#MAGFAB: Patrick Dempsey Is PEOPLE’s 2023 Sexiest Man Alive!
He’s not just “McDreamy” anymore — Patrick Dempsey is now also People magazine’s Sexiest Man Alive.
The “Grey’s Anatomy” star and race car driver takes the mantle from “Captain America” star Chris Evans, who was 2022’s selection. The pick was revealed on “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” Tuesday night.

“I’ve always been the bridesmaid!” Dempsey, 57, told the magazine about his initial reaction. “I’d completely forgotten about it and never even contemplated being in this position. So my ego is good.”

The actor stars in the upcoming Michael Mann film “Ferrari.” He told The Associated Press last year that he did all the driving himself, calling it “the best role I’ve ever had.”
Dempsey has driven in several professional races, including the 24 Hours of Le Mans, and is part of the Wright Motorsports racing team, according to its website.

Dempsey said his three children are bound to tease him about his People magazine selection and “pick on me and figure out every reason why I shouldn’t be.”

The People edition with Dempsey’s cover story will be out Friday.
In addition to racing and acting, he founded the Dempsey Center, a Maine-based organization that provides care and resources for cancer patients, in honor of his late mother.

Dempsey achieved heartthrob status as Dr. Derek Shepherd — nicknamed “McDreamy” — on “Grey’s Anatomy,” appearing in more than 250 episodes.

He plays Italian race car driver Piero Taruffi in “Ferrari,” which arrives in theaters later this year. The film has received a waiver so that its stars can promote it without breaking rules in the ongoing actors strike.
Other Sexiest Man Alive recipients include Michael B. Jordan, John Legend, Paul Rudd, Brad Pitt, Harrison Ford and Mel Gibson, who was the magazine’s first recipient in 1985.

#RHOA: Why Shereé Whitfield Ended Up in a Wheelchair at BravoCon 2023!
Shereé Whitfield's foot isn't doing too peachy after a wild weekend in Las Vegas.
The Real Housewives of Atlanta star landed herself in a wheelchair on Nov. 5 on the last day of BravoCon 2023. The Bravolebrity surprised fans after she posted a photo of herself getting pushed in the chair by The Real Housewives of Orange County's Tamra Judge.

"Who gon' push her boo?" Shereé captioned the Instagram pic, referencing her forever-iconic season two line, "Who gon' check me boo?"

As for the story behind her injury, the She by Shereé founder addressed the incident later that night while taping the BravoCon Live "Reading Room" episode hosted by Andy Cohen at the Paris Theatre.
"I got into a little altercation with a golf cart," the 53-year-old told the audience after a fan asked about her wheelchair entrance. "I had hurt my foot. But I wanted to be here because you guys have been so supportive."

Earlier in the weekend, the reality star also reflected on her infamous RHOA season two in which she tugged on Kim Zolciak's wig during a heat fight outside a restaurant.

"That is probably the one thing that I regret, because I love Kim Zolciak," Shereé admitted during a Nov. 3 panel. "Things got turned around, and it just didn't go well that evening. I feel bad about that.

#NewMusic from Chris Brown & Byron Messia Link Up For new track “Nightmares”

Chris Brown sounds excellent in Caribbean and Afropop songs.Chris Brown fans have reason to celebrate, as a new album by the R&B legend is set to be released on November 11, which is this Friday! While Brown’s previous albums often featured extensive tracklists, his upcoming release, titled 11:11, will contain a more concise 22 tracks.

Out of the 22 tracks that are featured in 11:11, only six of them have features. One of the tracks with a feature is “Nightmares” with Byron Messia.
In “Nightmares,” Chris Brown and Byron Messia talk about pressing folks that try to f**k with their energy. Both musicians really pop off, getting very specific about the things they and their shooters will do to you. And trust me, shaking your hand isn’t one of the things they’ll do.

LISTEN HERE

What’s interesting about “Nightmares” is that it gives me the same vibes as “Talibans.” In the song, you get gutter lyrics masked with pleasant vocals, infectious melodies, and a pretty chill beat. If you don’t understand English, you would think the two artists were talking about picking flowers and s**t.

#HipHopNews: Eazy-E’s Family ‘Truly Grateful’ Compton Street Is Being Named
Eazy-E is set to be honored with a Compton street named after him, and the late rappers family is “truly grateful” for the honor.
Ahead of the November 22 event, the N.W.A. rapper’s son Lil Eazy-E spoke with AllHipHop about what the accolade means for his family.

“To hear our father Eric ‘Eazy-E’ Wright is being honored during the 50th anniversary of Hip Hop, it’s a testament to his impact and legacy in the genre,” he said. “His contributions to Hip Hop music and the entertainment business and culture continue to be recognized and celebrated, and we are truly grateful.”
He continued: “We will continue to make sure our father’s charitable contributions will continue to be our goal thru our nonprofit, the Eric Wright Foundation. We truly appreciate the honor.”

The City of Compton will rename Auto Plaza Drive South to “Eazy Street” on November 22 in a special event from noon to 3p.m. PT that will be open to the public. Lil Eazy-E and N.W.A’s DJ Yella will perform, as well as DJ Joe Cooley.

In other news, Eazy-E reportedly has “reels” of unreleased music, some of which feature collaborations with the legendary rock group Guns N’ Roses.
The Ruthless Records founder passed away nearly three decades ago but there could still be some posthumous records floating around, according to one of the late rapper’s close friends.

Rock The Bells caught up with Arnold “Bigg A” White at a listening event in March for Daz Dillinger and Lil Eazy-E’s joint album, The Legacy. According to him, Eazy had collaborations in the stash with Slash of Guns N’ Roses.

“There is unreleased music still out there,” Bigg A confirmed. “We know for a fact that he had two or three or four reels in his car when he went to the hospital. Those reels came up missing.

“He had songs with Slash from Guns n’ Roses — he had songs with Guns n’ Roses on those reels. Those reels have been found ’cause they wound up in Canada. That’s a whole other story, but what happened to them [since], I don’t know.”

He continued: “I don’t know if the estate got them, but there is unreleased music, and Yella has some, I know for a fact that there is some unreleased acapella vocals, that he was working on some records with a couple of producers I worked with and last I heard was that they were up in Dre’s studio.”
The Godfather of Gangsta Rap passed away on March 26, 1995 from complications related to AIDS-induced pneumonia.

The N.W.A frontman’s estate released Eazy’s only posthumous album, Str8 off tha Streetz of MuthaphukkinCompton, in January 1996 which reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and several years later an EP in 2002 titled Impact of a Legend.

Tracy Chapman becomes the first Black person to win Song of the Year at the CMAs

Tracy Chapman was honored with Song of the Year for her 1988 folk anthem "Fast Car" at the Country Music Awards on Wednesday, becoming the first Black songwriter to ever win the award.
"Fast Car" peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart following its release more than 30 years ago. The song was nominated for three Grammys when it first came out, and Chapman won Best Female Pop Vocal Performance.

But it got a second wind in recent months after singer Luke Combs came out with a cover of the song in April. His version peaked at No. 2 on the Hot 100 chart and won Single of the Year at the CMAs in Nashville.

Chapman did not attend the ceremony, but she sent a written statement.
Tracy Chapman's 'Fast Car' is the country song we didn't know we had
"I'm sorry I couldn't join you all tonight," she said. "It's truly an honor for my song to be newly recognized after 35 years of its debut. Thank you to the CMAs and a special thanks to Luke and all of the fans of 'Fast Car.'"

Combs called "Fast Car" his "first favorite song" in his acceptance speech for Single of the Year.
"First and foremost, I want to thank Tracy Chapman for writing one of the best songs of all time," he said. "Never intended for that – I just recorded it because I love this song so much. It's meant so much to me throughout my entire life. It's the first favorite song I ever had from the time I was four years old."

Chapman, a Cleveland native, is additionally behind such hits as "Give Me One Reason," "Baby Can I Hold You" and "Crossroads." She has been nominated for 13 Grammys and won four.

Leaked Photos Of Keke Palmer's Security Footage Show Darius Jackson's Alleged Violent Abuse
Darius Jackson's alleged abuse on Keke Palmer was caught on camera and now the evidence has surfaced online for everyone to see. After the actress filed for restraining order against her ex-boyfriend, photos from security footage she included in the petition have leaked online, showing his alleged violent abuse.

One incident captured in the images took place on November 5, during which Darius allegedly showed up unannounced at Keke's home. She said before 11 A.M. the fitness trainer burst into her bedroom and demanded to see their son, according to RadarOnline.com.

Darius told Keke he wanted to take their 8-month son to a football game, but when Keke opposed, she claimed Darius started screaming at her before he "lunged at me, grabbing at my neck and face, knocked me backwards over the couch, stole my phone out of my hands, and then ran out of the house." Keke said she called the police following the incident and they advised her to file the restraining order.

In her petition, Keke detailed another incident that went down in February 2022 and captured in the photos. During the incident, Keke said Darius "choked me and body slammed me onto the stairs in my home after becoming violently jealous and irrationally angry over a bikini picture." The images did show Darius lunging at Keke from behind near the stairs.

Keke claimed Darius became upset after she showed him a picture of her workout results while at a friend's party. "On the drive home, I was worried that we would get into an accident because of how angry he was. Darius spent the rest of the night yelling at me, not letting me sleep so he could keep yelling at me," she said.

"In the bedroom, he slammed me on the floor and slapped my head from side to side. The next morning, he was standing at the bottom of the stairs near the front door, screaming at me as I was coming down the stairs," she continued. "When I was almost at the bottom of the stairs, he grabbed me around the neck and body slammed me back onto the stairs."

Following her petition, RadarOnline.com reports that a Los Angeles Superior Court judge has granted Keke's motion for a temporary restraining order. The judge also granted the actress sole custody of their child until further notice.

Meanwhile, Darius' brother and Keke's mother have weighed in on the couple's drama. "The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER encountered in my entire life.. Abuses almost everyone. Y'all will see..," Sarunas Jackson wrote in a since-deleted tweet. He added, "Just send positive energy to the babies.. Any child in the middle of something like this does not deserve it AT ALL. Wow. So damn sad."

Responding to Sarunas' tweet, Keke's mother said in a video posted on social media, "He knew his brother was abusive." Calling his tweet "ridiculous," she claimed that she went over to Sarunas' place over a year ago and told him that his brother abusive, but his response was, "I used to be like that too."

Keke's mother additionally wrote, "I dare you, mess with my family. Family means everything to me ! You and your family act like sociopaths and like the world can't see it. You are phony! And I saw you from day one, my daughter is kind and our family treated you with kindness and this is how you treat it. I won't take this laying down anymore. IM DONE!"

Denying Keke's mother's allegations, Sarunas then responded, "I NEVER ONCE SAID THAT to Sharon. NOT ONCE IN MY LIFE. I have NEVER been abusive to any of the women I ever been involved with. I'm not going to keep on with this circus. But Sharon, the world is about to hear YOUR VOICE. Very soon. And the threats you made to my family. Be well everyone.. I know it's easy to get caught up in this but make no mistake that all of this is VERY sad."

The SAG-AFTRA Strike Is Over!

Hollywood will soon be back in action. After a grueling 118 days on strike, SAG-AFTRA has finally reached a tentative agreement with the Alliance of Motion Picture and Television Producers (AMPTP) that would end the actors strike.

In an announcement made on late Wednesday, November 8, the union said the SAG-AFTRA TV/Theatrical Committee approved the agreement in a unanimous vote. With that being said, the strike will officially end at 12:01 A.M. on Thursday, November 9. The agreement next goes to the SAG-AFTRA national board for approval on Friday.

Kevin E. West, a member of the committee, said there were "tears of exhilaration and joy" in the committee room after the contract was approved. "The final vote was unanimous. That's a difficult thing to accomplish," he said when speaking outside union headquarters. "It's honestly been a really long two weeks."

West admitted the final deal is "not perfect - nothing is," but that getting to this outcome was an "extraordinary" achievement. The full details are expected to be released on Friday, after the national board vote.
The news brought relief and joy to actors and filmmakers alike. Celebrating the end of the strike, Kumail Nanjiani took to X, formerly Twitter, to exclaim, "YES!!! Hallelujah. I can tweet a certain trailer that I am VERY EXCITED ABOUT at midnight." He was likely referring to "Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" which recently released a teaser trailer and features him among the cast members.

Daniel Dae Kim wrote, "Woo hooo!!!! Let's hope the deal is fair and we can get back to work!" Rosie Perez chimed in, "Say what???? YAY!!! The strike is over!!!!! @sagaftra."
Actor/comedian/director Albert Brooks added, "I can finally say it: watch my documentary Saturday night at 8 on HBO/MAX!" He was talking about his film "Albert Brooks: Defending My Life". He added, "I can't wait for you to see it! Couldn't say a word until now!!"

Filmmaker and DC Studios co-chief and co-CEO James Gunn simply posted a praying hands emoji on Threads. Actress/writer Dani Fernandez wrote, "Union strong. Being both WGA and SAG I have been on strike since May 2nd. Good lord. Thank you to everyone who had our back. Thank you to all my sister unions for joining the lines. Thank you to our strike captains, neg com, and pre guild folks who showed up. Strikes work."

Dior Sparks Outrage For Seemingly Replacing Bella Hadid With Israeli Model May Tager
Bella Hadid's outspoken support for Palestine may have cost her brand ambassador gig in Dior Beauty. The luxury house has reportedly replaced the supermodel, who is of Palestinian descent, with Israeli model May Tager.
Bella, who was first unveiled as its ambassador back in May 2016, was visibly absent in a new ad for the brand's new perfume La Collection Privee from its holiday season collection. Instead, the new promo highlighted May, indicating that Dior Beauty has tapped May to lead the campaign.

A local Israeli newspaper appeared to confirm the new alteration. "While many companies around the world refrain from openly supporting Israel, international brand Dior has chosen Israeli model May Tager to lead their campaign, a role previously held by Bella Hadid, who has long been an advocate for the Palestinian cause and a vocal critic of Israel," it noted.

Social media users, meanwhile, put Dior on blast for the move. "Dior kept rapist abuser Johnny Depp as their face of their brand. Just so everyone knows. Company filled with devils, I hope Bella is okay," one critic wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
"The fact that dior still gives the wifebeater johnny depp a platform despite everything that happened just tells you everything about that brand," another user noted. "Absolutely vile and unprofessional to target bella when she has been vocal about palestine from the very beginning."

Another supported Bella, saying, "Lmao they got rid of the most famous model, she don't need dior lol she rich enough, bye bye dior." Echoing the sentiment, one other wrote, "Bella Hadid is literally THE model of this generation, their LOSS. Slay Bella, Palestinian Queen."
Neither Dior and Bella has addressed the alleged shift. May, meanwhile, has limited her comments on her Instagram account after getting numerous comments from Bella's fans.

Bella did continue to voice support for Palestine despite receiving death threats. The Victoria's Secret model wrote on Instagram on October 26, "Forgive me for my silence. I have yet to find the ideal words for this deeply intricate and horrific past 2 weeks, weeks that have turned the world's attention back towards a situation that has been taking innocent lives and affecting families for decades. I have much to say, but for today, I will keep it short."

"I've been sent hundreds of death threats daily, my phone number has been leaked, and my family has felt to be in danger," she continued. "But I cannot be silenced any longer. Fear is not an option. The people and children of Palestine, especially in Gaza, cannot afford our silence. We are not brave - they are."
The sister of Gigi Hadid added, "My heart is bleeding with pain from the trauma I am seeing unfold, as well as the generational trauma of my Palestinian blood. Seeing the aftermath from the airstrikes in Gaza, I mourn with all the mothers who have lost children and the children who cry alone, all the lost fathers, brothers, sisters, uncles, aunties, friends that will never again walk this earth." Bella, however, stressed that "arming women and children and inflicting terror does not and should not do any good for the Free Palestine movement."

Concluding her lengthy statement, the 27-year-old beauty noted, "We need to keep pressure on our leaders, wherever we are, not to forget the urgent needs of the people of Gaza, and to ensure that innocent Palestinian civilians are not the forgotten casualties of this war. I stand with humanity, knowing that peace and safety belong to us all."

Jeezy Opens Up About Being Abused By His Babysitter

Jeezy a.k.a. Young Jeezy says he was sexually abused by a female babysitter. The "Seen it All" rapper made the shock claim while discussing his traumatic upbringing, which he said also involved him witnessing a friend's dad repeatedly shoot his wife.
He told actress Nia Long in a chat released on his YouTube channel an unnamed babysitter who was older than him subjected him to be "touching" and "doing things" that "don't normally happen to kids." When Nia asked him to clarify if he meant he had been molested, Jeezy, born Jay Jenkins, replied, "Right, basically."

He added in the interview, titled "I Might Forgive… But I Don't Forget" after his latest studio album, "I was introduced to sex at a very young age." The 46-year-old then told how he suffered more trauma as a child when he went to a neighbor's house for a playdate and saw his dad's father shoot his wife approximately four times.

He shared, "It just stuck with me. Before I was eight, I had already accepted this was the norm. I was already desensitized. It gave me, like, this thing to always protect myself."
Jeezy also said he left home at 13 years old because his mom had allegedly "pulled a gun" on him after a disagreement and years of them feuding. He made the claims as he is going through a split from Jeannie Mai, 44, after he filed for divorce from her in September and said the marriage was "irretrievably broken."

The filing is said to have stunned Jeannie, who was reportedly left "devastated" and hoping she and Jeezy would reconcile. A source told Page Six: "The truth is Jeannie wants her marriage to work and wants her family to be one solid unit."
Jeezy said about the break-up, "I can tell you that I'm saddened. I can tell you I'm disappointed. I can tell you that I'm uneasy. I can only do what I can do. I can't expect someone else to do what I'm doing."

In 2018, Jeannie said on her talk show that she had been sexually abused by a family member when she was aged nine.

Ex-worker's lawsuit alleges music mogul L.A. Reid sexually assaulted her in 2001
NEW YORK -- Antonio “L.A.” Reid, the Grammy-winning music executive who influenced the career of artists including Pink, Usher and Mariah Carey, was sued by a former music executive who says he sexually assaulted her and derailed her career.

Drew Dixon filed the lawsuit Wednesday in a New York federal court. Dixon, who worked for Reid when he was chief executive of Arista Records, alleges that Reid sexually assaulted her twice in 2001 and later cut her budget and sidelined artists when she rebuffed his continuing advances.
Dixon left Arista in 2002 and contends that her “meteoric trajectory” in the music business was cut short by Reid's harassment.

“This litigation is not only about the horrific physical assaults that Ms. Dixon had to endure but it is also about the irreparable damage done to the rare and blossoming career of an extraordinary talent,” the lawsuit said.
Dixon is seeking unspecified damages.

The Associated Press does not typically name people who say they were sexually assaulted unless they come forward publicly.
Messages left for Joel Katz, an attorney who represented Reid when Dixon first made her allegations public in 2017, weren't immediately returned Wednesday night.

The Associated Press wasn't immediately able to find a publicist, agent, or other contact number for Reid. The New York Times, which first reported the news of the lawsuit, said Reid didn't respond to multiple requests for comment Wednesday.
Dixon sued under New York state’s Adult Survivors Act, passed last year, which allows alleged victims of sexual abuse a one-year window to sue even if the original statute of limitations has passed. The deadline is Nov. 24.

In 2017, Reid left his position as CEO of Epic Records after a former female assistant accused him of sexual harassment.
Reid told The New York Times at the time: “I’m proud of my track record promoting, supporting and uplifting women at every company I’ve ever run. That notwithstanding, if I have ever said anything capable of being misinterpreted, I apologize unreservedly.”

'Good Burger' star Kel Mitchell, also known for his role in 'Kenan & Kel', was rushed into the emergency room, where he remains hospitalized.
The actor was admitted to a hospital in the L.A. area on Tuesday night, where he arrived through the emergency room.
According to reports, Mitchell appeared to be conscious and alert when he got into the hospital.

Kel Mitchell is reportedly in the hospital Wednesday, receiving treatment. At this time, it is unclear when he'll be released or what his current condition is.
It is also unclear what led him to be hospitalized in the first place.
Despite, being in the emergency room, Mitchell seems to be active on Instagram, however, it is mainly promotional stuff, meaning his PR team is more than likely in charge of posting while he is being treated.

Mitchell has an upcoming “Celebrity Squares” appearance, though this was pre-taped, as well as Paramount+’s upcoming “Good Burger 2,” in which he will reprise his role as Ed, a cashier at the fast food restaurant, alongside his friend and co-worker Dexter Reed, played by Kenan Thompson.

Combined Disney+ and Hulu App to Launch in Beta in December
A combined Disney+ and Hulu app is set to launch in its beta form this December, Disney CEO Bob Iger announced Wednesday.
“We feel great about how the combination gives us an ability to essentially lower customer acquisition costs, reduce marketing, hopefully reduce churn and, most importantly, create more engagement,” Iger said while appearing on CNBC.

The combined app, which will be available to bundle subscribers, is estimated to officially launch in late March.
The Disney boss noted the combination is “great for advertisers,” pointing to advertiser-supported subscriptions that “are actually quite a bargain.”

A December launch date is on par with the entertainment giant’s previous estimation that the combined app would be on the market by the end of 2023, per Iger’s remarks during Disney’s second-quarter earnings call in May.
The announcement comes as Disney releases its fourth quarter earnings report, which revealed that Disney+ added almost 7 million subscribers for a total of 112.6 million subscribers, which includes 46.5 million domestic subscribers and 66.1 million international subscribers. On the other hand, subscribers for Disney+ Hotstar, the India equivalent of Disney+, fell 7% year over year to 37.6 million subscribers.

While the app is slated to offer content from across Disney+ and Hulu, Disney will continue offering Disney+, Hulu and ESPN+ as standalone options.
“This is a logical progression of our [direct-to-consumer] offerings that will provide greater opportunities for advertisers, while giving bundle subscribers access to more robust and streamline content, resulting in greater audience engagement and ultimately leading to a more unified streaming experience,” Iger said in May.

At the time, Iger also spotlighted the “advertising potential” of the new service, noting that the company is “focused on the growth opportunity in programmatic advertising, and we are well positioned to scale as the market improves and audiences continue to grow.”

Exonerated Five member Yusef Salaam reacts to winning seat on New York City Council

On Tuesday (Nov. 7), the Exonerated Five’s Yusef Salaam won an unopposed seat on the New York City Council and will be representing the ninth district, which is located in central Harlem. The achievement comes after scoring an impressive victory during the Democratic primary back in June.

Following a short introduction from fellow Exonerated Five member Raymond Santana, Salaam spoke to his supporters after the news became official. “When I think about this case that ran over us with spiked wheels, I often called it, now, a love story between God and his people,” he began. “I want you to consider that when they built the power to consume us, they forgot the owner of the heat. I got my wife by my side. We woke up this morning, and even though it was a gloomy day, the sun was still shining above the clouds.”

Salaam continued, “While tomorrow, we begin the hard work of legislation, tonight, we mark the beginning of another chapter in God’s love story to his people. We embark on this mission with a shared dream. A dream of a brighter, inclusive, prosperous future for us all, where equality is not just a buzzword, but a living reality. I am proud to say that our collective efforts have born fruit and we are one step closer to being the change we want to see.”

As previously reported, Salaam, alongside Santana, Korey Wise, Kevin Richardson, and Antron McCray, spent several years in prison after a white jogger was raped and beaten in Central Park in 1989. Their sentences were overturned in 2002 after another man, Matias Reyes, confessed to the crimes. In 2019, the Ava DuVernay-directed Netflix docuseries “When They See Us” brought additional light into the lives and families of the Exonerated Five and what they endured at the hands of the justice system.

Keke Wyatt Spills the Tea on Her and Angie Stone’s Fallout on ‘R&B: Divas’
Keke Wyatt is flying high as she prepares her first album in six years while managing her return to reality television.
The soulful R&B singer gave fans a full glimpse into her life on “Keke Wyatt’s World,” but some fans will never forget her tumultuous time on another reality series.

Wyatt was a fan-favorite on the hit show, “R&B Divas: Atlanta,” that also included other legendary vocalists such as “Touch It” artist Monifah, Syleena Johnson, Brownstone singer Nicci Gilbert and Faith Evans. The series first aired in 2012, but Wyatt left after just two seasons, following a series of heated back-and-forth incidents with her castmates.

Wyatt revealed where she stands with each of the ladies.
“Syleena Johnson was just being in a wench,” she said. “But that’s my homie. She cool. She real. She was acting weird on the show, though.

When asked to clarify what she referred to as “acting weird,” Wyatt said, “I don’t know. I don’t want to talk about it.”
She added that she’s still cool with Gilbert, and talks regularly to Faith. For season two, former Xscape singer LaTocha Scott and Angie Stone joined the cast, though Wyatt seemed to butt heads the most with Stone.

“Angie Stone is, like, really like my homie. She … is nothing what people think. She is a sweet woman and she is Godly. And like, the Lord really works through her and she’s a beautiful person.”

In the midst of a heated argument during one episode, Wyatt explained that she had a lot of respect and love for Stone but she had to call her out for previous remarks she had made about Gilbert
At the time, the “No More Rain” singer was standing ten toes down on what she said and would not budge. “Ok, well what you want to do ’bout it?” she said to Wyatt as she was At the time, Stone was standing ten toes down on what she said and would not budge.

Stone said, “Okay, well, what you want to do ’bout it?” and then Wyatt responded by saying, “Well, we can go outside if it gotta go to that.”
Both ladies never made it outside, but the “Mahogany Soul” singer quit “R&B Divas” the following year in 2014. Wyatt believes that is when they began to understand each other on a deeper level.

“I think that the day that we both decided to quit the show is when we like connected because I understood everything she was saying as she understood everything I was saying. And it just kind of went from there,” Wyatt explained.

The mother of 11 claims their friendship is nothing like how it was portrayed on the show.
“That was why I was afraid of reality TV because they purposely put her there to aggravate the hell out of me,” said Wyatt.
She now describes their relationship as one where they are “the best of friends and sisters in Christ.”

She added, “And now, like, I’ll call her if I’m going through some crazy crap. I will call her and be like, ‘Pray for me. Pray with me right now.’ And she will literally drop whatever she’s doing,” Wyatt continued.
“R&B Divas: Atlanta” was later canceled in 2015 after three seasons, but Wyatt has adamantly stated her belief that the cancelation stemmed from her unwillingness to return.

Viewers can now watch more of Wyatt on the next episode of “Keke Wyatt’s World” on WE tv on Thursday, Nov. 9 at 9 p.m. EST. Episodes will be available for streaming the following day on ALLBLK.

Jennifer Hudson and Common Spotted Holding Hands!

Jennifer Hudson is still playing coy as it pertains to publicly claiming Common as her boyfriend. But one thing she is doing is letting it be known that the speculated romance is more than just a fling.

The “American Idol” alum stopped by “CBS Mornings” on Nov. 6 to dish about the new season of her eponymous talk show and all of the highs of life these days. Co-host Gayle King would have been remiss if she did not wedge in an opportunity to inquire about the extracurriculars that have Hudson doing very well personally.

“Word on the street is you’re very happy,” said King. “I am very happy,” responded the EGOT winner. “Very nice relationship,” continued King before Hudson confirmed the romance. “Yes, ma’am.”

Co-host Nate Burleson tried his hand at getting the singer to state that she was off the market by asking, “So you boo’ed up?”
“Boo’ed up, hmm. I think it’s more sophisticated than boo’ed up…situationship…it’s definitely not an entanglement. That’s for sure,” quipped the powerhouse vocalist. After the interview clip was shared on YouTube, one viewer commented, “She’s with Common y’all.”

Elsewhere online, another person who took her remarks as confirmation said, “It took long enough lol.”
Questions about whether Hudson and Common are a couple began swarming in July 2022, when the entertainers were spotted together in Philadelphia.

Since then, they have been photographed appearing cozy with each other and gallivanting in the streets of Chicago, most recently in New York on Nov. 4. Paparazzi managed to snap the duo holding hands as they left the popular live music venue Joe’s Pub.
Last month, the “Aretha” star gushed about plans to attend one of Usher’s Las Vegas residency performances. “And I’mmma bring my boyfriend, all right. We gon’ sit in the back and watch because Usher is everybody’s boyfriend,” she said on the Emmy Award-winning daytime show.

Another comment following Hudson’s recent relationship admission read, “That’s a perfect stage name for him, that’s for sure. He might want to change it though bcuz he has definitely gave it another meaning. Never paid him much attention until his name started poppin up all around LA with this one and that one. Poor TH can’t seem to get over him though.”

Prior to canoodling with Hudson, Common dated Tiffany Haddish after connecting on Bumble in 2020. The comedian seemed quite smitten with the rapper, but this past July, she admitted to The Washington Post that their dynamic changed in 2021 when he failed to invite her to his birthday and other events. They parted ways before the year’s end.

The “Girls Trip” standout would later go on to debunk his public claim that their breakup was mutual. Fans have dubbed Common a serial bachelor who does not intend on committing long-term to anyone. Bruce Willis’ condition is ‘the same,’ which daughter Tallulah says is ‘best thing you can ask for’
Bruce Willis’ daughter Tallulah Willis is sharing an update regarding her dad’s health after the “Die Hard” actor was diagnosed with frontotemporal dementia (FTD) earlier this year.
“He has a really aggressive cognitive disease, a form of dementia that’s very rare,” Tallulah said on Wednesday’s episode of the “Drew Barrymore Show,” adding, “He is the same, which I think, in this regard, I’ve learned is the best thing you can ask for.”

Tallulah is the youngest daughter of Bruce and actress Demi Moore, who were married from 1987 to 2000. They are also parents Tallulah’s older sisters, Scout and Rumer Willis. In 2009, Bruce married Emma Heming and they share two young daughters.
Bruce’s family – including Heming, Moore and his five daughters – have regularly given updates on his condition after they released their statement in February that he was diagnosed with FTD.

Being open about Bruce’s progress is “important,” Tallulah said on Wednesday, adding that her family’s goal is to “spread awareness about FTD.”
“If we can take something that we’re struggling with as a family, individually, to help other people, to turn it around, to make something beautiful about it – that’s really special for us,” she said.

According to the Mayo Clinic, FTD is an “umbrella term for a group of brain disorders that primarily affect the frontal and temporal lobes of the brain. These areas of the brain are generally associated with personality, behavior and language.”

Last month, Bruce’s friend and “Moonlighting” collaborator Glenn Gordon Caron told the New York Post that the actor is non-verbal, adding that “all those language skills are no longer available to him, and yet he’s still Bruce.”
This week, Tallulah said that “a huge part” of how she spends time with her father now is by “playing music, and just sitting in this energy of love.”
“I see love when I’m with him,” she later added. “And it’s my dad, and he loves me, which is really special.”

Former Grammy Chief Neil Portnow Sued for Rape

Neil Portnow, the former chairman and president of the Recording Academy, was sued on Wednesday by a woman who claimed he drugged and raped her in a New York hotel room in 2018, according to the New York Times.

The allegation had previously surfaced in 2020 as part of a blockbuster legal claim filed by Portnow’s successor, Deborah Dugan, after she was abruptly placed on leave and ultimately terminated after just eight months on the job; at the time Portnow called the allegations “ludicrous, and untrue.”

The new suit, filed in New York State Supreme Court in Manhattan, accuses Portnow, who stepped down in 2019, of sexual battery, and accuses the academy — the nonprofit group behind the Grammys — of negligence. Dugan’s claim also said the Recording Academy’s board was aware of the allegations.

The suit does not name the woman, but it describes her as an instrumentalist from outside the United States who once performed at Carnegie Hall. The court papers include redacted related correspondence the woman, who has not spoken of the incident publicly until now, exchanged with the academy in 2018.

“Neil Portnow gives lip service to women as standing up,” said Jeffrey R. Anderson, a lawyer for the plaintiff, according to the Times. “But he does a disservice to every woman and every musician who is being oppressed by him and others. This is not just about Neil Portnow and not just about the Recording Academy, but about the culture in the music and entertainment industry and its doublespeak about rape and abuse.”

Anderson’s comment makes reference to Portnow’s controversial statement at that year’s Grammys, in which he responded to a question from a Variety reporter by saying that female artists and executives needed to “step up” in order to advance in the music industry.
In a statement, a representative for Portnow called the allegations false, and said they were “the product of the plaintiff’s imagination and undoubtedly motivated by Mr. Portnow’s refusal to comply with the plaintiff’s outrageous demands for money and assistance in obtaining a residence visa for her.”

“The latest incarnation” of her accusations, he said, “offers a ‘new and improved’ story, padding it with even more outrageous and untrue allegations.”
The Recording Academy said in a statement to Variety: “We continue to believe the claims to be without merit and intend to vigorously defend the Academy in this lawsuit.”

In the suit, the plaintiff claims she met Portnow at a Recording Academy event in January 2018, when the most recent year that Grammys were held in New York. She says invited her to the ceremony, and later told her he would return to New York in the spring. The two met at his hotel that June.
Portnow greeted her in the lobby and brought her to his room, the suit continues, where he gave her Grammy memorabilia and offered her a glass of wine. She drank but he did not, she says in the suit, and she “began to feel woozy.” She told him she wanted to leave but he said no taxis were available, it continues.

The suit says that Portnow then told the woman, “I have been thinking about you for a very long time,” before she passed out. She claims she awoke several times throughout the night while Portnow was sexually assaulting her. The suit claims that Portnow is ignored several later attempts by the woman to contact him. However, it includes and image of a November 2018 email from a lawyer for Portnow to the woman in which he wrote, “Please know that I have always respected you in every way at all times, both professionally and personally. I remember your indicating your interest and belief in the teachings of Buddha and I found this saying which resonates with you now: ‘Better than a thousand hollow words, is one word that brings peace.’”

The suit states that the woman later filed a police report naming Portnow, according to the suit, although the district attorney’s office had declined to prosecute.

On Wednesday, a rep for Portnow said that after the woman’s initial accusation, he “immediately enlisted the Academy’s HR Department to review the nonsensical text messages and emails that he made immediately available. An outside independent investigation, led by top-tier lawyers, reviewed all relevant texts, emails, interviewed witnesses and found absolutely no proof to support any of the allegations.” However, the woman’s complaint states that she was never interviewed as part of any academy investigation.
