“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” Bursts Into San Diego Comic-Con

They’re two of the most iconic superheroes of all time, and over the weekend “Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” teased a 30-second clip at San Diego Comic-Con.

Director Zack Snyder showed up at the event on Saturday (July 26) along with Ben Affleck, Henry Cavill and Gal Gadot, who play Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman respectively, and the crowd went wild.

Snyder explained, “I was shooting last night and I jumped on a plane and came here this morning to give you an update. I couldn’t be happier with the way everything’s going.”

“Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice” is slated to hit theaters on May 6, 2016 and also stars Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg and Diane Lane.

She's Here To Stay! Phaedra Parks IS NOT Taking a Break From "RHOA", FILMS Scenes With Apollo

Rumor control!   Contrary to online reports, Phaedra Parks (shown above with RHOA co-star Kandi Burruss) has not taken a leave of absence from "RHOA."  While a story hit the net that Phaedra walked out on the show, it seems that's not fully the case.

TMZ reports that Phaedra has been filming for a month and has taped several scenes with Apollo Nida, who'll soon depart for an 8-year jail sentence.  While Phaedra may miss some filming to take care of family business, there's no way she'll allow Apollo's situation to cut in on her bread and butter.

Rapper Lil Scrappy‘s mother Momma Dee just announced the newest cast member of VH1′s Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta in a post on Twitter.com. Stephen A. Smith SIGNS With SiriusXM, GETS Suspended From ESPN Over Domestic Violence Comments 

For ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith, there's good news AND bad news.  GOOD NEWS - He's leaving his ESPN Radio gig to head over to SiriusXM where he'll appear alongside Chris "Mad Dog" Russo on Mad Dog Radio for the 1-3 pm timeslot. BAD NEWS (for him) - He was suspended from ESPN's "First Take." He was not fired, but in television, if you miss a day - you miss a lot.

A statement on the First Take website read,

"ESPN announced today that Stephen A. Smith will not appear on First Take or ESPN Radio for the next week. He will return to ESPN next Wednesday."

The suspension (of sorts) came after Stephen's comments on domestic violence went viral and sparked outrage.  On Monday, Stephen apologized for the remarks calling them "the most egregious error of my career." Yup sure is!!!!

George Zimmerman Spotted ‘Patrolling’ Gun Shop

George Zimmerman is back in the news. DeLand, Florida police officers doing routine patrol spotted the former neighborhood watchman sitting in his car behind a gun shop at midnight on Sunday.

The gun shop, Pompano Pat’s, is owned by Pat Johnson, who happens to be running for Mayor of Deland. Johnson offered a free gun to Zimmerman after he was acquitted of killing 17-year-old Trayvon Martin last summer.

Zimmerman, who has some type of Hero Complex, told the officers that the shop had been burglarized and he was simply helping a friend out.

“Zimmerman informed me that he was sitting behind the business with the permission of the owner,” one officer noted in his report.

The officer asked Zimmerman if Pat had hired him as security for the shop. “No, no,” Zimmerman responded.

When contacted by WKMG Local 6 News, Johnson said Zimmerman is not an employee of his shop. He explained that thieves stole $5,000 worth of riles and 2 mini bikes in recent burglaries.

Johnson also reiterated that Zimmerman was not his employee in a statement to CNN:

“George Zimmerman is not an employee of our store and in no way shape or form is he being paid,” Johnson stated.

Johnson added that Zimmerman, who is homeless, was guarding the shop voluntarily.

Earlier this year, Zimmerman signed autographs at a gun show to earn enough cash to make ends meet

Transsexual Student Demands Special Treatment at Christian University

A gender confused George Fox University student continues the national trend of using the government to force Christians into accommodating a sexual lifestyle.

Jaycen “Jayce” Montgomery, a biological female who is “transitioning to male,” filed a federal complaint against George Fox officials who refuse to let her reside in an all-male dormitory with her friends next year.

George Fox University is a private Christian seminary school in Newberg, Oregon, near Portland. Jayce registered there in 2013 as a female. Upon admission, she signed a waiver agreeing to abide by the school’s moral, ethical and spiritual policies.

At some point after her admission to the school, Jayce decided to start living as a male. A circuit court judge legally changed Jayce’s gender to male. Jayce is identified as male on her driver’s license.

According to Jayce’s attorney, the student has not undergone sex change surgery but she is under the care of a doctor who prescribed testosterone.

Jayce claims living in the all-female dormitory frustrates her because she has the “libido of a 14 year old boy.” In addition to giving females male characteristics such as a deep voice and facial hair, testosterone also increases libido.

“Living in a female dorm means that each day, the first thoughts I have are about my struggles living in a body that never felt right to me,” Jayce told the NY Times.

“I have the right, as any other male, to live on campus with males,” Jayce said.

Shortly before Jayce’s attorney filed for a Title IX discrimination complaint, the university requested and was granted a religious exemption from Title IX by The Department of Education.

The religious exemption infuriated Jayce’s mother, Janice, who created a Change.org petition to rally support for Jayce. Janice notes that Jayce plans to appeal the Department of Education’s ruling.

George Fox officials say they will allow Jayce to reside in an all-male dorm — if she proves she underwent a sex change.

In a statement on its website, George Fox states:

“Common residence halls are single-sex, defined anatomically. We are committed to residential access, and it is consistent with our beliefs and our community values that a presurgical transgendered person will be provided on-campus housing in appropriate alternative housing well-connected to the residential community. That person also has the option to live off campus.”

The school has been more than fair in its dealings with Jayce. George Fox offered to pay for off-campus housing where Jayce could live with other boys. When that offer was rejected, the school offered to provide a single room on-campus. But Jayce’s attorney claimed a single room would “psychologically harm” Jayce and deprive the student of the university social experience.

In other words, no amount of compromise will satisfy Jayce or her attorney.

Despite Jayce’s political motivations, the school and its students are fully supportive of her mental condition.

“I think the fact that Jayce is choosing to stay at George Fox shows the university community has been supportive of him during his whole experience here,” the university’s spokesman Rob Felton told the NY Times. “We may have a difference of opinion on appropriate housing, but all indications are he has been treated well by his peers, professors and our student life staff.”

I have something major that may come out about Michael Vick. As you may know by now I wrote the book, Quarterback Keeper, about my 10 years of knowing Michael Vick personally. Recently I traveled to see friends and left my laptop exposed. Upon arrival back home I noticed that some of my files had been tampered with. Including the infamous naked picture of Vick that I wrote about in my book.

I wanted to let it be known that if the photo does come out publicly, that was never intended to. I still have my copy of the photo that I hold onto for self use, because Michael wanted me to have it.

Kerry Washington Critiques Beyonce for Staying With Jay Z?

Kerry Washington is reportedly disappointed in Beyonce, who is putting money ahead of her pride. The 37-year-old ‘Scandal’ actress roasted the 32-year-old singer for staying with aging rapper Jay Z, 45, despite mounting evidence of his rampant cheating.

Emmy nominated TV star Kerry Washington has privately ripped the singer for not doing enough to empower young African American girls.

The 37-year-old star of the hit ABC show, who’s a political activist and outspoken feminist, “hates how Beyonce relies on her body and sexual innuendo to sell records,” an insider told Dish Nation.

“Kerry thinks Beyonce should spend less time shaking her booty and more time pushing other agendas, like the value of education and healthy eating, as well as promoting book reading.”

“To Kerry, it seems like Beyonce is sending a message to young women that standing by your man, even if he cheats on you, is perfectly acceptable. While Kerry’s peers, like Beyonce, exploit themselves for career advancement, she’s happy to keep her private life under wraps and let her talent do the talking. Kerry wishes Beyonce would do the same.”

Meanwhile, Beyonce and Jay Z are desperate to put an end to the rumors of marital strife. Bey’s people are in constant touch with PR firms that specialize in damage control. Sources say certain blogs are doing all they can to shut down the rumors by publishing stories planted by Bey’s camp.

Now seriously I can’t see Kerry doing anything of the sort because it just doesn’t seem like her nature and why I everyone wanting them to end their marriage. If it’s a business relationship then SO BE IT! One thing can’t be denied is that they’re definitely a POWER COUPLE and I am not even a part of The Bee Hive!

Tracee Ellis Ross Talks Love, Being BLACK, Keeping Her Booty Right In UPSCALE’s August 2014 Issue

Actress Tracee Ellis Ross is gracing the cover of UPSCALE magazine’s August 2014 issue with all of her beauty. And we are so loving that face and her curls!

Tracee is starring in a new comedy series coming to ABC (September 24th) titled, “Black-ish,” where she plays a mother-of-four named Rainbow Johnson. Tracee's character is the wife to Anthony Anderson’s character and the two of them are searching to find a sense of cultural identity while raising their kids in a predominantly white, upper-middle-class neighborhood. The show is scripted by Kenya Barris and produced by Laurence Fishburne’s (who is also starring in the sitcom) Cinema Gypsy production company.

So in the new issue of UPSCALE, the “Black-ish” star dished on what it means to be black, how she thinks people will react to the new comedy sitcom, keeping her booty rotund at the age of 41 (which she's doing a damn good job at) and more.

Here are the highlights:

On what it means to be black:

“What is blackness? What is being black? Who defines that and do we need to define that? I don’t have the answers to all of those questions but I think these are the conversations we’re all still having.”

On her ABC show, Black-ish:

“The beauty of the show is that it’s just a family comedy, but it has another layer to it. I don’t know what I necessarily want people to think or talk about after watching it but for me in general with cultural identity, racial identity and feminist identity, dialogue is important. People communicating in a light and open way about issues that have a lot of depth and weight to them is a great thing.”

On loving her body:

“I’m proud of my body—I work very hard to keep my body at 41 years-old, because my booty could drop… Gravity is not a joke.”

On advice & romance:

“Any one rule [as it pertains to romantic relationships] that people think works everywhere is just not true. In general, with everything it’s an intimate discovery of trusting yourself and allowing yourself the room to have curiosity about life and self.”

The show premieres on Wednesday, September 24th at 9:30/8:30c on ABC.  We'll be watching!

Pregnant Woman Placed In Chokehold By NYPD Over BBQ Grilling

The NYPD‘s actions of late has cast a dark cloud over New York, and an ugly incident over the weekend is adding to the growing list of bad cop decisions. According to photos, a pregnant woman appears to be placed in a banned chokehold by a NYPD officer over illegal barbecue grilling.

Cops arrived to a residence in Brooklyn last Saturday, approaching 27-year-old Rosan Miller for barbecuing on her sidewalk in front of her home. According to photos released by advocacy group People Organizing and Working for Empowerment and Respect, the unnamed police officer placed his arm around Ms. Miller’s neck, who is seven-months-pregnant.

The New York Daily News reported the story, and was present for a press conference held by former city councilman Charles Barron. Barron stood in solidarity with the Miller family, and is calling for the release of Ms. Miller’s husband, Moses Miller, and her brother John Miller, who were both charged with separate crimes.

More from the Daily News:

Officers went to the home over the weekend because Miller was grilling on a public sidewalk in violation of local law, cops said. But a melee broke out that ended with her, her brother and husband all in handcuffs.

The brother, John Miller, was charged with harassment and obstruction of justice. Her husband, Moses Miller, 34, was charged with resisting arrest and obstruction. Rosan Miller got a summons for disorderly conduct.

When former city councilman Charles Barron heard, he called cops to complain and “expedite” the Millers’ release, he said.

“This was all over a grill,” Barron said. “This is about grilling in front of her house.”

In the photos, Miller’s young daughter witnessed the tussle between her mother and the officer applying the chokehold. Barron also added at the conference that the NPYD lieutenant involved in this chokehold case has been a nuisance to residents in times past and they’re asking for his removal from the community.

Eric Garner, the Staten Island man who appeared to have died after officers placed him in a chokehold, was laid to rest last week in Brooklyn.

Philadelphia carjackers captured, Charles Barkley comes to rescue

Following a three-day manhunt, the two dastardly criminals who’ve left a Philadelphia family and community devastated have been captured and will face the long arm of the law. On Monday, July 28, Cornelius Crawford, 22, and Jonathan Rosa, 19, were charged with three counts of second degree murder, carjacking and sexual assault. The pair are responsible for the deaths of Keiearra Williams, 15, and her brothers Thomas Reed, 10, and Terrence Moore, 7, who were run over while selling fruit at a church fundraiser.

Philadelphia 76ers legend Charles Barkley will cover funeral costs for the innocent kids.

The sexual assault charges against the pair are for the woman whose SUV was stolen.

“Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” Promo Poster Ignites Controversy For 9/11 Terror Imagery

There’s no doubt that cultural sensitivities are at an all-time high, but Paramount Australia definitely dropped the ball with their most recent poster for “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.”

The offensive artwork depicts Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo falling from a flame-engulfed skyscraper with “September 11” scrolled across the bottom.

And when the studio tweeted the image along with the caption, “Check out the official poster for #TMNT in cinemas September 11,” several users were quick to point out the error.

One cranky Twitter member posted, "When's the movie out? September 11. OK. Poster's fine, can't think of anything it reminds me of.”

Needless to say, Paramount quickly deleted their post.

Monica Brown Smiles For The Camera; Shares Photos Of New Braids

Monica Brown‘s sitting pretty with gorgeous new braids, in a couple of pics she shared while hitting the studio yesterday.

The Atlanta singer is taking a little break from her natural tresses; “Me & My natural were not getting along with the heat. Vacation hair BUT no vacation #Grindmode,” she wrote.

In response to those asking how she was able to get her hair braided so quickly, she posted a clip which showed several women working together at once, to get it done.

ESPN Suspends Stephen A. Smith Over Domestic Violence Comments

ESPN’s First Take has suspended Stephan A. Smith for his comments in regards to domestic violence about NFL player Ray Rice’s suspension, they announced today that Stephen A. Smith will not appear on First Take or ESPN Radio for the next week. He will return to ESPN next Wednesday,” said the network in a statement posted on its First Take website.

The fact that he back peddled may have hurt him more than anything, everyone has an opinion, but certain ones should literally be kept to yourself…. The fact that he said women shouldn’t provoke men to put hands on them, which referencing the Ray Rice scandal and if you haven’t seen the video of Ray dragging his unconscious fiance out of the elevator after knocking her clean out then I suggest you look and then come back and ask if his opinion should of been spoken or kept to himself ?

Karlie Redd says Tyler Perry turned her down for a movie role

There are more than a few celebrities who have made the jump from reality TV to big time movie and acting careers, but making that leap is no easy task, especially when your name is attached to, well, “ratchet TV.” Recently, “Love & Hip Hop Atlanta” star Karlie Redd spoke about the double edged sword that is the reality TV experience and she explained that Tyler Perry turned her down for a film role because she’s on “LAHHATL.”

“I went for a role for a Tyler Perry film and they shot me down because I was on ‘Love and Hip Hop,’” Redd shared with KYSDC.com. “Reality TV has been known to have a lot of drama, but like NeNe [Leakes] said, ‘it also has been a blessing.’”

Unfortunately, Redd explained that wasn’t the first time such a thing has happened. She says she’s literally been dropped from roles right after booking a job.

“There’s been roles that I auditioned for and then they found out,” Redd said, “Literally I’m on my way to set to work, got the role and everything and then they find out I’m on the show and then they’re like, ‘Uh, no.’”

Well, as Leakes also says, when one door closes, another one opens. But in Redd’s case, the reality TV curse seems to have claimed another victim.

Young Jeezy’s Son Jadarius CELEBRATES His 18th Birthday With His Dad, T.I. & A New Car In Atlanta

Taking a break from trekking the nation on his Under the Influence Tour with Wiz Khalifa, Young Jeezy threw a lavish dinner party with family and friends for his son Jaradrius’ 18th birthday at Gio’s in Atlanta.

Good friend of Jeezy’s and fellow rapper T.I. was also in attendance. We hear Tiny was also there but she somehow steered clear of any pictures.

Looks like everything is good between Jeezy and his son now. You’ll recall, the "Seen It All" rapper was arrested earlier this year for allegedly serving his son with a brutal beat down and threatening to kill him. He was charged with battery, terroristic threats and false imprisonment. Guess they hashed things out.  Nice cars and fancy parties always seem to do the trick....

Like most 18-year-olds, Jadarius had a chick on his arm. Looks like he’s down with the swirl.

And his pops posed it up with one of the kiddies at the party.

Olivia Munn Gets Busy On “Ride Along 2” Set

She’s always up for a challenge, and yesterday Olivia Munn kicked off her new gig on the set of “Ride Along 2” in Atlanta, Georgia.

Joined by Kevin Hart and Ice Cube, the “Newsroom” stunner got all dressed up in a white blouse and black skinny jeans and filmed scenes as an undercover cop.

Meanwhile, Olivia and her handsome boyfriend Aaron Rodgers recently teamed up to bless a superfan of the Green Bay Packers.

The fan’s brother arranged the gesture, scoring a signed Rodgers jersey and tickets for an upcoming Packers game as his birthday gift.

And in a video that was filmed as he opened the present, the guy declares, "He got it! He got it! Aaron Rodger's signed jersey!"

The note that accompanied the gift read, "You're such a good dad, you didn't miss your son's birthday for the tickets to the VIP Packers game I got you, so Olivia Munn and Aaron Rodgers sent this to you personally. You are a good man, great father and even better brother. Happy early birthday and P.S. look into the camera and say 'Thank you Olivia and Aaron.'"

Diddy and Cassie jetted to Ibiza a few days ago, and have shared a few pics from their trip. Cassie slipped into a bikini to soak up some sun, while they kicked back aboard a luxury party yacht with friends, including Naomi Campbell.

“Love & Happiness,” Cassie captioned a pic of her smiling, with a glass of wine in hand.

Diddy has been at work on his new album, MMM, which is due for release later this year. The music mogul was recently spotted keeping late hours in the studio, cooking up new material.

Zoe Saldaña Gets Naked For Women’s Health

Mom-to-be and award-winning actress, Zoe Saldaña, bares all in the “The Naked Issue” of Women’s Health UK.

Inside the September edition, the Guardians of the Galaxy star talks about her physical transformation. “My body is less toned. I do look in the mirror and see things I don’t want,” she said. “My first reaction is I breathe and I think, ‘I’m a woman, I’m 36, my body is changing.’”

Later adding, “I’m exactly where I want to be. I do feel beautiful in a way that even when I was working out a whole lot, I sometimes didn’t. The Next Door Neighbor Threatens to Shoot Chris Brown?

I know this is a throwback picture… Chris Brown is moving  out of Hollywood into the suburbs of Malibu  and the neighbors are not happy about it. He has brought a new home in a sprawling estate in Agoura, an area outside of Los Angles near the Malibu boarder, in the San Fernando Valley. Before he officially moves his neighbor has some words for Mr. Brown…

Neighbor tells TMZ:
