#RHOA: Nene Leakes Alludes To Mistreatment From Bravo Buy the TEA is THE JIGS UP, SHE'S OUT!
NeNe Leakes of “The Real Housewives of Atlanta” has been tweeting several cryptic messages alluding to mistreatment by Bravo.
She posted videos of infamous fights from the Atlanta show, plus the Beverly Hills and New Jersey versions.
One video was accompanied by headlines of former series stars Kim Zolciak-Biermann and Lisa Vanderpump getting Bravo spinoffs. “No Equality,” she wrote. “If I have to stand alone. I will!”
Insiders dished that Leakes is in talks with the network to return for Season 13 amid reports she’s gotten the boot — but that contract negotiations apparently aren’t going in her favor. According to Tamera Tattles here’s the TEA! On Friday, Bravo offered her a $100,000 development deal as a parting gift. The deal states she would serve as an “executive producer.” If anything comes of this deal and it’ll be produced by a production company of Bravo’s choosing. This makes absolutely no sense to me. Nene was set to make around $123,000 PER EPISODE this season, plus a signing bonus. She said no. Why would she take this offer? Bravo seems to offering it as sort of a honorary title. There is literally no show for her to “produce.”
Nothing is promised. It is highly unlikely that Bravo will actually order any spin-offs or specials for Nene Leakes. Most likely they’ll give her the money and she’ll ride out her two year options left on her contract (not getting paid for what they dictate though.) But, she could say she is still under contract and has “jobs.” They are trying to calm her down as she transitions over to E! She has already been told that E! isn’t going to pay Nene Leakes Bravo money. This to me seems like a rather pointless development. But that is latest conversation. And it is why she is acting out again on Instagram. She is not getting her way.

Adele continues to showcase her recent weight loss in a new social media post praising fellow songstress Beyoncé and her latest visual album, “Black Is King.”
Seen wearing the same Marine Serre look as Bey, the fresh-faced, curly-haired diva points to her television while acknowledging the “Queen” in her Saturday afternoon Instagram post, writing “Thank you Queen for always making us all feel so loved through your art ♥️♥️.”
She was first seen post-weight loss transformation at Drake’s birthday party last October. She then attended a Christmas party, hung out on a beach in Anguilla in January and most recently modeled her 2016 Chloé dress from Glastonbury, highlighting just how much she’s lost — reportedly 98 lbs — over the last four years.
Pete Geracimo, a personal trainer who worked with Adele for four years between 2012 and 2016, called for less judgment of the newly-lithe mom-of-one on his Instagram page, addressing those who may have felt “betrayed” by her fitness goals.
“My hope is that people appreciate the hard work that Adele has done to improve herself for the benefit to her and her family only,” he wrote. “She did not lose weight to make others feel bad about themselves.”

As Raekwon’s seminal solo album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx turns 25 on Saturday (August 1), The Chef is celebrating the milestone with a big announcement. While speaking to TIDAL’s Elliott Wilson, the Wu-Tang Clan veteran revealed a third installment of the celebrated series is on its way.
“Twenty-five years later, right?” he said. “Listen, I feel like Al Green right now, nigga. It’s time we close that trilogy out.”
Elliott replied, “Wooo! Cuban Linx 3?” to which Rae said, “Yeah, it’s time to close that trilogy. I was holding all night. I was holding all night back to tell you that. Cuban Linx 3, baby. The trilogy. It’s over after that. It’s over.
During a recent interview with HipHopDX, Raekwon equated the 1995 rap masterpiece to the iconic mobster film The Godfather.
“All of the members in the Wu could relate to it,” Rae said. “So that was important though. That was important just to sit down and make a cinematic album, not so much of an album that would give off a happy-go-lucky vibe or you might feel like you want to dance and shit. And some people may be able to dance to it, but this album was pretty much The Godfather vibe of Hip Hop to me and it felt good.
“It felt good to have my boy next to me, Ghostface, who basically comes from the same lifestyle as I come from. And we were able to sit down and concoct an idea that we both were able to respect and basically get everybody in the crew involved.”
The original Cuban Linx was intended to play like a film with Rae as the “star,” Ghostface Killah as the “guest star” and producer RZA as the “director.” Other guests included Wu-Tang brethren Inspectah Deck, Method Man and Masta Killa.
Cuban Linx debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and No. 2 on the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart, while selling roughly 130,000 copies in its first week. The album was eventually certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) in October 1995, two months after it dropped.
The album’s sequel, the aptly titled Only Built 4 Cuban Linx Pt. II, arrived in September 2009 and debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200. It boasted features from Busta Rhymes, Jadakiss, Slick Rick, RZA, Meth, the late Popa Wu and Cappadonna, among others.
No release date for the next installment has been announced.
#RIP: Actor Wilford Brimley, Pitch Man For Quaker Oats, Dead At 85!
Wilford Brimley, the mustachioed actor whose folksy style made him a staple on the big screen, TV shows and commercials, died Saturday at the age of 85, his manager said.
He is survived by wife Beverly and three sons. The Salt Lake City native died in an intensive care unit in St. George, Utah, manager Lynda Bensky said. He had been on dialysis and suffered multiple medical issues, she said.
"Wilford Brimley was a man you could trust," Bensky said. "He said what he meant and he meant what he said. He had a tough exterior and a tender heart. I’m sad that I will no longer get to hear my friend's wonderful stories. He was one of a kind."
Brimley was a regular character on the 1970s television hit "The Waltons" and the next decade found himself again embedded on a hit show, "Our House."
His big-screen credits include "Cocoon," "The Natural" and "The Firm," in which he portrayed a law firm's security chief who's keeping an eye on a young lawyer played by Tom Cruise.
But it was Brimley's work as an advertising pitchman that brought his mustache to millions of new viewers. He peddled Quaker Oats and cautioned America about diabetes for the American Diabetes Association.
His pronunciation of diabetes made him endearing to comedians and even to those who suffered from the disease. In 2018, the website Diabetes Daily proclaimed him "Mr. Diabeetus."
Tamar Braxton & We TV Cut Ties After Singer's Scathing Statement!
Tamar Braxton and We TV are officially parting ways. According to a statement released Friday (July 31), the network has decided to officially end their relationship with Tamar after she broke her silence on her mental health following her recent suicide attempt along with scathing claims against the company.
“Tamar Braxton has been an important part of our network family for more than a decade,” reads We TV’s statement, per Page Six. “As she focuses on her health and recovery at what is clearly a difficult and personal time, we will work with her representatives to honor her request to end all future work for the network. We wish her nothing but the best.”
The decision comes after Tamar — who has appeared on We TV shows Braxton Family Values and the upcoming Get Ya Life! — released a statement after being hospitalized on July 16 after she was found unresponsive in her hotel room for an apparent drug overdose.
In her first statement since the scary episode, the "Love and War" songbird claimed she was “betrayed, taken advantage of, overworked, and underpaid” by the network.
“I wrote a letter over 2 months ago asking to be freed from what I believed was excessive and unfair. I explained in personal detail the demise I was experiencing. My cry for help went totally ignored. However the demands persisted,” Tamar went on, adding that the July 16 incident was “my attempt to end my pain and my life.”
Although Tamar and We TV have severed ties, her new series, Get Ya Life!, will still premiere on September 10. The show was expected to debut on July 30 but was pushed back after the singer’s apparent attempted suicide.
Gabrielle Union Slams AGT's Terry Crews Again, He Apologizes for Third Time!
Gabrielle Union is slamming her former America’s Got Talent co-star Terry Crews once again.
The actress and former AGT judge was interviewed on the Spotify podcast Jemele Hill Is Unbothered and she was asked about Terry‘s recent criticisms of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Terry recently received backlash over a tweet he wrote about “black supremacy.” A few weeks later he tweeted, “If you are a child of God, you are my brother and sister. I have family of every race, creed and ideology. We must ensure [black lives matter] doesn’t morph into [black lives better.]” He then went on CNN and debated the purpose of the movement.
Earlier this year, Terry made comments about Gabrielle‘s firing from AGT and he received a ton of backlash, including some from her.
In the new podcast interview, Gabrielle reflected on everything that has happened with Terry.
She said, “People hit me all day long and are like, what’s happening? And the only thing I know for sure is that Terry Crews gets three checks from NBC. So, I don’t know if being worried about job stability — which listen, we all know that if you speak up about racism and white supremacy, you absolutely can be shown the door. I don’t know if that’s the motivation.”
“Based on his recent actions, do you really think Terry Crews was an ally, was helpful, was a sounding board? I think Terry Crews is showing us who he is and what he does during times of adversity and it’s not solidarity,” she added.
After Gabrielle made claims of a toxic environment behind the scenes at AGT, NBC investigated the claims and decided that she wasn’t the victim of discrimination.
“At the end of the day, the work that I am doing to make sure that NBC is a more fair and equitable place of employment will benefit you [Crews] as well,” Gabrielle said (via Deadline). “So it’s OK to eat your cereal and let me do my thing and get out of the way. If you’re not going to help, then get out of the way. If you don’t feel financially comfortable, or spiritually comfortable or you flat out disagree, but at the end of the day he will benefit from a safer, more equitable workplace from what I stuck my neck out to do and got fired for, you know? Instead of actively working against progress.”
Terry took to Twitter after the podcast interview went live and gave his third public apology to Gabrielle.
“This will be my 3rd public apology to Gabrielle Union. If a 4th is needed, I will continue to apologize and push for reconciliation between the world, and more importantly, the culture I grew up in. I’m sorry, @itsgabrielleu #reconciliation,” he wrote.
Sean Penn, 59, Quietly Marries Girlfriend Leila George, 28!
Sean Penn is married again. The “Milk” actor, 59, appears to have tied the knot with girlfriend Leila George, 28.
Philanthropist Irena Medavoy — wife of “Black Swan” producer Mike Medavoy — Instagrammed a congratulations to the couple on Friday night, saying “We are so happy for @leilageorge #seanpenn getting married. We love you.”
Continuing, “We are over the moon to [see you] find your soulmate true partner.
“You are meant to be together. God Bless you both and the family you have joined. Introducing the Penn’s #marriage.”
Medavoy also posted an instagram story of what appears to be the ring, an oval sapphire. The couple have been dating since 2016.
They were seen this week at Nobu in Malibu grabbing dinner with Penn’s son Hopper.
George is the daughter of “Law & Order” star Vincent D’Onofrio. Penn was previously married to Robin Wright and Madonna.

“Back to the Future” star Lea Thompson backed actor Brad Garrett’s claims about “mean” behavior behind the scenes on “The Ellen DeGeneres Show.”
Last week Garrett, a six-time guest on the show, said in a tweet that he “knows more than one who were treated horribly” by the host months after allegations of behind-the-scenes bullying and mistreatment came to light. Garrett said the on-set behavior was “common knowledge.”
“True story. It is,” wrote Thompson in a tweet on Friday after news reports indicated the show is now the subject of an investigation of “staff experiences on set” by WarnerMedia, according to the Daily Mail.
Although DeGeneres, 62, has not been accused of any wrongdoing, employees claimed they were told not to speak to her if they saw her in the building. One former employee said they were fired after taking a month of medical leave following a suicide attempt. A black woman said she suffered numerous “microaggressions” after her request for a raise was ignored, the newspaper reported.
Last week, the TV host sought to shift the blame for the toxic environment in an emotional apology to her staff. “As we’ve grown exponentially, I’ve not been able to stay on top of everything and relied on others to do their jobs as they knew I’d want them done. Clearly some didn’t. That will now change and I’m committed to ensuring this does not happen again,” she wrote.
But Garrett dismissed her claims. “Sorry but it comes from the top @TheEllenShow,” he wrote in his tweet.

Judge Grants Nicki Minaj’s Husband’s Request To Be Present When The Baby Is Born!
Nicki Minaj’s husband, Kenneth Petty, is making every effort to be present for their first child’s birth.
According to TMZ, a judge has modified KP’s pre-trial release conditions so that he can travel and be in the delivery room when Nicki goes into labor.
The married couple is awaiting the once-in-a-lifetime moment of their first child, and of course, the rapper’s husband wants him to be by her side. But his pending criminal case was in the way.
KP submitted legal documents obtained by the outlet asking that the judge change the terms of his pre-trial release conditions, which would allow him to travel with his wife periodically on business trips as her manager, as well as to be there for the birth of their child.
KP was arrested for failing to register as a sex offender when he first moved to California, he has since done so, but was restricted to traveling outside the state and had a curfew, which was why he needed the judge to tweak the terms, in case Nicki went into labor outside of his curfew hours.
Kenneth’s sex offender status is the result of a 1995 New York conviction for first-degree attempted rape. A judge recently gave him the right to surf the web.
Apparently, the U.S. attorney’s office nor the pre-trial services office were opposed to his request, which may be the reason the judge signed off on his request.
U.S. General Manager For TikTok Says ‘We’re Not Planning On Going Anywhere’!
TikTok general manager Vanessa Pappas said on Saturday that the Chinese app isn’t going anywhere, despite Donald Trump threatening to ban the video-sharing service by executive order.
“We’re not planning on going anywhere,” said Pappas in a video shared on TikTok. “When it comes to safety and security we’re building the safest app because it’s the right thing to do.”
Trump has vowed to sign an executive order, possibly as early as Saturday, banning the app, amid rumors of a Microsoft acquisition to allow it to continue operating in the U.S., Daily Mail reports.
U.S. officials consider TikTok a national security risk under its Chinese parent company, ByteDance, because of the data collection of users.
In the Microsoft deal, Microsoft would be in charge of protecting all U.S. user data, a source told Daily Mail, and ByteDance would divest completely.
TikTok has 80 million daily active users in the U.S., and according to Pappas video, the app employs about 15,000 people in the U.S., with plans to add about 10,000 more jobs
Atlanta Councilman Antonio Brown Says He Will Not Resign & Plans To Fight Federal Fraud Charges!
Atlanta councilman Antonio Brown has found himself caught up with the feds for fraud.
According to the AJC, the 35-year-old District 3 councilman was indicted by a federal grand jury this week on multiple counts of fraud. Antonio says he’s NOT stepping down from his council seat and plans to fight these charges
He was hit with multiple counts of fraud for allegedly lying about his income on applications to obtain loans and credit cards which he used for personal purchases, including a Range Rover and Mercedes Benz C300.
The U.S. Attorney’s Office also accused Antonio of lying about being a victim of identity theft to defraud the financial institutions that gave him the money.
The AJC breaks down the crimes the feds claim he committed:
“For years, Antonio Brown allegedly sought to defraud a number of banks and credit card companies by falsely claiming that he was the victim of identity theft,” said U.S. Attorney Byung J. “BJay” Pak.
According to Pak, Brown opened a number of credit cards beginning in 2012, which he then used to make thousands of dollars in personal purchases. Pak also accused Brown of obtaining over $60,000 in loans for the cars.
The indictment further alleges that Brown provided false information to Signature Bank when applying for a $75,000 loan in August 2017. Brown allegedly provided a personal financial statement during the application process falsely claiming he earned $325,000 per year and had $200,000 in available cash or assets.
Brown knew this information was false because he had recently submitted other loan applications reporting far less income and available cash or assets, Pak said in the press release.
For instance, in a July 2017 loan application to another bank, Brown submitted a 2016 federal income tax return reporting that he earned $125,000 per year -- $200,000 less than what he represented that his income was to Signature Bank, prosecutors allege.
He has been charged with wire fraud, mail fraud, bank fraud and making false statements on a bank loan application.
Atlanta City Council President Felicia Moore issued a statement after news of the indictment and said that Antonio will not have to give up his seat on the council as a result of the charges.
Despite the charges, Antonio – the first black openly LGBTQ person ever elected to the Atlanta City Council – told the AJC he’s going to fight the charges and is not resigning his council seat
Kim Kardashian Says she Is ‘Torn’ Over Divorcing Kanye West!
Kim Kardashian is holding onto hope that she can save her marriage.
On Monday, she reunited with Kanye West in Cody, Wyoming following his recent erratic behavior on social media and at his presidential rally. In the photos, the reality star can be seen crying in the car with her husband. A source tells PEOPLE that Kim “feels that she has tried everything.”
“She isn’t getting back what she needs from Kanye,” says the source. “She was to the point that she flew to Cody to basically tell him their marriage is over and to say goodbye.”
Kanye appears to still want to repair their relationship and keep their family intact. He has apologized to his wife on Twitter for his hurtful comments, including claims that she cheated on him with Meek Mill.
“He doesn’t seem to get what she is saying,” adds the source. “He hasn’t changed anything that she told him needs to change.”
While the mother of four is trying to avoid divorce, she is not sure what the future holds. “Kim is very torn,” says the source. “The last thing she wants is to be divorced with four kids. She knows that she will be fine financially, but her concerns are the kids and the partnership. She is moving towards a divorce, but who knows if she will actually sign papers.”
The couple, who has been married for six years, had reportedly been discussing a split prior to Kanye’s Twitter meltdown. “She loves Kanye and she thinks of him as the love of her life,” the source says. “But she doesn’t know what to do.”
After her trip to Wyoming, Kim returned home to Los Angeles on Tuesday to be with their kids. “It’s honestly not healthy for the kids,” the source tells PEOPLE. “He needs to get his stuff together before he can be any sort of partner or father.”
During his first presidential rally in South Carolina earlier this month, Kanye broke down in tears while revealing that he considered aborting his first child, North West.
On Friday, he addressed the controversial comments, which were reportedly a source of upset for Kim. “I cried at the thought of aborting my first born and everyone was so concerned about me,” he tweeted. “I’m concerned for the world that feels you shouldn’t cry about this subject.”
While there is concern that he is in the middle of a bipolar episode, he assured everyone that he is OK. “There is a tactic of 4 D’s Distract Discredit Dismiss To Destroy,” tweeted Ye. “I am quite alright. Take a second and think about what is being projected here.”
50 Cent To Take Another Hiatus From Instagram After Reports Of Bullying!
50 Cent is taking a break from Instagram. The rapper announced that he will be taking a break from the social media platform after this blocked one of his videos for violating community guidelines.
On Friday, July 31st, 50 took a screenshot of the post that was flagged along with the explanation citing harassment or bullying.
He went on to say, “I don’t understand this, why am I getting this? It says the post is removed for bullying but the post is still on my page. ok time to take a break from IG.”
After announcing his hiatus, he would later go on to share a few posts. This wouldn’t be the first time that 50 will be taking a hiatus from Instagram.
In 2018, he tweeted saying that he was staying off of IG due to censorship issues.
Boston Bombing Victim Adrianne Haslet 'Livid' After Dzhokhar Tsarnaev's Death Penalty Overturned!
Boston Marathon bombing survivor Adrianne Haslet made it very clear that she was upset when Dzkhokhar Tsarnaev won his death penalty appeal this week. The 1st U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals agreed to reconsider Tsarnaev's sentence on Friday, according to a report by The Associated Press, meaning he may endure life in prison as opposed to execution. Haslet was not pleased.
Haslet posted a photo on Instagram on Friday, showing Tsarnaev giving the middle finger to a prison security camera side-by-side with herself giving the finger to a glass door — presumably the prison or the court. With it, she included a long note in the caption about how she felt about this appeal. Haslet noted that she generally believes the criminal justice system in the U.S. needs reform, but in the case of Tsarnaev, she believes the death penalty is the only logical sentence.
"I'm so livid at today's ruling by the federal court," Haslet wrote. "First and foremost, I cannot emphasize enough, without a shadow of a doubt, that the criminal justice system needs a complete overhaul to stop racial profiling, and the death penalty is used in far too many cases of injustice. AND. The death penalty should be used in this particular case."
Haslet rehashed the severity of Tsarnaev's crime, reiterating that it was not just murder but a terrorist attack. She also reminded her followers of Tsarnaev's testimony about his plans to commit other terrorist attacks. To Haslet, it was not her personal loss that made Tsarnaev irredeemable but his philosophy of hatred towards the country as a whole.
"That is why I stood by the death penalty in this particular case," Haslet wrote. "He is a threat to all of us and he needs to die. I cannot imagine the comments I'm about to get for speaking my mind, but these have been my thoughts since I testified. I'm not a woman with a grudge, I'm a human with a brain."
Haslet finished by noting that she is "ready to testify again" if she needs to. Haslet was a professional dancer in 2013 when Tsarnaev and his brother set off a makeshift bomb at the finish line of the Boston marathon. Haslet's left leg was so badly injured that it needed to be amputated.
In the years that followed, Haslet's rehabilitation was one of the most inspiring stories associated with the Boston Marathon bombing. In 2016, she returned with a prosthetic to complete the marathon on her own terms.
