Brittney Griner Signs Endorsement With Nike
The number one pick in the WNBA draft, Brittney Griner, also just signed her first endorsement deal with Nike.
Now, the first NCAA player to block 500 shots has landed an exclusive endorsement deal with Nike. Lindsay Kagawa Colas, Griner’s sports agent, confirmed the news with USA Today Sports.
Aside from her stellar athletic ability, Griner is also widely known for her decision to openly discuss her sexuality with Sports Illustrated, “coming out of the closet.”
“It wasn’t too difficult. I wouldn’t say I was hiding or anything like that. I’ve always been open about who I am and my sexuality… If I can show that I’m out and I’m fine and everything’s OK, then hopefully the younger generation will definitely feel the same way,” she said of her chat with Sports Illustrated.

Also Kelly will be touring in support of her upcoming album, Talk a Good Game, while The-Dream will be promoting his new album IV Play - due May 28.

Attorneys for Michael Jackson's family on Monday accused his concert promoter, AEG, of ignoring 'red flags' about his drug addiction and ill health in a ruthless pursuit of profits.
AEG Live is the second-largest concert promoter in the nation and Jackson
'They wanted to be No. 1 at all costs,' he said.
Monday marked the beginning the trial for a wrongful death suit brought by the Kind of Pop's mother, Katherine Jackson, who claims AEG executives ordered Dr Conrad Murray to heavily medicate Jackson
The wrongful-death suit contends the entertainment firm threatened to end Jackson ’s career if he failed to come through with the concerts and ordered Murray
AEG officials have denied any wrongdoing, and the company's lawyers have said executives could not have foreseen the circumstances that led to the physician giving Jackson
AEG's attorney Marvin S. Putnam, however, said the singer's guarded private life meant the company was unaware that he was using powerful drugs.
'The truth is, Michael Jackson fooled everyone,' Putnam said. 'He made sure that no one, nobody, knew his deepest darkest secrets.'

Chris Brown has perhaps given fans an insight into his turbulent personal life after releasing a new track 'I Can't Win' as the rumours that he has once again split from on/off girlfriend Rihanna rage on.
The 'Fine China' singer has been unusually active on his Twitter page this week, dropping hints that his rollercoaster relationship with RiRi is on the rocks yet again after he 'unfollowed' the 'Diamonds' singer on his account.
As if that wasn't telling enough of the status of their romance, Chris posted a link to a track titled 'I Can't Win,' which he claims hasn't made it onto the final cut of his upcoming album, 'X' which will be released on July 15.
“S**t is overrated now a days,” Chris tweeted on Monday. “Just remember to keep ya muthaf***in head up.”
Beside the link to the track, Chris wrote: “Some s**t I felt like writing that's not on the album.” Lyrics in the song include: “Tell me what did I do to make you hate me so much? Why you angry all the time? Why you don't wanna ride for me?
“Don't let this s**t come between us, I'm wrong you're right. It's okay with my heart, but it's not how it's supposed to be.”
Meanwhile, it seems Rihanna may be trying to get under Chris' skin if the reports are true after photos emerged on Instagram of the singer smooching a male fan, while in another shows the guy giving her one back by kissing her cheek.
"Me & the wife @Badgalriri out here tonight," the mystery man wrote in a caption.

Kevin Ware quits Twitter and calls TMZ 'losers' after being quizzed about his sex life
Louisville Cardinals guard Kevin Ware sustained a gruesome leg injury in a game v Duke on March 31. Since then he has gained thousands of Twitter followers for his positive approach to life.
But on Monday he left the social network for what appears to be two main reasons - a team Twitter ban and some unwanted attention from TMZ.
Ware tweeted: 'This is my last tweet. All the support from fans was well appreciated but its a team rule. Losers like tmz is a prime example why I don't.'
Ware attended the White House Correspondent’s Dinner with girlfriend Brittany Kelly on Saturday.
He was then intercepted in an airport by a TMZ photographer, who asked him what had been difficult since his injury, which left a bone protruding from his leg and his team-mates sobbing on the court.
When Ware was asked if it has 'slowed down the sex life', the college star laughs and says no.
