URGENT! INTERNET AMBER ALERT! LOOKING FOR MISSING GIRL, JAHESSYE SHOCKLEY
jahessye
N early two weeks after a 5-year-old girl seemingly vanished outside her suburban Phoenix home and despite an $11,000 reward, police were no closer today to figuring out what happened to her as her family criticized the investigation. Jahessye Shockley wandered out of her Glendale, Arizona home on October 11, unnoticed by her older siblings who were supposed to be watching her. Her mother, Jerice Hunter called police after returning home from an errand. On the day she disappeared Jahessye was left home with her 13, 9, and 6-year-old siblings, police said. The children have been interviewed separately by experts and have maintained that they do not know what happened to her, Glendale police Sgt. Brent Coombs has said.

State Child Protective Services removed Jerice Hunter’s three other children from her home following Jahessye’s disappearance but refused to say why. Glendale police say that Jerice, who is eight months pregnant, is not a suspect and that police had nothing to do with the state’s decision to take the children. Jahessye’s family don’t believe that police have given her disappearance enough attention because she’s black and her mother has a criminal history. “We feel that law enforcement is not active in finding Jahessye and that they’re more active in persecuting me instead of finding out where she is,” said Jerice Hunter, Jahessye’s mother.
Police have no evidence, suspects or promising leads, but the case points to a kidnapping because they found no trace of her after combing a 3-mile radius around her home. More than 100 officers and volunteers have looked in pools, garbage bins, and shrubs, interviewed and searched the homes of registered sex offenders in the area, and stopped at every door to spread news about the disappearance.

Shirley Johnson, the girl’s grandmother, said she is wondering why the national media hasn’t spread the word on the case. “I want the national media to pick it up, I won’t stop til they do. I don’t know why it’s not national now,” Shirley Johnson, Jahessye’s worried grandmother said. “They have the ability to make sure someone from across the nation knows what’s going on.”
Jahessye ’s case has been mentioned in the Washington Post and the Huffington Post in recent days. But it has not received much national television coverage compared to cases like Baby Lisa, the 11-month-old missing Missouri girl. That case has received daily national news coverage and has been featured on the cover of People magazine.
jahessye-shockley
Jahessye is described as a black female about 3 feet 5-inches tall, 55 pounds with black hair in a ponytail and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white t-shirt, blue jean shorts and pink sandals. Anyone with information about Jahessye’s disappearance is asked to call the Glendale Police Department at 623-930-HELP (4357).

TRICK OR TREAT! THE EAGLE HAS FINALLY LANDED!!
The team that was praised too early and also buried too early -- just impossible to figure in another confounding NFL season -- arrived Sunday night against the Dallas Cowboys lugging a 2-4 record and all of the imperatives such numbers suggest. They showed up for a game in a stadium filled with people who were wondering if they would ever see the team that they expected/anticipated/salivated over with each new free-agent signing in August.

Then, this:
Eagles 34, Cowboys 7.

vs
It was a night when Chas Henry did not punt until the middle of the fourth quarter. It was a night when the Cowboys’ vaunted run defense was mutilated by Shady McCoy. Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan was the coach who got all of the ink during the week, but it was Eagles offensive coordinator Marty Mornhinweg who ended up being the evening’s unquestioned master. And Michael Vick was a sharp as we have seen him.
All of that, combined with a pass rush that set an early, terroristic tone, turned an expected drama into a farce. It also undoubtedly caught the attention of skeptics who have tut-tutted for weeks now about how the Eagles assembled talent in the off-season but did not assemble a team, and about how there was no way so much roster turnover, combined with so much turnover on the coaching staff, could ever have resulted in the kind of expectations that the Eagles carried into Opening Day.

Jason Babin sacks Tony Romo in the first quarter as Trent Cole provides added pressure. (Ron Cortes/Staff Photographer)LeSean McCoy racked up 185 rushing yards and two touchdowns agains tthe Cowboys. (Yong Kim/Staff Photographer)
All of it, as we now know, is just conversation -- the Dream Team stuff, the snap-back against the Dream Team stuff, all of it. What we are left with is a team struggling to make up an early deficit, yes, but also a team with a lot of ability that is continuing to blossom. They have been good all year on offense, really. They started coming together defensively 2 1/2 games ago, during the loss at Buffalo.
This is the result.

The question: how much of it can they sustain?
There was no way around the notion that the Eagles were going to have to beat the Cowboys in this game, no realistic way to make the numbers work with a loss.
That was pretty much accepted by everyone. What follows is conjecture: that the Eagles probably have to win seven of their remaining nine games. Is it doable? Yes. A guesstimate on the Las Vegas odds is that they could very well be favored in just that many games, seven of nine. But it is all about showing up every week. It is the NFL’s biggest challenge and it is the thing Andy Reid teams are best at, especially in the second half of the season.
So, we’ll see. The NFC East has been reduced to this: the Giants are 5-2 and the Eagles, Cowboys and Redskins are all 3-4. Watching the events of the day -- the Giants surviving at home against the winless Dolphins, the Redskins getting shut out by the Bills, the Cowboys getting obliterated by the Eagles -- it is not hard to envision this: four teams, with four knives, locked in a room with a hearty “good luck” and the expectation that only one of them will emerge.

But which?
The Eagles, for the first time in a while, looked like a team with a chance to do just that. If this did not get the attention of the rest of the league, nothing will. What the Eagles did in this game, more than anything, is demonstrate to the world how good they can be.
The next few weeks will tell us if they showed up in time.

I THINK THEY HAVED!

GO EAGLES!!!

WHAT AN IDIOT!
The Malibu playboy set to lose $70m fortune... after he spent $3m on Michael Jackson collectables as the people of his African country lived on ONE DOLLAR a day
Expensive taste: Son of Equatorial Guinea's president, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue, wearing a shirt emblazoned with his father's face, has reportedly spent $70million of his country's money
He lives a typical Malibu playboy lifestyle - residing in a sprawling beach mansion, has dated rapper Eve and even splashed $3million on Michael Jackson memorabilia.
But now Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue is set to lose it all after it was revealed that the son of Equatorial Guinea's president is being hunted by the U.S. government for looting more than $70 million from his own country.
Mangue, 39, used his position as a government minister to siphon millions of dollars for personal use.
U.S. authorities believe the son of President Teodoro Obiang Nguema, amassed more than $100 million through various schemes while he served as the country's forestry minister.

Among them were demanding companies pay a 'tax' for doing business in Equatorial Guinea as well as providing Mangue with gifts and free services, according to court documents filed in the U.S.
Equatorial Guinea is a country of around 680,000 people which has become a major oil, gas and timber producer, resulting in billions of dollars in revenue.
Despite this fact, the majority of the population live on a dollar a day.
Wacko for Jacko: Mangue is wanted by the U.S. Government for spending his country's resources on Michael Jackson's crystal-covered glove and a basketball signed by the singer
Despite already having a government salary of $6,800 a month, Mangue is accused of tapping into the nation's wealth and indulging his lavish tastes.
Mangue, who is American-educated, spent $30 million on a Malibu mansion, $38.5 million on a Gulfstream jet and $3.2 million on Michael Jackson memorabilia that included a crystal-covered glove from the Bad tour and a basketball signed by the singer and Michael Jordan.
Among the other items purchased by Mangue, according to federal officials, was a 2011 Ferrari valued at more than $530,000.
Life's a beach: The Equatorial Guinea minister is said to have spent $30 million of the country's resources on this extensive Malibu mansion
He also stored 24 luxury cars worth nearly $10 million at the Petersen Automotive Museum in Los Angeles and shipped them to France.
Last year it was reported that Mangue was dating the rapper and actress Eve, spending close to $700,000 to rent Microsoft billionaire Paul Allen's 303-foot yacht Tatoosh to impress her, according to the New York Post.

An email message left for Purificacion Angue Ondo, Equatorial Guinea's ambassador to the U.S., was not immediately returned.
Mangue would give various stories to banks that questioned his large sums of cash, authorities said.
When Nguema opened an account at a California bank in 2007, he claimed that he acquired money from a family inheritance along with trading expensive, custom-made cars.
Meet and greet: The Obamas meet president of Equatorial Guinea Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and his wife Costancia
His father, who has led Equatorial Guinea since 1979, has been accused by Amnesty International of torturing and unjustly imprisoning political opponents.
The U.S. Senate Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations issued reports in 2004 and last year regarding possible corruption by Equatorial Guinea government officials.

The 2010 report found that powerful foreign officials and their families used attorneys, real estate agents and lobbyists to circumvent anti-corruption laws.

In two civil forfeiture complaints, filed in U.S. District Court in Los Angeles and Washington, it is stated that Mangue's assets can be forfeited because he engaged in misappropriation and theft of public funds for his benefit.

Nicki Minaj… Afraid of Sex!?
Yes that’s right Onika Tanya Maraj b.k.a Nicki Minaj was scared of having sex. But how is that possible with all her crazy sexual antics and raunchy lyrics? Let us give you the run down on what she’s talking about, before you jump to conclusions (Which we know you already did)!

In recent months Nicki has been opening up and showing the world that she isn’t a SUPERWOMAN and letting everyone know that she is still human, have fears, and is acceptable to vunerablities! She has unveiled shocking revelations and a number of difficult and detailed child hood experiences with the world. Ranging from paranoia with unlocked doors and sexual intercourse.
Elaborating on her paranoia with unlocked doors... When she was a child after witnessing her allegedly abusive father drag her mother from the seat of a car, down two blocks because she didn’t want to be with him.
Nicki
“My mother left him many different times and came back. He would beg, cry, stalk us… One time, he pulled my mother out of a car and dragged her for two blocks. After that I had a phobia about unlocked doors. Anywhere my mother and I were, I made sure the door was locked, because that was my only way to protect her.” – Minaj
She also confessed about her sexual experiences, she was taught pre-marital sex was bad and was concerned after she had her first sexual encounter she would end up going to hell.
“When I was younger, I felt like I had been taught that pre-marital sex was bad, and so I always felt like if I had pre-marital sex I would go to hell, So when I did, I really felt like, erm… I suppressed that a lot. So I really went through years of trying to make myself feel comfortable. Like, ‘OK, I’m not going to hell. But it was scary at that time I was younger, and you know that’s all I’d been taught. So I spent a lot of time beating myself up.”

I mean don’t feel too bad Nicki Nick, we all felt like that once or twice, But for real, for real. I DON’T BELIEVE YOU!

Women’s Wear Daily reports that Miuccia Prada‘s “eclectic imagination” (to say nothing of her new credit rating) is what drove her to design the jewelry collection, which includes a lot of enamel roses in red and light green, diamonds galore and cuffs made out of shiny crocodile skin. Prices will start around $448, and we’re guessing you won’t see a single precious gem for that much money. You might get a nice swath of leather and the Prada logo on a clasp, though.

THAT’S RIGHT DAMN IT YOU’RE THE MAN WEAR THE PANTS!: Uh-oh: Kris Humphries told Kim Kardashian that they need time away from the cameras
lifestyle1
More fodder for the “Seriously, Kim Kardashian’s marriage isn’t going to make it to Christmas” storyline. Life & Style’s cover story this week is all about Kris Humphries being “uncomfortable” with the cameras that now follow him around endlessly. As in, not the paparazzi, but the actual cameras that are in his home, filming him for Kim & Kris’s Very Special Divorce: The Kardashian Khristmas Special. Apparently, Kris has laid down the law with Kim, telling her that if the cameras are going to be in their home, they need to be getting more money, and if not, he’s only going to PRETEND to be her husband for a few more weeks. The whole idea of “Kris standing up for himself” is apparently a turn-on for Kim. Gross. I imagine that Kim’s “turned on” kat-face is really disgusting.

Wherever Kim Kardashian goes, a camera crew follows. So you’d think that her husband, Kris Humphries, would know what he was getting himself into. But insiders tell Life & Style that the pro basketball player is so uncomfortable with the camera crews constantly trailing the couple’s every move that he’s threatening not to appear in the next season of Keeping Up With the Kardashians.
“Kris wants out of filming,” an insider exclusively tells Life & Style. “They’ve had no time without a camera. He knows he signed up for this, but I think it’s weighed on him.”
And it’s not like being on the show is good for business. “Kris makes only about $20,000 per episode,” the pal says. “He wants more to make it worthwhile!”
Another insider says that he’s so fed up, Kris was firm about his needs and told his wife: “‘I’ll only be your little TV husband for a few more weeks.”
But fans of the show know that Kris says whatever he wants, whenever he wants. “Kris is really the only person who stands up to her,” a pal adds. “He says no when everyone else says yes.”

While her husband’s stubbornness causes tension between them, it also gives Kim a reality check. “I think secretly it challenges her and turns her on. No one says no to her except Kris. It frustrates her, but it ignites her.”
And Kim knows she’ll have to give up some control for things to work. As she admitted to Life & Style, “Marriage is about compromise and communication.”

[From Life & Style]
I doubt that Kim is turned on by Kris standing up to her. I bet it makes her wish she was back with Reggie Bush. But I think Kim wants to be with Reggie almost every hour of every day.
Anyway, how much longer is this marriage going to last? People will get tired of this “storyline” if things stay this douchey status quo, with Kris being labeled the bad guy and Kim acting poor and pitiful. I think Kim is too full of herself to admit that marrying Kris was a huge mistake… but I guarantee that she’s looking for a way out. Christmas divorce, or will they make it into 2012?

Christian Louboutin Designs a Bar for Charity
Christian Louboutin designs a bar shaped like his famous red bottom shoes to auction for charity.
He's better known for the design of the vertiginous red-soled shoes coveted across the globe.
This month though, legendary designer Christian Louboutin flexes his creative muscle in a different direction as he conjures up his dream cocktail bar for the Grey Goose Winter Ball to benefit the Elton John foundation.
Dubbed the Crazy Luxor bar, the sculptural piece is shaped like a stiletto and is finished in a high shine black lacquer with, it stands to reason, a red trim to echo the designer's signature red sole.
The ancient Egyptian hieroglyphics on the facade of the bar are in honour of Louboutin's love of Egypt - he owns properties in the country and visits twice a year to gather inspiration for his lines.
MUS
The bar will go on auction at the Architecture of Taste-themed ball, to be held on 29 October in Battersea Park, London.
As part of the prize, the winner will also be given a cocktail party on the date of their choice to be held at their home, with cocktails served by a mixologist from their brand new Louboutin bar. Oh, and they'll get a pair of Louboutin shoes thrown in for good measure.
Previous names who have been behind the design of the bar include Jean Paul Gaultier, Elizabeth Hurley and Lily Allen, whose Lil Box of Tracks bar (the bar opened up to reveal DJ turntables and leather seating) fetched a record $100,000 at the 2009 auction.

STARS Campaign Speaks Out Against Culturally Insensitive Halloween Costumes
Well we don’t want YOU sporting certain costumes tonight!

For most, Halloween is a light-hearted holiday where adults can play dress-up and party with abandon. Many exercise their creativity with costumes, choosing celebrities, cartoon characters and inanimate objects to dress as. But there are a few who use Halloween costumes to express their prejudice toward cultural groups under the guise of humor. A group of Ohio University students are finally speaking out about such offensive Halloween costumes.
The group formed an organization called Students Teaching About Racism in Society (STARS) and they created campaigns to combat culturally insensitive and offensive costumes. The campaign features young people from various ethnic groups from Native Americans to African-Americans with costumes lampooning and insulting their culture. We think it’s about time for a campaign as compelling as STARS to address this issue.
What do you think of the STARS campaign? Are they right for taking a stand against culturally insensitive Halloween costumes?

?uestlove: New D’Angelo Album ‘In the Home Stretch’
*?uestlove of The Roots sat down recently with Billboard.com’s The Juice to discuss his numerous endeavors, including his work with crooner D’Angelo on his long-awaited new album project.
“He’s in the home stretch right now,” said the drummer. “I know that Fred Wesley and the JB Horns just did a cut that Q-Tip did; I know he’s doing his vocals right now.”
As for the next album from his own band, “We actually completed it at five this morning, so it’s officially done,” he said of “Undun,” the group’s 13th studio effort. “It’s essentially a biographical narrative about Redford Stephens. Stephens [is] a composite of four or five people that we’ve known over the past few years from Philadelphia.”

The album, which features Big K.R.I.T. and Phonte from Little Brother, tells Steven’s story backwards from his death to his birth.
When he’s not recording for “Undun” and D’Angelo’s project, ?uestlove is also juggling his group’s regular gig as the house band for “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon,” doing random DJ sets, and frequently sitting in with other bands.
When asked about The Roots’ incredible schedule, he took it all as just another day on the job. “It’s really not that hard,” he said. “People are always amazed with the amount of projects and events that we’re involved in and the hardest thing about it is just staying the course and concentrating. I’ve just seen so many examples of people who take it for granted. You dream of being in a certain position and once you approach it you manage to sabotage it or you get off course. For us, that’s really not an option.”

Despite the hectic schedule, ?uestlove brings it into perspective with hard work. “We’re really highly responsible and very disciplined,” he said. “I take pride in the fact that this is our 13th record; not many hip-hop groups can even get to their 8th record.”

On Here I Am & her evolution as an artist:
“I’m looking to make great music and that’s what I’ve done with this new album,” she says. “I think when they buy the record, when they listen to the words, when they go to a show, they’ll continue to learn more as I continue to learn more. I think that they see me appreciating [my sexuality], which makes them kind of appreciate it as well. In the club…I shout out to all the ladies who motivate their man and they were like, ‘Yeah, girl!’” “I’m showing a side of myself that has probably never tapped into. It’s not even so much a new Kelly. It’s just tapped into a more sensual side.”
Kelly-Upscale-Magazine-feature
On marriage and children:
“I think about marriage, I think about children. Right now, I’m not really thinking about it, because I’m so busy with the record. I’m happy in the space where I am moving. I’m moving and working and I’m loving it, I’m enjoying it.”

And then there were 3: No Mike McCary on Boyz II Men’s 20th Anniversary CD
*Boyz II Men are marking the anniversary of their debut record, 1991′s “Cooleyhighharmony,” by recording old and new tracks for a retrospective record called “Twenty.”
But only group members Nathan Morris, Wanya Morris and Shawn Stockman are taking part in the project. McCary, who left the group in the early 2000s, was to return for the album, but it didn’t work out.
“We reached out to Michael to be on this record,” Nathan Morris told the New York Daily News, before explaining that McCary, in his view, didn’t want to put in the effort to reunite.
“Mike just completely got lazy,” according to Nathan Morris, who ended up recording the bass parts on top of his own.
“Twenty,” to be released Tuesday, finds the trio singing new songs as well as their classics – 10 of each. They will also take the project on the road. The “Twenty” tour will take them around the United States, Europe and Japan.

SHONDA RHIMES LANDS ANOTHER DRAMA FOR ABC
scandal
You would think having two hit shows on your hands, ABC’s “Grey’s Anatomy” and “Private Practice” would keep creator/producer Shonda Rhimes too busy to do anything else, but think again. The Emmy-nominated producer will soon debut a new drama on ABC called “Scandal,” which stars two fimaliar faces, Kerry Washington and Columbus Short. The new series, will focus on the lives of employees at a crisis management firm for celebrities. Kerry will star as Olivia Pope, the head of the firm and a former media consultant to the President of the United States.

The TV series and the character of Olivia Pope are loosely based on the life of Judy Smith, who is the founder of crisis management firm Impact Strategies. Smith is a media savvy veteran who has been in the business for 25 years. “There’s never been a character that does crisis management [on TV] so that was obviously a big draw for me,” said Judy, who is also a co-executive producer. “I think they have done an incredible job of taking that high stakes arena that we deal with every day and breaking it down in a way that television audiences will want.”
Nice to see a black female lead on a television show, Tony Goldwyn, Henry Ian Cusick, Guillermo Diaz, Katie Lowes, Jeff Perry and Darby Stanchfield are also cast members on the show. “Scandal” is slated to be a mid-season replacement show in early 2012.

Paris Jackson shows off her football skills as the only girl on the team... with a little support from her brothers
Go Paris! Michael Jackson's daughter Paris showed off her skills on the football pitch today playing flag football for her school team
The daughter of the late Michael Jackson was seen showing off her skills on the pitch earlier today playing flag football.
Paris, 13, is the only girl on the team and was playing for her team at her Los Angeles private school.
While Paris played just as tough as any of the other boys, her brothers Prince and Blanket were on the sidelines cheering on their sister.
And it appears that the King of Pop’s daughter’s effort paid off and her team had a convincing win.
Paris tweeted: ‘We Won 32-6!!!!!!!! Yeahhh Boiiiiii!!! #Leggo’
Last week Katherine Jackson voice her fury after the Lingerie Football League approached her granddaughter Paris to be a spokesman for the company's fledgling youth programme.
Keeping up with the boys: Paris is the only girl on her team and certainly gave the other guys a run for their money
The organisation, which sees women play in their underwear, approached Michael Jackson's 13-year-old daughter Paris, which sent her guardian, grandmother Katherine into a rage.
Brotherly support: Both Prince and Blanket were on the sidelines helping to cheer on their sister
'A teenage spokeswoman for a lingerie league? That's just creepy and downright offensive.
'There is a hell storm inside the family at the moment.'
Not getting past me: The 13-year-old, who was recently asked to act as a spokesperson for the Lingerie Football League, stood her ground when challenged by two opponentsNot getting past me: The 13-year-old, who was recently asked to act as a spokesperson for the Lingerie Football League, stood her ground when challenged by two opponents
Katherine is the matriarch of the Jackson clan, and is the custodian of Jackson's three children, Prince, Paris and Blanket.
The offer followed news Paris became the first girl in her exclusive private Los Angeles school's history to get the call-up for the flag football team, a light football practised in schools.
Tough: Paris proved to be a tough component and didn't let her sex get in the way of her game Victory: Paris's efforts helped her team to win 32 to six

The Lingerie Football League is a women's seven-on-seven tackle American football league created in 2009.

It has become a staple of Super Bowl Sunday festivities for millions worldwide and is broadcast in over 85 countries.
