#RHOA: Kenya Moore to join ‘Dancing With The Stars’!
The 50-year-old Housewife favorite is reportedly joining the show’s 30th season.
Kenya Moore is bringing her famous twirl to the Dancing With The Stars stage. TMZ reports that the former Miss USA and current Real Housewives of Atlanta star has been tapped as a contestant on the popular dance competition show for the upcoming 30th season.
Moore joins a long list of Housewives from various franchises to take a stab at ballroom dance on the small screen. Fellow ATLiens including Kim Zolciak-Biermann, Nene Leakes, and Kim Fields competed on separate seasons.
Beverly Hills stars Lisa Vanderpump, Lisa Rinna, and Erika Jayne have also competed on the show.
DWTS has not revealed its full cast for the season yet as of yet; however 18-year-old Team USA medalist Suni Lee is joining, as well as singer JoJo Siwa, who will reportedly be partnered with a dancer of the same gender, making it a show first.
Moore has been a breakout Housewife since joining the cast in its fifth season. She took a year off to focus on her pregnancy before rejoining in Season 12.
The last few seasons have followed her lifelong dream of becoming a wife and a mother. With reports surfacing that she finally filed paperwork to end her four-year marriage to Marc Daly, Moore is clearly looking for a fresh start.
Outside of Bravo, Moore has also participated in other reality shows, including Celebrity Apprentice where she went toe to toe with Vivica A. Fox. She’s also featured in the upcoming Bravo special Housewives All-Stars.
Moore hasn’t shown off much of her dance moves but she has done some music. She released a dance single, “Gone With the Wind Fabulous,” in 2013 where she did some voguing throughout a performance on Watch What Happens Live. The song was a spoof of the popular phrase she told her longtime nemesis, Porsha Williams, with an accompanying music video spoofing some of Moore’s shadiest moments on the show.
Moore also has several acting credits under her belt, including roles on sitcoms like Martin, In the House — and movies including Waiting to Exhale and Trois.
She hasn’t made any official statements about the news of her joining Dancing With The Stars being leaked to the press as of yet. Siwa, however, has done so on Twitter.
“I am so excited to be apart of this year’s Dancing with the Stars Season 30 and to be dancing with a girl,” she said. “I think it’s so cool. It’s going to be the best ever. I can’t wait to just dance every single week, I can’t wait to meet my partner. Oh my gosh, there’s so many things I’m so excited for!”
Moore jokingly has referred to herself as “Keyonce’” in the past, a nod to Beyoncé, and has showcased her own rendition of the “Single Ladies” routine.

We’ve lost another member of the R&B community with the recent passing of singer Sam Salter last week at age 46.
Salter rose to prominence after signing with La Face Records in the late 90’s and releasing his debut album “It’s On Tonight”. The album featured his signature singles “After 12, Before 6” and “There You Are”.
His sophomore album “Little Black Book” was to release a few years later in 2000, but was eventually shelved by the label. Salter gained the unfortunate notoriety of having a few of his songs from that album end up being hits for other artists. “Incomplete” landed with Sisqo (click here to hear Sam’s version), and “Color of my Love” was eventually released by Boyz II Men.
Although Salter did not release another album after his debut, he was very active as a songwriter. His talent writing songs allowed him to get placements with 98 Degrees, Kandi Burress, Jesse Powell, Tyrese, Charlie Wilson, B2K, El DeBarge and many more.
He also continued to release many new singles over the years as an independent artist following his debut.

But DJ Envy wasn’t as gentle and decided to directly address people such as Kanye West’s manager Bu Thiam and Pusha T who have to regularly deal with Kanye and his often dramatic antics.
“Kanye is a clown,” DJ Envy said matter-of-factly. “He is a clown and a circus. He is a clown and circus, and I’m ashamed of the people around him — Bu, Free, Pusha, Monopoly … he is a clown.
“And if you don’t get your guy together — like Charlamagne said seven years ago, when he came up here and said, ‘The people around you don’t love you.’ And Kanye, the people around you don’t love you. You are a clown.”

The Donda rollout was unsurprisingly a mess, which is likely what Envy was referring to when he made his comments. The project was originally promised on July 23, then August 6 and finally, August 27 — but it never materialized.

That opened the door for Jones, who got to spend those four days taking first-team reps and showing the coaching staff how much he's progressed over the spring and summer. In his three preseason games, Jones completed 36 of 52 passes for 388 yards and one touchdown.
Jones looked good enough that head coach Bill Belichick said that he was considering a quarterback platoon between Newton and Jones. But it appears that Belichick was impressed enough by Jones to let Newton go and move forward with a rookie QB.
According to the Globe, Newton's one-year contract with the Pats had a maximum value of $13.5 million, but only $3.5 million was guaranteed.
Mike Richards Fired as Executive Producer of ‘Jeopardy!’ and ‘Wheel of Fortune’!

“We had hoped that when Mike stepped down from the host position at ‘Jeopardy!’ it would have minimized the disruption and internal difficulties we have all experienced these last few weeks,” Prete said in her note. “That clearly has not happened.”
Richards gave up the job as host after ugly statements that he had made on an eight-year-old podcast series resurface, and that followed concerns over the host selection process — with whispers that Richards, as host, was able to calibrate the search to replace Trebek in his favor. Richards took over as executive producer on both “Wheel of Fortune” and “Jeopardy!” in 2020, after the exit of longtime executive producer Harry Friedman, who announced in August 2019 that he would be stepping down when his contract expired. Friedman had run “Wheel of Fortune” since 1995 and “Jeopardy!” since 1997.
The succession plan came into view in 2019, when Richards stepped down from his roles as executive producer of both “The Price Is Right” and “Let’s Make a Deal” and signing a multi-year overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. Besides being a producer, Richards has hosted several shows over the years including “Beauty and the Geek,” “Divided” and “The Pyramid.”
Richards took over during “Jeopardy!” during a difficult period for the show, given Trebek’s illness and death, as well as the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on producing a studio-based show. He helped oversee the initial process in replacing Trebek, but made a point to step down as part of the process after throwing his hat in the ring for the job.

‘The View’ To Have Conservative Guest Hosts After Meghan McCain’s Exit!
Meghan McCain may have left “The View” in July, but the show is in no rush to find a permanent replacement.
Instead, the ABC talk show will have a rotating table of temporary female conservative guest hosts when it returns to the air for its 25th season.
Former Utah Rep. Mia Love will join stars Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Sunny Hostin and Sara Haines when the show resumes on Sept. 7.
The episode will mark the first time that the hosts will be in the studio since the pandemic started in March 2020.
Other figures who are set to come on the show include Condoleezza Rice, Gretchen Carlson, Eboni K. Williams, Mary Katharine Ham, Carly Fiorina, Alyssa Farah, Cameran Eubanks and S.E. Cupp.
Executive producer Brian Teta shed some light on the series’ 25 seasons: “Twenty-five years is such an incredible milestone,” he told the Wrap. “We have so much planned to honor this amazing platform that Barbara Walters created. I can’t think of a better way to kick off that celebration than by welcoming the co-hosts back to the iconic ‘View’ table and to have them in front of a live studio audience again.”
He continued, “We have some truly exciting plans to celebrate this anniversary all season long. We’ll be inviting back all of our legendary lineup of former ‘View’ co-hosts to guest as well as taking a little time to find our next permanent co-host to join the panel.”
McCain’s last episode aired on Aug. 6 after she appeared on the show for four seasons. The 36-year-old announced on July 1 that she planned to depart her hosting gig because she wanted to move her family to Washington DC.
“So I am just going to rip the Band-Aid off. I am here to tell all of you, my wonderful co-hosts and the viewers at home, that this is going to be my last season here at ‘The View,’” McCain said at the time. She then explained that her husband, Ben Domenech, and their daughter, Liberty, had been living in the nation’s capital during much of the pandemic. “The View” is based in New York City.
“We have this incredible life here … and I think, as any new mom knows, when I think about where I want Liberty to have her first steps, her first words, I just have this really wonderful life here that ultimately I didn’t want to leave,” she said.
First Male Accuser Testifies In R. Kelly Trial!
On Monday (Aug. 30), the racketeering trial of disgraced R&B star R. Kelly resumed in Brooklyn and the first male accuser took the stand to testify about the singer.
The man, who testified under the fictitious name Louis, told the jury that he was only 17 years old and an aspiring hip hop artist when he met Kelly. He said the “I Believe I Can Fly” singer began making sexual advances toward him and promised to advance his career if he engaged in sexual acts with him.
Louis then said Kelly asked him what he “was willing to do” to help his musical career and brought him to his garage to perform a sexual act on him.

“He just told me we had to keep it between me and him,” Louis told jurors, adding that Kelly told him, “‘We’re family now. We’re brothers.’”
As they continued to meet, Louis said Kelly told him to refer to him as “Daddy” and he would also record their sexual encounters. The aspiring hip hop artist said that he kept seeing the Chicago singer because he “really wanted to make it.” Louis said that he began bringing some of his friends to Kelly’s parties, but the singer asked him to “keep bringing” back one of his close friends, who was 16 years old.
The friend later received Kelly’s phone number and allegedly began having sex with the singer too. During one occasion, Kelly ordered the two friends to “touch each other” sexually, but Louis said they refused.

During another time, Louis testified that he met Kelly at his Illinois home. The singer’s garage was set up as a workout area. Kelly allegedly “snapped his fingers two times” and a naked “young lady” crept out from under a boxing ring that was in the garage. Kelly ordered her to perform a sexual act on himself and then on Louis.
“It was just a weird situation,” Louis said. “It was uncomfortable.”
According to The New York Times, Louis recently pleaded guilty to attempted bribery for offering money to a female witness if she agreed to stop cooperating with the government against Kelly. He testified in exchange for the government to notify the judge on the case about his cooperation.
HGTV Star Carmeon Hamilton’s Husband Dies In Motorcycle Crash: 'Extraordinary Loss'!
Carmeon Hamilton is mourning the "extraordinary loss" of her husband, Marcus Hamilton.
The Design Star: Next Gen winner, 35, shared on social media that her husband of nearly a decade died Saturday from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident the day before.
"It is with deep sorrow and an eternally broken heart that I tell you that the love of my life, Marcus Hamilton, has passed away," the HGTV host wrote on social media. "I was alerted by [the Memphis Police Department] late last night that Marcus succumbed to his injuries from a motorcycle accident yesterday afternoon."
The interior designer went on to say that while she is "no stranger to loss," Marcus's death "brings something beyond pain. Something I can’t describe. I’m now missing a major part of myself and that void seems to grow more and more every second."
Carmeon said she "can’t bring myself to figure out Davin's and my next step," referring to their son, who recently started seventh grade, "because there shouldn’t be a need for one. But in the midst of this immense pain came a wave of support from the community of people that we’ve worked so hard to build. They are the only reason I have the strength and ability to put these words in writing."
She thanked her followers for "being one of the best parts of our love story and loudly encouraging us to be the passionately flawed humans we were, living a life well lived. I only ask for grace and privacy as my family and I navigate this extraordinary loss."
Carmeon has long shared the ups and downs of their long love story in her blog and on social media. They dated for 15 years — and Sept. 10 would have their 10th wedding anniversary.
In May, she said meeting Marcus was "the absolute best thing that’s ever happened to me," and said she planned to "marry him all over again in a couple months," presumably in a vow renewal timed to their milestone anniversary.
Carmeon was named the winner of Design Star: Next Gen, inspired by HGTV Design Star, in March. She won $50,000 — and her own show on the network.
Kimora Lee Simmons Seemingly Admits to Using Bonds to Bail Out Husband After Russell Simmons Sues Her for Fraud!
Former fashion designer Kimora Lee Simmons maintains that her ex-husband’s fraud allegations against her are just that, fraud.
In May 2021, veteran music executive Russell Simmons filed a lawsuit against Kimora and her husband, Tim Leissner, for allegedly transferring and using Russell’s shares from Celsius’s energy drink company as collateral for Leissner’s bond in his court case. In 2018, the former Goldman Sachs managing director pleaded guilty to charges related to a $2.7 billion money-laundering scheme out of Malaysia. The Def Jam co-founder says he tried to handle the issue privately. However, says Kimora refused to communicate with the businessman. Now Russell wants to be reimbursed with interest restitution.
However, in newly filed documents obtained by Radar Online, Kimora’s attorney stated, “at the time Defendants used the Celsius shares for purposes of the bond in connection with the federal case, Lee understood and believed that Defendants were authorized to use the shares for the bond.” Furthermore, the Baby Phat founder claims Russell resigned from the board of Nu Horizons well before the transfer was initiated. He also sold off his interest in the company and other assets to another company called Keyway Pride LTD for $14.25 million.
Kimora states Russell has no proof she or her husband stole from him. She argued that the shares were not sold but are being temporarily held by the government in exchange for her husband’s bond and will be returned. She now wants the suit against her thrown out.
Kimora initially reacted to news of the lawsuit by calling it an “extortion attempt” and a “desperate PR ploy.” Her reps told the outlet, “This is an ill-advised attempt by Russell to use the legal system to access funds he is in no way entitled to, and which his own legal team confirms Russell did not pay for. Russell’s continued aggressive behavior not only blatantly distorts the facts but is simply a desperate PR ploy ignoring the years of mental and emotional anguish, gaslighting, and ongoing harassment he has inflicted on Kimora.”
Russell and Kimora met in November 1992. They married six years later in December 1998 on the island of Saint Barthélemy but called it quits by March 2006. They share two daughters, 21-year-old Ming Lee and 19-year-old Aoki Lee Simmons, and had remained close friends and business partners throughout the years.

‘Candyman’ director Nia DaCosta made history as the first Black female filmmaker to have a No. 1 hit at the box office.
The film opened up at #1 with $22.3 million at the box office after it was expected to make $15 million in sales. According to Variety, ‘Candyman was solely released in theatres after Da Costa confirmed on Twitter that the film needs to be seen in theatres.
“Not just for the spectacle but because the film is about community and stories — how they shape each other, how they shape us. It’s about the collective experience of trauma and joy, suffering and triumph, and the stories we tell around it.”
‘Candyman’ is reportedly a sequel to the 1992 film where it was produced and written by Jordan Peele and stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Tayona Paris, Colman Domingo, Vanessa Williams, Virginia Madsen, and Tony Todd. It follows Mateen’s character after he moves into the Cabrini-Green neighborhood with his girlfriend.
DaCosta also made history as the second female director with the highest opening weekend gross. Ava DuVernay’s “A Wrinkle In Time” which opened at $33 million in the box office and grossed $100 million in 2016 was the first.
She will be the first Black woman and the youngest to direct a Marvel film, “The Marvels”, in 2022.\

Earlier in the day, Drake revealed the Damien Hirst-designed cover art for his long-awaited album featuring 12 pregnant woman emojis in various skin tones and shirt colors.
Lil Nas X decided to have some fun with it. The notorious troll and meme mastermind Photoshopped his own version of the CLB cover featuring 12 pregnant men instead of women. He also took the opportunity to promote his upcoming debut album Montero.

‘Nancy Drew’ Spinoff ‘Tom Swift’ Gets Series Order at The CW!
The CW is adding one more new series for the 2021-22 season, ordering the “Nancy Drew” spinoff “Tom Swift” to series.
Tian Richards debuted as the character during the end of “Nancy Drew’s” second season.
Here is the logline for the spinoff:
“Tom Swift” follows the serialized adventures of its titular Black, gay, billionaire inventor (Tian Richards, “Burden”) who is thrust into a world of sci-fi conspiracy and unexplained phenomena after the shocking disappearance of his father. Tom takes to the road on a quest to unravel the truth, leaving behind the comforts of his usual moneyed lifestyle, all while fighting to stay one step ahead of an Illuminati-scale group hell-bent on stopping him. Tom’s missions will require his genius and flair for innovation guided by love, romance, friendship and the mysteries of the universe yet-unsolved.
“Nancy Drew” showrunner Melinda Hsu Taylor and co-creator Noga Landau co-created the new spinoff with “Empire” alum Cameron Johnson. “Nancy Drew” executive producers Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will also executive produce the CBS Television Studios-produced spinoff alongside Lis Rowinski of their Fake Empire banner.
The “Nancy Drew” and “Tom Swift” book series are both published by Stratemeyer Syndicate, which also publishes the “Hardy Boys” and “Bobbsey Twins” books. The new spinoff marks an attempt to build a franchise out of “Nancy Drew” similar to the network’s various “Vampire Diaries” spinoffs or its suite of DC superhero series.

For the sickos — sorry, for the enthusiasts — in the latter category, we can reveal that a pair of the NBA legend’s undies are going up for sale by Leland’s auctioneers.
An auction insider tells us that the shorts were “regularly” worn by Jordan and show signs of “heavy use.” But we’ll be damned if we’re going to ask what that means so if you want to know you’re going to have to find out yourself. Their number is (732) 290-8000. God speed.
The blurb also says that this item is “about as close to greatness as one can get,” which seems fair enough but only if what you mean by “greatness” is MJ’s sweaty Chicago Bulls.

The reserve price is $500 which, we’re just going to go ahead and note for no particular reason, is also about the cost of a couple of decent therapy sessions. Spend wisely.
The shorts are part of a sale of Jordan’s belongings that ended up in the hands of his one-time bodyguard, John Michael Wozniak (who was memorably seen beating Jordan in a game of coin-toss in the Bulls doc, “The Last Dance”). Other items in the sale include coats, suits, ties and golf clubs that once belonged to the GOAT.
Although how Wozniak ended up with a pair of Jordan’s heavily used boxer shorts is just one of many questions about this situation we choose not to dwell on.

IG Model Miss Mercedes Morr Killed In Murder-Suicide!
Social media users are mourning the death of popular Instagram model Miss Mercedes Morr, who was found dead in her apartment over the weekend.
On Sunday, the beloved Houston influencer was found deceased during a welfare check at her home at the Cortland Apartments at approximately 4:30 p.m. The body of 34-year-old Kevin Alexander Accorto was also located in the apartment. Investigators say that Accorto murdered the model, whose real name is Jenae Gagnier, before taking his own life.
The Fort Bend County Medical Examiner concluded that Accorto strangled Gagnier to death before killing himself with “multiple sharp force trauma.” The relationship between the two is unclear and what could have prompted him to commit such a heinous act.
The 33-year-old model was well known on social media, with 2.6 million followers on Instagram. Condolences continue to pour in under her last post, which she shared a week ago.
Before the news officially broke that the model was the victim of a murder-suicide, several rumors began to swirl about the circumstances of her death on social media. Some people stated that she had died from complications stemming from COVID-19, with others claimed that Miss Mercedes Morr was the victim of a robbery.
