Ellie Goulding For GLAMOUR's May Digital Issue!
Ellie Goulding has reflected on the unhealthy relationships of her Twenties and praised her marriage to Caspar Jopling.
The Starry Eyed songstress, 33, who wed the businessman, 28, in an idyllic ceremony in York last year, spoke in GLAMOUR's May digital issue about her younger loves and how it is being a newlywed in lockdown.
Having had previous high profile romances in her Twenties - with stars including Jeremy Irvine, Dougie Poytner and reportedly Prince Harry - she admits at the time she was 'a jealous, chaotic, frenzied person'.
Speaking about her younger relationships, Ellie said: 'I wrote a song about jealousy the other night because I was a jealous, chaotic, frenzied person in my 20s.'
She admits her rise to fame played a part in her instability, as she went on: 'I didn't know who I was. I went straight from university to being on tour, so I had no chance to settle into a routine and understand my habits and my personality...
'If you enter into a relationship as that person, then you will attract the same person that isn't right for you...
'Then for whatever reason, you keep going with this relationship because you feel safe in it and you feel like I'd rather be in this crazy relationship than be single'.
Ellie also admitted that not being close to her parents Arthur and Tracey was a factor: 'I think because of my childhood and not really being that close to either of my parents gave me that extra urge for comfort and security.'
Ellie has now found her happily ever after with Caspar, with whom she confirmed her engagement on 7 August 2018, before tying the knot in an idyllic and star-studded ceremony at York Minster on 31 August 2019.
Caspar is the grandson of former Conservative MP Michael Jopling, who was the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food from 1983 to 1987.
Since lockdown began, Ellie admits the couple have been tackling their marriage 'maturely' - in a stark difference to her younger relationships.
She revealed: 'When I think about my marriage, it's a perfect example of it because it's so mature, we talk things through, and we never argue...
'If we have differences, we talk them out, we don't just say, 'Well, I'm right and you're wrong and we'll just agree to differ.' We talk about why we might disagree on something.'
'It's been great, I can honestly say that we haven't come to blows, we haven't stormed out of the house or vice versa and I'm grateful for that...
'It's probably not ideal straight after you get married to suddenly be completely forced together, but it's been actual evidence that we can just coexist really peacefully and really happily.'
Well-known for her love of fitness, Ellie also discussed her body confidence and her relationship with her body and image.
She said: 'I've always kept fit and I've always been really conscious of health, but I had an unhealthy relationship with food. But then I also had this destructive side, which was very in keeping with being an artist and a songwriter...
'Then the other half of me was so desperate for control and routine. That affected my diet, it affected my relationship with food. Then I also was really against eating meat and then I was vegan, but I wasn't a good vegan...
'I think I've done every type of diet there is. I've never been obsessed with being as thin as possible, as I truly think to be strong is the most incredible thing ever for a woman.'

#RHOA: CATFIGHT! Kandi Burruss Pops off on Nene Leakes: "I'm Embedded in Your Motherf--king Brain"!
When Kandi Burruss pops off, she pops off, as we've seen on The Real Housewives of Atlanta over the years. It turns out the Season 12 reunion was one such occasion where she wasn't about to hold anything back.
Given that Kandi has had a pretty calm, cool, and collected season of RHOA, what inspired such a fiery reaction from her, you ask? Well, it was none other than Nene Leakes.
During Part 2 of the RHOA Season 12 reunion, which aired on May 17, host Andy Cohen asked Kandi and Nene about their recent beef that broke out on social media. Kandi asked Nene who she was talking about when she appeared to be throwing shade in a video she posted on her YouTube channel. "I don't have to answer to you," Nene told Kandi, to which she replied, "If you don't want to answer the question, you are not the one keeping it real, Miss 'I Keep It Real' Leakes."
Nene then said that if she was talking about Kandi, she wouldn't have done so behind her back. "First of all, if I got something to say, I will say it to your face," Nene said. "Who are you to run from?"
Kandi pointed out that she and Nene "got along all season" and that she didn't have any problems with her. "I was the main one trying to be cool and help you get along with other people," Kandi noted.
Andy agreed, expressing confusion over why the two seem to be feuding now. "I'm trying to get to the bottom of what is going on between the two of you," he said at the reunion. "Can either of you explain how this started, because it seemed that you were getting along well this season?"
"I texted Kandi and told her it had nothing to do with her. She still went to the next level with it," Nene explained. "I've never been the type of girl to back down from nobody, OK? So if I wanted to talk about Miss Boring, I would have talked about her."
Things really started to get intense when Nene said "girl, bye" to Kandi. "'Bye, bitch!' That's all you can say is 'bye,'" Kandi clapped back. "But you can't stop seeing me, bitch, because I'm everywhere, bitch. I'm everywhere, and you're gonna continue to see me. You been knowing me since before I got here, bitch. You been singing my songs, bitch. I got you over here singing my songs."

Nene then called Kandi "forgettable." "You could host the Grammys tomorrow, they will forget about you and your outfit," she said. "Nobody cares!"

Nene gave Kandi one final "bye, girl" before calling everyone "such haters."
Part 2 of the reunion ended with Nene turning her camera away and exiting the room. We can't wait to see what the next part brings.

#HipHopNews: Ludacris Shares Unreleased Version Of ‘Money Maker’ Featuring Nelly!
Not even a storm could stop Ludacris and Nelly from facing off during their epic Verzuz battle on Instagram Live on Saturday night.
The rap titans were set to go live at 7 p.m., but Nelly’s Wi-Fi signal kept dipping in and out, causing delays and technical issues.
But once they got up and running, the Atlanta rapper and St. Louis MC entertained fans with a nostalgic three-hour livestream filled with over 20 of their biggest hits—from “Area Codes” and “Dilemma” to “Stand Up” and “Hot in Herre.”
With nearly half-a-million viewers locked in, including Diddy, Usher, and Quincy Jones, Ludacris debuted never-before-heard music including a version of his Neptunes-produced hit “Money Maker” featuring Nelly. The St. Lunatic can be heard singing the hook in place of Pharrell: “Shake your money maker / Like somebody ’bout to pay ya / I see you on my radar / Don’t you act like you afraid of shit.”
It’s unclear why the Nelly version was never released, but it would have been their only collaboration. “Money Maker,” which appears on Ludacris’s fifth album Release Therapy, hit No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in October 2006.
Luda also debuted a pair of new tracks produced by Timbaland, including a collaboration with Lil Wayne called “Silence of the Lamb” and another featuring Chance the Rapper. He said that he and Timbaland have at least 12 more songs in the can waiting to be released.

'American Idol' Crowns Just Sam as Season 18 Winner!
The American Idol Season 18 champion crowned Just Sam as its newest winner on Sunday night. Following the footsteps of some of the all-time greats from the series' long run, which includes Carrie Underwood and Kelly Clarkson and more recently Season 17 winner Laine Hardy, the American Idol winner was announced and had audiences at home reveling in the announcement.
With the season needing to make a shift midway through the show following the Hawaii Round at the Aulani Resort, the Top 20 performed from the comforts of their home as opposed to playing on the big stage in Los Angeles. With things operating differently, the show was a bit different over the past few weeks, but it didn’t stop the ultimate winner from coming out on top. It ended up being Just Sam taking the title as the next Idol, outlasting Arthur Gunn in the final top two.
Coming into the night, seven finalists remained. The competition was chopped down by two as Louis Knight and Julia Gargano were on the outside looking in as the top five finalists were formed. Left standing were Johnny West, Dillon James, Just Sam, Francisco Martin and Arthur Gunn.
On finale night, Just Sam first performed "Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You)" by Kelly Clarkson before choosing to sing "Rise Up" as her personal choice. The Harlem native had quite the story coming into this as evidenced by her audition round. Just Sam, whose birth name is Samantha Diaz, shared the story of being adopted by her grandmother after being in foster care.
In an interview with Good Housekeeping, Just Sam revealed that she has been conducting the at-home rounds at home in quarantine and not with her grandmother for her safety. She said it was a really hard decision. "I get to stay in California so that my grandmother could be okay and so I don't risk getting her sick," she said in the interview. "I don't have much, just my two suitcases that I had packed about two months ago."
As the winner, Just Sam will have her single for "Rise Up" released on Monday and will also appear on Good Morning America and Live with Kelly and Ryan the same day. American Idol was also renewed for a fourth season on ABC.

Janet Jackson’s 3-Year-Old Son Eissa Is Living Large During Their Quarantine!
Janet Jackson doesn’t usually let the public into her personal life, however, she’s giving her fans a glimpse into how she’s spending her days in quarantine with her young one.
Via Twitter, the superstar singer posted a photo of an indoor playhouse she and her 3-year-old son Eissa, who she shares with ex Wissam Al Mana, built.
“My baby and I built a lil’ island retreat #IslandLife,” she captioned the picture, which shows an elaborate house built out of painted cardboard. There’s also a make-shift sign on the front of the mini home made out of adhesive letters spelling out “E’s Island Life,” just in-case you didn’t know who the occupant was.
One Janet fan wrote, “Eissa little house is cute !!! You both did a great job!!”

Mayor De Blasio Says NYC Will Not Reopen Beaches For Memorial Day Weekend!
Mayor Bill de Blasio reiterated New York City beaches will not be open for swimming Memorial Day Weekend.
De Blasio said the city is not yet ready to open beaches.“I’ve said before, I’m going to say again, we are not opening our beaches on Memorial Day, we are not opening our beaches in the near term. It’s not safe. It is not the right thing to do in the epicenter of this crisis,” the mayor said. “Imagine the scene on the a train with people going out to the Rockaways, or any other train where people go to the beach, or the buses. We’re not going to allow that crowding to happen. So the word is no, not yet. Not now, beaches are not open for swimming, they’re not open for all the normal things people do in beach season. ”
People will be allowed to walk on the beach and enjoy it, as long as they preserve social distancing.
Fencing will be ready to be deployed, if necessary.
“We’re putting fencing in and in reserve that could close off the beaches as needed. It’s certainly not something I want to do or my team here at City Hall wants to do. I know the Parks Department doesn’t want to do it, but we will be ready if we have to. So what you’ll see in the coming days is fencing put in place, ready to be implemented,” de Blasio said. “No swimming, no parties, no sports, no gatherings. We’re going to give people a chance to get it right. And I believe in New Yorkers.”
As far as reports of people congregating outside bars and at restaurants in nice weather?
“I’m not comfortable at all with people congregating outside bars. It’s the same rule. If you start to form groups of people, and then you know 2, 3, 5 becomes 6, becomes 10, it becomes 15. That violates what we’re saying about social distancing… and it puts lives in danger,” de Blasio said
Woman and 5-year-old boy drown in backyard pool of ex-MLB OF Carl Crawford!
A woman and a 5-year-old boy drowned in the backyard pool of former MLB outfielder Carl Crawford’s house on Saturday afternoon, according to The Houston Chronicle’s Paul Takahashi.
The 5-year-old reportedly started having trouble breathing in the pool on property owned by Crawford. The 25-year-old woman then jumped in and tried to save him.
The Houston police and fire departments were reportedly called around 2:40 p.m. and found the woman and boy unresponsive. They were declared dead after being transported to Memorial Hermann Greater Heights Hospital.
According to Houston’s KHOU, the woman was named Bethany Lartigue. Her family told the outlet that she was filming music videos when she drowned and was in a relationship with a woman who recently signed a deal with Crawford’s music label, 1501 Certified Entertainment.
She was reportedly not related to the boy who drowned.
Crawford had six people gathered his house (gatherings of 10 people or fewer are allowed in Houston), per TMZ. The boy had reportedly wandered out and fell into the pool, and Crawford reportedly tried reviving both him and Lartigue after they couldn’t exit the pool safely.
Crawford’s 15-year MLB career ended in 2016 after stints with the Tampa Bay Rays, Boston Red Sox and Los Angeles Dodgers. He now manages his label in Houston and made headlines earlier this year as the defendant in a lawsuit filed by rapper Megan Thee Stallion over an allegedly over-restrictive contract
Justin Bieber Says He Wishes He Would Have ''Saved'' Himself for Marriage!
Justin Bieber and Hailey Bieber can agree to disagree. During an episode of the couple's Facebook Watch series, The Biebers on Watch, the two were asked about past regrets and things they would go back to change.
The "Yummy" singer answered that there are "probably a lot of things I would change." However, he added, "I don't regret anything because I think it makes you who you are and you learn from things. If I could go back and not have to face some of the bad hurt that I went through I probably would've saved myself for marriage."
He went on to explain that although it "sounds crazy," he thinks "sex can be kind of confusing when you're being sexually active with anybody."
While the singer's wife validated his feelings and thoughts surrounding having sex before your marriage and wanting to have possibly waited until marriage, the 23-year-old's experience wasn't like his.
"I don't know if I'd say the same, but we had different experiences with everything," she said. "I do agree with the fact that being physical with someone can make things more confusing."
Despite the two having different views and experiences on the matter, it seems like they respect each other's opinions.
Buffalo Bills Defensive Tackle Ed Oliver Arrested On DWI and Gun Charges, Released On Bail!
Buffalo Bills defensive tackle Ed Oliver, 22, joined the growing list of NFL players with recent off-the-field issues on Saturday night as he was arrested in Houston on charges of DWI and unlawful carrying of a firearm, according to the New York Post.
Police responded to a 911 call made by another driver who witnessed Oliver’s Ford pickup truck failing to maintain in his lane.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
According to NBC News, police discovered the player behind the wheel with an open can of beer between his legs. Video obtained by Yahoo! shows Oliver was given a sobriety test at the scene while wearing a Buffalo Bill’s shirt and was then taken to a nearby hospital for a mandatory blood test. He was later transported and booked at the Montgomery County Jail. Police also found a pistol in his vehicle.
“We are aware of the situation, and we are gathering more information. We will have no further comment at this point,” the Bills said in a statement.

According to the New York Post, Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker turned himself into Miramar Police in Florida as he faces four counts of armed robbery with a firearm and four counts of aggravated assault. Seahawks corner Quinton Dunbar, who along with Baker is accused of an armed robbery during a house party, also turned himself in. A $100,000 bond was set for Dunbar on Sunday morning.

An alleged sex tape of a certain “2 Phones” rapper has surfaced and fans think he’s clearly quite exhausted. Kevin Gates was a trending topic Saturday after a video surfaced seemingly showing the New Orleans rapper smashing someone to smithereens.

Mimi Faust Takes a Pay cut On Love And Hip Hop Atlanta Due To Lack Of Drama!
When we were introduced to Mimi Faust in Season 1 of Love and Hip Hop Atlanta back in 2012, her life was nothing but drama. She had a child with producer Stevie J, who to her shock, was having a relationship on the side with his artist, Joseline Hernandez. For a whole season, she dealt with a lot of embarrassment and heartache, but the embarrassment continued even when her relationship with Stevie ended. New relationships brought even more drama, including a sex tape she staged, and scrutiny from friends, while old issues brought about physical confrontations and a lot of teeth-clenching anger from Mimi.
But these days, she’s in a much better place. She’s been publicly dating girlfriend Ty Young since 2017, and positively co-parenting her daughter, Eva, with Stevie. And while that’s brought her a lot of peace, it has also messed with her money.
In an interview with actress Stacii Jae Johnson on Stacii’s YouTube series Love Rants, the 48-year-old reality star said Love and Hip Hop Atlanta producers actually required her to take a pay cut because she didn’t have enough chaos in her life for them to capture in Season 9.
“I think the show has kind of switched gears a little bit. A lot actually, and I’ve elevated and grown from the BS I was in. And I’m happy and nobody wants to see the happy on Love And Hip Hop. They just don’t,” she said. Love And Hip Hop is not a happy arena. They want to see wigs flying and drinks thrown and somebody punching somebody in the face. That’s what they want to see. And unfortunately, I choose not to participate in that and I’ve had to take a major pay cut because of it. The reason was, I didn’t have enough ‘drama’ in my life. $150,000 I had to take because of it. $150,000 pay cut.”
The star said producers encouraged her to find some drama in order to maintain her full salary, but she said she and Ty were against bringing problems into their relationship, so she went ahead and agreed to the pay cut.
“On my last interview, because you know, every season, we have to go back and talk to the producers and they’re like, ‘So what’s going on in your life? X, Y, and Z.’ And I think the second question I was asked was, was Ty cheating on me. [It] was the second question the producers asked in my meeting. I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ Am I supposed to be f–ked up, in a bad place, being cheated on my whole life? At what point am I allowed to grow and be happy and be okay and be good? Why do I have to consistently be cheated on every relationship that I’m in? But that’s what they want. And they were like, you either find some drama, find some drama or…you better go find some drama. I wasn’t willing to do that. I wasn’t willing to put my relationship in that place because if you bring BS to the table, you brought BS to your table. My girlfriend’s not with it. She’s not with, ‘oh let’s play and act like…,’ she’s not that girl. So that wasn’t an option for me, to act like she’s cheating on me or I’m cheating on her, for TV. We not doing that, so I took a pay cut.”
And while she continues to be a cast member on the show and collect whatever check she’s getting these days, Mimi admitted she may not be on LHHATL much longer. She can’t relate to the things her cast members are fighting about now, and honestly doesn’t want to, hence her always appearing either really confused or unbothered (with a drink or food in hand) when melee breaks out.
“Honestly, I don’t even feel like I belong on the show anymore,” she said. “I feel like a total outcast and an alien because I don’t even know what’s going on. What are we fighting about? That’s why I just sit there because I’m like, what? When I was going through my s–t, I was really going through some s–t for real. Really real. It was a f–ked up situation. Today they’re fighting over who’s the queen of Atlanta. What? I don’t understand, so I’m not going to get involved. I just don’t get it.”
Navy Grants First Waiver Allowing Transgender Officer To Remain In Uniform!
The U.S. Navy granted its first waiver that will allow a transgender service member to continue serving despite a 2019 policy that would have seen the sailor discharged. The naval officer, identified in the case as Jane Doe, served nearly 10 years in uniform as a surface warfare officer before being confronted with the likelihood of being kicked out under the new rules.
Doe filed her complaint in March in Massachusetts federal district court, with representation coming from the GLBTQ Legal Advocates & Defenders (GLAD) and the National Center for Lesbian Rights (NCLR). According to the members of her legal team, Doe first came out as transgender after being diagnosed with gender dysphoria in June 2019. The new guidelines, however, went into effect in April 2019, leaving Doe without protection under the policy’s grandfather clause.
The new policy was put into effect on the heels of a 2017 tweet from President Donald Trump that declared the military would no longer allow “transgender individuals to serve in any capacity,” a decision, the president wrote, came after “consultation with my Generals.” Trump’s decision reversed a 2016 policy implemented by the Obama administration that allowed transgender individuals to serve openly in the armed force.
Navy officials confirmed the waiver’s approval, and noted that Jane Doe’s gender marker will be updated in the Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System. The officer can now adhere to grooming and uniform standards in accordance to her preferred gender, Navy officials said.
