When Louis Vuitton Men’s Men’s Artistic Director Virgil Abloh returned from his sabbatical to work on the FW20 Louis Vuitton show, he presented it as set in heaven. On Wednesday Louis Vuitton shared the FW campaign titled “Heaven on Earth”, with super creative photographer Tim Walker behind the lens.
Press materials explain the emotional component in Virgil Abloh’s “Heaven on Earth” vision as one applying his ongoing premise of Boyhood - “seeing the world through the unspoiled eyes of a child – the Men’s Artistic Director uses clouds as a symbol of freedom, unity, and peace. Evading constraint, territory, and possession, they are dreamlike bodies floating across a sky observed universally across borders and beliefs,” writes the Louis Vuitton Mens Campaign website.
Ghanaian model Ottawa Kwami, Senne Pluym and British actor Michael Ward headline the campaign, using “the metaphorical language of clouds to express freedom, unity, and peace.”, especially through the lens of the Black imagination.
In a more fashion-focused analysis, Virgil Abloh is exploring the relationship between a boy and his suit, beginning at a young age.

Kandi Burruss’ daughter Blaze is already full of personality! The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom recently captured some of her nine-month-old baby’s “many moods” on camera — and the resulting pics are seriously too cute for words.
On August 22, Kandi took to Instagram to share a series of photos showcasing Blaze enjoying some food as she sits in a high chair at the table. And apparently, whatever she was eating had Kandi’s youngest child running a gamut of emotions. As captured in the photos below, Blaze looked like she was experiencing every kind of feeling, from delight to confusion, during the meal.

Internationally known saxophonist Mike Phillips taps Brian McKnight for his latest single “Come Together”. The song was included on Phillips’ recently released fourth album “Pulling Off the Covers”.
You might recognize the song upon first listen, as it is a cover of the Slave classic. Phillips combines his unique blend of Jazz and R&B while McKnight lends his legendary vocals.
The pair linked up to create a video for the song even during times of quarantine in the pandemic. Brian checks in from his home on the East Coast while Phillips performs with his band out on the West Coast.

#HipHopNews: Longtime Hot 97 Executive Paddy Duke Fired For Involvement In Yusef Hawkins Murder!
NEW YORK, NY – The consequences from HBO’s Storm Over Brooklyn documentary highlighting the 1989 murder of Yusef Hawkins have crept their way into New York radio station Hot 97.
On Sunday (August 23), the 31st anniversary of Hawkins’ murder, the station announced in a statement they’d fired longtime executive Paddy Duke for his involvement in his death.
“After watching HBO’s Storm over Brooklyn, HOT97 was shocked and took swift action,” the statement read. “Paddy Duke is no longer employed by HOT97. The march for social justice continues.”
Duke, real name Pasquale Raucci, was among a mob of White men who crowded Hawkins and three other Black teens and attacked them in Bensonhurst, a predominantly Italian-American section of Brooklyn. The mob thought they were part of a different group of Black teens headed to a party at the home of a local girl the mob believed had begun dating a Black man.
The 16-year-old Hawkins was considered a leader amongst his peers and had dreams of possibly becoming an engineer. In the Storm Over Brooklyn documentary, friend Christopher Graham remembered Hawkins fondly as someone who was hard to guard on the basketball court considering he was left-handed.
Hawkins and company were in Bensonhurst inquiring about a used 1982 Pontiac advertised in the newspaper for $900. Soon, Hawkins and his three associates were being followed by a group of 10 White men that soon swelled to 30 men. Some held bats and begun yelling racial slurs at the group, “Let’s club the n*ggers!”
Soon, gunshots rang out. Hawkins was shot twice in the chest and later died at the hospital. Five members of the mob were arrested in connection with Hawkins’ murder, including Duke. Although he was found not guilty of manslaughter or second-degree murder, Duke was convicted on eight lesser counts and sentenced to three years probation and a $200 fine.
Duke’s ousting from the station has raised questions concerning the station’s hiring of Duke as well as whether knowledge of his prior crimes had been known by execs who’d given him a job. According to his LinkedIn profile, he’d served as the producer of Angie Martinez’s show and was an on-air DJ at the station from 1994 until 2003 before he became the commercial production director.
Laurence Fishburne Turned Down ‘Pulp Fiction’ Due To Its Depiction Of Heroin!
As the star of Apocalypse Now, Boyz n the Hood, and The Matrix, Laurence Fishburne has undoubtedly had a rather stellar career.
But like every other mainstream actor, Fishburne has also turned down big roles in films that have gone on to be huge hits. During a recent interview with Vulture, the Oscar nominated star opened up about rejecting these roles, one of which was Pulp Fiction’s Jules Winnfield, and he doesn’t actually have any regrets about doing so.
Fishburne said that he turned down the part because he “had a problem with the way the heroin use was dealt with,” which he felt was just “a little cavalier [and] loose.”
“I felt like it made heroin use attractive. For me, it’s not just my character. It’s, ‘What is the whole thing saying?’…It wasn’t about my character in Pulp Fiction. It was about the way in which the heroin thing was delivered. And the whole f****** thing with the hypodermic and the adrenaline shot? No.”
The role of Winnfield was ultimately played by Samuel L. Jackson, who was nominated for an Academy Award for his portrayal. Fishburne clearly adores Jackson’s performance, too, saying that he “walks away with the movie.”
“Sam f****** sticks the movie in his pocket and walks away from it, walks into a f****** leading-man career. What are you talking about? It’s a great part.”

Vlogger Tasha K released video footage of Pastor Gray allegedly on a video call app (that looks very much like Marco Polo app videos) with his side chick, Mary. Now, the receipts look a bit … weird … being that it was oriignally alleged he was on a FaceTime call with the woman, but Facetime calls usually show BOTH participants on the screen. We're not 100% sure which platform Pastor Gray was using to make these videos...but here they are!
In the clips, Pastor Gray drags his wife Aventer for not cooking. He panned his camera to his son in the backseat of their car, confirming his mother doesn’t cook. In so many words, he said his son eats frozen pizzas everyday “because that’s what you have to do to feed when ain’t nobody cooking.” Oh?
In another clip, Pastor Gray told his sidepiece Marry – who he called by name – to get her two-piece swimsuit AND HER MASK ready in an hour for a trip to Cabo while showing video of a private jet. Americans have been jeting to Cabo because it is one of the few places allowing Americans to visit amid the pandemic.
”You got an hour to get ready. We going to Cabo, so bring your mask and your favorite two-piece because we out,” he told her.
The fact he told Mary to bring her mask lets you know this video was recorded recently, amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
In another clip, Pastor Gray - who pastored for several years at Joel Osteen's Lakewood Church in Houston - explains to Mary how he’s going to cook her brisket, baked beans, mashed potatoes and corn, dubbing himself “Chef John," after a bet they made.
Again, it has yet to be confirmed if the woman is to be believed and what platform was being used for these videos.

John and Aventer have been married for about 9 years and share two children – a son named John Gray IV and a daughter named Theory Gray. The couple made their home in South Carolina after they were appointed lead pastors of Relentless Church in Greenville, South Carolina, in May 2018.
The couple went through several ups and downs last year. After confessing to the congregation that he cheated on his wife, Pastor Gray gifted Aventer a $200,000 Lamborghini for their 8th wedding anniversary. Folks dragged the pastor for filth on social media for it.
At the time, it was alleged one of Pastor Gray’s side chicks was pregnant with his baby.
“John had an affair with a woman that was rumored to have been expecting a child with. Apparently his wife confronted the alleged girlfriend and gave her and old fashioned ass whipping. Kenosha Police Shoot Man; Video Of Incident Appears To Show Officer Firing Several Shots Into His Back At!
Kenosha police shot a man Sunday evening, setting off unrest in the city after a video appeared to show the officer firing several shots at close range into the man's back.
The shooting victim has been identified as Jacob Blake, a Black man, by Wisconsin officials. He was in serious condition at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee as of early Monday morning.
The Wisconsin Department of Justice's Division of Criminal Investigation said early Monday that the involved officers have been placed on administrative leave.
Police had been called to a domestic incident in the 2800 block of 40th Street at 5:11 p.m. where the shooting later occurred.
Officers provided immediate aid to the shooting victim, Kenosha police reported, and he was taken by Flight for Life to Froedtert.
“Tonight, Jacob Blake was shot in the back multiple times, in broad daylight," Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers said in a statement. "While we do not have all of the details yet, what we know for certain is that he is not the first Black man or person to have been shot or injured or mercilessly killed at the hands of individuals in law enforcement in our state or our country."
The Kenosha News reported that neighbors said Blake was trying to break up a fight between two women. Bystanders said he was Tased and then shot several times.
A video circulating on social media shows a man in a white shirt and black shorts walking to a gray van, followed by two male police officers with weapons drawn. The video does not show what happened before the man walked away from the officers, nor what was said, if anything.
As the man opens the door to get in, an officer grabs his shirt to hold him still, then appears to shoot him in the back at close range. Seven shots are heard, followed by a car horn, presumably from the man's head falling forward. A woman who followed behind the police can be seen screaming and jumping up and down.
Kenosha police requested Wisconsin State Patrol and Kenosha County Sheriff's deputies come to the scene because the shooting involved an officer.
The Division of Criminal Investigation said in a news release early Monday morning that it will try to provide a report of the incident to the prosector within 30 days.
"DCI is continuing to review evidence and determine the facts of this incident and will turn over investigative reports to a prosecutor following a complete and thorough investigation," the release said.
Civil rights attorney Benjamin Crump shared a video from the incident on Twitter. He also said Blake's three sons were in the car when Blake was shot.
"They saw a cop shoot their father," Crump tweeted. "They will be traumatized forever. We cannot let officers violate their duty to PROTECT us. Our kids deserve better!!"
Crump represents the family of George Floyd, a Black man who died at the knee of a fired Minneapolis police officer on Memorial Day. He also is backing the family of Joel Acevedo, who died after being put into a chokehold by an off-duty Milwaukee police officer at a party.
Large crowds soon gathered at the scene of the shooting, and protests and unrest, including several fires, continued into the early hours of Monday.

J.R. Smith Calls Tory Lanez a 'Clown': 'Tell Whoever to Hit My Line It's Whatever'!
J.R. Smith is from New Jersey—not the circus, so he made it clear that he won't support any clownery. That includes being around people who still listen to Tory Lanez.
On Sunday, Smith took to his IG Stories with a post that condemned Tory Lanez for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion.
"This clown shoots a female an [SIC] y'all listening to his music like it's okay," Smith wrote. "Tf @torylanez you a straight [clown]. ... an [SIC] tell whoever to hit my line it's whatever."
On Thursday, Megan Thee Stallion hosted an Instagram Live session during which she explicitly named Tory Lanez as her attacker for the first time. Megan explained that she was pushed to do so as a result of Tory's team spreading false information.
"Yes, this n***a Tory shot me. You shot me, and you got your publicist and your people going to these blogs, lying and shit," Megan said. "Stop lying. Why lie? I don't understand. I tried to keep the situation off the internet, but you're dragging it."

Master P Speaks Out About Frustrations With C-Murder, Says He’s Pulling Financial Support!
Blood is thicker than water. ut it appears that Master P is done living by that mantra when it comes to younger brother C-Murder after P alleges his kindness is “being taken for granted.”
On Friday (Aug ), Master P took to Instagram to voice his frustrations after what he states was disrespect towards his family by C-Murder. According to the seven-minute video, Master P states that C-Murder, whose real name is Corey Miller, is frustrated with his family for the lack of results of getting him released from prison while praising Kim Kardashian and long-time friend and ex Monica publicly.
“There’s nothing more important to me than family,” Master P said. “And when a family member is incarcerated or hurt, the whole family is affected. But if you truly believe in God, you know that every man is accountable for their own actions. We also have family members that make poor decisions that result in painful consequences but put the blame on others to avoid taking responsibility themselves. It’s time for me to be truthful with my own family.”
Master P went onto state that while no one is perfect, the younger Miller’s attitude towards the No Limit head-honcho and the rest of his family has been swept under the rug mostly because the family is expecting him to be released soon and don’t want to cause any further issues, before adding that C-Murder’s attitude towards him left him feeling more like an ATM than a supportive brother.
“None of us are perfect but we are not going to grow if we don’t face the truth with each other,” Master P continued. “We need to stop being afraid to speak up, tell the truth, confront and correct each other in love. Everything is not about money. I’m tired of family members looking at me like an ATM. The Bible says: “Owe no man nothing but to love him.” I have went above and beyond for all of my family members whether they deserve it or not and most of them are ungrateful.”
Although the “Bout It, Bout It” rapper was venting, he did continue to maintain his brother’s innocence before noting that Miller’s family has stood by him calling for his release since 2002. Master P also states that adding to his frustrations is Miller placing his trust in the wrong people, including the ones who were on the scene the night that the 16-year old victim, Steve Thomas, was murdered.
“My brother is innocent. We have been fighting this case since 2002 and I know that he is frustrated. But he can’t continue to blame his family for his predicament when he has constantly put his trust in his friends,” Master P said. “All his co-defendants aka friends, the ones that were in the club with him on the day of the incident, testified against Corey and stated that he was the one that committed the crime so that they could save themselves and get out of jail. He never said anything negative about those friends, wrote any songs about them, talked about them in interviews or wrote any books about them. But he did speak negatively against our family, even against his own mother and father. And WE STILL LOVE HIM and will CONTINUE to fight for him.”
P went on to say that while he is frustrated with Miller, the only reason he chose to speak out publicly is due to fake stories being published claiming that the Miller family hasn’t been supportive during C-Murder’s incarceration.
“Whoever wrote the Instagram post that the bloggers and the media are talking about, doesn’t even sound like my brother or something that he would say,” Master P concluded. “And the only reason I am addressing this is because I will not allow him or his friends to make a mockery out of our family that has been dedicated, committed and continue to be here for him even when the fakers and publicity goes away. I’m tired of family members thinking I’m supposed to fix all of their problems. I’m not God. I love my brother and I’m praying for the best for him. God knows the Truth @cmurder @silkktheshocker @monicadenise @kimkardashian.”
While Master P did not speak negatively about Monica specifically, the singer did respond to his claim that the two only reconnected recently, adding that the issue is between him and C-Murder before pointing out that she not only has been faithfully visiting Miller over the duration of his incarceration but also that she is the one who connected him with Kim Kardashian more than seven months ago.

Ohio Becomes The Fourth State To Remove Kanye West From The Presidential Ballot!
Kanye West is still running for president, but in the state of Ohio, he failed to meet the requirements for his name to appear on the ballot. Ohio is now the fourth state to officially eliminate him.
“A signature is the most basic form of authentication and an important, time-honored, security measure to ensure that a candidate aspires to be on the ballot and that a voter is being asked to sign a legitimate petition,” Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose said in a statement. “There is no doubt that the West nominating petition and declaration of candidacy failed to meet the necessary threshold for certification.”
New Jersey, Wisconsin, and Wests’ home state of Illinois are the three other states that have dropped the rapper from their ballots.
According to The New York Post, West had allegedly submitted 600 fake names in a bid to get on New Jersey’s ballot. Illinois dropped him for allegedly filing petitions with fake signatures, and Wisconsin took him off the ballot claiming he was late in filing his signature and papers.
The Post also reports that due to West’s failure to file a Federal Election Commission report — a report stating whether his campaign has raised or spent $100,000 — his campaign may be struggling.
Asteroid Headed Our Way Before Election Day, According To NASA!
As if we haven’t already experienced enough in 2020, NASA says there is an asteroid headed our way.
The celestial object known as 2018VP1 is projected to come close to Earth on November 2, just one day before the election, according to Center for Near-Earth Objects at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, CNN reports.
“Asteroid 2018VP1 is very small, approximately 6.5 feet, and poses no threat to Earth. If it were to enter our planet’s atmosphere, it would disintegrate due to its extremely small size,” NASA said in a statement. “NASA has been directed by Congress to discover 90% of the near-Earth asteroids larger than 140 meters (459 feet) in size and reports on asteroids of any size.”
The object was first identified in 2018, and it has been determined to be relatively harmless if it does make an impact with Earth. There is only a slight chance of it even hitting the Earth, about 0.41%, according to data.
Larry King Speaks After Two Of His Children Die Within Three Weeks!
On Friday two of Larry King’s children have tragically died in the last three weeks.
And on Sunday the legendary broadcaster spoke about their passing for the first time.
In a post on Facebook, King wrote, “It is with sadness and a father’s broken heart that I confirm the recent loss of two of my children, Andy King, and Chaia King. Both of them were good and kind souls and they will be greatly missed.”
Chaia was 51 and Andy was 65.
“Andy passed away unexpectedly of a heart attack on July 28th, and Chaia passed on August 20th, only a short time after having been diagnosed with lung cancer,” he wrote, “Losing them feels so out of order. No parent should have to bury a child.”
“My family and I thank you for your outpouring of kind sentiments and well wishes,” he added.Larry, 86, adopted Andy in 1962 after he married his mother, Alene Akins. Larry and Akins had Chaia in 1969.
The “Politiking with Larry King” host is also the father to Larry Jr., from his second marriage, and college-age sons Chance and Cannon, from his most recent marriage to Shawn King.
Kellyanne Conway Announces She's Leaving Her White House Job!
Kellyanne Conway is leaving the White House. The 53-year-old Counselor to President Trump announced on Sunday evening (August 23) that she is leaving her position at the end of this month to focus on her family.
“The past four years have allowed me blessings beyond compare as a part of history on Election Night 2016 and as Senior Counselor to the President,” Kellyanne started her statement, which she shared on Twitter. “It’s been heady. It’s been humbling.”
Kellyanne also revealed that her husband George Conway will also be stepping away from his job The Lincoln Project.
“I will be transitioning from the White House at the end of this month. George is also making changes. We disagree about plenty but we are united on what matters most: the kids,” Kellyanne wrote. “Our four children are teens and ‘tweens starting a new academic year, in middle school and high school, remotely from home for at least a few months. As millions of parents nationwide know, kids ‘doing school from home’ requires a level of attention and vigilance that is as unusual as these times.”
Ahead of Kellyanne‘s statement, George announced his departure, tweeting, “So I’m withdrawing from @ProjectLincoln to devote more time to family matters. And I’ll be taking a Twitter hiatus. Needless to say, I continue to support the Lincoln Project and its mission. Passionately.”
Kellyanne‘s announcement comes after the couple’s daughter Claudia, 15, announced she was “officially pushing for emancipation.” Claudia has been very vocal in her criticism about Trump.
“This is completely my choice and my voice. In time, I will announce future plans,” Kellyanne concluded. “For now, and for my beloved children, it will be less drama, more mama.”
Kellyanne served as Trump‘s campaign manager during the 2016 Presidential Election and then was appointed to Counselor after he won.
As of right now, Kellyanne Conway is still expected to speak during the Republican National Convention
