In Case You Didn't Know! The #RHOA Reunion To Be Filmed Online!
Due to the current coronavirus pandemic, several television shows have halted production, including Bravo favorite “Real Housewives of Atlanta.”

While the show is still airing Sunday nights, the season has wrapped — which typically means it’s time for the reunion. According to “housewife” Kandi Burruss, however, that reunion will be taking place online this time around.
“They let us know the other day that we are going to be … we’re going to have to do, I guess, an online type of reunion situation,” the former Xscape singer revealed on Instagram Live. She also spilled the tea on their current group chat, adding, “Some of the girls was going back and forth, you would’ve thought it had been a reunion on the text messages. I said, ‘damn! Can ya’ll save all this for the actual reunion? We don’t get paid for your text messages to be all out of pocket,’ you know what I mean? It’s a mess!”

Show executive producer and reunion host Andy Cohen tested positive for coronavirus last month, but is currently “feeling better.”

“Happy to report I’m feeling better and am returning to @radioandysxm this morning, and will try to end your day with a smile when we begin WWHL@Home tonight featuring @neneleakes @lisarinna @mrjerryo!” he posted on Instagram. “THANK YOU TO EVERYONE ON THE FRONT LINES OF COVID-19!”

#Empire final season ending early with series finale to air this April!
Last month, it was reported that major broadcast TV networks like ABC, NBC, The CW, CBS and Fox have decided that their current shows, who have been affected by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, will not be returning to finish their intended full seasons as they consider the great cost that comes with shutting down and starting up productions.

Now, it looks like another show has been affected by this with Deadline bringing word that the sixth and final season of Fox’s Taraji P. Henson-led hip-hop drama series Empire has already been cut short and will be ending sooner than it was originally planned. Empire will be having its series finale this coming April 21 with episode 6.18.
This is not the first time that the series had suffered a major setback with former series regular Jussie Smollett getting involved in a serious felony issue as he was charged with 16 felonies after it was revealed that he had staged an attack on himself last year.

Empire stars Terrence Howard, Taraji P. Henson, Bryshere “Yazz” Gray, Trai Byers, Grace Byers, Gabourey Sidibe, Ta’Rhonda Jones, Serayah, Xzibit, Rumer Willis, Andre Royo, and Terrell Carter. In addition to the regular cast, the series has featured guest appearances by a wide range of talented performers, including Demi Moore, Forest Whitaker, Alfre Woodard, Taye Diggs, and Phylicia Rashad.

#HipHopNews: Tekashi 6ix9ine Reportedly Plotting English & Spanish Rap LPs Seconds After Prison Release!
Tekashi 6ix9ine will be allowed to finish the remainder of his 24-month sentence at home. Judge Paul A. Engelmayer handed down the ruling on Thursday (April 2) after 6ix9ine’s legal team expressed concerns about the coronavirus putting his life in danger while behind bars.
Complex spoke to his attorney Dawn Florio shortly after the Engelmayer announced his decision and asked if he’d be able to continue making music while confined at home. Florio replied, “Yes, he can release music.”

Florio then confirmed 6ix9ine’s $10 million record contract with 10K Projects was real, but they’d have to figure out how to actually make that happen while most people are practicing social distancing.
“What he’s gonna do is, he already has that advance for 10K Projects,” she explained. “So he has to put out a Spanish album and an English album. So that’s what he’s going to be working on. “We were actually trying to figure out the logistics of how that’s going to work. It’s more difficult because of the coronavirus, because you don’t want strange people coming in to set up a studio where he’s going to be.”

She added, “He already got an advance for all those millions of dollars. So he’s gotta put out those two albums as soon as possible. I can confirm that from Bob.”
The controversial rapper was released from the Queens Detention Facility and he’ll spend the final four months of his sentence at home. Surprisingly, he’ll be able to use social media.

“So far, I haven’t seen any restrictions about him not being able to go on social media,” Florio said. “Obviously, it has to be in good taste. No more trolling.”

While the Brooklyn native may have a hefty advance, he’s facing multiple multi-million dollar lawsuits. Most recently, a woman filed a $150 million suit for injuries sustained in a 2018 shooting on a 6ix9ine video set. She’s seeking $75,000,000 in compensatory damages and $75,000,000 in punitive damages.

Floyd Mayweather's daughter, Iyanna, arrested for alleged STABBING!
Singer and social media celebrity Iyanna “Yaya” Mayweather, the daughter of boxer Floyd Mayweather, was arrested early Saturday on suspicion of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, according to court documents.
Mayweather, 19, was taken to a jail in Harris County, Texas, around 1:30 a.m. after a 25-year-old woman was stabbed and hospitalized, said Capt. Jonathan Zitzmann of the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office. The woman suffered non-life threatening injuries and underwent surgery, he said.

An altercation between Mayweather, rapper NBA Youngboy and a woman named Lapattra Lashai Jacobs turned violent Friday night, prompting law enforcement to show up at the rapper's home and arrest Mayweather, according to TMZ, which first reported the arrest.
Zitzmann said police arrived at the scene after emergency medical staff responded to a 911 call shortly before 7 p.m. The medical staff that helped the injured woman contacted police and alerted them to the possible altercation.

NBA Youngboy, born Kentrell DeSean Gaulden, and Mayweather used to be in a relationship. Jacobs has a child with the rapper, according to TMZ.
"I can confirm that one of the witnesses interviewed by police at the scene is named Kentrell," Zitzmann said.

Mayweather was released from jail on $30,000 bond, online records show. Her next court date is scheduled for Monday

Mark Hamill Says Farewell to 'Star Wars' in Touching Letter to The Fans!
Mark Hamill is saying goodbye to Star Wars. In a letter featured in The Skywalker Saga boxed set, the 68-year-old actor marks the end of Luke Skywalker’s story in the saga and looks back at his audition with Harrison Ford and the late Carrie Fisher from 40 years ago.

“What an extraordinary journey it’s been,” Mark wrote. “Back in 1976 when Carrie, Harrison, and I were testing for our roles in what was then called ‘The Adeventures of Luke Starkiller, as taken from the Journal of the Whills, Saga I: The Star Wars,’ there’s no way we could have known what an incredibly rich and imaginative set of adventures this obscure little space move would launch inspiring eight more chapters to tell the entire Skywalker story.”
Mark continued: “I am deeply thankful for your continued enthusiasm and dedication to George’s faraway galaxy, which will continue to grow with new storytellers building an even bigger galaxy filled with heroes, villains, action, romance, and, of course, the Force. May the Force bbe with you…always.

Terry Crews' Wife Undergoes Double Mastectomy After Breast Cancer Diagnosis!
Rebecca Crews is recovering after undergoing a double mastectomy and reconstructive surgery following her stage one breast cancer diagnosis.
The wife of John Henry actor Terry Crews, 51, told People that she decided to go forward with the surgery after learning the tumour was limited to one area.
However, she admitted she was “overwhelmed with fear” upon hearing her diagnosis, and said Terry also struggled to handle the shocking news.

“My husband has watched me go through a lot, but the look on his face… he looked at me like I was going to die,” she recalled. “He told me it felt like his insides were melting.
“I said, ‘I need you to be strong for me,’ and he said, ‘Okay’ and hugged me, but I think he needed that hug.”
Rebecca, 54, added she always had a “gut feeling” that she’d get cancer one day, and recalled of undergoing tests: “I just thought to myself, ‘Okay, if they find something, Rebecca, just cut it off and reconstruct it’.”

After undergoing surgery on March 3, Rebecca is on the mend at home in Pasadena, where they are hunkering down amid the coronavirus pandemic.
“I have to give him his props because he’s been cooking for me, helping me bathe, and just really stepping up,” she joked. “I tease him all the time, I’m like, ‘Did I have to get cancer to be treated like this?!’”
She added she is staying in the family’s guest room since Terry’s been out and about getting groceries or performing other necessary duties, amid the public health crisis. However, she still interacts with Terry and their kids, Wynfrey, 17, and Isiah, 14, although not as close as they used to.

New York Rangers investigating racial slurs that appeared on chat with prospect K'Andre Miller!
The New York Rangers said they will look into a repeated racial slur that appeared during an online video chat with one of their prospects.
The word appeared when the Rangers hosted a Zoom Q&A Friday with K'Andre Miller, the University of Wisconsin defenseman who was their first-round pick in 2018 and agreed to terms with the team on March 16. The session was open to the first 500 who joined.
"A vile individual hijacked the chat to post racial slurs, which we disabled as soon as possible," the Rangers said in a statement. "We were incredibly appalled by this behavior, which has no place online, on the ice, or anywhere, and we are investigating the matter."
The NHL called the racist taunts "cowardly."
"The person who committed this despicable act is in no way an NHL fan and is not welcome in the hockey community," the league said in a statement. “No one deserves to be subjected to such ugly treatment and it will not be tolerated in our league. We join with the Rangers in condemning this disgusting behavior.”

Miller, 20, signed an entry-level deal that will kick in next season. The 6-3, 206-pounder from St. Paul, Minnesota, had a career-best seven goals in his second season with Wisconsin.
"K’Andre Miller has the support of myself and the entire Wisconsin hockey family. He has a bright future in the game of hockey," Wisconsin coach Tony Granato tweeted. "No one should be subjected to the inexcusable, racist behavior experienced today by K’Andre."

Tweeted Ryan Hardy, general manager of the U.S. Hockey League's Chicago Steel: "I’ve known K’Andre Miller since he was 14 years old. Beneath a tough guy exterior, he’s a sweet kid with a big heart & a dream of making his mother proud. He carries pain inside him that I can never comprehend. Today’s events won’t break him. I wish I could give him a hug."

John Legend and More Stars Pay Tribute to Bill Withers After Singer's Death!
John Legend is mourning a longtime legend who had inspired him and many others in the music world, soul singer Bill Withers.
The Grammy-wining artist, known for '70s hits such as "Lean on Me," "Ain't No Sunshine" and "Lovely Day," died at age 81 from heart complications on Monday in Los Angeles, multiple reports said on Friday. He is survived by his wife Marcia, and two children.

"Mourning the loss of my friend and inspiration, Bill Withers," Legend tweeted. "He was such an incredible songwriter and storyteller. I'm so glad he shared his gift with the world. Life wouldn't be the same without him."
Legend shared a link to an old YouTube video of him and The Roots performing a cover of Withers' song "I Can't Write Left-Handed."
"This song will always mean so much to me," he tweeted. "Our performances of it were always epic and emotional. Some of my favorite of my entire musical life. Captain Kirk's guitar solo was so powerful and dynamic and unpredictable. The first time I ever cried while cutting a vocal was this."
"Bill and I became friends after he saw this YouTube clip," Legend continued. "His friend Bill Russell (yes that Bill Russell) called him up and told him to check it out. Then he emailed someone who then emailed my manager who then forwarded it to me. He loved our version. My year was made."
He added, "The way he communicated it was via a long, funny email that I later discovered was a trademark of his. I always looked forward to hearing from him. He always had a great story for me, told with charm and wit and humor. What a special human being."

Musician Lenny Kravitz also paid tribute to Withers.
"Rest in power Bill Withers," he wrote on Instagram. "Your voice, your songs, and your total expression gave us love, hope, and strength. My soul always has and always will be full of your music. Your humility displayed the depth of your power as you carried us all to a better place. You are still and always will be Bill."

"We all need somebody to lean on. RIP #billwithers," wrote his daughter, actress Zoë Kravitz.
Chance the Rapper tweeted, "Aw man, Bill Withers was really the greatest. Grandma's Hands, Ain't No Sunshine, Lean on Me, Use Me Up, Just The Two Of Us and obviously Lovely Day are some of the best songs of all time. My heart really hurts for him, it reminds me of playing records with at my grandma's house."

"Your music was/is/always will be medicinal," Pharrell Williams wrote on Instagram. "Your sound intersected so many styles and influences, the best ingredients to get through rough times and make good times greater. Led by a voice that was as unique as your pen and chord choices. Your advice to so many of us, who were blessed to meet/know you, was sound. You will be missed big brother. Rest with the master now. Continued blessings and favor to your family, love ones and admirers."
"Lovely Day, Lean On Me, Grandma's Hands. All Timeless Songs. Thank you for giving us so much," Nas wrote on Instagram. "Peace Bill Withers."

Kenny G added, "So sad to hear of the passing of my friend Bill Withers. Not only were we next door neighbors in the 80's, but I also had the honor of working closely with him at that time on a wonderful tour called "Night on the Town." He was all class. RIP my friend."

Neiman Marcus Prepares To File For Bankruptcy!
According to sources, debt-stricken Neiman Marcus Group is preparing to seek bankruptcy protection following the forced closures of its luxury department stores in the U.S. after narrowly being spared from bankruptcy last year.
Up until this week, Neiman had received multiple inquiries from creditors regarding its next moves amid the closings and current state of affairs. This week, the group proceeded with holding confidential discussions with bondholders regarding possible financing that would assist the struggling retailer with continuing to operate while under bankruptcy protection, the sources close to the situation claimed. In addition, the company has also had similar discussions with its lenders in recent days, one of the sources added.

Sources, who asked not to be identified in the confidential matter, added that creditors could potentially give Neiman additional time to make upcoming debt payments that are due this month while restructuring discussions continue. This could result in a transaction that will rework financial obligations outside of bankruptcy proceedings. Last month, the company said it would be “evaluating all courses of action to preserve our financial strength” because of the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to Reuters, last year Neiman reached a deal with creditors to rework debt in an effort to avoid a bankruptcy filing. However, with the unforeseen outbreak of the Coronavirus, the company had no choice but to close all Neiman, Bergdorf Goodman, and Last Call stores through the end of April, furloughing the majority of its 14,000 employees. As a result of the closures, the company has found itself in a large bind as they are still expected to pay interest payments on portions of its more than $4 billion of debt, which are due beginning April 15th.

Neiman has declined to comment on this latest development.

Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and Tim Duncan Headline The Naismith Hall Of Fame 2020 Class!
The late, great Kobe Bryant, Kevin Garnett, and Tim Duncan will all be enshrined into Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame, Aug. 29, in Springfield, Massachusetts.
Bryant and company will be accompanied by 10-time WNBA All-Star Tamika Catchings, three-time NCAA women’s champion, Baylor coach Kim Mulkey, five-time Bently University coach of the year Barbara Stevens, four-time NCAA coach of the year Eddie Sutton, and two-time NBA champion, former Houston Rocket coach, Rudy Tomjanovich.

It was a guarantee Duncan, Garnett, and Bryant would be admitted into Hall of Fame. But the often celebrated event will be engulfed in emotions with the passing of former NBA Commissioner, David Stern January 1 and the tragic passing of Bryant and his 13-year-daughter Gianna, January 26.
”It’s definitely the peak of his NBA career, and every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a stepping stone to be here,” Bryant’s widow Vanessa told ESPN in a video interview Saturday.
Tim Duncan, a five-time champion, a 2-time MVP, and a 15-time All-Star, played his entire 19-year career for Greg Popovich and the San Antonio Spurs.

”It’s kind of the end of the journey here,” Duncan tells ESPN, “It was an incredible career that I enjoyed so much. To call it a dream come true isn’t doing it any justice because I never dreamt I would be at this point. I played the game, enjoyed the game, loved what I did, and to be here now with the guys I will be put in the Hall of Fame with is just an amazing class.”
Kevin ”KG” Garnett started his NBA career with the Minnesota Timberwolves, after being the fifth pick in the 1995 NBA draft, becoming the first and youngest player drafted straight out of high school. KG won MVP honors with Minnesota and an NBA title with the Boston Celtics. During his 21 season career, KG was a 15-time Allstar, 2000 Gold Medal winner, and a 12-time All-Defensive selection.

”It’s the culmination,” Garnett told ESPN during Saturday’s announcement. “It’s the culmination, man. You put countless hours into this. You dedicate yourself to a craft. You take no days off. You play through injuries. You play through demise. You play through obstacles. You give no excuses for anything. You learn you build.”
Kobe Bryant, a 5-time NBA champion, 2-time Finals MVP, 18-time NBA All-Star, 4-time Allstar MVP, 15-time All-NBA selection, and 2-time Scoring Champion, is considered the greatest Lakers ever. Playing all 20 seasons with Los Angeles.

”No amount of words can fully describe what Kobe Bryant meant to the Los Angeles Lakers,” Lakers President, Jeanie Buss said in a statement. “Kobe was not only a proven winner and a champion, but he also gave everything he had to the game of basketball. His fierce competitiveness, work ethic, and drive were unmatched. Those qualities helped Kobe lead us to five titles and have now brought him to the Hall of Fame, where he will be enshrined with the greatest to have ever played the game. No one deserves it more.”
Jerry Colangelo, the chairman of the Hall of Fame’s nominating committee, said in a statement, “We’ve never had a class this strong at the top. And of course, with Kobe’s death, it adds more focus.”
Kobe Bryant’s wife, Vanessa, said Saturday that his election to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame was the “peak of his NBA career.”

Speaking to ESPN’s Rece Davis via FaceTime with her daughter Natalia by her side, Vanessa Bryant said, “It’s an incredible accomplishment and honor, and we’re extremely proud of him. Every accomplishment that he had as an athlete was a steppingstone to be here,” she added. Obviously, we wish that he was here with us to celebrate,” Vanessa said. “But we’re incredibly proud of him. And there’s some solace in knowing that he was probably going to be a part of the 2020 Hall of Fame class.”

Detroit Bus Driver Who Complained About Being Sneezed On Dies From Coronavirus!
A bus driver in Detroit died from the coronavirus two weeks after posting a video on social media complaining about a sick passenger who he said refused to cover her mouth while coughing on the bus.
According to NBC News, 50-year-old Jason Hargrove got sick four days after posting the video on March 21 and then died a week later. In the video Hargrove expressed anger and concern over the safety of transit workers and other passengers.

“Public workers doing our job, trying to make (an) honest living, take care of our families,” he said in the video. “For you to get on the bus … and cough several times without covering up your mouth, and you know (we’re) in the middle of a pandemic — that lets me know that some folks don’t care.”
Mayor Mike Duggan and the Amalgamated Transit Union confirmed his death. Mayor Duggan also expressed his condolences and urged the public to watch Hargrove’s video.

“He was infected before we closed the front doors (on buses),” Duggan said. “Some of his language is graphic, but I don’t know how you can watch it and not tear up. He knew his life was being put in jeopardy … by someone who didn’t take this seriously, and now he’s gone.

Katy Perry & Orlando Bloom Reveal Gender Of Their First Child!
Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom are having a baby girl! The “Swish Swish” songbird broke the exciting news on Instagram last night (April 3), revealing she and her fiance are expecting a daughter. “💕 It’s a girl 💕” Perry captioned an adorable picture of Bloom’s smiling face covered in light pink frosting. Along with the photo, presumably taken during the couple’s gender reveal celebration, Perry tags the image with the empowering message, “Girls Run the World.”
The news must be especially exciting for Perry, who expressed her hopes of having a girl while performing for the first time while pregnant during last month’s Women’s Cricket World Cup Final in Melbourne, Australia.

The reveal comes nearly a month after Perry announced her pregnancy in the music video for her song “Never Worn White.” Perry wears several stylish ensembles throughout the wedding-themed visual, before finally putting her baby bump on full display in a sheer gown.
"I am excited. We're excited and happy and it's probably the longest secret I've ever had to keep," the “Teenage Dream” musician expressed in an Instagram Live video at the time. "And I like to tell you guys everything but I knew I would tell you in the best way, which is through a piece of music because that's... I guess that's how I speak to you. That's how we speak together to each other."
As previously reported, Perry and Bloom are rumored to welcome their daughter this summer. This will be the couple’s first child together, and the second for Bloom following his 9-year-old son, Flynn, with ex-wife Miranda Kerr.
Additionally, the lovebirds are engaged to be married sometime this year — presumably in April, last we reported. As fans know, the Pirates of the Caribbean actor popped the question to the Grammy-nominated songstress last Valentine’s Day with a flower-shaped diamond ring.
