TOO WONG FOO?Chen strikes again: Will comedian Sheryl Underwood be the next target of Julie Chen's wrath on The Talk?
Out? Sheryl Underwood is reportedly being axed from The Talk
Out? Sheryl Underwood is reportedly being axed from The Talk

Without you: The show returned for its second season today without Holly Robinson Peete
No sooner has a new season of The Talk began than it is already claiming another victim.
Not content with allegedly being behind the firings of Leah Remini and Holly Robinson Peete, moderator Julie Chen is already trying to axe comedian Sheryl Underwood from the panel.
And not only that, but she cannot wait for Saturday Night Live's Molly Shannon's guest-hosting gig to end, according to the Enquirer.
'Julie believes they made a mistake by adding Sheryl to the panel. She thinks Sheryl's comedy is too crude for daytime TV', a source told the magazine.

'Julie doesn't mince words - she says Sheryl's vulgar style isn't a good fit.'
According to the Enquirer she was particularly upset when Sheryl made light of a discussion about suicide during a talk about Russell Armstrong.
Julie Chen, 41, is married to CBS chief Les Moonves.

After Holly and Leah were told their services were no longer needed on the last panel, it was alleged that Chen was warning her co-hosts that her husband could fire them.
Sharon Osbourne, who went on a break to spend time with her husband and is also reported to have clashed with Chen, has returned to the show.
Partners: CBS President Les Moonves and wife, Julie Chen, at the August 22 screening of God Bless Ozzy Osbourne in Hollywood, California
The source told the Enquirer: 'Julie didn't like Holly and Leah, and now she's made it obvioyus that she's not happy with Sheryl and Molly.

'At this point it looks like it may turn into the 'Julie, Sara and Sharon show.'
The Talk, which features a panel of hosts discussing controversial maternal topics and current news, premiered in October, 2010, with co-hosts, creator and executive producer Sara Gilbert, 36, Chen as the moderator, Leah Remini, 41, Holly Robinson Peete, 46, Sharon Osbourne, 58, and Marissa Jaret Winokur, 38, as a special correspondent.
Winokur was asked to leave the show in January.

Original cast: (Clockwise from L) Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne, Julie Chen, Marissa Jaret Winokur, show creator Sara Gilbert and Leah Remini
A source told the New York Post Chen is wreaking havoc on the set with cast changes, with insiders referring to the show as 'the Les Moonves show starring his annoying wife'.
Chen's husband Les Moonves, 61, has been President and CEO of CBS since January, 2006, previously serving as co-president and co-COO of Viacom.

He is widely recognised as one of the most influential leaders in the entertainment industry.
A CBS spokesman had not responded to request for comment at press time..

WHAT HAPPENED AT CLASS TODAY?: Only 3 States Teach Civil Rights History?
When most people think of Civil Rights the only people that come to mind are Rosa Parks , Malcolm X and Dr. Martin Luther King. Could this be because our school systems are “dumbing down” our education? Don’t African Americans have the right to be taught our history? The Southern Poverty Law Center is dedicated to fighting hate and discrimination, and to seeking justice for the most vulnerable members of our society. They recently did a study called Teaching the Movement: The State of Civil Rights Education 2011, which examined state standards and curriculum requirements related to the study of the modern civil rights movement for all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
The study gave grades to each state based on how well the schools academic standards address the civil rights movement. 35 states received an F because their standards required little or no mention of the movement.
8 of the remaining 12 states earning A, B, or C grades were Southern states where major protests, boycotts or violence have taken place. Alabama, Florida and New York were the only states given an A. Those states require detailed teaching about all Civil Rights events.

The study also found that when states teach the civil rights movement, they tend to perform well on teaching leaders and events. They are less likely to include the obstacles that civil rights activists faced, like racism and white resistance, or to mention more than civil rights related-holidays to students before they reach high school.
Teaching Tolerance is dedicated to reducing prejudice, improving intergroup relations and supporting equitable school experiences for our nation’s children. It produces and distributes tools at no cost to teachers, including Teaching Tolerance magazine, online curricula and professional development resources, and multimedia teaching kits that introduce students to various civil rights issues.
Do you feel you learned anything about Civil Rights in school? Do you think that schools further from the south teach the movement less? Give us your feedback and tell us what state your from.

Lil Wayne Covers Vibe’s October Issue
President Carter can add another magazine cover to his collection as he covers “Vibe’s” October edition. Lil Wayne is seen wearing a captain’s outfit so we all have no questions about who controls the YMCMB ship. Between his personal life and hectic business schedule, Wayne stops to talk with Vibe to discuss his competition, fans, and even beef with Jay Z. Read more for a preview from the interview.

Wayne on Jay-z and The ‘Old Guys’ “There’s no competition [with any artists]: Music isn’t about competition no more. All the gangster rappers are happy, all the skateboard rappers are happy, all the white rappers are happy… Everybody just happy to do music these days. There are no problems. That sh*t died a long time ago with them old-ass rappers. We are just making music, making money and having fun feeding our families. Competition is for the old guys.

On if he knew the repercussions of going after Jay-z: Well, I’m a man. I believe as a man you should know that. Every man should know the repercussions and consequences behind whatever they do before they do it. And of course, I know there won’t be any repercussions behind what I did.

Wayne on if he looks at Drake as competition: I don’t look at it like that. Drake is my artist. If he wasn’t my artist, then yeah maybe. But that’s my artist. He’s not [just] a friend. We’re more than friends. It’s business. It would be impossible for it to be a competition. I mean, I’m the guy’s boss.

Wayne on if he thinks Hip Hop helped influence the London Riots: All you could do is pray for the people that were dealing with the situation and hope for the best. As far as them blaming hip-hop, you can blame Jesus for things, so you can’t really fault anybody for blaming someone or something. All you can do is hope for the best.
What do you think of the cover?

L.A Dodger Matt Kemp In FLAUNT Mag, also Talks about His Obsession With Fashion
Pro baseballer Matt Kemp flaunted his abs for FLAUNT magazine recently. Rihanna's ex-boyfriend talked about what he loves in a woman as well
Ladies, Matt flaunted his assets for the new issue of FLAUNT magazine:
And dished about his obsession of fashion and the type of women he's into:

If there is one weakness to Matt Kemp, it’s shopping. We’re not just talking your everyday, garden variety shopping either. Kemp is a power shopper. The way Kemp puts it, Veronica Lodge herself would have a hard time keeping up with him.

Barneys? I suggest, knowingly. He nods. “Yeah, that’s one of my favorites.” What section do you beeline for? “Shoes!” he says. It is the singular moment during this interview when Matt Kemp’s eyes sparkle. “Shoes and clothes, man,” he continues. “I like to look nice when I go places. I think we all do for the most part. You want to walk around feeling good about yourself. In the past year-and-a-half, two years, I got into being around fashionable people. I started to enjoy the things that other people I was around enjoyed like clothes and shoes. It’s fun. I think it’s fun to go into a store and try to figure out what to put with some shoes or your outfit or whatever, and rock it.

“I’m like a chameleon, man,” Kemp continues. “I can switch it up. I can one day be wearing some Jordans or nice retro sportswear with some jeans, a shirt, and a hat, and make that look nice. And then I can wear a collared shirt with some RRL jeans.” He goes on to reference Lanvin and YSL.

Sometimes, I offer, do you go too far?
“Sometimes,” Kemp replies. “There’s times. You’ve got to set a little budget for every month or two for yourself. If you go over that budget, it means that you have do less next month. It’s all about saving money. But looking good at the same time.”
“What do I look for?” he laughs. “I like confident people. I like positive people. Somebody that can make me a better person. Somebody that makes me want to be a better person. Smart. Pretty, of course. Somebody that is close with their family and loves their family just as much as I love my family. Somebody that knows how to dress. It just boils down to being confident and being comfortable in your own skin and the person that you are.”

Somebody that you can go shopping with?
“Definitely,” he says. “Somebody that can help me [shop]. I love looking and seeing what kind of shoes women wear. I think that tells me if a person knows what they’re doing. To me, shoes are…” Kemp trails off. “If I like your shoes, and you’re pretty, that’s a good quality. As well as being confident.”

So Ladies, Do you want to shop with Matt Kemp?

OK Magazine claims Kim Kardashian is pregnant
67411PCN_KimK
It’s hard to keep up with all the stories about Kim Kardashian’s show wedding, but I’ll make a half assed attempt by going through our in-no-way exhaustive archives. Actually, now that I’m looking at the stories it’s quite simple and follows a pattern that mimics the typical tabloid cycle of a “celebrity” relationship, except it goes by in days instead of months and years. 1) Kim and Kris got married, 2) Then they had a blissful honeymoon, 3) Then they were rumored to be having relationship trouble, 4) Now they’re rumored to be pregnant. This will play out with a pregnancy, if possible, a baby for Kim and Kris, then additional relationship trouble, Kris cheating, a divorce and a series of stories about triumphant single mom Kim. Given the timeline so far, I guess we can expect this all to happen in the next two months, biology be damned. The kid will be about five by then but it won’t even be 2012 yet.
So here’s part of OK’s story that Kim is pregnant. She’s not and this is just speculative, like so many other OK fake pregnancy stories in the past that I can’t be bothered to recap. (OK, here’s a highlights post on the ones they’ve done of Jennifer Aniston, since I’m anal like that.)

Kim Kardashian has a lot going on: She’s newly married to Kris Humphries and still figuring out how to be a Mrs.; she’s adjusting to a new town after moving to NYC; and now, there may be another big change. “Kim said she’s late,” a pal tells OK!. “She was supposed to get her period and didn’t.” OK! has the scoop in this week’s new issue, on sale everywhere Thursday!

okkk
It’s a welcome development for the star.
“Kim always thought she’d have several kids by age 30, so in her mind she’s behind schedule.” says an insider.
In fact, says the source, Kim is doing tons of stuff that makes those around her wonder if she already has a secret. “Kim’s been going through all the K names,” says the insider. “She even has a baby-name book and looks up the meaning of each one.”
But that’s not all. OK! also noticed a few of the other reasons why everyone thinks Kim has baby on the way.

[From OK!]
If Kim was pregnant she wouldn’t be going with low budget OK!, she would sell that exclusive, and a bunch of disgusting details about how pukey she’s feeling and how her bowel movements have changed, to either People or US if they would meet her price. This is the girl who sold photos of her engagement. She is a hustler of the highest order.
That said, I wouldn’t be surprised if she’s pregnant. That’s the next step for her and she’s talked about babies enough times.

YALL MoFos forgot something!
That’s right boys and girls. Reagan was more responsible for increasing the countries debt than anyone who came after. Bad actor and worse president.
Well there is an old saying from AA. “If you have a problem and you can’t solve the problem. There is a very good chance that you are the problem.” As Stewart points out the problem is NOT with the GOP candidates, but with those who pick and elect them….
BLAME REAGAN DAMN IT!

Mary J. Blige Covers Paper Magazine, Talks Nina Simone Biopic
Mary J. Blige covers the October issue of PAPER magazine and in it, the diva discusses what will be her most challenging acting role yet, depicting soul singer Nina Simone.
Blige On Nina Simone Comparisons

"Nina was different from me in a lot of ways. She was courageous and confident. I'm just growing into that," said Blige.
"But she was like that ever since she was a little girl -- she was never afraid during a period when there was so much racism. She was always bold. I have a lot to draw from -- all the trials and tribulations and battles. But my God, I hope I can do the work and pull it off."
As previously reported, Blige started filming for the Nina Simone biopic, Nina, earlier this year.
The film is set to hit theaters in 2012.

Ne-yo Shoots “The Way You Move” In Atlanta
This past Tuesday singer Ne-yo was spotted in Atlanta shooting for his video “The Way You Move.” The track features Trey Songz and T-Pain who also turned up for the video shoot. The strip club anthem was filmed at Atlanta’s Diamonds strip club. The song is lifted from his new mixtape “1O1”. “The Way You Move” is said to be a strip club lap dance anthem so it makes perfect sense that the singer decided to use the strip club as the setting for his upcoming video.
I’m no way surprised to find that Trey Songz and T-Pain are a part of the project either. Both of them are very vocal about their love of all things sexual.

The mixtape is just a treat to hold off fans until the release of his fifth studio album. The future looks bright for the singer, as he also announced he will be expecting his second child with Monyetta Shaw. The couple welcomed a new baby girl last year November.
Are you excited to hear new music from Ne-Yo? Judging from the looks of these pictures would you say that Ne-Yo’s upcoming project is something to look forward to?

Rihanna Runs the Streets on Day 2 of ‘We Found Love’ Video Shoot
Rihanna
Rihanna turned up the volume on the second day of her video shoot for “We Found Love” in Northern Ireland. Wearing a denim bra, skirt, and torn stockings, the pop siren got on the megaphone and commanded the crowd. Fans lined the streets of Belfast to get a glimpse of the action, as RiRi ran on the pavement and performed scenes with a white vintage sports car. The shoot continued at night at a fish and chips shop.

The day before, a scantily-clad RiRi shot scenes in an open field, wearing a bandana top and baggy jeans. According to PEOPLE, an Irish farmer who had given her crew permission to use his field, shut down the production and chided the pop star for her “inappropriate” wardrobe.
“I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends,” he said. “Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God.”

Hallmark Introduces Job Loss Sympathy Cards...REALLY?
In these hard economic times, Hallmark is bringing comfort with new job loss sympathy cards. Some of the lines in their new cards state things such as “Don’t think of it as losing your job, think of it as time-out between stupid bosses”. Way to make a sad situation funny, huh? Wondering exactly why the card company decided to make a line just for job lost? NPR Reports show statistics for demands for unemployement-related cards were at an all time high. MSBNC reports on the new cards:
Looks like it’s getting rough out here! Would you give somebody a card like this if they lost their job? What do you think of Hallmark’s decision to create a line such as this?

MAGAZINE FAB: Lenny Kravitz COVERS "THE BLOCK" Magazine, Talks About Living Life In His Trailer
Sexy hard rocker Lenny Kravtiz covers issue no. 25 of lifestyle publication "THE BLOCK." See photos of the 47-year-old inside and get the deets on his latest album...

With his new album Black and White America riding high on the chart, the timelessly stylish rocker, Lenny Kravtiz, talked with "THE BLOCK" about the state of music in the states.
“I’m not happy nobody makes albums anymore. The album is a piece of art. A painting, a sculpture, a book, a photograph. I grew up in a time when albums were monumental. Stevie, Marvin Gaye, Led Zeppelin, Miles Davis, Stones, whatever it might be. They were serious things and they were beautiful. It was a statement, the entire album. Now we have the ability to pick apart the songs. As far as keeping the preservation of the album, it’s the worst thing. It’s like going to buy art and saying, I’ll just take the left corner of the painting in the bottom. I want the foot. Well, the intention was the entire painting.
It’s the same thing with the album.”

He also shared a story about coming up with his own album title.
“I thought of the name while I was watching this documentary about Obama. These people were saying they were going to stop him from being president, saying we got plans, he’s going to be killed, we want to take America back to the way it was 100 years ago. Of course we know racism exists, but when we hear people that are so hateful and ignorant, it’s like really? I want to transcend black and white.”

And if you've ever wondered what happens during a day in the life of Lenny Kravtiz, he says,
Well, I live in a trailer, like a little Airstream on the beach. First thing I do is get out and look at the sky, thank god for the day, get into the water, sit, think, make music, think about where I’m gonna get lunch from. Go to the studio, make some music. In and out. Whatever I feel like doing. Hanging.”

Making sexy time at the piano, Lenny wears a - Sweater, John Varvatos; Pinky Ring, Pamela Love
In this pic, he dons a Hooded sweater, Yigal Azrouël; Trousers, Robert Geller; Necklace, Pamela Love; Belt, Artemas Quibble; Boots, Rick Owens; all other jewelry (worn throughout), Lenny’s own
For this pic, Lenny rocks a Waistcoat, Alexandre Plokhov; T-Shirt, All Saints; Leather Trousers, Julius; Boots, Rick Owens; Gold Necklaces (worn as bracelets), Stephen Dweck

In this photo, Lenny wears - Sweater, Tim Hamilton; Trousers, 3.1 Phillip Lim; Belt, Robert Geller; Hat, Heather Huey; Rings, Lady Grey
FAB!

And finally from “THE CRAZY PEOPLE SHOPPING AT WALMART” FILES
“Aunt Flow”
You would figure she would be smart enough not to wear white after Labor Day OR when she is on her period. Hell, I don’t even have periods but I at least know that!

SEE YA!!!
