#RHOA: Cynthia Bailey Graces The Cover Of ‘Harper’s Bazaar’ Serbia And Talks Her ‘Third Act’
Although Cynthia Bailey is embracing a new chapter, her stunning face card and modeling finesse remain timeless.
The veteran supermodel is the latest face of Harper’s Bazaar Serbia’s digital cover. The former Real Housewives of Atlanta star pulled in readers with her striking eyes, iconic cheekbones and alluring pout. Styled by creative powerhouse Oliver Brown, the model graced the cover in a vibrant Ella Zahlan gown.
Another one of her looks was a seafoam green architectural masterpiece designed by Yimeng Yu.
On Instagram Aug. 9, Bailey noted that her Harper’s Baazar Serbia cover story celebrated her delving into her “third act.”
The model said she wanted everything about her cover to “capture the essence of Hollywood Glam.” She also shared that her “dream role” as an actress is to star as icon Diahann Carroll. Bailey described the groundbreaking performer as “the epitome of beauty, style, grace, class and strength.”
“The first act: Cynthia the fashion model.
The second act: Cynthia the TV personality.
The third act: Cynthia the actress.
My focus at this point in my life is the third act.”
And while the fire of her modeling days is well and alive on her latest cover, Bailey is indeed building upon her acting career.
The 56-year-old beauty has added quite a few credits to her IMDb page within the last year, including BET+’s 2023 film Under The Influence, Tubi’s The Stepmother and UMC’s miniseries Terror Lake Drive.
Bailey shared how life’s first two “acts” have readied her for her third within her Harper’s Bazaar Serbia cover story. The model, reality star and actress — who starred in The Cosby Show in 1990 — noted that she’s ready to work toward conquering the acting scene next.
“I think my career as a model and reality TV star prepared me for acting. I’ve always had a passion for acting, but I never wanted to commit to it until I actually had the time to commit to it. I never wanted acting to be my side job. When I was ready to invest the time and really focus on it, that’s when I let her go. It is important for me to work and gain the respect of my fellow actors, as well as the directors and producers I work with.”

Check it out below.
In July, a now-deleted account claiming to be Jackson criticized Palmer’s attire. The viral tweet read, “It’s the outfit, [though]… You a mom.”
A subsequent post from the user shared, “We live in a generation where a man of the family doesn’t want the wife [and] mother [of] his kids to showcase booty cheeks to please others [and] he gets told how much of a hater he is. This is my family [and] my representation. I have standards [and] morals to what I believe. I rest my case.”
Although the incident sparked debate, Palmer managed to monetize the situation by launching “I’m a Motha” T-shirts. In response to the moment, she shared a video on Instagram, singing Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She Lovely” to her baby.
Meanwhile, Usher weighed in on the situation in a People interview on Aug. 4, focusing on the fun they had in Las Vegas. #HipHopNews: Lauren London Pays Tribute To Nipsey Hussle On His 38th Birthday
Lauren London shared a heartfelt tribute on what would have been Nipsey Hussle’s 38th birthday. In an Instagram post, the actress honored the memory of her late partner and father of their child, Kross Asghedom.
The statement included a picture of the Victory Lap artist sporting a white Puma jacket alongside a caption that conveyed her sense of love and longing. “Honoring the day you blessed the Earth with your presence. Forevermore. I love you,” she wrote. Supportive blue heart emojis filled the comment section from celebrities like Taraji P. Henson, Kelly Rowland, and Yara Shahidi.
Hussle was fatally shot on March 31, 2019 outside his store in Los Angeles. Eric Holder, the man responsible for the killing, was sentenced to 60 years in prison in February. The incident followed a heated argument between the two, which allegedly stemmed from rumors that Holder cooperated with police.
In the aftermath of Hussle’s tragic death, London regularly commemorated his memory by marking occasions such as birthdays and anniversaries. The late rapper left behind his son Kross with London and a daughter, Emani Asghedom, from a previous relationship.
During a January episode of the “PEOPLE Every Day” podcast, the actress confessed her ongoing struggle with grief and the emotional journey of healing. “I don’t want to give a misconception that I’m at peace and I’m walking around on a cloud,” she admitted. “I have to wake up with the intention of this every day because there are days I don’t want to, and I’m angry about it. That’s what healing is. It’s up and down, side to side, all over the place. And with each new level, there’s something else.”
London added, “I wish he was here, so it’s really a choice. And I’m making a choice every day, but I don’t wanna give off this perception that you know, ‘Oh, everything’s all flowers.’ But I think if you make the choice and that you’re intentional with how you would like to show up in life, it could be more gentle than harsh.”
Sandra Bullock Defended By Fans After She's Asked To Return Her Oscar Amid 'The Blind Side' Scam
Fans have jumped to Sandra Bullock's defense after she was dragged into "The Blind Side" controversy. The actress has been asked to forfeit her Oscar amid Michael Oher's claims that his "adoptive" parents swindled him, but some others believe that she should not be blamed for the fallout between the former NFL star and the Tuohys.
One of the trolls wrote, "So Sandra Bullock should have to give back her Oscar right, and man do we need to start checking these good feeling stories. The parents blocked $300 in earnings the movie from him getting any of it and gave the money to their real children? WOOOOOOOW!"
Another, who thinks that Gabourey Sidibe should've earned the Oscar for her role in "Precious: Based on the Novel PUSH by Sapphire", weighed in, "If the Michael Oher allegations are true then we have to go AND TAKE THE OSCAR back from Sandra Bullock and give it to Gabourey Sidibe for 'Precious'." A third added, "Sandra Bullock should give her Oscar back. She knows she didn't deserve that s**t."
Disagreeing with the haters, one person who defended Sandra said, "People are really blaming sandra bullock???? If Michael oher didn't know until recently how tf was she supposed to know???" Another pointed out, "Someone said if Michael Oher didn't know until 2023 how was Sandra Bullock supposed to know. She just lost her partner and her children just lost their father, leave them alone."
"Def vile on the Tuohy's part, but what does Sandra Bullock have to do with this? She was the actress, not a private investigator. How was she supposed to know this is what was going on at that time?" a third fan argued. A fourth person echoed the sentiment as saying, "Now what y'all NOT gon do is blame Sandra Bullock for that Blind Side mess. If that lady fooled everybody, even journalists and the 'adoptee' how was Sandy supposed to know? Shut UP."
Another claimed, "Sandra Bullock starred in the fictionalized adaptation of 'The Blind Side.' It is totally misguided and unfair to assign blame to her for the new and deeply disturbing allegations about the real-life story."
Someone else blasted the trolls, "Kind of weird of some of you to demand sandra bullock answer for her role in the blind side as if she knew anything about it when michael himself said he only started looking into things in 2016, almost a decade after the blind side came out."
Oher initiated legal proceedings concerning the profits generated by "The Blind Side" earlier this week. In his legal filing against the family, he claims that the Tuohys never adopted him and that he was tricked into signing a document that made the pair his conservators instead of his adoptive parents and allowed them to profit off his name.
"The lie of Michael's adoption is one upon which Co-Conservators Leigh Anne Tuohy and Sean Tuohy have enriched themselves at the expense of their Ward, the undersigned Michael Oher," the filing says. "Michael Oher discovered this lie to his chagrin and embarrassment in February of 2023, when he learned that the Conservatorship to which he consented on the basis that doing so would make him a member of the Tuohy family, in fact provided him no familial relationship with the Tuohys."
Responding to the allegations, Sean Tuohy told the Daily Memphian that his family was "stunned" and devastated. He added, "It's upsetting to think we would make money off any of our children. But we're going to love Michael at 37 just like we loved him at 16."

'American Horror Story: Delicate' Gets Spooky Release Date
Emma Roberts, Kim Kardashian, Cara Delevingne will take center stage in Season 12 of the anthology series.
American Horror Story's 12th season, titled AHS: Delicate, will premiere on September 20, 2023, and will be split into two parts.
The season is based on the novel Delicate Condition and follows a woman who fears a sinister force is trying to harm her pregnancy, giving it a feminist twist.
The new season features Emma Roberts returning to the series, alongside Kim Kardashian in her first major acting role, Cara Delevingne, Zachary Quinto, and others.
Get ready to rock the cradle. FX has just announced the release date for the 12th season of Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk's hit horror anthology series American Horror Story. The new season, titled AHS: Delicate, will air in two parts, with the first part of the season premiering on FX on September 20, 2023. The news of the season's release date follows the release of the first poster for the upcoming season, which was shared earlier today.
The new poster shows season star, and frequent Murphy colloborator, Emma Roberts cradling a spider that is wrapped around her torso to resemble a baby bump. AHS: Delicate is based on the Danielle Valentine novel titled Delicate Condition. The book follows a woman who becomes paranoid that a sinister force is attempting to stop her pregnancy. The new season is being compared to Rosemary's Baby with a feminist twist. At the moment, further details about the series are being played close to the vest, but in true AHS manner, fans can be sure the new season will be delightfully frightful.
The new season comes from showrunner Halley Feiffer. Starring alongside Roberts is Kim Kardashian in one of her first lead acting roles. Also starring in the series are Cara Delevingne, Zachary Quinto, Michaela JaΓ© Rodriguez, Matt Czuchry, Annabelle Dexter-Jones, Julie White, Odessa A’zion, and Debra Monk
We're Expecting... Something New and Horrible
The new season of the series is the first to take the route of adapting another work. Previous seasons have paid homage to certain horror subgenres they have all been original ideas. For instance American Horror Story Season 9, called American Horror Story: 1984, took on the slasher genre and served plenty of camp horror at, well, camp. American Horror Story:1984 was also the last season of the series to feature Roberts, and American Horror Story: Delicate will mark her return to the series.
Texas Woman Awarded $1.2 Billion in Revenge Porn Suit Against Ex-Boyfriend
A Texas woman has been awarded more than $1 billion following a disturbing case involving revenge porn.
The New York Times reports a Houston-area jury determined the woman, identified by the initials D.L., will receive $1.2 billion in exemplary damages from her ex-boyfriend, who distributed sexually explicit photos of the victim on the internet without her consent.
The news comes over a year after the victim filed a harassment lawsuit against her former boyfriend in April 2022, accusing the defendant, Marques Jamal Jackson, of breaching her personal computer en route to posting intimate photos and images of her online.
"This type of experience is devastating," the woman said. "It's extremely painful. It's hurtful. It's embarrassing and you fear that either something will trigger and it will start again or that the previous effort inspired someone new and then they might start."
The woman says Jackson began sabotaging her life after they broke up in 2020 following four years of dating. The defendant is accused of publishing photos of the victim on Facebook, Twitter, Dropbox, and even Pornhub, while also sending the images to D.L.'s friends and family via email.
Granted, it's unlikely the victim will receive the total amount awarded to her by the jury. The sum includes $200 million for past and future mental anguish, in addition to $1 billion in exemplary damages.
One of D.L.'s attorneys, Jacob Schiffer, maintained the jury's decision should steer people away from considering using revenge porn to get back at an ex. "For the future, anyone thinking of wanting to do this to somebody else that is going to weigh on them like a ball and chain until the date that they're buried," he said.
Brad Gilde, another lawyer for D.L., noted, "The communication from the jury is that you make it your mission to ruin someone emotionally for the rest of your life, then you are going to be facing a judgment that’s going to ruin you financially for the rest of your life,” he said.

I remember when we [first] met as teenagers [and] you said, ‘Hey, my name Melvin,’ [and] I laughed so hard [and] I said, ‘Wait, you really talk like that?’ and you said, ‘Yuuuup’ [and] I kept laughing, [and] I [asked], ‘What you do?’ You said, ‘I rap’ [and] you kicked [eight] bars. [And] I said, ‘You remind me of Q-Tip,’ and you said, ‘He [is] one of my favorite emcees,’ but your flow was VA. I loved it [and] from that day we became so cool.”

I played this verse over and over, [and] posting this is just heartbreaking. I am so lost for words,” she added. You can check out the social media post below.

Sage Steele, ESPN Anchor Once Disciplined for Coronavirus Comments, Exits After Settling Lawsuit
Sage Steele, the veteran ESPN sportscaster who became better known in recent years for her stances on hot topics like coronavirus vaccinations, has left the Disney sports giant.
Steele, who joined ESPN in 2007, said on social media that she had recently settled a lawsuit with her employer after she was suspended in 2021 for comments she made on an outside podcast about getting vaccinated, how women dress and former President Barack Obama’s lineage.
“Having successfully settled my case with ESPN/Disney, I have decided to leave so I can exercise my first amendment rights more freely,” Steele said. “I am grateful for so many wonderful experiences over the past 16 years and am excited for my next chapter!” Steele had alleged in a 2022 lawsuit that Disney and ESPN retaliated against her for the comments she made during the podcast, hosted by Jay Cutler, taking away high-profile assignments. She charged the companies had breached her contract and violated her free-speech rights.
“ESPN and Sage Steele have mutually agreed to part ways. We thank her for her many contributions over the years,” the network said in a statement.
ESPN has been working to cut costs as its parent company grapples with declines in viewership and advertising for its linear businesses. The company has cut ties with a number of prominent announcers and analysts, including Keyshawn Johnson, Jeff Van Gundy and Jalen Rose. Disney is among the biggest spenders on sports rights — one of the reasons for the success of ESPN over the decades — but will face increasing trouble if it does not keep an eye on costs, particularly as customers to might have once automatically subscribed to ESPN via cable or satellite seek other method of getting their sports fix.
Steele, known for stints on “SportsCenter” as well as “NBA Countdown,” has been offering unvarnished commentary for years. She has offered social-media commentary on an NFL player protesting during “The Star-Spangled Banner,” for example. She told Variety in 2017 she tries to ignore furor on places like Twitter. “The more people have been vocal about me, the stronger I’ve gotten and the easier it’s gotten for me to not really pay attention and not really care,” she said in an interview. She won’t let social-media furor distract her from her job or family. “I don’t have enough hours in the week for those two things.”
Michael Bivins Says Bobby Brown Should Not Have Been Booted from New Edition
*According to Michael Bivins, Bobby Brown should never have been voted out of New Edition.
“We did have a vote, and even the way that vote is – is stories behind that vote and…The vote should’ve never happened,” said Biven recently appeared on the “My Expert Opinion Show,” Ice Cream Convos reports.
“It ain’t even worth a conversation,” he added.
Bivins felt Bobby was too young to be voted out at the time.
Brown’s behavior was reportedly the reason for his expulsion from the group in 1985.
Elsewhere in the interview, Bivens recalled a fight he and Bobby had early in their careers because Bobby laughed at him after a car ran over his foot.
Per Ice Cream Convos, Bivens explained:
It was in L.A. in Glendale… It was when the car ran over my foot for real. We got to the hotel and boop, boop, boop, boop… And in the parking lot, we get in the lobby…
A car ran over my foot, and he laughed… And I, you know, ‘F**k you!’… And I’m cursing, and we getting in, and I’m elbowing.
Cause all five of us would sit in the back seat. So, as soon as the door opened, bah, bah, bah!… We in the parking lot and then we get in the lobby, I’m trying to throw the candy machine on him, but that motherf**ker is too heavy.
And then we go up in the room… We go up in the room, and I’m trying to pick up a 50-pound dumbbell…. You know the “Telephone Man” video?… Y’all ever seen that?…
Big dude, Carlil, he from Newark, and, um, he punches me, boom! Knocks me into the wall, baw! I’m hitting the door. I go down, Bob’s laughing again.
So, he laughing… Me and my Leo sh*t, I’m getting mad… So, Carlil use to cut our hair, I grab the scissors, I’m trying to get at him… Carlil punch me again, boom!
…And I feel out, and they sat me.
They put me in this place, The Oakwood, for two f***ing weeks, by myself.
And I’m just sitting in this room, and they just, you know, ‘Yo, we need to kick Mike out, this ***** is crazy,’ you know, calling my mom… no, this real talk, two weeks, two weeks I’m by myself, right?….
And they’re having their conversation. I’m having no contact with these ******, and then one day I get the call and they like, ‘You can come back around.’
And I go in the studio, and it’s “The Telephone Man” song. Ray Parker never gave up my talking spot, you know, and he went in, he said, ‘Mike, I got a part for you.’
But, I ain’t seen my ****** in two weeks so, I’m here, they here, I guess they was waiting for me to say I’m sorry, they not saying nothing to me, but they were receptive.
And I found out, um, Bob, um, told the managers, ’Nah, don’t kick Mike out. I said I know he wild out and tried to get at me, but he didn’t get at me.’
So he stood ground for me while I didn’t for him.
And there you have it.
Billy Porter Calls Out Anna Wintour Over Harry Styles’ 2020 Vogue Cover
Billy Porter is not too happy that Harry Styles snagged a cover of Vogue in 2020.
During a conversation with The Telegraph, Porter elaborated on his perception that Styles secured the inaugural male cover due to him being white and heterosexual.
“It doesn’t feel good to me. You’re using my community —or your people are using my community — to elevate you. You haven’t had to sacrifice anything,” he said.
Porter also called out Anna Wintour, the editor-in-chief, for seeking his advice but ultimately choosing Styles to cover the magazine.
“That b*tch said to me at the end, ‘How can we do better?’ And I was so taken off guard that I didn’t say what I should have said,” Porter added.
Additionally, Porter shared that he had told Wintour to “use your power as Vogue to uplift the voices of the leaders of this de-gendering of fashion movement … Six months later, Harry Styles is the first man on the cover.”
Porter has previously expressed his disapproval of Styles’ Vogue cover, clarifying that his rebuttals were not aimed at the artist on a personal level.
“I’m not dragging Harry Styles, but he is the one you’re going to try and use to represent this new conversation? He doesn’t care. He’s just doing it because it’s the thing to do,” he said. “This is politics for me. This is my life. I had to fight my entire life to get to the place where I could wear a dress to the Oscars and not be gunned down. All he has to do is be white and straight.”

Ciara Bares Growing Baby Bump In Funky Maternity Photos
Ciara has bared her growing baby bump in new pictures. A few days after announcing that she is pregnant with her fourth child, the "How We Roll" songstress treated her fans to snaps from a funky-themed maternity photoshoot.
On Monday, August 14, the 37-year-old singer made use of Instagram to share a series of pictures and a video from the photo session. In the snaps, she could be seen showing off her pregnant belly in a long-sleeved knitted crop top that came with checkered patterns in pink and light orange colors. She also donned a pair of long blue baggy jeans that she wore low-waisted.
To complete the chic look, the "Level Up" singer added a number of rings, a pair of high brown leather boots with stud embellishments on it as well as several layers of sparkling silver and gold necklaces. For the hairdo, she styled her hair into sleek two high ponytails with black scrunchies.
One of the pictures captured Ciara striking a pose with a red telephone. Another photo saw her placing both of her hands on her baby bump as she stuck out her tongue. Meanwhile, a different snap displayed how her pregnant belly looked from the side.
Her new maternity photos quickly garnered positive responses. In the comments section, her pal and actress La La Anthony could not help but gush over the singer by writing, "Love," and adding a slew of smiling face with heart eyes emojis. Similarly, another Instagram user exclaimed, "Hold on now MOTHA. Oh you are such a beautiful and fun Mother!!!! Always enjoy the pregnancy energy."
Ciara revealed that she is pregnant with her fourth child, her third with husband Russell Wilson, on her Instagram page. She uploaded a video of her showing off her baby bump on August 8.

Missy Elliott penned a heartfelt tribute to Magoo, who passed away at the age of 50 this past weekend.
On Monday (Aug. 14), the hip hop legend took to Instagram to share a clip from her “Beep Me 911” music video, that featured Magoo and 702, from her 1997 debut album, Supa Dupa Fly. In the caption, she reflected on the memories she has with her longtime collaborator. “These are the [kinds] of [posts] I don’t wish on [anyone],” Missy began. “At [first] I was in shock [and] the more I sit, the reality kicks in so many emotions.
Missy also revealed that Magoo was the one who gave her the iconic “Misdemeanor” nickname. “You supported me from day [one] [and] you said, ‘I’m going to call you Misdemeanor because it’s a crime to have that many talents.’ So [for] those who don’t know, Magoo gave me the name Misdemeanor when we did this song ‘Beep Me 911’ [and] I asked Magoo to get on it. I played this verse over and over, [and] posting this is just heartbreaking. I am so lost for words,” she added. You can check out the social media post below.
As previously reported, the cause of Magoo’s death has yet to be released. The Virginia star is known to be part of the duo Timbaland & Magoo. His biggest single, “Up Jumps da Boogie,” peaked at No. 12 on Billboard‘s Hot 100 chart and No. 4 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
