After much anticipation, Nipsey Hussle and JAY-Z’s collaboration “What It Feels Like” has arrived as part of the Judas and the Black Messiah soundtrack.

The star shared a video on Twitter following the recent development. "I was at home just the other day by myself and I began to cry. "I also feel compelled to respond, in part, because everyone involved deserves better and most importantly, because this is a larger conversation that I wholeheartedly want to be part of and grow from." Ashley Judd Nearly Loses Leg In “Harrowing” Congo Rainforest Accident!

On Friday, actress Ashley Judd revealed that she was involved in a “catastrophic accident” in the Congo rainforest and almost lost her leg.

The humanitarian spoke from an ICU bed on an Instagram Live video with New York Times columnist Nicholas Kristof on the “harrowing” experience, which left her with a shattered leg in four places and nerve damage, the Hollywood Reporter reported.

“I was doing what I always do, up at 4:30 in the morning with two of our trackers who are just these world-class, brilliant, brilliant men, walking in the dark, and my headlamp had new batteries, but it was a little faint, it wasn’t working quite properly — I’ve come down half-dome in Yosemite under a full moon, I can walk in partial light, but accidents happen — and there was a fallen tree on the path which I didn’t see, and I had a very powerful stride going, and I just fell over this tree. As I was breaking my leg, I knew it was being broken, I cried out to Maude who was one of the researchers working with me,” said Judd.

The actress was in the Congo on a research project on endangered bonobos—ape-like animals that she described as “egalitarian, matriarchal, peaceful.”

“What was next was an incredibly harrowing 55 hours,” Judd continued, explaining that for the first five hours of the ordeal, she laid on the forest floor with her “badly misshapen leg,” biting on a stick because of the pain and “howling like a wild animal.” She said her teeth were chattering, and she had broken out in a cold sweat.

There was no ambulance service, and she had to be transported to a South African trauma unit via motorbike. Judd described holding together the top part of her shattered tibia.

“We did that for six hours,” she recalled. “I was at the edge of my very edge.”

Judd mentioned her privilege during the interview, saying that she was able to get on an operating table before it was too late because of her disaster insurance. A privilege Congolese people don’t always have.

Judd spoke on her interview with Kristof on her own Instagram page, shedding light on “what it means to be Congolese in extreme poverty with no access to health care, any medication for pain, any type of service, or choices.”

Wendy Williams' Casting Call For New Boyfriend!

Wendy Williams has put out a casting call for a new man. The 56-year-old broadcaster is looking for a new man that can "handle" her in a special casting call, with her team insisting it isn't a "joke" and suggesting the eligible bachelor should be US-based between 40 and 65.

An email from Fox producers, as obtained by the New York Post's Page Six column, reads: "Wendy Williams IS BACK ON THE MARKET! We are looking for fun men that can handle Wendy. We are casting a WIDE net. (sic)"

The 'Wendy Williams Show' host previously revealed she wants her next boyfriend to be out of the spotlight unlike her ex.

She shared: "I'm 56 now. I'm a mom, I'm not a single woman running around town with [rappers and DJs] like Eric B anymore. Those days are over. My next boyfriend, hopefully husband he'll turn into, I don't want him to be in this business. He's got to appreciate my humour and have a sense of humour for the business that I'm in, and not try to stop me. But he's also got to be very, very comfortable in the man that he is. And he's got to be 45 years or older."

Wendy split from husband Kevin Hunter in 2019 after over 20 years of marriage but she insisted she doesn't "regret" anything about her relationship with him because it has helped make her who she is today.

Speaking about her former romance, she said: "The life that I'm living right now is my best life, and I have no guilt about saying that. I don't regret meeting Kevin, I don't regret falling in love, I don't regret staying with him for all 25 years, 21 of them married. I like who I am, so I have no regrets."

Donald Glover, Phoebe Waller-Bridge To Star In ‘Mr. And Mrs. Smith’ Remake!

Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Donald Glover are set to star in a remake of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” the 2005 movie starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt.

The project with New Regency and Amazon Studios with collaboration from writer Francesca Sloane will hit Amazon Prime Video in 2022, according to Glover.

The project was announced on Instagram — in pandemic fashion, quite literally. Waller-Bridge, 35, wore pajamas to film herself striking a pose in a doorway — the same leg lift Jolie, 45, did for the film’s movie poster and promotional materials. Glover, 37, filmed a bit of himself flossing — the dance, not the dental routine — to celebrate.

The videos, which originated in Glover’s Instagram Stories, were also reposted by Jennifer Salke, the head of Amazon Studios.

“Mr + Mrs Smith. Donald Glover x Phoebe Waller-Bridge. Co-created with Francesca Sloane. New Regency + Amazon Studios,” Glover wrote. “Amazon Prime Video 2022.”

This marks the second time Glover, whose musical stage name is Childish Gambino, and Waller-Bridge will star in a film together. The duo previously co-starred in 2018’s “Solo: A Star Wars Story,” with Glover as a young Lando Calrissian and Waller-Bridge as the voice of L3-37.

“Mr. and Mrs. Smith” starring Jolie and Pitt, which saw the real-life couple, who met and fell in love on set, as secret assassins from competing agencies unknowingly out to get one another, was a box office smash making nearly $500 million worldwide. Pitt and Jolie filed for divorce in 2016.

Will Morris Chestnut Have A New Love Interest In The New 'Best Man' Tv Series?

Morris Chestnut is choosing his words very carefully, but it's clear his 'Best Man' character will be moving on romantically in the new TV series based on the hit movies.

The 'Best Man' star tells us... it's been a long time since fans saw his character, Lance Sullivan, go through an emotional roller coaster following his wife Mia's (Monica Calhoun) death from cancer.

Morris says the new series -- "The Best Man: The Final Chapters" -- will offer Lance some closure, and possibly a new woman in his life. MC knows how much fans loved Lance and Mia as a couple ... so he stresses, "There will never be anyone that could replace Mia."

The franchise's loyal followers never got to see Morris properly mourn Mia's death in the sequel 'Best Man Holiday' -- but that's about to change. The Peacock streaming service has ordered 10 episodes for a limited series featuring the entire original cast -- Melissa De Sousa, Taye Diggs, Regina Hall, Terrence Howard, Sanaa Lathan, Nia Long and Harold Perrineau.

The creators are eyeing a September premiere. Malcolm D. Lee, who wrote and directed the 1999 and 2013 films, will write and produce with Dayna Lynne North ... best known for writing/producing HBO's hit "Insecure.

One more thing about the new series ... Morris says it will likely include some of the real-life events we're all going through right now.

That's fine. Just don't forget Mia, Lance!!!

Dave Chappelle Announces 'Chappelle's Show' Is Returning to Netflix in New Clip!

Chappelle’s Show is coming back on Netflix with the blessing of its creator on Feb. 12.

Dave Chappelle made the announcement at the end of a clip from a performance he did at Stubb’s Bar-B-Q in Austin, Texas and thanked Netflix head Ted Sarandos for removing the show at his request back in November. HBO Max soon followed suit and pulled the popular comedy series.

In the new ten minute clip, which is titled “Redemption Song,” Chappelle recapped his issues with Comedy Central said that he was able to renegotiate his deal with the channel’s owner, ViacomCBS, after calling for a boycott of the series. The comedian also thanked ViacomCBS’ Chris McCarthy for “making the past right.”

“I never asked Comedy central for anything. If you remember I said ‘I’m going to my real boss’ and I came to you because I know where my power lies,” Chappelle said. “I asked you to stop watching the show and thank God almighty for you, you did. You made that show worthless because without your eyes it’s nothing. And when you stopped watching it, they called me. And I got my name back and I got my license back and I got my show back and they paid me millions of dollars. Thank you very much.”

Chappelle closed out the clip by saying, “Finally after all of these years I can finally say to Comedy Central, ‘it’s been a pleasure doing business with you.’”

Chappelle previously pointed out that he received no compensation when the series was streamed due to an agreement he signed with ViacomCBS in an 18-minute-long clip he posted to Instagram in late November of 2020. That will no longer be the case.

“They (ViacomCBS) didn’t have to pay me because I signed the contract,” Chappelle said back in Nov. “But is that right? I found out that these people were streaming my work and they never had to ask me or they never have to tell me. Perfectly legal ‘cause I signed the contract. But is that right?”

Deputy Press Secretary Suspended For Threatening Reporter Over Story About Him!

White House deputy press secretary TJ Ducklo was placed on a one-week suspension after threatening a reporter who was working on a story about his romantic involvement with another reporter.

According to CNN, during a press briefing, White House press secretary Jen Psaki said the suspension was “an important step to send the message that we don’t find this acceptable.”

Ducklo has since apologized to the reporter—Politico’s Tara Palmeri. Following his suspension, he is no longer allowed to work with reporters from the news outlet.

On Tuesday, Palmeri reported that the deputy had a romantic relationship with Alexi McCammond, a reporter from Axios. McCammond confirmed their relationship in November and was “taken off the Biden beat.”

However, Palmeri addressed McCammond’s beats that featured Vice President Kamala Harris and pointed out that she gave glowing remarks on Biden following his inauguration, CNN reported.

Vanity Fair published its own story on the matter Friday, stating Ducklo threatened Palmeri for her piece and said he would “destroy her” if she published it. The outlet also said he made misogynistic comments to Palmeri and accused him of attacking her personal life and calling her “jealous” over his relationship with McCammond.

Psaki said that Ducklo has expressed “profound regret” in a note sent to Palmeri along with his apology.

“Last night on the phone with you I lost my temper in a way that was unprofessional, and I apologize for that. I should have done a better job at keeping my emotions in check during our conversation. It won’t happen again,” the note read.

Psaki said the White House has also apologized to politico for Ducklo’s behavior and said that “this will never happen again.”

Politico reporters were not pleased with Psaki’s response to the incident, two staffers told the news outlet.

“It feels like she is punishing us more than him,” one of the staffers said.

Politico Editor-in-Chief Matt Kaminski and Editor Carrie Budoff Brown also made a statement.

“No journalist at Politico —or any other publication or network — should ever be subjected to such unfounded personal attacks while doing their job,” they said. “Politico reporters and editors are committed to forging a professional and transparent relationship with public office holders and their staff and expect the same in return.”
