Mariah Carey is known to say what’s on her mind and she did just that Sunday on “Watch What Happens Live.”
The Elusive Chanteuse singer strolled into the clubhouse to chop it up with Andy Cohen about an array of topics and, of course, her new reality show “Mariah’s World.” Being her usual over the top glamorous self, MiMi worked a deep v-neck jumpsuit, sky high booties and was dripping in diamonds for her late night appearance.
MiMi’s diva meter was on 1,000! During a game of “Plead The Fifth,” the 46-year-old songstress had to set another Pop diva straight. Apparently, singer
Demi Lovato took issue with Mariah’s shade towards Jennifer Lopez. The infamous “I don’t know her” line set Demi off, so she blasted her on social media. Andy asked her about it and MiMi set Demi straight once and for all.
“I don’t know her either and so I wouldn’t say anything to her. She should come up, introduce herself to me, say ‘Here’s my opinion, what do you think about it?’ That’s how you handle sh*t, OK?”
During the game, she was also asked about her new boy toy Bryan Tanaka. Are they really a couple? Was he a factor in her breakup with James Packer? MiMi wouldn’t say. She basically kept saying everyone needed to tune in to her reality show to find out the real deal.
During a game of “Does She Know Her?!,” Andy went down a list of famous pop singers to see if Mariah knew any of them. When it came to Ariana Grande being compared to be a mini Mariah, well let’s just say MiMi “does not know her” either. Ha!
“I don’t know. Honestly, I’m not familiar. I listen to Hip Hop more than I listen to pop music.”
Then, she talked about her breakup with her ex-billionaire fiancé James Packer. A fan called in to ask if she took out scenes with James in “Mariah’s World.” She answered, “Yeah, I don’t want to put anybody in a position where they have to look at somebody they don’t want to see or its hurtful. It’s so fresh and it kind of just happened.”
But, Mariah isn’t taking the breakup too bad. When asked if their uncoupling stung her she responded, “No, I think that everything that’s meant to be it’s meant to be. I believe if it were supposed to happen, it would happen.”
She also showed love to Beyonce, saying “We’re friends. I think she’s one of the most talented women out there. I love her.”

Will we see scenes of Jamal in rehab?
Yes, we will. And we’re going to go through the journey of an artist who is addicted to pain medication, and we’ll see if he’s able to overcome those demons and get through it. That is going to be very much part of Jamal’s story.
Cookie is the one who told Jamal he’s going to rehab, so how will that impact their relationship? Will Jamal resent his mother?
She did it in the smartest way by including the entire family. This was very much Lucious and Cookie coming together as parents, in order for him to go to rehab. Obviously, Lucious and Cookie are in cahoots, and I think Jamal is able to look at it as a family intervention versus just Cookie. Sure, he’s going to feel betrayed, but I think he will understand that it’s the best for him.
Why did Cookie give Jamal the pills that she threw down the sink?
It’s a few things. First, going through withdrawal is extremely painful and dangerous and something that you just have to go and get somewhere to get clean — that couldn’t happen right then and there since she can’t call 911 because it would be all over the tabloids, and she doesn’t want to see her son suffer. It’s very painful withdrawal, so I think that’s part of it. Secondly, he has to compete the show or else his career would have been over, had he not performed, and she knew that. So she figured, might as well give it to him — she didn’t want to see her son in pain, and she didn’t want to see his career ruined — and smartly enough, right after, she gets his ass to rehab.
Trey Songz Brings Out Chris Brown At Real 92.3’s “Real Big Holiday” Concert
Trey Songz gave us a taste of his real family life with the video for his new holiday song, “Comin Home,” but on Friday night (Dec. 16) the R&B heartthrob surprised the Real 92.3 LA audience with one of his musical brothers.
While Trigga also brought back his signature braids on stage at the “REAL BIG Holiday” concert at the Microsoft Theater, he had the crowd in a frenzy when he brought out Chris Brown for a surprise set.
Breezy stepped out from backstage and hit the crowd with “Kriss Kross,” “Back to Sleep,” and his brand brand new single “Party.”
It’s been a while since we’ve seen Trey perform and he had the audience singing along to his every word, as he performed tracks like “Say Aah,” “2 Reasons,” “Foreign,” and “Bottoms Up.” Songz has been hitting the gym heavy, so of course the shirt came off and the ladies went into a frenzy, as he slowed it down with “Dive In” and “Can’t Be Friends.”

J. Cole’s ‘4 Your Eyez Only’ Debuts At No. 1
J. Cole earns his fourth No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with 4 Your Eyez Only. And yes, he did it without any features.
The North Carolina rapper’s latest album sold 492,000 equivalent album units (363,000 traditional) in its first week. This marks the third-biggest weekly sales sum for an album this year, behind Drake’s Views (1.04 million units, 852,000 traditional) and Beyoncé’s LEMONADE (653,000 units, 485,000 traditional). This was a more modest figure than the projected 550,000 sum.
As far as streaming is concerned, Eyez has the second-biggest streaming debut ever for an album with 118,000 streaming equivalent album units. That amounts to 51.7 million streams of 4 Your Eyez Only tracks. Drake’s Views is the only album to top this with 163,000 SEA units in its opening week, equating to 245.1 million streams of songs from the album.
With Eyez, J. Cole has had all four of his LPs reach the No. 1 spot, something only DMX and Drake have done before him. The 6 God has done this six times, while X had his first five albums reach the pinnacle position on the Billboard 200.
But it’s not just his fourth No. 1. It’s also his biggest opening week to date. In fact, all of J. Cole’s albums have had bigger first week sales than the previous LP. 2011’s Cole World: The Sideline Story sold 217,000 copies; 2013’s Born Sinner sold 297,000; 2014’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive sold 354,000. 4 Your Eyez Only bests all of that with 363,000.
Elsewhere on the chart, The Weeknd’s Starboy falls 2-3 with 109,000 units, Bruno Mars’ 24K Magic jumps 6-4 with 74,000 units, and Post Malone’s Stoney debuts at No. 6 with 58,000.
Hamilton also had a big week. The Broadway play’s musical album returned to the top 10 (11-7) with 48,000 units. However, The Hamilton Mixtape falls 1-14 in its second week with 36,000 units.

Camila Cabello Leaves Fifth Harmony but there’s more shade from Lauren Jauregui?
And then there were four. Fifth Harmony has announced that Camila Cabello has officially left the platinum-selling girl group.
The remaining members—Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, and Lauren Jauregui—shared the news with their fans on social media on Sunday (Dec. 18). “After four and a half years of being together, we have been informed via her representatives that Camila has decided to leave Fifth Harmony,” they said in a joint statement. “We wish her well.”
Despite the major change, 5H will go on. “We are excited to announce that we will be moving forward with the four of us,” they added. “We are four strong, committed women who will continue with Fifth Harmony as well as our solo endeavors. We are excited for our future, and we can’t wait for what the new year brings.”
Just this month, the girls told Z100 that they were planning a third album together. “2017’s gonna be poppin’,” said Normani. “The third album is definitely gonna be so lit,” added Dinah.
5H’s debut album Reflection and their sophomore LP 7/27 peaked at No. 5 and No. 4 respectively on the Billboard 200.
So far, Cabello has not issued a statement on her Fifth Harmony departure, but the 19-year-old is coming off two major solo features. Her Shawn Mendes duet “I Know What You Did Last Summer” reached No. 20 on the Hot 100 last year, while her Machine Gun Kelly collab “Bad Things” is a top 10 hit and has been certified gold.
Just before the departure announcement was made on Sunday, Fifth Harmony performed together for the last time as a quintet at Y100’s Jingle Ball at the BB&T Center in Sunrise, Fla. Following their performance, Camila joined MGK on stage for “Bad Things.”

"Katie and Jamie took a private jet to Cabo on Friday morning from Van Nuys Airport [in Los Angeles]," the insider tells Us. "It was a quick trip in honor of Katie's birthday. It was only them and two pilots on the plane."
Upon their arrival, the notoriously quiet pair, who started dating in 2013, took a limousine to the luxe Las Ventanas al Paraíso, a Rosewood Resort. "They stayed in one of the most private suites at the hotel, separate from other guests and entered by a small path," the source explains. "They wanted to be very discreet and had everything delivered to their room and taken care of by a personal butler."
Holmes, 38, and Foxx, 49, left Cabo on Saturday night and headed home to Los Angeles. "Suri was not with them," the insider adds.

Just when I start to lose all faith in humanity and think everything is dark and awful, I see something like this and my heart just melts. Dwayne Johnson, or The Rock, as some of you may know him better, showed off the singing chops that he recently showcased in the Disney film Moana to serenade his daughter, Jasmine, on her first birthday. The adorable little girl, whose Mom is Dwayne’s girlfriend Lauren Hashian, clapped along as her pop sang “Happy Birthday.” The Rock shared the sweet moment on Instagram on Friday.

White House: Berlin Truck-Crash Carnage Appears To Be “Terrorist Attack”; 9 Dead, 50-Plus Injured

The White House said today that a tractor-trailer speeding into a crowd at a Christmas market in Berlin “appears to have been a terrorist attack.” At least nine people were killed and more than 50 injured, and U.S. cable news networks rushed to cover the story during a busy news day.
A Berlin police spokesman said a suspect who matched the description of the truck driver was arrested a couple of hundreds yards from the scene, but they remain unsure about his involvement. The spokesman added that another person was found dead in the passenger seat in the 18-wheeler but did not offer specifics. Witnesses said the truck, which was registered in Poland and loaded with metal beams, was going about 40 mph when it slammed into the crowd.
The incident happened just before 8 PM local time outside of the Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church, one of the most popular tourist sites in the German capital. It was similar to the July truck attack that killed 86 people and injured hundreds after at a Bastille Day fireworks display in the French Riviera city of Nice, just east of Cannes.
“The United States condemns in the strongest terms what appears to have been a terrorist attack on a Christmas Market in Berlin, Germany, which has killed and wounded dozens,” a National Security Council spokesman said this afternoon. “We send our thoughts and prayers to the families and loved ones of those killed, just as we wish a speedy recovery to all of those wounded. We also extend our heartfelt condolences to the people and Government of Germany. We have been in touch with German officials, and we stand ready to provide assistance as they recover from and investigate this horrific incident. Germany is one of our closest partners and strongest allies, and we stand together with Berlin in the fight against all those who target our way of life and threaten our societies.”
Fearing a terrorist attack, the European nation has been on a heightened state of alert for the past couple of years. There have been numerous raids across Germany in recent months, and just two days ago police arrested a 12-year-old boy who had explosives and allegedly was planning to target a Christmas market. Local authorities said the boy twice failed to denote explosives in the southern city of Ludwigshafen.
