NEW MUSIC: Pharrell’s N.E.R.D. Joining Forces For “Squeeze Me” Track for “Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water”
Pharrell Williams and his N.E.R.D. band mates are reuniting on record for the upcoming “Spongebob Movie: Sponge Out of Water.”
Check out the details: Titled “Squeeze Me,” the record marks the N.E.R.D.’s first new song since releasing their 2010 album “Nothing.” Earlier this month, N.E.R.D. member, Chad Hugo, compared the song to The Beatles hit, “Yellow Submarine,” calling it a “psychedelic, otherworldly type of thing.” While “Squeeze Me” has already arrived online, it won’t be officially released until January 5th.

The State Of California HITS Solange With A $55K Tax Lien
Three days after she walked down the aisle to wed Alan Ferguson in New Orleans, the state of California gifted Solange Knowles Ferguson with a $55K tax lien.
According to a new report from TMZ, the state of CA claims she owes more than $55,000 in taxes for 2010-12. Sigh...we're sure this was a clear oversight on the part of her accountants as they were all swept up in the moments of her TRUE EP. This will all be settled before her next disc drops....
And now that Solange is the new face of the ElevenParis Spring/Summer ’15 Ad Campaign, we hope her team is keeping track of all the checks...

Suge Knight has had a very hard 2014, he was shot while at a Grammy party hosted by Chris Brown, but didn’t want to snitch on who shot him and he showed support for Lil Wayne wanting to leave Cash Money..
TMZ got a video of Suge Knight basically threatening Drake to never leave Lil Wayne or he will have him killed(you know like he had tupac killed for trying to leave him).

It seems that not even “the happiest place on Earth” could put soulful singer Christina Aguilera in a good mood! The former The Voice coach went off on one of the country’s beloved characters, Mickey Mouse. Apparently, he made the diva wait and she was NOT having it!
Check out the details: Singer Christina Aguilera went off on Mickey Mouse at California’s Disney Land resort! Aguilera was there to celebrating her 34th birthday with friends. Her and crew wanted to take a picture with the beloved Disney character, when she was told she had to wait! It seems Mickey was due for his 15 minute break.
Well, the former Mouseketeer was NOT having it! She went off on Mickey. She called him an “a**hole” and even asked him “Do you know who I am?” Poor Mickey had to be escorted to the safety zone and security was called. However, before anything could actually be done, Aguilera and her crew dipped!
Talk about a sight to see! Hopefully, no other Disney characters were harmed or cussed out!

50 Cent Accuses FOX’s ‘Empire’ Of Copying His ‘Power’ Marketing
You gotta hand it to 50 Cent: at least most of his trash-talking has to do with his business ventures.
Reports Vibe: In his latest comments, 50 Cent accuses FOX’S upcoming series Empire, starring Taraji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, of copying the marketing scheme for his Starz series, Power. Taking to Instagram, the rapper/mogul promoted the upcoming second season of Power. Noting that he “likes” Henson and Howard, he also pointed out what he didn’t like:
“POWER Season 2 is unbelievably good trust me. I have the best writers and show runner. I like Terrence howard and Taraji Henson. I don’t like that They would copy the Marketing.”
Empire is the story of a record label executive who finds out he has three months to live and must get his affairs in order with his company. Power chronicles the life a drug lord who secretly wants to leave the game and earn a legal living. Both shows will hit the small screen in 2015.

Not a big surprise hear as Kanye is named GQ Most Stylish Man of The Year. Really who is pushing the boundaries as hard as this man. The poll does not lie.
GQ had a poll to see who the Most stylish man of 2014 was and it came down to Mr. West & Idris Elba. Kanye edged him out in the end but you can’t take anything away from Elba’s effortless style. Both winners.
Azealia Banks VS Action Bronson...REDUX
Azealia Banks is back on Twitter going at it with a white rapper. It isn’t her usual nemsis Iggy Azalea this time, but rather Queens rapper Action Bronson.
Following a previous heated Twitter exchange, Azealia Banks and Action Bronson are back it again. The two first came social media insults after the Broke With Expensive Taste raptress’ infamous Ebro In The Morning interview, where she talked about whites using black culture for financial gain. Their exchange ended in A LOT of name calling and obscenities.

Poor People of Michigan: Trial Period For Drug Testing Welfare Program Signed Into Law
Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder has signed some controversial legislation that calls for drug testing of people on welfare. The program will be used in three counties during a one-year trial period.
Reports My Fox Detroit: Earlier this month, Snyder said he was not sure if he would sign off on the law but now he’s making it official.
Welfare recipients suspected of using drugs will be offered treatment first. Those who refuse will lose their benefits for six months. Repeat offenders or those refusing to be tested will lose their benefits for six months. Those who test positive for drugs will be referred to a treatment program. If another test shows they are drug free, benefits will be restored.
There are currently about 80,000 people in Michigan on welfare. In 2007 in Michigan were about 68,000 welfare recipients.
