Usher Sued by Ex-Nanny (Cecilia Duncan) for Non-Payment
*Uh oh, Usher‘s got female problems again.
Usually it’s his ex-wife, Tameka Raymond, puttin’ her foot up his proverbial you-know-what.
Well this time it’s his nanny, er, ex-nanny. Cecilia Duncan is her name and she’s suing Usher for not paying her all the work she did for him, she claims.
Duncan claims the singer hired her in December 2010 as a part-time nanny and she put in some serious hours – often exceeding 40 hours a week- taking care of his (and Tameka’s) two sons (aged 4 and 5), according to a lawsuit obtained by TMZ.
As far as Cecilia’s concerned, she put in mucho overtime without getting overtime compensation. She even spoke with Usher about the issue in 2011 she says.
The lawsuit goes on the say that Usher kept ignoring her complaints for more than a year, and terminated her employment last September. But he still didn’t pay her the overtime she claims he owes.
Yep, you guessed it, she’s suing for wrongful termination, failure to pay wages, and more — demanding unspecified damages. Basically she’s looking for 6 figures to go away.
