after the now-former couple went public about their split. The two issued a joint statement last month, indicating they were breaking up after 27 years together.
The exes share their children together sons Paris and Blake, and daughter Brielle. But, the couple will not have to hash out any details of custody of their kids as they are all adults. The couple was married on September 17, 1994.
“After a tremendous amount of thought, prayer & work on ourselves individually & collectively, we have come to the conclusion to end our marriage that began 27 years ago,” the couple’s statement began.
It continued, “It has truly been a beautiful journey, Our proudest achievements are our three incredible children. Three souls to which God entrusted us. We continue to be awed & humbled by the blessings of parenting. We have always put their best interests first & will continue to do so. We will continue to be the best of friends and co-parents and have the utmost respect for one another as we embark upon this new chapter of our lives, separately.”
The famous couple ended their statement by saying, “We thank you all for your support throughout the years & we humbly ask for privacy & understanding during this new season of change.”
Interestingly, Underwood spoke very highly of his wife on many occasions including a 2008 interview with Oprah.com where he reflected on watching his father be the breadwinner in his home growing up.”I wanted to be her rock, her protector,” he said. Adding, “If she had a problem, I wanted to solve it. The Feds Indict Pooh Shiesty & Used A Picture Of Him On His Ig Flashing Money As Evidence!
Federal authorities indicted Pooh Shiesty. As reported in the Miami Herald, the 21-year-old rapper is in federal custody and will make his first court appearance Tuesday (June 29) afternoon. He’s indicted for an alleged 2020 shooting and robbery of two men outside a Bay Harbor Islands hotel. His charges are for discharging a firearm during a violent crime, conspiracy, and robbery under a law regulating commerce.
Pooh Shiesty was charged and freed on bond over the same incident earlier this month but was sent back due to a separate charge over the alleged shooting of a security guard at the King of Diamonds strip club during Memorial Day weekend. The incident last year was over an alleged drug deal gone wrong. According to a criminal complaint, Pooh and two others, Bobby Brown and Jayden Darosa, who are also facing charges, arranged to buy weed. The trio was allegedly buying weed from two men at a “high-end” sneaker store. During the deal, Pooh Pooh and Bobby shot the two men they were buying weed from, according to the complaint. One man was shot in the hip, the other in the rear end. Everything was captured on camera.
Investigators found money inside of a McLaren Pooh rented. It was a Louis Vitton bag filled with $40,912 in cash. Days before the incident, Pooh posted a photo of himself with a rifle and a wad of money. According to the article, one of the bills in the bag had the same serial number as the one on his IG.
