Your Favorite Celebs attended the Trumpet Awards 20th anniversary at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta, GA.

Bobby Brown was there with wife Alicia and son Cassius.

Aretha Franklin posed with singer Tyrese.

Rev. Run walked the red carpet.

And "BBW:LA" star Gloria Govan looked happily single.

Emmit and Pat Smith took a lovely pic together.

Eddie Levert looked dapper.

The awards also brought out the elements, Earth,Wind & Fire.

Veteran actor Clifton Davis was there.

And actor Blair Underwood also attended.

The Trumpet Awards will air on April 8, 2012 on TVOne.

Brother of Cowboys wide receiver shot on New York street clings to life in critical condition

The brother of Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Kevin Ogletree is fighting for his life after being shot in the head in broad daylight Friday afternoon in New York.

Calvin Ogletree, 25, is believed to have been shot during an argument over money outside his Queens luxury car rental shop, according to sources to the New York Daily News.
His younger brother Kevin, 24, took to Twitter immediately following, asking supporters, 'pray everyone please.'

The victim was transported to Jamaica Hospital and listed in critical condition
Two suspects who are still at large were seen fleeing the scene on bicycles around 3pm.
'I heard one or two pops,' a man who works near the rental shop described to the New York Daily News.
'I didn't know if it was gunshots. Then I saw some excitement. I got a streak of fear. I saw a bunch of people running and screaming,' he recalled.
Calvin Ogletree's company, Calli Exotic Car Rental, had just opened last July.
It specializes in both affordable and luxury rentals in Queen's St Albans neighbourhood.

While his younger brother is now a professional football player in Texas, the two brothers grew up in Queens while attending high school there.

He earned the Daily News' Newsday Player of the Year before attending the University of Virginia.
In 2009 he was the only rookie free agent to make the cut for the Dallas Cowboys' active roster.

Who Is Azealia Banks? And her DISS of Nicki Minaj?

There’s a new rap chick on the block. She’s raw, witty and Kanye West is a huge fan.

During his big DJing debut in Vegas on New Years, Ye played Azealia Banks’s single “212″ and called her “the future of music.” The video for the quick-tongued and raunchy track already has Youtube views above 1.7 million, yet many people have never heard of the Harlem-bred artist.

In addition to being booked for the upcoming Coachella concert festival and placing third (right behind Frank Ocean) on the BBC’s 2012 Ones To Watch list, Azealia has been getting copious amounts of love from indie-music blogs for her “212″ performance and a recent track she crafted called “Liquorice.” Both songs show off Azealia’s love of mixing animated hip-hop with pulsating house music beats and reggae melodies. She can rap, she can sing and she’s not afraid to acknowledge her weave. The lyrics are creative, conceptual and painted with a lot of gay lingo. These are observations.

All we know is, she recently alluded to being signed to G.O.O.D. Music on her Twitter account, and she also got into some twitter beef with Kreayshawn last week after Kreay Kreay posted a to link to Azealia’s “212″ video being hosted on a porn site. Azealia took complete offense to it and went completely in, tweeting “@Kreayshawn you’re a whack b*tch and you can’t rap. I’ll sit on your face. … Fall back slut.”

She’s also quick to shut down Nicki Minaj comparisons:

“She’s only had one album, and she’s only been famous for a year, so she doesn’t have that big of a legacy for me to be the new her. She’s her and I’m me.”….OUCH!

Big Meech Shutting Down 'BMF WIVES' Reality Show

Big Meech lets it be known from behind the wall that the BMF Wives reality show being shopped is a fraud and that he and his team have nothing to do with it.

The head of The Black Mafia Family is currently locked up for running a drug cartel and is shutting this mess down before it starts. His mother hit up Twitter and voiced her son's opinions.

Straight From The A also conducted an interview with CEO of BMF Entertainment, Tammy Cowins, who further voiced Meech's words and Tonesa Welch's claims of being "First Lady Of BMF" since she was the former girlfriend of one of BMF's leaders, and Big Meech's brother, Terry Flenory.

"She [Welch] can say whatever she wants about her relationship with Terry [Flenory - Meech's Brother] in California… but she CANNOT corroborate or say ANYTHING about BMF.

All these rumors about she's a “wife”… she's a “first lady”… this and that… no. She's not.

I OWN BMF Entertainment… “I” Tammy Cowins! And we're not trying to have our brand associated with a reality show.
Meech's mom wants to talk to you so she can get it out there and I want to get it out there that you've talked to the owner of BMF entertainment and the movie is in full swing ahead and we're not sure where these fictitious rumors are coming from.

Meech has never been married… Terry has never been married. There's never been a woman to be a FLENOOY besides Miss. Lucille and their kids.

So at the end of that day, that's who gets the recognition as being the “First Lady” of BMF.

The girlfriends of some of the incarcerated BMF members came up with the bright idea for a reality show. There have also been reports about BMF's story being turned into a Hollywood film so I'm pretty sure the powers that be don't want this minstrel show tarnishing their chances for that. We'll see how this unfolds but this is a classic example of when those checks stop coming in.

Rappers be warned, especially if you are in Atlanta. Duct Tape Entertainment got the streets on lock and if you have been sitting on any kind of Hi-Hop throne, the targets on you.
As previously reported, Duct Tape's Alley Boy had some choice words for T.I. misrepresenting the streets of Atlanta and his patna Pesci spits some more truths on a few more rappers living outside the A as well.

The ATL rappers goes in on Eminem, Lil Wayne and Drake:

"And they say the best rapper is that Kra***a and this Ni^^^a Drake is a actor. ... They lamer than Wayne, banging a flame/ Man the Pu**y ain't never banged a thang."

He also points out Jeezy getting his chain taken and T.I. snitching to get his freedom. 2 Chainz and Gucci Mane are also fired at as he spits more bars like,

Celebs and Cast attend “The Game” Premier in LA

The Game is BACK!!!! Season 5 began yesterday on BET. There were a lot of surprises. Last week during an interview with “Rosie Perez” Wendy Williams slipped out that Brittany Daniel (Kelly Pitts) will not be returning. And that’s and she spoke on it as well. She said “I was a series regular before and now I’m just a reoccurring character on the show,” Britanny told Vibe magazine. “We did 13 episodes and I’m just contracted to do six.”


She was less than pleased to find out that her role had been reduced when the show switched from the CW to BET, but she took one for the team because “The Game” wouldn’t be the same without her.


“I wasn’t happy about it. I wanted to do all the episodes, but I think it was a financial thing,” Brittany said. “The reason I came back to do the show is that I love the show. And I love, love the people that I work with, so even though it came down to [my reduced role] I had to be supportive of the rest of the cast.”



Brittany said she would have preferred to do the whole season, but there’s speculation that cutting her character Kelly from half of the shows may have to do with Coby Bell. It wasn’t clear whether the actor, who plays Kelly’s ex-husband Jason Pitts, would even be back for this season as he’d gotten a job on USA’s “Burn Notice.” When BET was able to secure Coby for “The Game” last year, it was initially as a recurring character. 


And NOT to my Surprise Singer/Actor Brandy Norwood will be a new cast member!!

'I always figured that my momma gave me a name with all those syllables because I put her through so much pain,' says Kelly. When she was seven, her mother Doris Rowland Garrison left her violent, alcoholic father Christopher Lovett and relocated to Houston, Texas, with little Kelly in tow. Despite recent attempts by her father for reconciliation, she hasn't spoken to him since.

Huge installations of everything u can imagine from oversized polaroid cameras to cars shoved into a hole. Huge 10 foot tall spray cans and Darth Vador made out of tires and one of my personal favorites, his crazy cool broken record series where iconic pictures are made out of broken records. Everyone will love this exhibit. All ages. It’s like a fun house!;-) if you went already or if u get a chance to go, tell me what u think!
