#RHoA: Porsha Williams Surprises Fans with New Look along with her Man
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Porsha Williams switched up her style to an eye-popping purple hair color.
Williams is known for having fun with her look especially her hairstyles. The Dish Nation host has rocked different looks including her signature black curled hair, long wavy blonde, and not too long ago red hot tresses. A few days ago she posted a photo showing off her new look with the caption, “Alexa play “Purple rain” ☔ Hair: @kellonderyck .”
As usual, fans loved the new color on the glamorous Housewife.
Last month for her 37th birthday, the reality star donned a bold red color that was equally loved by her followers with the playful caption “He said he like it red.” It’s unclear if Williams was referencing her new boo but she did introduce him to her millions of followers for the first time earlier this week. Looks like Williams is living the life!

Never one to stop creating, R&B star Miguel lets fans in on a new song called “Python”.

He released the song with the intention that he’d be performing it for fans on his upcoming tour.
Miguel recently announced another North American trek this fall called “The Ascension Tour”. The performances will be in support of his most recently released fourth album “War & Leisure”,
The 26 date tour kicks off on August 23rd in Boston, Massachusetts, hitting major markets in the US and Canada throughout August and September, including festival appearances at AFROPUNK in Brooklyn, North Coast Music Festival in Chicago, and Life is Beautiful Festival in Las Vegas, concluding on September 28th in Seattle, Washington.
#HipHopNews: French Montana Robbed During Home Invasion
French Montana was the victim of a home invasion robbery.
According to TMZ, at least two armed robbers broke into the rapper’s Calabasas crib, which is located in a guard gated community, early Tuesday morning (July 31).
Law enforcement officials were summoned to French’s mansion around 9 a.m., several hours after the crime occurred. French and others were reportedly home at the time. It’s unclear if anyone was injured, but no one was hospitalized.
It’s unknown what, if anything, the thieves took. Cops are still investigating and don’t have any suspects yet.
French purchased the 7,229 square-foot compound from Selena Gomez, who sold it for $3.3 million in 2016 after the house became a frequent target of stalkers
Beyoncé To Have ‘Unprecedented Control’ Over Vogue’s September Issue
The superstar singer will reportedly take over the magazine’s upcoming September issue. According to The Huffington Post, Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour has given Bey “unprecedented control” over the fashion bible including the cover, the photos of her inside the magazine, and the captions, which she has written herself.
In addition to starring on the cover, Bey has hired 23-year-old photographer Tyler Mitchell to shoot the cover. Mitchell, who has shot campaigns for Marc Jacobs and Givenchy, is the first black cover photographer in the magazine’s 126-year history.
Wintour typically hires fashion photographers with more traditional experience, according to a source familiar with Vogue‘s editorial process, but the magazine is contractually obligated to give Beyoncé full control.
“The reason a 23-year-old black photographer is photographing Beyoncé for the cover of Vogue is because Beyoncé used her power and influence to get him that assignment,” said the source.
Beyoncé last graced the September 2015 cover of Vogue, photographed by Mario Testino.
Fans Drag Tristan Thompson on IG For His Comment on Khloe's New Post
Fans are dragging Tristan Thompson on Instagram after he left a seemingly innocent comment on one of Khloe Kardashian's photos.
Khloe, who gave birth to her and Tristan's daughter True back in April, recently posted a gorgeous picture of a pink sand beach and clear blue water. She captioned the new post, "Take me please."
Tristan, who according to reports is feeling "trapped" in his relationship with Khloe at the moment, commented, "Where do you wanna go my love?"
After catching wind of Tristan's comment, fans began dragging the NBA star in the comments section on Khloe's post, referencing the cheating scandal from earlier this year. One fan wrote, "the land of the faithful and loyal tristan, that's where she wanna go," while another said, "to honesty land."

Khloe's sister, Kourtney Kardashian, also responded to Tristan's comment herself writing, "good one."
It's been a rocky road for Khloe and Tristan since news broke of his affairs with other women. Since the spring, there have been reports saying that the couple is working it out and that their relationship was "in a good place," with the two recently even sharing a rare kiss on Snapchat. However, recent reports suggest that things may be more complicated.
A source recently told Us Weekly, "Khloé and Tristan are still not fully OK. They act like they are when they’re in front of others, but it’s all a show at this point." And another source tells Us, "Tristan is feeling trapped in a bad relationship. He's no longer going with Khloé for sessions. He just didn't feel it was helping to discuss s*** that happened months ago."
Interestingly enough, in the comment on Khloe's Instagram, he did refer to the reality star as "my love."
Family of Missouri duck boat victims file $100M lawsuit
Relatives of a family of nine who were killed when a tourist duck boat sank earlier this month in Missouri have filed a $100 million lawsuit, claiming the boat company ignored warnings of severe thunderstorms.
Seventeen people — including nine members of one Indiana family— were killed on July 19 when the vehicle went down in Table Rock Lake in Branson, Mo., amid high winds and waves, Buzzfeed News reported on Monday.
The negligence, wrongful death, and product liability lawsuit names Ripley Entertainment Inc., Ride the Ducks Branson and Herschend Family Entertainment as defendants.
“Despite being aware of impending severe weather conditions, Ripley intentionally decided to take the Duck Boat out onto Table Rock Lake instead of cancelling the tour and refunding the patrons’ money,” the lawsuit states.
The tour company “recklessly risked the lives of its passengers for purely financial reasons” with knowledge that the amphibious boats were not safe in that weather, the family argues.
“This tragedy was the predictable and predicted result of decades of unacceptable, greed-driven, and willful ignorance of safety by the Duck Boat industry in the face of specific and repeated warnings that their Duck Boats are death traps for passengers and pose grave danger to the public on water and on land,” the lawsuit states.

Some sleuth-y fans have come up with a theory that Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson's marriage could be happening sooner than anyone might expect.
After their engagement became public knowledge last month, fans have been scrambling to get more details on their upcoming nuptials. As the couple's been packing on PDA while out and about and publicly flirting on social media, every image and video posted has been scrutinized by those digging for information.
The theory is as follows: Ariana Grande and Pete Davidson will get married on August 4th, 2018. If you look at the facts, it actually might hold water.
It all started with paparazzi photos showing that the 'No Tears Left To Cry' singer had gotten a tattoo of the numbers "8418" on her foot. That sequence of numbers is very significant to Pete Davidson, who also has them tattooed on his arm. They were his father's badge numbers before his untimely death serving as a firefighter during the 9/11 terrorist attack in New York City.
The frenzy then hit an all time high when the SNL cast member published a photo of Ariana Grande wearing his father's "8418" chain on his personal Instagram account. Followers in the comments have begun to speculate that it could mean 'August 4th 2018' might be a relevant date for the couple

Intense fan scrutiny is not something that Ari is unfamiliar with. Earlier this week the 'Side To Side' vocalist dropped her new music video for 'God is a woman' and viewers ripped it apart in an effort to discover hidden meaning. Some even went so far as to assert the video was actually and announcement that she's pregnant by Pete Davidson and expecting his child.
Arianators are hoping that more insight into the singer's life will be revealed on future music releases. Her fourth studio album titled 'Sweetener' is set to debut on August 17th 2018. The Internet is abuzz with rumors that Naomi Campbell may be expecting a child at 48 years old after Skepta, who she was romantically linked to earlier this year, posted a sonogram on Instagram.
Could Naomi Campbell, 48, really be pregnant?! Speculation that the gorgeous model might be expecting a child began when Skepta, 35, posted a photo of a sonogram to his Instagram page on July 30. Remember, Naomi and Skepta were first rumored to be dating in Jan. 2018, and seemingly confirmed their romance by posing for a PDA-filled magazine shoot in April. Naomi is the last woman Skepta was linked to, so fans think that she might be the mother of the child he posted on Instagram! However, a source tells the folks over at HollywoodLife that the rumors that Naomi is pregnant are “not true.”
Naomi and Skepta have never confirmed if their relationship is anything more than just professional and/or platonic, but their social media flirting led fans to believe that there was definitely something romantic happening between them. Besides Naomi, there’s been no other chatter about who the mother of the baby might be, but the sonogram certainly has the Internet buzzing either way. However, along with the image, Skepta didn’t include much information. He captioned the pic with a rose emoji, and the sonogram image shows that the baby is referred to as “Baby Adenuga,” which is Skepta’s real last name, but no other hints were given.
However, the unborn child does appear to be pretty developed, and Naomi hasn’t sported any signs of a baby bump in recent months. In fact, the 48-year-old looked thin as ever when she stepped out in Paris wearing a form-fitting, black ensemble just earlier this month!
Drake and Lil Yachty showed their support for Skepta’s baby news by commenting on the pic with “Dada” and “Congrats,” respectively. Regardless of who the mother is, this is very exciting news for the rapper!
Lauryn Hill Designs New Woolrich Collection, Stars in Campaign
Ms. Lauryn Hill has teamed up with American outdoor apparel brand Woolwich to design a capsule collection. For their autumn/winter 2018 campaign “American Soul Since 1830,” Hill is the star as well as a designer. She created custom pieces for a capsule collection, such as the Silverton Coat with The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill album art screen-printed on it. For the campaign video, she visited New York City’s Washington Heights, as well as the Harlem theater where she shot the video for “Doo Wop (That Thing).” Watch the clip, which features Hill performing a stripped down rendition of “Ex-Factor,” below.

Hill’s capsule collection will be available in Woolwich stores and retailers in North America and Europe. According to Vogue, she “came up with 30 jacket sketches” during the process of the collaboration and has been customizing her own clothes for years. Though she recently cancelled and postponed a series of shows, she’s currently on the 20th anniversary tour behind her 1998 LP.
'Incredibles 2' Becomes Disney’s Third Movie to Make $1 Billion in 2018!
WOW INCREDIBLE! The Disney movie just passed the $1 billion mark at the global box office according to Entertainment Weekly, making it the third Disney film to do so in 2018.
The film joins Black Panther ($1.3 billion) and Avengers: Infinity War ($2 billion) in the Disney billionaire club, and is now just the seventh animated movie in history to cross that number.
It’s also the ninth biggest overall release in U.S. history!
Besides the Disney titles, the only other movie to pass the $1 billion mark in 2018 is Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom, which has achieved over $1.2 billion at the box office.

#LGBTQ: Gay Log Cabin Republicans Endorse Anti-LGBT Georgia GOP Brian Kemp for Governor!

Oh those benedicts LGBTQ republican quislings are at it again.
Via Project Q Atlanta: Brian Kemp reiterated his support of anti-LGBTQ “religious freedom” legislation just as a gay Republican group endorsed the newly-named GOP gubernatorial nominee. Kemp signed a pledge to support “religious freedom” legislation last year. He stood by it at a Republican “unity rally” on Thursday after trouncing Lt. Gov. Casey Cagle in the GOP runoff for governor. “My position on RFRA is not going to change. I’m not going to change,” Kemp told the AJC.
Former House Minority Leader Stacey Abrams, the Democrat who faces Kemp in the November general election, strongly opposes the legislation. As Kemp won the runoff on Tuesday, Georgia Log Cabin Republicans endorsed him – the first candidate for governor the group has endorsed in its 23-year history.
“We would like to congratulate Brian Kemp on his hard-fought win tonight,” the group wrote in a press release. “We offer him our full endorsement and look forward to working hard to help him win in November against radical liberal Stacey Abrams.”
Kemp has said that if he is elected governor, he would sign a “religious freedom and restoration bill” similar to the ones Gov. Nathan Deal has twice vetoed if came before him.
Jennifer Lopez To Receive Video Vanguard Award At MTV Video Music Awards
From In Living Color Fly Girl to actress to pop superstar, Jennifer Lopez’s career will hit another milestone at this year’s MTV Video Music Awards where she will not only perform but also be honored with the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
Sway Calloway announced the news today live which was followed by a Facebook Live interview on MTV’s page. This will mark J. Lo’s first live performance on the VMAs since 2001 when she danced her way to stage before donning a fedora and singing “I’m Real” with Ja Rule (yup, it was that long ago). In addition to performing and receiving the coveted Vanguard Award, Lopez is nominated for two VMAs for her recent single “Dinero.”
Previous recipients of the Vanguard Award include last year’s honoree P!nk as well as Rihanna, Kanye West, U2, R.E.M., Beyonce, Justin Timberlake, Madonna, Janet Jackson and, of course, the award’s namesake Michael Jackson. The Prince of Pop received the award in 1988 when it was called the Video Vanguard Award. His name was officially attached to the award in 1991.
Since her breakout role in Selena and her first album “On the 6,” Lopez’s entertainment career has spanned nearly two decades. Her production company Nuyorican Productions has produced numerous film and television projects, including Boy Next Door, Freeform’s award-winning series The Fosters, and the NBC drama Shades of Blue. Lopez also serves as an executive producer and a judge on NBC’s dance competition show World of Dance. She has starred in numerous films including Out of Sight, Monster-In-Law, Enough and The Cell. She can be seen this November in STX’s Second Act opposite Leah Remini, Milo Ventimiglia, and Vanessa Hudgens. She has also raised funds for humanitarian causes, donating $1 million to aid to Puerto Rico. Her relief campaign, “Somos Una Voz,” was an effort supported by celebrities to rush supplies to areas affected by Hurricane Maria.

Miss Universe 2018 Heads To Thailand With Steve Harvey Returning As Host
Miss Universe is heading to Bangkok, Thailand for the 2018 competition with Steve Harvey returning as host. The 2018 Miss Universe competition will air live in the U.S. Sunday, Dec. 16 (7:00-10:00 PM ET live/PT tape-delayed) on Fox.
This will be Harvey’s fourth time hosting the pageant, following his infamous snafu in the 2015 pageant, in which he misread the card and announced Miss Colombia as the winner instead of actual winner Miss Philippines. He returned as host in 2016, telling the Miss Universe Organization that he wanted to personally apologize to the Filipinos for the incident. He also hosted the 2017 Miss Universe pageant, which crowned Demi-Leigh Nel-Peters of South Africa, as the winner.
Harvey also is host of syndicated daytime talk show Steve, Little Big Shots on NBC and Celebrity Family Feud on ABC.
Over the pageant’s 67-year history, Bangkok has hosted Miss Universe in 1992 and 2005, with representatives of Thailand capturing the crown twice in 1965 and 1988.
