Pro Wrestler Who Hid HIV Status From Sex Partners Sentenced To 32 Years

A few months ago I reported that a professional wrestler infected a lot of women with HIV. Yesterday we found out that he was sentenced to 32 years for having sex with 11 women and giving them HIV. Andre Davis, 29 who wrestled under the stage names “Gangsta of Love” and “Sweet Sexy Sensation” was convicted of felonious assault,

Davis argued in court that he’s a “sex addict” who was too “scared” to tell anyone he had HIV, and that he didn’t intend to hurt anyone. “I am a loving and compassionate man. I’m not a monster,” he said. But a prosecutor called him a “manipulative man and a liar.”

State law requires those who test positive for HIV to inform their sex partners of their status.
Davis could have been sentenced to up to 100 years in prison. He was bounced by World Wrestling Entertainment when he tested positive for HIV in 2009.
Davis plans to appeal his conviction, according to AP. Prosecutors did not reveal if any of Davis’ sexual partners contracted HIV from him.

FOLKS WRAP IT UP!
