WHITNEY AND JORDAN TALKS “SPARKLE”

Jordin Sparks and Whitney Houston play a mother-daughter team on-screen in the upcoming Sparkle movie. But it was their real-life mother/daughter style relationship that had each other gushing on the set. Deets and first official still inside...

Jordin, Whitney, Cee-Lo, Derek Luke and many others will be starring in the 2012 remake of the 1963 Sparkle movie. And now that the cast has wrapped shooting in Detroit, 22-year-old Jordin revealed how great 

Whitney was on the set. She told People magazine:

She was so cool and very motherly toward me. If I ever looked like I needed something, here she came saying 'Are you okay?' "

"I sang her songs into a hairbrush when I was little. Now she's acting as my mom and scolding me. It was a dream come true."

And Whitney, who battled her own drug addiction in real life and is re-visiting the issue in this movie, talked about her excitement saying:

"Part of the fun of making this movie is definitely the costumes and the hairstyles. The movie is set in 1963, and we had a great wardrobe, hair and makeup person and I loved wearing the outfits."

The movie is in theaters August 10th.

Heidi and Seal….OVER?...YUP!

New claims have emerged that Heidi Klum is divorcing her husband Seal because of his hard partying.
Hollywood's golden couple and their management are still yet to comment on yesterday's reports of a split, but a source has said their relationship was in trouble because the singer was 'off the rails'.
The tension is believed to have started when the pair holidayed with their three children, and Heidi's daughter from a previous relationship, in Ibiza in August.

A source said: 'They were always the couple everybody strived to be but lately it all started to change.
'Seal seems to have been partying a lot more often than usual.

'When they had their holiday in Ibiza last summer, Seal hit it hard, was out at clubs and with his friends a lot and Heidi was left with their kids trying to enjoy herself. The cracks were appearing and everybody was talking during that trip. He seemed off the rails.'
The insider added: 'They've spent a lot of time apart too on work assignments and that hasn't helped matters.
'Then when Seal came back to the UK to do promotional work for his next album, he seemed sleepy and not with it on shows like Loose Women, when he was very late for his appearance.'

German-born Heidi, 38, is reportedly expected to file papers at Los Angeles’ County Superior Court this week citing irreconcilable differences between the pair who married at Seal’s beachfront home in Mexico in 2005.

A spokesman for the former Victoria’s Secret model yesterday said a statement was being prepared which would be released imminently.
A spokesman for Seal, 48 – real name Seal Henry Samuel – did not return calls but a cryptic message posted on the singer’s Twitter page on Friday read: ‘The End.’ 

The message was attached to a picture that appeared to show the star’s forearm bearing an imprint of a set of wings – a possible reference to Miss Klum’s role as a Victoria’s Secret winged ‘Angel’ model.
The split paves the way for a multi-million-pound divorce battle between the golden couple.
They have three children together – Henry, six, Johan, five, and Lou, two – as well as Miss Klum’s daughter Leni, seven, from a previous relationship with Italian businessman Flavio Briatore.
Heidi, one of the world’s most in-demand models, is reported to have earned more than £12 million in the past year alone.
Seal, who is best known for his Kiss From A Rose single, has sold more than 20 million albums and won three Brit Awards and three Grammys in a career spanning 20 years.

The couple own a home in Mexico and an 8.4 million mansion in Los Angeles. Yesterday there was no sign of them at the LA house, which is set in an exclusive gated community in Mandeville Canyon, in the Hollywood Hills.

However, According to a People magazine source, the "Project Runway" beauty and her "Kiss From a Rose" singer hubby have definitely hit a rough patch - but aren't yet ready to pull the plug.
Citing time apart and jealousy on Seal's behalf over Heidi's career success as the causes behind the turmoil, the People insider told, "They've been fighting a lot lately, but they have no plans to announce a split right now,. They're not divorcing."

With the pair said to be back together in Brentwood at the current time, the source added, "They seem to be doing a lot better. They're both wearing their wedding bands."....UPDATE Heidi filed for a separtion Monday in L.A Superior Court

Both women were brilliant in The Help, which the magazine calls one of the best film performances of the 2011.Octavia who won the Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Supporting Role in a Motion Picture revealed that unlike her character Minny in The Help she is not a wiz in the kitchen. “I don’t know how to cook or bake or prepare anything in the kitchen, and my character, ­Minny, is a fantastic cook,” she said.

Is Isaiah Washington’s Wife is beating chicks down for being up in her Hubby’s Face?

Slapping chicks up in the club for talking to your man sounds like something that would go down on an episdoe of VH1′s ‘Love & Hip Hop,’ but it was former Grey’s Anatomy actor Isaiah Washington’s wife Jenisa Marie Garland who was spotted putting the hand of God on her make up artist recently. According to eye witnesses, Merc Arceneaux [the make up artist] was assaulted after Jenisa saw her chatting it up with Isaiah while at Club Deep in Hollywood.

“Jenisa marched up to Merc while she was chatting with Isaiah and said, ‘Really, Merc? Really?. She threw a drink in Merc’s face. And when Merc said to Isaiah, ‘Talk to your wife,’ Jenisa slapped Merc across the face.”

There’s got to be something deeper there. She can’t just be randomly slapping up women who talk to her husband. Star Magazine reached out to Merc who told them “[Jenisa] had no right to put her hands on me,” however, she didn’t get into the details of what led up to the tantrum.

“My feelings are hurt — I never received an apology.”

Isaiah’s wife may have been drinking on that ‘Naomi Campbell Juice’, that night. Looks like she’ll have to find a new make up artist.

As far as Isaiah, he was allegedly blacklisted in Hollywood after being fired from Grey’s Anatomy for using a homophobic slur towards a cast mate. Since then, he has released a book titled: ‘A Man From Another Land: How Finding My Roots Changed My Life’ in which he explored issues of self-image, race and identity. He is now focused on Philanthropy work in Africa.

Quite unfortunately, reports of ghostwriting within Female Rap seem to be showing no signs of dying down.
Indeed, despite the critical acclaim awarded to the likes of ‘Left Eye’, Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott for penning their own music, many Femcees have come under fire for using ’ghostwriters‘ to discreetly create their look and sound for them.

2012 Producers Guild Awards: The Show, The Winners

Toasting the head honchos of Hollywood movies and television, the stars turned up for the 23rd Annual Producers Guild Awards in Beverly Hills, California

Shuffling through the arrivals area at the Beverly Hilton Hotel venue were big names including Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt, George Clooney, Evan Rachel Wood, Jessica Chastain and Sofia Vergara.

With Alicia Keys offering up a gorgeous performance, other celebs at the annual event included Viola Davis, Shailene Woodley, Michael Rappaport, Ellie Kemper, Judy Greer, Neil Patrick Harris, Zachary Quinto, Tobey Maguire, Jason Segel, Warren Beatty, Annette Bening, Kathy Bates, Melissa McCarthy, Missi Pyle, Penelope Ann Miller and Judd Apatow.

During the ceremony, "The Artist" took home the top prize for movies and "Boardwalk Empire" triumphed in the television category while other honorees included Leslie Moonves (Milestone Award), Steven Spielberg (David O. Selznick Achievement Award), Don Mischer (Norman Lear Achievement Award), "In the Land of Blood and Honey" (The Stanley Kramer Award) and Stan Lee (Vanguard Award).

Fat Joe's Wife Lorena Cartagena SPLITS, Because HE CHEATED!

It's a WRAP for Fat Joe and wife, Lorena (Rios) Cartagena! A source claims that Lorena is splitting, and cheating is the cause of the breakup.
The hip-hop couple has been together for 17 years but it’s ALL OVER according to sources who spoke to The YBF.com
Lorena was down with Terror Squad head honcho Fat Joe, real name Joseph Antonio Cartagena, before his recent mega weight loss, but apparently he got a little too confident and stepped out on his wife one too many times.

Joe has allegedly been having a year long affair with a 26 year old woman from Dubai, who goes by the uber original name "Ms. Dubai." She resides in Miami--where Joe, Lorena, and their 5-year-old daughter live as well. And Joe has supposedly flown her to several places with him and even brought her out in public to parties and such.

But it sounds like the soon-to-be-ex-Mrs. Cartagena is handling the stressful situation well. A friend tells us:
Happy to say, Lorena is fine and well at this point and as stressful as the situation has been for her, she has a lot of peace with just raising her daughter.

So how did Lorena find out about Ms. Dubai? Through text messages, of course. We're told the alleged pics of Joe and his mistress were sent to Lorena’s phone from a very close friend close to the Terror Squad crew.

The couple spent New Year's Eve together at a party in Miami. But Lorena flew solo to a party for Stephon Marbury's wife, Tasha, just last week.

Ashanti Ends Feud With Ja Rule

Ashanti has reportedly ended her feud with Ja Rule after years of declining to even talk to each other.
Ashanti recently revealed that they have managed to sort out things before Ja Rule began his four-year prison term last year. Ashanti told The Rickey Smiley Morning Show, that they had a three-and-a-half hour conversation.

INTERVIEW:

Ashanti and Ja Rule were extremely close in early 2000 after being featured on each other’s music and she was labeled “Queen of Murder Inc.” Rumors say that the two were dating. But for some unknown reasons they split apart. Cheating??????

Ashanti said,
“That’s my brother. I love him and I hope he’s doing well. I think he’s in good spirits. We’ve all been through a lot. We’ve all grown. We’ve all learned.”
“We were all young starting out in the industry. We hashed out a lot of stuff and we needed that,” she added.

OPRAH’S BODYGUARDS DETAINED IN INDIA

Oprah Winfrey’s bodyguards where briefly detained by Indian police, after a scuffled with local TV journalists Thursday. Police detained three of the guards after local journalists said their video equipment had been damaged in a brawl. No one was reported hurt, and there was no indication that the American bodyguards were involved.

The three guards were released after apologizing in a letter to the journalists. Oprah had been traveling with both American and Indian bodyguards while visiting the Hindu pilgrimage town of Mathura, about 90 miles south of Delhi. Its Oprah’s first trip to India, where she has been filming her new show “Oprah’s Next Chapter.”

Swizz Beatz’ Megaupload Site Shut Down By The Feds

This internet piracy issue is no joke, and with thousands of sites going ‘black’ in protest of SOPA and PIPA, surprisingly it’s Swizz Beatz who’s in the middle of a serious legal battle with Universal Music Group, the FBI and the Justice Department. Most people don’t know that Swizz has ties to Megaupload, one of the world’s largest internet file-sharing sites, (the site’s About Us page listed Swizz as CEO) and now the website has been accused of being responsible for costing the film, music and television industry more than $500 million in revenue.

According to NYMag, the FBI has not only shut down the website that was once ranked the 13th largest in the world, but they’ve indicted seven and arrested four people on charges that include “conspiracy to commit racketeering and criminal copyright infringement” (Swizz dodged a bullet on that one and hasn’t been charged…yet). The Justice Department claims that the website has made “more than $175 million in criminal proceeds and causing more than $500 million in harm to copyright owners.”

Megaupload being locked down by the FEDS isn’t even the end of Swizz’s problems. He still has to face UMG after he recruited his friends like Kanye, Diddy and Will.i.am to appear in the ‘Megaupload Mega Song’ promo video marketing the site that went viral last year. His celeb friends praised Megaupload as the file-sharing site they “love” to use, meanwhile, Universal said they didn’t give any of their artists approval to endorse any other company — especially one that has a reputation of hijacking albums illegally. They are now suing Swizz and Megaupload after their ‘take-down’ notices for the promo video went ignored.

Other artists featured in the online promo included; Snoop Dogg, Jamie Foxx, Serena Williams, Macy Gray Lil Jon, Floyd Mayweather, The Game, Kim Kardashian, Mary J. Blige, Chris Brown and Swizz’s wife Alicia Keys.

As of today, Swizzy was not named in the indictment and doesn’t appear to have any equity in the company. Looks like he dodged a bullet…

TRISTAN WILDS FEATURED IN COMPLEX MAGAZINE — AND DISCUSSES HIS ROLE IN “RED TAILS”

Tristan Wilds, one of the stars of George Lucas’ new film, Red Tails, and star of 90210, is feature in the January issue of Complex magazine. In the feature, he talks about actor’s boot camp the cast of “Red Tails” experience before shooting began on the film and trying to make it in music without the help of good-friend Jay-Z. Tristan is also busy these days promoting the film, “Red Tails.” Last night in Los Angeles, he made a surprise appearance at a midnight screening of the film, the first 20 fans were given free admission. 

On Meeting George Lucas and the Tuskegee Airmen:
When I first met George [Lucas], I was like, “Yo, this is the guy who created all of my favorite movies! Star Wars! Indiana Jones!”… But the people I was most intimidated to meet were the actual Tuskegee Airmen. We sat down and talked with them, trying to understand who they were and what they went through. We all wanted to get their blessings to do their story and, at the end of the day, they gave us the thumbs-up.

On boot camp before the shooting of the film:
If I ever had an ego, doing boot camp would’ve knocked it out the park. For five days, two very strict drill sergeants told us what to do, what to eat, what to wear, and we had to do everything in a timely manner, precisely and perfectly. Our lives were in their hands… But the worst part was the workouts. I had to lose 10 pounds before shooting started; the drill sergeants made sure I did. I did a lot of running. A lot.

On filming in another country:
There weren’t many black guys in Croatia or Prague, where we filmed Red Tails. They looked at us like we were different. They didn’t know what it was… But I think it helped to film the movie there because there is such a cultural barrier. There’s the language, of course, but they even eat differently. It set up the whole movie for me, the sense of being looked at as different. And the girls definitely loved us.

On his friendship with Jay-Z:
I’m very close to Jay-Z. I’m a cousin, but it’s like twice removed. He treats me like a nephew. It’s the greatest thing ever… But one thing I’ve learned from Uncle Jay is that he’s adamant about making your own mark, so that’s one thing I’ve always wanted to do. I’ve got to pursue a music career on my own. I want to be where he is one day, but I definitely have to work at that and I gotta be the best me.
