#RHOA: Drew Sidora Accuses Married LaToya Ali of Having a Relationship with Her Prophet Friend!

They say there are two sides to every story — and for Drew Sidora and LaToya Ali, that couldn't be more true.

On Sunday's episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta, Drew accused LaToya — who is married — of having a relationship with her longtime family friend Prophet Anthony Lott. The actress said Prophet Lott was supposed to perform a "baby blessing" on her daughter, Aniya, but she ultimately decided not to have the spiritual advisor do the blessing because she believed LaToya and Prophet Lott were in a relationship.

Both Prophet Lott, who is single, and LaToya, who is in the process of getting a divorce, denied Drew's accusation.

Speaking with her husband Ralph Pittman about the situation, Drew, 35, said they needed to figure out what they were going to do about their daughter Aniya's event because "Prophet Lott, he's no longer gonna do the baby blessing."

Drew said the drama started after LaToya was driven home the night that Shamea Morton had some of the ladies over to her house. "LaToya had had way too much to drink," Drew recalled to cameras.

"I offered to make sure she got home safe," Drew told Ralph, and explained to viewers that her "assistant Danny, gave her a ride."

"From that, Danny invited her to that revival with Prophet Lott. You gotta share God with people, you know?" she said to her husband.

The Step Up star was introduced to Prophet Lott by Danny "years ago" — and since then, he had "become an intricate part of our family," she told viewers. "And he was going to do our baby blessing for our daughter, Aniya."

That is, until she concluded that he and LaToya, 34, were in a relationship.

While Drew said "I really still don't know everything that's going on," she told Ralph that "LaToya's mom said that she went and got a hotel room for Prophet Lott. And then Prophet Lott said that they went to dinner and then they went to breakfast the next day."

"That's what's all coming back to me, is that they're in a relationship," Drew said to Ralph.

She went on to say, "I feel like there's a thin line between, you know, worshiping and praying [for] somebody and being a spiritual to now you're talking about she's in a relationship with a prophet now?"

Drew said she was also under the impression that the prophet had a newborn and was engaged to be married.

"I only think about the fact that he has a new baby and a fiancée back at home. And you're still married — legally married," Drew continued, referencing LaToya. "So you living with your husband, you're married and you're over here with the prophet?"

Drew said in a confessional: "It's a whole lot of mess there and I just didn't want that over my baby's blessing."

"Preying on the prophet. That's what I think," Drew told Ralph about LaToya. "Prophet Lott can no longer do the baby blessing. I don't feel like it would be appropriate."

Later, at Cynthia Bailey and Porsha Williams' Black-owned business pop-up shop event, the drama was brought up among the cast.

Drew said that the night of Kandi Burruss' restaurant opening, she had received a call from Prophet Lott "and he told me that I guess you were upset or something," she told LaToya. "He said you were upset because I had found out that you guys had been seeing each other."

When Drew asked "is that not true?" LaToya's response was: "Okay, I'm not entertaining her."

Drew continued by recalling something she said LaToya had told Cynthia. "Didn't you tell Cynthia you met somebody that's from Texas?" she said to LaToya.

"You did tell me — now I don't know if he was a prophet — you told me you were on your spiritual journey and you met someone who lived in Texas," Cynthia confirmed, as Drew stated that the "prophet, is he from Texas?"

"The prophet's the only one from Texas?" LaToya replied.

As Drew asked LaToya "the prophet lied. And he broke up with his fiancée? And he has a baby?" LaToya still seemed to avoid any association. "Okay. What does that have to do with me?" she asked.

Bringing up LaToya's spiritual journey, Drew said that "the first step is just to tell the truth."

"But I think the first step is for you to shut up because you don't know what the f--- you're talking about," LaToya fired back, explaining that she "was on a four-week program with him — he was advising me spiritually every Wednesday."

"So is that why your mom thought you were with him because you got a hotel room for Prophet Lott. Am I lying?" asked Drew.

LaToya responded, "Yeah. I am not talking to no Prophet Lott and if I was, why the hell wouldn't I say so?"

"Oh, I don't know. I mean, I have no idea. But that's what's going on," Drew said as LaToya asserted, "That's not what's going on. You don't know what's going on in my life."

Explaining the aftermath of the situation to LaToya, Drew said that "Prophet Lott has been a part of our family for many many years. He was actually doing my baby's blessing and he had to pull out because of the drama circulating with his family and all that you got going on."

"He's been calling my husband. Everything that's fallen out with his fiancée. So I've now had to cancel my baby blessing because of yo ass," Drew told LaToya.

In a confessional, Drew called LaToya "a very disrespectful little thing. You're still married and you're breaking up families and happy homes? I really have an issue and I just can't stand by and allow that to happen to people that I care about."

After more back-and-forth, LaToya walked away from the confrontation.

But that wasn't the end of it. While at a gathering at Kenya Moore's house, where Kandi, Cynthia and Marlo Hampton were also in attendance, LaToya tried to explain the situation.

"So I was in his program. Remember when I was in New Orleans and I wasn't drinking?" LaToya told the women, denying that he was "engaged, he's not in love with me, and who cares? He's not married and I'm getting a freaking divorce."

LaToya then FaceTimed Prophet Lott and asked on the call: "First, were you supposed to be christening Drew Sidora's baby?"

Prophet Lott said he "was asked to be a part of that and I never heard anything back from them. And I guess it was after some confusion came up, concerning me advising you spiritually."

Next, Kandi took the phone and brought up the accusation of him and LaToya "having some type of relationship," adding, "I believe they actually said that you admitted to this."

Said Prophet Lott: "The assistant [Danny] that's involved really was being very messy. And because he's the one that introduced me to them, I think it became this intimidation-type piece or something. Because the assistant [Danny] and I had a friendship. But when he felt like, I guess I was getting, you know, this connection with LaToya and then advising her or whatever, it's like, everybody got emotional. I never admitted that to them."

"I just admitted to them that I was advising her," he added. "And I'm not gonna allow anybody to control me. This, this is what I do."

Kandi pressed by asking if he ever had an "intimate relationship" with LaToya.

"No. Not at all," he said.

Making sure all the accusations were addressed, LaToya proceeded to ask if Prophet Lott was engaged or if he was previously set to tie the knot with someone.

"No, I'm not engaged," he said. "I was engaged, I'm not engaged."

"How many years?" asked LaToya.

"Three years ago," said Prophet Lott.

LaToya also raised Drew's claim that "I broke up the engagement because you're in love with me."

Shaking his head, Prophet Lott said "no."

After hanging up the call, LaToya reiterated what Prophet Lott had said. "This man's not engaged, okay. He didn't get a call back when it came to christening the baby. It has nothing to do with me," she told the women.

The Real Housewives of Atlanta airs Sundays (8 p.m. ET) on Bravo.

#HipHopNews: Funk Flex Calls Out 'Pussy' Rappers For Turning Off Instagram!

Funk Flex isn’t one to hold back on his opinion of Hip Hop culture. During a recent conversation with Cigar Talk, the Hot 97 radio personality revealed the one thing he hates most about rappers.

“You know what’s the most disgusting part about a rapper?” he said. “A rapper that turns his comments off is a pussy. He’s fucking pussy. You’re on your phone all day talking tough, you writing your bars, you putting out your mixtape, you’ve got your guns in the video and you turn off your comments you pussy. What kind of banana shit is that? Have you seen a rapper turn off his comments?”

Looking into the camera, he added, “If you’re a rapper right now, I’ma tell you something. I’ma tell you about yourself, that you turn your comments off you pussy. You go to your phone, you go to the post, you see a few comments you don’t like, you go, ‘That’s not true. He supposed to be my man, how dare he say that. I’ma go to the settings, I’ma turn my comments off.’ A rapper really does that. Man — and you want respect?”

Prior to DMX’s death on Friday (April 9), Flex called out the music industry for not helping the late Yonkers legend sooner.

“The music business is a gorilla,” he said. “It’s a bottomless pit of happiness or depression. I don’t wanna say people don’t help you, but I do want to say there are people who actually know [when a star is struggling, but don’t help] sometimes.”

He continued, “You don’t always get the best help when money is being made. It’s rough for someone like a DMX who may be in a mental and emotional state of childhood trauma that has happened to him and then being thrown into the money and fame.”

#DAUNTEWRIGHT: Police chief and officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright have both resigned, Brooklyn Center mayor says!

BROOKLYN CENTER, Minn. – The police  officer who fatally shot Daunte Wright has resigned, along with the police chief, the city's mayor announced Tuesday.

Kim Potter, a 48-year-old officer and a 26-year veteran of the department, submitted her letter of resignation Tuesday morning, Mayor Mike Elliott said in a press conference. He said the city did not ask her to resign. "We want to send the message to the community that we're taking this situation very seriously," Elliott said.

The Minnesota Department of Public Safety Bureau of Criminal Apprehension identified Potter  as the officer who shot Wright, 20, on Sunday during a traffic stop.

Gannon on Monday said he believed Potter mistook her firearm for her Taser when she shot Wright on Sunday and released body-camera footage of the incident during which Potter shouted "Taser" before firing.

Meanwhile, City Manager Curt Boganey was fired. Boganey said Monday the officer should be given due process after Mayor Mike Elliot said she should be fired. The city manager has control of the police department, but Elliot said the city council voted Monday to give the mayor's office "command authority."

Protests grew outside the Brooklyn Center police station Monday as hundreds gathered despite a 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. curfew imposed by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz.

A massive law enforcement presence descended on the Minneapolis area, and about about 1,000 Minnesota National Guard troops were expected to be activated by Monday night. Brooklyn Center is about 10 miles north of Minneapolis, where the trial of former police officer Derek Chauvin in the death of George Floyd was in its third week of testimony.

Wright's family hired civil rights attorney Ben Crump, who represents the Floyd family and many other families who have lost loved ones in police shootings, and co-counsel Jeff Storms. Crump and Storms will hold a news conference Tuesday with Wright's and Floyd's families in Minneapolis.

Ummmmmm, Usher Didn't Pay Strippers With 'U$Her Bucks'!

The internet is ablaze with fury that Usher allegedly made it rain on strippers with fake ass money -- with his face on it, no less -- but take a breather, because that's not how it went down.

You might have caught wind of this today -- a dancer going by the handle @beel0ove on IG posted photos of three "Usher bucks" that came in $100, $20 and $1 denominations ... all with Mr. Raymond's face in place of the usual dead Presidents.

She posed the question ... "Ladies what would you do if you danced all night for usher and he threw this??" The insinuation was she actually got the bogus cash for services rendered, and called for Usher to be "blasted" for passing the funny money.

She kinda got her wish, based on all the Usher memes out there now -- BUT, turns out there's way more to the story ... according to people directly involved.

For starters, this all happened at Sapphire in Vegas -- and a rep for the club tells TMZ Usher did NOT tip the strippers with this fake money, and actually dished out authentic greenbacks, while also going on to tip the staff at large quite generously.

We're told Usher and co. ended up spending thousands on the dancers (REAL thousands, mind you) and also enjoyed bottle service ... which he definitely didn't cover with these Usher bucks. It goes without saying ... Sapphire tells us they'd love to host him again, anytime.

Now for some more intel on what the hell actually happened here -- sources close to Usher tell us that somebody in his crew (not him) left some stray Usher dollars behind on the stage as a bit of a gag ... both to be joke-y, but to also promote his new Vegas residency.

We've been assured by folks in the singer's camp that he did, in fact, tip the girls who danced for him ... and that the Usher bucks in question weren't used for payment AT ALL.

That begs the question ... was Ms. @beel0ove simply misinformed here, or knowingly trying to make him look bad? It's unclear if she'll stick to her story, but 2 separate parties tell us her version is BS.

Transgender Woman Shot To Death By Date She Met On Plenty of Fish!

A man has been charged with allegedly murdering a transgender woman he had met on Plenty of Fish.

Charles Nelson of Springfield, Missouri, had been talking to 26-year-old Dominique Lucious on the site. They made plans to meet up at an apartment where Lucious would be staying. Another occupant of the apartment, identified as “S.D.,” says that Lucious woke him up early Thursday morning to let him know that she was preparing for her date with Nelson. S.D. told police that he went back to sleep but was awakened by the sounds of gunshots. The man says he saw Lucious lying on the couch with a man standing over before fleeing the home and entering his car. S.D. was able to take photos of the man as he drove away. A neighbor also saw the man leaving the apartment.

Nelson was arrested later that evening. Police used explicit text messages between the two and witnesses’ statements to link the 28-year-old to the murder. Authorities claim that Nelson had blood on his shoes when they caught up with him, and a gun recovered at his home matched a shell casing found at the crime scene.

Lucious’s family is stunned by the murder, saying that everyone who knew the young woman adored her.

“We grew up together,” said Ciara Williams, a cousin of Lucious. “We have lived together numerous times.” She goes on to add, “We were both homeless at a point in our lives when we were younger. She made sure I had somewhere warm to stay, even if she didn’t. She had a very good heart.”

Nelson has been charged with second-degree murder and is being held in the Greene County jail.

American Idol contestant Wyatt Pike has unexpectedly quit the competition.

Pike, 20, had just earned a spot in the season's top 16 on Sunday night and made it into the top 12, host Ryan Seacrest revealed on Monday's episode.

"Before we get to the results, I have to tell you that finalist Wyatt Pike will not be competing in the competition. He had to drop out, but we wish him the very best," Seacrest, 46, said.

It's unclear why Pike dropped out of the competition, although an Instagram post last Wednesday revealed the contestant was already home in Park City, Utah.

A rep for American Idol tells us "Wyatt could not continue due to personal reasons."

Sunday's episode of American Idol was pre-taped whereas Monday's show featured the first live performances of the season.

During Pike's last time on the show, he sang his own rendition of "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon.

His performance blew the judges away, with Katy Perry telling him, "I think you do have a little bit of an angle in this competition that you're an authentic singer-songwriter."

She added, "I think whatever happens, you're it."

Luke Bryan told Pike, "I remember one of the coolest things ever happened to me is the day I realized that I get to do music forever, under any circumstance. I'm telling you, Wyatt, you are going to be able to do music for the rest of your life."

"You have a style on stage that we like to watch," Lionel Richie said. "And to watch you take that song and make it your song, you're on your way to something big, my friend."

JAY-Z and Beyoncé did not purchase DMX’s masters, Swizz Beatz says!

Swizz Beatz is shutting down rumors that Beyoncé and JAY-Z are planning to purchase DMX’s masters and give to his children for free.

Following the tragic passing of the “X Gon’ Give It To Ya” emcee, an unnamed source began to circulate an article about The Carters’ alleged purchase. The title of the article read, “JAY-Z & Beyoncé are buying back DMX’s masters for $10 million & will give to his 17 kids for free.” The piece spread across social media like wildfire, although there was no real source to confirm the claims. However, Swizz, who was close friends with X, took to Instagram to refute those rumors.

Under an Instagram post of the article, he wrote, “Not true king,” followed by the praying hands emoji. Additionally, the title of the article includes incorrect information because X reportedly only had 15 kids.

On April 9, the It’s Dark And Hell Is Hot rapper sadly passed away following a heart attack. The weekend prior, he was rushed to a New York medical facility and placed on life support. Doctors performed numerous brain tests on the music legend, but his brain activity did not improve.

Following his death, many of his close friends took to social media to send their condolences, including Swizz, Sean “Diddy” Combs, LeBron James, Eve, Drag-On, Styles P, Black Rob, Joaquin “Waah” Dean, Snoop Dogg, Chance The Rapper, Juicy J and more. Diane Haughton, the mother of the late Aaliyah, penned a touching message to her daughter’s friend and former collaborator, saying that he “had and still have a heart of gold.”

Fans honored X’s life and legacy by streaming his music. The same day that his family announced his passing, his 1998 hit single “Ruff Ryders’ Anthem” hit No. 1 on U.S. iTunes.

Felony charge filed against former Chiefs coach Britt Reid after crash leaves child with brain damage!

The Jackson County prosecutor's office announced Monday it has filed a class D felony charge against former Kansas City Chiefs assistant coach Britt Reid following a crash that critically injured a 5-year-old girl.

The girl suffered a brain injury after the Feb. 4 crash near Arrowhead Stadium that has left her unable to speak or walk.

The Jackson County Prosecuting Attorney's Office said Monday Reid has been charged with driving while intoxicated, a class D felony with a potential jail sentence of one to seven years. Prosecutors confirmed Monday afternoon that Reid posted a $100,000 bond and has been released.

According to court documents, Reid’s blood alcohol content was measured at .113, and he was driving 84 miles an hour 1.9 seconds before the crash near Arrowhead Stadium.

The prosecutor's office said Friday that it received the case in recent days from the Kansas City Police Department.

Authorities said on Feb. 4 that Britt Reid's truck slammed into a car that had run out of gas at Interstate 435 and Stadium Drive and an SUV with two children, ages 4 and 5, inside.

Britt Reid was under investigation for "impairment," as he told an officer he had two to three drinks prior to the crash, according to a police search warrant application obtained by KMBC 9 Investigates.

Britt Reid is the son of Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid. He was also the Chiefs' outside linebackers coach.

Britt Reid is no longer employed by the team.

Ariel Young likely has permanent brain damage "that she will endure for the rest of her life," attorney Tom Porto said in an interview last month with ABC's "Good Morning America."

According to the court documents released Monday, Reid suffered a blunt force trauma injury to his groin “requiring emergency surgery."

The documents also said Reid told police he'd just left work prior to the crash. He also told officers he was looking over his left shoulder to determine if he could merge when he struck the Chevy Impala. Reid said ther were no lights on the vehicle.

Reid has "prior alcohol contacts" in Pennsylvania and Arizona according to a computer check run through the Kansas Department of Revenue, the court documents said.

Recent changes in the DWI statutes by the Missouri Legislature limit the number of charges that the prosecutor's office could pursue, given the evidence in the case, said Jackson County Prosecutor Baker.

But Baker said her office will vigorously pursue these charges and Reid is not receiving any favorable treatment from Kansas City police or the Jackson County Prosecutor's Office.

Baker noted she recently communicated with the child victim's family, through their attorney.

In an interview with ABC's "Good Morning America," Porto said that charge against Britt Reid mean justice for the 5-year-old is a step closer.

"She is at home. She cannot walk. She cannot talk. She cannot eat. She has a feeding tube in place. She will continue to endure this crash for the foreseeable future if not the rest of her life," Porto said.

In a Facebook post Ariel's mother, Felicia Miller, said the charges weren’t enough.

“This s--- right here is NOT even ENOUGH (expletive) TIME,” the social media post said. “1 TO 7. He can still Walk, Talk and (expletive) eat with a spoon and fork....”

This content is imported from Facebook. You may be able to find the same content in another format, or you may be able to find more information, at their web site.

The Chiefs released a statement following the charges being filed on Monday:

“The Kansas City Chiefs organization remains steadfast in our concern for all who have been impacted by this tragic accident,” the statement said. “Our prayers are focused on Ariel’s continued healing and recovery. The Chiefs are regularly in contact with the family’s designated representative during this challenging time.”

Mothers Against Drunk Driving applauded the Jackson County investigators and prosecutors for the charges.

“There are no words for the heartbreak caused by the traumatic and lifelong injuries to Ariel Young,” said MADD National President Alex Otte. “We join Ariel’s family in fighting for justice for Ariel. There is never any excuse to drive impaired by alcohol or other drugs. No excuses. No exceptions. We expect this case to be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.”

Model Suffers Brain Damage After Eating Pretzel; Wins Nearly $30 Million In Lawsuit!

A model named Chantel Giacalone was awarded $29.5 million after suffering brain damage from eating a pretzel.

Back on Feb. 20, 2013, Giacalone, who was 27 at the time, was modeling clothes at a fashion trade show at the Mandalay Bay South Convention Center when her friend bought her frozen yogurt and added a bite-size pretzel on top.

As soon as she took a bite, she went into anaphylactic shock, the New York Post reported. According to the model’s lawyer, she lost oxygen to the brain for several minutes even after receiving MedicWest Ambulance treatment.

On the day of the incident, MedicWest Ambulance was running the station. During Giacalone’s trial, she claimed MedicWest Ambulance two of the medics on site did not have IV epinephrine, an adrenaline treatment for severe allergic reactions required by the Southern Nevada Health District, New York Post reports. The outlet reports that medics only had intramuscular epinephrine in their bags, which they used on Giacalone. However, IVs are required when a patient is going into full anaphylaxis.

“Every minute of Chantel’s life has been inextricably altered,” Morris said in court. “Every single minute since she walked into that medic room to a company that chose profits over patient care.”

MedicWest claimed it did nothing wrong and said no matter what, Giacalone would have undergone the same outcome due to her allergy to peanuts.

By the end of it all, a Las Vegas jury found MedicWest guilty, resulting in Giacalone winning nearly $30 million. “At least my daughter will be taken care of. I’m happy about that,” her father, Jack Giacalone, said after the verdict was read.

Unfortunately, the now 35-year-old is quadriplegic, has to be fed through a tube, and can only communicate with her eyes, according to the Review-Journal. The outlet reports that he parents take care of her 24 hours a day; her parents said they are using the money to fund future care and a new home that will help with her specific needs.

CDC and FDA Pause Use of Johnson & Johnson Vaccine After It Causes Rare Blood Clotting In Six Women!

This morning, federal officials recommended that states avoid using Johnson & Johnson’s Covid-19 vaccine until an investigation into six unusual, but severe clotting problems in women who received the vaccine is conducted.

The clotting problem is similar to one that has been identified following the use of AstraZeneca’s Covid-19 vaccine, which has yet to be approved for use in the United States. It’s also related to an incident that happened during a Johnson & Johnson clinical trial in the US, which caused the trial to be temporarily suspended.

The CDC and FDA both issued the recommendation, which is not a restriction against using the vaccine. On Wednesday, the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices will be held to review the data.

“Until that process is complete, we are recommending a pause in the use of this vaccine out of an abundance of caution,” the statement said. “This is important, in part, to ensure that the health care provider community is aware of the potential for these adverse events and can plan for proper recognition and management due to the unique treatment required with this type of blood clot.”

Six cases of a rare form of blood clot known as a cerebral venous sinus thrombosis (CVST) were identified, all of which were associated with low blood platelet levels, a disorder known as thrombocytopenia. The symptoms appeared between six and thirteen days after vaccination in women aged 18 to 48.

More than 6.8 million doses of the Johnson and Johnson vaccine had been distributed in the US as of Monday.

The occurrences appeared to be “extremely rare,” according to the agencies’ statement. It didn’t mention the background rate for such incidents or how many cases you’d expect to see in non-vaccinated people. This figure is required to help authorities determine whether an adverse reaction to vaccination was caused by the vaccine or was simply a coincidence.

CVST incidents occur at a rate of around five per million people per year, according to the Johns Hopkins School of Medicine.

People who have received the Johnson & Johnson vaccine and develop any symptoms within three weeks of receiving it should contact their health care provider.  According to the CDC and FDA, some of the symptoms are extreme headache, stomach pain, leg pain, or shortness of breath.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine investigation arrives at a crucial time for the Covid-19 vaccine rollout. Vaccine stocks, which were low earlier this year, are beginning to replenish; instead of long lines, some jurisdictions report unclaimed shots.

This was to be predicted; it was previously understood that among the hordes of people desperate to be vaccinated were those who were concerned about receiving recently founded vaccinations, as well as those who would reject vaccines under any circumstances. The challenge would be persuading the former to get vaccinated in the face of news of a possible association between certain Covid vaccines and a serious side effect.

Despite this, vaccination with the AstraZeneca vaccine continues in several nations, but some have put restrictions on who may obtain it, reserving it for older adults who have not experienced these side effects.

‘HOLY SHEET’

I don’t mean to toss around accusations, but it appears your skirt isn’t even really a skirt sir. Looks like a bedsheet you stole from a hospital if I had to guess.

HAVE A GREAT DAY ALL!!!
